I'm here with Xeno Blade Chronicles, the Nintendo Switch two Edition Of course, this came out a few weeks ago alongside the Nintendo direct back in June. and yeah, I've been super into this. I've been super into this. I called an audible a late game audible today to switch over to Xenoplay Chronicles because I've not really had an outlet to just talk about Xenob Blade and share it with the Calf channel. I've been streaming it a lot just on my personal channel, but like I really want to talk about this game and I want to share it with y'all because Let me tell you Y'all might not know about this game called Zenoblade Chronicles. Let me tell you Let me tell you U, but Chad, how's it going how are you guys feeling? I am thirty hours into this game Right? If you're not familiar with Xenoblade Chronicles, of course, it's a JRPG from Monolithoft, published under Nintendo, originally came out on the Nintendo W. and the remaster, as you can see, Looks phenomenal Looks phenomenal. Uah I've been super into it, you know? L if you know where I'm at in the game of course, I'm just entering this area. I just got done with like a big story moment and To reel it back a little bit, right? Xenob Blade is a game that takes place on the surface of a Titan called Bionis. You play his shulk and a crew that comes together to get revenge for an attack that their community experienced from a bunch of what they call mechanists, which are like these mech like creatures Um after being attacked and after the seemingly after seemingly the murder of Fiora, who is a girl that Chok was friends with U Shok and Dcrew decided they wanted to get revenge and go after the Mconas On the way, we experienced detours. We met with the Hyentia But now we're back We're back on the path to revenge How's it going SSJ Piclo The X hole does go deep Yeah, main event wrestling I blame blessed for my addiction to this game. Washed a couple of odds, went went and bought the game and love it. I can't recommend Xenomob Blood Chronicles enough It's a game I've always wanted to get back to So I'm glad they releaseed it on Switch too. Um A few things about it, right I kind of giveave you the overall story description there I really like the story. I really like the environment design. Like look at this shit. I think one of the reasons why I really mess with this game, I really like it is because it reminds me of dark Souls in terms of some of the environments and levels Like this reminds me so much of crystal crystal I think it's called crystal caves from Dark Souls Really, really impressive environment design. Honestly, it's very enlightening playing through this and seeing why Nintendo has monolith involved with games like Zelda And then another thing I like is the combat system. The Combat system is very MMO like in nature. It's a lot of passives It's a lot of coolown abilities. It's all like positioning so I can get like a backstab or a side stab And then using some of my other abilities to inflict Status effects. H we go, we're fully locked. We're fy locked in, Chat There we go There we go. shocker rocking Chat says he did Prison Island. Oh no. Here's the thing, right? I recorded myself doing Prison Island. And so that footage is not lost. Um I do now, if I knew I was gonna stream this today I wish I saved Prison Island for this dream because Prison Island is lit. Prison Island is sick as hell. U But yeah, I do have that recorded. I'll have I'll uploaded at some point So he' like Final Fantasy twelve. The thing though is that Cer Chronicles very much is not an MO. The combat system just has like some MMO elements to it. But I like it. likeike you it's auto attack and so like You know, once I go up to an opponent or to an enemy, my character starts auto attacking, but then I have abilities that I can use in real time that are good for certain moments I'm also playing with my boy, Ricky. It's Chrism says, Xeno Bay Chronicles St is one of my all time favorite games hell, yeah. And then Xeno and Chat says, LlloL Blus found a way to to get paid to play this respect. Listen If there's anything I'm gonna do rightight now, it's going be a toine time playing to play Z old B Chronicles. But then also that's the ethos of this company. That's what we're calling it by the way we're calling it the ex hole Well yeah, once we get toward the end of July, that's when war games start coming out.. Do I have the lure It's too far Um But, you guys know it is. once we get to the end of the month, which Zeno Blade two I believe comes out end of this month early next month. It's like sometime in the next thirty days, I'm pretty sure I'm not gonna to have time because yeah, it'll be it'll be halo campaign involved. It'll be Avatar, it'll be Marvel Tokon and I really want to get into those games. And I also don't want to burn myself out on Oh shit Oh, this is the first time I've seen a slide in this game Um am, Marvel, all this stuff, and then it just doesn't stop for the fall. And so I want to make sure I pace myself out. Now somebody says Michael and Chan says Bless was playing Confidencence ten and seemingly dropped it for this. I wonder why. It's because I enjoy this more That's simply the reason I was enjoying Final Fantasy tenX, but again, it comes back to the time thing It's hard to make time for a longer game But then also I started playing this and just I was way more into it Portugalsught to be eliminated. Wh's Portgal up against Fin of Fesve twelve is kind of like this. Interesting Oh snap Yeah Yeah, onene thing about this game is I just think it's an overall really well made RPG Really well made GRPG. Well, you know what's funny? I've heard many people talk about Final Fantasy twelve like that. I've heard a lot about thirteen, I've heard a lot about ten, I've heard a lot about seven, of course. E as well I don't hear that many people talk about ten. Did I get to play the Avatar Ba last week? No. I didn't play the Avatar Ba last weekend. I was play What was I doing Was it this last weekend? And I was about to like, I was gonna watch the rest of Era T time when they were tied because I really wanted to see Caboverde pull the win. But as soon as Argentina scored, I was like, o, it's over. It's done. There's no way, there's no way. So then I turned off the game and drove to my birthday venue And then by the time I got there, the game was done, I looked at my phone, saw that two more goals had been scored Like Caboerde must have scored minutes after I cut off the game. and it was an incredible goal. Maybe the best goal of the World Cup so far And then of course, Argentina scored and then oneon anyway. But like if I had solw that goal in real time, I couldn't explain to you the feelings I would have felt. Just see that happen N Us to this. I don't want the smoke I that! H that! You must me! Yeah N Thisneak Raky Pow! Let's keep on going like this guys. I can see this isn't pushing you at all. Mono says Zenoblade the secretreh of prequel I've been overlooking. Never watched extended gameplay of Zenoblade before now I wouldn't go that far as far as the reasons why you probably love Breath of the Wild ight? Be I imagine a lot of that is the open world and the systems and the physics and all that stuff. like the puzzle solving, stuff that I love Breath of the Wild for. That said, I do think it's worth checking out because I do think one of the things that does impress me similarly to something like Breath of the Wild, but I've been comparing it more to Elden Ring is the world The environment design, it's very beautiful and very well rendered, and I think the setting is really interesting Both the way they've laid out the setting and then also the story behind the setting, the game's narrative itself Takes Its own setting so u L guys like a very big factor into the story that they're telling. and I find it fascinating I find it really interesting Because if you missed it at the beginning of this, right? Like the game takes place on the surface of a titan of like a dead titan. That's like And that was in battle with another tyitan And they go all the way with that concept in ways that I didn't realize having not played through it before. you know, I always assume like, oh, cool, okay the game takes place on a titan. But now that I'm this far in the game, I'm like, yo, there iss really interesting conceptual stuff that they're doing with that idea as far as like A I don't wan to spoil anything I don't want to spoil anything. One thing that's not a spoiler that's more of a I guess me reading into like the concept and So far, stuff that they're stuff that's happened. I don't I don't think the game gets into u At least what I to sayve I think there's something really fascinating about warring nations when your nation literally is warring the nation. You know what I mean? Like when you were When you have enemies that are coming from the Macanus, which is the other Titan that the Bionis is fighting, and it's like we're fighting the Mconus. and it's like, why are we fighting? It's like, well Literally our places that we live, our nations that we live on, are interlocked in battle I don't know. I think there's something really cool symbolically about that. Now I don't know how far they're gonna take that concept, but already like they've done things just with the Bonist versus the Mechanist that I find really cool Is USA versus Belgium tonight I realizeed I was tonight Oh hold on we got Not you Whenoner y'all have a quest tie to you guys?
