The essential dining experience is set long before the plates are plated, the sauce is simmered, or the puree hits the pan. It starts with a simple blend that's consistent , purposeful, and precise . Trusted by the world's best chefs, so you can bring your best . Vitamix , only the Essential Dug hates Canny rapper screaming baby sticky seats with fifty as a bumper kernels in his teeth. There's still not one that he won't see a dog Hey, hey, hey everybody , my name is Doug and I love movies. This is Doug Loves Movies recording on Wednesday afternoon, april twenty ninth , twenty twenty six . See you on Tuesday for a live taping Rosemont, Illinois, O'Hare Jason . Today's guests two new bies and an old behind . It's Nick Coriro , Sam Levine, and Hayes MacArthur. Hello, gentlemen Hello . What's up ? You let's meet Thoma individually alphabetically by first name. He is currently starring in The Look of Love available on VOD . It's Hayes MacArthur. Hello Haze . What's up? Doug, I gotta say first of all, I love the billing. It wasn't negotiated, but it was alphabetical. The movie's called a love like this. Why do I call it? I just made it . It has the look of love on the poster A love like this Yes. And what exactly are they implying? What is it about this particular love that you are in with Emmuelan Ch icri es. Well , yeah, so the title goes well with the poster because you can see it's a love like this and then you see the picture, right? But describing it abstractly verbally it's harder to describe, but like what the movie's about is a bunch of our two high school sweethearts who have been in love their whole life. They're married to other people and they get together in the beautiful Malibu, California for one last tumultuous weekend. And we don't know what's going to happen . Well, I'll tell you what's going to happen in a love like this Yeah, I recall the poster has arrows like pointing to the shooting . That's right. Love like this right here. See this . This is what this is about. Not a love like this , this . Right . I think it now that you described a movie, I think it means that it's , you know, it's a love that has to go mostly unspoken . That's right . You nailed it . You've never done Douglas movies strangely enough, but you were a guest on a on or I was a guest on a podcast that you co hosted called Mustache Tales . That's right. You were one of our first guests. I do a podcast with Jay Shandra Secar and you came on, I think you were like our second or third guest and it was very fun spirited conversation. Okay, good. I, you know, I thought you were about to say what, you know, since then you were there, Doug It's really been launched us since your appearance . So is that still an ongoing I guess you don't have return guests why I haven't heard back from you . We haven't yet, you know every time on that kind of show. Well, we do it kind of intermittently and Jay and the guys are making supertroopers three, which is coming out this summer . So he's , you know, maybe hang out and drink and golf together, but we don't record our conversations as much. So we'll love to have you back. Did they figure out a way to get you into Supertroopers three ? So I was a Canadian mounty in Super Troopers two and yeah the mounty storyline did not make it into the to the next movie . Right. That's what I just dawned on me that like they have to do some weird side trip to Canada or get you on a zoom call or something . It would have been you know like we got to talk to that mounty that we still have a rivalry with . That's right. Because you were kind of a bad guy, but it was really I remember it being really fun . And of course, Rob Lowe at his cookiest . It was it was so much fun . And I saw that the trailer for Super Troopers three came out on four hundred twenty, great marketing. Of course. And it looks so great . Like it's they made it like it's like a it's like a family movie almost. Like you see the guys Farva is marrying Thorney's sister . So No . All right . Yeah . I see excited as being in a wedding cake. Hayes, are you good at movie trivia Like when you're not busy being handsome, do you nerd out on trivia ? I love movies . We'll see. Is that what we're doing today? We're doing movie trivia We'll come down to that shortly, yes. And I'm sorry you weren't praised I wasn't, but I'm here to play . All right, all . He is the co writer, director and co star of the Napa Boys. It's Nick Corasi. Hey, Nick . Hey, yeah, the co writer, co star, director, Napa Boys . What's up ? That's how you say all that every time you walk into a room these days . Yeah , yeah. Napa Boys, I guess I would say is if you just mix sideways in American pie and then you just also made only Super Troopers three, that's how it starts. That's how we would do it. Yeah, it's as if you know, this movie existed in a ongoing universe but we haven't seen the other parts , which is an absolutely brilliant concept for a movie. We've talked about Beth Dover and Paul Rust have both been on recently and so we talked a lot about it. And how do you feel Nick about, you know, being so involved creatively in a movie that I think people started calling a cult movie like immediately, like a cult classic when it just came out. That's got to be like a land speed record for a movie getting cult status . Yeah, I mean part of the calculus of it was , you know, to make a movie that you could immediately rewatch, which I feel like movies are made in the opposite way now. It's kind of made to be disposable to just show up as an icon. You click it, you kind of forget it or whatever. And our calculus was sort of how do you make a movie ? The way that we used to watch on DVD , where once you watch it, you want to watch it again. So it's sort of extremely rich with all sorts of lore that doesn't exist in backstory and secret easter eggs and jokes that you don't catch the first time. So I think by sheer will , I think people have responded to immediately watch it again and it's kind of been gaining traction in that way , which is what you hope, but yeah, for it to happen so fast is amazing. Yeah, I seem like you've been popping around different places , you know, doing talks after the movie and I'm sure it's a real , you know, just the choice to go see it. Like if you've seen the trailer, you're like , you know, you get what it is and then you and then you want to be a part of it . So how are you at movie trivia? Oh, by, you know, I know something about movies, lots of DVDs and whatnot. I'm down. Private, yeah. All right, well, our third guest today is good at it . His name is Sam LeBam Levine and other AK other stuff. Hey Sam . Hey Doug It's so happy to be back It's so good to have you back. The last time you were on, you won, of course . And so how are you feeling about the competition today and also how do you feel about performing on your anniversary? So thanks foring remember I feel good. I have the power of my marriage behind me today . And my wife's great. She knows movie trivia better than I do , but I would say that's how we met. It sits there, it gives you the answer one hundred percent of the time . And we do that when we do the live shows too. She sits in the front row and signs me You guys learned ASL for us? We learned ASL just for this . But look, I love movie trivia as much as anyone but admittedly Doug some of the games we play , they can be a little crazy and they go in movies quite random. You never know . Yeah. , you never I know never know what you're going what you're going to throw at us. So I'm I'm preparing for nothing. There's still, you know, it's a very limited number of people who are like, you know, tend to consistently do well at the games. You know what I mean? And so you're certainly one of those people, but we'll thank you. We'll see what happens in a little bit here. But first , before we play some games, I want to ask each of you since Sam knew this question was coming. We'll go to you first , Sam. Sure. Please recommend one movie . I'm going to recommend the Weird Al Yankovic classic UHF . Woah . I have a ten year old nephew and he's not seen the film . And I was talking with his parents about him seeing it and they were like, soon. He's on the cusp of just being old enough to appreciate it. And there's some adult jokes in there. And so I rewatched it on my own just to so that I could warn , you know, if there was going to be anything like that . And I forgot how much I absolutely positively adore that film. But what did you end up saying? I mean, what was objectionable in the films? Like Michael Richards pulling a long thing out of his nose ? Yes. Michael Richards pulling a long thing out of his nose, the guy who tosses animals out of the window to see if they can fly. Oh , yeah. What happens to those animals? They don't they get died. They don't they don't fly. They don't make it. Oh , yeah. Damn . Yeah. 'C ita'uses talking. But the humor is mostly like, I don't think of weird ass doing like dirty humor ever . No, there's really not any dirty humor, not like when I say adult, I don't mean like sexual. I just mean , you know, a little could be unclear or weird to a ten year old. That's all . Yeah . But you know, I would think that's, you know, part of the fun of it. I think it seemed like I think ten is probably a good age too. It is I was probably that yeah I think so. I mean I you know, I personally feel like sure some things might be traumatizing but you know just kids should just watch whatever , you know, like as long as it's not I mean hardcore violence or sex like who cares? They're gonna they're going to see it on the internet next week anyway. That's a hundred percent accurate and I couldn't agree with you more kids should watch whatever they want to watch even if it is violent or sexual. That's how I grew up and I seem to be fine. With an older like with an older sibling or a parent maybe,, you know , that stuff is, you know, usually works out okay. Like my parents took me to lots of R rated movies and they just sort of Yeah, same. They just sort of sit there and act like, you know, everything was cooled during the weirder parts, but my mom took us my mom took us to see Eddie Murphy's raw in the theater . I don't know what year that was. I have to look it up The red the red leather suit and the whole and like it was it was shocking. You know, I couldn't have been more than ten, like it was she really wanted that's phenomenal Yeah, I don't know where why she wouldn't think even in his like I guess Saturday live you don't swear but his previous his movies are all f ull of, you know, like, oh yeah, I know that. He'd come to America. Coming to America is treated like it's a family film, but it is rated R . Straight up rated R. There's weird, there's weird naked booze molded throughout the movie . I don't know what score I don't know what scarred me more. The material that Eddie was saying or the fact that she turned to me during the in the theater and said he's so sexy Doug, can we go back? You specified by saying there were naked boobs in the movie as opposed to just boobs . So by that rationale , every movie is with women and it is full of boobs, just not naked boobs. Yeah, you can see, you know, there's still boob most movies have the boobs are there under a shirt or something. Right, right. Yeah. So by that metric, these are naked ones every movie is full of boobs . I think I think the nipple is the defining line between naked boob and boobs. Sure . All right, Vick, do you have something you could recommend . Yeah, I'll do Taylor Hackford's Blood in Blood Out East L. A. Epic about three plus hours fantastic film and I would say it's his career masterpiece. Not to be confused with American Me, which came out that year . Edward James almost three hours hourast E LA epic, which is also great, but I'm going to recommend Blood in Blood Out. It was sort of the bugs life and ants of its time as far as East LA is concerned. Oh yeah, sounds like a real volcano dante's peak situation. Yes, yes Or an Armageddon Deep Empact deal . Yes, thin red line , thin red line saving private Ryan. Yeah. Who was that's the first time I'm hearing that one? I think one of them, well, I guess they're both pretty successful in different ways , but who's it who as soon as you said Blood and Blood Out I felt for I immediately thought Edward James almost, but he's an exactly that's American me and who 's in who's like who's the lead in blood in blood out It's what's his name on Benjamin Brat. Benjamin Bratt. Okay, here you go. Right on Benjamin Yeah, exactly. So they came out basically the same year.' Theyre both three hour plus epics. I think both of them flopped in the movie theater . People weren't ready for the three hour East L. A. Epic, but they're often confused . And but for this for the purp oses of this I will recommend Blood and Blood Out. It's a fantastic film and also has a huge cult following . One of the actors , his name's Damian Shopa. I know this because he made his own unlicensed sequel to the film called Vatos Locos, which is the name of their gang in it, but he directed a unauthorized sequel to it. It's basically it is a huge cult film in the Los Angeles Latino community . But yeah, I'm wondering if was it before remember that movie colors ? Oh yeah. Think it was after these would be after, yeah. Yeah . It was after I mean there was a real time where like that was a that was a serious genre but have all of you not is I'm the only one that's seen blood in blood out or no I've seen it. And I want to say it's ninety three or ninety four . So that would definitely be after colors . Yes , ninety three . All right . Thanks, Nick . Hayes, what have you got for us? Sam is talking about his kid made me think I have a fifteen year old son. So I go back and watch like movies movies that I think everybody knows, I realize like they've never even heard of them . So I did this with Hoosiers and I just realized it's definitely my favorite movie. It holds up . It's totally incredible uplifting and the interesting thing about it to me is when you look at like how something gets made, they took the same writer, director and Jerry Goldsmith did the, you know, the famous score for Hoosiers and they also did Rudy together . So they like did almost like they they had a formula, they had a team and they they put it together, but I just thought that was like one of the most elevated sports films I've ever seen. Gene Hackman and then Dennis Hopper Dennis Hopper directed colors by the way. Dennis Hopper coming into the gym . I'm from the Midwest . All those guys, I don't know Mug Jerry, but David Ansbau and Andrew Pizza wrote wrote it. They're Chicago guys. Yeah, and they've been on they've been on this show and I've also done , you know , I have a regular thing I do the Benson movie interruption where we sit and watch a movie and sometimes we have audience members bring in movies and we pick one, but in the past, especially like this was at a comedy festival in Bloomington , Indiana , and where breaking away takes place . As a festival there, so we got both of those guys to I went to the festival more than once. It was called Limestone Comedy Festival. And one time when I went we all watched Houstiers together and then the next time when I went we all watched Rudy together amazing and yeah it was super fun but both of those guys don't I always feel sad bringing this up because it's, you know, kind of a bummer but, they have absolutely no love for Mr. Gene Hackman . Amazing performance in the movie, but they both just really, really despise the man. Rest in peace. But also I was thinking you want to get a young person interested in Hooser's you should call it Hoosier's mama Did This makes me think there's the character is named Hoosier . Whoosier's mama, I don't know why Hoosier's mama person dresser that was Tunger'ress Neighbors. Thanks for those recommendations, fellas . People, I'm sure will I 'm pretty convinced people would enjoy any of those if they took the time to check them out. But now it's time to enjoy some ads and then we'll be right back . We are back a dinosaur's story. Our first game today is a newish one that I love to play . It's called Count Me if you can . Yeah, do you know about this one, Sam? I don't, maybe I do. Please remind me It's fun. It's it's very tricky game because I'll name a movie and then you have to tell me how many credited performers, the exact number appear in the end titles according to IMDB . Oh God . Yeah, I don't sit and watch the end credits and these things and try to figure it out. I go just by what IMDB claims . So I'll I'll name a movie. Haze gets a guess first, how many people he thinks are in it? And if he misses, then whoa, Nick gets a shot and if he misses, then Sam gets a crack at it . And the exact number you have to give me the exact be ach. So at the end of the round when we've all missed so when we've all missed, it's not who's the closest without going over or closest regardless of if you all miss that I'll just tell you the answer and we move on to the next round. Terrific, this is gonna be fun. Every time it is, every time someone gets how many people in the credits the cross creditical performers. I like Critter Performers. Okay, so not created as performers. Because they like to give animals performers like where it'll say the name of the character, the animal in the movie and then like the actual like Bart the Bear. Yeah, exactly. Okay, include stunts . Is this just actors we're talking about or is it stuntmen We're talking about like if you click on cast , so generally stunt is cast. So yeah, it's the cast recording to I and DB and then for a lot of the names and almost every movie has them, they'll be uncredited in prints under some of the names. So we don't include those. So it's just credited performers according to because they love to add in like when somebody's, you know, like I'm I was an extra in a couple of things and I'm like on their list now and then it says uncredited. It's like yes uncredited because I was a fucking extra get, it together . All right . The first movie that Hayes has to guess how many people were in it is called The Hitcher . And here's here's the trick . This is the hitcher from two thousand seven with Shawn Bean. The last time we played this game , we did the hitcher from nineteen eighty six that starred Rucker Howe, Rocker. Yeah, yeah. I was gonna say with the three names. Who was the boy or the young man? See Thomas Howell ? Watch Thomas Howell, I like to call it so the movie we played the last episode of where we played this we play the hitcher from eighty had I,'ll tell you it, had four credited performances, even though it's mostly about hitchhiker on the road and a guy stalking him. So right , Heyes, with all that information , give me your best guess how many people are accredited in the cast of the hitcher from two thousand seven . Okay , so if there were fourteen in the original, I'd imagine in a remake, somebody said, let's really beef it up. So it's got to be at least double the amount of performers for the remake. It needs more people talking . More people talking and more action, more set pieces . I'm going to say there's thirty two . I'm going to say that is wrong, Nick. How many do you think I'll go lower , I'll go twenty two . Ooh, also wrong. Sam, what do you think? My God Please remind me uncredited counts does not count. Uncredited does not count. Does not count. Okay, well in that case what so what do we got thirty two and twenty two were the two gases? I will split the difference and say twenty six . No, I'm sorry, nobody got it, but even split I think it would have been if somebody did because you were all in the definitely in the ballpark and the number was twenty . Oh wow. twenty people went in the hitch . Next round starting again with Haze. Oh God . There's a movie called Mass that you know, it was a kind of an indie and it went mask just recently went to Netflix and they're acting like it's a brand new movie and crack me up. But anyway , this movie Mas is essentially it's the cheery story of four parents getting together to discuss a school shooting in which one of the kids was the shooter and another family's kid was a victim . That's the premise of the movie. They get together to sort it out . So based on Goda Carnage the play . Well, I mean it's a similar premise. I mean yeah, but God of Carnage is funny. Mas is like one of the heaviest movies I've seen in a minute. It came out three or four years ago, I think . But how many people do you think are in that haze God . So we've got the two couples getting together after a tragedy. We've got the shooter. How many people did he shoot ? He's got to be at least nine kids . I'm going to go with twenty one . Okay , that's not correct but it is a number. You did say a number Nick . How about like seven ? No Sam Nick Nick's thinking more like I am. I do not know this film and the way you described it two couples after a shooting. I'm going to say it's the two coupl es talking and then maybe maybe one extra person like maybe comes in like a cop or a school person. So I'll say five . Not a terrible guess , not terrible logic either. I'm pretty sure by my recollection, they don't ever like actually show the shooting or even the children don't think anybody involved, but there's other people that kind of come and go because their gathering is at some sort of like community center or something. So there's a lady kind of in charge of like when they can get the room and when they have to get out of the room and shit like that. And so the number comes out to nine . Oh close again. It's close . I've got my Catholic grandmother, I'm gonna tell her not to click on that one. No Doug, who is in this movie? Is there anyone we know in the film? Well, part of the reason I saw it is because like two of the actresses are two of the best out there Martha Flimpton and Anne Dowd. Oh Oh , they're both very good. And then Reed, Bernie and Jason Isaacs . Jason Isaacs is always terrific if he's playing someone who isn't British because he's not good at it . Not good at playing rits . What's with all what's with all this coffee? I hate coffee . I'll say also there's a there is a school shooting premise appears in the Napa Boys handled absolutely correctly and with a special amount of respect. But I guess Mass and Napa Boys have that in common . Yeah , I think so. It's two of the best indies out there . Yeah . Round three . You're going to get one and I have I have something set up at the end so that somebody wins for sure no matter what. Right . Haze . Do you remember a movie called Lock LOCKE ? Is that with Tom Hardy? It's Tom Hard y alone in a car . How ? How many people are credited? Wow , gosh . I'm gonna go with one I mean, wouldn't that be amazing? I would damn knows, I'm not above pulling that pulling that start, but that is incorrect. There's more than one person credited at the end Lock . Nick, are you familiar with this movie? A little bit, yeah, it's a, you know , chamber, I don't know what they call it chamber I'm assuming there's people that he's talking to . Would it be weird ? Tom Hardy driving and whistling ? Well, don't do Ryan Reynolds . Ryan Reynolds did that movie where he was locked in a box . Right. But he's just similar . Phone booth and it's a genre. I'll say I'll say eleven . Yeah, we've conquered a lot of the , you know, movies where like it's known to only have two or three people in it, but even then there's always for some reason there's always a little more. So when you're guessing these things, you gotta always add a little more. So what was what was your number eleven ? Okay , that's incorrect, Sam . If we have to add a little more, I don't know, twelve twelve is the number. Come on, do in a movie about a guy alone in a car. And some of the callers on the phone in the car are well known actors Olivia Coleman, Tom Holland, Andrew Scott . So I don't know. Now I'm thinking about maybe checking out this movie. I really thought that he'd just be talking to like one or two people Olivia Coleman is performing and not filming. That's so much firepower not to use. Yeah , well, you know , I feel like I got to check it out. But Sam is on the board . I want to say I had no idea . That was a very generous clue. It's like price is right just out of dollar. So we're gonna add a little bit more . All right, so Hayes, we're back to you and the movie is a film I think you're familiar with. It's called Buried and it stars Ryan Reynolds , as a man as a man who is buried alive . How many fuckin' people are in that one, Ace ? And we're gonna go with one again . No, he's talking on his cell phone. Right. I remember that. Sure. Yeah, so I'll say six . And he's got like a book of matches maybe so we could see him like it's not just a pitch dark the whole movie . That's no, that's not correct. Sorry. Nick . Um four Also wrong, Sam, if you get this one right, I'm gonna I'm gonna say you should open up a little shop and put up a sign that says psychic I mean, I've seen the film and I enjoyed the film, but I only saw it the one time and I know he makes a lot of phone calls , but I cannot remember who so I will say fifteen . Why doesn't his phone die if he's calling all these people from a box buried in the ground ? I don't know . All right . people . Oh, wow, okay. Wow. Wow. Yeah, he gets nineteen people on the horn . And that's a lot of Olivia Coleman type firepower on the other end of the line. You know, I didn't write down any names so I feel like no, I don't even think there's a yeah, I don't even think there's a scarlet Johanson breaking up with him in there . I have a McCall I have a theory that Ryan Reynolds started his own version of sci entology and him and Rob McLeni are the only members and they keep trying to recruit people like Hugh Jackman. And I think they think Sean Levy , I think they recruited him. And now I think I think Ryan Gosling is now their next recruit that they're trying to get it. It's almost like girl dad ology or some kind of new form of scientology that Ryan Reynolds is doing. That's my new theory. I think it's a terrific theory because sort of Tom Cruise is similar, like some of these people, like they have enough money, they have enough fame , so then they've got to go to some other level somehow . You know what I mean? Yeah, you don't need the baggage of scientology, but you want the discipline and the strange like tight fitting, like perfect world, but without the baggage of it. So I really think Rob McLaney and Ryan Reynolds started this and it's some kind of waximology or something. Oh my goodness. The views and opinions expressed on this episode of Douglove's movies are not necessarily indicative of all the guests on this. Does anybody care though about those guys enough to be mad about them ? No, I don't know. I guess. I mean, I don't I enjoy both of their, you know, what I see them do on screen for the most . I follow the work. Yeah. I mean, I'm impressed with the work. Yeah. I thought it was a fun arc to see Ryan Reynolds do the same thing over and over again until he did it in a superhero costum e and then it worked. You know? I mean, I always enjoyed him to a certain extent. Like especially what's the one where he goes back just friends wilder? Is really good. All right, I'm going to end this discussion here. So I got one more of these for you guys. If anybody gets it, then we'll have a tie with Sam will have to play the Tiebreaker . But we start again with Hayes and the movie is silent running from the seventies . This is you know, Bruce Durn plays a guy who's out in space with some hanging out with some b ots . No cool running cool runnings about the Jamaican bobs like down heads down a lot a lot of that with the silent running Rooster . I'm gonna go I'm not going to go with one again. I've learned that lesson. I think I'm gonna go twelve . It's just running, no S on this one silent running because he's Bruster and by himself running . Okay, okay it's running silent. How it's just okay . Well, if it's if it doesn't have an S on it the end of it, I'm gonna go with ten. Okay, incorrect. Nick Five no Sam . Oh, the laugh. Oh, I don't know six. No, I just' lamughing because I really want somebody to get it. And it's just such a random ask. Like, how would anybody know really? And you just have to guess. And those were all great guesses, but the answer is eight . No We were all around . There's eight people. Yeah, because , you know, the little bots have like people inside them and they were properly accredited . And so therefore , Sam wins that game, but don't fret fellas because all he wins is the opportunity or you know could be a disadvantage sometimes a disadvantage of going first in our next game that will determine it all, we will be right back . Watching a classic like Hoosiers can get you fired up for real drama, but nothing matches the intensity of playoff hockey. Every shift counts and the action is physical and unpredictable. NHL on TNT has the best coverage, bringing you all the moments that matter. The studio crew, with Paul Bissinette, cracking jokes and Wayne Gretzky breaking down plays, makes every game more fun to watch. If you love seeing a team come together under pressure, playoff hockey is where it happens. Watch the Stanley Cup playoffs on TNT, TBS, True TV, and HBO Max . We are back a dinosaur story . Wonder if Sab will laugh at that every time. I will laugh every time . All right, you got to go first in this next game, Sam, your favorite game. I always love playing this game when you're going to be on it's called Little Search Engine that could . I typed a word into the search engine today , Nick and Hayes on the aforementioned IMDB, and then I wrote down the top ten titles with that word in the title that we're, you know, are currently being searched according to , you know, the IMDB algorithm . So I'll tell you what that word is. And then the three of you , starting with Sam, then going to Nick, then going to Hayes, you'll each get three guesses of movies you think would be on that list, on that top ten list. If the movie you name is number one, you get ten points. If it's number ten, you get one point, and then there's all those points in between . It's kind of family feud style basically . And without specifically ripping it off , but there you have it . Any questions ? No, no. All right, cool . The word and this is in honor of Nick's movie, the word I typed was Nappa. No, I'm kidding. The word . I wonder if there are any other movies that have the word Napa in the title or you might be the only one . But I went with boys . Now this is not boy. The word boy appears in many film titles , but this is just movies with the word boys plural not like silent running, which was not plural. This is only movies with boys the word boys in the title . I wrote down ten of them . Sam gets the first guess . All right, immediately three films come to mind. Any of these, I'm sure could be number one, but I will say the one that popped into my brain first , the lost Boys . Well, you know, it's popping into everybody's brains because it just opened as a Broadway musical that actually got pretty good reviews and supposedly quite this spectacle . And so it is number one . Oh wow. On the list. Okay , I did not think it would be that high . Yeah, no it's really it's really the time to be talking about and watching Los Bo ys. So Nick , you get the second guess or your first guess. What movie with boys and the title do you think people are feverishly you know searching for on I NDB today . Mappa Boys . Well, that, you know, it seems like unfair that you would be in a position to name your own movie and it is number two on the list So that is nine points for Dick. Hey's, this seems so unfair gone down so far, but you're you're no by no means are you out of this because there's eight other titles that are worth points that have the word boys in them . What's your first guess It's been bad boys Bad boys , this is this is an interesting one. I have to ask you a follow up question . Are you referring to bad boys from nineteen eighty three with Sean Penn or Bad Boys from nineteen ninety five with Will Smith and Martin Lawrence I'm referring to the Will Smith Martin Lawrence film . That is number three on the list. It is worth eight points this. Okay is a barn burner. Wow . Holy cow . I mean, get out of the burning barn, you're dumb cow . Back to you, Sam. Well weather . Thank you very much. Well the three that popped into my head were lost boys, bad boys , and this one I almost said because it starts with the word boys . So I will say boys don't cry . Well , this is this I have this is unprecedented in this game so far , you guys are four for four . The top four because boys don't cry with Hilary Swank is number four on the list. Wow . Yeah, so that's another seven for Sam . Again, this is not with two more answers for Nick and Hayes, they are not out of this by any stretch. So Nick, what's your next thought on movies with Boys in the Title . Bad boys too . know what ? Of course it's there and it is number ten on the list . And therefore worth one more point for Nick . Haze, what do you got ? Only because I was speaking of my Catholic grandmother earlier, I have to go with life of the dangerous lives of ultra altar wait, the dangerous lives of altar boys . There you go . You had to do that one They can tripped it. Do you think there? Do you think the dangerous life of an alter boy? It's plural, correct? Right . Yeah. Altered Yeah, it's boys I think . But do you see how I'm not even like I'm not even sure about it because that I did not see that title in any of my research on this I wrote down all the way up to number eighteen it didn't grow. I got another one. I got another one. Are we have to go to we have to go to Nick and Sam. Will you allow Haze to change his answer? No That was Nick Snake said there Okay, because I thought Nick, you might be like, Oh, it's more opportunity to possibly take down Sam Levine, but I appreciate you're playing your own game. And that's the that's the way to do it. So Hayes, I'm sorry, the secret lives of Altar Boys did not did not gain you any points. Now, here's Sam 's like on jeopardy when like, you know, one person gets, you know, so far away that nobody else can catch up so file jeopardies. You just have to hear that dumb song. What's your third and final answer, Sam. Oh wait . Um , okay, here's my thinking . If bad boys is in the top three. And Bad Boys two is number ten, you said . I did say that yes. They got to be another bad boys in there, right? But the problem is I know that there was one that came out a couple of years ago called Bad Boys for Life, but I know there was a more recent one that came out like a year or two ago . And I can't quite remember what it was called. What a dilemma. Is it I'll just say bad boys for life because I don't want to get the title wrong. Well you did get that title right and it was And it was number seven on the list. All right , so that's that's four more points. So Sam does in fact have an insurmountable score. Oh well . But But so congratulations to you, Sam. You get to do before I'm going to finish this out though, I want everybody to know the rest of the answers and I want to talk to Nick and Hayes some more . But for right now, Sam, can you tell me who you would like me to call a shit head at the end of the show's day ? I think you know who I'd like you to call a shit head . It's the person who you call a shit head for many years of the show . And he's been in a lot of Scorsese films . And I think you know what I'm talking about. Oh, James Woods A lot of scors i movies. Oh the one . Robert How many has how many Scorsese movies has Defoe been in? I don't know. At least two, maybe more? At least a minimum of two. Okay , it's probably been in more Wes Anderson's . I guess that's right. I'm just I would never think of I don't know . All right. Well anyway, yeah, he was the he was the second shit head after Barbara Stanwick. There you go. And for anybody that's not up with the joke , William Defoe is considered to be a very, very nice guy. So calling him a shit is just a funny funny thing to say. Yes, we love William Defoe. Ironic. All right . And Sam, what do you want to promote? You're on Comeo, anything else? I'm on Comeo, and today is my fourth wedding anniversary. Yeah . I would like to promote marriage and marrying a nice person who you get along with. And if it's not a nice person, you don't get along with them, don't marry them. I can't stress that enough . Hey, save it for cameo. Anybody you need advice about who to marry up for camera . That's right . All right , thank you, Sam. My pleasure to meet you again soon. Nick , just for funsies , give me your third movie with boys in the title. Well, it now this is what was confusing Sam is that bad boys for life stupidly was the name of the third bad boys . Right. Even though it's got a four in there . They knew they knew that they wanted to do four . I have no idea how that happened kind of stupidity is like. So they named the third one bad boys for life and the fourth one was bad boys ride or die, which should have been the name of the third one. So I'm going to say ride or die die . Maybe Maybe Ride or Die wasn't a hot enough expression when they were making the third one . But nonetheless, it is on the list and Sam, you know, your instincts were right that if you could have come up with the title that it was ranked a little higher. It's number five on the list . So as a group, you're all doing spectacularly because almost everyone has been knocked off . you Did think of another one Haze ? Well, it's a technicality because it's spelled with a z ombie if bad boys is so well represented on the list. I assume let me just show you that. Let me flow your roll There isn't a Z in any of these . So don't worry about that . So don't for disqualify. Boys B OYS, no messing around . We said boys don't cry the Hillary Splank movie. We did say that one, yes. Um what was it? The crew? Boys in the boat . Number six on the list . Oh my goodness. Is that the Angelina Jolie movie? No, it's oh maybe she directed you mean? No, George didn't George Clooney It was Looney directed Looney definitely directed . Yes, Joel Edgerton and Callum Turner . There you go. twenty twenty three. So that's that's such a good pull. Like between the three of you, you named all the top seven . So that's super super impressive and then number six, seven, number eight is that cute cup but dirty buddy comedy with the children playing with sex toys called Good Good Boys . , which was that was written by those guys that went on to do both seasons of jury duty, which I love that show. Number nine , I knew this one was never gonna come up because this is like a young adult motion picture to all the boys I've loved before Yeah. That was that was everyone's next guess. Yeah, and then of course ten was bad boys too. And then listen to all these boys that didn't even make the top ten, Nickel Boys, Wonder Boys, riding in cars with boys , boys on the side. Wait, isn't there a movie literally just called Boys? Yes with Lucas Haz? Didn't make the top ten either. Families Baker Boys and then it goes on like there's so many boys. Wow, right. Yeah, boys is in a million titles. I'm happy that Napa Boys is the number two . Yeah, no it's really it's really getting the search . And I swear, if Lost Boys didn't just open as a Broadway musical, Napa Boys would be number one . That's right. All right, so I've been seeing ants for it . Nick , Corey Rossi, what would you like to say ? What are you promoting? Obviously Napa Boys? Napa Boys, you can get it on Apple TV. It was in I think it's in the top twenty comedies right now and napa boys, napa boys. It's always been on your DVD shelf and they've always existed. Who do you your character to me felt like kind of an amalgam of , you know, like Chevy Chase and Tim Matheson and like similar like the guy that's like
