Hopefully for the last time At least in this way, as we still have in the city They're filming something else The rumor mill is still strong But I'm happy to say we get to cover some Atlanta add some Rhode Island in addition to that today I'm very happy to talk about somethingomething else Can I be honest though, like it was hard, even though I've been watching I haven't been watching with the intensity that I have summer house. because of how we've been covering it And so To watch it knowing we were recapping, I felt so disjointed and disconnected And I feel sorry for everybody else who's on Bravo at the moment because if that is how we're feeling as viewers, they're not getting I mean, assuming this is for the Bravo viewers who also watch Summer House I just felt like Wow, I feel like I've been on vacation from These late I feel like I don't know them anymore I I can understand where you're coming from, but Rhode Island has still really had me locked in because h Alicia has really just given me what I want from a housewife Alicia, not Liz Alisa H She's everything that I want in a housewife. Okay We'll get into Rhe Island in a second I was gonna say it's Liz for me Because the one thing I think I was shocked with that I thought Alicia had that Liz definitely does is like the confrontational pushback. I was shocked at when Liz and Alicia were having their fight a couple of episodes ago Lisha just kind of B been over and just cry and I was not expecting that. She's quite sensitive or maybe that's just the Liz effect I kind of liken a housewife as well, which is why Liz would be my choice. I think they have four four very, very good housewes on this show which is really hard to do I think that Liz is an excellent housewife. I think Jo Ellen is an excellent housewife. I think Alicia is an excellent housewife. And someone who I didn't Like come around on. is Rosie. I think Rosie is an excellent housewife because You have to be able to have conflict. You have to have your own thing. like that each all those four women have their own personality, they have their own thing going on in their own lives And you have to be able to coexist with people you don't like. and they're all willing to just be nice and or get over something really quickly, like I've never seen anyone get over something faster than Alicia did when she told, I think it was Rosie, when she was like, Welcome to Rhode Island, bitch And then literally thirty seconds later, she was like, I love you. I love you They said that that's her personality. She she pulls very easily. Who was your fourth one, Jo Ellen Yeah, and Jo Ellen, she's similar. She's going to dig up some dirt, She's going to say some things and then be like, why is she mad at me And then even a hilter brunch Yeah, you can't hold a grudge A grudge doesn't work outta be able shows completely agree. And I don't dislike I don't dislike Ashley. I don't dislike Kelsey. I just think that those four have O I don't dislike Rula either, but Rula has too much going on in her life that she's trying to cover up for to be like an authentic housewife. I think that she has the potential to be a good housewife But those four are really good and the only other time we've seen it is in Salt Lake where the first season you have four women that you like and you care about and you think are funny and you think are crazy or whatever and still lovable Yeah. no, I agree with you. They definitely have some strong personalities, some interesting storylines. And even the way I thought, we're just going to do Rhode Island now. even the way I thought Rhode Island would end and maybe where who would kind of be the breakout? like because we came in hot with Kelsey and her, you know part time lover I just thought she would be bigger than she was. and I'm not saying that she didn't give us storylines and something new and there were fights and there were dramatic situations that she was involved in, but not quite to the level that I thought because it really just kind of died down And I think. And I and I'm curious even for season two, it's like now you're with Bill, Billy. Well I do like, you know, he put his foot down. He's like, you know what? I'm not not I'm not gonna to have a woman whoses other man supports her lifestyle and all of that. So like maybe that'll be the drama that we see and it's been two years so who knows what will happen. But everything kind of calmed down with Billy, which in real life, that's great for her. It seems like, you know, her situation was so unstable. now she has a lot of stability. so good for her In real life, that's great. For the TV purposes Maybe not so much. This was the season finale whichich I did think was a little mh compared to the rest of the season. Yes. I mean, except for those last five minutes that we got, but still like they didn't give us a lot and I feel like that's because we're going to get it in the reunion. And I'm also glad that so much time has passed because we know they filmed this almost two years ago. becausecause now there should be a lot more that is developed with Billy. Brian. That's her husband name Question Bllyan Brian. I even though I'm a person who got proposed to on TV That was kind of the deal with the show that I was on. So there was no surprise I would never normally want to be proposed on TV It would be hard for me believe how genuine in this particular situation the proposal was when I've been with you for nine years. I've talked about how you're not romantic. I've talked about how You need to redo your proposal And you wait until I'm on a television show where I've been exposing how it really is to get down on one knee and do it this way. I just it would be so hard. She seems very happy. Its just for me. wouldould that be hard for you? For me, that would be really hard to be like, how do I know this isn't performative It would be hard for me to yeah, for me to be like I've asked for this for so long and it's weird that this is what's exactly making you w to do it. But they did record this so long ago. They didn't know Like when they were recording it, they didn't really know what was going to come of it I think maybe he wanted to do it and maybe, you know, how producers are. I'm sure producers mentioned like, oh, this would be the perfect place for you to do it. and maybe he was like, o ye. because he doesn't seem like a bad guy. He just seems like he's not romantic at all and he is pretty focused on hisselfl over Yeah on his business. I don't know, it doesn't seem like Alicia takes a lot to be like happy All she wants. So she's simple It's craacky. Yeah She's pretty simple. Yeah, I she wants a fig, a cracker A driver and a part of the little mama's business that she came up with That's about it. That's so. Yeah. I agree with that. I think initially I would have thought that she was high maintenance just because of like how she is, but she does really just seem to like enjoy the simple things in life. L it's very basic for her. and I'm not calling her simple, and neither are you. It's just that like She's not as high maintenance as maybe some of the other women are, and that's a little endearing especially in a herself Yeah, that's a different perspective. I didn't think of it that way I actually like that if I knew that my husband was having an affair I need to know everything. If it's a rumor is If there's evidence, if there's a timeline, if there are proof, if there are receipts I could not function being ignorant. and knowing that Something else is out there. could or could not be true And it leads me to believe that the only way that you're okay with that or you're pretending to be is if you already don't trust your husband, and so this is just like par for the course, which I do not think Rula trusts Brian. I don't think that rule of trusts Brian. that Rula wants to get divorced from Brian Very true. So would you be unhappy and ignorant and perform it. Well, I don't think she's happy. I think she's just I think she doesn't want to have another divorce and let people, I think it's performative. That is not a happy woman I mean, we didn't get a lot of No, ' she's like sick all the time ' she's like so stressed. That's what she saidays. I don't even know if I think she just doesn't want to film. By the week got to the finale, I thought to myself, Rula really hasn't filmed that much Rulle's been missing in action a lot. So Okaykay, so you know the day where they went to Rosie's husband's performance, his Fank Frank Sinatas performance for they get that fight. Remember how there's that girl there who they say her husband played on the Patriots Yes. There's a rumor that she was supposed to be a full time housewife Okay. And then something happened with her marriage or something And she quit the show and asked to be like completely taken off of it or something. And They like filled in with rula, basically. That's a rumor that's going around. Do I know if that's true? I don't know that's true or not But Rula was originally supposed to be a friend of And then got. move to full time housewife. That's what the rumor is, and it could or could not be true. It just seems like it would make sense because Rula didn't seem required to be there as much as everybody else Well, it when they would make, you know, she was sick or whatever. likeike the one time she was sick and he was feeding her bed and breakfast. She had a full face of makeup on You know, it's like I'm not saying you're not sick, but like it's kind of hard. It doesn't really fit the storyline. You know, you a mask on or something if you don't want to show your face without makeup And she wasn't in the first episode, remember She wasn't in the very first episode. She came in episode two Hm they may have alluded to her. Beuse I remember thinking, wow, she came in episode two and we're coming in hot with the cheat with the with the cheating husband Yeah And then remember they went to that winery. She didn't go to that. and Jo Ellen thought that they were gonna trick her and pop up with her and she was pissed Yeah. She didn't come she didn't come to the Was a newewport where they went out to with the big like kind of castle mansion place with the werslidees.n that Rula did not film a lot and If they were going to make her full time because of the storyline, then we there was plenty of time to catch up. it looked like she just didn't want to film. but I just can't get over peopleeople are you ask for because she did ask for proof. I don't think she thought Jwellin would have something. Shewellen comes from her and she still denies it If Ruella really is sick all these times, I think it's stress And I think that she is very unhappy. and I think that that is weighing on her health. She doesn't look happy She doesn't look like a happy person. Well, I also think that she's constantly like Nervous I think she's constantly like, what is someone going to come up with? What is someone going to say L at her own party when they were like, haveave you seen the video? She was like you know what I mean? Like she was very, very nervous Yes And then I would have been like Hey, let's meet up tomorrow for coffee. I can't wait tillil lunch or dinner first thing in the morning. Sh me the video I need to see the video. because I need to figure out how I'm moving forward in this. And that's the wildest part about the ending of this You would think she would be the one to do a tracker And for what actuallyctually, actually I just to answer my own question You know why he put a fucking tracker on her car becausecauseuse he wanted to know where she was when he's fucking up ye She wanted to know that she wasn't like at first I was like, why is he monitoring her? No, he wants to know when is she coming back to the house? Or O is she coming to where she is she is she does she know where I'm at? Is she coming where I'm at? Am I gonna run into her where I'm at? Yes hundred percent, which is nuts And I need a full report on how she found out and then how she realized it was him. because obviously that all came about because they have enough evidence to charge him Which we got that mug shot I was going to ask you,re you're the social queen taptain notot ear to the street, like the feet are there. evenven though I had feet on the street this past weekend, we'll talk about that in a second. But I I just Wow. they just need to say, you know what? We've agreed to have an open marriage That's what they need to come and say. They have agreed. That's the problem. Well, I' say post the show I don't think that she wants an open marriage. I think that she's fighting for him to not want that She does not wantan to get divorced again. I think it's completely against her culture. I don't think it's what she wants. He doesn't seem to care Well When you cheat And then the person takes you back and the sheet again. and the person takes you back. And the person knows what to say and do to manipulate the situation, to keep you coming back Why would he change Why would he Maybe rul is like this is my bottom line, you know, donon't get someone pregnant or don't embarrass me. We're past that part that little ladder I don't know but it's really sad to see Not really A actuallyually, I take that back. I can only feel sorry for you for so long. When you want to put your head in the sand and not pay attention to what is right in front of you. You don't want to read the writing on the wall. I can't feel sorry for you. I just have to say, you were willing to accept a life that I never would you were choosing this, That's your choice I'm not going assign any kind of feelings to it other than this what she wants to do P? arere you dropping it if you're Jo Ellen? If I'm Joellen, my foot stays on her neck If are't youellen I'm going to be like I was out at the mall today and I saw Brian holding hands with So and so going into the Chanel store I was talking to my friend on the phone, I was scrolling through social media, I would I'd be like, if you don't care, then why can't I talk about it? How is it hurting your marriage Yes. You just want to turn away. likeike you know it's there. So I'm to talk about it That would be me. I think if you weren't my friend. if you weren't my friend Well, they're not friends. And Joeln is doesn't like Brian. She's like, I don't like Rouula' whatever. I don't have a problem with Rule. I feel bad for her Ryan callalling my job and trying to get me fired There's not really like an end in sight for me Yeah The alarm should have gone off for us then. It's unfortunate that for sure It's unfortunate that Rula is collateral damage in this Jo Ellen is like, I want to bring him down And I'm going to do whatever that takes to continue to do that Rula seems to have no voice. In her marriage, he seems quite controlling dominating That is one in the action that you just mentioned about him calling up to Joella's job to try to get her fired. He had no regard for her. That's him trying to control and manipulate the situation. C m No, no. And I'm glad Joe Ellen's husband was like, Hey Let me tell you something. You're going to mess like the irony and you accusing my wife of messing with your family's livelihood and then you don' to go out and do the fucking thing. I think that you know, I say I shouldn't assign any feelings, but maybe if there was one, it would be concern because I wonder how dominating and controlling Brian is because obviously the tracking situation, even if we are right and saying that he's doing it so he can monitor her so he can cheat He's still tracking her. like that is such a violation of privacy. E if it is with the person that you've taken vows with before God and family and friends and share a bed with, that is such a violation of privacy that it is that like think Think about it, Cie, who uses a tracker? Well are gonna say, I know a lot of married people. The police. Well, yeah I know a lot of married people who share locations sharing locations and and knowingly knowing where your spouse is. I do think there's like a matter of safety involved, convenience, whatever having that. A lot of people use L stle three sixty familyam L L through sixty. That's it's called yeah. Life through sixty, they can track all their kids, their spouses, all of that Knowingly doing that is one thing Right. putut a tracker on my car and I don't know. what else are you doing Are you recording my conversations Guess Do I have privacy No. As far as I know they're still together, I don't know, but like as far as I know they're still together They have she definitely hasn't come out and said like we're taking time apart. likeike we haven't seen any of that. I would think I don't know, I'd be mad about the cheating too. I would be very mad about you tracking me without me knowing And you you're tracking me and I've caught you cheating Subent times is it is sad that Some people and almost said it againueela The rula in this case, is so bound by societal standards or even gender standards, I should say, and stills likeast culture cultural standards, religious standards, societal standards that she feels like she has to stay in this marriage. and it is better for her to be unhappy. and live with a husband who is untruthful to her than it is to get divorced because that is much more shameful. And I just in twenty twenty six, as a person who's been divorced There's so much power in taking your life back and not being controlled by In this case, a marriage a situation, And not feeling like you have to live up to a certain standard that has been placed on you that really is a mythical creature in the first place. like all of this stuff is. It is used as a means of control and it's sad for me. And I'm not on a second marriage. I don't have kids. so dont I'm not saying it's easy for her. It is just sad to me really seems like She is doing this for because of how it'll look and how it'll look on her. She thinks that is she will look worse divorcing again than he does as a cheater, almost like because that's just what men do At least he's not leaving her. att least he's not leaving her at the end of the day. Yet. Yeah, I know. I do agree with you. I think that she thinks it's better to stay in it than to not be in it whichich is really sad and I hope Becauseuse I think about this with Amanda, which we know we're about to talk about that next, but like, Juliette and I talk about this an enormous amount. on I was going to say Bachelor party but it's getting a new name. So our podcast. I'm so thankful that I have a good group of friends and that I've had these friends for a long time. and that I know that if I was doing something That was horrible for me or if I was doing something and making awful decisions and hurting myself or even hurting other people My friends would be like, what the fuck are you doing? Yeah? What's going on? What's happening? Wh did your ability to make good decisions go Wh did your ability to have self worth, self love And like your standards go I just know my friends wouldn't just go along with whatever Oh and I hope. Rula has family or friends that are kind of like let's reevaluate what makes the most sense. And I think You know, it's not as cut and dry as every situation because they do have kids, they do have a family and there's more on the line here But imagine being their kids and watching this season No I can't I cannot even imagine a big. Yeah, that was the last thing I was going to ask you is Do you think she'll come back So I have a friend of a friend that knows him. And I guess inst said it's like the worst thing he's ever done in his life The show or the cheating. the show Unfortunately doesnesn't that say at all? I mean, I hope he's also saying that the cheating is bad. I just know that I know someone who knows someone, so it's like, you know, it's a few removed, so take this with a grain of salt Um But the talk of the town in Rhode Island, which as we know, is a very small place apparently. is that he regrets doing the show I'm sure he does regret doing the show. I'm sure it is ant impact. it's a small place, but here's the thing It's a small place So everybody knew probably what he was doing anyways, which is why it came to Joe Ellen. even before Joe Ellenss talked about it, the other women were talking about it. It's just that now people outside of Rhode Island know. And I'm sure he's been recognized multiple times and They bring this up and recognize As the cheetah. Yeah Yeah, it'll be interesting. U I wonder if it's affected his business? I'd assume, yes, right? Well, I think that they already know he's a cheater. Unless Joe Ellen has like a crazy group of girlfriends who are like We're not going to he's a podiatrist, right Yeah, like I don't think it's affected his business I think it's affected his reputation and he seems to care more about that. I mean, the fact that he said this is the wor allegedly said, this is the worst thing that's ever happened to him and not the fact that he hurt his wife with his extramarital affairs Doesn't tell us all? Um And I actually think that Italy was like a last straw. for them because I think they did so many things that Bravo asked them not to do. and West specifically did so many things talks nine hundred times more on his podcast than he did in the reunion He had this sit down conversation with Kyle and I think that was the most worthless conversation of the three. We got zero information from him. He talked But at the end of his sentence, I was like So wait what did he like what Nass it there Nothing was coming out. He just like said things. Then they film this whole thing and I'm sure they're like, can you please lay low until this conversation comes out and they go to Italy. Per usual, I was the last to leave the house when we rarapped because I lug so much gear out, but this year was different. ten season seasons in the books, a new show on the way and a heartbreaking way to end one hell of a run I'm tearing up as I type this because we truly become a family shooting the show and it was a gut braching way to leave this house for good. I bet you more if his friends were supposed to come this summer Yeah And maybe they will withoutam. Maybe KJ knows them and maybe they will anyway But Part of Summer House' storyline is Well, it was Kyle and Amana, but it was them coming in, getting the big room. gathering everybody around. He's been there the long this, he gets it. he knows like that's it. Carl doesn't have that ability He doesn't have an ee as much as I like Carl Carl is not the host for sure. I think Carl can keep the culture of Summer House, but they need a very strong lead and I think they want that lead to be Sierra And I'm not sure if it's Sierra, but do like this the combo of Sierra Mia. KJ So if we're going to go out to more of their friends, I think we'll be fine I'm just really sad about Kyle because I just started liking you again, Kyle Oh I've always liked Kyle. but Carl cannot leave the house and I'm sorry to say this. And she went from that to being on TV with a bunch of cameras in her face Talking to the girl who she got cheated on with Thow other girl that she got cheated on with I'm not sure if this is the easiest scenario for me, h That's one. Tw She did put out a little statement being like, yes, I know. I was still talking to him. We've all been down bad about a guy and like I know that I shouldn't have been doing it, but I wanted to get out how I felt about the situation My life blew up before my eyes and like I never even had time to process it or have like real conversations with him about it Um, And I think what people can't like understand and including myself is that like most people in these situations when that happens, there are conversations that gets to be had. But because West is a public figure and people were clocking every single thing that he does and everywhere that he went, he couldn't just like go hang out with Mia for a Miha for a few hours and have like a combo.
