That is Jeff Ellis, host of Lock on Guardians for eight years. I'm Justin Lada 've been here with Jeff for four years and we've been we've known each other for over ten years now and longer in Madden both been cover the team for nineteen years when it comes to draft and the miners Uh, Chase just needed a break, right? Jeff. Chase Lauder just needed a break. literally He needed to fracture his ribs and take a seat and comes back. I think he's got what eleven hits in his first five games back. He played right field for the first time on Wednesday made a catch running into the wall in foul territory, which An any catch that Chase the Laudghter makes anymore if he's not standing still I'm holding my breath. Yeah, I'm holding my breath every time the balls hit his way that isn't like pop up or directly at him, but Man, I don't know where they'd be. withithout chased a lot of the last couple of days. I mean really good game against the Mariners. He did his part Monday and Tuesday against the Rangers and then Wednesday three moreany. I think that takes him to eleven since he's come off the IL and More amazingly You know, we missed two weeks of action and id't even go on a rehab assignment And it's very, you know, that that rib is not a one hundred percent healed Now, hard it is to play any sport, but baseball where it's so rotational on a rip like that and as well as he's doing it, like Very impressive I mean, I thought he maybe needed to go to the miners to get a break. It turned out I just need to get hurt and that was the break he needed You know, it he's he had a fan it was a day for for guys We've been kind of rough on, you know, with Fy as well coming up with the big three run home run A lot of wild pitches on the other side for Texas and Cleveland's bull pen was shaky, but You got to enjoy a nice nine run affair with all the offensive struggles of late U It was nice to see them get that many runners across when it's all said and done, make it so you didn't care that you know, Mattfestter was in later, you weren't upset about the bullman giving back some runs Um, but yeah, I mean were you wereere you I mean, once they broke it open, I was nervous as heck when when things look like they're getting away from Gaddys. L great, they're going Loston hedges of all people. they' broken open Yeah I thought that was I thought for sure like I thought when they had the five running they were going to win, but Then again, they've had a lot of games this last couple of weeks where they score all the runs in one again and they'll score again. So yeah, adding on was good Yeah, they I give them credit. They they they manufactuure a run early, right? They did the safy squeeze with Hedges, who seems to be the only guy that can do something like that That worked out good and then they got a wild pitch that gave them a run. they seemed to rattle Mackenzie Gore Um Yeah, I thought they had a chance to win Monday night and then I didn't think they I thought that was the game. I kind of figured the the right they've been going. they've been winning one out of three except for the Mariner series So I figure that the game they would win would be Monday and then They've lose to Degrrom and Gor and they lost to Dgrrom, but they beat Gor and He hasn't that great. but yeah, they played small ball early and then home runs by David Fry, who, you know, we were saing yesterday doesn't have a place on this team. uh ends up fitt home off for Lfty, which probably buys him I mean, I don't think he was going anywhere anyway as much as we we think that there's no longer a fit The organization really likes him and Let's be honest, every time Garabalarius gets ahead, he buys himself another month of games and I think David Fy with that home run probably. I mean we make those jokes. Remember, it's like we made make that joke and then bone nailer the next day they traded for That's true That's sure. He had the home run in his home run. then the next day he was in Arizona That's true. That's true. So maybe there is always come the wind guys have to be added to the roster. That's that's what's going to be O if they could find Yeah, if they can find or I mean the the the Patrick Bailey thing was, you know I know you called your shot on that or was hoping, but Um very rare so maybe they'll make a move a deadline that place is damned fy, we'll see, but I highly doubt it Um, the other side of things in this game too is they don't win this game without Daniel Sheeman. I mean V you turn. I want to say three double plays, att least two And then was the third inning or the sixth thingning. I forget what it was, but I know he bailed The Bllpen out with a huge set of plays, but H two plays going to his right and I know they had runners on and They got one runner across because of the ground out. But if he doesn't get to that ball more runner score. who knows how that inning goes Del Stein and with his defense today, this team probably doesn't win the game. I mean, I know he scored nine, but I could think of a few more runs across the plate if Fhel Sheem' not playing second there. And as much as I You know peopleople were saying guys defend Travis Pazona because he's number one pick I'll straight up, Travis Mo doesn't make those plays. He did make a nice play defensively on Tuesday, but plays Daniel Sheman made in this game. Travis was on it as't make. Like those were Those were Andre Simenez plays. That was that was a very B and important. moment in the game and And I know he didn't have any hits today. He had two hits on Tuesday And then he was going to get pinched for for Rys Hoskins, whatever. but Danel Sheima, just give the man the utility gold glove right now Well, or is it going to go to KQan know by the end of the year because he's playing multipleildfield spots might be internal competition. you know, it wass interesting because all three games in the series Cleveland lost the even in this one, they lost the base rununner war because They, you know, only the other side had six walks and Cleveland only had two So even though they had more hits, they and they lost I believe it and ever cameame in the Seattle series. So there's Um,'s it's one of those changes that did up two walks They're still the reason they won was the extra base hits. that, you know, they had eleven hits, but five of them were for extra bases and that's a big separator and what they've been doing a lot of late is not having those extra bases. It's not having the three run home run, not having any home run or having a very limited one. I know they had the two runsot for Manzsarda the day before, but they had nothing else. and that's onene of the issues we've been seeing. So this was just nice to see, you know, half of their bit hits. essentially being extra base hits. So And that stood out. I also want to mention too on Tuesday. I forgot to get to this on Tuesday, a Wednesday show, but I was in the game on Tuesday night, they u We had Justin Masterson and Matt Laporta there as like alumni ambassadors and the VA announcer when they were going to throw the first pitch out had said Welcome back, Cleveland Legends, Justin Masterson and Matt Laporta and I I wasn't drinking anything at the time, but if I was, I would have spit it out because Nothing against Matt Laport. I don't know the guy personally, but Cleveland legend. Matt Laaporta, like even even that's a stretch That's a stretch even for Austin Masterson. That's a uh Bridge for from Matt L Forida. that was No, Cleveland legend. Everyone remembers him. Like isn't a you know, a legend, long remembered figure. He's a pretty long remembered fer finger. S R figure Yeah. here. It's not Ady Miller. He's not Adam Miller. I guess I mean, I think I think now more people know Matt Laaportter than Adam Miller. Ita be honest at least playater. a lot of people are just like Adam Miller I mean, never gots big leags Yeah, that was that was very random to see that. Oh man. All right, well We got some mly news, some interesting exciting news, and some not so good news to get to when it comes to the Guardian's farm system. We'll talk about that. We'll take a quick look at the White sock series ahead and Go deep on the draft today. we'll talk about pick number nineteen, but we're also going to Throw some other names out there down the board that you should be paying attention to. for Cleveland. So we'll cover all the rest of that here coming up Baseball season heating up. We're hitt in July, which means trade deadline, draft, all the fun stuff and baseball season you can trade every game on Gali. you can trade every single game. I'm not going to look at tomorrow's game for the White Guardians and White Sox actually Uh I'm going to look at I'm Calcii the division winner and the rookie of the Ye race in the American League. So Right now, the Guardians are training at a forty percent chance to win the American League Central, White sox. the probability has moved ahead there for them at a forty four percent chance. So that's what the market says about that predictions, the guuardians have fallen four percent below And then when it comes to Ale Rokie of the Year winner Parker Messic trading at a three percent Chance to win in the prediction market. So I think Parker Mestics got a shot, You can throw fifty bucks on that And you could pay out six seventy if that ends up coming out. on that side. You're trading against peers in a live market on Kalheed No house and the probability changes you can buy and out of your position for a little bit of time, download the Calchy app good locked on to get ten dollars when you trade ten K LSH Ji, Kelshy trrade on anything. eighteen plus only restriction eligible requiring supply event, contract trorting involves risks, may not be suitable for all investors, prices, values, and available markets may differ from those mentioned. Iaybe we should start with the bad news because it ties into yesterday's show Oh yeah, unfortunately, ye, we talked about We talked about Justin Campbell, who was a great comeback story this year had not pitched inince twenty twenty two. in college, the year he was drafted by Cleveland madeade the AAA. We talked about, you know, he's got to be on the forty n roster at the end of the year Maybe he's an option to help the Guardians bullpen or something by the end of the season. Well, He didn't even throw a pitch in his first triple eight start. He was warming up and somethinghing wasn't right. He called the trainer out and didn't make a start. So he was pointing it like his his someomewhere in his back area. So I was like, well Is it his back? Is it his lat muscle? Is it the terrorist major? like you know, a couple of years ago That was a injury guys kept getting hurt with. Like was it Clevinger and Clae? I think both had it in twenty twenty Yeah I can't put my mind at it Yeah, it was like a it was Cleinger for sure. I remember Cleinger for sure. Yeah, I think I think Clausee had it and then he was suspended for the steroid thing after that. so He was suspended for twenty. never pitched for the team in twenty. The whole season was Yeah Yeah. yeah. I think he was hurt in spring training before the suspension. I think he was suspended after they after they called sping turning off because of the pandemic. So should have seen the signs there, but I hope it's something serious for Justin Campbell that really stinks if he is coming down with another injury, like it's just this point like You know, you can't u, can't have anymore with him. So hopefully it's just a minor thing and He was being cautious because of his history and called the trainers out and they decided to be cautious. I hope that's the case, but As of right now, probably temper that expectation expectation of u there was any chance of Campbell helping out the big Lague team. this year Yeah, I mean I feel like I guy like Campbell's there's two thought processes, right? Either he's had so many injuries like a slight thing, he's just gonna have you know, an abundance of caution to get it checked or You know, that he's a guy who might try to play through a small thing. because he just wants to stay on the field. like Either one could be the case. so I'm not going to try to project. what this injury is, I'm not going to try to like put a backstory to it. Um, but yeah, it's It stinks and it stinks for him. I was I was on a walk when you text me that. I was talking to my dad on the phone. a nice like hour and a half walk today Um I was explaining the situation to him about how much it just it stinks for these kids. likeike it's the same reason L we' so I first, you know, to finally make it. It's like When you've had all this miss time, it just stinks that of any injury, even if it's a small one that helps derail derailment for him because they're going to have to add him to the roster, no matter what at the end of the season. So like he had a legit chance to miss three straight years and then make to the big leagues Yeah, that have been a crazy story. Hopefully, hopefully that's still the case. Hopefully this is just precautionary and he Thisiss is the startar. he misses another and then he kind of gets the pitch in ApleA or something H hope that's case for him. I was excited to see what he did at AAA and get some more really good data on him from that first start Um, on the good side of things Guardian said two representatives in the MLP features game, which is All Star weeekend during the draft and the celeby softball game, I think I have no idea. I don't pay attention to anything during that weekend. I'm a sh of the d draft. Yeah, that's true Ralphie Velazquez is making his second Um, Futures game. I looked up a while ago players have had to invitice the futures game. Um, there's some good names on there. There's some bad names on there. likeike I was wondering like rather than good Yeah, I was like, is that a good thing? Be you often have to stick around? Yeah Yeah. and Cooper Engles is the other one. Now Cooper Engle probably isn't going to be available to play in that one because I can't imagine it'll be back um in AAA at that point. So uh, I probably won't go to that one. but He was picked for, which is good for him U I'm excited to see Ralphie though. like he He did it in twenty twenty four when the game was at Texas And he put on one of the most impressive batting u practice performances that, uh anybody has seen there. I know every year Jeff Pontce a buddy and JJ Cooper from baseball, America do a home runun derby counter and banning practice to see it's the most. I think Ralphie at the most and they all said he Um had the most impressive round of BP. So that's exciting. At least he's going to that one U The other theory here, I guessll I'll throw cold water on everybody here too. We should talk about this as we talked about it off air yesterday. So I know a lot of people are like, Ohh they should you know, Ralphy should come up this year and he's doing really well and you and I had said a few weeks ago that when he was throwed to ApleA that Maybe there was a non zero chance we would see Ralphie in twenty twenty six Um, I think the only way that really happens is if there's like some some injuries or something because Um, I think if there even if there were injuries, like like say comments aretist to get injured tomorrow Theyd probably more likely go with, you know, as much as it's not, you know, as sexy they'd probably go with CJ Gavis, right? Like All they been more gress? Yeah, but the big reason not just tie to his performance, which Ralphie is getting better recently AA. He's struggled, but Things look a little better. He's having to settle in because he's new and he's young, but Um, you know, next year at the Lomving lockout Anybody who's on the forty man roster or any major leagers cannot go to spring training. So almost assuredly that spring training is going to be delayed next year. Who knows how many games because of the lockout and a labor dispute Anybody in the forty Men roster cannot go to spring training and play or practice or whatever. But that doesn't include minor leagers And Ralphie Alaska does not have to be on the forty man roster until twenty twenty seven, December of twenty twenty seven So he doesn't need to be on the forty I think it's very unlikely for Cleveland to add Ralphie this year and then have the threat of the lockout next year and him not be able to at a sppring training and miss that development time. I know people are going to say it sound silly that why would they care about spring training next year You know, he's he's a high school kid He's got Scott Boris as his agent. He's going to make major leagues at you age. He's going to hit free agency at a young age, depending on how the CE works out I don't Cleveland's going to take the chance of losing a gear with him and God only knows what happens with next year, right You know, are guy going to get service time for time missed because of the lockout? Like is that going to happen I don't Cleveland's going going to take a risk with that to be honest. So I don't think we'll see him this year. Yeah, like I said, I think if he was absolutely demolishing AAA, they'd at least consider it if they had a need. Yeah or if they want to. But he's been inconsistent.'s it's an adjustment. It's You know, you're fing a lot better control, you're facing guys can hit their spots more and it's a different baseball. It's a lot of things are very different at that level And he's just been kind of average. So for him to have even got there without yourour added point, I think would have taken him blowing the doors off and he hasn't. like let's be honest. he has not done that. So Yeah, I mean, you and I still think he's Fair they w to prospects can debate one or two in the system Um So it's not a knock on him, but it's just I know't everyone wants to see the new hotness all the time. That's just how it is. It is always about You know, the minute everyone I everyveryone gets to AAA, they immediately want them in the majors, but it takes some time to get there. and that's just, you know, that's part of the process. So We're still high on him even with yeah, him being kind of mediocre right now He'll recover, he'll figure it out, and he'll be great Yes, you want the new hotness instead, you get old and busted. Cment Yeah if you that's a very deep cut of of a reference there. Did you get that? don't. I feel like that's I feel like that's not. too me that's a really You've got I like that' beline from that movie Okay, I feel like that's a deep cut. but mayaybe I just reference that one all the time. so maybe it's just maybe you do It's it's one of my favorite actors. so we'll see if, uh If anybody gets that in the comments, let us know if you got that reference at about the nineteen minute mark there All right, we got some white sock series ahead. We won't dive too deep just because we did to see the White sox, but we'll talk about it few key things coming up in the series. and then after that, if you're a draftnick. This is your time. Like when I was at the game the last two nights, By the time I drive home from the game, my frustration and knee jerkiness has kind of worn off a little bit. So like I don't get to spill my first thoughts and u all of the vitriol when they don't play well or all the excite when they do play well But when I do the reaction videos of the game, I get to kind of spew all that for about, you know, ninety seconds. So If you want those more raw and real takes in the moment, hit the bell on YouTube. I'm pretty sure we'd all be If think I looking for salvation Yeah U food Yeah, food, honestly, shelter, honestly I'm boing them mo I'm probably just jumping in the lake Yeah. I'll be getting my half drick and water bottles off the side of the table. That's what I'll be doing. Uh another fun movie reference. I think we've referenced that one before though the is swing away, uh, Merl All right. So the Guardians avoided Davis Martin last time when they faced the White sax they lost to a three in Chicago. It was a bumpy series They won one game and Bullpen was very, very scary in the game they actually won, but They'll face Anthony K. Sean Burke and Eric Fetdy again, the same through they faceed last time, but this time it's Davis Martin That's the only change since then for the White sockx, right? I don't think anything else has changed since then. I think They made any rster changes since then. There's Antonacci still there Jacob Gonzallees Oh, noah Schultz is back but he fitched tonight so that's not Yeah I think they u No, everything seems Oh, you know, Kyle seals back off the. That's what it isyleals off the aisle But he played in the series against Cleveland. He was off the IL. Oh Dy o. Dy was off the IL for the last series Nothing has changed then. They are still the same scrappy annoying team that u is going to be tough, but u You seem to think this Davis Martin thing is real Yeah. I mean, I mean, a lot of the data underneath it seems pretty supportive of it. and wasn't he like Uh, if my memory ss, he's a pretty good closer who some people thought could become a reliever when he was in college or could be a starter and it's finally paying off So It could be wrong. I thought when he was a Texas tech, he was a closer to start. And it go twenty deeper four to makes I' not wrong in that Yeah, I don't have a lot of memories. Yeah, I could be wrong because the one I'm thinking of wasn't a wasn't a fourteenth round pick, but yeah, I mean a lot of the data underneath it is pretty solid you know, if you look at his fip and things like that, he's I think, you know,'s guy's developed his pitchmakes. he's a pretty big kid, I want to say. No, he's not six two. so apparently shows what I know, but Yeah, I think I'm just going to double check a Som page. but he's got a good fit Um For what it's worth, stuff plus models don't have anything of his of him above one hundred. It's like Stuff pllus doesn't think he's all that special. but he gets a lot of chase with that. He gets a lot of whiff. He doesn't walk guys and they're not barreling him. He can get hard hit, but he also has a one, two, three, four a six pitch mix. and Like I've been talking about this often in my write ups, like When I started doing draft stuff twenty years ago Three pitches and move on. That's fine. You need four to five or just, you know, pitches anymore. Like the game is changed in such a way. you need a deep bench. And he uses all those pitches. So I think that could be part of it. It could be the sum greater in the parts. Yeah. you know, he's got four pitches versse lefties. He's got three verse righties and that allows him to attack the with with a varied mix each time and his pitch run value is, you know, that's mostly noise when you're looking at Savvant and like fastball, breaking ball speed values, but Um You know, I would argue it's almost always noise Right now those things are saying, you know, that his change up is really tough and this team can't hit change upps to save their life. So I assume we'll just see his change up and he'll look like the potential all star that he is right now Probably is. The other thing I'll say about Davis Martin, like I think you're right. It's probably like the metrics do back it up. The one thing that' that's kind of wonky is that he prettyt high flyball rate at thirty three percent. Um Lague I don't know what his league average is, but Um, He has a six point nine Homer to fly ball So that's pretty low. L that's pretty unusually low U I think giving up a lot of flyballs and having a low flyball home run rate probably means there's some kind of luck going on there. But his is expected, even Fip if you normalize home run rate is still three hundred eighty four, which matches, you know, it's only or three hundred forty eight and ye race three. So it's not terribly out of line. so He iss getting a little bit lucky in the Home runun department, but not so lucky that u It's just going to come crashing back down. So that's going to be a tough match up for them.sbsolutely. That's going be a tough match up. you got Uh, what did I say? sllate acconing that one? Hopefully keeps things going and you get Um, back to Gavin, Masican and By, so I think you gott to come away with a split here. just ask for a split, right Yeah. I mean, I will take a split on a percent at this point. I'd be nice to win I nice to win three or four since you lost two or three, but yeah. I mean,s that I think right Some of our comments B Sklls said there're six and nine since Jose and Yeah Jry Ram. It's like, I mean, I'm still going to trying to take that. Like if they're eating th eleven. That's a pretty solid. you know, overall run for them with everything Yeah, and something we didn't talk about it' like, you know, Jose was in the box today. Like did that have a rising effect on the team? in the box as far as what? He's with the team. He was he was on the, you know, on the field. Oh, he's been there. He's been there the whole h stand. Has he? He just Yeah he just got his stitches out other day. so h when he's when when the hand starts feeling better, he'll take that in practice. So we don't know when that'll be, but um Yeah, he got the stitches out. so that's Maybe they're just showing him more today. Could have been.'s he's been there though. Yeahah. he's he's he was there the other day. So All right let let's get into the draft. We've been talking about this for a couple of days that we would do more draft talk because we're I got close, Jeff We got nothing Yeahet. We're only a week away, so not a big deal, Jeff Um ten days, like week and a half. C come on, give me. Okay, okay, fine. God So we talked the other day I think about the Sawyer S show Snyder thing, you know, being moded at nineteen Um There's a lot of ways this could go in nineteen, right? I think there It could go a number of ways. You talked the other day about Taylor Rbe or I don't think he gots a Jack Radell on the show. D we get to him that I he. So like So I like and I don't think I told you this. I try to remember that like how crazy is it? L Jack Radell's from South Dakota Him and Marcus Phillips, who win thirty third last year were high school teammates. Like how how c the Iowa kid No, no, that was Marcus Morgan. Marcus Phillips is the Tennessee reliever Do the Red Sox took Like how how many South Dakota teams have First rounders like ever in the history of that state Travis Haffner, right or it in North Dota? Hey might be North Dakota. Which one and then Brandon Nimmo is from one of them as well, but I don't know which one. I'm sorry. Haffner was was Northor Dakota. Anyway, go ahead. But yeah, like Jacerll is just kind of fun from the perspective of like Okay, so apparently went to a pretty good high school. They had two future first round pitchers, six foot five kid big big, you know, the cod and farm boy kind of build has that posteria that I love in my pitchures because it'es a solid base and tends to avoid injury And he's got like a five pitch makes Yeah, seven feet of extension, which is huge which makes the fact that like he's touching ninety eight look like you know, a hundred plus with the seven feet of extension He's been a starter all throughout his career in Notre Dame, no injuries, no anything. He's been incredibly healthy. So Cleveland and Jfted me mean immediately would need Tommy John. because that's how it works. U I mean, I just like him from that perspective too. It's like there's clearly more on the bone. Notre Dame hadn't had a first round pick since Eric Yagolo in twenty thirteen It's not a great developmental program. They had years of like I for a long time said you should draft Notreame players because you know they were underdeveloped That was the previous coaching regime. That's not the current one. The current one is still kind of struggled to build that program back up And You know, there just feels like there's a lot of meat on the bone for a big strong kid pitch makes big extension and good command numbers this year. So like I like him and my whole thought process is Jack Radells in the nineteenth best player in this class, but In a class like this, it's like maybe you do consider becausecause its it's so finicky in the middle Lake A you get past the top Five guys for me Uh then its just it falls off a cliff. And it's like then it's like six to forty is all about the same. So if you take someone who's a little less money, then maybe you can get someone else from that six to forty class, pay them down to fifty nine because you've saved money Um And who that is Yeah. I mean, I don't know there's a ton of interesting prep arms. Like there's a ton of them. There's like it's a really good class for interesting prep arms. It's like we Brian someone you and I have never even discussed and he's like a plus plus athlete who fits a lot of things like we like I'm not so big on Borthwick. you like G on I'm not as interested in Gemon because I you know, an older older player who's already had arm issues I got not so interested st though Yeah, I Id Yeah Bernie Manila I don't know where he hands up going, but I could see the Guardians maybe being interested in that denotiton just because They don't go foride anymore. They learned their lesson of Mikeah Miniard and have not gone for anyone over six eight since then. Oh my. It was six eight, but that's the last gu Ln't was now it's clummy six seven You six six even Um Sles enough They have not taken anyone, I believe over Have they st have they gotten away from the whole cold weather thing? L remember Lenny Torres and Mitch Brown, Th those were like I mean, that's Alex Clummy Yeah, hanches was that too. No, they're still like a cold weather guy. There's still some things I mean, because you're not going to get none of them are Luke von Meyer, but, you know, who is? L Fon Mill is that you're saying L No his name? I can't remember his name. Yeah. I mean, you're not gonna you're not to buy Archer Horn down to fifty nine. No. and he's probably gonna go somewhere in the top thirty, but there's so many say with Tr evil Like I don't think you can get Tr evvil down there now where he's got't put That's the thing. It' like if you want to buy a prep arm, you can probably buy a prep arm Let's also be honest, like there's going to be a hitter Maybe not a trait evil, maybe not and Archer Horn but's going to be a pre hitter who slides because there's one every year There's always someone you think is going to go higher. It could be a Rockco Manelesco. Oh Lord at U no, I think he's got too many landing spots, but like I'm thinking like a conor Comier type. I like cter Komier. ye I mean, I think he's a first baseman, third baseman, but like You know, there's there's just so many guys. likeike I said, you know, Blake Bryan is an excellent athlete and he could be in that range. There's the, you know, we know They've, you know, looking through California stuff. It's like Bowin's going to be expensive. couldould they G him late in round two and look at what he did with exeilo and his athleticis. I'm Seaan Duncin's hur But didn't you like Seaan Duncan? I kind of likeed Sean Duncan, but like Big Canadian Ny and he's going to go somewhere in round two Well they're already taken one hurt guys. They're going to take're we're going to have them Miles Bailey in the third round, right We'll see if he's even there in the third round, honestly Um, I mean, maybe it's, you know Ethan Washman has made himself some money at. I know you really like him. I mean ye, a lot of people are talking about him right now Who's the guy we werere talking about today? Was it Carlton Oh last name Carlton Brady Yeah. I mean, that's more of like a, you know, fourth or fifth roundnderrou, but that's the guy you pay some money to Um I got herear minds see a lot of Jack left whichich which scares the crap out of me because I don't love that profile, but They have taken those young guys from the TNXL Academy in Florida for I still really like Kane Ferrarro He's rising up boards. I'm pretty sure at this point. He's just it's I always I'm I am on him for people who don't know. it's like he hits the crit out of the ball, but for some reason they don't go out of the park and he has no position at all U very So he is he's a first bed DH Probably at DH is his best position. So I don't know what you do there But Colton Brady is the TNXL kid who Yeah, Do doesn't turn eighteen until October That's very much They're type of guy where they pay them like a million and a half to two million in the ninth or tenth round and just have to pass all the way down the board Which I'd rather they did that in the eleventh round because then instead of being like ten thousand dollars or whatever the tenth round signing bonus is, they could take off one hundred and fifty thousand from the signing books Yeah That's what I wish they would do. Yeah. I'm trying to think who else I came across the other day that I really liked. I mean I'm still I don't know where he's going to wind up going I still have a soft spot for Kiden Bogenpole Colin Richie's date is really I don't want anything to do with the Bogging Pool. If you can't hit in a lower conference, then you're Yeah. don't I don't know where I don't know where his home is. That's the hard part. like And he chased the he had he struggled with lseed stuff. likeike there is some things in his raen today that like All he could do is hit fastballs or maybe all he could do was not he could hit off speed and he can't hit a fastball. I can't rememberous one or the other U I'm try to think of else. it is I mean, there is other guy look to B RRready two is Graysason Willby. I like Grason Willby. that's a Another guy you're talking like fourth fifth round or whatever it is like at that point. So interesterested in him. there there is like there's some college arms down the board that I like like I know he's in the transfer portal because he had a T wean likeike Jake McCoy is really interesting, I think Um, arere you going to redraft Ryan Marone? I actually really like Jackson Willetz when he played in the colloege worldld series like Just guys that are further down the board, I think are interesting. So like it's like you said that the six to forty is about the same L when you get down to the depth, like you' got some interesting guys like Robby Ladyy. I don't know if you had a chance to look him up I did. He's sure who he's just kind of he's Yeah. like he's just kind of average at everything. The George George Washington kid No sounds a lot like Jake Lowowerry Jake Laowerry was viewed as a potential power hitter when he was when he came out is what I remember. Yeah He had hit some home runs Lavi is in George Washington Atlantic ten confonference and he's not hitting for power Was't Lry at a smaller school though? D you go to a small you go to was it JMU Yeah, he was, but I mean, I think he had, you know, he was viewed as a power guy. looked U Robby Labby is just kind of like, you're hoping these fifties and everything And he was pretty bad last year in the Cape Cod. Oh, there is that. Yeah I know, they did an interesting draft. We'll we'll continue to compile names that we like, mayaybe we'll St start getting into the nitty gritty where we break things down
