S cate Candy rarapper screamy baby sticky ses with fifty asard popper kerdles in his teeth There still not one that he won't see a love movie Hey, hey, hey everybody. My name is Doug still love movies This is Doug Lo's movies recording on Wednesday afternoon, june seventeenth, twenty twenty six. the day before I start my three night engagement at the Funny Bone in St. Louis This right now is a very special episode with What was going to be two returning champs going head to head. U, but one of them was replaced and maybe you'll figure it out as I say it My guest today R Jeff Tate and Troy Tate. Hello gentlemen Wh are U Sam Levine was going to join us today, but he had for personal reasons, he had to back out and I thought, well, I was going to have this special one on one you know, Jeff and Sam going head to head finally settle once and for all Who's better even though they've gone head to head before in the past, but it's always it's always fun to u to bring it back again and especially since He won on last week's show. It's Jeff Tate. Hey, Jeff Hello, hi Doug Hi, Tro Troy is it Yeah, it's Troy.. Your boy Troy. The easiest last minute booking who is also you know, maybe not Sam Levine level, but at least alsoso being a tate, I don't feel like it's Cpletely unfair put the two of you up against each other I have a question for you, Jeff, before we talk to your brother U I know you're the type of person who will see a movie, you know, multiple times while it's playing in theaters But as that window closes, that becomes harder to do because The movies aren't in theaters for so long anymore You know, unless it's a huge blockbuster and then even then it's probably only there for like three months So my question to you is What is the most recent movie you saw? more than once. on the big screen Okay, it is u Michael Okay, and how surprise did you see Michael So two times, but it's because Claudius Claudius' boy is loving Like they've seen it four times Why do you think they like it so much They like the songs Yeah. There's a lot of the songs are in it. The music's good. There's lots of other places they can check out the music. Dam must M. Dam justm really love origin story with a lot of holes in it Yeah, well, they don't know about h and I'm just trying very hard to keep them liking going to the theater Well, you know, they are they've announced that they are going to go ahead and make a sequel. ' a lot of it A lot of it's going to be footage there al be shot that you know, Fouquis Antoine Fouquis wanted the movie to be and then, you know He got talked to taking a bunch of stuff out Um, so I don't know if that if the second movie is just going to be super bleak and courtroomy or what's gonna What it is they think the story they're going to tell I was just I don't know if I'm going to take them to see the second one I was disappointed that u, you know, that they didn't get really get to the the bad album, the song bad and that album Be ye For some reason, that was when I hit my peak, Michael Jackson Enjoyment of his music is around the time of that album And of course his video is hilarious where he's, you know, trying so hard to be a tough guy directed by Mart Saris I hope I hope the I hope the sequel focuses heavily on u Those two white dudes in his dance grouw when he went and met with the Boods and the cris to make the beata video Yes. I would like to see how that day played out for those two fas. Yeah, that wouldd be interesting U But that was a that was a surprising answer. I didn't not expect you to say Michael, but it was and also it's only two because there's just not that much time. Even with Michael, time must be running out. It must leave theatater sometime in the next couple of weeks, right Yeah, I mean, it's already available to ur The last movie I saw on my own volation multiple times was the Nice Gu Al that four or five times. Yeah, but that was also years ago Yeah, yeah, it's fucking ten years ago, man Yikes They have Well, let's say hello to the man who is filling in today. U, but not always for Sam Levine. He's got his own life, this guy. And his name was Troy Tate. Hey Troy Hey, Dg. it's That's some big shoes I got to fill today So well, small big shoes Smaring she's been guys eight big shoes I am whatever size he is. I'd be just guessing I wasn't I wasn't going to take a stab at it. No, that's fair. He's probably going listen to this episode. so I'm surprised up stoped dogging him But yeah, I'm going to try to make them proud. so And I was, you know, this is an example of I was going to show that Jeff likes to see movies in the theater a bunch of times and that Sam is a snob and probably doesn't But we didn't get we're not going to get that answer out of him, but what was The last movie you saw more than once during its theatrical run Troy Yeah know, it was u Gun Maverick I was even gonna guess that Maverick would be one that Jeff saw several times The only one I got it time Jeff Yeah, I Al always thought the one time. Did you like it? You lik it? I didn't Yeah Not as much as your brother Yeah betterare thanough H,' a two timer and It was like a deal of the day or something for a five dollars ticket. so I went back and saw it again There you go. That makes a lot of sense. I of course You know, since I'm constantly trying to keep up with all the new movies, I really generally don't see movies more than once on the big screen unless it's like years later, you know at a repertory theater or something. If it's a revival house, obviously I'll see something on the big screen again. or forogus. You'll go see Michael when Jo makes the circuit of the Michaels when they show that on a double bill with The whiz. Penomena Oh that need that be really clever Let go with the movie and it's not called Michael, but does Star. Dct Travalta Pllease Michael. as deep I saw sinners in one Battle afternoon I there multiple times in screenings because I got invited to you know, award consideration screenings and I like both of those movies enough especially sinners to see them in, you know, I got to see them in multiple formats by going to multiple screenings because both those movies came out in so many different versions And but the last time I paid to see a movie twice and again, I'm a member of the A list AMC thing. so I could see up to four movies a week and so you know, just feels like Most of the movies I see are for free because You know, after like the first two movies in any given month pass is paid for itself and u But last summer I saw Superman twice It's good. that. I think I saw it the second time because it was like, you know, about to leave theaters and I was just like, you know, I'll watch this on cable or whatever on. streaming, but I would like to see it one more time on the big screen and I'm u I have very positive feelings about this Supergirl movie. I feel like, you know based on what I know so far, I might like it even more than I like Superman It looks good. It looks like it's got a personality. Yes. Eactly. And that's going to, you know, that's going to piss off some idiots who, you know have decided to make these superheroes uh such a, you know, political thing evenven though it's funny that I'm calling it a political thing because hasasn't Fighting injustice always been political Yeah, yeah, just like superheroes itally There hasn't been so many people against it until now Yeah No, it's very strange Like why, you know, just the whole backlash to the last Superman? Like why is he helping people All right. U We' a real libertarian stance before we get to the games today U to determine exactly who is the best Dglas' movies gameplayer in history See I should have changed that Yeah. Let's visit Recommendation station. That's where we make one stop to recommend one movie Jeff, go Dropead Gorgeous. I just did it on my podcast and I'd never seen it before And it was so funny for your show Yeah and you loved it I loved it Now Did it just get lost in a shuffle of time for being too similar to miscongeniality. Is that what happened? I just don't it was, you know, ninety nine was a bit of a blur for me and there was a lot coming out If you asked how many movies have you seen more than once in nineteen ninety nine, I'd have a long list. but I just missed this one somehow and never Like I don't even think I knew about it of thought it was like I think I would get it confused with a Bta Portet Really? Yeah, they because because that was like it was just like I was reaching back in my memory for it and they both feel like nineties fashion show Yeah. But Drop Dead Gorgeous is a beauty pageant though, right Yeah, yeah, but I didn't know until I watched that And then like There wasn't a lot of mockumentaries yet. like G waiting for Gofnment to I'm out like a year or two before, but it's final tap. but The whole thing was Gorgeous is supposed to be a look like a documentary Yeah, yeah. Yeah. I mean, it is it's a straight like it is made like a documentary as if it Wow, I haven't seen it in a second. I didn't remember that that's out. but it's like Krirsty Ally's in it Yeah, Kzy Alley, Kon Duance, Pretty Murphy I know The lady who saved Silverman and saving Silverman other people, lots of lotots of people you recognize Will Sass I was in it I know we'll say so. He's in a commercial for one of the podcasts that he' on that plays on Pluto constantly. It's one of the worst produced commercials I've ever seen and it's been playing may nonstop for years I only get the Brendon Schaab one That's what I'm saying isassso's in that There's there's a sequence in it where he's like You're gonna use that boxing you've been learning to do Like, you know, which is, you know, the context it was probably funny, but in the commercial it's just like What's he even talking about? you know? And the whole commercial is like that. it's all just like peopleeople saying things like, well, you know me and I'm blah, blah, blah. I was like with this ad Most people are finding out about you for the first time Starting with, well, you know me and now I am. Most people are finding out that there's ads of All right, drop dead gorgeous. I, you know, I feel like I Watched it again recently, but then I also feel like, well how good a job did I do if I didn't notice that it was documentary style. Maybe you're thinking of Preda Porte. Is William Shatner in it No, no, no, that's misceniality. Okay, all right. All right. Yeah, I really do I think get those two mixed up quite a bit All right, Troy, what have you got for us I just lost Wake up deadman The u That latest nice outut movie Yeah Oh Yeah, so yeah It's not that old. I'm a little late to the pority as usual, but I really enjoyed it. Really It might be my favorite of those three movies. Well, I don't think it's ever too late to bring up this movie because it was kind of strangely over. I think part of it is that The whole thing of you know, the whole Netflix thing movie that big just, you know, is in theaters for a week or two and then is on Netflix Yeah just makes it feel like it didn't even happen, even though I agree with you. I think it might be the best in this series Yeah, they give it there's no urgency at the beginning And then Yeah, I remember anticipating it But then I don't know why I didn't watch it. They came out right around Christmas oratever so I was probably just busy every day Anna Oh I'm glad I finally got around to it goodood mystery and real twenty two, that Star Wars joke you put in there. Top notch Yeah, it's really, I really I think Josh O'Connor is a great leading man. I thought It ye Balsy to have the story kind of be more focused on on him, like, you know, u The detective is more of a supporting character in this one than the previous two I like that. He's a great character and reallyidley held his own in that big pass with a lot of heavy hitters Yeah Very extremely intimidating Josh Brolin in there. was ye It was good U All right. well I'm just going to have to say I like to kind of throw in my own, you know, put my thumb on the scale, if you will after the recommendations And I'll tell you, in this case, I Prob I'm gonna I'm going take another look at both of those. We're look at Ded Gorgeous again to see if, you know, I've been wrong all this time and it's better than I thought it was And I'm going to watch Wake up Deadman again Now Chroy's going to be thinking maybe it's not as great as I thought it was I think it's better than you think it is. No better than you remember I love All right, we're gonna be back with some games after these messages Today's episode is brought to you in part by Shopify. Our first game today is a timely one And I wanted to play this game. with Sam because He of course introduced me to the great Leonard Malton who now by my count is the last remaining famous movie critic because last week We lost Gean Shallot. Did you guys even How much awareness did you even have of Gene Shaock? Because he hasn't reviewed a movie He must have been retired. He's one hundred years old. He died at one hundred And I think he retired like in his seventies So have you are you even I'll start with you, Jeff. Are you familiar with Gean Chhallot I could draw him. Right? You know you know the crazy mustache and you might know might know him more from like Like somebody like David Letterman was always having him on for bits and stuff because he was in New York That's I mean, it's probably Bnderman, ye Yeah, right Um, but you don't remember like you never saw like one of his quote unquote reviews Was it on the Today showh? Yeah Yeah, ye Yeah. It was Critics Cner He would he would, you know, because it's a short segment, you just get to the point, but you get to the point, you know with silly puns and stuff Like he was really into wordplay. And I like looked up like, well, let's see what some of his more known quotes are. And they're almost one hundred percent terrible Terrible pawns terrible commentary on the movie he's talking about. just it's awful. And I think that like You know, we put up with more dumb shit at the time. so he's not remembered He' remembered more for the mustache then for how stupid his reviews were U But he was he was a he was a fan of movies and clearly had fun being a critic. He was more into books, I think. He like reviewed books as well. but u So I put together this little game called U RIP Je shallot And in this game, I'm gonna tell you something that he said about a movie and you have to try to guess what movie he was talking about And I'll start I'll do the first one for Jeff Jeff doesn't get it then Troy gets a shot at him you get it. Nobody gets a point for that round and the first person to get two points are most out of five be The winner Ready Yeah . Jeff. what movie do you think he said? about I'm going to go ahead and be more specific one he was talking about He's talking about an actor in this movie A what movie do you think bght him to say the words Bastic, elastic Iiconoclastic. What actor, what movie Uh, what movie? The mask. Incorrect, Troy. I was thinking along the same lines as you sow. how about Ace Ventura detective Well, you have to remember first of all say he, and then I'll say The Aid holder was very much disliked by the critical body Okay. Is that a good review? Well, I think it sounds positive. Iconoclastic. I don't think he would say about something he thinks sucks But, uh You're both on the right track though, because it is a Jim Crey movie. He said that in his review of liar, liar All right. Yeah Because by that point, Jim had managed to figure out a little bit how to steer it a little bit more towards not being, you know, hated by uh intelligent people Um Although I think I bet most critics like them mask too though now that I think about it All right, so nobody got that one, but Plenty more to go Jeff What movie was he talking about when he said Brilliant toological humor My God Brilliant logical Human n goodness. I don't even know how he pronounnce this word humonggousness. of H Marvelocity. All right, let me say the whole thing again. A brival it of logical hu humongousness of Mar velocity Ohold the suck All Star Wars No. H Before T answers, I just want to say that part of the reason part of the strategy behind this game, the prep of this game, was how mad it makes Sam when he when it's just something where there's a million possible answers You know what I mean? He doesn't like where you just have to take a wild guess. He likes he likes trivia that's You know it or you don't know it and you know, and it's Not insanely difficult. Okay, butroy, do you have a guess Yeah Yeahah, I was gonna to guess Star Wars So of out of the one billion guesses possible How about the parrikes backag No Sorry, this was for the two thousand five version Peter Jackson's King Kong O Yeah. so I think he was kind of trying to pond to the largeness of the effects and the monsters, which I'll never When King Kong comes up, I never get over the fact that the entire movie everybody's like, that look at that gigantic monkey. We got to take that gigantic monkey to New York. People have to see this gigantic monkey and they're saying all this while being attacked by giant prehistoric bugs Like nobody would be interested in those Right. L noody would care that we had to fight giant bugs to get this giant monkey U All right scale of that movie. it is brilliant loological humongousness Now that you say that sounds like the way they would like in that old time, like the way that they talk like ' it was a hundred years ago or whatever. Like that's how they would advertise the show. like you guy off front barking. No, that's how they'd advertise King Kong's appearance in a Broadway theater. There's no door big enough for the fucking monkey to even get in the building But do you know how they got the mony to Broadway? No All right, round three. you guys are doing great First What movie do you think he said G Don't forego. Argo Exactly. That was his review of Fargo. D Fargo Fargo. Of course, he's a muppet. He looks like a muppet. Yeah, he really does. He's so muppety All right, here's one for you, Troy There's no bones about it No bones about it. Yeah, There's no bones about it. I feel like it's either too on the nose. The bone collector Oh no Chef for the win It's a little too whimsical to be the lovely bones. Is that your guess? Is that your guess N Yeah. so loveovely bones is my guess. final answer. Lovely bones. So he was not he was not afraid to be whimsical about a movie featuring child abduction and all sorts of horriless That was his that's what he said while reviewing the lovely bones You. Oh my God Yeah. So that's how nutty it is. Hilarious. L bones first. Hilarious. Yeah. And now we just all have to imagine howam how mad Sam would be that you won that game with that stuff. But here's another one, Jeff that u Now that I'm looking at it, I think you this one you might know Let's see So He says about a character in a movie He even sings in the bowling alley Better me Andnt Is it the big Lastity I don't think anybody sings in that movie. No, but you know who does sing in a bowling alley? Jeff Bridges in Crazy Heart. I got Yeah Oh my go. You're right the fest you could get without getting it Another J is bowling movie U That's just like That movie crazy hard. Everybody loved that movie, I thought. And it sounds like he's just He's just saying something negative about it just just to have a dumb pun about Sar me. He was all he was bummed out. they found the kid. I still go back and watch the scene where the kid disappears. that could happen to any person. You don't have to be a drunk who's not paying attention at the bar Kid It's a magic act that kid how fast he disappears. Yeah, he took off. It'' his f. Fucking takes off. L it could have been anywhere They could have been anywhere else at the mall Just so happens he was at a bar trying to get his drink on Give the guy a break All right, Jeff You're our winner so far, but we're going to see if you can keep this momentum going When you go first in our next game to this break, we'll be right back back at dinosaur story and in honor of, as I mentioned earlier, the last living famous film critics. Bea they just aren't any anymore. Richard Roper, I guess. re pretty well known guy from B Manowitz from TMC. peopleople sort of know him But can you guys name do you know any other film critics by like if you saw their face N It's just not a thing anymore. TV TV film critics just went by the wayside. We just have raw tomatoes and just a ton of critics who, you know, just, you know, are get to P their reviews on raw tomatoes because they have a blog or something. All right But anyway, this is all A long winded way of saying that's special just for today back the Leonard Malton cameame Oh yeah Yes And that is why that's what I was hinting at when it comes to last minute replacing of Sam I'm like I'm like trying to think of guests who would even know the rules well enough u to be able to go up against Jeff without me having to u explain everything. And if you're a regular listener to the show but you started after the Lonter Mulan game was a thing to Maybe go back and you know, listen to some old ones where I explain the rules if you find this confusing, but Hopefully The people that aren't aware of it can just play alongs so I don't want to take the time to explain it I will give you three categories to choose from, Jeff And you will pick one And then, uh We will play in the first person to three points. will be our winner today Which category would you like to play, Jeff between these three choices And I'm not going to tell you what the category you know, what the title means This is like how they do this on hundred thousand dollars pyramid Or is it the two hundred fifty thousand dollars pyramid? When's it going I think it's back to one hundred. When's it going to be the billion million to do the two hundred and fifty dollarars pyramid Is she really There's that doctor Drery skit on the Chronic but twenty dollars sack pyramid. Oh That's right Okay, Jeff, here are your options. Would you like to play a category called Tom Tom Club? or It's a wonderful lie or Your third option is Mmm. Give me that THC. B Look, just in case has something to do with Tom Petty. I'm going to take to Tom Tom Club doesn't have anything to do with Tom Petty. Oh no. These are the movies These are movies with Tom Cruise or Tom Hardy Oh Yeah Either Tom Cruise or Tom Hardy. I don't believe they've been in a movie together But I don't believe in a lot of things twenty twelve is the year of this movie that's got Tom Cruiser Time already in it Leonard gives it two and a half stars. He says about the film that it features an actress Beauty and wardrobe are distracting And he also calls the movie that turns ridiculous. and exciting This this that describes every Tom Cruise movie S sad Eddie Dames, ten actors. How many actors names you need to figure out which movie this is, Jeff. B Tan actors, twenty twelve, one of the Toms I will say Th I need three actors. All right, so you're going to get three names reading from the bottom Unless Oh Troy wants to bid lower Oh I don't know This is my very first introduction to the Lter Malden game This was any fake Um I mean, I yeah, I'm going to I'm going to say name I'm play you played amateur versions out of it, but this is your first pro Totally, totally. P attempt h He's saying name it Jeff All right. You get three names Here they are These are the tenth, ninth and eighth build people in this movie that has Tom Cruis or Tom Hardy in it And their names are Alexia fast Michael Raymond James and Joseph Sakora No man, Troy, you're gonna be so bummed Why It's Jack Reacher How do you know that Because u A because it's Jack Reacer. and B. I actually know Michael Raymond James You know it personally Yeah, yeah. He's Oh Yeah he's friends with Aquaman and so like The times that Tom and like the times that Sagura and Mamoa were together Sigur and Maboa get together and makes Samosas They they make some bs, then I get to hang out then the tag alongs hang out together. U And that's the only movie that guy's been in with Tom Cruise that you're aware of Yeah, yeah It twenty twelve, one of those two, it was like if it wasn't Jack Reachard, I was gonna say Jack Reachard, no matter what was Yeah, which I mean, and I know that's your go to. So I was I was excited that you bid so low because I thought I really thought Troy would would have a shot at this because, you know, I thought you'd find those lower names to be The fourth name is Ji Courtney. Then it starts getting into Ohh well, of course, it's Jack, you know, we're in her hurt s on Robert Duvall I mean, those names really really started giving it away Um, But anyway You got it Jeff's on the board. with one And how do I say we're going to play into three points? So you're still in this I'm feeling good Yeah. And now I'm forgetting how did I used to do it? Like did the person who the person who wasn't part of the challenge got to go next when we play three players So I gu two players we should just let Troy should just get to pick the next category Yeah, yeah. That makes sense. Yeah Makes sense to me Okay So Would you like The aforementioned, it's a wonderful lie O Give me that THC. O her Title is G all titalist Which one of those do you like? I gotta say I like give you that THC d I' need It's such a great I'm not much of a goler so. obbviously U give me that THC is Films featuring Thomas Hayden Church Biness Troy here is twenty twelve Leonard gives this film three stars And he lists five Cheers slash actresses who appear in the film And he says that is violent. sexual. and intense and not for the squeamish or easily offended. How many names What Do you think you need figure out what this is Well year did it come out Ah twenty twelve twenty twelve Yeah U I gonna go they're open go One name. You only need one name Figure this out I was only five, right? I'm as stunned as you are, Jeff I say name I think I got a good idea All right, Jeff says, name it And u Your one name fifth buildill person in this movie is Gina Gersan in pish All right So what is U Is it your reading room? Did your pretty good idea get crushed by I don't I don't know I can't remember for sure. I'm sitting with a green room. Green room is incorrect. You know it's, Jeff No I have no idea It was a it's not Spiderm Man three No in the two slides was Thomas Hayden Church, Thd buildilt Juno Temple th our second build is Emil Hirch And the number one build . and the title character Killer Joe Oh yeah, that movie. Yes, you're right. That mo. Squamish. That movie. Yeah. I understand the review now. It's rough. yeah It's a rough movie we talk about it the better U Jeff is, u continuing to prevail That's another bent All right But Never fear try G. You still have another. Cack Tust. Once again. Y options are And thing about uh Light. It's a wonderful lie. or other options are Idolist I still don't know anything about golf. and Triculate for class The trickia late for class tit list or It's a wonderful lie. Matriculate for class U I was tryed to said that. He, Jeff. That's what I thought Did Jeff, did't we decide that whoever gets the point the other person gets to pick the next? Yeah, no ye Yeah I thought we were just alternating So now now you know which one Jeff wants. let's go with it the trickul late for class. I like it A matriculate for class And this is College movies movies that are set collollege And uh The year is twenty thirteen Leonard gave this movie two and a half stars And he says about this movie calls it amiable And he also says it's thick with plot but pleasant enough to watch plot but pleasant enough to watch And he lists twenty people. W Yeah U how many names do you need What's your opening the day U thirirteen. thirirteen names, please. See that is a much more reasonable bid than that one bid on the last round Thirteen, Jeff Well All right. Eleven nameame it Wha. Oh wow. All right . All right, you get eleven names I'll give you the uh clues again From twenty thirteen twowo and a half stars from Leonard Amiable Sid plot. Pleasant enough to watch. You can get over all that plot thickness because it's so pleasant And Eleven names is that you said Eleven. That's right All right, here are your eleven names reading from the, you know Last cast meory listed all the way up to eleven of the twenty names. So nine people at the top will be left out We're starting with John Ratzenberger No. Bob Peterson. Beth bears Bill Hayater, John Krzinski, Bonnie Hunt Julia Sweinie pllaza Nathan Filon Tyler Lebin and Alfred Molina A bunch of losers Wh. No, pretty amazing cast There's still nine more names Wow. What do you think it is, Troy Oh yeah Um takes place at a college Plac at at college twenty thirteen. Oh Um All right I'm going getess something that's way too old probably. I don't know how long ago twenty thirteen was anymore Is it A Stealing Harvard is that Am I even closer on that one? wonder did that one Um, I don't know, but it didn't have a stacked cast like you know, Oh they Kader and Krzinsky and Arey Plaza and Yeah, I didn't. Yeahah No, what kind of uh Jeff, what kind of movie would have all those people in it U Well the first thing we said was the giveaway. Yeah, right? It's a it's a pixar thing So which which is it the Pigar movie where Andy goes to coll Is it they is the Toy story four? Three, twenty thirty three, I guess would be. backack in that era Well, you know, I wish I could say You were Well, actually, I'm going to say you're wrong, Jeff. and u Sure I was wrong also. But let's play another round though, just for fun U but u Yeah Pixar movie is I believe I could be wrong, the only Pixar movie that takes place at a college And it's Monsters University Oh Monsters University. Yeah You know how they You know when they total up, like actor's box office and there' like Samuel Jackson has twenty billion or whatever John Rratzberger has like forty five billion do No, it's crazy. it's crazy. likeike, you know, he can't really cllaim like like actor and the most, you know, the most money making actor still probably be I think Zoe Salana because she's in She's in Guardians and Avatar and Star Trek Yeah, yeah U You know, and Ratzenberger sometimes will only have like one line in some of the movies and it's all off camera. But still still pretty impressive, just just being in every Pixar movie, and but also it's It's wild that that You know that key clue, Jeff that it's John Ratzbberg. You figured out it was a Pixar movie But you still don't know enough about Click Star movies to know that it was monsters diversity And I think they're u Did they make a TV series version of Moststrers's University? I think that's what happened Or it's like it's like the we sayay by the boat with the college Well this is a, you know, this is a prequel to Monsters Inc and it's it's cute. you know, lots of fun people like Listen to the rest of the people who do voices and Charlie Day, David Foley, Sean Hayes, Joel Mururray Helen Mirin, Steve Bushemi, John Goodman and Billy Crystal Oh man. I should see that one. I haven't seen it It's fun. Like there's just a bunch of cute little monsters running around. like like like I don't know what Leonard meant by Thick on plot. I thought it was like light on plot, but You know, maybe there's too many too many different characters or something for a Leard to keep up. But Yeah, itd also like, it's a prequel So Monster Ininc, did I say that? So like Yeah. I would have the clue would have been amiable prequel uh to Monsters Inc, but um I thought that you know, make it too easy All right, let's do one more troy All right, I'm ready it this time. You get a pick between Oh you weren't ready the other side. Which ones have I said already? It's a wonderful lie O U titleist. Title list Okay That's nice for me to not make me read another new category because I'm saving u, you know, I'm still going to bust this out every once in a while they, you know, just for the fun of it and maybe even like Since Jeff won today, I guess we could just, you know, sometime soon, you know Wrangle Sam and have you uh have you go head tohead But in the meantime Let's play this one real quick Idolist the golf ball. Titles that end with I IST This movie is from two thousand four Leonard gave it three stars. He calls it compelling, weirdly compelling and Beautifully designed And then he names eight. Actors, how many names do you need try figure out what this is I'll start with the eight this time. Yeah, go the full eight. Yeah gsjoy Hey, Jeff Sven and seven All I'll go six I will go five H. All right. I will go four names on this movie Name it Your voices are so similar. It just sounds like a guy is playing against himself We're like it's we're the we're the bad Phil Hndry If I hear full sentences, I can tell the difference, but you know what I mean? If you just say like one word really quick, it's like, U whichich one was that All right, so you just said named it for three names. Troy has Troy gets three names F T trigg is four. Okay P. Well, that's really gonna help All right, here's your four lower build names. U Anna Massey. Ridge E Cfe Larry Gillard and Michael Ironside Michael Ironside, see, I'm glad I got that fourth name. Yeah U it nrows it down to quite a few movies, but two thousand four, I think I think Michael Lrinstein hit his stride earlier like in the nineties And it was what did Leonard have to say about it He says that it is beautifully designed, weirdly compelling Th stars two thousand four and Three out of four stars, right Yeah. That's a pretty solid rating Not bad U, notot bad, right But now do you have it? Have you ever thought of any movies that end in Ist I have a couple. Okay, and Let's try one again All right, I'm thinaking the pianist Oh no, that's not it Jeff Intil you said Michael Ironsteide, I was gonna guess the mist That would be soy. So now I just know I'm wrong But my gess is still the mist.
