And what we have heard is that this was called in as a stabbing. Now that suspect was apparently seen fleeing the scene by one of the witnesses there who. were at the apartment complex at the time. Be nice to your neighbors. A Philadelphia wompt in a West Oak Lane burning home early Sunday escaped injury thanks to the people living next door. Emaham and Vincent says the woman call to say she was trapped on her home's third floor and she couldn't see through the smoke to escape. Vincent alerted her husband, who ran next door and pulled that neighbor safely through a third floor window. We all talk about it, like what you gonna do with the exit strategy? So you just never think that you have to actually enforce it. So I think that we did pretty good as the neighbors to be able to make sure that we all got out safe. Lamont Newell learned how to code at an LA summer camp, was high school valedictorian, and has chosen to attend Columbia University here in New York. Lamont tells A B C News he's thankful he had family members who supported him. My family was a victim of gang violence and other acts as a crime. So they did push me to go in that lifestyle of academics rather than what they chose. New polling indicates young people are less helpful about their job prospects. Less than half of Americans between 18 and 34 believe it's a good time to find a job in their area. That's according to a new survey from Gallup, which also found 64% of those over 55 report feeling optimistic about their job prospects. Globally, the trend is inverted, with younger people feeling more positive than older people about finding a job. The study considered a thousand U.S. adults between June and July of last year. Mike Daboske, ABC News. Chocolate maker Springin' Mulberry says it is expanding a nationwide chocolate recall due to potential salmonella contamination. The company says some of its chocolate bars sweet with date sugar are included in the recall.
