How are you feeling likeike, you know, we're a little bit off of Smmer house And all of the shit and now we're like fully in the city. How are you feeling like with the transition to in the city? How are you liking the show Okay, so I think the Last episode in this episode are the first ones where I feel like there's a show that exists on its own, like outside of Summerhouse that I'm actively enjoying and care about and I mean props to Danielle, I guess, because I don't know, suddenly I feel like There is a show that exists outside of Kyle and Amanda in Summer House because I was concerned about that, right? L Even before the West and Amanda stuff came out, I was a little like What's in the city going to be like with Kyle and Amanda if we know they're divorced? L I remember like actively being like, we're gonna have to watch them fight all fall because as a person who's hated them together since season one episode one aired, like this has been this has been a ten year, a decade long torture, slow torture of me. And I was relieved that they were finally divorced, right? And then I was like Is this even going to be interesting on the show? And it is a lot on the show, but I feel like we're finally getting storylines outside of them and Kenny is good, Gavin is good. Lindsseay is master cllass I don't know Carl wrong to Bravo that he doesn't get to be on this show, but Well, I think things are about to be righted again. I think it's like he's got to come for season two. you think? Are you? Of course you will. But it is so crazy that they did not see that he was opening a peach pit where they could all go and hang out I know. And the only answer to that to me is Gavin living all those places in the city And the I was gonna to say Did Lindsey like demand that Carl wouldn't be on the show? But I also don't think Lindsey would do that. Lindy Lindseay knows what the audience wants. Like I don't I just don't really for all of I have a lot of criticism for Lindsy Hubbard who I love, love, love to watch. I want to be clear. But like one of the things I love about her is that she's not going to block someone from being on a show, I don't think Right. I think She and Kyle share that same trait, however, ye. I think Kyle does it in a way that people are like, this is a good idea. Whereas Lindseay, I think like I see it I see where she's coming from more compleompletely agree. Completely agree. Mle's really gott to like literally divorce and like emotionally divorce himself from whatever ties that bind him to Amanda emotionally. likeike he's gotta free himself And free all of us, really I okay firstirst of all, I like am being personally triggered. I come from a a marriage of two people who fucking hated each other and stayed together until I was eighteen years old. actuallyctually I was talking about with my friend this morning. Tamara Judge came up and she sent me the I want a divorce scene and she's like, wasas this your parents? And I was like literally like like in a cab in Mexico, like my mom's like crying behind her sunglasses, like feaning for a cigarette in a margarita, like, I want I fucking divorce. like that That was my childhood. So like I am coming from a personally triggered place, but like I people who hate each other that are together, I I have such a low tolerance for it and I've always felt this way about Kyle and Amanda always and like watching continuously play out. like I can't be on either side. I know Amanda did something really bad to Sar, but like oututside of that, like They fucking hate each other. I don't what are they fighting about? What are they fighting about? What are they fighting for what Who are they fighting? What are they fighting for? Nothing makes sense. Like who I don't believe a single thing either of you are saying Yeah, yeah. and this really comes in at Yvonne's birth or wedding dinner. So yeah, let's get into it because there was much to discuss. It was practically a red wedding . So we start off at the Garrett, one of Gavin's spots And it's like the boys, Kenny Gavin Kyle and Lindsey, the boys, as we find out later. Lindsey wants to know what happened at Guy's Night Gavin tells her Owen was notot answering but answering a bunch of questions about like his marital status and the divorce and where he's at with that, what he filed, etcetera. Kenny's like, yeah, he was being really evasive Kyle says it wasn't like we were trying to go after him. We literally just wanted to know basic information But it's like you the fact that Owen was being evasive makes it sound more sketchy I need everyone to be more honest about what is happening here. I need them all to be like, yeah, we're gossiping about you because the story says that you're together. And then I need Owen and Owen is his name, right? A's name. Owen and Danielle to be like, yeah, it makes sense. peoplee have accused us of having an affair. I understand why you would like an explanation. like thousand percent. L Danielle has to stop Um It almost like Stay sand effects a little bit Yeah, but also everyone else needs to stop pretending like they're not gossiping about it. L it's actually fine. L this is kind of scandalous. A girl that you don't really like that much. like just had a scandalous article put out about her. Danielle acting so indignant that like anyone would dare talk about it is ridiculous. and then everyone being like, we weren't talking about you. Yeah. We were trying to collect And it's like, no you were gossiping and that's okay And that's totally fine. This is the one time I've been like one hundred percent on Amanda's side of Okay, Danielle, if Katie DeLuca and her husband were the one who show you this text message in which actually Katie saysb when Matt said the shadiest thing Why are you mad at Amanda and Kyle Like, I braw in on it girl. it's just it's such a it's such a silly thing. L it's such a non thing and this is where Danielle trips herself up every time Every time, no matter what is that Danielle will just do She'll be so right about so many things and then she just does something and you're like But why would you do that? a thousand percent. And she also like is veryer obviously to me like last episode when she was talking to her mother and she'll like say little things like she said later to Owen. like this obviously does bother her. The fact that he' not divorced yet does bother her. and also that's fine. But like again, it's just she wants this fairy tale. but she doesn't want anybody to look under the carpet and it's like, well, that's Not realistic may I actually thought Lindsy was being really reasonable. I think it was in the last episode when they were eating pizza. and she was like, I mean, as long as he's for real getting a divorce, that's cool. Like I support you. that's a real thing that you say to your friend who's like maybe entering a messy situation and Danielle being like Of course, it's real. It's like I didn't say it wasn't. I'm like letting you know that yes, it looks messy, but like hey As long as you say it's not messy, I trust you. Danille immediately going on the defensive every single time, no matter what, it's so annoying I agree. because like Juxtapose with Amatha Garrett We see Danielle and Gabt Owen meet up for drinks and, you know, he wass just talking about how busy his day was as a Hotel tech entrepreneur. I don't know what that is, but that was listed as his lower third Um Danielle was like, Ohh, you're so busy. You know what? alsoso makes things difficult, like your busy work schedule, you being married Hh And like you that's not funny. You don't think this is funny. and that's funny. It's not funny. I really do, you know as two ladies who date, I guess, who are What is Danielle my age?'s probably I don't know how old Danielle I'm thirty eight. She's probably if not my age in between the two of us, like right there. There is like I'm sorry, Danielle, like you we are too old to like prettend likeike we are too old to pretend like H not being divorced yet doesn't matter if you're sitting here telling me you guys are getting married and having kids. Yeah And these little jokes aren't convincing me that this isn't an issue with you Exactly. Like I as someone who like doesn't want to have kids and doesn't really seek marriage, like I could like, I don't know, as long as there's not like a ton of drama, I could see myself entertaining a casual situation where there's just to separate whatever, you know what I mean? Because it's like who cares Yeah. I don't w to like I don't wan to get married or have kids. Like it doesn't matter. but like if those are your goals Why are you sitting here pretending like it's actually fine that this guy's married Exactly You can it both ways, basically. Yeah Exactly. I feel like yeah, Danielle wants a fantasy, but she doesn't, it's like you can't pull that string because then you're going to have to tell a lot of hard truths about the situation and your feelings and then you can't do that This is I after it I will say like when I think about it, in the city is a pretty real reflection. I think of like the choices people in their late thirties are making in relationships. ally in the city. I can imagine. that are just certainly baffling. And like it's getting it gets to a point like your friends are saying things and you're like, well, that makes truly no sense. where when you were twenty three, you would like, play along, you know Yeah, there's this weird like code with dating in New York where It's almost Like if Owen had never been married, it would almost be less of a red flag. I don't know how to explain it. Yeah like No, no, no, no, because there's drama there's clearly drama going on. Something like isn't quite right. Yeah, yeah. like I think I think a lot of women, even single women who have never been married Oddly enough, in this town, view men who have never been married as like kind of weird, like, what's wrong with you? Why didn't you get j I mean, yeah, because every woman they know wants to get married. R it's like I know eight hundred hot women that aren't married and I don't know that many hot men that aren't married. it feels like. Exactly. And like oddly enough, like and maybe it doesn't make sense, but it's almost like he is more of a hot commodity because it's like, well, at least I know. that he was wanted at some point. like I don't know how it doesn't make sense, but this them is the rules, kids. I don't know what to tell you Well also Let's think about Danielle. Okay. lo She loved Rober. She loved Robert. All she wanted to do was be married to Rober and that man would not commit. That man was a traveling restaurant door. She worked eight hundred hours and was not committing to her and would not commit to her. So I think the idea of like a man who clearly wants to have a wife and wants to have kids and is serious about life Yeah, a thousand percent, one thousand percent. Oh Lord. u so They back to Garret, Lindsey's telling all the guys, I know If y'all were trying to put the pieces together and this happened at Girls Night, we would have figured this out real quick, but you boys are confused. So Gabins like Lindseay pull out your phone, Google Owen Heveie Wedding Day. So I don't have this on my search history, please He's so messy But let's is able to find this woman quickly. She was able to find the hairdresser from the wedding day who posted about, Ohh, I had this beautiful bride in her bridal party in Marbea. and they're like, this was June of twenty twenty three Kyle's like, hold on. I thought Owen said that they were married for four years, which is what he said in a flashback So Kenny's like, well, what would he gain by saying that it was only two years ago? if it was four years? like what would be the rub there and Kyle's like, well, clearly he's trying to cover something up Lindcy says even though Danielle and A Eestrange's relationship, like I still am trying to look out for her. I want to make sure she's protecting herself. I don't know this guy I know that he makes her happy, but like I need to do the research on the back end By the way, this is Alexia and Merol not scrolling all the way down. Like not a single person was like, well, what was going on in twenty twenty three? Like if somebody had A wedding in Spain, which by the way, my friend that I just was in Italy with was in Marbeaya before we met up and she said it was incredible and But like Nobody was like, well Four years ago was twenty twenty one And like it How many people do we know that got legally married in twenty twenty one that then had a wedding in twenty twenty three? Like no one stopped for one second to consider any possibility except like he's hiding it which once again, I get why that makes Danielleen own defensive, but also like whatever, you are in a shady, kind of weird situation. He's still married just is what it is. So just explain it. Yeah. and he all his answers were evasive. All his answers were kind of like defensive. so, I mean, you're not helping yourself. and like Is it their business? not really, but when you make things sound sketchy, people just want to hear something that feels right and they would have just like had you just said what you said later, everybody been like, okay, but then he didn't. So like it's a little bit on him Yeah, I think it is on time. and I think we're seeing a tiny bit not to give everyone any credit of like a normal person on a reality TV show. what's explaining his life and then suddenly like people are googling him and he's like, w? All right But wait, wait, wait. And it's like, yeah, keep up You have to be factual here This is is a court. We're in a court of law Absolutely So they all decide like, oh, Gavin then tells Lindsey about reconciling with his father and meeting his father and coming to the city. And Lindsey's like, oh my God, that's incredible. She tells Kenny about her situation with her mother, how she hadn't spoken to her mom in like ten years that weird phone call that we saw on Summer house And then she said, I hadn't even spoken to her for eight years prior to that. So Um, you know, it's bad. Gavin's, you know, like, is there a past to reconciliation with you two unless he's like, absolutely not. Obviously, Kenny's coming from a perspective of like, wow, this was actually like pretty healing for me and I'm like putting the pieces together of like maybe how I've navigated life, not having a dad and compomensating for that. So Kenny and Lindseay decide, maybe we should like get some drinks and like really talk about this one on one Yeah, it was nice to see them bonding over it. I will say it is like Kenny so clearly does not understand like does not have the emotional depth to understand Lets see when he's like, I don't know. like I don't my dad, we just kind of like grew apart when I was fourteen and Lindseay's like, my mom is a narcissist. Like Lindseay is so mad, which like I don't say' a criticism of Lindseay. It's just like so Kenny is like so out of his depth in this conversation. Like the way he's approaching this is just so funny to me to watch, but at the same, like I think it's a nice storyline. I'm enjoying watching it Yeah, yeah. I still don't quite trust Kenny. Did you see one hundred percent? I didn't see online, but I was watching this. I was like, this is when the wife picks up and's like, we've been looking for you. I was like, Well, did you see what his brother said? No, what did he say? His half brother basically was like, you told me that you were going to try to find our dad and then you did and didn't tell me that. And then you met up with him. and I just feel like you kind of left me high and dry and I feel like you've only did this for the show Did this brother find out via the television show that this happened? I believe so, yeah So he'si I as I don't know I can buy that they've like had a legitimate reunion, but that it maybe happened three months before filming started Yeah, I mean, my hot take is that I do believe Whitney is part of Kenny's package of presenting himself? on the show. I don't think he wanted to come on the show as a single man And I think that's like what he was trying to do U he's weird. He like I am really enjoying watching him, but when you like pull back a layer, he's weird. He moves very weirdly. He does And I'm clocking it I'm cloc. Steve a Job. Wh whoo has legit money on this show? Ien have real jobs. He works he's like an investor. He's like a venture capitalist See, that could be fake or it could be Paris Hilton's husband. Yeah, it literally could be anything. L ye. like working in real estate, being, there's a lot of things. You know how I feel about real estate agents People assume you're always making money. There are certain jobs but people assume that you're making big money and it's like not necessarily I want to. I feel like I know where Kenny lives and Yeah, That's a very nice area. I'll to say Yeah I mean, he he presents well. And I want to be clear, I don't say that to shit on real estate agents. I just have known a lot of real estate agents when I worked in the palmy real estate industry who would sell one house for millions of dollars and have like all of this cash and live very lavishly and then have zero money. And like everything was just like dependent on selling this next house and they were really able to like present to a certain point. And then like they were always just like chase, you know what I mean? likeike chasing the next one. It was very that. I knew a lot of that type of thing, I just I don't want people to think I like disrespect real estate agents because it's a hard job that I could never do. thousand person. But yeah, I'm not a salesp. So those agents who got a good deal. They rented the Mercedes and that's, you know, they're like coming around the clients with the Mercedes, but they're going home to, you know, a modest more modest Part of the deal. Yeah It's part of the thing. Like if you have a ten million dollars house, you don't want to sell it to someone who isn't in your level. So they have to like project it's part of the business, you know They're influencers essentially basasically Basically Oh gosh. so after this, Nick and Ivon, know what I have to say Not to sell my business I find Nick very triggering because he looks exactly like the man who ruined me Well that's per like a nice guy and it pisses me off even more That's perfect because my mom's name is Yvan. And so I have spent the last couple weeks just feeling in a totally weird place like especially my mom's name is Yuvonne and like it makes no sense in the context of her name like as a Jewish woman of German immigrant parents like born in Southern America, like that her name is Yvan makes no sense. And then like for there to just be this another random Yvan that has popped up for me and it's all over my timeline. and I just It's been a lot for me. So this couple for us, it's tough about Oh gosh, but They decide we're going to do Celebration number three, we've had the big Mexican wedding. We had the courthouse legitimate wedding and now we're going to have an intimate Dinner party thing Now Yvonne mentions the budget because she just got laid off from her event planning job. So she's feeling you know a little bit like lost, a little like, this was my whole world and now all of it's gone And budget restraints, I guess. So she's kind of using this as A moment to remind herself who she is, which is wild considering what happens I felt for her when they were showing the pictures of her working, I was like, oh, she was like twenty four in like twenty thirteen. like when people were spending money on events in New York City. And she was probably like having so much fun getting insane budgets and then the pandemic happens and it just like never comes back. I feel like based on the pictures, they were like very twenty seventeen and I was like, I feel for her? like That's that's a tough industry because it's kind of you're like staring down the barrel. Yeah, the last of the Great Event planners of New York, That was like a dying era. It's gone. I mean, it really, you know, like the girls that they would write magazine articles about in Vanity Fair in two thousand four. Exactly. Exactly. U. Um, So yeah, I mean, Nick's like, cool, let's just do it. I'm happy to celebrate our love again, which again, LOL considering what happened do you like them? I like her. I find her energy to be a little confusing in a way I like chaotic in a way that I like. I'm never really sure which way she's gonna zigger'zag. That's exactly how I feel. Kyle ordered the drinks that I ordered last time I was there. O called a phone party. It was so good. I actually ordered it twice shout out to Softbar. That's a high compliment because you like to try different things. Exactly. And I wasn't trying to deviate. Wow. So Carl's like, how are things going? By the way, Carl looked the fuck good. Thank you very much want to put that on record. But he's like, how are you I was like, man, it's heavy Like I just feel like things didn't really feel real until Amanda left. And Carl's like, Okaykay, what is the deal with you guys? Like do you think that her moving out is actually going to work? L what What's What, Kyle Where do I live? What planet am I on? Because I don't live on the same one as Kyle's Amanda. When I listen to these two people talk, I'm like What I don't know. And here was here's the thing that I've been wondering this whole time. Okay When like Amanda, what's your thinking? Were you genuinely like, yes, I'm getting a year long lease on an unfurnished apartment, but I'm only going to be here for two months. Was that really what you thought when you signigned it Also like, why are you pretending like your boxes can't just your shit just can't be put packed up and put in your parents' basement in Newery? That's the whole point of your parents having a house in New Jersey. That has a basement still. Okay Yeah. That's a whole do you know what I would fucking do for my parents to have my childhood home with a basement for me to put shit in? Apparently she doesn't even like fucking in it Yeah, for those who don't know, there was a blind item that said that Wes already fucked somebody in the friend group This happened like a few days ago or the blind item came out a few days ago and that Amanda was like, okay, you can't talk to this girl anymore. But like, yeah, to your point, I'm not surprised because well one They never said they were exclusive. like They never They've always been very evasive about that. so I'm not surprised. like Yeah,anna will never are you kidding me? She is not asking him to put a label on shit. And then they're like, and she's still at the wedding with him? And I'm like, Yeahah, because that's her boyfriend. L what don't you guys get? right? She's just being a fucking loser. L I don't know. like That's her boyfriend, but that doesn't mean that's West's girlfriend. No, That's that's what we need to see the other half of. When when Lindseay at the reunion said did that when I was in college, that was the last thing that ever needed to be said about Wes and Amanda.. They are They are not nothing is sensical about them because they're acting like they're twenty two, but they're in their thirties. So it's disgusting A thousand percent, a thousand percent So Carl asks the question to Kyle Are you in love with Amanda? Kyle's like, I'm fighting for it. And Carl tells him Listen If I was in your shoes and I was married, I would fight to the death to try to keep that marriage. but you know, there's An part of me that's like you guys are really unhappy and the blindind are blind here, the blind leaning the blind here when it comes. I mean, we I will always, you know, give Carl credit for finding the nerve to call off the wedding. Like I don't I don't know how he did it. L I'll never know how he managed to make himself do that. But like listening to these two talk about facing the truth, I'm like, oh my God Oh my God, like when When Kyle saying that like I'm fighting for it, Somebody needs to be like, give me an example. A your sources, sir one example. What's one example of something that you've done? And I bet his thing would, well, I'm letting Amanda move out and find herself because it's only passive shit because he doesn't actually care about being married, just like she doesn't care about being married. These are the two most confounding people. Right, I thought it was They don't even fuck. They don't even fuck your If they were fucking, once again. Okaykay. I hate to say there's so much I can excuse with good sex. like or I can understand. L I can understand a lot of behavior like that dumbsshit people do because they're very attracted to one another. It's not good, but I'm at least like, well, yeah, like if Kyle and Amanda can't quit because they keep fucking. You know what I mean? L you know who I think like Kyle Mauricio actually like still have a sexual chemistry a little. you know what I mean? Like when there's like pool between two people. I'm I can usually be like, I see it. But like Ammerica apparently doesn't fuck these guys that she's like totally entangled with. It does I don't, I really don't understand the motivations I don't either. but I did find it very interesting that Carl was like, Hey in When I ended my relationship with Lindseay, I ended up being the bad guy. It's really tough But, you know, people had all their shit to say about me But listen The truth is always going come out, Kyle. like, wow You really knew that, didn't you? I mean, listen, we again Disclaimer that doesn't need to be disclaimed anymore. We know that Kyle's an objectively bad husband. We' been talking about this for years, but It is very interesting that he was like, people are going to see what's going on. and he was right Yeah, like Jess It is so crazy. It it really is. but I would like to end this scene by reiterating that Carl looked really hot m I'm proud of Carl. I'm happy for Carl. For our friend Kay's podcast, I read his book and I mean, I listened to it in like one and a half hours, like that's how long it was. but through some shit that I was I was surprised to hear and his addiction was like a lot worse than O like a lot more of like a class classic addiction than I realize because they just don't talk about it on TV, you know? Well, thank you, because that's about to be my husband. so thank you. Yeah, I know. that's your man. And as soon as everybody gets on board, we'll all be happier for it. U after this, Lindseay and Kenny meet up for drinks and she tells him the whole backstory about how by the time she was two and her brother was three, her mom was like,duces can't do it. And basically, her mom was like in and out, had this very frustrating adolescence until Lindseay at twenty two. made a decision. She said, I'm going to dive into work and not deal with my mother. I'm going Stop putting myself in positions where I'm constantly rejected by her And wow, I mean, that was really like Not a villain in origin story, but like a hubhouse in origin story Really incredible. And when I was watching this, I was thinking, there is a certain type of woman on reality television who I will just want to watch forever. And it's a woman who has incredible amount of self awareness about her life, but also level of delusion that keeps me on my toes And like Lindsey's sharing all of this. I'm like, this is incredible. And then she goes to like, and then Carl and my baby's father abandoned me and I was like, there she is. I love it. Like I love it. Like because what she says what she says about her mom is so thoughtful and adds so much context to her for me. And like the stuff she shared about how hurtful it is again now that she has Gemm up I loved it and like like a Bethany Frankl, a Kayle Lowry, a Kristin Dotie, like who can like really access. their life, but then still doesn't like change a lot of their behavior in a way that I find so fun to watch on TV. And this I think this is like a masterclass of this because I watch this and I feel riveted and I feel empathy for her and then at the end I laugh a little because I'm like, girl, come on I love that. What more can you ask for? I truly love that she sat there and told Carl that Sharon was dancing on the grave of their marriage when she went down to Mexico U, to their location that they were supposed to get married. That was so funny When she said, I wish her the baby's father would have filmed. I don't remember his name is and she doesn't use it on the show. Turner, right? I when she's like I mean, we had differences, but I thought we would compromise on them. And I'm like I would have killed to hear some of those fights Go ahead Mo to be in the room, to be in the room. And like to be fair to her, it seems like this is kind of best case scenario as far as entering a co parenting situation, right? And honestly even sometimes a a parenting together situation and a relationship from what we seeen on reality TV. It does seem like Lindsy is in a pretty good place with that and I give her a lot of credit for that. and I think that Her not having a baby until she was in her late thirties was very beneficial for that, you know what I mean? Like I think she has a level of maturity in her life now Diet. she didn't have before and I think that's so helpful. And I just like She just is still her and I love it. And I like I respect her and at the same time, I'm like Your truth is not the real truth sometimes And you know, who amongst us Who amongst us and being able being willing to share that. And that's really what the difference between her and Danielle is is that Lindsay understands We want to hear this stuff and she understands that we want the good and the bad and she's willing to give it Exactly, exactly. And we love her. We truly love her Keddy does say, you know, I also had some abandonment issues, but like You know He mentions that he had an engagement that didn't work and then he lost his mother and that was kind of a lot. So They kind of agree on the fact that they like to push people to see if they're going to stay in their lives And, you know, I Obviously that has not really worked for Hubs. No, this reminded me a lot of like Lindsey and Kyle together where It's like justust two energies that are very made for reality television and I really like when I'm watching them get along, but I also do really like to watch them fight. And' I don't think this show would work without Kenny. Like Lindseay and Kenny like they' playing. there like You know I love when someone comes to play. Like and Kny Kenny just wants to play and Lindseay just wants to play and there's something to be said about that. And the reason it's so hard to watch Amanda is because Amanda doesn't play. L yeah, exactly, exactly. So Kenny and Lindsy do like, you know, they connect a little bit more. It seems like they're on good footing. He we'll see if he still brings up the fact that Lindssey simply asked, Are you going to marry this woman because you moved her in across the country To be fair, she was being I'm on I the whole time Lindseay does like she's doing with Danielle. I do wish Lindseay does this thing where she won't just admit what she's doing where she's like giving people a hard time. But here's the thing. I don't think Lindsey, you know, Lindsey's a tough braad. so I don't think you know, she said it that way. I think she asks questions and does not see that people might not They might need a little loop before we get into it, but Lindsay's just straight in And I don't think she want to be mean, but I think she's just like, what why you handle it? No, no, that's why she truly. She when somebody says to her Why are you judging me if you have a baby within like two days of knowing a guy? She's like, what does it have to do with the price of tea in China. L they they are unconnected in Lindseay's world. Yeah. And I love it God blesser. So then we get to Nick and Yvon's event and we're at this like gorgeous space that she redid. It's like drapery, beautiful, candles everywhere Perfect, like you know long table should be very lovely They're meeting downstairs first at the bar and Amanda is now caught first caught, but this is now the second time where she and Kyle are separated. They both show up at an event. And rather than just being like, hey Kyle and saying it yourself, she's like Kyle, hi, Kyle. hi Trying to draw the that she thinks that Kyle's ignoring her and he's not. You're underselling it. Hi, Kyle Hi Kyle L doing like why I just her choices are so crazy and How much adal sh it? Like something is not right in the world of Amanda. and I know I just said I walked a recovery journey and I don't relate as much to Carl as I do to Amanda because Amanda is me at like the height of addiction. And like I'm not saying she's an addict, but like something is not right with her. L she the way I'm not saying it's like mental health and we need to forgive her, but like She is fucking weird. Her behavior is bizarre I literally wrote. Why yell his name rather than just saying hi you weirdo Yeah or can I get a high? Like I like you you she you slide up to them and give them a little side hug and go, oh, so I'm not getting a high not like I don't she's just so weird. I just feel like it's another instance of her trying to make Kyle look bad. And like for weird reasons. like, but like I'm gonna be so loud and make it seem like Kyle walked in this room and didn't say hi to me When I h first and I didn't do anything I hate it so much because I hate Kyle and think he said horrific husband and like, I should be on Amanda's side. And then she does this dumb shit. And I'm like, can you just stop like If you just were acting normal here L like you don't know everybody sees Kyle and this comes out during the fight like that they are about to have. like everybody agrees with Amanda. like everybody sees it Amanda, but like you will not just accept your victory. You are like doing this insane humiliation ritual that You've been trying to do for seasons and seasons, you're just finally doing successfully, I guess So she thinks. But that's why the I guess at the end of itt like She ye. and then for her to say in a confession like I'm dedicated to trying to not make things awkward for everyone, like no, you're not. You're actually doing the opposite Does she believe a word that is coming out of her mouth? I can't tell And that be better if she did or I don't know. I don't know. I do. I want your listeners to know that I believe that at the core of all of this is Amanda is a person who fucking hates herself, like hates herself deeply, deeply, deepep have to. And any hit of external validation, especially when it comes to like a romantic or sexual partner is so titillating to her and so intriguing and gives her such a shock of joy for a moment and like a relief from that self hatred. It's like it's truly cutting is like her you know like all of her behavior like someone who cuts themselves. like that's what she's doing with West. And like watching it for me is like physically painful because it's It's so unnecessary and outrageous and she is the only one making her life hard. Absolutely Kyle sucks. He walks right into why every single time he allows her to like have Like Both of them act like they're being held hostage by the other Mhm in a way that I find infuriating Yeah, but yeah, Amanda knows exactly what she's doing exactly what she did at the summer house night dinner when they found out he was going to DJ in Vegas and they thought every everybody was like, oh, is this about to be a residency? and it was one night And she was like, I'm not gonna to say anything about that. so I'm just gonna let everybody go off on him. So it's her version of him sayaying out on I ignoring her phone calls. L like It's her. It's the thing that she knows triggers him the most just like he knows that triggers her the most. You know, like every single time both of them fall for it with the other Yeah Absolutely, absolutely The food comes out, it looks incredible. I just wan to say, by the way, if you were in like a real friend group, I was lookingucky at this dinner being like, this would be a lovely place to have a formal dinner. Everybody looks fabulous. So By the way, I don't think Amanda heard, did you notice Danielle immediately went back at Kyle went You're drunk all the time. Yep. Nobody acknowledged that. She snapped at him so quick for that and she fucking hates Amanda. I was like, Danielle's real for that. But the interesting thing is Kyle did say, Daniee, you drink more than me, which to go back to our conversation Um, I mean, listen, I I'm gonna say it. because Carl certainly wasn't But it seems very clear in his book that he was trying to keep it cute about somebody in the summer house being very, u likeike his drinking partner M and very willing to like be in the cups with him He did not say who it was I felt like it was Danielle. We noticed this years ago and it was never a hot topic of conversation, but she would always talk about her hair of a dog and she would shock on a fucking beer at nine AM and like constantly. and I'm sorry, that is not Normal behavior in your thirties. To be regularly doing that all of the time is not normal behavior. That means you are drinking at a pretty high level. And I will say I think she's drinking it seems like she's drinking a little less when in this the city, but I think it's just because we're not seeing her in the mornings probably Right. So I did think that was there were two interesting things that were said that kind of came you under the radar. But I just mean in terms of like Danlle sicking out for Amanda, don't like I don't think Amanda even heard it. And she should have turned over around and been like, actuallyct thank you, Danielle. There's no reason for you to be sticking out for me, but you spoke truth. Yeah. No. She doesn't hear anything that like No An. She doesn't hear anything. Yeah. I really could have just stopped there. So we saw two weeks ago, Kyle was playing pool with Gavin. He says, she smokes sweed every night. She's been doing that for two years. And what do you think that does to your sex life? What do you think that does to your ability to have a conversation with your partner? And I'm thinking of somebody who partakes U Neither of those things really should be a problem. In fact, it need to be an enhancement if anything. like yeah, no, I don't I'm like, I don't That's the issue. Do I think that maybe Amanda is I think especially now, Amanda probably smokes way too much weed and it hurts her and it probably does hurt her relationship. I don't have rumors about me when I'm getting high. Like Kyle does. I'm like, well, you don't leave the house. So there is that, but But I say. But she's also not wrong. And that is has always been her thing that it's like, I just want you to change this behavior of being blackout drunk after eleven PM every night. L like this one specific thing. and by the way, the idea that there's like a narrative that Kyle drinks too much because of Amanda, like there's a narrative that Kyle drinks too much because we of eyes and ears, and I've watched him on television for many, many, many years. Like that's why there is a narrative of that because that is the truth and that doesn't negate the fact that Amanda is like the most emotionally vacant cruel You know, like both of those things are true. Like I think Kyle saying at some point This is not an excuse, but I think it opened my eyes a little bit more to the dynamic of Kyle saying, You're mentioning all these nights where I go out and I crash out and whatever, but these are also nights where you've promised to go out with me and then at the last minute, you say no And I'm not saying his reaction is good, but G you a ton of contxt He feels punished by her and she likes to punish him. And it's like, It's so It's so toxic and Kyle, what gets me with Kyle is that he refuses to admit any of this. Like he He is acting like he has no idea how he is in the place that he is in at all Like he simply has woken up here and that's always been this way. They got married when they fucking hated each other. Like what did he say Is somebody like I think it's okay if you get married and things aren't like great Did he say that in an episode earlier? I like probably. Like I think he said that to like Kenny or one of those people. and like his mindset is insane and he wants me to feel bad for him and it's like, All I see that Amanda's very cruel to you and I do feel bad for you, but I feel bad for you the same way that I feel bad for her because of your behavior. And both of you at any time could have called Uncle. Now another thing that happened that I feel like a lot of people didn't pick up on Katie De Luca said something in this moment Oh yeah, we then said Um Kyle, I think somebody says like, I feel like Kenny. I think Kenny says I feel like Amanda's not as present in this relationship and then Katie Deluca's like not present. He was out until three in the morning and then he brought people back to the office which is a distinction Because Amanda has been saying you brought random people back to our house, but Katie said you brought them back to the office, which is next door to their apartment I with this one, I'm on Amanda's side. I hear what people are saying when people criticize with Amanda with this and that she's like mincing words, but at the same time, I'm like I just think it's like the overall concept that like and that he like brings he's famous and he brings random people into their private space. And that is crazy to me and always has been Well, but I get like I get the criticism. I get what people are saying. I just like To me In the context of like everything we've seen Kyle do, I don't like I don't really hold him this one against Sabanda I I feel like there's more context given that this was Marathon weekend. She was supposed to go out with him and didn't. Who knows when she planned this moving thing? She probably planned it intentionally the same weekend that she knew. Oh she definitely did. She definitely did in the marathon of it all. It would have gone a long way inside like she still would have moved but it would have meant a lot to her. I don't I don't think that's like the way that she is, but I think that she tells herself that I think she would have been willing to and I think You know, like if push came to shove and he was like, yeah, you gott to do that Obviously she would not have wanted to, but I think that's probably an abandonment thing for her of like, Damn, I was willing to give something up and you still didn't want this. So the only reason that I think that it's the like I think The way that she like describes just cutting her mom off at twenty two, like I I just think she's a person that like, looks out for number one, and I don't believe that she would want to be with a man who asked her to give up her career and I don't really think she would offer it Hm And like I think that she like like I think in her mind, she's probably like, well,'ll just do the show and I like won't post on social media. Like, o God Upstairs, they're like Lindsey, are you okay? She's still sobbing. It was actually very surprising. Like we have seen this woman broken at this dinner in a way we have never seen Lindssey Hubard before. She cannot tighten up I think that she is like must be having a true like this is the first like heavy, heavy emotional moment I've had outside of like my daughter and my ex in the last year and a half since becoming a mother. You know what I mean for now guys. Like Charlie, like Charlie and like like she's, I think she's being forced to maybe reflect in a way that she just like hasn't been because she's been focused on like, her daughter and her daughter's father, you know? And like now she does have these extra emotions for being a mom and we know that she's like a little rawn vulnerable. and I think we're seeing like Pbably as cheesy as it sounds, like what she's always felt. but like just like didn't have access to and didn't like openly feel that becoming a mother is probably allowed Hm Yep Yeah. And this is what I mean by I feel like I'm finally feeling that there are storylines outside of Amanda and Kyle because despite the fact that like Amand and Kyle were obviously the main focus of this fight, like the Danielle of it all, the Yvan of it all, the Lindsey of it all, I'm intrigued by the non Amanda and Kyle elements, which was not happening so much until maybe the last two episodes. aggreree. agreed Georggina tries to reset the move, tries to do a little positive speech, but then Kyle comes back upstairs and he apologizes and he's like, listen, I appreciate everyone's concern. And Amanda says, I just wanted to clear his name. and Daniel's like, whyy does he even have to do that? And Lindsey's like, whyy is he on this fucking show then? whyy are you on the fucking show And an nails like, Oh There it is. That's what it is That's it And Linday's like, no, I'm just saying if y'all want to talk about your life, why are you here That is the most classic Danielle thing, by the way, where like Everybody is yelling at her about something and she hears something else. and it's like, o, okay, and everyone's like gets even madder because that's not what they're mad about. And she like starts insisting it is. That was the whole thing with like the engagement party fights. it's just like, Danielle just like hears something and everybody else is like, what are you talking about Right Right. She thinks that this is purely wrapped up in Lindsey not wanting her on this show which I'm sure there' a ele bit of merit. S Sure, it's not that it is impossible But if Danielle was being truthful She would have been from the beginning like Lindsey, I know you don't like me and I think that you're trying to make me look bad. And yeah, I want to come on this show and be honest, but I refuse to give you the satisfaction in doing that. You know what I mean? Like she's acting like she I had no clue this would ever happen. You came on reality television with a married boyfriend. It's like it's just really weird how defensive you guys are. I'll just say that So Ky was like, owen speak He says I got married in twenty twenty one and I had my wedding in twenty twenty three and that's it and the divorce is filed And Gavvin's like, you could have just said that from the beginning. That's really easy In the beginning I'd be shady when I ask you a direct question. So Danielle's like, well, there are legal things going on that we can't talk about. So if you think it's he's being dodgy fine, I don't care It just matters that my future, like we don't talk about specific things. that are regarding his divorce Which by the way, everyone would understand on then she just says that. They all like that is that makes total sense. Like yeah, he was married for four years. It's pretty messy. He doesn't want to talk about it because he doesn't want it to be an issue in his divorce And everyone goes, okay Yeah, she's telling Amanda, if you had seen the email that I get You would understand exactly why. And it's like, well, we don't need to see that. All we needed was what you just said. It's messy. We can't really talk about this So that, but also like You can talk about the timeline. That's fine. And then she screamed, I've never been happier with my married boyfriend It's your tough moments, I'd say Let's him gets a lick in about Danielle, Remind yourself how you treated me when I was engaged to Carl And D I was like, you don't even care about my wellbeing. It's insane And Lindsy's like, well You haven't changed, so thank you for proving that in what you just said Why did Danielle think Kur and Lindsseay would be friends again? I don't know. And this was her other mistake that's been annoying me all season as she walked here being like he mad at me. I haven't I spoke to her once after she had her baby and then I've been responding to her and she hasn't said anything, She hasn't replied and now we're on this show and she's still not speaking to me. What could the problem be I just can't imagine what it would be Oh, was it all the shit that I said when she was engaged to her? Oh And even beyond that, the two of you are not like friend like you shouldn't be friends actually. Like your dynamics were weird and like never very positive for either one of you, I don't think. Like Daniel What is something that I feel like Lindseay could also say about her which is that you only wanted me to be in this space a little bit below you and not doing better than you. and now you see me happy and both of them for sure Yeah, I fully thought I had this thought about both of them. At one time, like I thoughtw the same thing when Danielle found out that Carl and Lindseay got engaged. she felt like, oh, this pitch isn't supposed to be doing better than me because she was still with Robert at the time. And she was like, I don't care about getting married. I don't care about getting engaged, but like can we get a dog? Can we buy an apartment? Like there was obviously that was right before they broke up too Right. Like that was bad She didn't want to be like, we're not she knew that they weren't getting engaged because their relationship was bad, but she did want something to solidify them. And she was scrambling And and I clocked that at the time. I think she also knew that with Lindseay in a series partnership Lindsy's not a person that has like a million very close people to her and like, What is Danielle's role for the television show if Lindsay has a husband? You know what I mean? L? These are two girls that were like, they met each other single, they met each other Tactittity relationships. and it was like, ye, we can be besties through this, but like Yeah it's like you get a serious boyfriend. it's like, hold on. And I will say personally, I feel like that's more of Danielle's issue than Lindsey's I think so too, but it's because I think Danielle feels a little more than Lindsey. I don't I think that I think actually what it is that Lindseay is more friends and is like more popular and satisfied in her life. And so Danielle feels a lot more. I think Danielle feels very insecure around Lindseay in a way that Lindsey finds Danielle very annoying and like unhelpful to her and disloyal. And you know what I mean? Like And I don't necessarily I think that both of those outlooks for each other are unhealthy, and that's why they were not good friends Fully, fully agree U So yeah, I mean, there's really no resolution there U I mean, there's really no resolution anywhere. which thank God, thank God, what's a resolution? None at all. Danielle says in a confessional, I was Lindseay's Rider dy for years. and then I started grow out and I think that's where we started having our fall falling out because she doesn't like when you're not like radiating positive reviews about her And here's the thing, Danielle's right, but at the same time, it's like Yeah, but what does that say about you? Like why were you like sucking Lomsy's ass for years. Like you have no reflection in that at all. Do you know what I mean? Like it's like, well, She doesn't like it that I'm speaking up now. And it's like, okay, so I want you to fall like finish that thought. Why were you not speaking up? What's different now? Do you know what I mean? It's just a very like Bad Lindsay, me good Yeah agree. Where it's like I think I do think Lindsey, like I'll never forget the famous blindsided podcast when she went on Nick V's podcast. And she was like, it's really nice to have Danielle like back in step with me. It's like yeah, I know that you feel that way. Like like she does do that with Danielle Danielle is not incorrect, but I think that Like actually I think Yvonne is kind of a good example of like her and Yvonne met at a similar time, but they seem to be real friends and like actually navigating these life changes where Lindsey and Danielle just fought and like blew up at each other and like they didn't have a true friendship underneath and they don't like each other underneath. whereere I think like Lindsey Yvonne like each other and want to figure it out Mmhm Yeah, I fully agree Oh gosh. they're going to Mexico though or wherever they're going. They've, you know That's where they end. They go, we all hate each other but we should take a trip I think we're going to Connecticut Oh, I don't know why I said Mexico.
