I haven't had one double pick. This snake ladder thing is only snake in me. Where people aren't who they say they are. But I'm gonna go straight in with Peter Schumann. Is that bull? And humiliation lurks around every corner. Cause maybe Only one thing can make the world make sen se . Big Mac Meal, extra chicken nuggets, large fries, chocolate milkshake. What? I'm just saying that's my go-to when I feel a bit overwhelmed with No. No, Ben . I'm trying to explain that often in times of hardship and struggle, we need an outlet, an escape, a passion. Well, McDonald's is often that place I feel most at home. I'm talking about rugby for fuck's sakes. Rugby is a thing that unites us, that brings us together. Oh yeah, for the love of rugby. So tonight, Birmingham, prepare to witness history. A one-of-a-kind competition with the world's greatest pla yers in a Grand Prix style roadshow. A tournament that is complete fancy is zero chance happening in real life. Oh no, that's the blurb for R360. So tonight, Birmingham, prepare to witness history. For the love of rugby draft enters its third year. There'll be blood, sweat, and tears. And that's just what will happen if we remind Chris Robbshaw about the 2015 World Cup. Without further ado, please welcome to the stage Dan Cole and Ben Youngs . Welcome to the 2026 Annual For the Love of Rugby Draft. This year we are hosting it at the fantastic Birmingham Town Hall in front of an audience of you. Yes, you are THB podcast listeners. I, myself, Dan Cole, I' yourm reigning champion, f ighting once again for my title. Also joining me on stage is former England captain himself, who you may have seen more recently going out on week three of Stricklecomb dancing. Ouch. It's Chris Robshaw . That's right, he's finally escaped his mum's basement. It's Robbie from Squidge Rugby . Oh, and Ben Young's also by himself along too. Since we're joined by a former England captain, that's Chris , England's most capped men's player, that's Ben, and someone who prays on England's downfall, that's also Ben that's Robbie, the theme of this year's draft is England's men's players of the 21st century . Robbie will begin because he lost last year's draft and I will get the fourth pick because I am the reigning champion. Just to reinforce that, I've won this before. I'll then get the fifth pick of the draft and, so on, because of the snake format. You'll get the hang of it as you go along. Eliskenged in, but you will. We only have 30 seconds to make a pick, except for when there's a lightning round, when you only have 10 seconds to draft a player. Finally, if you pick a prop, you will get dealt a wild card. Freeze, phone a friend, double pick, ask the audience. But more on that later. And finally, the winner will be voted for by our live audience of THBs. Right, take it away, Robbie. I think when thinking about this, kind of as an outsider, you kind of think one approach is to very much go for who are the England players, the fans of other nations go, I know they're English, but I kinda love them. And how hard I lean into that strategy will be shown by whether I pick Freddie Burns at 10 or not . But I'm gonna go for my first pick with maybe the ultimates. I know he's an England player, but for fans of every other nation, I pick Jason Robinson. Strong strong . Ben Ben second pick. So what position you picking them on? Fullback. I say for now. You can be flexible if you want. So you can move as the board unfolds you can move them round okay maybe not tight head but um yeah put someone at six and a half yeah I it gives me a great privilege. Martin Johnson in the engine room. Nice . John who's been on the podcast, hasn't he? He loved it. John who came and joined us. Yeah. He basically we we got we messaged John and I asked him to come along. It's when we sort of first it was very kind of him to give up his time to be fair because it was when we sort of first launched it. And he was like, Yeah, um I uh like of course we'll come and join you but I've I've I've only got an hour. He was he was sort of d he said he was doing the patio and he basically said like you know I've only got an hour, I've got a thingy. So he's basically giving him the wiggle room that if it was really shit, he could get out and be like, I've just you know I've got a delivery and I've got to sort out the patio . He stayed for like four hours.. He loved it Couldn't John O loved it. And um he ate all the cake. It was whose birthday was it? George Martins, wasn't it? It was yeah, George Martins was the guest afterwards. That's right. And like we had to get George in, and George had to wait an extra hour while John Ow was finished the story about the 1932 line store. And uh I wasn't telling him to hurry up. Do what you want. I say you can talk as she wants. Yeah and then he ate all the cake and basically he was like I've got to go. But then he just didn't he's like do you want any cake? And it was like, am I allowed cake? Am I allowed my own cake? Uh and he ate it all. So yeah, Johnny, what a man. I had that first time you had me on, where I had the week before, spent all week, two weeks working a video on Hondre Pollard, and I'd properly gone in depth, I'd read every interview you could find with him, I'd gone over his whole career, I'd gone back and watched footage from playing schools, rugby, like right back on being like fourteen years old, and I was told when I was coming on, you know, like there's gonna be a guest in beforehand, then you're gonna be in in the afternoon, so arrive after that, and you'll come in. And so I arrived on time. I was like, brilliant, okay. Came in. When can I just go for a wee before you know I go in and meet everyone? And like, yeah, no worries. Uh, I had no idea who the guest was. I then go opened the door and stood in front of me was Hondre Pollard having a piss . And I had spent the last two weeks watching this guy from his schoolboy career. I at that point knew everything there was to know about him. And he just looked at me and went, Ya, sorry, sorry. And I went, no, I'm sorry. Closed the door, moved on, and realized I'd learned even more about him in that moment . Yeah, and then he left Leicester. Yeah, yeah, and then he went. Yeah. That was why I scared him off. I'm sorry about that. I'm coming back to the balls. Right, Chris, please, third pick. Third pick. I'm gonna go for the England legend. That is Johnny Wilkinson and fly half. I mean what what he did, everyone like raves about him, his skill, his phenomenal, the time he put into the game. Um to win the World Cup the way he did. I mean, struggling to kick a ball off my right foot, let alone off both feet. Um Yeah, you just win the crowd over and rub it in, they've got Joe Wilkinson, mate. Um so the snake draft, because it does confuse people. If you've ever watched our original one with Ellis Genj, I mean he even on his fifteenth pick, he still was like I don''t understand whats going on . Cole y now will pick and then pick again and it will come back this way. And that's how it works. Yeah. So with the first of my two picks, I am going to pick Manu Tulagi. Oh 12, 13. He played he played wing once. Manu can play where he wants mate in my team. He can do what he wants. Uh I'll probably put him at 13, but I I will see how my team evolves. Because my next pick, I'm gonna pick Owen Farrell. So I'm gonna put him in my team, please. We'll put them at ten to begin with. I'm assuming your team isn't going on any ferry trips. Uh - We were there. We were there, yeah. I don't incriminate myself. Um Yeah. No, well we had a good time. We were in what was the the vintage? It was in New Zealand. We went to Waihiki Island as well. Got the ferry across. Just when you thought the World Cup couldn't get any worse after being uh man who got fined for a gum shield in the uh a a royal um did some stuff in a nightclub. So it wasn't going very well. We thought end of a tough campaign, we've just been lost to the French. We just enjoy ourselves, get ourselves away. We're hiki islands, you have to get ferry away out to it, just no one will be there, be fine. Anyway, we've got this boat, it's lovely day. Manu's like, I'm gonna jump off and swim. It's like no no don't do that Manu, because we're not there yet. We can't get the vineyard if you're soaking wet, it's fine. Just don't do it. And and it would be really silly to do that. It would be it would be incredibly against my advice, against Ben's uh it would be silly to that. Anyway, we went to the vineyard. We were looked after really well. Um too well, some might say. We got on the boat back, we got back into Auckland Harbour, manu all the way back Manu's like, I'm gonna jump off this boat. At this point, it seemed like a great idea. Yeah. Bear in mind The way there, absolutely not, the way back, mate. Why are you not jumped in already? What are you waiting for? But the boat was like a triple decker, wasn't it? It was like literally there was two layers of like deck and then on top there was an open deck and manner's there and took a shaft and he's like massive and ripped and we just thought that all these people on the boat looking at him, he just thought he was doing a thing and he's like I'm gonna do it. I'm like, right, well give us your wallet and phone then, mate, go on, put them there. Next thing, splash, everyone's gone, the fuckers jumped in, mate. And we but we thought we thought it'd be all right because being um you know Samoan Heritage should be able to swim. Well he can't. So honestly , on it was like the in-betweeners, when it for the in between in between us, he got in this thing and he's going hard as he can and he's going nowhere. This boat's starting to reverse back into thebor har.. Yeah Honestly, as the boat started to reverse back into the harbor, the alarm goes off, and it's like the boat had to stop straight away. It basically they finally got in, didn't he? And as soon as he got in, a security guard came out, tower around him, took him to the police station. At that point, we knew we'd fucked up. So we then we then got we then got back to well, you someone to police station. Me and Floody got back to the hotel, and Will Chignor um was the press manager at the time, and the guy was so stressed, bless him. I mean, he was trying to put out fires everywhere during the campaign. The first per person me and Flooddy bump into in the lobby is Will Trignall. And I said, I said, um, man who's been arrested. He's like, mate. No. I said, mate, I'm serious. He's been arrested. He's like, nice try, Lenny. I mean we're like twelve hours away from flying home. It's like he's nearly done it. And then his phone rings. He says it's Johnno. He answers and you know it's like those phones where you could still hear everyone that's saying. He's like, man who's been arrested, Will. He's like, fuck, what I've never seen him again. I've never seen Will Chickel since that day. So I hope he's okay. Hope he's okay. Um Faz Faz is a captain, Rob, obviously you captain England bucket like more than Martin Johnson, you captain more times than Martin Johnson. What's your view on Faz obviously as a captain 'cause you captained yourself obviously um as well. Yeah, look for me I always say Faz is the best player I've ever played with in terms of his dedication, his drive, his intensity, his vision, his commitment. Um and as a player that as well. I remember at Harlequins when he was a um he was 17. I think he made his debut at 17. Um we were playing Harlequins, I was a flanker, I was a couple of years old, I was probably 21. Your team talk, of course, is gotta go after this young fellow off who is this kid? Obviously he's Andy Fowles kid. And I gave him a bit of a late shot. I thought, you know what, I've I've got him here. Late shot. As I've run off. Take the bloody Wellington shoulder, old boy. So I've given him this late shot. Next minute I'm on the floor he's literally run behind me and just booted my ankles and run off and I thought you know what this kid's got something about him and I never did it again so he says and he actually he's got that temperament. And even when he first came into the England set up as a 18, 19 year old, I remember we went to Leeds. Went to Leeds, the pitch was boggy, we were a very new group post-this World Cup. And then he was it was really quiet and he dropped his first ball. Dropped his first ball in just like a three-on-three passing drill, just building confidence, getting to know each other. And then since that moment, it was almost like that was a release, that was the nerves, and it was gone. And then that kind of shook him into life and he just started speaking, started organizing and an incredible player and incredible talent as well. And I don't he's one of those players who doesn't get the credit he deserves. Yeah, he's phenomenal. I totally agree. The the thing that actually came up a lot, actually, and people maybe in the audience will be interested is um you know when you're captain you have to make a lot of decisions you have to decide what to do and there was a lot made out of marrow and Finn Smith. Maybe you could shed light what that conversation is like when when you're making a decision as captain and you've got your goal kickers or you know because they boss the game as well your temps is is because some people might look at that and think that's not normal you shouldn't but actually in the heat of the battle it's yeah no captaincy is one of those brilliant things it's brilliant when you're winning captaincy everything's amazing, you're the man, whatever it,'s easy. As soon as you're losing less pressure, and similar to Marrow , Marrow obviously, he's he's done the lines, he's had a good autumn. He also captains a club. So when you do and you when you're captain international, I did Queens in England at the same time. You captain England, you finish on a Sunday, Monday morning, you've been away from your club for two months, you've then got to get up and start presenting and be the energy and bring that enthusiasm, and it takes a lot out of you. You've got to keep on going time and time again. He then unfortunately lost lost his mother just before the tournament. And that's where I think the management almost let him down. Someone needed to say to him, you know what, go away for two weeks, have time away. Because look, as a player, as a captain, especially for England, you're never going to step away . You're never gonna step away. You always want that. And also you always think someone's gonna come in and take your place. So you always have a bit of that in your mind. And then so I think they should have done that with him, giving him the first half of the tournament off, come back in the later stages where he did start to play well again. But look, whenever there's a decision to make, a captain will be there, probably your kicker, your attacker leader, you'll talk about how the game is going, how the game's going, your kicker will say, Do I fancy it or not? Basically, where we are in the game, what's momentum. Um and then you go from there. If your kicker doesn't fancy it, you go in the corner, or if your kicker fancy you have a go. But as a captain, you have to be confident with that decision. And where and where it goes. And Mao's obviously made the final call. Finn Smith has then said something. But it's always well and good those other players saying something, because if that decision hadn't gone to plan, it comes back to the captain. No matter what FinnSmith says or what Genji said or anyone else putting that input in. So as long as he's happy with that, and yes, it's one of those ones where the heat of the matter, they've lost the game, it's been escalated, social media, all that kind of stuff. It doesn't look great. But look, these things happen, and you you put it to bed and you move on. Great insight, mate. Great insight. What Robbie would like to know is would you have kicked for the corner there or gone for post ress? Probably a little. That's Robbie's Robbie's a thinking on. You're thinking , aren't you? Yeah, look twenty fifteen was obviously m a bit like that as well like and even even early in my early days with Farrell me and Far, I think we're playing South Africa or Australia uh Australia one day and we had a bit of a debate we had a bit of a heated debate and I said one thing he said the other and at the end of the day we stuck with what I said. You're fucking right you did. No. I mean, we didn't win the game, so maybe it's wrong. We are here to draft some players, and uh there was a 30-second limit. So, Chris, sorry, mate. But no, uh we should quickly recap. Uh Who did I pick? Robbie picked Chase Robertson, Ben picked Martin Johnson, you've picked Johnny Wilkinson, I've picked Owen Farrell and Manu Tulagi. So Chris, it is your pick. I'm gonna go I'm gonna go with Ho Jay. Nice. Yeah, I'm just gonna leave it like that. I'm gonna leave it like that. But an incredible player for what he's done, achieved. And even in 2015 World Cup, he came in. He came into the setup uh just to train, didn't he? He came in just to train and the size of him the the he literally came in for a fitness block a three-week fitness block is what we had at the beginning of the campaign and he was smashed everything we'd never seen anything like it i remember actually we it was it was that 2016, and we were doing malls, and generally, when you're in the starting team, you you work hard, you push it, but it's not quite the same as match intensity. But the guys on the other side want your shirt, so they work hard, and the coaches are getting into those players and Marrow was coming in he was nausing and all this kind of stuff and I just remember Mako Vunapolo at the time just said you wait another ten years bud and see what you're doing and he just completely like killed him, but yeah, it was just that kind of intensity he brought. Right. I'm gonna go Lawrence Delalia . Nice. Smart. The big lol . Um, okay. I was gonna go for a toje, but I'm thrown slightly. I'm gonna go for Will Greenwood in the center . Um again, I think another player that is widely admired world over. But yeah, uh one of the greats, and then I've got a second pick. Oh do I? That is the lightning slash thunder round. Lightning round. Okay. Please, ten seconds. So ten seconds. Um Elliot Daly, who can slot in anywhere, I think just like f its in, you know, fills plugs a lot of gaps. That was my fallback. Um Storm's actually fucked our screen, so uh brilliant. Uh I'm gonna go Courtney Laws in the second row along with Johnna. Nice. Chris. Yeah, I know my notes. I've got my notebooks here. Uh I'm gonna go Anthony Watson on the win. Right, I am going to go Billy Von Napole at eight. And we're going backwards. I'm gonna go feel Vickery at tired . What does that mean? Yeah, I don't know. What does it mean? It means a forfeit, doesn't it? Um yes, okay. I will uh I'm gonna phone for my next pick when it comes back route, I'm gonna phone a friend, alright? Just give me a bit of time to sort it out and I'll um but it's a snake draft which means too it's my second pick, isn't it? Ah yeah. So right, I'm gonna phone a friend and my next pick, let me just give me some time. Okay . So probably need my phone. So Col or has a light on. Robert? I'll wait for my phone and then I'll I'll contact him. Chris, you're I'm picking away. Uh I will go for I'm gonna go Richard Hill. And I'm gonna put him at six. The great Rich if anyone That's Coley flat That is actually Coley You remember when we we're in like Denver so Stuart Lancaster took us to Denver for two weeks for like um Isaac just brought his phone out, but he's ran so he will be he'll be scrambling you think someone's nicked it 'll be going about to lock the car but outward we're out shoot training and and um colle and macko and marlo are basically running at that pace not, too dissimilar, every rep and Lanny had to run next to them, trying to encourage them to me. And Mako by the end was like, Stuart, just fuck off will you so good . Right, my next pick is I'm gonna go on the wing number eleven. I'm gonna go Johnny May. The second row, welcome back. You good ? Just keep the microphone away for breathing. We'll give you a minute. We'll give you a minute. Johnny May. Johnny May's a character and he comes up a lot. There was a we were uh when was this? This would have been uh was it 2016? No 2017. I think it's 2017 . We played Ireland, we'd won the Grand Slam in sixteen. I remember yeah sixteen so why I was looking at you like as if I'm rubbing it in I don't like um sixteen and seventeen we lost to Ireland for the Grand Slam but we we won the title and we had a player uh one on-on- oneone catch-up in the morning on the Sunday morning. And um you go see your your your coaches and you know your bats coach but we also see Eddie and Johnny Johnny Johnny's great value isn't he but he can get giddy and carried away and and likes playing the the class clown. And sort of Eddie has sort of said to him, like, mate, your potential is so high. Like you are one of the most athletic wingers I've ever come across. And bear in mind, he'd work with Lottie Takiri, Wendell Saylor, some of these guys, and he said,, mate you've got it all. He goes, but you you enjoy like playing the clown too much. Like I I generally will pick you, but I need you more consistently. I need to so Eddie Jones said you play the clown too much. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Literally, I know. He's like guess so he's told him basically anyway left. We then went to a team meeting. Johnny's sort of sitting there and Johnny used to like muck around like doing chicken impressions and all this sort of shit. Anyway, half the lads are still pissed. So like Johnny, there's a s there was a pool table in the corner. Like Johnny, lay an egg. Johnny, lay an egg. Right. And he sat there like this. We didn't just had this meeting with Eddie. Like, you know, don't piss about, like, you know, if I'll pick you, sort of thing. And he sat there, and they're like, lay an egg, Johnny. Everyone was like heckling Eddie's just stood there Johnny looks at Eddie and Eddie just goes go like that anyway Johnny comes up sticks it between his ass cheeks doesn't he clucks and then just lays this snooker ball and sits back down in like shame . But after that he never looked back. I think he's England's second highest ever try scorer, like he's phenomenal record so but I mean John he was he kept us entertained all the time. It just summons him. I mean , that's the thing. Look, realistically, when you're away of England, you're you're away for a long time and it's not like touring the Leonard days and they're out and about and they're doing all this kind of stuff. Like I remember we played we played France France I think it may have been his debut Johnny's debut and he broke his nose he broke his nose in like the first 10 minutes and I don't know if anyone's broken a nose as you can tell I have it's incredibly painful like you take your top off, it catches it. Like, I don't know, you brush past, your eyes start watering. It's one of those things where people think, oh, it's not that bad. The following week, we played Scotland away. Went up to Scotland. After 20 minutes, Johnny Mays came up to me. I'm speaking to the ref moaning about something as you do as captain. Johnny Mays came up to me and said, Can you tell the ref to tell the Scottish players to stop flicking my nose? I was like, what ? He said, yes. Every time I'm on the floor they're flicking my nose . Myself and Nigel Owens told him to fucking do one . Get back in your wing, Johnny. Robbie, the second row is disappointing fast, so I'm gonna take I think one of the great underrated England players in the last 20 odd years and take Simon Shaw in the second row. Like so good in that 2009 Lions tour, went on the 99 lines tour or 97 lines tour and then like made it all the way back to a I've got another pick. You've got another pick. So I didn't vamp, did I? No, it's fine. No, no. Cool. Okay. Um and I'm gonna go for another guy who I think like is quickly establishing himself as a bit of a legend and pick Tom Curry in the back row at seven. Great play. Very good. Right. I know who I'm gonna go for. I'm gonna go at number six. I'm gonna go for Lewis Moody. Oh yeah . So there's obviously Leicester Captain for us, sort of brilliant guy, um amazing and inspirational guy, obviously, with the situation. So and of course was our England captain when we debuted as well, Collie. So and played, he was just totally fearless in the way he played, like unbelievable guy. So yep that's he's in there at six for me nice I'm gonna go for Josh Lucy at fullback yeah one of those players where I've never really met him. I mean you you meet a lot of the players on the circuit and doing stuff like that, but Josh Lucy is one of those players who doesn't really do anything, does he? Uh but as a player, I mean everyone remembers that tackle against Australia and what he did, what he achieved, phenomenal player. So I'm going for him at fullback. Phone a friend, right? Phone a friend. Yeah . Let me, let me, uh who is your friend? Uh uh right here. Yeah, let me see. Let me see if it's gonna work. Just waiting for it to call. Hello mate, how you doing? I'm alright, thanks mate. Very well. Uh just let everyone know, I'm ringing Tommy Young's. Um there you are. , you see him, good morning. Um I knew you'd pick up Tom. Um so I've basically I have to pick a player for my uh team and I know you're a fellow front row expert e expert, uh especially in the hooking thing. Sorry, I'll move you closer so you can hear. Um, so basically, I want your opinion on who I should pick at nine. It's real, real, real tough on that and uh play with many great nines but there's one that sticks out for me massively and he's someone you love as well Cody's someone you really like gone well as well and I'm gonna pick Carl Dixon Right, brilliant, yeah. That's Ledexen. Ledexen. Thankfully, Tom, obviously having a big laugh here 'cause he never played for England, so anyone's actually played for England. Again, I don't know many nines who've played for England. Um so I would go with God has a good one. It's got dark haired and he and stuff like that, quite a chippy little lad and good bloke. Danny care, mate. Thank you very much, Tom. Right. Cheers, mate. That was well played, wasn't it? He's he know he's been around some you know he knows nine play. He's his dad was a nine, I think it was someone else he related to was a nine, but he knows a good nine when he sees one and I'm happy with that pick. So yeah. Well done. Yeah. You like that, do you? Yeah. No, I like the Carl Dixon one. That's what cracked me up. I know, yeah. I was like, no . Technical ity, Technicality . Robbie, you were checking the screens, you had the monitors, didn't you? Relentlessly. Yeah. Keeping track on everything. Um I uh I got my breath back, thank you. Ben you've been carbloading half time, yeah Turns out the other t-shirt option's even tired . And uh Chris, you've you've done your hair. Um I didn't want to make it all about me, but I was told I was a special guest, you know, so I thought I'd have to get a best suit out, look smart, and try to show you less the boys up. You've done that. I've done that. Anyway, there's a draft going on. There's a draft. There's a draft. Um it's my pick, isn't it? It is. Yeah, good. Um I am going to pick. Haven't looked at the thing. You know, I'm gonna pick, I'm gonna pick George Ford, I'm gonna move Farrell to 12 and Ford at 10. And uh yeah, deal with that . I'm gonna go for Matt Dawson at nine. Solid. I'm gonna go for Jonathan Joseph at 13. One of in in when on on his day was sense he had so many injuries, bless him. But my gosh, what a player. So JJ at thirteen. I'm gonna go for someone I'm astonished as lasted this long and take Jason Leonard . So you have a forfeit or a wild card. Yeah, actually we're playing him loose head or tired . Um let's let's put him in a tire head. Let's put him in a tire head. As we go on this journey together. Yes. We have now got a forfeit of some sort. Would you like to double pick, freeze player, phone a friend, or ask the audience for your next pick? I'm gonna ask the audience. Nice I'm gonna see what what people have to say and think about r ugby. We did actually ask everyone to pick a their favourite English player at the start of the show, it was on a QR code. So um yeah, we're now gonna spin the randomizer and you're gonna get the answer. It's just come through on the headpiece. Stanny Cyprian . Oh o. That's what it is. I can go with Danny Cipriani. I can play with that. Who who in the audience picked Danny Cipriani? Nice. Not many people scan the QR code on this . There's three hundred and fourteen scans and uh six of them picked Danny Cipriani. So good luck winning it tonight. I think a lot I think a lot I think a lot had had been been picked already. Ben, your that was your second pick, Robbie. Yes. Ben, you're in. Um I am gonna pick Jamie George at Hooker. Nice. Yeah I'm gonna pick Tom Reese at seven. Oh a player who definitely should have played so much more than he did. Now a doctor, I believe. go on, you you obviously flank and all that, he didn't a huge amount. Do you think that had injuries not gone his way he could have gone on and I think he would have been won the greats and I wouldn't never would have played. So I'm quite happy and honestly. But look it was uh yeah, phenomenal play just he was like Richie McCaughey, same kind of build, physique. He was so powerful as well. And I think he's uh he's very much like the flankers now, like the curries and underhill, that kind of build. Whereas back then flankers weren't really as powerful as that, they were more lumps, really. Um but yeah, he was definitely ahead of his time . My pick. Uh let me look at the team. I am gonna pick Steve Thompson at Hooker. Thank you. Thank you . Um Tomo . Actually, you actually I saw Tomo. Yeah, you did. Uh I don't know if anyone saw the documentary, I s I saw Tomo and um obviously in that circumstances that was very difficult to see. But then when I look at our time playing together, there's plenty of amusing situations. Uh one of which was a game we're getting ready for a test match. Tomo went in like 10 minutes early. Thought, fuck, Tomo may not be fit. We go in. A physio is de-winding him. He basically he'd eaten too much pre-match meal. He'd gone in and he's basically being like he's ported round he's been like being moved around, maniped, like massaging his stomach and he's basically being degassed pre-game. So what on earth? That is that with a World Cup winner, does it? Um But you but you also shared uh a room with him and um I I was next to him. Oh next to him. Uh we're in New Zealand, Dunedin in twenty eleven, and um Tom had a bit of a skin issue, so we wanted to go and get some like moisturizing stuff. And we went to local chemists and they recommended I think it was like pine tar or something like that, but but you do it in the bath. So you put it in the bath and then obviously bathe and it sticks on your skin, all this kind of stuff so I've we've bought this stuff. Uh I wasn't with him at the time. I basically went in the room next door. He's like another bath now. All right, I'll see later up, uh Tomo. Literally, I heard the biggest scream in the world ten minutes later, like came through, I was like, fuck, what's going on? So basically ran around Tomo's door. He's ran a bath, he's put the part iron in, and it's just stayed on top, but he's not paying attention. As he's got into the bath, his balls have dropped into the bath. I'm been scolded. As he's jumped out of the bath, the part iron stayed on them and it's um so yeah. Um he was also a great hooker, but uh that's my favorite memory of him. Um do I have another pick? I do have another pick. Right, I am going to pick at uh oh I'm gonna pick Ben Cohen on the wing. Yeah, I'm going there. Solid, solid. I'm gonna go for Nick Easter at number eight. Um a guy I played a lot with a club in country called himself the general, he played to his about 38, 39, phenomenal player. Nothing wrong with that. And then I I remember we had a uh a court session. We played Munster away, we beat Munster away, amazing game. Um had a great court session with this flanker called Mo Fasafalu. Mo Fassifalu was our enforcer. He was a Samoan flanker. He grew up in a Samoan prison. His dad used to say to him, if you've been naughty, go to cell 15, and I think you'll get a bit of a hiding down there. And I remember him Mo would never come out, the nicest guy ever. And uh Nick Nick Easter, it was our general, he was in charge of a court session, hod l, and Moe Fasavlu, he came down and he had this purple shirt on with his probably like this to be honest, but this purple shirt with these bright black stars on. He looked like something like David Bowie or something. It was horrendous. And all the boys were sniggering behind his back. And everyone is egging on, uh, the general Nick Eastman being like, come on, you've got to call him out, make him drink for this. And he was like, Okay, Mo, you need to stand up and drink for your shirt. Mo just stood up and just said, What's wrong with my shirt? My wife bought it for me . And everyone just went like this. And he just looked dead at Nick Easter. And Nick Easter just went, I'll drink fumo . Um I I am gonna pick I so I think this this player has the potential to be one of England's great wingers. Um and I'm gonna go with Tommy Freeman as fourteen. I'm also gonna take my 14 and take one of my favorite England players of all time, someone I loved watching, and take Chris Ashton on the wing. That like divides some people, but like when I was, you know, I was not very good at rugby, as people at a glance can normally tell. Um but if there was like one player sort of moulded myself around, it was the only thing I could do was run sport lines and he was yeah, one of my favourite players to watch in all the world so Chris Ashton on one wing and I think in the back row right so when I was at university there was someone I knew I only knew a handful of people that watched rugby. One of them was a guy who played Bath Academy. The other guy that I knew that watched rugby got into it purely because he saw a photo of one man and thought, that is the hottest man I've ever seen in my life. That is the sexiest guy I've ever seen. Started watching and is still a Queens fan today so I'm gonna take Chris Robshaw. Thank you for telling that story I gave you I haven't spoken to him about five years, but I reckon I will tomorrow . Ben, you are picking. I'm gonna go at fullback for downtown Brown, Mike Brown, as uh the fullback I'm gonna say Maku Vunupolo a loose head solid three lions tours You have a forfeit now, Bet uh Chris. I I do. You do, yes. You can either double pick, you can freeze the player out, you can phone a friend, or you can ask the audience for a selection. I'll ask the audience. Is that okay ? I hope so, yeah. Uh it worked really well last time. Do I go down quickly? Uh where you going, Chris Chris? Do you want me to produce it? We've asked all the audio audience. There's a 314 votes on the favourite England player of all time. And we have a randomizer working backstage apparently. Well I think I think I think I think a lot of who they voted for has been taken, so now they're now sort of gradually deleting these names and the name is gonna come up soon, hopefully on the stage, but we're just gonna have to keep filling for a while. Oh, oh, I've got a name for him. He's a hooker. Yep. Some call him the better brother . It's Tom Young's. Here you go. I'm happy with it. I'm happy. Perfect. Um , what a man. He knows his rugby, that guy. Really good selection. Right, it's my pick . Uh the board is thinning out, isn't it? Right, I am going to go at seven kneel back . And at six, I'm gonna go Tom Croft. Oh I'm gonna say eleven David Strettle . Uh Strett nearly scored one of the greatest individual trials I think it was against Wales, he got slap tackled, and I think he literally Oh, it would have been unbelievable. It would have been unbelievable. Uh Crofty's another one, had he not had so many injuries, bless him, he wo he would have gone on and you know, gone 70, 80 caps. Amazing. Anyone come to our Leicester show? I think Crofty's still in there, chatting away . It was like his best night ever. Absolute love and love . He's actually he's been promoted at work, by the way. He had a bit of a rough start. I uh those are there, he would he talked about how he he was in front of HR straight away after the first week. And I said to him, I said, How's work go, mate? When it's very different to a rugby environment. Turns out you can't really have banter with most people. They take it the wrong way. But he's now he's now like headed up in the middle and but he's doing a great job. So fair play. For that promotion, did he go in and did like the manager go, uh Tom, why do you think you should get this promotion? And three hours later, when he's still telling his best story, just take it, just take the promotion, drop D. Just get out of my office. So yeah. Um Ben, is it your pick ? It is your pick Ben. It is. And it's very difficult because obviously got the played with with George and Owen and Johnny, they're all gone, played a little bit of sips. Um I'm thinking like Charlie Hodgson, someone like that, but Floody. But then I think I can't. There's only one man. It is. It is the one and only . The man that won us the title single-handedly . The great Freddie Burns is my turn, yeah. And and picks like tonight don't happen to boys like him, so he'll be he'll be absolutely delighted. Is is he gonna sing? He's not I mean he's not gonna sing, is he? Because like he's worse at singing than you. Yeah. Do you want to shall I I'll I don't I genuinely I don't know what because he's Romania. I don't know what he's probably an hour ahead. I don't know. He's probably out clubbing. I don't know. I'll just I'll I'll try and ring him. I've got no idea if he'll pick up. Genuinely. And I'll Robbie take a pic. Take at least one of your picks, Robbie. I'll let you know. Oh, okay. Um Tell him the good news, Ben. Bernsey, we've got the live draft tonight, mate. And the great news is mate, you made the team. You're in my te am. Hang on, how do I get points? What do you mean only get points? I know I just you get picked. And I you're in the team, mate. That's all you need to know. Alright, so we'll be beat by Mari today, so you should get some points cut. What is it? I don't know what's going on. It's not like real fantasy rugby. We've got the giraffe night. We're at a live show. We've got the giraffe night and you're in. Look in ! Yeah, after a brilliant win against uh a Fire Mare team that just wanted to kick my head in all games so they're fine I hope you're still dominating Romanian rugby, mate. Well they try and as much as you can. Um the good thing is we didn't we we actually played in a proper stadium today, not in bloody Chernobyl, which is nice. I suppose the the one question all the audience wants to know is do draft picks like this happen to guys like you? I actually don't know what I'm being picked for, so I'm clearly right mate. We'll uh we'll see you at Cheltern for the live show. Look after yourself everyone what a man how fast did I even ring or was he literally just air He's just he's thinking how much he just dominated Roman Who did he say he played against? I got no idea what he said. I've got some points, I've got you some points. They do fancy rugby in Romania. He always thinks that yes. how H manow manyy po poinintsts do I get ya? How many points of thread? I do not do fantasy rugby in Romania, man . Oh, bless him. Anyway, sorry, Robin. No, no, no, no. Again, everyone's wondering why you didn't I mean Romania, but you know why I'm not my this seat isn't being filled by Mr. Um Freddy Burns. Anyway, um so I am going to move Jason Leonard over to loosehead and take at tight head Mr. Dan Cole. Couldn push in scrums and avoid the ball at all costs. So he was really good. Um please you've now got a uh a forfeit of some sort. I reckon you should freeze himself. Um I'll I'll Why don't you freeze yourself, Ben? Like dunno. Just freeze somebody else. I'll go for the double pick. Um and because I would have had it anyway, so you know. Um fair enough. And I'm gonna take alongside Dan Cole , perhaps at Scrum Half, someone very well associated, um, who's lined up many times alongside him. I just know he's teared me up here to not say me. Just know it. And take Alex Mitchell . But it's a double picks it was. Which means you got another one. Oh with three picks, okay um Um and I'm gonna say Ben Kay in the other lock slot. Again, someone I'm amazed has lasted this long. That's an exceptional round you've had there. Well done. That's uh Probably the best picks you've had. I'm gonna go at loose head. Ellis Genj. Oh dad. You've actually uh need to make a public apology about Ellis G Oh I do I uh yeah on the pod we're reviewing the weekend's game we were talking about Ben Tamyafuna's um carry and his run. It's try. It's try. And we'd compare it to Reese Carey's and I got a voice note from Genji saying did you watch the Queens game boy like that because I forgot that he scored that one from about 50 metres out which often happens from Genji. Um I'm gonna freeze Robbo out. shots fired. So Robbo you will terrible. Miss your next go and it will come to me now. Um Perfect. 14-15. I'm struggling here. Anyone any wingers? Anyone know wingers? Wingers. Wingers, wingers, wingers. Yeah, Col in, what's what's your tactics so far, mate? You've just literally filled up the middle. Spark. Yeah. Yeah. The important positions. Uh right, Fayo Boso, track null. Which way are we going? Which one's gonna win me the dra ft ? Jack Noel's my pick then at 14. Jack Noel, thank you very much. Um ge ez. I am gonna pick. I'm gonna pick a guy who I think is incredibly underrated and could have had more caps, and it is Alex Good. Great footballer, incredible footballer. He had one six nations. Unfortunately, he was with Mike Brown when he I'm gonna pad this out so hopefully he vote for me. Um but he was incredible, one six nation when he didn't unfortunately had the battle with Mike Brown and I think Eddie was preferred Brownie, but he was obviously an incredible fullback himself. But yeah, Goody was saying incredible servant for Saris and I thought England there was one six nations where he was unplayable and could have got more caps, but never did True. You were both looking at me. You're unfrozen, Chris. I'm back. I'm gonna say nice and quick, Mike at twelve, phenomenal player for England, what he did. We work with him as a coach as well, very knowledgeable guy, um, good, good fan as well . I keep him with the centre theme. I'm gonna go with Henry Slade at twelve. Um yeah . Very slick player. I think he's been t he's terrific. Former roommate of mine as well. So yeah, Slady goes in the midfield for me. Um I'm gonna fill out my hooker spot and take Dylan Hartley . That's great. Even though it's in Birmingham. We didn't so because he stole the cap and see off Robo, didn't he? No. Bastard . What was that conversation? What how did that play out? Like did what did Eddie get you together? Did you just like or just wait for it to be announced? You're like, oh shit, that's it's been announced. No, post yeah, post World Cup came back in. Uh we had a meeting with Eddie we had a meeting before but the kind of Sunday, two weeks before the first game, he said, Look, there's a place in for a place for you in my team as a player, but not as captain. Are you okay with that? Are you happy to sport? And I said, Look, brilliant. Uh can't wait to get involved, I'll support Dylan as much as I can. Um and that was it. You know, like the way the fell out, it was it was harsh and really like tough. And for me, I just wanted to play again. And I felt like I got that opportunity and I was so grateful for it. So I was willing to and very yeah. And also I I ha'd been there and known what a captain goes through. So I feel I could support him well. Um and actually it's interesting. When I was captain, Poe coming back into the camp was the first time I went into the team room and played FIFA and actually hung around and muck around in the team room. Whereas ex captain, you have to know all these kind of things. And I remember with Coley actually, it was I never told you this Coley. But I r I remember we used to room together, it was amazing. And myself and Stuart would always sit down on a Sunday night, speak about the team and who was going to be in it. And I knew that Kohler was going to get dropped. And then I would have to go back to that room and share that. Well no, I couldn't share that. But you have that kind of information. And I think as a captain, you have a lot of that kind of stuff. Whereas when you play, you want to work hard, you do your bit, you lead certain areas, but you can relax a lot more. Um I'm just thinking. I need a new roommate. I need a new roommate, Stu. Get it going. Get him going. Uh I will say though, Eddie um he had a really like his way of interacting with people who was different for different people, but like it to get the best out of people, motivation obviously knew you, got to know you in that first meeting, um, set it stall out. Um Ben, your first meeting with Eddie? He similar theme, yeah? I was trying to look at my last but yeah. It was r so random to be fair. Um you know I'm a lean athletic guy, so I don't know what he was on about. Uh basically we got a WhatsApp WhatsApp group that's at, you know, we're even at elite level, everyone's on a WhatsApp group. And it said, Oh, when you when you get here, go and see Eddie, he's in uh certain room, just knock at the door and and go see him for a one-on-one. So I've sort of arrived, got my kit and everything like that, got to the room unpacked and and I thought, right pop in and see if he's available. Luke Kowadicki just came out the room by the way and he was like mate proper random in there. I was like okay like that not come in mate and that was an Australian accent by the way. And um anyway, I sit down and and it to be fair, let's start with he he he was very complimentary, really nice, and I thought this is going well. And he's like this like this part about your game and like this, and I think we can work on that and blah blah blah. And he's like, um, what about you? What you do tell me about your game, what do you think? And I said, Well, you know, I think that, you know, I uh I quite like my running game. Yeah, I like that you like a running game. You know, I think, you know, core of core of any nine is you gotta be able to pass and kick and do all those. Yeah, yeah, mate. Like like you know, that that back and forth. And I think, well, this is this is great because you're missing something mate and I said uh can you help me? I I'm I'm sort of struggling to you know basically I've rattled off everything. Um I'm struggling there and he said mate he said I want to play at such a pace but I don't think you can do it, you're too fat. You gotta lose some weight. Thank God you didn't see me now. Can you imagine? And he said, mate, I said I need he said, I need you like 90, 89, 90 kilos. I said, I want you like lean, I want you and Danny to play as quick for 80 minutes as a pair as possible. And at the moment I don't think you can do it. I was like, okay. And he guessed, so mate, get to it, sort sort, sort sort it out, play lightning fast and you'll be part of the part of the team. And then he was like, would you like some sweets before you go? Like that. So which I said, no. And he went, mate, that's a great start. I'll see you this afternoon. So I was just like, so I left, and the next one went in, I was like, proper random in there, mate. Just convey about randomness. But uh in all seriousness, Eddie comes up a lot. He he he is honestly the best coach I've had. He is he was brilliant. And I know he gets played, there's a narrative in the media and that, but he was honestly the best coach I ever had. He was he was brilliant to me and I I thoroughly enjoyed uh playing under him. Right, we'll just quickly review the teams before uh stand up for this. Um Squidge, you've got two picks left. Your team is Leonard Hartley, Cole Shaw, Kay, Rob Shaw Curry, missing an eight. It's a great pack. Um Mitchell Cipriani, Greenwood Daily, Ashton Robinson. Not a bad backline. Ben, you've gone for against Jeremy George, you've got hole at tight head. You've got Martin Johnson, Courtney Laws in the row, Lucy Meridian got a hole at seven, Dalio at eight. A certain nine spot is left open for you. Um Freddie Burns, Johnny Mae, Slady, Jonathan Joseph, Freeman, and Mike Brown, fullback. Not many O threes in your back line there, mate. You uh come quite modern age. Would have shredded them up, mate. Yeah, uh the old drift defense in 03 would not work in 25. Uh Chris, you've gone for Makova and Napoleon, Tom Young's, you're missing a tight end, you've Maratogi in the second row, need another lock. You've got Richard Hill, Tom Reese, Nick Easter in the back row, Matt Dawston Jobic, kson your halfback. You've got Cat in the centre, Strettle, Watson, Lucy, your back three. My team is Mr. Luchead. I've got Steve Thompson, Phil Vickery in my front row, no second rows. Then my back row is Crofty, Neil back, Billy Vonapola, half back Stanny Kerr, George Ford, back three of Cohen, Noel and Good, and midfielder Farrell and Tulagi. Right. I don't know who's picking now, who's picking mine right square in the So I think I'll probably end up moving Curry over to number eight and take at number seven someone who once wore the great jersey behind me and take Sam Underhill. Very good, yeah . Someone who you sort of forget about every so often, then you see him play, he comes back in the England team and it's suddenly he makes them better. Like just makes every team he comes back into whenever he's out for a period, you know, of injury or selection or whatever, they come back, he comes back in, they improve so huge fan of Sam underhill have been since the jump since he first came through at the Ospreys and yeah cannot ask for more he is the man underhill he is unbelievable or the orc yes, he is the orc. Um You have a second pick, Squidge, but it's gonna be your final pick. Right, Ben, you're in . Okay . I know who I'm gonna go with. At seven . And um obviously due to the rule, he he's can't play at the moment. But I have Jack Willis as my seven. Yeah . I'm gonna go for Matthew Tate at 13. Nice phenomenal player. What he achieved. The 07 uh 2007 World Cup. Oh that break. The break. The 2005 Six Nations, Gavin Henson. Yeah, well, let's talk about talk about that one. Do you think actually had he scored that try in 07, that would go down as the best individual try in a World Cup ever scored? In a final, so yeah. In a final, yeah. That's what I mean yeah, sorry, in the final, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like unbelievable. Unbelievable. Oh small face done very well, Tate, isn't he? He is, yeah. Yeah. So I'm more interested in my team, mate. So uh sorry, you you carry on, Collie . Right. I'm going to pick I'm gonna do my three picks. I'm gonna pick Joe Marler at Lucid . Thank you . And now I'm gonna pick my double pick to complete this. I'm gonna ruin the game for everyone. Yeah. Smart . Well done. Yeah. I'm gonna ruin the game for everyone. I'm gonna I'm gonna go in the second row. I am gonna go with With it's well who can I go with? You got Chesham, you got uh Danny Grewcock, you got Launchbury. Cruz Cruz is underway to Yeah. I am gonna go with yeah. Cruz and Mahler can have a Schnoz off again, couldn't they could? True. Um oh it's tough this. There's a lot of good good uh second rounds on there. Um I'm gonna pick someone that was on our short list of hardest men, Danny Grewcock, stick him in there. And then my other pick, I'm torn between Chesham Joe La unchbury or George Cruz? Which one is more likely to be win the draft ? Uh give me a cheer for Chesham. Give me a cheer for Launcher Brie. Give me a cheer for Cruise. Um I think he's got every chance, yeah. Uh I think um yeah, are you calling for Marriage loser captain, eh? Is that what I'm thinking But when that time does happen, no, I think uh like if you look at he's always been mature, I think uh Ches for his um that group plays he came in with I think he's learnt well at under cap captains like St. Marrow, England and he's been a lions tour and uh I know he spent a lot of time with Hoolim on Tour at Leicester, he's a fantastic captain. So yeah, he's a natural profession is he's captain Leicester and he's doing a fantastic job at the minute. And I do think um I think something across the board, like especially in you look at say Ben will probably agree with me, like leadership's such a re yourself, but like in the younger generation I think leadership's a real tough asset to find. Everyone sort of empowers them to go, oh you're leader, you're leader, you're a leader. And actual lot of that leadership isn't true, but I think Ches is someone that can actually he does what he says, he backs up with his actions, his words with actions, and he leads by example. Actually, he's prepared to have tough conversations. So I think he is a fantastic leader. I think he will continue to grow. He will have his lumps and bumps along the way, as all captains will. You know, you find everyone we've had's had their you know, you fall out with coaches, you come back in form, all that kind of stuff and it's a tough burden but do you know being captain percent of the time with Tom Youngs and and Montoya and as a captain you want to play well first yourself but you've got the burden of the team, the team plays badly, you know it's how do I stand in front of the team if I'm playing badly and he's got all those things to go through. But yeah, I think long story short, yes, I think he should be favourite to be the next England captain. You you look at it and I think um You sort of, you know, your Genji springs to mind, but Chair's definitely like I I got so much time for him. I think he's a terrific player. I think if anything, um the captaincy at Leicester has has almost unlocked him more and some players shrink under captaincy and some players uh thrive. You know, I remember Cockers basically telling me that I'm not gonna be captain any longer because I was shit . Don't worry, I uh but shit, on the other hand is thriving. And that's made that's brilliant, right? Because you don't want it to be a burden, you want it too much. You want the best version of them on the pitch. And actually Chez being captain has almost unlocked him to another level. I think the the biggest thing for Ches right now is um is just I know that sounds obvious, but like runner games and I just think he is so important to Leicester and England and his versatility play lock, he can play six. I think there's a real battle going on. I think Alex Coles, I really rate Alex Coles as well. You've got Marrow. We're lucky. George Martin's coming back soon. But I think Big Red is definitely one that future captain for sure. Nice, nice . I'm gonna go for, as he sounded, like a crowd favourite, George Cruz. Nice. Solid player. Great guy as well. So I once did a couple of years ago, a big deep dive on line outs with George Cruz where I sat down for like two hours with him. We had to be down to about 45 minutes if you want to watch on YouTube But it was great, so informative, he's a great guy. But I did, in the lead up while organizing it, get an email from him where he spelled both his names wrong. He spelled his name Joreg Cru es . So make wait well at that . I love that. Wasn't there a nose off between Cruiser who was it? Cruiser Tiprick. Tiprick was my lion's store in twenty seven to New Zealand. Um it was basically Cruz, Joe Mahler and um Tiprik, who's got the biggest nose. And uh Cruz lost. He's apparlyent the most voluminous was what his uh decision was. Marla was so happy, like honestly. Right. I'm gonna go with Carl Sinckler as my tight head. Um have you picked your entire team yet? I'm gonna freeze you, Squidge. Well Perfect. So we we're gonna go is it me again now? That's me back now. Yeah. Yeah, because he's coming back. Yeah. This is awkward, isn't it? What what what is the forfeit ? What is the forfeit was it you that's covered for? We'll we'll we'll we'll see. We'll find out. We'll find out if and when . Len, do you think you're the best next option? Yeah, I'm going in and on. I'm going in. I'm going in and on. I'll I'll take the forfeit. I don't want the forfeit is. I'll take it . I I I need to need to be back with Bernsey, so yeah, I'm gonna go and I'm gonna go. Okay. Is this have I really stitched myself up now? We'll find out. I believe Dan has details. Oh, for God's sakes. We'll finish the draft and then you'll perform your forfeit. Perform, interest. Whilst the voting is occurring, we will perform the forfe it then. Okay . I I bring like take myself off the list. Chris pick pick. I'm gonna go for tight head, I believe. Uh someone I think you should have probably had a couple more caps, a guy called Will Collier. Doing well, Dan Cass, played a lot with Quinn's. Uh great scrammer . Nice. Who's on that? Um my feet are up, mate. Oh my god, okay. It's you it's you are the Okay. That is it. We just have you final pick of the draft, ultimate heart pick for me, James Simpson Daniel. There's like that's the the one Gloucester fan or one person that remembers him like absolutely turning Jonah Lomu inside out. There's someone that loves James Simpson down in the middle of this. I know it's but someone really enjoyed that vote. One of the ultimate Streets Won't Forget players, like again, if you haven't seen it, the clip of him absolutely doing Jonah Lomu on YouTube. Excellent. I'd recommend it with anything I've ever done on YouTube . It is it is the old uh dummy switch, isn't it? When he comes up, yeah, yeah. So it's worth it. Right. So the draft is complete. Those are the teams. We left out the great Jerry Gusker. He's not even in there. I think he last cap in 99, I did check. Correct. Yeah, just test just testing. Just testing. Just testing you, mate. Mike Tyndall's been left out. Yeah. Yeah, Tyndall. James Hask. Uh missed quite a few, but yeah. There was a transfer uh what say who's nines? Dawson, Bracken. Gomasol. Bracken, Gomasol. Someone picked themselves ahead of them. Um Right, those are the teams. You will get to vote in a minute, but I think we should do the forfeit now . I'm just gonna think about it. Um Chris . Would you like to join? Not a chance. Um you recently performed on an incredibly successful I performed very well as well, yes. Thank you. And and you would have learnt . You know, I was the furthest, any forward has ever gone on strictly. Do you know that? How many forwards have been on Strictly? Just me, baby.. Perfect So I think you should help Ben perform a dance, teach him a dance that's got a last 10 seconds or so and actually has to have some moves that you can't just be him flopping around, right? I'm just not sure the vote was worth it. Right, one Robert. Look, like I said, look, I think they're trying to get people for auditions, so we'll get this on a little tape. You can send it out to Strictly in the morning. So we're gonna do look, I was a terrible dance. People say, Oh, you must know the dance now. I'm like, I don't, but I know my routines. So we're gonna do a little salsa. So we're gonna go one to the right and back. Oh one to the left. One to the right and back. One to the left. And back. Then we've got to go put your fingers out in front of you, mate. Three L left. Okay, we just do the sounds. Okay, so here we go . I've just no, I've got it. I've got fourth place just coming there. Right. Chris Ropshaw in fourth place. Boo. Boo! It's a fix. If Collie wins it's a fix . In third place is Squid Rugby . It's the hope that kills you, isn't it? That's what kill it's I'll let Burnsie know if we've won. So basically it comes to head to head. You versus me, Ben . I'd like to say we have a new champion. Ben, you've done it. Thank you to everyone that voted. Really appreciate it . Burnsy will be delighted. I am delighted. Thank you, Robby. Thank you, Bravo. Robo, thank you, Robert. Coley. Unlucky, mate. I'm gonna get this engraved tomorrow. Thank you. Thank you very much. Incredibly tight. I had thirty nine point two percent of the vote and you had forty one point three. Yeah, well still one, they don't don't matter. Yeah, apparently some votes from Romania that still need to be uh something did anyone not vote? Did anyone not vote for me? Um gutted well as a champion it is my opportunity to say thank you all for coming tonight. Thanks for being part of the draft night.
