I didn't was it when I went on vacation. and so I u I knew I was going to have our guests on today, Chris Burns and Dylan Hafer. They are co hosting Bches. Island time weekly recap episode of All Island on the mention at all podcast. Dylan was on last week doing our Bravo winners and losers. back to talkal Lve Island. But when I knew they were coming on today, I knew that I had to be caught up by the time they came on. So I think I watched like to ten episodes of Love Island in the past like three days. It's been a journey. but I'm honestly, it feels really good to be caught up and able to talk about What's going on because I've had a lot of thoughts. And we recorded this obviously before Movie Night Part two, which aired on Thursday night. We recorded this on Thursday. So we did get Movie Night Part one. Love Island is kind of impossible to get things out, you know quick enough, basically. You can't get, You can't get episodes out quick enough about Love Island. So we talk about moovie Night partart one, not part two and just kind of our thoughts from Costa more the season overall what we want to see going forward in the final two weeks of this season. You know, I wasn't enjoying Love Island at first but now I am And you'll hear what we like about it or what we don't like about it. How are you Good I mean, listen We're in prime Pime Love Island time. It's prime. It is like a hundred degrees outside, which makes it hard to be excited about anything, but In spite of all, movie night is delivering and what better time for movie? time than one hundred degrees. tootally Honestly I wish you were play that in theaters that I would go watch it just for the AC Yeah Do you remember when they did the they did a Casa Amor episode in theaters a couple weeks ago, but it was like kind of It was kind of a lame episode that ended up being the one and I'm like, they should have put moving that theaters. Yeah It's hard It's hard it's hard for them to plan which which episode is going gonna pop up, but Mvie Night feels like it's pretty much guaranteed to be good health. Yeah. They probably thought cata more would be like a little bit more And I liked cost. Iore got this season popp in, but like it was like spread out over the course of the several episodes. Yeah. It was necessary for movie night for sure. Yeah With Movie night, it's interesting though becausecause they didn't do it last season. L they just didn't have a moovie night. They didn't have it And so like I think people kind of like revolted last year. They were like, we were promised movvingight and it didn't happen. So It does feel like this year it's like especially sppicy Do you think that the people on it, like it seemed like some of them were surprised by Movie Night? Do you think that They were like they didn't have it last year. We're probably good Well, I saw someone saying that Corbyn acted like He't that all of this was being filmed . He's like Oh man, they got everything. It's like, yeah. That's kind of the point. Maybe they were surprised also because they like had a quasi movie night moment at the very beginning ofcasa more when they had the live stream of the boys. So maybe they thought that was sort of like a stand in. So they kind of got a two for one hereere or two versions of The girls did. The girls. Yeah the girls did. the girls very much did. The guys got like a zero accross the board. I was saying to Dyl and Chris, I was I was very far behind. so I have main I've been mainlining this season for the past three days. Oh God bless. Like I think the most recent like eight episodes or something. And like I was not really feeling this season the first like twelve episodes, I just like wasn't It wasn't doing it for me. I thought it was very flat. How are you guys feeling about sort of the pre Casa more this season Were you enjoying it? What was working for you? What wasn't So this is like my one of my first forays into actual loveove Islands. I've watched like a UK season years ago. So I wasn't Like I thought it was It wasn't terrible, but I don't have old seasons to compare it to, I think And yeah, I mean, some of it moves pretty Go I think yeah, you really have to get used to the rhythm of there are going to be some episodes in the week where there's not a big twist or a recoupling or a bombshell or a challenge even and the challenges are their own drain on my will to live. but I think like you kind of have to accept that not every episode is going to give the same like pay off But I do think like the sort of mid season round of bombshells that they sent in with Caleb, Jen and Soul turned out to be flops in one way or another. And so I think that was sort of that happening like, you know, five days before Casa or whatever. It was like, okay, these three aren't really like making the making the moves that we need them to. And so Casa like really needed to kind of like take things to the next level. Yeah. I mean, it does seem like We've been watching the show for four years. Like remember Ba Now. I don't. No. No, and I agree. I I feel that the people who the bombshells who came in during Casa or like They felt even more sort of like fey and like and kind of pushing the boundaries a little bit. And I will say that like for me the first to A three weeks of the show, what I was seeing was like You can almost see some of these people calculating, okay, like, What's the audience going to think of me? Should I stay in this couple because it's going to be good for the long term and like people are gonna to ship us till the end? Like that's sort of how I felt about Anah honestly. Yeah ye. like that was so their vibe to me. And so like that to me you can almost see the calculations happening and them holding themselves back because of that. You know what I mean Well, I felt like Casey. yeah, I felt like Casey and Iya were very much trying to like appeal to. America, evenven with like their letters to each other, everything seemed very like You are the blueprint. Yeah It was ping. It was very comprived. Yeah. It just seems notot real. And then I'm like, but do you not think we're going to all see what you do After the letter I think there are couples where like, they' like Trinity and Bryce, I think are a good example this season of a couple where ginning I was not sure whether they really would have much of a connection. They were kind of They were kind of saying the right things, you know, they were, you know, staying in their couple, but it was kind of like, okay, I don't know how much they have in common. The Trinities's talked about the age difference. They've both expressed like, you know, dating outside their race is not something that they're super familiar with. But like over the course of the show We've watched their connection really seem to grow into something real. Whereas with a couple like Casey and and Iya, at the beginning of the season, you're like, o like They seem they seem so strong, you know, he's telling her that she's like a beautiful black woman and you know, she is like upset when he might be exploring, but then it's like Oh yeah, you guys haven't seemed like you're like enjoying each other's company in two weeks. So it's kind of like those couples at the beginning that are kind of strong on paper can really like diverge as the season goes on I feel it The only strong couple right now. If B and Trinity Trinity. And I do think like I'm like, it sounds crazy to be like, oh, these people are going to be like They're going to date and get married after this amount of time. But I'm like it is like spending all day every day with someone and sleeping. I could see how it could Yeah, Inly. U But they're the only couple where I'm like it's it could work. I don't think any couple outside of this. Like when Zach goes back to Birmingham, we think Kate is going to trust his ass Yeah, withith Trinity and Bryice, it's like They actually They separated the beginning and they and he he pulled Kata for a chat. like so they you're right that they sort of challengeed their own connection at the very beginning and that's sort of the way to do it It was like a slow burn with them instead of the like Melan insincere And like honestly, I when he comes running back into the villa And like, I should have to you Chris, I cried. I was like, this is so adorable. I literally shed it here and I was like happy This is embarrassing. was amazing television. I'm sorry. thought that was amazing television. I did during Casa more, like I Love Island is one of those shows where I enjoy I enjoy the experience of watching it with friends and you know, all the TikToks and all the content about it. But like in my mind, I don't really actually care that much about like the couples, about the people you know, the friendships, whatever. And I did find myself last week when Casso War was like in the midst like still happening. I was like M, I hope Trinity and Bryice are okay. I hope they make it back together. And it was like it was like the I think the only moment this season where I felt actually like invested on any level above just like watching the show in is this couple going to make it? I mean, without she crying Now I'm like what's going to happen with Sincere and Melanie, but like because they're messy, not because I right. Yeah they have Dylan and I were talking the other day about how if Melanie were to kill sincere in like on screen that there wouldn't be a jury that found her guilty. It was the perfect example of it was a murder, but not a crime J. Yes, I would be on that same page What like it felt also that all of The guys were realizing Sinceir was a liar at that moment as well. Yeah. ye. even the people who even the guys who came in during Casa M were some of them were telling her like girl L he's not He's not being upfont with you. He's not being truthful with you. and she still chose him I wish she hadn't chosen him But the back to back to back to back lies is like So incredible. And I hope that They show like some of the lead up of the lies like I want to see in Kenzie's thing, I want to see Kenzie getting so mad at Zack and then cut to her dating Two guys at a time, two guys at a time, two guys at a time, two guys at a time And then she still still won't talk to Zach ' he told her he wasn't interested in her from the beginning Yeah. I mean, that's the thing about moovie Night is like it does feel obviously we haven't seen the second part of it yet, but it does feel like Producers of this show understand what the audience wants in a way that I guess if you're if a show isn't happening in real time like this, it's hard to sort of work with that knowledge, but It's kind of impressive to me how much it feels like they're giving us what we want and need as viewers. and it really develops over the course of the season in a way that I think like kind of no other show really is able to do that Yeah, it's kind of wild. it's and you don't really realize it when you're watching it until you take a step back really. But like they No know, they've over over the past couple of seasons of like really positioning us to the women, you know, and like and just them getting the live feed of Casa more and just it's it's, you know, Ariana hanging out with them like and that's why I want to stion Yeah exactly I want to be be cle that's why I want to be but it's like we're much positioned to be that way as well. Yeah. Meghan and Nllion literally being like, I decide who wins and it's girls I think to like comparing this show to like other maybe more like traditional dating shows, like I think the the core audience is so young and online and tuned into you know, pop psychology and oh, he's gaslighting you. Oh, you know, all these different kind of like niches of like dating world that feels like they have to be a little bit more in tune with those thoseose people, you know, people that are making dissertations on TikTok about Kasey and an INTT and like all of these different scenarios whereereas like on a show like The Bachelor, it's for like Midwestern moms who just want to see true love at the end of the day. Like this is a it has a little bit more you know, like There's a little bit more like energy going on in all of the like nuances of the show. And by playing into that, they know that they can like make these things that are popping or bubbling up on social media even bigger You know what I mean? And like or showing the things, the edits of what we are already like We probably wouldn't be seeing all of the gay Bryce and Zach as much as we are if people weren't like, yeah, he h't rivalry Zach and Bryce. I do love how Trinity plays into that. She's like, she's like, Zach, I got your m, you know, like I love that shit. Trinity makes me laugh so much. Like she just, what she's either like popping off or just like being funny. just I love to love her. I love trinity. Yeah, she's such a. She really is like she I think especially in like coming back from Casa the past week. I feel like it's so clear that she's like the the star of the season Yeah because last year there were, you know, last year was like People love Deelandria, people love Demayah, like there were like I feel like a couple Yeahah, like there were there were a few different kind of like main characters and this year it's like Trinity is really a cut above everybody else in terms of like Oh, she has she has the it factor. And I think now that that Brinity is like solidified and there are a couple, I think that she has much more confidence to like lean into that. You know what I mean? Kind of like what happened with Emaya midway through. L like she like really got through some confidence. Yeah, I think with Emaya, it was it was different because she score What happened to Amaya? Okaykay? I remember the Hooda thing. I remember the whole world being like Who is the worst woman on life? Wned midway through. I forget exactly what it was She struggled all season to find someone who really like vibed with her Yeah qukiness, I think and It was like early in the season., you know, she had like her connections in the villa that didn't really pan out. and then she had that guy that British guy Zach that she was talking to in Casa and he kind of like I don't like that guy. you know, ditched her. And then there was, okay, what they haven't done this season that I Hida would love for them to bring back is the standing on business challenge where Last season, Chris, they had a challenge where you could write like anonymous like comment cards about your fellow villa and they had to they had to stand up on a podium and read what people had written about them. So how that it was It was up to the people who had written it, whether they wanted to like own up to like I wrote that. And so There was lots of drama, but specifically Amaya had to stand up there and read people talking about how she's like too much and she isn't blah blah blah, not this, not that. And it was like Devastating And, you know, avent like some people owned up to what they wrote, but it was it was very like It was almost like I feel like the only we haven't gotten honesty like that and I think like I want to know what like Corbyn would write about C of a know how to like Right But they're sort of forcing it out of them with movie Night, but they can go a step further. Right. You know what I mean in terms of that actual honesty out. Yeah Yeah. so that's I would like them to bring back the the standing on business, Ch. Like it wasn't really like it wasn't really like, oh, we're going to shake things up. It was like, oh, you're just going to vote out the person you probably would have voted out To begin with, tootally I want to ask you about the An and KC situation because like When he came back What's your face? I'm forgetting her TT. How did you forget T? Yeah, with TT, but who I kind of love I feel like the reaction, I think the boys had a point that the reaction would have been very different if she had picked Carl over Casey that I have so much sympathy for Anaya. And since this whole moment, obviously Casey has like shown his ass in a million ways and he deserves to get it. But in the moment I felt like her reaction was more because she was embarrassed and regretted her decision not to pick Carl and Casey picked Ti over her. Some of her defensiveness is actually not landing for me. I know it's probably unpopular, but like initially I was like, well, this is the show. L he you guys didn't even have real romantic connection before this they were still pissed about watching him like talk shit about her. Yeah. And so then I think that when he sort of was defensive and then Ti started talking. It was just like there's no Yeah. of course. Like I think that if they had if he had, you know It could have gone a lot differently. I think Yeah, he didn't help himself. There's no way. I think Trinity for her messiness, but that situation wouldn't didn't really set off until Trinity asked the question about him being surprised that she and Bryce were one of America's favorite couples, which had really nothing to do with the cosant M coupling. But I think with Caseen and I I agree with you and I think that I think we talked about this on our episode this week that like people were questioning why why people were so like had so much smoke for Anaya, but not necessarily for Melanie picking sincere after Casa. and To me there is like the emotional level where it's like, did Melanie make an emotionally mature decision by picking sincere? Probably not, but she She played the game correctly. she gambled Melanie you hurt me up. Melanie like really liked her And with with Naya was not a good emotional decision to pick and it was also not a smart strategic decision. And so I think that to me is like the thing where it's like When she when she was saying she feels stupid, it's like, I don't necessarily think you should feel stupid for having feelings or, you know, being conflicted or whatever, but it's like you maybe should feel stupid that you couldn't have just like predicted that Casey was going to do that. I also feel like She didn't like KC that much. No, she did' it. Like I'm like you don't even seem to like him and then Why aren't you making out with him and stuff if you do like him? because you are doing that with Carl. I'm like you're fucking riding him on the first or second night where' it like She literally said she's like, I about fuck that man on the you're right. exactly that in that jumpsuit. So I do it was a little confusing, but I think Yeah maybe it was more just about like being rejected than it is Yeah that it was about that. and I understand that. I just felt like And let' say again, Casey deserves a lot of smoke. like he is he's yes, such, such trash, but like I just feel like it was almost just like misrepresented emotion. And like, I think with Melanie and sincere They had they had a vibe from the first episode. like they had chemistry from that premiere. It's just toxic and he's a liar. you know, But like they do have a they have a rapport and they have a they have nice chemistry. Anaya and Casey never had good chemistry and I think they just lik the idea of being with one another. and sort of I mean, I think now I'm sort of reminded of like last season when when Taylor picked what her face over Oandriaick Clark Yeah Like it's sort of, it'sort of similar where like I actually kind of believe in TT and KC more than I believed in KaseC and Anaya. It's just like it lands hard because you love like people really like the person who's being scorned basically. Well I think too like with CSa, it's tricky because they're always comparing like, oh, I had three weeks with this person. I've had three days with this person. Yeah naturally, it's going to be a different like you're evaluating on different criteria. but I think with As much as we don't want to be lustful on this season of Love Island, I like Bw objectively, I think you should pick somebody that you are like intont And so if you've had three days with somebody and you're more into them than you were into your previous couple, it's like yeah, like None of these relationships are that real at this mom. So if you're like, if you're like, I don't really want to have sex with this person and I really want to have sex with this person, person you want to have sex with. That's okay totally. So the new bombshells in Coore come in with their sight set on one person. like Yeah, ye TT was like, I want KC. and that feels good to be like sought after in that way. And so it makes sense that like the connections would pop off even more quickly Pysically. One thing I'm curious about after Movie Night because this wasn't like the main storyline, but I'm wondering Ta. seeing all of the stuff that Casey has said about Anaya and the way that he's moved and the way that he still is reacting to stuff, I am curious if she's going to be at all turned off by I think she likes it. I think she likes it. I think she's like he wouldnt never do that to me. Right That's very the vibe anytime, any relationship like that. It's like, I know that he killed you, girl, but he would never kill me I agree to it. I'm curious but I kind of think that she's down for it. I think that she's like ye.ike, she was kind of sitting there smiling, like, you know, biting her nail, you know, she liked it Didn't you think it was weird when he and Sydney were they showed him in Sydney like hooking up and she was also like She looked like she was turned on by that Yeah. But I' like, was she actually turned on or was she just like R on Be you were so mad about it at the time Right? I don't know I don't know. And the other the other person I want to ask you guys about is Kenzie And to me, Kenzie has sort of been a standout like She has a star quality to me. just about like being there. She kind of is very h star quality LOL. I do think she does like she has personality and a lot of these people have been really scared to show their full personality and she's I think it's just that I don't like her personality. I like her to goest. I really like Kenzie. I think and I appreciate that she's actually fucking doing what the show asked you to do, which is to like tonight T play the field. She's doing it too much obviously, but like she's not playing it safe like so many other people on this show do. and I appreciate her for that She's not L like I app if she was enzie but also was not like Dare a guy that I'm talking to hook up with another girl. Like that's where she lost me because I'm like Yeah you were hypocritical it is. like yeah she's so hypocritical and She's not a girl's girl. I think she fucked over Jen Jen, come on. Okay Jen Jen is growing on G Gal had already broken up with Jen That's iconic I'm going Kenzie and Jen. I agree. I've enjoyed her this season. And I think that again, when you're when it feels like you're watching couples Island, you need somebody who is not really attaching themselves to one couple. And I think that The conversation with Jen, I actually like That was my favorite moment of Jen so far because it felt like she was being really honest with Kenzie and watching Kenzie just completely not know what to do with S somebody actually could she is being hypocritical and she knows that. and she doesn Eactly Exactly. And I think that with with her and Jen, it's not that Kenzie like stole Gall away from her because like you said, they already had kind of split. Jen is clocking that Kenzie is not somebody that moves in a way that she tell her. Yes. Right. w She waited to tell her. Jen had previously kind of said that she didn't want her to when she and Gal were still And so I think like it just kind of Kenzie's behavior is like starting to kind of catch up to her and obviously we're going see that at movieight And I think the point in the season where it's like, I appreciate that she has been messy all season, but it's time for that to kind of Yeah come come up again. Yeah. Gal is not leaving with any woman. like Gal doesn't like anyone that's in there. I don't know how Gal got cast on the show. He's like, I don't want to kiss in front of people. I don't like what did people Somebody just come into his coffee shop that works at Love Island. A you to Fiji? I mean. And then what did you think of what's his name crying Dl in. I thought that was ridiculous. I thought I'm likel. What are you crying about? betweenetween him and the and the I'm forgetting her name, the woman that Corbyn's with ing like they've been together for fucking five months. Permita, like Permita. Yeah, I can't with her. I really I can't with When she sent them to have the conversation and she's like, whyy are they doing it right in front of me? They're right front of and then like And then she when she wanted to be closed off with him and like it's just like I just Those two artist, they're almost like doing what they think they should be doing. It feels like like Dylan's tears were fake. She was like putting it on. I don't know. they're annoying. I think they're act they're acting like they've been there longer than they have because they still then gives bachelor I think there's a pressure when you come back from Casa that it's like, oh, all these people are like the OGs, even if they' even if like they're not actually And like I have to be I only have a limited amount of time to like catch up establish my And So ye with Parmia camera time Parmita and she's like, No, I don't want to explore. Do you want to explore? Why would I explore? And with Dylan, he's like really overdoing it with Kenzie. and I think like I think fine to be like annoyed that Annoy way that she wasissing Gall, but it's like, yeah, the tears are a little much. Yeah. It was a lot. Yeah. I don't know. I am he acted like they were engaged. Kenzie pushed things O too many times. Obviously like she just shouldn't have done The makeakeout with Gal Which I can' imagine was very fun. Like No, it didn't look too great. G just looks like a robot to me, I don't. Did you see the coffee shop that Gal owns yesterday? They were giving free drinks to people named Jen That's smart. That's sm. That's the kind of real time marketing we like to see. Mind you, he's not even there so he like People are like, his employees are revolting. I'm like, I think it's fine. Yeah, I think it's okay. I think That's funny. That's ye What do you think of Zack not telling Kata Alana had left Casa I think it's weird You would think that sometime at night when you're like canoodling in bed, you wouldd be like, oh my Godd, it was so crazy. She kicked off for being racist. Right. That's the thing is like to me I evenven before we saw that on Movie Night, when it was like, oh is production not letting them say, what's the deal? I I always thought that Zach would have picked Kata regardless because I think that Yeah. I mean, I think he's telling the truth that he was not like As into Alana, whatever saying it just is so weird. And what I what was even worse to me was when Kata figured it out at Movie Night and that was was coming up. And then he keeps acting like, why does it matter? Why does it matter? I would have picked you. I would have picked you. whyy does it matter? And it's like It would be one thing if you had been like, it was awkward. I didn't know how to bring it up. I knew you would I knew you would be upset comes up and she is upset and he's getting defensive and being like, why does it matter? L That shows to me that you have like a low emotional intelligence, where it's like If you care about this person, just say, I'm so sorry. I didn't tell you Like You know, whatever, right O it. Yeah I was because I'm like, oh maybe production told them not to do it, but then when they obviously are, I'm like Okay. Yeah, it felt very odd. I would have like walked in first thing and been like, obviously I picked you. I mean, she got sent home ha haa but ye, exactly. like that's like, that's the headline. That's that's the headline of the whole situation So right. And if you just if you said it the first night, I think Kata would have been She would have been like she would have still had like feelings about it, but it would have been more like Okay, thank you. You're telling me everything. You you picked me. I where we can move forward. but now it kind of just sets them back to probably just as bad or worse as they were right when he got back from Casa. Zack, I don't trust. I think he's love with Brce I think yeah, there's something going on. likeike I think he does really like Kita But he gives vibes of like as soon as he like, yes, I love you and then the next day, it's like I I don't know that I actually like I don't know why you would think I actually love you. I was kidding, obviously when I said that. Right. When I when I binged By binging the show, I haven't really been caught up in like the conversation around it, which is like actually been kind of freeing, to be honest. L I feel like I actually have my own opinions based on on it. and like' onene thing I have seen pop up though is People are like, Zach is like always kind of like the first to defend the boy's bad behavior. He like he does move in a shady way I feel like he is not He's not as like ively terrible as a few of the guys on this season.ly not Sincere is always lying through his teeth. Corbin, I think is really kind of like dismissive of E that the women say Casey we know, but I think like Zach to me just is throughroughout the season, like he's showing kind of like tendencies to be dismissive or to minimize things or to be defensive in ways that I think are just like not necessary And I think that's where kind of the earlier in the season, I was like really positive on Zach and Kada almost as much as Bryceon Trinity, likeike they were like the best two couples. And I think that like that's where they've kind of he's kind of lost me a little bit is like I feel like you're just There are these little moments where it's like you're not doing the right thing and they kind of add up to now I'm like, oh, you you do kind of seem like you suck a little bit. Yeah. It's sneaky bad behavior Right Yeah. Yeahah I don't buy what he's selling. I'm like I don't know if it's that Like I feel like if someone that was more his type or whatever, like, I just feel like the right girl hasn't come to distract him yet Mhm. Like I'm like, I wouldn't trust that if he's out in the real world And also there's something about like brother was on last season. you know, he's he's been with he's been with her since the big with Kata since the beginning, basically. So it's like I don't know. It's kind of giving like playing it for the show, which like they're all doing to some comp. His mom is a stylist Oh, I didn't know that. No because he was helping Bryce with this saying he's like my mom's a stylist. I sound like her Uh like I'm like, this is like, you know Yeah If your mom is a stylist and your sibling has also been on love violland, you probably have grown up in a certain way I'm curious like Yeah, it does feel like this season there have been more kind of like out of off show connections than in the past where like Parmida saying that she DMed Corbyin in the past. Alana had like made out with Zach's brother Charlie. We know that you know, Jen and Bryce have, you know, known each other through modeling. Like it does it does feel like they're Maybe they need to like be fishing in a little bit bigger pool when it comes to casting because it does just seem like If you're only recruiting like in Miamle types who live in Miami and L.A. like you're going to get a lot of that kind of who are I mean, It's fine if people are like thirsty to be on Love Island. I don't really think this is a show where it's like here for the right reasons or not. Certainly not. but it is like If you are casting people who are kind of all in the same like of life. I think that does make it a little less interesting. It's also like especially after last season when the reason why Shelly and Ace like why their the public opinion about them like, you know went so far down was because people thought they were sort of gamifying it and like they had known each other before and were secretly dating the whole time. and like They weren't up front about that connection as much. So maybe they're also trying to likeike make sure that we know about those so it doesn't feel like they're they're trying to hide it from us. us Yeah. I agree. but why do they all have to have connections? Like there are enough people for them to I do get like it's probably hard to like find some hot people in Wisconsin and be like, want to come on a show and disgrace your entire family Damn the Wisconsin Kits are gonna be are gonna be pissed at you I'm like sometimes I amm like why do these guys go on here? I understand why the women go on. I'm like, why do these guys go on this show? Like Well, that's's why so many of the guys are terrible because these are the type of men who would. What type of man? ye, wouldould you want to date a man who is eager to go on Love Island? Absolutely not I will be curious like as this show continues in future seasons now having been a really like massive phenomenon for a few years willill you be able to sense that people are more conscientious of how they're being perceived and coming across because That's something where like I'm I'm honestly a little surprised this season at how much the guys don't seem aware of how they're coming across where like You know att least, you know, three or four of these guys are just like It seem like pieces of shit every week. I appreciate that I guess they're showing us their true colors, but I am kind of like season, if you have these guys going on, it seems like it's really in your best interest to just like a little more buttoned up for Caleb Tition or. Yeah But like we need like a couple of like a Bryice maybe one more Bryice. like, you know, yes. like O more guy who did like test things a little bit, but notot there's too many pieces of shit to decent men ratio. Yeah. I also think it's worth noting that Bryce is So so he's obviously older than some of them, which probably helps, I think. And I was like, I'm gonna shoot myself in the head I I think his birthday was like Tuesday or Wednesday of this week. so we might see it on the show. Okay. Okay. But yeah, no it is like Well, they have cakes, that's for sure. That's the tough thing is like I don't think Love Island would be the same if everybody on the show was thirty I like the vibe that it is kind of like young hot people here for the summer I would like a love island version With high thirties and forties. they cast more throughout their twenties versus if it does feel very like condensed of like most of these people are under twenty five. I I feel like the average should be twenty seven. would be a great or even a nice clean twenty five. I would take just slightly. C couple twenty five, twenty six. The youngness of it like is a hallmark of show and like they they had this like sort of reckless abandon. They that's sort of why they aren't thinking about all this all the time. And I think that's also like I don't watch the UK version of the show, but it is a longer season. I think that one of the reasons why people like that about it is because a certain point like halfway through I think that the people the islanders really do like start to forget that they're almost on a show in terms of like they're so far removed from the world for so long that like time to do that. I think that's sort of happening right now around Casa more, but like it is a shorter shorter arc. So Yeah. I guess another thing too is that like I mentioned before the The demographic watching this show is younger. and so like people that are you know, nineteen, twenty, twenty one, twenty two watching this show. They probably like that the cast members are M where they are in life or maybe being twenty four and managing a bikini store is so aspirational for a girl who's nineteen, watching Love Island with her friends. Whereas like if all the people on the show were thirty They would they would would be the m conned to it. Yeah. Eactly. It would be honestly older than the mas right. likeike I was like loving when Kedsy was like Yeah, like he started the coffee shop. That's exactly what I was looking for coming into this. Like what are you talking about? He has his own thing, you know.
