I like Nintendo, so I can't really see how this goes wrong. but I've never Never had the chance to play it before, but it also was from an era of Nintendo that is kind of like not my favorite thing. like the DS evenven like Game Boy advance really weird experimental stuff is not my jam when it comes to the Nintendo stuff. I've fall into some of the other lanes a little heavier. So We'll see, but I am excited to give it a shot Anybody else Yeah I'm excited for this. Yeah. I'm like Tim. I never played I never played actual Rhythm Heaven, but I have played indie games inspired by Rhythm Heaven. for sure. And a few years ago, there wass a game called Melatonin that came out. That was one of them. and I love that game. That game has such a fun vibe, such fun style, really good music. So I'm excited for this just to see like playay the original, play the one that made everybody nostalgic and have love for this style of game. And I think the ar style is cQ. and I don't expect there's going to be that much of a commitment Oh, yeah, for sure. And so if I can get this done in like five hours, I'm good. I'm excited. Also july second hyper wired coming to play station four Xbox series, Xox yad, y, yada,ada, yad July third sees scholar adventure Mystery of Silence come to Xbox one, switch PlayStation five, etcetera, et cetera. Ugrounded on PC july sixth gets Eesports mananager twenty twenty six on PC And then july seventh, doom the Dark Ages Revelations comes to Xbox series PC and PlayStation five. Hell freezes over and doom the Dark Ages Revelations and all nude campaign expansion, all new, not nude. campaign expansion that unleashes a brutal new chapter of the Slayer's saga. Wounded and betrayed, the slayer is thrust into a merciless purgatory, only escapable by confronting, haunting truths and forgiving No forging new strengths with the help of a mysterious ally anybody Yeah That's odd because d the dark ages for me, like I liked it. I didn't love it. I wasn't over the moon on it. So it's like I enjoyed my experience. I'm sure I'm going to jump into this, have a great little weekend of ripping through all the levels and then just kind of walk away I love that they're doing DLC for it. I'm very hit or missed on video game DLC in general Like I'm usually it's tough for them to capture me because it's been a year time off. I've taken time off, and I'm like,h, I had my time with this game. It's hard for me to like want to come back like that. But I really like to doom the dark ages. And so this will very much be an in the moment decision for me of like o this is out. am I feeling do feeling do I want to hop do I want to hop into it? But really cool that is coming out now Yeah, you know, Andy was our big Dark age specific guy. so I'm interested what he has to say about this one. I'm with you blessing the DLC stuff of like it's kind of hard to get excited for it sometimes even if it in the moment when you're playing the game and the credits roll and you're just like, man I want more right now Yeah. And then by the time it comes it's like I'm playing something right now. back in. Are there games that we've been playing this year that y'all think that you're definitely going to want to play the DLC for for me, Jond and I was going to say of the two Oh worry Yeah Yeah st resond for sure. I would go Pickopia, you know, I think it's August right. We have that new land coming. that'll be of day one. I'm boot that up, getting me sure I'm back into that. is they if they put out Screamer DLC, which I do not expect, I would be all in on Screamer DLC That's a good call. Of course, doom of the Dark Ages Revvelations DLC costs nineteenllars ninety nine cents is a standalone purchase. But if you have premium or collectors, it's included for free. It's that thing where it's like I'm always excited to try a new game and be part of but I'm like, I miss it. I miss it. last night I was like playing of stuff and I'm like I missed pragmat. The iconic solo pirate adventure returns sail the Caribbean as Edward Kenway during the Glden age of piracy this faithfully enhanced remake, featuring stunning visuals, upgraded gameplay and new content. It will be fifty ninears ninety nine Bart I got to start with you How how pumped are you? You went did a preview event for us? I did do the preview for this what was that a month or two ago. And yeah, at least with my time with it, right? it seems to be living up to that promise of hey We're going to make Black flag. Even prettier to today's standards and we're going to make it play a little bit more modern. seemeems like they they're hidden that with the time that I've had with it. So ye. yeah, I'm excited this is one of my favorite in the series, you know, I'm the opposite of blessing. I love pirates. I love piracy. I love, you know, fighting against, you know, the crown and all that shit. And Edward's story, I think is is a really good one and one that stands out even today amongst the rest of the series. so I'm excited to go back to it. wouldn't download a carbt Yeah I would, because who the fuck is it hurting blessing No one . Yeah, I loved Black flag back in the day on my PlayStation four and then listening to you, Barrett talk about this one. I was like, Damn, this sounds really cool. I'm anxious to jump in and see if it'll just be a fun. Hey, I'm back for a weekend or if I'm going to hey, I'm going to run through this and steamroll through it. Yeah, Barret, do you think you're going to see this one of the end or is it more of like a Just get your fill and kind of bounce off. I'll probably see through it till the end because I I'm interested to see how they adapt like the modern day stuff because that's been a big conversation. that like we we talked about during the preview period that you know, theyre they're not doing like straight up adapting the OG modern day stuff from the original game. But with how Assassin's Creed Games works back in the day, A lot of like plot story shit would feed into modern day stuff and there's kind of like a big moment at the end of Assassin's Creed black flag that ties that all together. So I'm fascinated to see on my own How do they try to pull that off if they if they even try to do that? I don't know. it'll be interesting. So yeah, I do want to see this all the way through and then also see like all of the, um extra stuff that they're including because I think There's like a full new chapter that they're including into like very late game stuff. So Mael, are you going to play one Yeah assassin's Creed Black flag was the peak of my assassin's Ced, right? We go into black flag. I start to slow down around unity and syndicate, right fall off by Odyssey Origins and Valhalla come back on for Mirage with, of course, Bartt. We had a great review on that one that I really enjoyed. And so I'm at this weird point of like none of these games from Sadows, the big three have brought me back to Assassin's Creed. I don't know if like an old three hundred sixty title will not or not. but I hold it so dearly to my heart that I want to jump in, experience it again, seeee how far I get, right? There's a lot of combat. there's a lot of I love bo slow down back Riding from island to island. So we'll see if I like slow down on that or if that will be like, Hey, we're back on the boat. The sea Santes are carrying along and I'm having fun or if it's like, hey, like man, I really don't like how slow this was in between times, but I like the on foot combat. That'll be the interesting thing for me with it where, you know for playing it back in the day, it was I was trying to do everything on every island, one hundred percent every island and then eventually zoomed out was like, I'm never going to now I'm wondering if I come back and if I play it more like a summer blockbuster, if I'm just going to follow the main missions, will I be committed to it or Ill just be like, cool I'm fine It's also yeah, like an old AC game. So if you'd really just like stick the main stuff like it's not one of the recent ones where it's like eighty hours or whatever like this for sure back into like more of that twenty thirty hour territory, I think july ninth also sees the one The Oies echoes. incrad come to PlayStation five PC Xbox sereries X, Ignacio Rojas, this is the moment. All right gamer This is little nails on the chalkboard in terms of the narrative and also for then you get out and I was running around doing stuff and it's like, You are it's a single player story but you are playing it as if you're at MMO. so you're doing MMO style quests of running around and killing a bunch of boars and stuff and I'm like L lot of great games right now. lot of great games I can be playing right now. So I don't know if I'll see that one when it actually drops through, but And there seems to be something there. went in the middle of a su blessing, I went and watched the story trailer to the like The story can't just be that I'm playing a video game, right? And I waled through the sound up and I was like, okay, you're getting somewhere that could be interesting, but I would have liked to have just gotten Yeah. I don't know if I'll actually get there when it comes to time, but Bus are you interested at? Not really. when they were gearing up to announce this one, I think it was being teased that Pay Dynamo was making a new like third person AAA anime game. Yeah. I was like going through my head of like, oh, what I wanted it to be. And then when they announced, I was like Sortar Online is a anime that I tried watching like ten years ago and I watched the firstp episode of media went, this is not for me. Like it Kitty feels too like uck. I think same things toonally that you're not liking or some of the things that I just didn't like how the characters spoke. But I've heard people Be excited for this one like I'm sure there's like a market for it slash some fver if're in the market for like an action RPG of this style, but No, it doesn't do it for me especially right now when I'm playing Xenob Blade Chronicles. It looks like they do have some pros in there as well It's shaping up. to be everything that I want. I'm excited to go hands on the sticks with it. This this one. I haven't played any of the demos. Every time I saw this team at GDC, I couldn't stop wanting to ask them questions and be involved. I think it's the greatest. Yeah It's so cool I'm excited. And so yeah, I'm really excited for this one. year three. what are the improvements? Of course, it is mascots They'll have the mascot games back, which is exciting. So like Yeah, I can't wait to finally play this and see all of the progression they've made. This is a team that is takaking a lot of feedback from year one into year two. They know what we all want, which is dynasty, road to Gory, right? They want to even deeper than it already is and add in everything that people want. So I'm pumped up for this. I can't wait We don't have to wait long, july ninth also sees forward to the sky on Playsttation five and Playsttation four. From there it's july tenth Did you mind? Digimon story, Time Stranger comes switch and switch to another Ignosio Ro another classic time to play it too. there's never been a better time. And then Pal worldorld Damn. one point zero piece Is this a snow bike mike day or what y Mike far build and work alongside mysterious creatures called Pals in this completely new multiplayer open world survival and crafting game. Of course it's out right now in early access for thirty dollars. You could get it for twenty one dollars with the steam sale as of right now. I don't I couldn't find off top of my head. I wasn't looking that hard. If the price goes up when it goes to one point zero one point o the one point zero is happening on that day. There's a lot of these survival crafter games trying to get at me, but secretly This one's my favorite. So it's like, I'm gonna push for this one Tim, any chance to get you to turn on. No, okay. You would like it. I mean, I don't know that I would, Mike. L that. It's just like everything about it, it's like, this is not my dream Pokemon game.ike at all July tenth final game is cololonies of the Remnant on PC. july thirteh july thirteenth sees ascend to Zero come to Xbox. Then we move to july fourteenth. Dyopia comes to switch to S switch PlayStation five and more Urban Stife comes to PC, then hell clock. It comes to Playsttation five in S series X. This is when I toss on there I might just be up my alley. Forge powerful builds with endless loot in this relentless combination of rogue like and ARPG. Blast through dungeons and unleash inhuman pow is in a dark fantasy twist on Brazil's War of Canduros This is a twenty twenty five game on PC that's getting its full conle release. Obviously these updates have come to PC throughout it. But I glanced at I was like, Damn this actually looks kind of cool. You know, Mike, you know how much I love my ARPGs. You know how much I love Diablo, but I'm always so I love Path of Exon Y, but I'm over the it's all gothic demons all the time.. So giving me a cool little art style here. Yeah just a shake up in that shift. that that's enough to make me go, okay, I'm going to pay attention to this. And then you drop in the rogue light thing I don't know if that'll work or not work for me, but it's an interesting idea and I like them tackling this war of Kanduros You know what I also love when you jump into new ARPGs Yeah because you get an appreciation for the genre. But most importantly, you see what other teams are doing and you're like you come back to the conversation with. Hey, here's some things I saw from Path of Exile that I really liked that I'd love to see on the big Diablo one. I love having those conversations with you. Yeah, just a cool little I I don't think it's I don't know how to describe. He looks like he's in a period piece which I appreciate. thinking on top of just in general killing a bunch of monsters. a nice little comic bookie cartoon art style I'm gonna check it That of course, july fourteenth. Also july fourteenth, Factory toown to Paradise on PC, Battle planan on PC, and then the incident at Galley House on PC In nineteen thirty six, something terrible happened at Galley House. Decades later, with a strange contraption that reveals echoes of the past, you must uncover the truth behind this grizzly mystery Yes, this is one that I added. It's from the same devs as the root trees are Dead. Oh which was a really cool detective mystery game that came. A lot of nominations. I bought it, never actually played it. Yeah. and like same here, right? It's thing that I have that I've wanted to play that I never got around to and very much fits within that blessing style of like mystery figure out who done it sort of game.
