A lyrical genius once said you only get one shot, one opportunity to seize everything you ever wanted. The Guardians they did that. They seized their opportunities in this one at least on the offensive side of things. They're one opportunity . And they someone else got the opportunity to get a great debut, but it wasn't enough the guardians lost. We'll talk about what they could have done better on today's locked on Guardians. You are locked On Guardians , your daily podcast on the Cleveland Guardians, part of the Locked On Podcast Network, your team every day . Anytime you hit a grand slam and you don't win, I don't know. Sometimes I mean, it wouldn't go good for the Guardians, but I feel like it should be like negative points. You know, the NHL they give you a point for an overtime loss. I feel like if you hit a grand slam in baseball and you lose, you probably should have a negative . four Only runs. I feel like it probably happens the morning you think it probably does. If you have if someone knows any stats on that, feel free to reach out. But the Guardians did a grand slam, but Gavin Williams , he was not good. But it's going to be good this month. He has not been good for the last three starts for sure . We'll get into that on today's show. We've got trade rumor reactions to who may or may not be a fit for the Guardians later in today's show. Talk about why there is crying in baseball after all, we'll talk about if the lineup order actually matters at the moment for the Guardians. We'll talk about first how bad Gavin Williams does let them down and whether or not the Guardians should play their reinforcements right away. We'll get into Clear Watson who's up on the roster now. We'll make his debut on Thursday in the day game supposedly playing right field . Unfortunately, this one, Jeff , it comes down like I hate to pin the loss on one player , but Kavin Williams just got hit around the gives seven runs. I think it's fair when a guy gives up seven runs . It's just odd like the two home runs that he gave up. The first one to yell at the second one at Cheerio. Those were like okay pitches, believe it or not. Like if you go and look at the the pitch chart on baseball savant like especially the one at Curio was not that bad although I don't know I don't know what Churio's hot zones are but, a backdoor curve ball, Christian Yella's just hit it over the fence. Like it was a good swing and I'll give Cheerio credit too. Like there are times you can tip your cap to the other team. I know Jeff hates the Chris Falaca saying the other guys get paid good money too, but those two pitches are whatever. I think the big issue here is the other five hits he allowed the two walks and the fact that he only threw a first pitch strike to seven of twenty four hitters . Maybe it was the eight days between starts . I don't know , but his but this is a continuing trend. Like you said, he hasn't been good in his three starts in June . You can't have a guy who's supposed to be your ace give up seven runs right now and this team scores four runs, they have to win. Like you have they could barely muster one win or one run on Tuesday. When you score four runs right now, I don't care if it's off one swing of the bat or not. You got to make that stand up and it never had a chance to because they were down five, nothing before they could even get there. You can't be down. This team can't afford to be down five, nothing period. Sure they can't afford to be down five, nothing in two innings . Yeah. And Kristin Ellich has one of the worst Sevant pag youes'll see. Like he is I know his his overall performance does not reflect on that . But it's really bad. Like that's not a guy you can you can let beat you and that's like not a guy who has any power at all. Like his bat speed is poor his, h heitart is po or. So for ye even though it was a good position, it was a he hung him a curve and you hang a curve and that's about the only way Yelich is going to hit a home run anymore. So it felt like a hung curve that he just pounded out of his own and Curio is hot as all can be . But Gavin is just he has struggled this year in this month. And I talked about it a year ago, right? Like everyone wanted to proclaim that, you know, Gavin Williams was going to be like a top five sent young guy and I'm like fit is not good and the reason like his fit isn't good is because he had an unsustainable rate of leaving guys on base and he , you know, this year , that's not happening. This year guys can string hits together off of him because, you know, it's a little bit luck in terms of that. It's not so much. You can be you can't be, you know, ninety seven percentile in strand. Like that's just it's going to come back and right nows going it' back. But for me, the bigger thing is like Gavin just wasn't sharp. Like he was not missing bats. When he was really good in the first half of the year when people were like, oh, he's, you know, a Saiyun candidate . He is, you know, going to make the All Star team, which I don't think he's really in that discussion for me anymore at this point. His he has ERA and the last three starts is gone at seven six and you look at Williams the Savon page. It's not updated for today, but like guys are seeing this stop like he talk to Dan pretty quickly. Like his barrel rate is one of the worst in baseball monks pitchers. His exit below, his hard hit percentage. Guys are hitting the crap out of everything that he throws right now and that's an issue. His mix is not working super well and he's not being sharp with his points. He's leaving me balls out there and guys are just hammering it. He still has some chase. He stows some whiff, he still kay. But if you look at his pitching run values, those are all low. Now that's a little bit noise. There isn't , but what stands out is these aren't predicted values. It just speaks to how they're working this year. And none of his pitches are plus offerings right now this year. Like guys are hitting all of them pretty much across the board . So he's been and you know, are we being a little over the top? I'm sure people say, I don't know, like he's gotten the array of nearly four. We spent the last, you know, month castigating Joey Cant illo and Tanner Bybe when they had , you know, not great days like this is a bit of a struggle here for Gavin and he's just not as sharp and he's not if he's not generating swing and miss if he is not getting guys to chase it,'s not going to work for him. It's it's going to be a bad game and that's what this was. He was not generating that because that's the good things on his Savant page is getting a high amount of swinging miss. He had eleven, which is fine, but like he just wasn't putting them away. He was getting a swing and miss he wasn't doing it early because he didn't have first pitch strikes. So he was getting in the middle but not the end. I don't know. It was just it was not a sharp day for Gavin Williams and you know, the brewers are a good team to a great team and one of the better teams of ASO, but they're also, you know, Cooper Pratt finally got his first hit. It's been a struggle. They have Self Rayleigh has not been great this year. They have some weakness too in their lineup. They are not a perfect lineup by any means. And you know, Gavin made them look like a top five offense. And you know, it's really interesting looking at Sean Doolittle or someone like that had an article today about like how do the Guardians keep winning and comparing them to the brewers? The brewers are third in Bab, the Guardians twenty seventh. So there's some overly good luck, overly bad luck and it is the humor of this is now the third year in a row with Milwaukee in Cleveland. Whoever is playing at home, the other team is in a funk when they play each other and there is no offense. Last year Milwaukee couldn't hit in Cleveland. Year before that Cleveland couldn't hit in Milwaukee. It is kind of humorous to watch if you can step back from the fandom for a moment . Yeah, so I mean maybe for Williams maybe the eight days contributed to that because he was supposed to pitch Sunday and then they had the day off. He didn't pitch Monday and then they decided to flip the rotation. So he pitches Wednesday and then ends up pitching the first game against the White Sox. So I will say if he pitches well against the White Sox, I'll forgive this because that's going to be an important start the way things are going right now for this division. So he'll take that. We'll see if he can rebound. I wonder if the approach just did not work either by the way because most of this year Gavin has been very sweep for seam heavy, right? And he doesn't really throw his sinker a ton unless it's the righties. And in this game, the sinker was his most used pitch. And I wonder if that was he getting behind? So he had to go to the sinker to get back into counts. Was that by design because the brewers are a very aggressive team. They like to swing first pitch. They tried to do that against Slade Zuconi and it worked out very well for Sakoni on Tuesday . So maybe they were trying to run with that same strategy against the Brewers in the Wednesday and it backfired on them or he was just behind. It's probably a combination of all those things. So poor execution, a game plan that didn't work, and just getting behind. I think it's all those things. But yeah, I if Gavin goes out next Monday against the White Sox, shuts them down and gets a win to start that series, I'll forgive the last couple starts because right now that 's important. That's the most important thing for right now. So you have to regroup and get that done. But yeah, it's it's April and May were fantastic. His April was really good. April might have been the best month of his career. It was he's gotten a little bit worse every month. He's had and May was great. And we walked five guys in May and he's got he had four he has four walks so far is that four? Only it has to be more than four. He's got he's got six walks this month. He only had five all the month of May . So he' hes' gots got to turn that around. Like Gavin Williams , you walk guys, you are subject to multi homera, you know, I think Curios was a two or home or yellowish was a leader . Yeah, it's just unfortunate because you know say what you want, but the Guardians loaded the bases in the fifth was it the fifth inning ? Yeah, the fourth inning. They got a grand sling with the batt Dleaniel Scheemann. They only got the last two days have only gotten their offense in one swing one inning , but at this point you have to be able to make four runs Santa Most times the guardians can do that and with the current lineup , you 're pitchers are going to have to make four runs stand up. There's really they were already losing even after that. So it didn't matter, but the offense was just never going to dig out of that hole, not this lineup. It's interesting his spin was down on like every pitch but his sinker today, not hugely on the curveball, but like, you know, just a little things, you know, like that. Like maybe I'm hoping you're right. I'm hoping it was too much rest. His blasty was down a little on a few a little bit down and then or constant. I guess the only one curveball the blast blasti was down just a mile. It was inconsequential yeah. So yeah, we'll see what they say about that in the coming days. We'll talk about the lineup . We'll talk about reinforcements. Cleo Watson is up, but he didn't play . So we're going to have to discuss that on the rest of today's locked on guardians For better and for worse, we are right in the thick of things for baseball season . And now you can trade every baseball game on Kauci. That's right. On Calci, you are able to trade every single game every, single thing. If we're looking at the Cleveland Guardians on Thursday to wrap up the series with the brewers and avoid the sweep, Cleveland is trading at a forty four percent probability to win while the brewers are trading in fifty a six percent probability to win. So if you go and throw a hundred on Cleveland over there, you can walk away with two hundred eighteen on your trading over there. And you're trading against piers on Calcia in a live market. There's no house and as the probability changes, you can buy in and out of your position. So if the Guardian's odds go up there, you can go ahead and buy out of that one as well. It was too late, too little too late, even though it was a big hit, got him back into it. And then Gavin Williams went back out the next inning and allowed or the next half the inning and allowed to homer Jackson Curio. And they've had a lot of follow up runs. Yeah, a lot of response runs has been in no shutdown innings that any of that one . That's what happened after Gabby tied it yesterday, got his first pitch run . Yeah. They had what let's see. Now we had three hits and and six or five three walks. They have six opportunities in this game. So that's not going to they're lucky they got four probably as much as that sounds awful . They got a grand slam. Like given where the offense is right now, I'm not gonna sit there and say anything. Like four runs needs to win. So four runs fine. Like it was not a great offensive day, but they got the runs on the board. We got your , I mean, you only had three guys with hits Basana Menzardo and Steve and then I mean, Bill Dion was a sacrificial lamb. Espino was great. Armstrong was great. I just Gevin Williams poops the bed. There's no other way around. That's what it is. He made it an impossibility . Yeah, let's get into Calia Watson. So the guardians called him up on Wednesday and he was not in the lineup. And then as far as Chase Laud theer is concern ed, the Guardians are hopeful that it will be the minimum ten based stint, but it doesn't make any sense to me. I don't understand this hopefulness. Rib injuries are tough. They often take longer to heal because you can't rest your body when it's a rib injury. Interesting. Sorry , Vote was saying that he was might lose power. I'm going to just give that warning right now. My lights are click . So I've got to say I apologize now. Nothing happens. Jeff's going Jeff's going dark on us. He's already negative, but the vote vote said well, he was trending in the right direction and didn't want to have to think about waking up every day and seeing if he was available or not. They're hoping to just knock it out. We'll see what happens. It was silly, but they even said that there's a chance he could try to play through it and just be a DH. It was just stupid anyway. So Watson it hurts it hurts really bad not to have Delauder Martinez and Jose at one time. But if you can get Delauder back, let's say, even if it's fifteen days , I'll take that over I'll take the short term pain for long term gain on that one and I have I have I know this is going to be unpopular. This is going to be a I don't know if the right word to say it is like I hate to say this is not make a wish okay Klea Watson was in Milwaukee on Wednesday and he didn't play. Maybe he got there late. I don't know , but this is a team that's struggling to score runs, needs offense. Cleo Watson needs to be in that lineup. I know someone was I know you're going to say like maybe his family wasn't there and I totally get that family absolutely one hundred percent matters. They can also watch him play because it's never going to be his first game again . I know, I know, but again, this is not make a wish. You're trying to like. It's not. But this organization has to operate with lesser funds and abilities. And one of the ways that they have been able to exist in this sport by being good to their players and being a player for this organization. And we don't even know that about . It could literally be he did not catch you know his fight didn't get there on the game. It's very impossible. It's like I'm not worried about that as much. Like this was a game yeah, it would have been nice to him out there, but I'm also not sure he's not going to get eaten alive by big league pitching. Like oh guarantees yeah for sure. You know, I'm still I don't think he is a, you know, a cure all here. So I'm, you know, I also have that side of it where I'm like yeah, you know, it's also making a staple against a letyf. Like it's so silly like he'll play Thursday, but he's facing a lefty where he mean he's got to play every day and we talk about his he does some he's better than Engle against Lefty's like when we dove into it he's got a chance walks against the ball hard he just strikes out a lot more against so I'm you know, but yeah, I think calling him up , you know, of course A was the right call but B, it's like I don't have an issue with because I don't know. I don't know what the side story is. I don't know if it was late. I don't know if you know he didn't for sure you know if, he wasn't feel ing a little wasn't feeling one hundred percent, you know, because I don't know what the story is, but either way, like he's up fine. I don't know. To me it's that didn't bother me as much and, you know, I know context, you're a hundred percent right. And I know normally I would be with that, but I guess I'm just frustrated with the lack of offense. Sorry. But we actually had offense today. Like, you know , at one swing, at once swing . I mean Bazana had a didn't he have a double and a walk you reached base twice , you know, yeah nobody had more than one hit no I mean he's the only one who reached base twice in the game so like looking at the team , I just like Wattson for everything we talked about yesterday going to show if you didn't like I think you know they made the right call. I think he has a chance to be an improvement. Also I think he has a chance to be as bad as anyone else on this team because of some of the contact issues . Like, you know, it could go somewhere in between. It could catch landing in a bottle. I don't know. We'll have to see. Like there's a reason why Watson wasn't a top ten prospect for either of us. Like yeah he's a he's a we if we got to tr weadear tiers, which you never got to because of everything else happening. It's like he's a Tier Cuy. And like it stinks right now, you know, with this, but like we also got to be honest. Like the thirty days before Chase L Deauder was hurt, he was rocking a forty six WRC plus. Like he had played better of late, but he'd also struggled. Like replacing a fifty WRC plus over a month should be relatively easy. Like he had he was playing better helping it's not going to I know but you know and then Jose was closer to like I think a one hundred twenty over last three days like that's irreplaceable you're not going to even get near it . But you know the other side of Anheld it also cooled off massively. Like over the , you know, he was a sub one hundred . So giving these young guys this opportunity and seeing what they can do. I still think this isn't enough. Like I understand the base logic here, right? Like okay, Gabby is still not all the way back. So he can't play every day at third base. He had to rest today. So Schneiman's also got to be a dedicated third basement. So you need someone who can be a dedicated center fielder. I think Kwan is going to be a full time left fielder right now , but I mean gosh, I still don't like Helpin and Fairchild are kind of the same player and neither of that is good. And like, I mean, how pin chases a lot. At least Fairchild doesn't chase. He. He does'll walk a bit. It's like helping on this rock like he seems like a great kid. He's earning this opportunity. I just hornable plates by the way not that . I don't know if it matter but he's I mean, I'd affected that five I feel, like that five run inning. Like ball he tried to throw a run around at home when he was Cooper Pratt running. He had no chance to get him out to throw just the decision to throw home was bad enough and then the fact that the air mailed it was even worse and he's supposed to be here for a speed defense while he pooped the bet on that one. I mean, it's it's rough right out with him. Like he and the other point is like I mean Kwan just continues to be right now helping and Quan are kind of the same player Kwanc willc oasionally walk and did walk tonight, so I guess not, but it's like Kwan's at a two hundred nine bag average five hundred and seventy four OPS like you're bombing your lineup is just it's just it's a dead zone. Like it is the dead zone. Christopher Walken is going to come walking in and predict that was it Martin Sheen is going to be a terrible president and end the world so that movie went right. But yeah, it's it's a bad part of the lineup you know,, David Fry had a rough game, but you know, he's facing a righty and he is a strict platoon bat. And that's also why, again, I know I'm getting off top and we got to go to break, but that's why England needs to be up. That's why we need to do something . And for everyone asking about R Ralalphphieie, is struggling AAA. Ralphie is not the option right now. Like Ralphie needs his route. He needs he needs to get to it. But at this point time angel's cooled a little, but yeah, you still need to get him because having Fry Play every day is not the answer as much as vote trust him. Having help and play regularly, that's not going to lead to good things. I am not as concerned. I think this team can keep themselves afloat right now, but they need to they need another reinforcement. And I know everyone's talking trades. Like we just heard the giants are starting to get into position to make trades. Like trades are not to be had right now, so it has to be internal. They want to trade people that nobody wants. Nobody wants those . They're not even opening the haven't even opened it. They're positioning themselves to make trades. We're in the position ing phase. There's like two teams that are willing to talk trades right now. It's got to be internal. And that's why I'm hoping they this is not the roster they're going to set themselves up with because again, Chasea Deluder has a rough injury history. He jumped into a wall and broke a rib when he probably shouldn't have even jumped on that play . Like he needs rest, trying to rush him back is also not the answer . So like just go make the call . It's okay if you have to, you know, cuts. And especially like yeah, I'll be quiet. We need to go to break and I'm may not go too long, but yeah, it's they need to make one more move . Sure, yeah, short term paying for long term game is where we're at. All right, we'll touch on more of that, the lineup order briefly, Daniel Spino's debut . And we're going to react to at least briefly just some of these trade ideas . There's that catchy song. I always feel like somebody's watching me. I can't see it because it copy right, but maybe you've noticed that before about your phone, the internet ads follow you from places and things you've searched for. All right, let's get into another fun piece of so we talked about Watson's call up. Daniel Spino finally made his debut. I think we need to shine the light there. We could have easily started with that, but I don't know, it's I was sad. You know, I missed it and I'll just show I'm going to show my wood so everyone can see why I missed it. So this is why I missed his debut . That is I was at Jeff you have to be on the visual side to get the joke. That's what I've been working on for the last three weeks. That's why I did not go to the game tonight and did not see it. It was my last class, but looking at it and going back that was probably the outside of the Grand Slam, Espino was the most fun part about this game . It was if your power goes out, Jeff, you can just go borrow some electricity from Daniel Aspino because it was pretty good. It was pretty good. It was the brewer it was electric. The brewers took five swings. I'm sorry , took five swings off of the Spino's twelve pitches. They whiffed four times. He averaged ninety eight with his fastball or ninety nine, I should say. eighteen inches of induced vertical break. I mean, that's just disgusting stuff stuff and you had the two strikeouts, a week pop up . You saw a great hug in the dugout from Tanner Bivy. Daniel was crying, his parents were crying and one of those moments where there is crying in baseball. I mean, it doesn't matter what he threw up there, honestly, just the fact that he made it to the majors at this point , given what he's been through coming in this year after the miss time and us just not knowing his or I should say coming into last year. Like there was a feeling like he might be done. This is going to be an Adam Miller situation, you know, like all over again . But like instead he, you know, we saw him last year and we started to get excited. And then this year we've seen a lot more of him and boy , it was like how could you not enjoy that moment for him? Yeah well as just his performance but like for him to finally make it up there yeah the fact that his stuff is so good after all that time missed the two surgeries it's just it's unbelievable how someone and that just shows you like Espino is incredibly hard worker and And just dedicated, incredibly flexible, as we all know. And he's going to bring that up fans superpower is flexibility. I'm not really I'm not really like a man of faith religious, but like I'd be lying if I thought there wasn't some sort of like miracle here that he survived those two injuries and still has that kind of electric stuff even if it's in one or two innings. Like it's unbelie vable. Quick reaction to Jeff to this, I saw some people complaining about Nancy hitting second, Rochio hitting third and how this lineup looked. And I said, you know what? The lineup doesn't really matter right now. Like there's really not a good order for it . It's just gonna be vote mixing and matching and trying to figure out what works out best until they find a decent solution. Like I can't blame vote at all. Like you're not going to hit Petey Halpin or Steven Kuan or Patrick Bailey at the top of the order but he's going to try to keep finding something until something clicks in the short term and I mean Bazana he was fine today. He wasn't the issue. He had a you know a hit and a walk hit Yeah and Manzardo we talked about it's been their best hitter over the last month. He's been their best hitter since he has a higher WRC plus than Jose from like this was it like the first week of April on and you know Rocchio has played well like those are three h theitters you trust. Hoskins, you know it's going to come or go and like I mean Basan Manzarda Roccio and Hoskins right now those have to be your top four. Like who else would you even consider? Like who know, like those are the top four hitters on this team. I think very clear ly right now . Yeah, there's really no good order so I will say side note, I'm going to take a little dog leg upside. Hey, we didn't mention this, but the White Hocks got their gave up another double digit loss . ten to five. So after giving up twelve rounds yesterday they gave up ten today . So their bullpen K got beat up and then their bullpen got beat up last two day. So it's amazing what happens when you have to face the tougher part of the schedule. Like Cleveland went through the same issues, right? You know , the Guardians went three and or they went two in four two and four against the Yankees. I don't know what if this is the first or second time the White Sox have played them but I think it's their first I could be wrong. Okay, so they're owing two. So and you know Cleveland went to New York won the first two and that was kind of the last time things were really good for this team . Oh yeah yay alright let's wrap up the show today. So I don't know anybody else saw this, but Jeff Basson and Kylie McDaniel VSPN went together and they ranked the top one hundred trade candidates for this year and the guardian showed up on a few of these lists not for guys to trade away but guys it didn't make any sense. None of them made sense. Let's start with the first one. So the first one that shows up on this list is a role of Chapman at eight. Now , in theory , if you took out the name , it might be a fit. But because he's a left handed reliever, who's got really good stuff, but there's two things here. One, he's got a domestic violence history, which the Guardians did want to touch in twenty sixteen. They do not want to do it again now. Two, he has a vesting option for next year that's very expensive and he's about nineteen innings away from getting into trigger. I shouldn't use the word trigger with yeah portrait of that was a portrait of Wards. I'm sorry . But that option will vest . It won't be will vest but his arms going to be the tigers closer . Yes. So there you go. Yeah. So the option will kick in for him in about eighteen or nineteen innings, which is going to be very expensive for next year. So the fact that Guardians were mentioned there is hilarious. Like there's two areas where about the fact that Ian Hapt didn't make the top one hundred and you and I have been discussing him off air for two weeks. So they didn't even put Ian Happy the entire top. Free agent to be on the cubs. They have a dozen cubs on this list. No Ian Hap who's a that's very strange. Isn't it? Justin Brewer made this list and Ian Happ didn't make it, you know? Yeah, we're going to have a whole show. I think we're going to have at least a segment on a show next week that talks about why Guardians fans should root against the Cubs. Yeah, we want the Cubs to die like dogs. And it's nothing to do with the World Series or anything else. It's just they match up very nicely with Cleveland with trade candidates. Wilson Contrearis was nine. The Guardians are mentioned there. Wilson Contreras also has a bit of a attitude issue. Like he's been very finicky and I don't know. He's also got a twenty million dollars club option for next year, which they easily decline. If you're if you're if you're not interested in does he have a degree of a no trade as well. Like I think he's got some teams. He can I thought that was part of the thing with the Cardinals is he had given them a list of teams he would not go to. I wonder does that stick with you when you get straight? I have no idea how truthfully. But if you I mean you could try it if you're not interested in Reskins sticking around like if you think you can upgrade and Contrars is an upgrade over Hoskins Man sure. But there is a bit of a attitude issue there that I would be worried about . The next one was Sandy Alcontra. There's in no world are the Guardians training for Sandy Alcatra. They only said it. He gets to do it. He's he's got a club option. Like they're looking at like, oh well, they could keep him. It's like no and they don't need a starter. Let's be honest and they put Freddie Carlson Cleveland number one as well. I'm like, why do they keep cleveland on starters there 's a lot there in Cleveland Cleveland Cleveland has a need for bats and they have a need for reliever. So they cannot be affording to use their prospect trade capital on a starting pitcher . Like unless even if somebody got hurt, you'd still go to Logan Allen, you'd still go to Austin Peterson. And then they don't want to unless Sayzuki, who's probably the guy on this list who most Cleveland's need the number a right handed outfielder who is a rental for that rest of the year who has good numbers, good, you know, everything. Like the guy who fits all of Cleveland's needs more than anything else. And I've been talking about if you were a long time listener to this show, back before Justin was on , I talked about how I wished they would try for say Suzuki. They're like his numbers in Japan. I thought this was not like a Yoshida episode where I talked about why that was a terrible contract with Boston. Like I got more coming wrong. Like that's the one I missed but until him I had been batting just about a hundred on which Japanese and batting batting a thousand I guess you know, I had I was trying to think like because I got Park right I got Jo e H Kungang right, know? I You got, all of these guys. I was really good at predicting Joe Hope Kang was good for a little bit. His issue was the good stuff off the field. Yeah get off the field too. And then like, I mean, even this, I mean, I was right about Osama with Toronto. Like for whatever reason I've been really good at this market. Better than anything else. I should I should punch I should punt the draft stuff and just focus on on Asian baseball players . But like Suzuki, I wanted so badly that year. There's probably like four or five episodes you're like, well, maybe this is the year and if they don't sign Asian Talk, they haven't even signed an amateur in like a decade. It's been a while . Chang or the catcher, I can't remember who came who came Kung Kwan Giligi . And then also there was like a pitcher shouting shang yeah. So Taylor Ward is Taylor Ward is mentioned here which makes sense. That makes sense. They're saying it's seven or five percent chance and they tried to get him in the offseason. That makes sense. They have Louis Seraiz out here. Where's Louis Series going to play on this team? Again, you'd have to cut Hoskins. You'd have to cut Hoskins, yeah. It doesn't make sense. Glibber Torres who just went on the ILT today by the way, where is he gonna play ? Is going to play over Travis Pizana? I don't understand that one. That was in Cleveland's list of Joe Dell. People keep bringing up Joe Dell. Joe Dell's having a bad year. Last year was a mirage. Every other year has been a below league average year outside of last year. Last year was very clearly a mirage year. He doesn't fit what they want right now. He chases out of out of the zone. They want hitters who are having good at bats . Joadell Chases like crazy. It doesn't work. Yeah. Christian walker Christian Walker's here. Like I could see that. We talked about that a lot this off season . But again, it's like you'd almost have to trade Reshoskins back the other way is how that would work in any of those trades. Like he would be going out. I'm not opposed. Like that is an upgrade. But yeah, it's just weird to me that you have this whole big list and no Ian Happenal. Like on here and no you know Jern Duran. Jaren Duran's on this list and Cleveland was on there for him as well. That's the guy I think we were interested in before but he's had a very bad year. Like I don't think is he starting to turn it around a bit well, he turned it around in that weekend series at Cleveland like that. It was not sustained . He's got a seventy nine WRC plus the OBP is pretty low. He's hitting up ninety six in June. So yeah, he had a good weekend against Cleveland and then he's been terrible ever since . He's got a thirty nine ORC plus with a thirty seven percent strikeout rate and no walks in the month of June. So yeah, I'm out on Jerry Goran. Like you could probably get him pretty cheap or I wouldn't trade for him for anything other cheap. I'm not saying I would say no to him 'cause he's got control through next season . Actually, I think he has two years. He's got two years. Seven or eight years. So I wouldn't say no to Jeremy Duran, but I wouldn't give up a lot for him because he stinks right now. Like you got to be buying low. You can't be buying it Jaren Duran of twenty twenty four . He's never getting back to that NP level. Like he's gotten worse the last two years. That was and if you look at a Savan page, I mean, it's ugly. I mean, he's a good defender and he runs well, but he's barreling and he has bad speed he has bad speed and no hard hit and then he's not, I mean, his eye in his zone is non existent. So it's it's pretty rough . Yeah, I don't know if that's fixable, especially not by this franchise. Maybe if he goes to the White Sox, they probably could fix them given the way things are going there, but who knows. All right,
