I feel like we're in for a good second season when There's a lot of things that happened win seasons one and two, like after season one and we're catching up on a lot of stuff, a lot of Dynamics and this is exactly what happens. so let's get into it. We're starting off with such interesting Graphics choices, we're seeing creators superimposed into battery park City and onto random buildings in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Shout out to Brooklyn And they're all talking about Charlie's U legal issues and Aam' breakup Ava getting evicted. A lot's g on. So I guess Aira has taken the place of our Brooks, I feel like Brooks was the kind of like the what do you call the narrator of last season. No shade to Brooks I have met him. He's a lovely boy But we did't need to wake it up a little bit. I mean, Brooksie's a little little sleepy ittle RM cycle. so G synergy that Emira's Instagram handle happens to be XOXO Emira. Great tie in Welcome back to New York And New Jersey. Gia Mira says, if you can believe it, the group has somehow gotten even more chaotic. Charlie had an interesting summer Most people saident it in Hamptons, Charlie almost spent it behind bars Boks Real exciting updates with him. He has really gotten into sourdough Riley is gone. We don't see her at all the first episode. Emira says she's in Asia, but then Ariana later says she's in Atlanta. So I'm wondering did Riley not want to come back to the show and then she decided to, I'm not sure Because usually like when somebody's not there They mention her l here and there, but not. really so much that made me think that she had made the decision to come back to this show. But here we are. We really start off with Ariana, Ari and Emira are friends. So we're doing a little diva check in on our girl Miss Beierman, how you do and how are we feeling? And Ariana replies, Diva D down. I want to take Ariana under my wing, should I Something about her. somethinghing about her. Ariana said last year I had this big idea of starting a clothing line It definitely really hurt my feelings when Ava was saying that I didn't dress like somebody who would have a fashion line. but then I was like, oh shit maybe you're right. Like I don't have the best style. I know it But I'm not gonna give her the satisfaction of thinking I cancel my line because of her. Hudson and I were facing problems in our relationships, so I couldn't imagine going into business together on top of that Not surprising. Taes oldest time. We have a wide eyed and excited couple moving to New York and they're like, this is going to be our forever. And then You know, it only takes about a year before you guys break up They've come back together since then, but I can't say that I'm surprised. Like you You got to have a real strong constitution to move to New York in your twenties as a couple, live the New York life to its fullest and come out still together So she's moving out of their big ass apartment and over to Brooklyn. She got a deal with roadway moving. and because of that, she had to post the move And because of that, that's how people found out that she was breaking up Did I happen to be like the first content creator who saw that roadway moving Anddam was like, oh they broke up And I posted a yes I'm gonna I will raise my hand and say, yep, that was me. I caught that at about thirty six views and I was like, hello. . They're broken up, you guys The way and I actually told Ariana and Hudson is like, you guys, I'm forty and I gotta tell you when people my age found out that Yll broke up, they were down real bad And they thought that was funny. They seem really nice, I gotta say But all three of us are Georgia girls. L I grew up in between the towns. like Ariana lived on one side, the town next to it, and then Hudson lived on the other and I was in the middle. So all we were bonding over that So anyway, the roadway moving posts led to them being like, you know what? maybe we should just make like an official Instagram announcement that we broke up. So they posted on their stories and that leads us to Georgia. Georgia' popping around on a call, by sell, by sell, budgets, whatever numbers, we got to call people back But she lets us know that she went from being somebody who was like barely online to super public. Georgia is one of those The app. There's like a specific kid who lived in New York social media behavior, they're not like the influencers. They're real private Like, you might get like six posts out of like a rich New York kid. Maybe they've got a Fina, maybe not, but like their cache is kind of like not really being online like that, not really having a big social media presence, which is notot what you would think. It was very interesting So going from little social media presents to being super public, obviously, people had a lot of comments about her body on the show that were rude and terrible Georgia already had issues with her eating. so she then went to inpatient an inpatient program She said, it really felt drastic at the time but actually it was the best decision of my whole life. So you guys are now seeing me in a much better place. I've grown up quite a bit Now, unlike Georgia not really loving the attention, Ava, Dash, lets us know, she actually loves it. She loves the headlines that come out about her and her family, which is wild because all the headlines that pop up about her and her family are mostly about her father being broke and in bankruptcy again in debt again Like this is a perpetual issue for the man who remind us created and built Rockefeller records. this man should not be anybody's version of Broke. He should be making twenty five million a year. And yet, somehow here we are He's homeless and toothless, it appears. I don't know where this man's teeth has gone, but at one point last year, There was a viral video where it was some Go off on somebody about something. I can't remember what the subject was. and then his tooth popped out. It popped right out of his mouth and then he tried to act like that wasn't what happened. And he was really trying to correct the situation in real time. But I mean, it was unmistakable. It was his front tooth We all saw it fly out. We all saw the Naked gum, the raw gum that was left and he really tried to clean up because I think he was on a lotive. It's not good. Anyway, Ava says she loves the headlines about her, which I think is a very good thing to Put a pin in Ava, because everything that you say after this doesn't really make sense So we see headlines about her daddy's bankruptcy debt. We see headlines about her getting evicted. Ava says, I think it's funny at the end of the day. Some things are so wrong. It's just like whatever, but some things are actually really right. And I'm like, how the fuck did they know that To be clear, I was not evicted. I may have gotten a notice. Wh hasn't So Ava and Georgia are friends now, which I find interesting Interesting. They catch up for lunch And Ava has a boyfriend named Hook now? so George's like, how's Hook doing? it's like, great, he's on a tour. He's in Kansas City right now. And then they're going back and forth of like, is Kansas City in Kansas or is it in Missouri Fortunately One of the robots hooked them up to let them know it is Missouri So Georgia then asks Ava, have you seen Charlie? Because apparently, Charlie and Ava not only live in the same building, they live on the same hallway, and Ava's like literally, I never see that man And Georgia like well Maybe you don't see him ' for the past couple of months, he was at that torture house living there So then we see Ava and Georgia in joint conffessionals. I love these friend confessionals. They're very fun. Ava says she and Georgia became friends. He he knew both of them. He was friends with both of them. They became friends together and now neither of them are friends with Charlie. Thank God But they also had issues with him predating him getting caught up in a, you know, crypto torture scam. So there's like a lot of things going on that are anti Chlie behavior. againgain Thank God Ava is feeling some type of way because Charlie was making comments about her body on the show, which hook and Damon Dash didn't appreciate. And then Charlie went on to befriend Georgia's weird ass pseudo boyfriend from last year, the guy Omar who walked around with a beat up briefcase and wore the same suit and like every like everywhere he went, he was in that same ill fitted suit. in the briefcase. Clearly giving scammer. Oh now Charlie, he and Charlie are besties now. Even though Omar like literally left her in Asia or something She was like dependent on him financially. He cut off access to his credit cards and like left her there. So she completely crashed out. And George is upset because apparently her business concept of like I don't know. premium cool bowling alleys or Private members, clubs doing interesting things from the eighties. OMar's now trying to seal that business model So They're mad at Charlie And That seems valid, right? But then they switch topics to Ariana and Hudson's coordinated breakup story And it was like, what are you Kate Middleton? Wh cares I've never seen that before. But then Georgia says, S, when I break up, I take it to social media and I'm on Xanx and in a foreign country. And Ava's like, Oh, you did do that I love the moments when friend is trying to talk shit about somebody else and then you realize that your friend has engaged in damn near the same behavior and then you have to be like, o right. yeah. But like when you did it, it was different So anyway, Georgia and Ava start being haters about Ariana and Hudson's breakup and that they think it's so weird that they would post it on Instagram. and okay You guys want to be talk about it and now we're talking about it. and they both clap like sarcastically, but you guys are the ones who are giving them the attention. Your actor like, they're so desperate, but y'all are the ones talking about it and being like, I have never in my life seen people announce their breakup on Instagram. That's so crazy Okay Then we go to cooking in the kitchen with the markarks, siblings, Chloe and Brooks are making some sourdough. Brooks says, listen Chloe, I was surprised, let me do it. I was surprised that they did a statement and Chloe's like, me too because it's frankly no one's business, but Mayaking it public does open the door for other people's opinions and questions There are going to be people who think it's not real and Brooks, you need to tell her so that she can be prepared And we see Ariana standing outside of Hudson's, her former apartment, waiting for her Toyota Highlander Uber to pick her up She's got a what do they call those like a squishmallow? In her hands, ug boots, some black leggings, a big ass aloe bag on her shoulder. twow dogs are waiting. She's like, I feel like Carrie Bradshaw I don't know why she'd have a way better outfit I I need to mentor this girl With what? I honestly don't know I honestly don't know, but I'm feeling very maternal I feel the same way about Riley, but you know, Katy's got her. She's good over there, but you know, Ariana, I feel like I could do something with. So Ariana lets us know in terms of her relationship with hand, husband, Hudson, they met when she was fourteen. She's like, I love that boy ever since then. and he would always call me when he was like down mad and needed somebody to talk to. and I would always be there for him, but then I started realizing, he was never there to lift me up when I was down. He was never there for me So then we head over to Amira's apartment. She's getting glam done, telling her assistant, as soon as I get out of this chair, please take a list of all the things I need to do. Okay. I need to brush my teeth again. I need to re put in my context. Altruistic tk tks. We did not get an explanation as to what those were But she put that on the list. And then she starts calling herself Slave Araham Lincoln good for her. She's on the way to a Victoria's Secret show. So she calls Brooks in the car She's got a birthday party coming up. She's like, Hey, Brooks, I invited everybody, including Hudson. I did ask Arianna before, like would you be uncomfortable if he showed up? And she said, no, Feel free to invite him So Brooks is like, that is Charlie gonna be there? And Amira says, I did invite Charlie. and Brooks is like, Oh I'm not so excited about seeing him Last year's behavior cracked a lot of my friendships and I don't want to lose those people I'm close with Amira, however, is like, well, Charlie and I have been friends for so long and I feel like I had to invite him. But then she says in a conffessional, I do feel some level of responsibility to try to figure out and mend What's going on between Brooks and Charlie? And I can understand why Brooks is feeling how he does. Charlie hasn't put himself in the best position and he hasn't put built friendships with everyone But at the same time, everyone should just give him a chance to explain his side of the story And I'm going to play referee. L Okay, crypto torture house aside, Charlie was a big dickhead. He was racist to Riley. and yeah, it sounds like something in that fucked up Brooks' relationship with Riley. And I wouldn't appreciate that either. Now my eye And I got my clipboard out because I'm really ready to give it a deerit over this allegiance to the loser that is Charlie. I don't know what I don't get it. I'm hoping to, I guess. I honestly, I'm hoping you jump ship. But here we are Speaking of deemerits, we go back to Ava in Georgia and we find out that Ava's got another issue this time with Gia D it Now she says, I feel like I'm going to walk into the linen at Amir's birthday party because Long story short, Gia was on Nick Wild's podcast and Ava, I guess had said in an interview or somewhere out there in the universe that Teresa Judiz followed and unfollowed her on Instagram And then Gia said that was a lie and then A was also upset with Arianna because Arianna said she was like a mean girl So she's mad at them So Amira is mad at Georgia because Georgia said, o, Eurozempic ran out. So Amira feels like Georgia Fat shamed her on national television and the bitch can rotten hell. So there's a lot going on. And then we see Charlie stopping around downtown, pretending to be cool, wearing his sunglasses at night And as he's walking, there's a bunch of graphics of him being spotted oututside of that crypto torture house And he says I'm aware that TikTok's been saves some shit about me. sir, ye, so is New York magazine. They did a h write up about this house I would check it out if you got the credit for the month or if you subscribed. just look up New York magazine crypto Trture house and it'll pop right up long story short for those who don't want to read the lengthy story. how do I goh How do I do this quickly? Basically one guy Scams with his father, there's a lot of like ponzi scheming, shoring up money for companies that don't exist, type shit. This dude was a menace. L growing up would get kicked out of one private school after the other and his parents would just get into one. you know like rich kid who had no boundaries, no rules and just like was weird. So he and his dad do some scammy shit and that leads him to This scammy shouldn't happen in Europe. He comes back to America Somehow is able to get another bundle of money and then he links up with some other dude So now these two weirdos decide that they need to like go into business with each other. These are like young dudes, right? They at one point on their misadventures go to Oklahoma, I think. Somewhere random, no shade, but Kentucky maybe. He it was Kentucky. but They buy like the biggest house in whatever state and they end up being like weird Like really weird in this mansion, hoarding up Guns, artillery. real paranoid I don't know what happens, but they end up moving up to New York. They move to Nolita, they buy they rent this house. Yadda yadda yada, they find some Italian gentlemen who had a bitcoin that they felt like they deserved. And so they kidnapped him, left him in this townhouse, would tie him to office chairs, take blackmail videos of him in varying states of undress with women and like weird sexual things and having him cook crack in an air fryer. and they took all these videos under the guise of like a contingency plan. like we're gonna show these videos look like he's having fun He was not having fun likeike obviously, how can you say this man is having fun and he was there of his own volition? He's in an office chair literally bound to it. He can't leave That's not like fun on a Friday night. Anyway, Charlie comes in, not with the crypto aspect of it, because Charlie, you don't have money. You're broke That's why you didn't get into this part, but he, I guess was the Honeypot, I guess you want to call it, they would he would like bring the bitches to the crib basically. He would be there like party concierge, he would go to Brandy Melville in So ho. and the girls there knew Charlie would come in so frequently, they'd be like, what's the unk doing there He's dribling the ball with everything on the line. I remember thinking like, oh they look so nice. Like o I wonder who lives in these townhouses? Like I'm so curious Well, maybe four days later, I found out that, you know, the Italian man had broken He had escaped and tried to find the nearest cop to be like, help help. I've been Well I thought there were very lovely things happening there. Ts out it was absolutely the opposite. So we go to Charlie's dumbass and he says he doesn't read. He's not on TikTok, so we don't see anything negative about him. And so he only sees the positive things, which I'm like Charlie was saying positive things on the internet about you What part of the internet did you find that Charlie says with no sense of irony whatsoever that basically any negativity that might be out there that he sees with his eyes just turns into Hieroglyphics So he's good. Nhing's touching this man And then the horror story of Next gen and NYC season two begins because Charlie lets us know Not only did he call Hudson to check in out him with the breakup A producer says in a confessional, I have to say you two are the two most unlikely duo of human beings. And Charlie's like, I couldn't disagree more. I actually think we're the most likely duo I'm inclined to take a Hudson under my wings He's like a sweet borderline two nice billionaire. and I think he needs me in his ear. Like I'm not this are perfect, but there are ways in which He could benefit from my very smart and critically thought out advice. Charlie, all you want to do is run That man's pockets dry until Hudson and or the manager of his estate figures it out Get away from him, Hudson This is literally the worst type of person that you could ever be in community with. Charlie is like, I don't know I know why I find him so triggering because I know this exact type of dude in New York. The dude who was close enough, like he made enough, his parents made enough money for him to like live a comfortable life. He could do the like rich kid things to an extent But like we saw his family dynamic, there really isn't a whole lot of love there. and I do have empathy for Charlie with regard to that. But Charlie's also like such an asshole and his damage that his parents have inflicted is now everybody's problem and he thinks he's the smartest guy in the world. He has zero ambition. He feels entitled to everything, money, accolades, clout, whatever without doing any of the effort And it's like the worst combination because he knows what it's like to have it, have things above other people, which is why he's constantly getting into fights with Georgia and telling her that she's poor and that he put her on the show. like He's got this power that he wields that actually isn't anything but he's got just enough to like be terrible and to get himself in these weird places. Like why do you think everybody realized last season He keeps taking us to the box and these private clubs and then suddenly he doesn't have any money. Suddenly when it's time to pay for bottle service, he's like, o, o my Veno doesn't work. You know whyy are we always paying for him when it comes to the end of the night when we agreed, Hey, we're gonna to split this four ways and now we got to split it three This is a type of dude like he gets he knows enough people to get you in and like think he's connected, but he doesn't actually have money. The emperor has no clothes And he's just going to hop from one person that he feels like is innocent, Hudson to the next person Take what he can and then off to the races somewhere else. I cannot stress enough how Charlie is literally the last person that Hudson needs to talk to or be friends Black him, bllack him right now out, let's go to New Jersey. We're checking in with Gia. She's finally moving out of Tereresa's place and into her own apartment notot with Christian. She's going to have a single girl moment for a bit And Gia's got some learning to do. I also thought that Gia lived in an apartment before this So I don't really know why we're doing like, oh, we're learning how to live on our own for the first time, but okay She does tell her momama, I'm just gonna steal some spices from you and Theerese is like, no, deer But you can have this and it's like How does she find so much leopard print kitchenware How's it possible A whole big ass bowl Gia, do you want this? No, I don't want this. Wine glasses. Do you want No, I don't want leopper print wine glasses. They're ugly. They're not ugly, Gia This leads us into the group chat because Ariana and Gia are moving at the same time. They're trying to figure out things like are we supposed to pay for inststalling our own internet? like how does that work And G is like, oh my go, do we have to do that? There's a group chat apparently with everybody on the cast except for Charlie, Charlie left, but nobody even acknowledged it. noobody even tried to add him back Gia and Ariana let us know the situation with Ava and them is that they went to a peopleople magazine party. they were back in the green room and Ava was in the corner taking selfies and not talking to everybody They were like it was giving self absorbed Thinking that she was like, who is she? America's next out model. and Arianna's like, Well, she kind of his. She's like really beautiful I think she's so beautiful. And sheia iss like, no, she's beautiful, but it's almost like she thinks she's better than us. So then we go back to Ava, who says that again, she's upset because Tsa followed and unfollowed her last year, then Gia said, I don't think that was true And she said, girl, I think you're just lying T Nick Vile She said, I know my mom. She doesn't really care that much to onfollow you. Ava says, I just don't want to be called a liar. And when your friends are talking bad about you in the public, it's not a good look. So we're gonna have to figure that one out And then we meet our new cast member, Liam. Liam definitely needs to make sure that he's not directly related to the Culkin family How he isn't, I'm not sure He's playing hockey when we first meet him. Brooks comes to the hockey rink to have lunch with him and have a little gab session. And they do ask Liam, have you seen heated Rrivalry yet? And he's like, I have yet to see it but I auditioned for it O, who did you audition for, the blond one And a producer says, oh, you would have had to do a Russian accent. And he's like, yeah, I think that's probably why I didn't get it I mean, no shhade to Liamb. He's cute He's cute, but he's like, slender hockey. This is not the Rosenov that we know with that fat ass and that juicy body and that fat ass and that fat juicy ass. So Liam, you didn't I mean, knowing what we got in Connor's story, I think they made the right casting decision. Roks lets us know that Liam's lore goes crazy. He was a Nickelodeon kid and he was on one episode of Law and Order I' even looked it up. He was on a couple shows in like twenty fourteen, twenty fifteen for Nickelodeon. There was one show called Every Witch Way, WITCH And a show called Talia in the Kitchen. So, good for him. I've never heard of those shows Even having aged out of the program, I was not watching Nickelodeon in twenty fourteen, obviously, but Still never heard of him anyway. Good for him. he's got the IMDB credits. That's my theory. But it's not a good theory because all this Kevin flirtation stuff we only see as a flashback and it was unaired footage. So You being like, oh well, this was aired on television doesn't quite make sense. unless you're saying she's really mad about this and she's making it about the authentic thing I don't know Hard to say Ava claims she's trying to confront Gia about being called a liar, but she doesn't really want to do it on somebody's birthday, even though that's exactly what you did last year. That part was really creepy. But the rest was funny. feel like Amira, Ava, and Georgia were like we're going come here with an agenda. We're all going to do our big one. We're going to pretend like Amira's birthday party is not the place where we would ever have conrontation But unfortunately, we have to. So Amir says, I'm gonna put my lig glass on and talk to Georgia And then she says I'm a wonderful friend, but I'm an incredible enemy, which I just felt like things that we think we're eating, but we're not.
