Hello and welcome back to another episode of Hower Hannah. I am Hannah. I am gonna be your host for this poor girl. Ebody lock in and enjoy the titles O time there was a stagey girl with a big dream. She hoped, dreams and prayed to work at TESCco. Wait, someone's written the script wrong. Comeing outid do. dream's a dream that one day I would hit the stage. And so it seems that dream has come true. Oh my gosh you guys it's really happening. My life has been changed for the better and of season the day and spinning into the spotlight ery sleigh, It's giving quQeen Hery F. Get out my scene. It's beginners call. The stage is set for me How Merry Hannah. How berry, Hannah. How merry Hannah? That's the name from a podcast show and Jon Francros so How berry Hannah? H's the likes! How berry Hannah? That's too right. How merry Hanah. That's alright. How merry Hannah. No key change. Okay, it's my podcast show. Let's go One of my favorite things to do is to talk in like a radio like news presenters is like, Hello. My name is Hannah Llda and I'm here reporting live with BBC one. it's not BBC onene, it's Halry Hannah. But hi I'm feeling slightly unhinged today and that's al right. It's Madeay off from Legally and we are in the studio. We're pumping out the episodes. I've got some really fun guests And today's guest, I'm actually really excited to sit down with and have a chat with because I feel like she's had some experiences in her career and in her life that I'm like, tell me everything about that please. I want to know the ins and outs. I want to know like even the small small details. And I think that's what's really interesting about like, jobs or experiences that other people have is I find other people's jobs really interesting, as much as like you know, people who follow me on TikTok find parts of my job interesting and they want to know like every single detail about like what we do. To me, that's just my day to day life and it's something that I've got used to now. but like I love watching TikToks of other people's jobs. like even people, I don't know I can't think of a single job. I think that's why people enjoyed some of the Tesco content to start with because like they don't know what it's like to work in the shop. so I was just like teaching them. So it's weird, isn't it? Like I Proucer Sophia does content about what it's like to be a producer and I love watching that because I'm like Please I actually want to know because all I not all I do, but you know, I just sit and chat and like there's so many other different parts. I remember asking my sister like she worked in a nurery at one point and I was like, please so talk me through your dayays, so you get to work at what time and exactly what do you do? and like what's in your day to day life? And she wass like, do I really have to explain this? I was like, yeah I want to know everything. I want to know like what time you go on your lunch break and like where you eat your lunch It sounds weird, but like I just like knowing like about people's days. Anyway, that took on a random tangent. Today I'm joined by in fact, let's just introduce her. Please welcome to the pod Sydney Christma Welcome to Halry Hannah. He ex What a delight to have you here. Thanks for having, Mate. Our first time meeting. well. but I've been a fan. I've been a fan. We've got mutual friends in the business. I'm actually shocked that it's taken till now for us to meet. we haven't crossed paths. We've only just like connected on Instagram, We've only just met, but yeah, we do have mutuals. I feel like in the industry, everyone just knows everyone. I know, it's one of them, isn't it? It's one of them So I want to start with BGT I feel like you've probably been talking about this for like two years now. It's going to be something I'm going to talk about for the rest of my life and I'm proud. I'm. I'm always waving the BGT flag I mean to right. You literally won Britain's gotot talent. I'm sorry, Did you ever see that on your bingo card for your life? No Absolutely not. I'm a lucky girl. Well, you're lucky but also you're very talented. And yeah, like what was the experience like? The experience was mental. It's amazing and Terrifying at the same time. I didn't know what to expect so I went into the experience going, just don't think about it. Just take it for what it is and whatever happens happens and whatever don't don't, L it's all right. but every second of it, or even all the negative that came with it, obviously online and stuff like that But everything's a learning curve and you just take everything in your stride and you just power on, and' it was amazing. That's such a lovely way to think of it. even the negatives are a positive in a way because it's just a life experience and a learning experience. Absolutely. was it made I felt stronger getting through that at the end of it. and I wouldn't have probably been the person and like resilient as I am today. If I didn't go through something like that, it was hard, but it was brilliant. Yeah. And it wasn't your like first and Do you know what I mean? Like you trained in musical theatre? you did musical theatre Si I've got a bonone pip with you. G because when I was training at Italia Conti We were obsessed with stage school If you don't know what stage school is, you need to get to know It was a TV show that they filmed at DMB Performing art is that what it's called? DB performing art. And you went there I was in it. You were in it. I really didn L no when I tell you like stage schoolch was our Roman empire. like we were literally ha seen at stage schoolool this week. And there were such short little episodes, but we lived for it and it's like, brring shows like that back Wh they's doing like exposes or like drama schools and like seeing everything that happens. I think like there is so much that happens at drama school. I know. That o my goodness.or did I just unlock a memory in your brain? You did, I really didnn't expect for you to say that. Stage school. Yes. I done a music video on it. I was playing rugby, singing Pretty Hurts by Beyonce. It was ridiculous. It was absolutely ridiculous, but so fun because When you're at stage school, you don't expect to go through anything like that. I'd actually left. right. They brought me back just to be in the program, which was quite fun So So wait, did you have to pretend like you were still a student You know reality TV, it's a little bit. We know how it is And it's a little bit scripted. Obviously they would just set these things and go like you're in this situation sort of like you would in a drama class. Yeah And they would go This what's going to happen Just make everything up, go And it was sort of It was not being in school anyway. we was like, okay, and whatever happened happened. That is so fun. So that the craz to me that they brought you back. They brought you back. I bet the other students were like, for goodness sake, she's already graduated. Where's my spotlight? DMB at the time, and still it's quite a small college even when you leave and they're so supportive used to go back and they were still my agency at the time So I knew all the students anyway. It't it weren't too. It was like a real. It was going home and I still go often and I love them dearly. so good. It was like schoolchool for Stars as well. Do you remember that? Did you watch that? School for Stars? I've heard of it, I didn't watch it. That was the Italia Coni one. But it was filmed in the London school and I went to the Guilford schoolchool. So I was always a little bit low key jealous of all the London students. But like Leayton Williams was on that. like he's obviously now gone on to All of the things Broadway baby. But yeah, I just wanted I just wanted to tell you that that like I've been watching you since twenty sixteen. I was I was one of the leads No, but like I didn and I l. Well. so cool. That was like my prime. That was like my prime drama school time. I'm obsessed So when you left drama school, what was the what was the deal? apart from going back to DMV and recording stage school You went to Bockham, didn't you? I did. I did I did. And before then It's hard getting into musical theatre. I was trying to do it before BGT for ten years and I could not get into the West End Like, you know how it is. it's so hard and cutthroat You know, I was just plodding along doing my little jobs and whatever. What were your side hasustsles? What were your job? U my side, I've done everything. I've had a cleaning business Wow. I've had a little dance school with not many students in Opington. What have I done B I worked at wedday, I worked at an egg farm. I was stuck in shelf Oh I I was chicken. So like actually like good memories. Yeah. I look back on my Teskco days and I'm like, Ah Wonder how all those customers are doing? I'm a fan. akTk fan of yours. I was living in lockdown for your video. I do miss it a little bit, you know, like my normal jobs. Yeah because it's like, I don't know, it's like keeps your feet on the ground. not doing a normal job that. But also you've had those so your feet are firmly on the ground. to remember because you look at how life is now and we are lucky to be on this little journey that we're on. and then you just look back to them times and go Yeah. All life experience. Yeah, absolutely. What was it my mumm used to say? She used to be like character building, Hanah, character building. like Yeahah. And I'd get home I'd be like so angry about like customers that had been really rude to me. She would be like, Sheusts character building Iah. I'm going to use this when I'm acting one day. And now I do.. There you go. So yes, you were doing all your side jobs Yes Working auditioning for ten years. Yep I' done a couple of cruise ships. The first one that I' done when I was nineteen, it was for Royal. and then I come back And then I did do a show in London, but it wasn't I really wanted it to be My West End debut, but it wasn't, it was off West End. it was in King's Cross and everyone's like, you can't say that's West End. And it's so funny because when I went on BGT People were like, she's been on West End before think You all said that I didn't when I was in it, so now you can't say that I did. That' so true. You actuallyually it was off west E. It was off west End, everybody. G the facts right Yeah, it's like the other palace as well. That was my like. I was like, o, I'm making my West E like adult West End debut Heathers and they were like, actually it's off west. And I'm like al right, okay, fine. Let's say West. It's right next door to Wicked, so who cares So I did Lazarus and that was a short landal contract and then I went back on a cruise ship and then I went to Germany. Wow. I was there for four years. And you were skating your heart out b All I hear well, not all I hear but a lot of what I hear about that show is' just injury, injury, injury. And that scares me so much. Did you have any injuries? Oh yeah. I twisted a bone in my spine. Oh yes H broractor, Eat your heart out. I fell in the audience. there's a part of the stage and We call it the ovaries and the I won't say the word that we call the middle of it, but I fell into intont that. okay. okay, okay to that. And then you just get back on stage again, you just sorry to the audience member that you just landed on. Yeah, I know. You're on time code, aren't you? So you just got to carry on catch up with the music again. Oh my goh. So how long did you start like for fourour years? Four years. Who did you play? I was a swing. Okay, swinging. I was swinging that swing brain. Yeah. Do you enjoy Do you enjoy swinging? loved it? Yeah. I really, really, really loved it. with Starlight You're always on swings keep the show going Yeah. becausecause when you're on every night. and then when I went to first class, I understood because your body is under that much stress every night ound to get in jred like your knees and I'd done McGroin a couple of times and it was just sore throughout but it just comes with the job. The swings are the backbone for sure. Yeah, Say it louder You are babe. And So four years. Yeah. And then BGT straight after. I come back in the June and then January I auditioned it and w wow And then Golden Buzz are away Also we talk about Amanda Holden for a second love Let's. Is she nice? She's amazing. I want to meet her. She's amaz Down to earth, hard working woman I have ever met and she deserves everything and she just wants everyone to have the best life and do well and She just radiates happiness and joy for everyone around her. And support and support hundred percent n soon as VGT finished. I didn't know what happened and I was like What happens now? I get a message from go and call me, Sid. And she was like, it's going to be fine Do this, find this, tryry this blah blah blah blah blah. That's amazing. Advice and just support. It's great She's amaz And she's theatre garly. Oh no. She's like a theatre icon. I feel like I feel like people actually don't know this and maybe they do. But I saw her as Princess Fiona in track at the was. She was incredible.ike she's an Olivier nominee. Oh no. four, Thoroughy M modem Millie.. Which is my manager Lucy's dream job. I don't know like Millian Thor M mododem Millie is her dream job. She wants to follow in Amanda's footsteps I mean, don't we all? Yeah Right? Yeah, she's amazing. Do they feel like she took her notot liking to you, but like she she took you under her wing more because She sees like the theater in you and stuff like that.ike that's her background. Maybe. think we both hit it off friendriendship wise but I think maybe. Yes. Yeah She saw your little stagey bone that I was like C let do. she really Oh my gosh, I love that. And then I'm just sitting like read off your CV. I'm so sorry I love that's fine. But my little CV. Well, come on, like you played the Baddy of all Baddies, Corlla as a film Food. I've heard it was kind of terrifying. whichich she's meant to be. I loved her. She was so fun. I definitely based my Cuella off of Glen Close. I'm obsessed And I think if it's no broke, it don't broke, if it don't broke, don't fix it No it. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. obsessed with her Yeah growing up and everything she done. And I wish my career to be like hers, so I was like, cling close all over. And so there was actual dogs in that, wasn't there One at the end. And can we talk about like how how well behaved was this doll? Oh, amazing. Oh o. She just used to come on and it was so amazing. The little puppy had stage fright at the start, but then every night, just learn what was going on and then was like like looking around the stage and stuff. I mean, they say never work with Dogs or children. Yeah There's dogs in legally as well and It's a It's been a learning curve. It's been character building. Yeah. Because there's one bit as my character where I have to feed the dog I don't have to feed the dog, but to get the dog to do anything, I have to feed him basically. And he comes on and I go, Bruiser, where's Ell and I've got a bit of ham in my hand. Spoiler I've got ham in my hands and I run off and I get the ham so that it doesn't go so it doesn't go like horrible and like condensation in my pocket. I have to go off and get it And I stand there and this dog, when I tell you like I have to get these two nails redone all the time because he bites my nails because he's trying to get the ham and I'm trying to obviously if I give it to him straight away, he'll be like to see y you. And it's quite a long section. Yeah. So there So he's like trying to get to this ham and I'm like, ooh, yeah, it's quite I don't mind getting a bititt in a little bit. Yeah people'm likeh o, I've been through the same thing when I was doing the promo for one hundred and one.. This watch? because it came Sorry, Tom was my PT going We must work out tomorrow. When I did the promo, I went on this morning and there was a young Teenage Damation They comeing with me Yeah. but absolute Okay, rightight Okay. And was jumping over me jumping over it was a rain, jumping over a rain. Absolute like a it was amazing like a little shhetland pony and my hand. I was literally answering all the questions and I was like, my hand's gonna start bleeding in a second. L literally was like over my head. And I was like raw, Is that the first time you'd met that dog? Yes. Isn't that so funny that like you get you have to do promo for these shows and it's like Here's a dog, go. Yeah. Okay. And it was like They got the most craziest amazing fun dog for this very quiet live TV. The live TV. I love it. I'm like, I'll do anything. I'm like, right, whatever. Come here. I feel like a live TV interview is stressful enough though, let alone with the dog. Yeah. But I guess you're used to it by now. doing that live interviews and you know what? I love that because you're forced to just go whatever happens happens it forces you to relax. Yeah. If I'm thinking about what I've got to say on and all the information that I've been P to try and get out, I'm like, I'm to say everything stutter and everything, you know You did Hunun Darmatations with I mean lots of people, but Aston. Yeah. Aston from JLS. Was that your childhood as well? JLS. Absolutely. He came on the pod. We had him on the pod a couple of months ago and I was literally like, Hi everybody in love sorry. I couldn't stop. I couldn't stop. What was it like in rehearsal? wasing Oh good, absolute. He's so funny so funny. I love his content as well. I know And he's got all this content with his kids now. and like they're insane. they're so good. I don't know how they have time to do it. I don't know how you have time to do it. it's so stressful, isn't it? all the content? literally, we're like twenty percent performer, but then The rest you've got to be social media I know, yeah, it is a lot. It's like a job. It's a full time job. one hundred percent. But Well done you. Thank you. I do feel like the reason why I feel so passionate about carrying it on even when I'm in a contract and stuff is that like I truly don't feel like I would having these opportunities to be in these shows and to have these contracts if it wasn't for the support that I've had on social media from the start. Do that make sense? Well Absolutely. you're so talented and you can't take that away. Thank you. You' get there It's going to happen either way. I don't know, I don't know. I feel like during lockdown, I had definitely had moments where I was I am never going to make it in this industry. Oh. And you know, we've all had those moments like when you're hustling I trained at Cont's whilst you were doing state school. And I graduated and I I went out into the bigig wide world and I had an agent and I was auditioning, I was working in a million different places as well. and then I was like, hold on, this isn't working. So I went back to training and it's like, it has been a hsle. I went back and did an extra year of training and then graduated from there and was like, okay, let's try this again. and then COVID hit. And then I was at Tesco and I was like, this isn't happening and that's okay And let me figure out something else. I signed up for I've spoken about this before, but like I signed up to be a personal trainer And I my I didn't even have a gym membership at the time. Like I don't know why I did that, but I was like, I need to do something active. That's And finally. just before BGT. I did my level three PT. I I still I literally thought about today was I still need to hand in my coursework. I've got like a year to do it And are you going still do? Yes yes,es because It was expensive. I was like, this is ten years now. West End is not happening. I need to I need to retry and someone else thatame. Yeah And I was doing this online course so I don't think I complete a single module to be fair with I think I just was like, okay, let me try and like throw some money or something at the situations try and help me. And then luckily TikTok kind of came through. And I was one of them on TikTok. Your videos are giving me hope. Yeah. S When you think Oh, it wouldn't have happened if What you were doing, you were creating hope for everybody that felt exactly the same j and that was me That's crazy Oh look at us Oh I'm sorry. I'm so not with. Right. Should we do a handangles that line? H hotline. Oh, the last are and Sdney quit. Oh, get it Hello. Hi guys I'd love to know what's the one thing that drama schoolool doesn't prepare you for Y stage secrets from BGT. Well, that's a very Sydney specific question. I can't help with that Backstage Over to you from BGT. I love that you're holding the phone so they can' sorry, I'm just thinking two seconds. My mum had this top on because my mum is my biggest fan and it said I'd like to Sydney, blah bl. And then Amanda was like We we should get a picture Janet, my mum, Janet They swap tops And I was like This was obviously before me and Amanda were We' friends. Yeah. All right, Janet. next minute. takeake top off. slot You don't have to tell my mum twice. She was like Al right, then next minute Bra. rightight everyone's in their bras. I wasit you like, you can't write this It is just so funny. So then Amanda put the top onve got we've got a seellf food together. We're going need proof of this Yes please. I love I have. Please send it a phot and photo evidence It's like you just can't write it. I've got Amanda Holden And my momum's just sitting next to each other just chatting in their brara And at this point, I'm just holding ono the top being like are we doing the picture? But yeah I'm wondering what top Amanda was wearing to swap Do you know me? Iaybe she swapped out. She was getting her makeup found out so it was just like a big te I think just that could fit over everything that ro in the hair was so I was like, takeake your top off right now.. Literally. You should have got some spares made up in case In case that happened, I wonder if Simon would have done the same I don't Maybe not. I don't think so. Was he scary? No. Oh, fine Hey, I love Simmon Cow He's justin. I know he may come across as the baddy judge. I think he's definitely softened over the years being a dad and stuff. I love him. He is the most kindindest man justust think he gives everyone this platform and this opportunity and he just wants everyone really to do well. Yeah, you know I didn't actually have a lot of interaction with Simon. I don't know what X factor is like, but BGT is different. obviously it's not like Jud's houses or they're your mentors or whatever. I did have that looking quite a thing with Amanda, but we were just friends for h And So I'm just I chose what I wanted to sing. I made my versions and I just see him on the night and He would say lovely things and whenever Ied him, he'd give a hug or whatever. and ye it was lovely. And what who were the other judges in your season? It was Bight love No know We don't talk about Bun No, no, no. B Br was amazing. and Alicia. Oh ye cool. Love them all. Oh my god. Alicia's great a vibe. Wow, the most coolest woman I think I've ever met me, what do you mean? cool you are. You are the Russia. I'm not cool. You are cool. I wouldn't say I'm cool. But I think not cool is cool you're cool. You're so cool. Okay, tell that the Okay, cool, yeah, exactly. What I mean? Like I was trying to say something cool and it didn't work. I was going say tellell the haters that. Okay, right. Well I can't answer that helpline Helline, hotline back to secrets's a bey try to make one up So so when I was on BeJ team Um Ashley and Pudsy where How long ago was that? That is such a fast buggy. What year was that To me, that's like, it was yesterday. Were late Was actuallyhy in Puzzy, let's say, twenty eighteen According to this thirteen. Oh my gosh, twenty thirteen. Do you think Ruben would be good on I'm a celeb? Hannah and Ruben? My've got I'm a celeb I didn't mean I wasle in BGT. I'm not okay today. I don't know like my brain's are connected to my mouth. Do you think Ruby would be good on BGT? No. He would be a bit like sprouting leegally and he would just bite my fingers until I give him a treat. But he's cute, so he gets away with it. Red alert, reed alert, interruption. I'm interrupting the show myself, I'm interrupting my own show with a just a little Lost the word just a little note to say that there are still tickets available for my live show at the Garick Theatre in London's glittering West End on the twenty fourth of May. So basically be there or be square. It's a podcast show. But I feel like a podcast show doesn't really explain it very well because it is a podcast show, but we've got singing, we've got dancec and we've got games, we've got participation, we've got special guests We have got It's all happening basically and I would love for you to come and join me. so you can get tickets in the description or the show notes below and I can't wait to see there. B o, go back to the regular episode now. seeee ya What note was that on? That's an A Wait, are you good at like guessing notes and stuff that'sly Christmas. Okay, what note is this F F Is it Whit almost three Yeah. Yeah, right I was good.. Was that an actual guest?? Was that just a stab in the dark or was that? Yeah In my head I was like See. D See it. Well I can't just go see. L I don't know what that is. Someone's gonna be washing your going or that su me. That was totally wrong. Wait see That's. S Is that how it works? Isn't it? D't Ring me fast attude? Oh yeah, isn't it? D d d female do you sure Right? A drop of golden sun. Do you have the confession? Okay, she said it We're just filling time. Okay Now let's go for Confessions of a drama een. Okay, we have a listen a confession here. Hey Hannah. so my school is doing Mean Girls Junior and I auditioned for Karen Even though Regina George is genuinely my dream role because my best friend went up for Regina and I wanted her to have it My drama teacher knows me really well and was pretty confused by my audition choice. And now the cast list has come out and she's cast me as Regina anyway with my best friend as understudy Oh Squeaky bom time. Okay, I feel terrible I know how much my best friend wanted this and part of me thinks if I turned it down, she'd get it. But I also really want to play Regina George, what do I do? That's a really tricky situation. I just wow. It sounds like you are playting everyone else before yourself. whichich is a lovely trait to have But sometimes in life You've got to just go for what you want. one hundred percent and I think whatever iss meant for you won't pass you by. And that is a clear example, honey. one hundredundred percent ha. What a lovely lovely person. I know. So like if Regina George is your dream roob, but you're like actually my friend really wants it, so I'm gonna to just let her have it But the teacher was like, Nope, not happening. The teacher was like, No not happening like you're getting it anyway But if you think about it, right I don't know what your friend has been cast as They've obvious got understudy Regina Your friend might have the best of both worlds Because understudied reggina still was slay And you get to work together, you get to be a team, you get to be team Regina, you get to like work on that part. together and although you have booked the lead, Your friend will still get a chance to learn it and maybe do it and do it in rehearsals and stuff like that. So like they'll still get a chance to do it and you tried your best. You tried your best to help your friend out. But also Karen is a cool role. Karen is suchuch a good role. If anything, maybe Karen's more fun than Regina. Right? Because I mean, I don't know, I've never played either of them, but like Regina iss just getting nasty and kind of dead pan. whereereas Karen maybe you get to do more and things. Yeah. So like if your friend's been casted as Karen, then She's such a character role. Re. Don't feel bad. Don't feel bad at all. You tried everything you could. And if they're a true friend, I do feel like they would be like Oh congrratulations and then hopefully they'll be happy. also Thank you for being a nice friend for even trying. L that's such a haveave that conversation. You know, I think have that conversation. You tried. Yeah, you absolutely tried and you want each other to win and that's how it should be. Yeah, you know that is both sides. Yeah, that is such a lovely trait, isn't it? to put other people before yourself. But I do feel like Sometimes you have to have a word of yourself and be like, okay, you can still be a nice person but put yourself first. Of course, you know, one hundred percent And Celebrate your win bab, well done for you. You got it. You're gonna be a Regina Jch R Andre you're gonna do it. And if you turn around and say, actually I don't want it. Please don't do that Do not do that. because what she's saying is if I turn it down then she thinks her friend will get offered it And I'm Mike. Don't do that because if that's the role you want and that's what's ended up in your lap then I think you should go for it but maybe you're just going to have to be careful around conversations and like e keep your friend in mind that it's a role that they really wanted, but like yeah, just keep mind. As long as you're respectful and mindful about it and and spepe, you know, she's covering the role as well. So like, Try work with her on it. I think that's the best advice I can give in this scenario. Is that good advice? It was good advice. So soilst we're talking about mean girls, do you feel like you know mean girls quite well? Okay, who plays Regina in the twenty twenty four movie version of Mean Girls? Is it all named. Wait, wait, wait, R Renao Rp Rp Yeah It takes a second for anything to like dilute my mind. Oh goodness, G Aome What about want to say something third? Yes. Yeah, october third. Yeah 's so difficult. I'm sweating. I' sweating. please.. It is hot in here to be fair. So you were, you briefly touched on it then H that was stududio, writ in music have And origin your first original songes has recently come out runun Run, run boy, run. It doesn't like that, sorry that't it. Run, boy, run boy run. That notad that e. And what's it been like writing your own music? I've been writing since I was eleven Wow. Yeah Just in my room D't know why That because I Yeahah, just because I wanted to. And I got a song recorded I had like a little experience given to me by my auntie for Christmas and it was like it' studio experperience day. Go in there. So I took my guitar and I went in and I wrote a song and recorded it And I think I don't know if I've told any of my lovely support is this that I'm going to re record that and put it on the album. Oh my go, But I'm going to put clips of my fourteen year old self, which I got recorded onto this onto this track. What a full circle moment that'll be you. Bless a little sidled be uzzing absolutely buzzing. But so yeah, I've been rightit since I was young. I actually released in lockdown. Songs with my friend Steph. but they are very different. It's like You me bab really cool stuff just for fun. but now I've got an opportunity to be like, okay Sydney Who are you as an artist now whichich is really, really cool. It's like I'm learning a whole new side of myself, which I always wanted to learn and wanted to pursue. I've got the chance to do it, so I'm trying to run with it, run, run, run p in the pan Yeah the R pan. Trying to rum with it. It's been amazing. I've loved it. I've really, really loved it and every day is a learning day. Yeah So the first song from the album that's been is it an album you're ye out with? I c When's the full album gonna be out? The end of the year That's so exciting. See, I don't know anything about this world. so like neither did I. Yeah, except just writing them but then actually doing it, you learn on the job. Yeah, I think. So you do like certain tracks, you release them and you release them and then you have the full album. Yeah. I've been in songwriting sessions now for about eight months and I've been going in with different songwriters, meeting different producers. sometometimes I go in and I've been and I'll go. I wrote a song last night, let's see if we can put music to it or whatever. then It's just it's very chill. I've probably got an album's worth even more of songs now. And then you look at the album as a whole and you figure out what direction am I going here? The album at the minute is looking very optimistic and very like fight for your life which is so cool because at first I was like What Sydney? What have you got what have you got to say? But then Little did I know, it's sort of just written wrote Right? Rote itself. So that was right. Yeah. Sorry exciting. So by the end of the year, you're gonna to have a full blown album. Yeah. A physical album. A physical album. We're aiming for Obviously there's got to be a deadline for everything September That scares me because it has to be delivered and finished by May put everything into production is and it takes a lot of time. So let's pro for September but end of the year. So you're a busy girl basically for the rest of the year. Yes, yes yes. Have you got anything else coming off exciting that we can talk about? We at the minute are Hopefully put it together a it little tour to come off the back of the albums because that'll be great. The album comes in I and G and tour again, which would be amazing. That's just if I could just like album tour, album tour, album tour, I'd be made forever. And obviously musicals in between because If I could live my perfect life, which I would love to try and aim for like Barbar Streiser would be one foot in theatre and then one foot in making your own music and then movie star. I mean, it kind of feels like you're already doing that. Well, so let's manifest more of that. Manifest more. Mifest. Cy Christmas supremacy everyone. So everyone go and stream run. Wherever you stream your music Right? Yes, that will be available on all platforms and I hope you like it Yes. But you know what I was actually thinking about Is it helpful for you as an artist when people use your music on like TikTok and Instagram. Yes and funny enough, I'm really happy I've I didn't know I was going to do this, but I've released Run in marathon season. And very clever. I know, but I didn't know. But also I'm running more at the minute because my partner is a run ahead and he's obsessed and' been a run ahead for years and has just run marathons hisself. so he's got me into running. Oh my I'm doing it myself but people are using the sound. So yes, go and use the sound. it really helps and We need to make like a TikTok dance or something. Yes, we do. we do. go with it. Yeah I don't run, so I can't join in with that. But I can try. I'm you know I'm not a runner unless I'm like running for the train but maybe Maybe that could work. So G go and stream R run, G go and use it on all your TikToks and your Instas stories and all of that jazz And make sure to follow Sydney wherever Do are you on TikTo Yes, I need to get better TikTok.
