And once you start to put together the pieces that everything is not just made up in your mind that I actually experienced a lot of that. The nuts and bolts of this story is this crazy big fooot encounter that kind of happened at the end of once he was married, but If you want to become a member, listen to Larrys story Flcreatures. com sllash members and you get access to so many things events and we're kicking around some ideas in the fall. But let's get Larry on the show and hear this one of a kind blurry grab bag that leads up to a wild Big foot encounter Long ago, far away. Welcome back to Blurry Creatures We are here And you know, Larry, is with us And some of you out there might know Larry, but he's going to do his best to be honest and tell us his story. Larry, you have one of those emails that we get from on occasion that has more stories than we know what to do with. And so The only way to do this episode is to start at the beginning and ask you What are your thoughts on Bigfoot and then do our best to stay in the train car of crazy as you tell your story of all the wild stuff that happens. And some people just want one thing strange and weird. seeee a Bigfoot at some point in their life, but then some people seem to see everything in the blurry verse. over their lifetime. and why is that? we don't know. But welcome to the podcast. What are your thoughts on Bigfoot? and we'll get into it Thanks thanks guys for having me. Is this I knew the question was coming, but My gosh. you know when I was a kid, I grew up on stories about Bigfoot for my dad used to live in Washington and a very small town of Piala back then. and he's got stories. And so I used to think it was just a random ape we ha't caught up with. And I would love to keep thinking that But unfortunately, after my experience, I can't I can't. I want to stay in that that zone of it's just some wild thing that we haven't caught, but Yeah, Larry, what did your dad or your family have encounters? Doid they have an encounter? we talk about stories They they do. My grandpather, he passed away in the hospital When I was about one or two years old, Dad remembers a lot from from his own childhood And there's a particular story he used to tell me to where His dad went outside one night and came back in, got his gun, came back outside. And he didn't tell Deb what it was until his deathbed And he's all big, but he used to tell me that story. and I used to be, wow, that's so cool, dad. Yeah. So apparently it's seeing them in in the blood a little bit, I guess. In the family. Yeah. As you just said, I think you're leading up leading us to it, but You know, you wish it was like a relic or remnant ape as as as our our friend the late. U Dr. Jeff Mldrom would talk about, but This seems as a It's you don't think that anymore. I don't think that. I think it's I think it's as much physical as it is spiritual in a way U I really honestly think there's a lot more to it than just blush and blood. I've encountered all kinds of animals. I've never encountered something that gives you that much dread. in my life There's no there's no way. That's the teaser. I love it. There's the teaser for the story. this is a comp. I can'tot ask questions if you say things like that, Larry. Well, I think we're we're gonna to get to it, but let's's that's the vibe they put out, right? They terrify people just It's like a frequency. Yeah, frequency Yeah. Yeah. I don't know if they even mean to do that. It just seems to happen. It's like when women get around me, they just feel a little terrified. Yeah. Yeah, I like to s thatpect to my wife, but probably not. It' terrified. You're like, sca I'm gonna scare you into liking me. That is a beautiful ginger man. What do I do? Like l It's like the lady we you talked to that saw the Bigfoot on the shore and said he was just beautiful. Exactly. I'm like, I don't know what to do with that Let's Larry, let' start to beginning. and we'll get to the Blin encounter because I know it A lot of what happens to you in your childhood and your formative years actually leads up to through that terrifying encounter in in your email and I'll just I'll provide a little background, but you, you know, you reached out to us, you're saying that You've had a lifelong experiences when it comes to the paranormals in the supernatural You've got Puerto Rican and Nz Pierce is your background and you I let you talk about that, but there's some generational stuff that happens in there. and you know, I'm not sure that you've connected that or not, but let's start at the at the beginning. And like kind of some of the groundwork for or when you arrive on the scene and And sort of what happens is you andew Rich are growing up Yeah sounds good. I don't know if I just got double dose in my blood but my mom's side is Puerto Rican and her Her mother's family, much so my grandma, were all mediums. they they delved into that pretty hard from my understanding. So there there's whatever that may bring On my dad's side, I have the Nz Pice And his grandfather was apparently a high up freemason So there's a lot of talk about Freemasons and things that they do So I don't know if all this kind of cultivated into generational curses or anything like that. I don't know. Blood seems to be important bloodlines and all that stuff. so I've kind of thought about it and I've wondered Nothing I can confirm, you know. So growing up then, did you were you aware of the medium practices as a child? Was that something that you didn't know about No, I didn't know about that until it was about. thirteen or fourteen But everything before that was just scary stuff but I my earliest memories would be when I was just the littleittlest kids, we had a house in Sacramento And it was a rented house. It was there from oh gosh, the late seventies, early eighties. Wherear in sack Do do you remember where the AW was Yeah used to have an a AAW. Oh I I know where that is. I know exactly where that is. It was the right by there. Grandma and grandpa used to take me there all the time for floats. Sos to stop there because I'm from I fromm Chico, right? So we would go down to Sacramento Pph before Chico got you know, really got like any kind of stores or malls. You kind of had to go to S. Those before Roseville had the Gallery. shout out to all my Nora people listen to know we're talking about. but that we used to go down to what's that mall, Nate in I can't think of the name right Ar Fair Mall. Ararden Fair. was on the Aren Fair like to get school clothes and stuff when I was in high school because there wasn't really a lot letesss you want to go to JC Penney at the old mall in Chic couldo You know, you had to go down there, but that's So Good have fellow Norcal. Yeah G. ANW is the jam, B ripper in the world Those were some of my most precious memories of my grandparents were them driving us down to that AW Yeah Yeah that's where I got my love of root here. Yeah. So I obviously I grew up in Sack and Luke grew up close, but we know the yell nine hundred one six It's weird out there. So you're You're renting a house? Yeah, we rented a house Some of my earliest memories were waking up in the middle of the night and hearing something in the kitchen And I would run And I would run to my parents room, I'd jump into the bed scared And my earliest prayers were for God to take my hearing away, so I didn't have to hear the scary noises in. And it sounded like somebody moving, opening fridges, shutting cabinets. All sorts of stuff, and nobody was up. Nobody was around.
