I'm your host Max Scoville and coming up we are taking a look at some of the many upcoming games that have been shown off in the last few weeks and also wondering why Sony isn't celebrating its big milestone anniversaries like everyone else is. Let's get into it I am joined once again by Brian Altano and Jada Griffin. What's up everybody? How's it going beyond yo yo beyond? Good to be back. Yeah, we've been we've been kind of busy, I guess. People have been, you know, we went from the big summer gaming thing and everyone took comp days and vacations and stuff and so we kind of been spread thin and had to skip a few episodes. But there's a lot to talk about. We got the big huge summer bucket over reveals of new games and things like that. And I definitely want to dive into some of those. I've just pulled a big list of games we should just talk about. But first I want to talk about something that I think is sort of noticeable. We've talked about this a little bit off flying off air or whatever, but it feels like everybody is celebrating big like big anniversaries for games and for IPs much more noticeably than Sony is like with the big some of the big reveals is like, you know, the Microsoft, you know, they've got their own stuff going on. That's weird conversation to have, but they are putting out a big, huge remake of halo. They're putting out a new gears, they're putting in a new fable, like they're really much, they're doing this kind of victory lap stuff. Meanwhile , the N sixty four turns thirty this year. And Nintendo is putting out a remake of Ocarina of Time and effectively a, you know, a remake of Starfox. And it feels like really doing an awesome job of like falling back on these, you know, these beloved IP , you know, Capcom's doing that for Resident Evil, which turns thirty this year. On Amushia turns twenty five, there's a new Onamusha game. There's a new mega man next year when Mega Man turns forty, which is just I feel like he's finally if he was a real human and not a robot, he would look like that weird American box art at this point. Yeah . Just it's funny you bring this up because like literally just today I saw like twenty five different PR blasts from Sega about the thirty fifth anniversary of Sonic the Hedgehog and they're doing like a new pinball table and like partnerships with the Olympics and all these like toys and all this other stuff and it's yeah it's people I think our companies are understanding that a lot of us are old now and we have nostalgia for these things we grew up with and while not necessarily the easiest thing to do to give us a brand new installment in an IP as a video game, there's still like other ways you can kind of celebrate those characters and those moments and those memories. And yeah, some companies are all into it and some just seem like they don't really care . It's so just crazy. Like we just, I mean, so to be fair, we did get a big PlayStation thirtieth anniversary blowout , what a year ago where they did custom consoles and themes and stuff . But hardware is kind of not the thing to be super excited about right now in the market and hardware is only as useful as the games you have to play on them . So you just you just reminded me I would have owned a PS five pro because I went to pre order one that day and it sold out in four seconds and I couldn't get it. So happy birthday. Yeah, I don't want to completely just sort of like say Sony's not doing anything. I will say they are doing stuff, but it is, again, it's for hardware. We did get the big we got Astrobot, which was kind of a nice, you know, big celebration of all these different IP, but it was all baked into one game. Meanwhile, the other big noticeable things were either this awesome limited edition hardware that's sold out immediately in God scalp, or those free themes that are, I feel like kind of they're okay , you know ? I see you. Avatar Fire and Ash is now streaming on Disney plus . It's the film critics are calling the best Avatar yet. A true epic and completely jaw dropping. This is the only pure thing in this world. Return to Pandora on Disney plus. It will be an adventure for the whole family and watch the Oscar winning phenomenon at home. Learn more at windows dot com slash student offer. Law supplies last ends june thirtieth turns at aka dot ms slash college pc. It's the participation trophy of anniversaries? Yeah, but like, I don't know, Parapa the rapper turns thirty this year. How's he doing? What's he up to? He gets doing great. Yeah . He's still out there rapping on the streets. Still trying to get his demo made . Yeah, I mean, Jack and Baxter turns twenty five this year, I think. You know, we're getting the big God of War remake thing, which just in time for Kratos' twenty fifth anniversary last year or twentieth anniversary last year. They did like a God of War Arts show for that. But again, it's like this and it's also I know we gripe about like, what about new IP? We want new things and it's cool that Sony does try new things , but it's like it also, I don't know, it's kind of nice to fall back on that stuff. And you know, pop culture stuff like this is sort of generational and cyclical. And like you get to a certain age you're like, oh , I want to share this with my with my kid we.' Andre seeing this with part of the reason the Mario movie blew up so much, the Sonic movie is that you've got a whole bunch of people who grew up with that stuff as kids and they have kids of their own and they're like, ooh, I want to show them that. And I guess the closest thing to that is like Sony makes games about dad s doing stuff with their sort of, you know, kids or, you know kids, they have to take care of whatever, to try not to die, whatever sad sad dad games . But looking at some of the other stuff, like Konami is doing great, which is a weird sentence to say because for a while , Konami was in big trouble doing very bad stuff. Silent Hill is crushing it right now. Like we're getting they're completely copying resident ev'sil homework and being like, Oh, what do people want? They want a remake and then a new game and then a remake, all right on it. We're doing it . And they're farming it out to different studios that the new one, what is it? Townfall. Townfall looks sick. And I love that it's like it's not just a it's not just a pallet swap. It's like a totally different studio taking a totally different approach to what Silent Hill F was. And at the same time, we're like, I don't know, there's a there is a Silent Hill one remake in development and they've just been like, yeah, we're working on it, Chill . There's also Castlevania turning forty. They took the Castlevania property and gave it to the guys who made dead cells, which is like the most perfect just yes, like take this thing that people love and give it to people who demonstrate how much they love it and how much they learn from it and let them do their own version of it. Mattlear turns forty next year. What is that? What does that look like? I also want to point out like the contrast like you're mentioning all these great studios that are now putting in work with their IPs that are also doing TV's and movie shows like Resident Evils has a movie coming. We've got a Silent Hill movie came out what last year or earlier this year. I I don don't't think think this type of hole was any good. I don't remember. I haven't watched it yet, but Sony okay. It's really sucks okay . And you know, Sony is trying to do these things with TV and mov movies and they're doing a good job of like hitting the franchises that matter , but the problem is they're not nurturing the fan base in the space where it matters most. Like the other companies are all doing. Yeah. It's a scatter shot, you know? Like we got we got until Dawn the movie. And it's like, why are you doing that? Why until Dawn? What do we do? It was like based on somebody reading the blurb from the video game maybe . Like, you know, it didn't seem like they really got into the thick of it. It's a great adaptation of the box art and the name, but otherwise they kind of miss the mark there. Yeah. I think what's awesome about this Castlevania Belmont's curse outside of being a celebration of the franchise. It's very clearly an entry point into these games from people who like the anime. And when I first looked at the art style, I was like kind of bummed out that it wasn't pixel art, obviously because I'm old and I'm always going to say that. But on the flip side, like if you've watched the anim ated the like the animated show, you're going to look at something like this and be like, this feels vaguely familiar to the way I interpret Castlevania as an IP. And they're they're going to come in and be like, Whoa this gamepl cayra iszy and I'm going to be like, yeah, this gameplay has been crazy for forty years. It's awesome . So I think that 's a really good way of getting multiple groups under the same sort of tent, right Sega, I think you can do that. Sega is doing amazing. You mentioned Sonic. Sonic's thirty five, that feels as weird to say. You know, it's up there with like mega man being forty. It's like Sonic so like youthful. And so just like, okay, how much ibuprofen are you taking with those chili dogs bud but no, Sega's also got these two different initiatives. There's one , I don't have the names in front of me because that would require a modocome of preparation for this show, but they are doing two different versions. There's basically one they announced five years ago which was, that they're like, Hey, we know we have a bunch of dormant IP, we're making new games. And that's where we got the basically the acknowledgement, not full on announcement, but that they were doing something with crazy taxi. They were doing something with Streets of Raid, something with Jet Set Radio. Something within Sah, we did get Shinobi. That was the one from the Streets of Rage four devices . Yes, I believe so. Yeah. And it was like, it's cool. Like it's not, you know, it's not a big, huge just massive swing, but it's cool to be like, Hey, yeah, we know that people like this stuff. And we know this is part of our, you know, our culture as a company. So they had that the whole game front. And they also have a separate sort of initiative of doing the same thing across all media. And they announced that the writers and director of the Sonic movies are doing streets of rage next, which hell yeah, let's go that sounds wild. And you know, they're just they I feel like they've been doing a very good job of being like, hey, like, you know, maybe this isn't the big huge triple A reinvention of the thing you wanted, but like, yeah, it's a thing. It's a it's a little it's a little something and it's not it's not like just phoned in. I mean, the fact that they do the all the fun sort of, you know, ash Smothers Br SDLC for Sonic Racing. Yeah, it's great . And they just keep pouring out more and more characters for it and they keep announcing like they're keeping up a really good cadence. I remember when I did the interview, slash preview with them, they said that they were looking at doing one to two years . Like they had characters planned out for almost every month for one to two years. And they've been pretty good about keeping to that . Like it's not been on the dot, but you get multiple characters sometimes in a drop and new maps or courses . And yeah, it's just been a fantastic like drip feed of just showing love to not only their other franchises in their insega's history, but also external partners. Like we've got Turtles I think is coming next month and I can't wait to jump back in and race with all those dudes. They got Rey and Ami in there, which I just love the disparity between like end of Evangelion to like Sonic racing. Yeah, everything's fine. Everything's great . Yeah, I think this it sort of echoes what we talk a lot about this gener ation with PlayStation, where I wish they would do a more of a good job of like sort of celebrating their legendary classic IPs, right? And B , take more risks on smaller games, right ? I feel like it's it's everything has been this two hundred fifty million dollars twenty five hour long third person story driven narrative thing, which I love. I love those games so much. It's been that or it's like Beth House on these games as a service things that haven't necessarily panned out. And yeah, I sort of miss that early PS four era Sony and definitely PS three era Sony where they would just make some smaller games here and there. And I think we got kind of like a whiff of it with the God of War that came out a couple months ago. It kind of came and went , which didn't exactly stick the landing and it wasn't really what I was looking for, but I think that it's like that's why they tried. Yeah, I'm glad they tried. I think I think that's honing in on what they should be doing with these IPs in between , you know, the big ten pole ones. Like I don't think you need like what if there's of Last Us experience that taps into that world that's small, that isn't this massive bloated multiplayer thing, that isn't a twenty something hour cinematic endeavor that gets adapted into an HBO show ? Like what else can you do with that world, right? Like I think about stuff like there's like a fallout mobile game, right? Like fallout shelter. There's a bridge construct portal, right? Nintendo's constantly taking little risks with like smaller games, you know, you get an echoes of wisdom in between Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom and a cadence of high rule and stuff like that . You know, Super Mario thirty five and Mario Run and stuff, like, I think there's ways to take these established things and make smaller games that sort of keep the lights on for the franchise in between the big ones. So we talked about this a bit, but like I think the inverse we talked about this with Sarah specifically like why does Saras look as good as it does when it doesn't need to . And I think the inverse of that is that like making smaller games doesn't highlight how powerful your console is. And ultimately, like that's the selling point is Sony makes a very high tech gaming device and they want to sell that thing. And they have they sell software too, but the focus is like they want people to have a PlayStation. And they want to make first party software that really just shows that off and really shit makes it really flexes what it can do. And we've seen this with kind of how these properties have evolved over time. And like, I don't know, when the PlayStation one came out, they're like, yeah, crash Bandicoot. He's made of polygons. Wow, like crazy. Look at multiple colors. This is a huge step up from a super Nintendo or whatever. And like , you know, as time progresses, it's like, okay, now you've got Jack and Daxter. Okay, now you've got Nathan Drake. Now you've got just a human person . And you know, admittedly like that's impressive . That showcases the tech, but it's also considerably more complicated to make. Like you've got more moving parts and I know there is that thing where, you know, we griped about sons of Sparta, not sticking the landing for God of war . But there are people who look at us a two D game or a side scroller game and go, that's that should be fifteen dollars . And you know, it should it should be cheaper because it looks simpler. And on some level, I understand that thinking, but at the same time, like , I don't know, how do you how do you handle this? How do you how do you even do this? And it's I mean the graphics snobbery stuff, I think important it's because we are spending a lot of money on these high end devices and you know, they have to carry the generation for ten years and devs work really hard to make stuff look photorealistic. And the counterpoint is that I think an increasingly shrinking demographic of people actually care about that. I agree . Yeah. I think it's I think it's us olds . And I think that younger, I mean I don't need to if you look at the most lucrative games on Pl ayStation right now like for every three or four hyper realistic or whatever GTA was GTA five was hyper realistic fourteen years ago or whatever , still looks good. But there's a roblox rock inet a league in a minecraft, and I think that like younger younger kids are sitting down and play video games in a different sort of mindset . And I think reaching them in a way that can be make them fans of an IP to carry them over until the big A one comes out is is something that's worth pursuing. Like I think that like if we all looked at Wolverine and it was like it didn't, you know, it didn't Like it looks significantly worse than the last few insomnia games. We might be a little miffed and be like, what's going on here? But I don't know if the average gamer really cares . I think we're at this point in in generations and generational improvements between consoles to where graphic fidelity as though many people are always going to, oh look at all these frames and look how, you know good, it looks and everything . I think if we capt ics at where we're at now and instead that time and energy that is going into R and D to make things look better like, percentage, like minimum, like single digit percentage better from the previous generation. And that time went into gameplay mechanics, storytelling, multiplayer , like not like, you know, live service multiplayer but just better experiences I think everybody would be on board for that. Yeah speaking for myself and many that I know that I talk with about these kinds of things, I think we' d all be okay with that. I also like we're at a point in time. I am not excited for the next generation of consoles. I could not care less what the PS six is going to look like due whatever . It's fine. It looks good. Like the PS five is great. I think we're Sony feels to me that they're repeating their PS three era right now to where they came off the PS two and the PS three year and they were they were the top dog, they could do no wrong . And how he's celebrating the PS three's anniversary? Are they just doing this doing a remake of any at here? Yeah. But I mean five hundred ninety nine US dollars. I mean, you look at it. Like the PS four was the same as the PS two generation where they just absolutely cleaned up and they had amazing game after game after game game and just dominated the market and PS two and PS five are kind of doing the same thing . Now granted, PS five is out selling PS three , if I remember right number wise, out selling it earlier. And then also it's beating out Xbox faster than the PS three. Eventually that caught up and pat surpassed three hundred and sixty at that time , but even without those numbers, it's still like not as great compared to like the previous generation, just like the PS three. Like we got amazing games and I won't dis count all of our incentive to make that game when they're just they're a third party machine right now. Yep. And their audience doesn't have an incentive to jump ship to a significant more expensive console when they can play said games on PS four and PS four pro and they look good enough, you know . And so that's going to be that's going to be a problem if you think that's a problem now if we're starting the next gen in two years that's going to be a major problem then because you're going to have you're going to have us, right? Like the whales, the hardcore, the people listening to the show are going to , you know, they're going to look at their bank accounts once they announce that price for the PS six, which given the steam machine this week and you know just the general direction of where everything has been heading won't be good. So I don't I don't like please be excited or right like it's I know that there's going to be that moment we're all going to be grudgingly be like yeah but it's going you know but look how much better the games look and I'm only going to be able to play the next Final Fantasy on this or whatever you know it's yeah it's it's definitely Sony is not in an easy position right now other than having the controls to change their direction and do something else . But I understand to Max's point earlier is they're trying to sell a premium device and they're trying to make sure what they're selling on this premium device takes full advantage of it and makes consumers and people who buy these consoles feel like they're getting a premium purchase. Yeah, I mean speaking of making things look more high tech and better, you know, another anniversary is Rayman and we're getting that Rayman Legend stories untold which takes what was celebrated for being a hand drawn game and reinvents it as like a two point five D thing, which still looks good. It's still, you know, it's got great animation, but it feels like it also sort of missed the misses the point of what people liked about the original . And yeah, I'm sort of split on this one. I'm glad they're doing something more than just poured I'll put it this way. This is I believe this was the last game I reviewed for IGN and this was during an era where we did platform reviews for basically every platform . the And difference is between each version of Rayman Legends was just annoying enough because it had that Murphy touchscreen stuff, which on Vita had its own way of doing it and Wii U had its own way and on consoles didn't, on other consoles didn't. So I burned out on this game. And so when I heard the rumor of this getting a remaster or retelling, I guess you want to call it legally. You got to review it. Yeah, no, definitely not. But I was also I was also kind of just like, well , why? It already looked so good. Like this is one of the most beautiful games of all time. And then I saw this and I was like, okay, that's actually, you know, that's that's nice. If this is a if this is my gateway to get a new Rayman game and people buy this and they reuse these assets and they make me another game, cool, I'm in on that, you know, I think , you know , that's one way of doing it. Like the remakes and remasters of like basically taking the groundwork, something like Metal G id III, right? Where you have the architecture of a video game and you build like sort of new a new thing around it that sort of honors the original. And then maybe take those a year or two later and build another game out of it. I think that's a cool way of doing it, but this is also this didn't need to look any better than it already did. I'm not mad at it, but it's kind of like, well, why, man? Yep. Assassin's Creed turning twenty , not Y Man . Yman, legend something . I think I would like Raymond better if they called him YM 'Cause I look at him and I just think, why ? Why don't you have arms or legs? Just hands and I like I always figuring out what it is that bothers me about him. And he looks like a specific Olympics mascot from like the nineteen ninety six Olympics. And then I real Rizayedmond predates him. So was the Olympics mask got a rip off of Raymond? And if so, why did they make Rayman look like that? Why did they draw him that way? I don't like it. It looks like a comic you would see at a Canadian gas station on a road trip in the ninet ies with your family and you'd be like, Dad, can I get that? And you'd be like, It's all in French. It's pretty much Rayman Ray . Yeah, I mean yeah, we got the Rayman remake Thursday assassin screen black flag one . I feel like they might have another remake or two up their sleeve, but the blood we have also been hearing about the Black Flag one for fifteen years at this point or whatever . We're not getting that prince of Persia remake. That one just didn't happen, which is a choice. Meanwhile, Tombaider, we're getting tomorrow remake. That turns thirty. Happy Birthday, Larry Croft, there you go. That's the word looking at sort of who owns sweat as another complicated thing where we're like, oh, what's that PS one mascot? Crash Banduco, okay.'s Okay, he by owned Xbox. Spyro owned by Xbox. Like, what are the most beloved video game characters that you associate with the PS one? This is our whole thing at IG and Live, but like , yeah, you're like, oh man, Tom Raider, it was a definitive game for the PS one that is now owned by Embracer Group . Somebody ? Yeah Idahos was owned by yeah, they were owned by Square Enix for a second, but then like got sold off and then somebody bought them on eBay and it's just like now Amazon owns them. Yeah, Amazon owns, what do I say? Embracer did own them. Yeah. It's hard to keep track of who owns what? And that makes it very complicated when you're trying to be like, all right, let's get these PlayStation Greatest Hits characters together and do a big fat victory lap. Who do we have? And it's like, Parapa, is he alive? It's still it also slows down the tempo for these games getting released or getting made. You know what I mean? Laura Croft , if Two Raider Games are moving between studios every two to three years, who's developing the game in an effort , you know, consistent. It's either brings me to my to my next point, the hitman sort of anecdotally, like the fact that the James Bond game was already well in development by the time Amazon bought the rights to that franchise, there was this kind of weird handshake deal where I owner active was like, We're going to finish it, and then Amazon's like, we're going to publish the next one, I think. And everyone's like, wait, so that we don't get to make the games anymore. And it's still extremely confusing about what that was happening . That was that was such a weird like after the this game got, you know, sold well and had tons of yeah, it's it is it is so weird to me that they like that that story came out right when it did and it was like, hey so we own this now and we don't know what's going to happen next .w Anayy, our new game, enjoying. Well, at least I owns Hitman, and Hitman's doing great. They're doing a remake of the first two games, I think, which is cool. Yeah. And then meanwhile, over at Square Enix, they Dragon Quest is turning forty. They're always doing stuff for Dragon Quest. I was at the Japanese grocery store the other day and you know boss coffee. This guy like the picture of the guy looks like Tommy Lee Jones on it. You can drink it in Yakuza, those little canned coffee. They had a they had a Dragon Quest three , was it three HD two D remake? They had like a limited edition can. And I was like, wow, that is like a thirty seven year old game and they put it they're putting it on cans. It's weird. It's one thing to be like, oh, it's like a can of fantasy that's got a brand new Diablo game or like the latest call of duty. It's weird to look at a can of coffee that has like an old sprite on it , but then it occurred to me, who is drinking canned coffee but old people . Yeah, you know, if you buy a product that has a picture of a guy who looks like Tommy Lee Jones on it, you're probably like, Dragon Quest for the famine comb, I love it. Would you be happier if they put the old sprite on a new sprite . Yes . Speaking of dad jokes. No, I think that's always that's always funny to me when an anniversary is just like that where it's just like, you know, happy birthday earthmworm gy. It's just like it's just reading that something and you're like, are you doing are you doing anything else? No. Okay, this could have been a Facebook post . That wasn't that wasn't even like an anniversary thing. That was trying to promote the new the new remake of the old game, which is wild. But yes, I mean Square is the final at any year a final fantasy game is celebrating an anniversary because they're just so damn many of them. But I guess Final Fantasy ten turns twenty five this year, I think. And maybe they'll remake that in twenty forty seven or something. Again, for another time? Well, I guess the last ones were a remaster, so it was the first remake . Yeah, I mean , I don't know. We're old. I think they also like recently posted a random image of Lightning sitting on a throne from Final Fantasy XIII , but no context just posted the image. So , you know, just okay, giving me something the other day that was like it was like happy fifteenth birthday Minecraft. And I was like no how did that happen already? You want to know something craz y as Roblox turns twenty next year. I think. It might be even older than that. Roblox has been around since it was like a browser game, but Roblox has been around for a long time. Yeah. So it's always weird when stuff like that has been kicking around for ages. But the good news is, you know, we grip about Sony not doing anything. The good news is these things that are celebrating anniversaries that we associate with PlayStation are still in PlayStation. So it's, you know, you can play resin evil or Tom Raider or whatever old thing you used to love. Now it's back, but it's newer. The graphics are better, but your eyesight is worse, so meet in the middle somewhere . Speak for yourself . Well, your eyesight's getting better. How does that work? I just think they are. Okay, you know what? I buy it. It's weird Anyway, shifting gears. Let's talk about new games. Let's talk about new games that are coming out that brand are new ones that aren't just remakes of forty year old things that aren't just let's talk about anything but Rayman. Sorry, I just don't I just don't like him very much. It's okay. All right , let's talk about something we love. Kingdom Hearts four. Brian, how excited are you for Kingdom Hearts four? Excited Jane, how did Jane Brian's so excited. Look at the expression on his face. Sorry audio listeners. It's just full of amazement. Brian cannot wait to get out of Sora Cosplay and run around the house with his daughter. Did you see they got in trouble because they used AI generated art on the cover? And it was like, wow, this is like you combine my two least favorite art styles. AI generated art and kingdom of arts This is so great. It's like if you took my least favorite restaurant in town and you filled it with rats andach Roes twelve . Challenge accepted, I really won't go here . They made Donald Duck have too many fingers, which if you're familiar with duck physiology. Ducks aren't supposed to have any fingers. I don't know, I actually don't know enough about those games that if he did have that many fingers I'd be like, maybe they did that so he could hold a shield or whatever he does. So he could tie his big doofy ass . I love Brian's like lack of Kingdom Hearts knowledge is always like I love just hearing it because people are going to be like Goofy has the shield not Donald. It's a hard which it's it's look , I have I have no beef with you guys. I've never gotten any of these games. They've done nothing to entice me to get any of these games. You put fractions in the title of your hand Why would I tell? All right. So Brian can't wait for Kingdom Hearts four. Jada, what do you exact what are you excited about this game? I mean, it's Kingdom Hearts four. This is one of those games. It's in the way that you two both love Metal Gear and the intricacies of its lore and its characters world. Okay . King of Arts is that for other people And you know , me myself, I'm not a huge King Hearts lore nerd and you know, I understand the keyblade wars and the crossing and all that type of those elements of it . For me, I love the action in the Kingdom Hearts games. I think it does a really great job with like its combat mechanics and its combos and transformations . I'm also , you know, a kid from the eighties and nineties, so seeing my favorite Disney movies show up in a video game form was a blast when I played it back on the PS two and even all the way up through , you know, kind of three . I think this looks great and I like the Neo Tokyo kind of look that we're getting here. I don't remember what this area what this does this feel like it's coming out sooner than the last one? I mean the last, one is a long way, huh? I think we are going to get this one a lot sooner. Like the time between three and four is definitely going to be shorter than the time between two and three, I think. I think without you know shot in the dark, I think we see Kingdom Hearts four in twenty twenty eight at the latest . I think it's like a late twenty twenty eight game at the latest, I think. So yeah, well we'll have plenty of more opportunities to talk about it. I'm so excited . Yeah . Another game I know we probably all want to talk about more, or at least Brian doesn't want to talk about less is Gen Atlas, which is the new Ueda game, which which I feel like they showed that off and they showed off a bunch of stuff that clearly resembles gameplay and it's like it's gorgeous and you're like, wow, this is cool. And you're still kind of like what the what do you do in the game? You know , there is an official description up. This is actually kind of reassuring that it's I don't know . I feel like after last Guardian there's and again, same deal with Kingdom Hearts where it's like yeah you're kind of shell shocked from having so long of a wait for the last one that you almost don't want to get excited for this next thing. But I feel like this one is closer than might closer than Last Guardian was for a very long time . But yeah, it's got a it's got a PlayStation store page. And it says, without knowing why, you awaken on abandoned planet before you lies a vast silent world, colossal structures stretch over endless plains, deserted facilities, and an ever changing sea. The remnants of some grand design litter the planet's surface as you journey deeper into the strange world, a colossal robot awaits. Its overwhelming power opens paths to places once beyond reach, beyond transforming your conception of the world across an endless expanse of time. The remnants of those forgotten constructs begin to move once more. It is a single player open world action adventure game. This game sounds sick. Yes. I feel like it is just an open world surreal metroidvania based on what they're saying with a mech. I'm into it. I'm so excited for this. Yeah, yeah. I just like feeling I like feeling disoriented by a video game in that kind of like in that creepy way where you're like, you know , so we know we know what so many things are. So many things are just familiar, but like there's that feeling of playing a weird old game for the first time where you're like, I don't know who these who I am or where I am. And like , yeah. So this one hasn't had me completely sold on just premise and what I've seen so far , but what does have me sold on it is just knowing what I've gotten out of Shadow of the Colossus, Lasgardian and Eco like yeah I know I'm probably in for just like amazing an amazing game . So that I'm kind of like foot is in the front door. It's up for them to like either push me out the room or invite me further in. It's vampire rules. Yeah that's why I think it's better. It made me so happy to know to see what the studio was working on and to know that they had something new in the works that it was this far along , which, you know, with them it could still be further than we think, but the last Guardian , I thought was such a such a it's flawed obviously, right ? But it is such a deeply beautiful haunting and touching game that just really stuck with me. I think about like the last hour of that game a lot , just the sort of way the story that in that game culminates. If you haven't, if you haven't played it and, you know, you you saw reviews and they were like, you know, seven out of ten or whatever. Like, I don't think it really, when you just see a number like that, I don't really think it depicts just how unique the games are that the studio makes and how sort of like just harrowing and heartfelt they are at the same time. They're really sort of sad in a very beautiful touching kind of way. And I don't really know how to explain it better than that, but sometimes that's a really good vibe to pick up on in a video game, you know? Like it's there were, you know, hardcore power fantasies where you mash axe a million times and do whatever they were doing to that guy's big arm in the Kingdom Hearts trailer we just looked at. I think a lot of people look at a thing with a big robot in it and they're like, this should be cool and fun but in reality true Mecca stories are de pressing as hell clunky C Evangelion, C Mobile Suit Gundam. There's a new Gundam game coming out and I feel weird about it. It is Gundam Rogue Orbit , which they were like they set it up on SGF and they were like, it's one of the it's one of the most influential sci fi franchises ever and I watched like the I know I know gun I'm wearing gun shot. I have a gun tattoo. I know about gun stuff. They showed like the first like forty five seconds of it and I was like art type Star Trek. Like what is this? Because there's like there's big monsters, which is not a Gundam thing. And the mech designs are like , I'm kind of not into it. They're sort of weird. They're like , they're like kind of too video gamey. It kind of looks like we have, you know, we have armored corps at home. And but then there's a preview that just went up recently that said something that is like specifically what I want, which is this is supposed to focus on making you feel more like a pilot than just a robot, which is my big my big note with these things is it always just feels like you're controlling like you're just playing as a robot. And what I like is the idea for to really truly feel like a mech is the idea that you're controlling a person who gets in this thing . Like yeah, you know, it's the difference between like playing something like GTA versus playing like something like Forto where there's a sense of like I got in the car. I'm not just this disembodied entity that controls the car. I'm a person in the car and it's like, I want to have that with a robot, but nothing they're showing from this game actually seems to reflect that yet. So I'm immensely skeptical, but I'm also it's kind of cool. This is I think this is the first time they've launched like a major new Gundam, you know, sub serious property, whatever. It's exclusively been a game first . So interesting, curious, but you just haven't heard that they're bringing back, you know, there's going to be a special edition that's going to come with the Steel Battalion setup. So you're going to be able to have to have like twelve hundred controls. You're going to have to want. I like that. I think that's cool. Janet were you were you working at GameStop during the Steel Battalion Controller? I had somebody trade one in to my store that we couldn't did not have a skew for 'cause it were not it was the thing that you just couldn't buy, but the guy really wanted to offload it. So I was like, I can buy it for like a couple used controllers price , like and then resell it that way . And so I did a portion. And so I took it home. I took it home that night 'cause we were able to like borrow like used products . So I took it home and I tried it out and I was like, this is really cool, but I by no means do I want to play with this setup for like twenty hours? This is too much. Like it's so much funny. Yeah. I love that that was like a footnote in history that that was a real controller that got made at some point. I love it. And then the sequel was just a connect game so there was no controller . People were like split the difference. Find something in the al right, yeah. Moving on. Persona four, but also person a six . How you feeling, Jada, which is more interesting right now? Who ? For me, I think it's person a four. I absolutely adore playing P four Golden on the Vita , right? That was Vita era . And I really like that storyline for that for that playthrough, so I'm really looking forward to re visiting that and see what that looks. I still haven't revisited Persona three remake or remastered , whatever that one was taglined was . So I'm not really sure where those kind of sit at right now , but I'm very much a fan of four. So I'm really looking forward to trying this one out when it gets here . As for P six , I need to see more. I'm intrigued , but they show very little of that so far. And so it'll be interesting to see what direction they go after the just like historic P five and Persona five Royal Editions did like that was just everywhere for so long. No we're at a we're at a point where like you know you see this where like when the second something is really good the third usually fumbles it . With video games, I feel like we're at the point where the fifth entry was so good. How do you possibly top it? Case in point being Skyrim, GCA five, person a five , it's you reach a point where like, hey, I don't know what to do. You know, what's the fort force of horizon six, for instance, like it's just it's you either have to deliver something that's safe or something that makes choices that are , you know, if they're if it takes big swings it, people like no, I, li itked better the old way. Go back. I'm hoping I haven't looked at the specific development teams behind person a six Royal, but or Persona six, not royal, obviously, not at that point yet . But if they do include a lot of the things we got with metaphor refantasio , I think we're going to be in for a really good time with this one. And I'm hoping this one based on the color scheming and kind of the ghostbuster slime kind of green that they're going with that it could be kind of like more ghost focused. That could be kind of a cool play on it. Like you've always gone all types of demons and stuff like that in the persona games, but ghosts or could be a cool focus. All right, so moving on, crossfire is a game that nobody 's about. What? Okay, so full disclosure I was going to say about whatever game Pelmit er, former IGN guy is writer on this. So there's a rampant conflict of interest, but I do think the game looks cool. It looks it looks enough. The air on that, Max. I didn't like Gotham Knights at all and he also worked on that. So I bounced hard office . I like the Gotham Knights. I don't know. I'm going to get persecuted in the comments and he worked on that. So I don't know. No, the conflict of interest is when you can't tell your friend like, Hey, man, what are you doing? But I have no idea no idea what he did on this aside from work on it, apparently. He mostly just text us about JRPGs , but anyway, this is why King to Martz like I feel like they open this trailer with a very kind of straight like it looks very modern warfare down to Claudio Dumet who's in modern warfare too or whatever . And it's like looks very kind of straightforward, shooty stuff. And then just weird sci fi stuff starts happening in the tail end and the fact that it's kind of dynamic stealth or like what that's what they call it like Yeah, Max, you did the interview for this at IGN Live and I think that like one of the things I kept hearing about this game is it's got this like really fascinating sort of sneaking stealth system where you get shot or hurt and so if your butt sticking up in the air exactly you can get shot in the patoot. That's one of the new game breaking things that they're adding here. No, but they basically were like they were Pokemon and Unreal and they were like, this is like there's nanite technology where like you have infinite pixels or shapes or whatever on screen and they were like, it feels stupid to make a stealth game or a shooter where cover is just limited to like box, triangle, corner, like to, you know, the sort of conventional approach to stealth is, you know, you snap to cover because cover is just like a little wall, you know? And if you look at the sort of how they're doing the terrain in this game , it looks interesting where you basically your character tries to break line of sight, but it's weird because you're in third person . So I their technology is having a realistic human character model who corresponds to your third person controls to get into cover in a way that I guess will try to actually break line of sight with AI and, that supposedly extends to stealth too. They shot off like a little bit of stealth in there just kind of sneaking around. And I don't know, I think a lot about in Metal Gear Solid five, just the movement of sprinting into a crawl into like a just a yeah , I think that's some of the most gratifying just movement in a video game ever. And I mean, I love it, you know, helldivers too scooped it. They loved it too. Yep, but seeing seeing someone like play around with this in a , I guess in a on a battlefield where the entire approach to hiding is different. It looks kind of cool. And yeah, I don't know. I'm justious cur about this one. The thing about CrossFire for me is that what it initially kind of turned me off is I'm so over just hyper realistic military kind of things. Like I just past that point in my time where I'm like, oh that looks so cool. A new call of Didyd or whatever , you know ? This one, I do like the fact that they are more kind of focused on the stealth because I love stealth in my games. I love sneaking around, choking people out. That's just kind of my MO in games. I threw more guns at people in zero zero seven to finish them off than I shot . Like that was I was using guns wrong , but it was fun . I love doing those kind of elements for in games like this and the kind of I don't know supernatural elements that we get a little tease of towards the end like you were mentioning Max , I think that is I think that's something that will probably interest me to at least give this a shot as we get closer when it launches . And to circle back to another point you said about, you know, being able to get shot in the butt if your butt sticking out of cover because of because of, you know, all the new tools and such that we have with unreal and how powerful it is it's becoming , I think if that is that is to circle back to our conversation earlier . That is where I would like to see more upgrades go because so many games when it comes to hitboxes, especially you look at like a fighting game, it's rectangles that are punching rectangles especially and that's what determines if you get hit or if you don't get hit because somebody's, you know, rectangle hit extends further than you think it does . And so many elements in games are boiled down to triangles and rectangles. And if we're able to get more dynamic with that with more pixel precision in future generations , that is something that is enticing to me for the next generations of consoles. That's awesome.' Theyre trying to break established game mechanics and that's interesting. I think like at first glance you're like, okay, it's a big polished triple A realistic shooter. But just talk to the devs about it like they were really mean this is this crossfire is a free to play Korean first person shooter that's been massive on PC for twenty years. They have a lot of money to throw around and they kind of just approached people who worked on The Last of Us and Uncharted and Call of Duty and they were like, Hey, you know how to make some big games? Make a big game. And they were like, for real. And they were like, Yeah, go for it. Go nuts. And they're just, that's what they're doing. And it's, I like that they are , you know, they have the luxury of experimenting and try ing something that isn't, you know, that isn't proven and it could be completely it could be completely infuriating. It could be totally busted, but I like that they're actually trying something and yeah the games industry right now with sort of big investors kind of feels like the very tail end of the first year of a new streaming platform launching and they're like, we're just throwing money at everything , right ? And I don't know how long that's going to last. I think that realistically, like I like look, a company's saying, let's get a whole bunch of talented people together and give them a bunch of money to make a, you know , a story driven single player game . All right, yeah, hell yeah, like , I'm all in. I feel like there's a limited amount of money you can bring in on that and they'll find that out the hard way. But in the meantime, we get cool single player games and that's that's what I'm here for. So yeah, yeah. I mean, this could be this could be another Calista protocol. It could also be SPACOPS the line. That's another one it kind of reminds me of where when that game first came along, everyone's like Specops, huh? Well, okay, you know, it was like it was a annualized straightforward military shooter that was on. Yeah. And then the line was like, yeah, what if we made it apocalypse now? And remember like the thing they showcase with that early on was like sand physics and everyone's like, okay, sand sand interesting. All right. And then it was like the real selling point was that it got it got super weird narratively. And yeah, I don't know. I just I feel like this could have this could have potential in that department. But yeah, it's it's always, you know, odd part of this job is like getting a reveal for something that makes you go like, okay, whatever, and then talking to someone about it who worked on it and then saying the right combination of things where you're like, okay, this makes me care more. Like the things you're describing this project or the amount of passion you have for it is something else . Well, I think it was tough to pick up all of that just looking at this trailer, right? Like it's a cool trailer and I'm with Jada where I'm pretty burned on like hyper realistic military stuff. I think this one is has just enough kind of dashes of hard sci fi in it that I'm like that's the more of that crossover, the more I'm like or cross fire, I guess the happier I I am because 've yeah, I feel like what happens is like we get hyper realistic military stuff and then they're like to offset how challenging and dark this is you can unlock Bevis and Buthead. And I'm like, okay, well that's yeah, that's I like them. I don't know if I want them here. And so this I like I like the idea of bringing in some sci fi elements because that's that's one of my favorite genres and I want more of that. I love how like the call of duty account for the next one. They were like, We're keeping it serious . No lady gaga, no shrek, save the receipts. And then like this morning they were like, Black Ob Seven's getting Nicolas Cage everybody and I was like, they do that every time they hear it, they interview like a veteran, it's like a black and white room and he was like, we couldn't have done what we did without the strength of our peers. And then it like five months later they're just like, Oh, it's Endless Mode and with Jeff Goldblum and we built it. We got the Sandman from the Enter Sandman song from Metallicaser and what's happening? Why not? Yeah . Relax and let Kroger Pickup handle your grocery shopping this week . We start with only the freshest items, then choose your favorites. Carefully pack everything up and load it right into your trunk so you can feel confident it's what you ordered. There's two really cool looking Star Wars games that are coming out like soon. , crazy. And they're they're doing two there I love. that they are exact opposite mentalities, but they both sound like they're kind of mixing it up in the best possible way. Star Wars Zero Company is the it's got the it's at a glance you're like, okay, it's XCOM. The thing that I think they're burying is that it's also very massive effect too , where you are basically trying to get this whole like ragtag crew together and you have to like do you have to build relationships with them. So there's there's that. You also have like,, you'll also have kind of, you know, your own customizable not disposable, but you'll have like non non bespoke scripted characters, but then you'll have a handful of like thoroughly written out NPCs that you have like on your squad and you can pick and choose who you want to take in the battle. And you know, then the rest of it seems like it's just Star Wars XCOM, which like no problem with that. That sounds like a good time. I would like to play that . I love a good tactical game. The Xcom was Enemy Unknown was my first and I was always prior to that was like I just didn't really give a shit about turn based stuff and I don't really know why. I don't know what made it click but that just suddenly was like, oh wow, I actually enjoy strategy on some level. This is neat . And I think also just the amount of the amount of personality that XCOM had where you go back to your little base and you like talk to people and there's a sense of kind of , going back to the whole like thing about I like a robot game where you feel like you get in the robot. I like that you can you feel like you're in this world. You're not just looking at grids . And this one sounds like they're just kind of they're music to my ears , and it comes out in like August, I think. When is this? Yeah, this is this is like not my favorite genre of games, but this is one of my favorite IP's. And I realize that that does a lot of heavy lifting for me. That alien one that came out, what was the name of it Max ? Oh my God. The tactical one where you're like guys down through that was really awesome. It was like a tactic based alien game that did really good survival horror and people went insane from space madness and there was characters. Descent. Yeah, I really I really dug that one. That one was was real real time combat? I think it was. That was technically I believe it I think it was like pseudo real time to where it kind of things moved while you moved kind of aspect. It's been a while since I play'veed it so I could be wrong as well. But yeah, it wasn't I was sort of hoping it would just be like a more straight XCOM thing and it was it was cool, but it wasn't exactly what I wanted. But yeah, this is looking, I don't know, this is looking neat and, you know, for the impatient among us, there's also Star Wars Galactic Racer, which is, I don't know, I love that you're like, okay, there's a turn based tactical strategy thing. You wait your turn, you're playing your next move. Here's one where you go three hundred miles an hour and try to make other things blow up instead of you. And I'm now into Star Wars. yeah, keep getting more excited for this. This reminds me of the old school , like early days where like we were getting stuff like extreme G and wipe out and like this whole like, hey, the year is twenty twenty two and the world has gone apocalyptic and the only way to save it is to drive these stupid things really fast. I'm like, yes, sure. Man, that's great. I love it. And there are always such graphical showcases and stuff like that. This one looks really cool reading about like the Rogue elements for the story mode. Also, I realized they put a, what's his name Max Rio? He's like in solo and he's voiced by Jean Favreau and there's another one of those four monkey guys who's voiced by Scorsese in Mandalorian and Grogu, and they have one of those guys in this game and I hope they got a director for it. It's Wes Anderson. It's Wes I heard it here it's not . I wish these cars would stop going so damn fashion. I think if he tried to talk to Wes Anderson about pod racing, he would just burst into flames . That pod racing is basically the opposite of all of his sensibilities I am so hyped for both of these. This like the trailer for pod racing here or racers is just straight up burnout for me. Everything from the cinematic when you run somebody into a wall like, it's just calling my name. That is going to be a day one, easy , easy, easy decision for me . And zero company as well. I just finished up Midnight Suns with Platinum like last year. Oh hell yeah, I played that for so many hours. Like it was I probably put it pumped a good hour to it. The game was shorter. That game was too long. Yeah, I mean, but I loved it. I loved all the interactions with all the your teammates and everybody that you could like, you know, take storm on a little date up to the roof and yeah that was the part I liked. But then yeah, you then you get stuck fighting like zomb ie juggernaut for three hours or whatever no, that was yeah I just hope they take what everybody loves about like did the original XCOM games and they take in a lot of that pseudo relationship stuff and put it into Zero Company. If so, I think they've got a winning hand. I asked them if there's romance options they wouldn't tell me, but I hope there's romance options so I can do kissing when I'm not engaged in like tactical permaid mode. So the human side of the racers the thing I'm also excited about or me human, alien, whatever. There's bits where you're in between races where you get to like walk around a little area . I was immediately on bore with this one when they first showed it off and then I heard the Rogite thing and I was kind of iffy about it, but the more I think about it, the more I really like it because it's sounds like it's kind of rogue light choose your adventure. Like it's very wrapped around the story. It's not just not just the gameplay side of it, but yeah, I guess between races, you get to sort of hang out . Yeah, you get to hang out in that place where like , you know, we're quiagon and Watt playo diceed or whatever that paddock area, the junkyard, yeah. Yeah. And it's just yeah. How could it be ? How could it be if you like those conversations like led into like somebody tampering with your vehicle before a race or something like storrail. I really hope that's the case. That would be really cool. Yeah, I think just that is a great gameplay. Yeah. This does it doesn't need again, this game doesn't need to get weird. It doesn't need to be a roguelite. It doesn't need to have, you know, character interactions , it could just be a straightforward racing game and people would probably be excited for it , but I really like that they are actually getting they're trying some new stuff, they're getting a little bit creative with it. And yeah, they're doing a little world building. It's cool. I think that creative world building is what's going to make will help take this game from being a cool. I've played it for three, six months to play people playing it for a year . Yeah . Also, can I just say how extremely happy it makes me that we are getting two Star Wars games within months of each other instead of multiple Star Wars game cancellations within months of each other. Like we got so used to just like hearing about a thing. Oh, it's not happening. Hearing about a thing. It's they're not doing it. And like, I don't know, EA, I don't know how they do things over there, but we got like they had that franchise for ten years and I think we got , I don't know, we got the Jedi games out of it. That was cool. Battlefront had its moments, but it was largely it felt like they were just overthinking else. Yeah. No and these are not these are not small games by any stretch of the imagination, but they're definitely smaller than Battlefront two was, right? Like there isn't there aren't six hundred maps here from what I can tell or like six years of planned content. I don't know what the long tail looks like for galactic racers, but something tells me that this is not of the same budget as something like that. And this is this is what I think you need to do like,, you know, and like do this and do even smaller stuff, right? Bring back Yoda stories. Give me small games again. Oh man, yeah, modern Yoda stories. I play that. I came . Make it a road light.. Yeah At romance options, you can go kiss Yoda. He loves this to kiss that snake that he says his forehead. I'm not shooting, I'm smooching . Anyway, yeah, we had a I assume I will. We have a lot more games to talk about. I think we should wrap it up for now, but both of you, is there a specific game besides Grand Theft Auto because you're legally obligated to say that's the most exciting game that you're most looking forward to, Brian . Oh man, this is really tough right now. The code Veronica or Veronica thing was a really, really exciting announcement for me because we just got Resin Evil nine like a few months ago. And so like I'm still extremely hot on that. I'm still full on Resin Evil. We're getting a new Resin Evil movie in a couple of months, which I can't wait for. This eye was like, I knew we were going to get another remake from Capcom Eventually, right? I didn't know they would show this much already and I followed them on all the resident evil social media sites and they're already like they're promoting this thing already. Like big time. Like a couple weeks after the reveal they were like, hey , here's this detail, here's this thing. And I'm like, Oh man, yeah, so we're just rolling right into the next Reson Evil game. Awesome. Like I think that the cadence they have right now of releasing a remake, releasing a brand new game, releas ing a remake, like they are just so locked in and I don't think anybody is on that level right now. Like seriously, nobody I don't think there's a single IP that's on this level right now like we're getting, you know we're getting the occ ranive time remake and Starfox remake and stuff like that . But we didn't get those four months after the previous games and a year before the next game or whatever with a movie coming out at the exact same time. Although Zelda's kind of close over there . But yeah, it's this was such an awesome surprise and I love the reveal trailer because it took me like a good four minutes to figure out what the hell I was even looking at and that's some of my favorite and then like to go from the unfamiliar to the familiar and peel back the layers on what I think is one of the more slept on resin evil games , this is gonna be awesome. So yeah , bring it on. That's a good call. That's a good choice. I am going to go with my Turtles . TMNT Last Ronin is probably it's so far out so like I hate to put hype on it, but it's my turtles. We're getting the last Ronin Storyline, which is just an amazing story and it's being done by Platinum Games, which means the combat almost destined to be like peak combat. Like sitting sitting next to you when we saw this trailer and we found out what it was and who was making it was one of those like classic E three moments for me of being in a room full of people getting surprised like I yeah, I was so happy to be there next to you because you were losing it. Yeah, this is one of those times where I wish I was on stage for our show because I don't get many moments where I flip out on camera because it's like something just blows me away and I'm so excited for it. And this is one of those things. So I am I'm so excited for it. I love that my turtles are getting such a renaissance in the last like five, six years and this yeah, this is my number one that I'm hyped at well this way far away but it had a game sort of unofficially announced or kind of half acidly announced and then it was a movie announced that was canceled Yeah just recently assumed the game was canceled. I think that was under embracer and I don't know if they ever had a studio attached to it, but they were like , yeah, it's going to be a quadruple narrative focus single player like God of war like game. And we're like, that could work, but I also don't see it happening . But platinum, I'm in. They're yeah got it. They're fine. Yeah And it's yeah, I mean this is such a good story to adapt because I feel like one thing that's always worked against modern turtles games is that you know, when you're making when you're making a beat them up and you've got four characters who sort of fight the same and it's whatever it's fine if they're if they're kind of kind of same econtrol wise or the balance is a little bit off. But in modern games that's a lot more work. You got to do four times the fine tuning of all that. And in this case, you don't, because there's one turtle who gets all the weapons, and that just feels like it's going to be sort of metroidvania . So it's gonna lit itself, like everything about this story is gonna lend its self real well to their gameplay design style . Yeah , yeah. Those are both very good answers . On a considerably weirder note, I am so stoked for Blood Dungeon, which is the new game from Messoff, who did NitHog? Didn't yeah. And it's I don't know. I adore Nithog. I think it's a beautiful simple game and they made NitHog too, which has some of my favorite art direction, but didn't't I don know, it added slightly more elements and I didn't love it quite as much. And I just I miss the original Nidhog. It's something so weird and sort of primal about it. Like it feels like it's for a timeline where Atari never went out of business or whatever or there was never a video game crash . And this one is a like an auto an auto shooter rogue light . I don't even know. Like looks this looks so much fun. Yeah, harvest blood. Like it's just called blood I'm like eighty percent sure I had like an iTunes playlist called Blood Dungeon in two thousand seven. So I knew this is one of the craziest looking . This is like equal partsult Adim Sw and Jeff Minter and Suita five one and you know, vintage action platformer like Splunky Vibe There's so much so much cool. This feels like the kind of thing that like if they showed Saturday morning cartoons at two o'clock in the morning that you weren't allowed to see , which basically is what adult swim did . Yeah, yeah. Very stoked for this one. It's out late summer this year because there's not enough games coming out. But I mean, even aside from the aesthetics, like the way the original Nidhog feels to play is just there's something so like it's so much faster than it needs to be and it just feels so like to make something that's so gross and so violent without with like three colors is like crazy. So I'm just very stoked to see what this plays like and how it feels. And I also yeah, I guess I like rogulites now. I don't know when that happened, but here we go. Here we go . So that was some of the games we were going to talk about. We're gonna talk about more games. Head to humblebundle. com from now through july sixth to start playing today. Those are a bunch of good games. I like having construction simulator and Indica in the same bundle . That is an odd pairing, but I'll take it, you know, quick ly shout out to Indica. That was one of the most special games I've played in a while. It's sort of a chore at times deliberately by design, but man , that one's awesome. And for our listeners out there if you, haven't joined our IGN Discord, make sure you join our IGN discord.
