I'm sure it must have happened somewhere. It was probably about like a character working in a sound studio or something. I think it was Whering Heights is what you think. Um this you reached out to me because the movie Uh you know, has been completed for a bit, but now it's finally going to get a wider more exposure, correct Yes, yeah, it took a while to get U, distribution becausecause R rated comedies, especially low budget, R rated comedies wereeren't exactly the hottest ticket, but I think There's been some good performances out of comedies lately and I know that there are stududios actively seeking them again. I did a club last weekend in Denver called Denver Comedy Underground and they We're pretty busy all weekend and I was like, hey, what gives? you know, It's not just me, right? And they were like, no, you know, we got to No drinker minimum. So someone could if they want just show up and sit through the show without having a beverage which is R how it should be. Wow And then the even better part a delicious free pizza for every audience member No way. amazing, dude.. Yes, you get a bunch of pizza and you know, buy a drink if you want to, But if you don't want to, then all you had to pay was whatever, you know, whatever the door price was, which is, you know, three hundred fifty dollars. But the point is No, you know what I mean? It's like, it's just they figured out a way to, you know do enough business that they, you know I think they're doing pretty well with this this system. Each of those two words gets its own line like they're all written one under the other. So there's no to my recollection, there's no commas or anything. there may be on the poster or If you look at it on an IMDB or something, but I wonder if they just had a hard time choosing between the three titles so they just put it put it all on. Well I think anyone is say based on a book, but it's not. What's that? I don't even think it's based on a book, so I don't even know if there's like source material to refer to. Yes, there's this movie that I saw and you might not expect me to like it, but it was called Remarkably Bright Creatures. I want to know more about this because I've heard good things, but all I know is it's Sally Field and an octopus. Yeah, and the octopus is played by Oh, dude, I just put this to He was doctor Octopus. That's crazy, dude. Oh my Godd. I just you said that. Holy shit. But this is like a prequel before he became a doctor. This is what ye before he even doctor Octoplus he was an actual Yeah, actual octopus Um that blows my mind, right? Remarkably bright creatures Yeah, who's that act voice isf Alfred Melina Yeah. Alfred Melina. Yeah He plays the octopus And Well, he did the voice unless it's really good prosthetics. I'm pretty sure it was just. Yeah, just the voice. But it was What his name? Bill Pullman's kid is in it too, right? Lewis Poleman Dude. I didn't even know that was kid, but yeah, he's in it Yeah. And he u it's a really it's a good sweet movie and I kind of like movies like that because I was watching it and it was one of those movies where I was like, man, my mom would really like this, you know? L this is a movie that I could show. My family. I could enjoy it too. There's only a few movies like that, you know You think Kevin's grandmother would like it Kevin's grandma would love it. Oh my God, dude, your grandma would love it so much, bro. It's such a fun It's a mom who get back from the cruise or I guess you can sit out with grandma and watch on a laptop Well except for the part like much like in shape of water the female lead hooks up with the sea creature So Sally Field and the octopus spoiler alert. Oh I did that. risky It I wish it would have headed that direction, but no, it'ss it's amazing though. It's a it's just a sweet movie It's aeet It's almost like A hallmark movie, but done really well You know, I've got I came up with a good tagline. promotional line for it. I don't know times the romance That'ses And the theme song could be the Beatle singing eight arms to hold you U Al Netflix. and I already had that on my want to see list. so thank you for confirming that. Kpt it Kevin What would you like to recommend U Well, being that I'm here to promote an R rated comedy, I wanted to suggest a different R rated comedy U that I feel doesn't get enough love Has anybody else seen spy? with Melissay. Yeah. off course So good. so good I can't count how many times I've seen that Why is the best thing that everyone involved in it ever did I can't really say I was fired. I really I really went out a little hard there, but But you know what I mean? These are Academy Award nominated actors, some of them, Tony awward nominated actors. and just you know, not only playing the hell out of their characters, but also it's just way more violent than it should than it needs to be And therefore that's amazing. And yeah, just such an engaging movie Yeah, the jokes and the gags are so solid h It's a great premise, Melissa McCarthy getting like unbenched to go in and be essentially a James Bond spy. Um, I don't know, every every time I put it on, I'm like, how is this not in every conversation about the best R rated comedies because it's so goddamn funny. Yeah it's really it's really good I think it's on Hulu Right now. Oh I bet it is. It's not it's not one of those others U ye that covers it Yeah somewhere SPY goo and go and find it. If you like it Font R rated Violent spy comedy U it's really directed by Paul Feg. I know he's sort of It goes backs that well a little bit here and there, you know, u Obviously brridesmaids was really good too, but like a spy was more surprising. Like Bridesmaids was like Well, obviously, he's got a sense of humor so he could direct that but much into I think and Sam probably knows the answer to this. I think Paul Feg is a huge James Bond fan Uh, that's that sounds about right You know, I can either confirm n or deny. but it' I mean pul is all suits and cocktails. So ye that's.ress he dresses like James Bond when he's on set. Yeah He really dresses up nice. likeike he always has a suit on and I've seen it in person because he'll wear it even to like come to a dumb Doug those movies ting at UTB or something. It's so weird everyvery now and then, someone will show me an old freaks and geeks set photo and Paul would just be wearing regular clothes And I really think he's the living embodiment of dress for the job you want Be shortly after that show is when he started just wearing suits all the time.
