I think, you know, it's so the It's a very colorful, vivid movie Yeah, it's true.es they like to say It's fun to look out and listen to It's got both things U yeah, it's the guy boots Riley Yeah boots. It's so fun on social media when somebody has something snarky to say about it, he'll just jump right in defend it and tell people to go see it. Yeah, yeah. he's been doing a lot of retweeting and pro tweeting people who like it also and I'm trying not to take it personally m don't mind don't get quoted. Yeah. why aren't he getting your quote on there? You know, why is he u Why is he relying on more high profile individuals Come on. Come on, boots, takeake it to the streets Um Here's ere's my funny thing about Il love boosters I don't know how funny it is, but I went to a press greeting You know, where it's just end's up being like five or six Pe who write about movies or talk about them a lot in my case. just watching the movie in a screening room in Beverly Hills And u, You know, it's uh They all kind of know each other. theseese people so they kind of all chat with each other even if they're not sitting next to each other, notot during the movie, but you know, before it starts, there's a lot of loud conversations everywhere. But this one guy goes. Oh, and I should also say that this particular screening room is in the basement of a building that also I guess is some sort of hospital or care unit or something like that's going on there. I don't pay a lot of attention to it because its just it's just this random screening room that they have these screenings in sometimes. and and uh But this guy just loudly to everybody in the room before the movie starts goes Does anybody here appreciate the irony that we're about to watch I love boosters in a medical facility It just silenced. Nobody had anything to say. They were just praying the movie would just fucking start. And then it did. So that's the end of that story I don't know no one appreciated the irony. I don't know if the guy knew that the movie is not referring to getting a booster shot. You know what I mean? I don't know if he messed it up or if he just thought that's clever wordpl that he's pretending them thought it was about Anyway Jill, what you got for us? I recently watched a movie on a plane called Sirot Oh my god, I'm a Holy, mooly. What a picture. Wow. It was so good. I don't know if I'd ever watch it again, but it is It'll leave a mark Well just even before the bleakness happens, there's a lot of very thumpy music that's very like I don't know, good for them for enjoying it and dancing too it. but like it's just such a wild thing to watch and listen to. Um, but then it also it just puts you enough on edge that then when stuff starts to really go badly very What an intense bleak ass movie that is. you watch it on a plane, that is really I mean, I was I was rapped, you know, like it was I like watching like movies like that that really need your attention on a plane because you can't really, you know, you can't look your you you can't really wander off. So yeah. well, I could nod off. I do that a lot while I moveie on a plane. ever since they made it so you can just, you know, do all the normal stuff you do on your phone while on a plane. I tend to not watch movies because I can just get a lot of stuff done in my my seat and also give the movie the respect of, you know the big screen. mostost see these days are the ones I actually physically go to Unless I'm watching something, you know older or only available on streaming like this new movie with R Goldstein and Jo I've I've been putting it off What's it called offffice roobot This think about if it was really funny, would it premiere on Netflix? I mean, I guess that was the deal when they made it was that it was for Netflix, but Oh It's just weird to be like, look at this brand new comedy that people are gonna to watch alone or in pairs. you know, and the the great thing about a comedy is watching it, you know, with people, you know. And that reminds me though Think about Jill, think of about that movie Sarat and having experienced the entire thing Can you imagine sitting in a theater where there was one individual Who' laughed? veryer loudly three or four times over the course of that movie I mean I feel like I've been that person once or twice, but I mean he was either he or she was either on something or thought it was a comedy. It was just really pushing to make it happen Well, I thought it was funnish. Yeah. or yeah. so that was a that was another thing that it actually added to the tension, you know, Yeah somebody would Have either of you guys seen this movie, Justin or Jeff I have no I had it. Oh my God. it's a it's It's a great example of I recommend it absolutely If You want to see a movie that you're probably not gonna to be able to shake Right reminded me of life. N for life It reminded me of a lot of come and see Anti war Russian movie. I don't know if you've seen it I don't see that I'd write it down, but I'm not looking for things that remind you o of this movie. I want the darkness to me, okay? I want to be a singular experience that I saw that movie, but I really am gllad that I did, but also it's just so disturbing. Yeah. Okay. Justin So far, we've got fun, plus disturbing. What do you at Well, a little bit of both. I wass going to talk about I love booster. so I'll just second that recommendation and say I really loved send help Oh, okay. Oh yeah I didn't catch in theaters, but you know, it I'm streaming now. and ye Also don't watch that on a plane, probably than you now. it's not there's no exclamation point. is there? Its It's Sent help, no exclamation point I guess to really what you would draw on the sand because if you're wriding it in the sand, you wouldn't be like, Hey, we got to add an exclamation point. Yeah, you're not bringing in punctuation into the equation. U, but yeah, just this freaking solid ass Sam Rimi Uh What's or Nuts is always money in the bag Rachel McAaddams. Mc Adams Yeahes, she's always great. and that dude's always great too. Yeah. Can't think of his name at the all. but yeah, super fun, entertaining, you know, great pace to it over O'Brien And I didn't look it up. I know people probably think, why why doesn't he just look it up? Because I like the thing to spring into my head and then interrupt what Justin is saying. Yeah, let it blossom Um Yeah. and it's just got it's got, you know, good twists. it's got disgusting, but like, you know, I don't I forget if it's R or PG thirteen, but like I always credit Sam Ramy for having the Grossest PG thirteen movie with Drag Me to Hell And this one has a lot of this similarly gross nasty things that happen. Yeah, just fucking Totally unpredictable and gross Bonkers, if I didn't say it already, yeah, highly recommend it I mean, I was texting through the whole film trying just writing send help to everybody. And so they went there to film the Dystopian as came from New York scenery There used to be a funny bomone right across the river, and I don't think they did much to clean it up. It's all of the the city swapping is is interesting, but I've come to learn and even more so doing research for this game. there's a tendency to just you know shoot somewhere that has enough of what they need, but also is like a cheaper place to shoot and they can also you know, fake stuff there. but The Toronto for New York thing has always been kindind of crazy. And then you know, Vancouver is supposed to be You know, every time there's a movie that takes place in a West co, you know, u Pacific Northwest They tend to just go ahead and shoot in Vancouver because The foliage and the rainfall are going to be the same pretty much then they'lloot stuff in doors in Vancouver just for the tax breaks Uh, What was I gonna do? It's got to be something in ten days or they have to go How to lose a man in ten days to Colin and then some further descriptor of what's different about this one It's insane. they would never make like a sequel that was just like a different like didn't have any of those words in it. Plenty of sequels back in the day were like, you know, different different wors. You don't have to say the same words again and then put a two after it Anway. Yeah They can keep the same title and just change the two to the number two two two Oh shit You did it I don know was a guy in ten years. No the marketing is ready. They just have to make the movie I don't think a guy in the whole ten yards. No, they do. they make they shoot two of them at once, Jff ten weeks and ten years. L I feel like it had the right vbe is romancing the stone. Absolutely. It could have been a romancing the stone sequel script that they didn't make and that it's a fool's gold to make the guy like a little bit more of a jerk, was McCona had more of a jerk in it I'm confusing that with Gld. He's did another movie called Gold where he's like an embezzer or something counterfitter of gold. Oo, does. I don't think I've seen that. And I think his last name is gold. or he wears a bald cap? Yeah, it's one of those It's one of those ones. There's just something about like when a mov when a movie star is like not quite the movie star they once were, they don't necessarily sell tickets, but they're big enough that they can get projects off the ground just by aging to do them. Uh leads to some pretty funny u Funny results No But I guess McConaghy's got a thing coming out in August that played at South by not this year but the previous year to a lot of acclaim U And it's a name I always fucking forget like the rivals of Isaiah, somebody King Kain or something like that. Anyway, people are raving about it.
