It's Professional Professional Wrestle Wrestle. Welcome aboard. It is Cheap Heat Live on Pro Wrestling Nation 24-7. I am your forever 24-7 champion Peter Rosenberg. Uh that is the stat guy himself. Yeah. Stat stat guy Greg to you and me. How are you, SGG? I'm I'm good. I I noticed you' are little bit confused about who I am because I made a terrible mistake today. It's it's awful. I actually feel what happened really . So you know, I went to shave my beard down a little bit just to just to give us going to ask, but Yeah, I did and um my hand was a little bit too heavy for this task and I put a a patch right in it. Not one that you could like brush over and make it look you know, I couldn't even I couldn't do it so I just said you know what I'm just gonna I just gotta go all the way I went goatee with it but I I didn't like how I looked with the goate e I looked like Did you picture? I didn't take any pictures. There's no way. Look, in my line of work, no, I didn't want any evidence. Wait, wait. Did you did you see Crystal yet? No. I'm actually texting her right now to let her know that I look like a big toe and that she should not be alarmed I've still the man she fell in love with like personality wise but like looks wise please don't call in because we had that conversation a couple of weeks ago where she she admitted to the world that she she married me apart because I was very But when she but when she married you there was no beard. No, there was it was not when she met you though. Not when she met you. When she met but I was different though. I was like a little slimmer, so you know I could get I'd had the a stronger hairline, so I had the I had it up top. But now I I I have you know listen what and I by the way, by the way, when you say the words a little slimmer, you're really little's doing a lot of work there. You know what I mean? You're having Don't get me wrong, but like you've definitely got the black man's advantage in this regard. I'll be back in a week. So I'm not, I'm not a week? I think so. I'll be back in like a week. I'll have like a lighter, like a little a little five o'clock shadow in like a couple of days. And then it won't be like full beard, but I'll be I'll have something to line up to so today. I'm like I'm hat fishing a little bit. I got my hat on, hopefully that distracts from. Not catfishing, hat fishing. No, hat fishing. Yeah. I'm happy that distracts from what happens on the bottom half, but it's I don't think it's working. This happened with me and Natalie uh early on. I was in Tampa , pandemic days, and I don't know what I did, but I messed up. Natalie and I'd only been together for what? Nat like a few months. Yeah, four months. Remember? And I sent you the uh a picture or I FaceTimed you and you were like, 'Cause I would shave my face completely? It was very and by the way, back then I didn't even have this much beard. I had less than this, and it's still all going away is is a lot. But anyways gu,ys, wait, what the hell are we doing? Zach broke serious. So it was Pat Mac. I think it was Pat McAfee. We're blaming Zach because he's here, but Pat Mc D say he wanted to ruin wrestling and and he wanted to come for the marks and he knew of course that the largest gathering of marks on a Friday at noon, yep, is right here, Sirius XM, Pro Wrestling Nation 247 . And he came for us. He tried to ruin our smack now. So we apologize. If you're just tuning in right now, no, that was not you. That was uh that was a bigger serious issue that SGG believes was done by McAfee. But we are here now. We're still gonna go till two o'clock, so we're gonna hit you with as much as we can in that time. SGG, first of all, did you I don't even know, did you do any Patreon recaps? I did two Patreon recaps, night one and night two. Night one, I went solo. Okay. Um, I think I went about 40 minutes, and I have to say, you make it look very easy talking to yourself, not pretending that you're talking to an audience, you make it look very easy. It was it's even harder when you're recorded though, because when you're recorded, you're literally not talking to anyone. Like at least last week when I was live from down there, I was talking to people and like I'm looking at Kelly with a headset on, like we're I'm having some you when you're going dolo from the crib, yeah. Listen that this is what makes Sam a master. No one can talk to themselves and pontificate on wrestling like Sam Roberts. Yeah. And I mean I'll be honest, I study. By the way, make that a promo. I I suggest you cut what I just said right there, Susumo, and give that to Sam, because that is a great piece of promo business right there. It's a fact. And it's a fact. But it's did Emilio join you Sunday? And then Emilio joined me for night two. Because you know it's it's WrestleMania. So you gotta up the ante for the second night. I'm listening I'm sure Emilio came in hot. The man is very opinionated. He was probably like, hey, why you want to talk about WrestleMania the whole time when we're a few days removed from Darby Allen beating MJF for the title? Believe it or not, there was no Darby Allen MJF talk. Although we should probably get into that too, because that no, we have to. I mean, WrestleMania week, it wasn't a WWE sanctioned event, but that that definitely was part of the excitement of the week. The first big thing that wrestle wrestling fans got was that Darby Allen, MJ F squash a Jace? Yeah, and by the way, that that is partially why I think people are so dumb if they didn't appreciate it at all. Like, it's WrestleMania week. You know you can't win the week. You could either fold up and just go home, or you could take a swing at something that I can argue and we'll get into it later. I can argue why it makes sense and works. And guess what? You created some good conversation in a week when you would normally have a huge L. But let's we'll get into that later. Let's just overall start with it, S G . I mean, uh how obviously we know you're happy, you're wearing your OTC shirt. Couldn't be more happy. You know, the Roman is at the top of the mountain one once again. That's right. Um, how did you how did you rate let's start with night one? Were you among the very disappointed uh after night one because I know that was out there certainly all over the IWC the internet wrestling fans were upset with night one I was and uh um not for the reasons that most people were I know they they looked up the match time they're like oh it's a four hour show we only got this amount of time and matches bell to bell that's not really that's part of my criticism but i understand right it's wrestleMania, it's a show . So I want to see the special entrances. I want to see the video packages. I want to see the pageantry. I want to see the comedy stuff. Like uh we got night two with Dan House. And I want to see the Hall of Famers come out and take their bow, that cuts into the match times. So I'm not really that you know pressed about the match times, but I do think that this year, because we got everything that you want out of WrestleMania plus four minutes of ads in between these matches that the they went so heavy on the ads that yeah it did cut into the matches and made some of the matches feel a little short and I don't think we even got as many of the video p ackages that we that we usually get with a WrestleMania. Usually it's a video package for every match. And then you're like, damn, I forgot about that time that so-and-so cracked so-and-so with the steel chair. Or like, I forgot they put these matches together. They they frame it in your mind so well. And then I don't think we even got that. So it's interesting, SUG, because you know, one of the things that we talked about leading up to it, and we've talked about it before, but particularly this year because you were staying home, is you were like, hey, I'm gonna do the I got the best seat in the house on the couch. Yeah. This year, I don't know if that was true. I don't think so. I think you want to be in the building. 'Cause I was there and you didn't notice it the same way in the building. In fact, and I don't know if anyone has covered this, but since it's literally, you know, my department there, I I certainly paid attention to it, but they actually had entertainment on the deck on the on the countdown desk between matches in the arena. They had I was I wasn't a part of it. I was just hanging out watching, preparing for the post show. But they had Graves, E , and Joe Tess between every match actually entertaining the stadium. Which is a great way. It's a great way to film that time. And I think, like you said, I think if you're in the arena or stadium, I should say for WrestleMania , you know , a lot of times wrestling fans do this disrespectful thing where they say, okay, this match is the bathroom break. When you stretch it out and you have like that entertainment in between the matches, you don't have to sacrifice somebody's work, like one of the wrestlers, one of the performers, and say this is the quote-unquote bathroom break because that's what the ads are giving you, right? The ads are giving you that time to hit the bathroom, hit concessions, get your pretzel on, whatever you want to do, get your beer. That's what the ads do for you in the stadium. But and I respect that, but again, I gotta for the home team, I gotta represent for the home team. I was at home and I'm just like, can we get back to the show? Let me let me let me throw this at you though . If the main event had ended in a way that made more sense and you felt satisfied at the end of the main event , I believe that would have vastly shaped the perception of WrestleMania Saturday in a different way. Yeah. I people were waiting for that moment to happen . And when Cody just pinned Randy after Randy turned on Pat , after Pat had been taken out by jelly roll but came back. So you got all the Michigas, all the nonsense happened, but in a way where it was unsatisfying at the end. And once you heard that third count and you knew it was over and the music hit and nothing happened, there was a feeling of well, that's it? You know, and that for the record, that is a bigger problem than this year. That has become a problem , period, with the way things have been booked in recent years. Is that SUG, even on Sunday , just to see Roman hit the spear one, two, three, people are not used to it. They're like,' Wshat a clean finish? What it was a super spear, and it was exactly what they wanted out of Roman, right? No, it no Usos, no. I would have loved to see family come out and hit it because that's what that's his MO, right? People are allowed to have their have their thing um him and his family being united is his thing i wouldn't have minded it but yeah uh the clean finish with the super spear is what they wanted right now that's a case of beware what you wish for with Roman Reigns. 'Cause and but but still I I could sense the I could sense people being, oh, that's it. Well what do we do now? So uh listen, uh I I um I've heard Sam's thoug hts. I I don't I assume on the air he said a similar version to what he said to me in person. The way Sam, you know, Sam is amazing at creating a version of the story that literally the writers don't even know about . Right. Like I told Sam his new job should be he goes in after the match and actually tells the writers what happened. But the version that Sam told me of what happened Saturday and why it made sense to me were really entertaining and interesting. But unfortunately, I live in quote unquote reality. And by that I mean what the intended outcome was. And what it felt like to a lot of the people watching was by having Pat get taken out the way he did, and it's over at the end, it reinforced ever y criticism everyone had leading into it . Because to me at that point, SGG, hear me out. What I'm saying is by it just ending on that night, then it's literally it seems like what people were reading online. He was brought in by TKO to boost the momentum of the thing, and that's it. And now it's over. I got to the point where now that we're doing it, Greg, I want to see it. Exactly. What's the story? Because I I didn't I kind of guys, I know this sounds crazy. I know this sounds crazy. I I kind of wanted Randy and Pat to win. And yeah. And now we're going evil. And now we're gonna see where this thing goes. It it ended up SGG by having him taken out in the match. I don't understand why you had to take him out twice. I thought the jelly roll elbow through the table was enough, by the way. I thought that was a very clean people had gotten overloaded with celebrity. And and and poor jelly roll took the took some of this now too. So now everyone's catching it. So when Jelly Roll took him out with the elbow and he looked up and he goes, Now have a clean one-on-one. I went, All right, listen, either way, SGG, they were bailing. Either way, they bailed. Yeah. But it was clean, it was at the beginning, and now we have a match. And it was a good match. And they have a i i I thought they had a great I really enjoyed it. I can't f you know we can interpret, you know, the the ups and downs Cody went on, sort of hearing the voices in his head, hearing Stephanie McMahon. He got kind of bad, he rubbed the blood on his chest . We can interpret it all the ways we want . But then Pat came out again. Yeah. Now there's two separate thoughts I have on this . Number one, I'm gonna give credit where credit is due. While I did not like the the McAfee thing over the last month and did and in the end really felt by it disappearing it ended up being as bad as most people thought it was. Yeah. That does not change the fact that his rundown with the tight ref shirt and the neck brace was hilarious. Like that was visually, objectively to me, good shit. Like that was funny, good sh it. Now, I didn't need it in a serious main event of WrestleMania spot. I don't think that was the right place for it, but just from a sheer like performance standpoint, I gotta tell you, I know some of you guys are gonna hate this. I think Pat as like a shitty heel is pretty entertaining and funny and kind of what he's meant to be. Like, I really I thought that stuff was funny. But now he comes down. SGG, were they trying to say it was a fast count? Was it supposed to be a fast count that wasn't fast enough? And then Randy said, you F that up, RKO? Is that what they were trying to tell us there? That's that was the story because I, you know, I love Corey Grays, but when he called it a fast count on the post show, I wanted to, I was wondering if he somehow got wrestle mania at one and a half speed or or double speed video because that was that was one of not one of the fastest counts i've ever seen that was probably on the slower end and then yeah he, deserved the RKO. But if I'm Randy Orton, though. But for what? What did he deserve the RKO for from Randy's side? If they if they've been friends the whole time. For messing up the count, he deserved the RKO. But this is but still, that's where it falls apart for me, because this entire time Pat McAfee has been in your pocket to ensure that you come out as champion. He's your insurance policy. Why in the hell are you taking out your insurance policy when he's wearing the one thing that can guarantee that he can do what he says he's gonna do. He's in the ref shirt. Why is he in the RKO before you've secured the championship? It makes no sense. Sam, I don't know what he said on the air, but Sam off the air to me said he took the the Randy taking out RKO, uh giving Pat the RKO thing as Randy being like, all right, I'm gonna do this the right way now. Let's let's let's just end this clean. And then Cody, digging deep and knowing what he has to do to beat someone like Randy, said, nah, bumped that and then hit him with the crossroads and ended it. Like we're here's here's where this here's where the Sam Roberts propaganda machine, you know, malfunctions though. Okay, go ahead. If Randy felt like he had to do it the right way and he had to finish it without the help of Pat McAfee, who was brought in for that exact role. It's not it wasn't shocking that that's what Pat was meant to do. He Randy was well aware that they were gonna do every underhanded thing to get the title. But if he decided in that moment that he wanted to be Randy Orton on the up and up and do things the jelly roll way , 90 seconds later , he hits him with the belt, punts his eye out of his head, and then stands up with the championship. So he reverses course imm ediately immediately on that. I'm gonna do this the right way. Because now Cody's look at Cody's eye. I haven't seen it today, but it looked horrible on Monday. Horrible . So I just don't think it works. Um , and I think what this was was uh probably what most people thought. Yeah. I I thought Pat was in, Pat was brought in from the tippy top to make this WrestleMania have some noise and some buzz. We can we can go back and forth about the level of success it had and whether or not you hate it or love it. I will say this . And believe me, on the night, the first night I saw Pat come out, you guys know. We were we were on cheap heat that day speculating what's going to happen on SmackDown. Okay. We mentioned some great exciting things. When I saw it was Pat, uh believe me, I went, oh, hell no, this cannot be it. However, I also can't lie to you guys, and I also understand some of you may disagree . I was more interested after Pat's involvement in that storyline. I was curious about what would happen. I know a lot of people like, no, we didn't need it. We had Randy and Cody, and I agree with you. There is a lot of story there. And had Pat not shown up, we would have told a different story, and I'm sure I would have been into that. But I was always curious about what he was gonna do next. And and shout out to you for being an adult. This the story we wanted was not what we got, but we got what we got. So let's see how it plays out. That's all we can do. I mean, uh overall, I feel how I feel. It's not my number one favorite story. And I thought Saturday night was yes, I thought the the the main event left something to be desired and that's a l a big reason that people were going hardcore with the complaints as opposed to, you know, for example, celebrating the brilliance of of Seth Rollins and Gunther, which we'll we'll get to in just a minute. Okay. That's a piece. That's how it felt. It it it it in the end, he he gone and now we move on with our lives. I mean that that's what it feels like. You know, and then and then um you know he did what he does, which is then followed it up with an announcement on his show . Um which again always feels disjointed to me 'cause I just don't know how many WWE fans are on Pat Show. Yeah. If it feels like a bit of a different world. So and and also he just kind of gave a pretty bul you know, a generic statement, right? He was like, Yeah, I'm done. I did my thing. But it wasn't enough where I believe it either.. Yeah Nori has this great thing, this great clip from Drink Chip that I think about all the time. Um and I forget who he's interviewing, but he brings up something that they talked about in other interviews and the person lets him know that like you know he spoke about this and Nori says look it never happened if it never happened here so Pat going on his show and saying whatever he had to say if we don't see it on WWE programming . I'm sorry, Pat . As far as wrestling's concerned, it doesn't matter because we know that's the WWE model. It never happened if it never happened here. So you can clean it up for your audience as much as you want. But if we don't get that video package on Friday or on a Monday, then well, and that and and and and that would be even again, if they don't make real mention of it tonight, you know, particularly because the McAfee story was a smackdown story essentially. Yes. If they don't make real mention of it tonight , that that to me, it's it's it it was literally for a two-week build and that's it. And we're it's it's done. Either that or someone bailed on it. Yeah. Like it was either that was the whole plan. The plan was no, it's it's for a two week push, let's see what happens and we move on, or they bailed. But we'll we'll I guess we'll figure it out. SG G before we went to the break, I started talking about Seth and Gunther. And this is why I think if the main event had stuck its landing more, people would have walked out of night one feeling much better. Because I thought the start to m night one was tremendous. I did also. That was a great first hour showcase on ESPN too. The six man tag that you got was exactly what you wanted. I show speed already looks like if he wants to be the cruiserweight version of Logan Paul, he probably could be. Like that's how athletic and talented. The fact that Logan Paul and and iShow Speed are both so famous from streaming and are both such freakish athletes is wild to me. Like it's it's funny. Both speed and Logan Paul, I feel like could have just been pro-athletes if that was the path they went on. Yeah. Especially with low with uh speed. You know, he has that show speed goes pro and like he he streams himself trying different things and and engaging in different athletic endeavors . Yeah, I I mean it I feel like there's nothing he could not do if he didn't decide that no his gift to the world was just sharing sharing his life with the people . Yeah. Um it's he he's just incredible. So already off to a great start. And I I what do where do you think they'll go with Logan and and speed? I think it's done for now. Um which is kind of unfortunate. But speed is a kid, like he's 2 1. When he gets back from the Caribbean, if he decides he wants to to hit the ring again, I think WWE welcome him with open arms. Cause I mean his his genius is that he's not and I I'll put Yachty in this category too. They didn't show up trying to look like too cool to do whatever or look foolish. Like Yachty ate a Huluva kick and just corpsed. Like he he hit the ground like he was dead. Speed took that spear in the rumble that we all remember was just like, bro , Can somebody check on him after that? Yeah. It's awful. It was it looked so terrible. Yeah. Awful health-wise for him. Great for everybody who did not have to take the spear and got to just watch. And then just in the build-up to this storyl ine, being like the chump who wanted no smoke with anybody and him being comfortable in that role, I think that has more legs than like the cool heel who has to come in and kick ass because I'm a badass and my reputation's on the line. I would much rather see people do it the way Speed does it. And for him to be so young and not have any ego about it and do that, knowing that that's the path to to more more work and the path to longevity and and all that. Hey, hats off to him. Hey, listen, it's it's just a matter him and Logan are in the same spot of like, do you feel like doing it? How much do you want to do it? Because I mean my guess is speed is already up SUG in the in the hundred million dollar range probably. I I'm not you know I'm not pocket watching, but I would have to guess if that if we'll be around there. Let's see what Google says. I'm predicting a hundred a hundred million I show speed net worth according to a random check on the internet. Uh between thirty and forty million. Okay. That's not bad. It's not a hundred, but it's not bad. It said it went from under a hundred thousand in twenty nineteen to over twenty million by the end of twenty twenty four. Again, this is from the always reliable the times of India. So you know that's it has to be accurate. Yeah. The the the the the website that posts everything that gets said ever on the internet. Um but yeah either way it's a matter of whether he wants to do this or not, but he was very good. And then, you know, we got in Drew and Jacob what we knew we would get. And I thought it turned out maybe even better than expected. Yeah, the my only knock against Drew and Jacob is that for the unsanctioned tag it didn't have the violence that I would have wanted out of an unsanctioned match. Okay. Fair. But um I mean there's there was some factors that that play at that right like it's airing on ESPN 2. You want to showcase, but you don't want to look like the freak show. You don't want people to think that wrestling is like this circus that they might think of it as, or like you don't want to know all the negativity, even though that match was built for the negativity. And also local time in um Las Vegas, it was what, like three in the afternoon? Bruh. It was nobody's trying to bleed at three in the afternoon. Come on. I couldn't believe, I couldn't believe how early it was on the post show bro and how light it was. It was crazy, right? It was. I was like uh I I mean I kind of get it. It's so bright outside. Nobody's trying to it's the weather's nice, you know, nobody's trying to see that in the nice daytime weather. But I will tell you the video of the sun setting as the tribal chief came out on Sunday. It it doesn't get better than that. Were you were you surprised? I'm jumping ahead a little bit, but I apologize. You never know if we're gonna get all the way there. Were you surprised at all by the tribal chiefs' appearance on uh the post show? I was. Um, not just by what he said, but just because I didn't anticipate him, you know, coming and sitting down at the post show and and cutting some great promos, put Oba on notice, you know. Um, but yeah, I was I was very pleased with what we got on the post show. Yeah, I I had heard I had been in the right place at the right time and overheard someone say something about the winner of the main event on post show. And the truth is when you hear that, based on the history we've seen, that makes you think punk. Think think punk. Yeah. Cause punk and Cody, big post show guys, both have done it many times. And just even on Monday or Friday, right? They cut that promo going right into the last thing you see at WrestleMania is those guys with mics in their hands. They love that spot. Roman . Nice. He's off to the PJ. Yeah. But but not only does he show up to the post show, but he says, get ready to see my ass all summer. Not going anywhere. Yeah. Which I was surprised by also. Oh, and that was a big I believe that's a big shut the bleep up to the potential backlash for the match of people being like, great, Roman wins and he's not even gonna be on the sho w. And he's well, guess what? He won and he's gonna be on the show. So finishing out Saturday. Um I thought Becky and AJ was cool. I know people are upset it was super short. I I get it. It sounds like they may not even be done yet. I was sure they'd be done. Now I'm not so sure Becky and AJ are done. Based on AJ's interview in the post show , um, I don't know. I just kind of felt like she might . It would be rubber match, right? That's two singles . Um, I think they're one apiece. Yeah, I think they I think they all want a piece. Um we'll see. But they they they got SGG. I think that was like the worst match time. Given the level of the the the talents, how big they are, title match, I think their match time was like under eight minutes, bell to bell. Yeah, and it felt very short to me. I remember when it uh when the bell rang at the end, I was like , where's the rest of the match? Where like because even if you look at the if you just think about it in terms of the feud length, right? When you look at the other matches on the card , Becky and AJ have been feuding probably for the longest amount of times. I'm not gonna count Roman Reigns and CM Punk, because that was 14 years, but like, let's be real, most of it didn't play out the way it played out here on WWE TV of like I'm winning the rumble and I'm going at you. So I'm gonna say that feud counted for this amount of time. I'm gonna do the same thing with Cody and Randy. Plenty of history, but this feud was not as long . But uh Becky and AJ had been feuding since AJ returned. Um eight fifteen officially , according to Zach, was their match their their bell time. Yeah, that they could have they they could have got more. I I feel like they needed more. And I don't know, it's easy for me to say because then it's like, okay, how do you fill that time? What do you do? But that's that's that you're not a producer. They'll they'll figure it out. Right. But and also having seen that match, yes you want to leave the fans wanting more, but you don't want them to feel shortchanged. And I felt shortchanged by by that match because they were this is cooking. This is where this is where you know uh uh you understand fans getting angry by the amount of spots . Because uh I heard speculation that SUG uh uh I don't know forty five minutes of commercials throughout the night, something like that, whatever the number was. Yeah. If it's a number that high and yet you have your talent going , Hey, we don't have we have eight minutes . I mean, my guess is listen, first of all, Becky Lynch is the greatest of all time. Absolutely. We know that to be true. Absolutely. But SUG is there Is there a bigger woman in WWE right now, not named Rhea Ripley, besides AJ Lee? Like she's gigantic right now. Like this is she is people come out for her. Like she she is the kids are dressing up, they're buying the shirts. Like AJ is a star star, and Becky is Becky Lynch. So it is a weird one that of all the places to get time, all you had to do was give Becky and AJ twelve minutes. That that that would have made all the difference in the world. Yeah. I think I think Seth and Gunther only went like sixteen and but SGG I gotta tell you I do not know the last time I was at an event and a non-main event or maybe even including main event, took the crowd on that kind of a journey through nothing but the wrestling. Yeah. Like Seth and Gunther barely have a story. Okay. They did not have a story. And and now SGG, we know after the return of Braun Breaker, that match was twofold. We need to get these two guys in a match and a lot of stuff has happened, and we got to get Seth to Braunbreaker. That is it. That is what that was. Mission accomplished, too. They smashed it. Smashed it. Because guess what? Gunther beats another legend. Maybe not one who's retiring, but he beats another legend. He doesn't lose. He gets a win at WrestleMania . Um, Seth loses nothing by getting speared by Braun and losing. And now we're off to Seth and Braun Breaker. So and oh, and in the meantime, the guys deliver a classic. Like I that's what I'm saying. I don't even have normally when you're going through the big oohs and ahs of a match, at least a big part of that in the mind of the fan is based on the story. Yes. Not that Guther didn't have a story. No. It was just their skills, SGG, just the up and down of the storytelling in the squared circle. Yeah, and I will say this too. That goes to show just the just how great the roster is in WWE and like that talent pool because they took these guys and they said, all right, we just, you know, we're gonna put together something. We're gonna get you there. But let the bell ring and you do what you do. And it's not the first time WWE's been in that position where they had to like pivot and just put together a match. I think about I think about the AJ Styles and Finn Balor match where um I think Finn was supposed to face Bray, but he ended up facing AJ Styles, and that match was fantastic. And it's like when you have the right guys just in place, ready to go, and you just push that button and say, All right, you don't need to do anything for story purposes, you get to just go masterpiece. In-ring bell to bell masterpiece. We get it almost every time. Uh uh, it was a beautiful piece of work. Just just beautiful. Um, and now we're gonna get I'm I'm getting , well, did they already make Seth and Braun for backlash? Not yet, but I I you have to think that that's where that's where we're going to go . So we're getting, so Jacob, we'll get the answer on Monday . But Jacob and Roman is backlash done. They did it, they announced it? I know he is . No, no, no, no, but I mean We know that's gonna happen. Can't see a way in which it doesn't happen. Yeah, I can't either. Um Cody . We have to figure out what's happening with his eye. Because it felt very like relinquish the title vibes to me. No, really? The way he like when he came out and Punk cut this promo about like, you know, you never know when a title opportunity is gonna fall out the sky and Punk is looking at his title like listen man i i might be the next friend to turn on you you know i might be 2027's betrayal last year was cita this year this year was ordered . I might be next year, or you might not be able to compete. And I might just have to put myself in the position to do that now because yeah, punk is done with the tribal chief and that world title , but he's not done with world championships. Looks like. Because he was I in that title, like it is funny, by the way, that that punk this is the this is the wrestling business. The fact that CM Punk lost this one . And I I don't think he's ever I don't know if he's ever been better. No. He was so good in the ring. I can't believe how well he connected on the elbow from the top to the table . He he then in the promo on Monday, he was he has he's in a comfort, like he's just on the mic right now. Uh punch's just rolling, man. He he really it'll be interesting to see where they go. And obviously they teased him and Cody in some way, and we know we want to get there. And now everything's come out. I mean, uh Paul Heyman said this in a really fun interview with his son. I don't know if you saw that SGG. I did. I saw the clip. But Paul came out and said it was supposed to be Seth and Roman and Punk and Cody . So it's out there . We know that now . Um, giving his son Jacob the big exclusive. By the way, great job by young Jacob, who's just 22. Can't believe he's 22 already, by the way. That's crazy. Yeah, that's swapped. Um But you know, be given that he said it, now we that's what it was supposed to be. So we will get to Cody and and Punk at some point. It's just a matter of when. Um , what else are we leaving out from what have we not hit from night one? I'm gonna hit two from night one. Um we hit the first two, we hit the Becky, we hit the Seth and Gunther, we hit the main, we're missing one event Honestly, I'm not sure and I feel so bad I'm disrespecting these is it 's the page the page return. Yeah, the tag team. The women's tag . Now now but keep in mind some some idiot, we don't know who managed to botch the return of page and and leak it. And the jokes on and the joke's on them because, guess what? The pop was still crazy anyway . Yeah, it I cannot I cannot believe that at this stage in the game there's still people who would leak something like that . That she's coming back and the spot that she's coming back in and what she's there to do like people are the worst bro yeah I hope I doubt it but I hope these people are at least getting paid for this like yo I got something for you but I'ma need I'ma need like 20 G's if I give you this set to yeah right but if I slide you if I slide you this post it with this information on it that you're gonna wanna know. And you're gonna wanna be first. I'm gonna need. Oh yeah. Sean Ross. Sean Ross. I'm gonna need 20. Or Meltzer Alvarez, they're writing checks for 20 grand to get a tip. This was this was a 50 grand tip. 20 is the the steal. Twenty is the twenty is the low, low price. And the sad part is that people are just a mark a doodle-doo. They did it for free. Who just wants to tell someone they know something. And thank goodness, you know, the the moment was still awesome anyway. I I listen, I know it's a very busy show. Feels like they could have found time to maybe have Paige and Breed do something besides just be seen sitting front row. Um, but I guess we'll get to that next week. Yeah. I guess we'll pick up to the title. Because obviously so many fun different ways to go with Nikki now being left out, and Bree gets her first tag team title win. Remember, there were no women's tag titles. No, I know. So now Bree is tag team champion with Paige and Nikki's there smiling. That's like, all right, cool. Um, I was alerted to this. I I I I I almost couldn't believe it. So I'm hoping the person who told me about it overstated it . A take from coach. I love coach. You know, coach, a lot of people go after coach. He's he's a villain in the eyes of many in the uh uh in the wrestling internet So let's let's but I uh and I love coach. Help help is part of the reason I ended up at WWE. Made it played a major part by bringing me in that day. But I heard there was a take from coach that was appalling. Zach run the clip. Now I will say the one thing that I absolutely hated because of where they put it in the card and I'm just not a fan. I don't like it. I I don't get it. Is the Dan House of nonsense? And they put it right between Rhea and Jade and before the main event that I was starving for. And I was like, I don't need the seven or eight minutes with midgets and Danhausen and Miz and Cena did the best that they could. But Dave, I hope they didn't sign into a long-term contract because that gimmick is going to get real old, real fast in my opinion . That is a terrible I mean they're bad this isn't just I wanna be I go I love you coach. I love you coach. I am not the internet wrestling community. I am not, even though, even though I'm certainly a snowflake in some regards, I am not the kind of person who just beats people up because they have a take that's opposite the internet. Okay Childish mob mentality ever. That being said, holy shit, that was a horrible take. Oh my you hope it was a long-term contract. Not a long-term contract. Danhausen is going to be cleaning up for merch with this company for as long as he is able to do anything. I you I just I think the most important part that coach said , and I'm not saying this is a disc because everyone has different tastes, is that you don't get it. Yeah. But it's it's literally. I will make the case. How about this? Here's my response . I think Danhausen, and I know, and yes, I'm being a bit of a victim of the moment, but I've been around this thing now in a pretty close way from inner with the from the interview standpoint, et cetera, close to 20 years. I have seen a lot of people come and go . I think Dan Housen could go on to be the greatest comedy act in wrestling history. How about that? I think this SGG, he has layers as as as someone said to him. Who said it to him this week? I don't remember who said it. He's not just wrestling funny. Danhausen is legitimately comedic, laugh out loud, funny. Like he just is. SGG, it's not like you were some big Danhausen guy watching him on the indies or seeing him every oh well he wasn't AEW every week because he made very clear in my interview with him but but but y it's not like either of us were like oh my god we need Danhausen. I believe every moment, with the exception of the first one, which was weird, and we weren't quite sure how to process it, because he didn't quite know where it was going yet. I believe every moment since then, SGG, he's been comedy gold. Yeah. And it's easy to say that you know, oh, this is because of the WWE razzle dazzle. I think the big thing they did for him, the two big things is the music, and they didn't say, Listen , yeah, you need to wrestle all the time . They let him be the E. We, you know, they they took over the world, they got their wrestling guys and they need they need people for that E. And Dan Housen is big for that E, that entertainment. Because like we, you know, we talked about the ads and and what you get in the arena when the ads are showing you know he's a he's a great commercial break act oh my god in these stadiums every week he doesn't need the the bell doesn't need to ring but also SGG , I also had no problem with the spot they used him in. Like yes, I was ready for the main event, but it was literally a moment where you have two choices. You could go grab a drink if you want, take a break, or you can sit in here and laugh for the next five minutes. It seems like the whole stadium decided to sit and laugh because Danhausen's on fire. But then he comes out. I thought the when he pointed to John Cena and then just goes up and does like, hey Dan, how's it nice to meet you? And and and and John shakes his hand. John could barely keep it together. That is a guy in John Cena who's been in attempted funny wrestling bits more times than anyone could count. And he could not not just wrestling Oscars also. Like oh yeah he was the man was naked at the Oscars for Christ. Spees he's he's he's the guy that people drop it on these comedy bits all the time. Yeah, Cena knows a th ing or two about comedic timing . First of all, Cena was legitimately cracking up. Second of all, Cena goes on and posts it a picture with him and Danhausen on his social media to say, so glad we could update our pick. See the one of that the Dan Houser rub too. He wasn't just us. And I and and not to just put over this show, coach, but if you get a minute, go on YouTube and watch my interview with him from last week. He is funny and informative the whole time. He gives a real interview while being funny and in character the entire time. And and not only that, he's a he's 35 years old. He's got two kids and a wife. He's worked his way here through. This is why I Danhausen is everything I love about wrestling. It is novelty. It is funny. It is a reminder for the people out there who don't know what our fan base is like, who foolishly conf uses our fan base with being like a fight fan base? That we are much closer to like an improv SNL comic book fan base. That's who Danhausen is. He he is the he is the entertaining funny smart spirit that has always been a part of wrestling and just does it so well. So I love Coach. I'm not angry at him. It was legitimately one of the worst wrestling takes I've ever heard said into a microphone. And I truly believe that if coach, I believe in two months, he will amend this take and go, I got it wrong. Because it's not , it's not just me saying it. Yeah. Dude, Natalie Natalie hadn't even really seen him yet. And she was busy this weekend. She didn't see much of the show. But then she ended up seeing my posts going on . And by yesterday , everything she was saying to me had housen after it . Where's the cheese housing? Like calling Maya, where's our little friend housing? Like just I I shouts to Dan Houser, man. Shout out to that guy. So so cool. And can I say one more thing about the way he was used on Sunday? And it you you touched on it too, but it is the perfect spot. It was the perfect place to do that, right? Eddie Guerrero, there's a per there's a great Eddie Guerrero story, and I forget who he was in the match with. I wish I could remember. But they talk about how some match before them was hot, like the crowd was hot, and Eddie Guerrero put him in a head lock and literally brought the crowd down so that they can do what they needed to do for their match without it being like just breaking up the monotony from the previous match to their match. That's what you want to do. You want a palette cleanse right before the main event. That's it. You need that because the main event, this is the show. This is the part that everybody came to see. And it was a great main event. It wasn't brought down by Danhausen, but you got the palate cleansed so that people could enjoy everything they got from Roman Reigns and CM Punk. Which SGG was serious drama. Yes. So you knew Punk and Reigns was serious drama with a legitimate, clean finish. It was the perfect spot to have the fun, wacky Michig as right before it. Because right after it, they're hitting you with no, we're gonna do this. Is the serious stuff, this is the pageantry, this is the big entrances, and this is just a one-two-three match. So I think when you look back at it, it was brilliant use. And also, man , have we ever I've A, have we ever seen a turnaround this quickly in history from debut to where that person is two months later? I don't know if we've ever seen it. I don't think think I it was faster than two months. Well, it was two weeks. No, it was two weeks. I'm just jumping out of mania, because anyway, it's six weeks ago that he showed up. At Elimination Chamber, he debuted, guys. Elimination Chamber is the last PLE before WrestleMania. Danhausen debuted somewhat awkwardly at the elimination chamber. By WrestleMania , when we see the final merch numbers, there is no question he will be a top five merch seller, if not higher. No case. He's doing he's doing this without action figures, guys. He's doing this without hats. He's doing this without pens without little snap bracelets, little binders, posters. But don't get it twisted. They do they got them shirts. They got them shirts, though. They got the mask. The map yo, S G G at the merch stand on the floor, which was cool. They had a merch they had a merch stand in Vegas like out on the floor right near the seats. Yeah. Oh, that Dan House of Mask is right there. Bro, when he get when he gets those action figures, because that's the thing. They have three tiers of action figures. And then they have the LJNs and then they have the different trucks and all when he gets the action figures . He is out of here. No, it's gonna be he's out of here . Don't put him on a card. Don't have him signing cards. My favorite part of the interview is when I said and and what was your wife doing? Burisk he invented a brilliant character. Alright, got a break. I got a break. Zach's yelling at me. Taking one break. Here's the question. you If want to participate in the show, eight seven seven three four four four eight nine three. We're gonna rapid fire quick. And I mean the nighttime shows were forget about it. Yeah. The 430. I'm in the I'm in the fourth row towards the middle . I th I can handle it. I think I can handle it. I you know you lean back in those seats. Like and and it's just going to be a concert. It's not going to be like it's that's exactly what that's exactly what I'm expecting. Yeah, so it's not like it's gonna be like an action movie where you can't take everything that's coming in from you know, so close. I'm hoping that because it's just like concert footage, I just wanna hear it and see it well. Yeah.. That it works But I I I have to admit, I have high hopes. I I just all I'm looking for is like the feels in the movie, like that they do a good job with like the creation of those songs. So then when you hear them like get played and he does them at the concert, like everyone just goes crazy and it feels awesome. That's all I'm looking for. I feel like they had to. They that that they cannot mess up. I mean they could, but I hope they didn't. Because listen, we know what you're not doing. Telling the truth. So can you do me the favor and just get me the the most entertaining version possible? 'Cause whatever version they give us of Joe Jackson, it ain't gonna be the true real version of Joe Jackson. Listen, we have the Jacksons, The American Dream. It's not a documentary, but it was like a five-part mini-series from back in the day. That can live and breathe and be its own thing , but this can be like you said, the concert reenactment footage of just him being great in the eighties. That's gonna that's basically what it seems like it's gonna be. And that the I I'm just curious for how good the kid Jafar will be because the clips I've seen, he looks pretty good. Alrig,ht I also mentioned Raw going to the break. I took no uh pleasure when I started getting tweets from people on Monday night as I was flying back going, Oh my god, you were right about EO Sky . First of all, I wasn't talking about EOSky specifically. Yes, it was that moment in which I was worried about EOSky. I meant my concern about dives in general . Then when I got back and saw EO's uh dive on Monday, I just it SGG, it was even worse than the week before. Yeah. Yeah. It was that it was way worse than the one that you commented on. And thankfully, she finished the match as she walked no problem . We hope every dive ends like that where she can do what she needs to do with no problems. Everybody. Everybody who takes a dive. I but but I'm telling you, if for anybody out there, you cannot land that way on any s with any sort of regularity. You can't. And if that's on the table in a real way ? Like you shouldn't do it. In fact, I I'm just having this thought now, SGG. I think one of the reasons I ended up making fun, this isn't early days probably of you joining the podcast, but you'll remember it. I think one of the reasons I used to sort of tease Daniel Bryan, which I know is hilarious because he's one of the greatest ever, but I think one of the reasons I would tease Daniel Bryan about the dive and call it a flying push is because he started to do it more safely. Yeah. And so he would he made sure that his dive, rather than being a missile down , was really him kind of flying up into the person. For that I'm so curious. And then lands on his feet. And then he lands on his feet. And then he lands on his feet. I want to ask him that. I I I'm very curious. Because I I feel like there was a notable change from the way he did it . And and and anyways, uh please just everyone be I I know it was easy to clown me for that, and everyone has fun again. Internet group think Rosenberg's an idiot, don't tell people what to do. Bro, I can't even tell you how many dives were at WrestleMania. I can tell you one thing, though. No one gave a shit when they happened. That's what I can tell you. No one in the crowd went, ooh, dive. Nope. That didn't happen. I can tell you the spots when they oooed an odd. SUG I don't think one of them was a regular traditional dive. Not one. Not one. So please be safe. And I will say this: yes, definitely please be safe. We don't want to see anybody be injured. In fact, we we rang the alarm bells because we want them to continue to do this safely. Um or not do it at all. Yes. Um yeah when you brought up Raw, I thought you were gonna go straight to the closing seg ment, and what I listen, wrestling fans, and I'm guilty of this also, and I'm about to be guilty of it again momentar ily. We do this thing where something happens and we're like, okay, and this is where it belongs in the annals . Greatest of all time, best ever I believe Jacob Fatou's promo , where he laid down the challenge and his reasons why, because he he needs that title so his kids can get the big house and go to the good schools and he can take care of his family . That was his hard times. And if we don't take that promo and make sure that we set it next to the great promos from the greatest wrestlers of all time ever. We have failed Jacob. We have failed Jacob Fattoo because we've seen people long take SGG. We have seen people challenge for titles thousands of times, and hardly ever has it been so grounded in reality as something that you can feel and you can sink your teeth into as I love my family. I love you . But I I need to take care of my mind with this, and that's how we do it . And Maya's about to put her ones up. Maya, ones up?ot N na you can't force her to do it. Maya, you want to put your ones up? Listen, if that's how we get it done, we've gotta get it done. SUG was a great, it was a really great promo by Jacob. I don't want that title. I need that title. No, it was fire. All right, we're we're almost out of time. Let's go to Chris real quick. Um Seth Gunther. What do you got, Chris? Hey guys, thanks for having me on. Happy Friday to you. You too . So here's kind of the issue I have with Rollins Gunther. You know, a as a wrestling fan I like AWWB, I like the entertainment, I like the in ring stuff. So I think you said it Rosenberg before WrestleMania, you said, Hey, this match is for the sickos for lack of a better word, the real wrestling fans, right? So I was expecting Bell to Bell to get something approaching like a a a four or five -star classic match, right? With with no BS involved. So what do they do? They start throwing chairs at ringside before the bell rings, like they've been feuding for months and it's a blood feud. And then what happens? Braun Breaker, who if he's clear, why isn't he wrestling set at WrestleMania, but that's another story, he interferes in the match. So so to me it just it took away what that match was supposed to do. Like that was the one match that I was hoping would just be I could watch it bell to bell five years from now and just say that was a great match. Instead, I I don't know what they were thinking. I I'm sorry. Well you wa you watched it you watched it home, right, Chris. What? You watched it you watched it home, right Chr, is? Uh yes, sir. Yeah. Yeah, no, I'm just asking because uh the good call. Thank you, man. We appreciate it. Um I hear you. If Braun was cleared, there is a conversation about well then why didn't we just make the match like a week out and they do it. I hear you. Fair point. Um I guess for some reason that wasn't possible. Um I I was in the building. In the building and again this doesn't mean that you're wrong about your take on TV, though I don't agree with his overall assessment of it. Um in the building, man, the way the the that crowd went on a journey through that match, it to me I walked away and was like, well, that's a classic. Um literally, I'm just listening to the crowd. The oh , down , up, down. It was just really awesome. I hear the what you're putting together uh for that criticism, but I yeah, I just didn't Way that's really interesting. I thought it was a match that siccos, for lack of a better word, would love. Maya, do you want to Maya? How old are you? Maya, how old are you? Put your ones up . I'm working on this Roman Reigns 1. She's not doing it today. Guys,
