Okay, Rhode Island We get our reunion These women have been here before. Everybody except for Ashley, and this is not a knock on her. I think that she's her presence is needed in this cast But she was the only one who seemed taken aback by the the back and forth, the yelling, the jabs that were being thrown. likeike her facial expressions I'm sure are being meimed everywhere, but these women are pros. It's like they have a anytim they gather, they have reunion energy because they knew what they were doing. I know you're not gonna to like this. U oh Portinoy who has been following Summer House closely and has been doing his little like, I don't know what he does. He goes runs down to theage and does like a little thirty second video I know But u He posted after The Whiteboard guys did their thing with West. And He was like, I have to be honest with you Why are we talking about Summer House? He's like, My girlfriend just made me watch Rhode Island reunion with her He's like, it's not Close These women are going after each other Sut is being thrown out. They're yelling. He's like there's no people beta blocker zannied out on stage mumbling. He's like, we're getting full blown arguments And this has happened more than once in my life, but I'm like I agree with you, Dave. I agree This is A plus television. This is what you watch reality TV. Yeah But as we keep saying from the moment we got that first episode, season one, episode one, it is reminiscent. O how we all fell in love this franchise, which the timing couldn't be better as we're entering the twentieth season twenty years And we're celebrating that. I think that premieres in August to come back to find what made it so great. It' just a It's a breath of fresh air. because we know we say this all the time. As fans, we have such an insatiable appetite. We have We complain about You know, we're not getting enough. This person feels like a fan. These storylines are redundant and then they give us Rhode Island. And we've said this before. like we feel like they've found They know what they need to do like with I don't watch McB Dynasty, but people love that. We know that there's the born Texas show that's coming out that I feel like my sister has given me a little bit more background because she knows some people from there. so Apparently it's just not from that show, but just like the culture of that town. area. Yeah yeah. So it should be really good U So yeah, I it excites me, but this reunion So good. I mean, even Rula coming in with a new face. a characteristic of a housewife. whether you liked it or not, the fact that she knew By the time I sit down at this reunion couch and I'm this close to Andy, I need to come with A new face And she did. And she's mostly healed By the time She sat down She wasn't healed and no, I mean, mostly healed. No, no, I I think it's fresh. She looks good, but it's fresh still. L she can't bump into anything, which even Alicia. when Joe Ewen got. I will punch you and I'll break your nose. I'll punch you in the face. Alicia was like, no, please, it's still brand. her nose is brand new. Her face is brand new And I felt like The women would respect that You know how it's like famiess off limits, kids are off limits. I feel like new work is also off limits. Okay.ow. would would I would beat you up, but I'm going respect I'm going to respect the work whether I like it or not, I'm going respect it, which to that I say That is a good rule If there was a housewife's Bible, write it down. If I do the opposite, if I scroll, every other person, I'm like, whoo's this? How this do I know this person? And then it's like suggested follow. And I'm like, Why am I seeing this? And then don't you do the thing where you're like, whyy am I following them? And then you're like, oh wait, I'm not following them. I go, Yeah More suest enough, stop that Stop that. I will say though that my algorithm is getting pretty reset with anti summer house stuff. I had dinner last night with u been from Watcher Crabins And we were talking about that and he was saying, he thought he went to a place where they were teaching him. and then they literally were like, so get online and go home. They tell me it's like it's like, I think it's a hit in at least in the United States, everywhere you go, peoplee are playing. We're like light to. I hosted a party at my house. What? And had Yeah, because I wanted to learn how to play and you have to it takes a while. So I had teachers come in, teach me and all my friends And then it was four hours. And then we played like rounds Um And like now like I can go play pickup. Majong Do you do that? Just walk into a random game. I haven't done it y I play online every day Kelly, I'm impressed. I just got my set yesterday. No, so now mind all. You're so serious about it. I do I have a group group of friends that We do game nights, like we're big game nighters. They know how to play I don't So It's a lot of fun to play with fun people I don't want to play with like If you're not drinking, I probably don't want to play with you Okay. This what I mean like Yeah, it needs to be lively. You can't drink and do it when you're learning though, ' it's really confusing at first. How many people do you need? Four. Okay. They agree to be cordial and I kind of even like the way they're doing it This isn't one of those situations where I'm like, guys, we have to get along for the sake of the show. I like that Rosie's like, look, I don't fuck with her, but I can be cordial for the sake of the group I like that energy Kelsey's the same way. Like they went and took shots together at Rula's party. neeither one of them liked each other. Yeah. ye. that's I feel like if I was a house driife, that's how I would be I don't need to make it a thing every time unless you want to go there and then I'm ready, you know, as my great aunt used to say you want to get froggy? I'll jp. Some one's a little bit more ready than the other. Rosie is eating Kelsey's ass up. And I mean, I'm sorry, there's just no other way to say it. I don't know if she's has these things planned. I don't think so I don't know these if they are, she's delivering it beautifully. Yeah, because you know, when we see Rula go at Joellen and she's like, I don't know what's bigger, what's between your mouth or what's between your legs. I'm like, you could have probably you probably thought about that one before. But when Kelsey's like, Well, I do think you have a coworker. I didn't like that When she's like, but I think I think that was pre plananned. But when Kelsey's like, well, you do it, you you had a coworker She lives inike I was like that She said, the only coworker that you have is the girlfriend that lives in Florida. So yeah, I do think you suck Dick for a living And then Kelsey's response was Do do you suck your husband's stick? And she goes, notot really, not my thing And then she's like, call me when you wanted divorce. I'm like, Do you know Do you have one, Kelsey? You weren't even married Right. I was like, okay, I don't think you need one, babe. Why do you have one Kelsey's saving Gace. like Kelsey? Yeah, no, no Kelsey's saving Grace is that Rosie eats her up and she still keeps going. L she doesn't get, you know, she doesn't cry, She doesn't walk away. She just sits there and she takes it And I'm kind of like, you know what That's the saving grace of it all. You know you got at up, you tried, you failed We just, you know what I mean? It's not like I know you are, but what am I type thing? It's just right Yeah, I think you can see inside of Kelsey's brain, this is what I see. When she sits there silent I feel like Kelsey's like, whatever, I'm so so pretty I think like that's what I think she thinks. exens it He's like, whatever. When also I did like that when Andy, first of all, this was insane when Andy was like So many of our fans, like I can't tell you how many people wrote in and said that they were really struggling, telling you guys all apart And everyone was like, what? No. And then Andy was like, yeah, Rosie and Kelsey, so many people couldn't tell you guys apart and Kelsey's like, I don't see it, I don't see it. And Rosie was like, I don't see it, but that's a compliment. R Kelsey's really pretty And I'm like, like Rosie's also not a hater. Like she doesn't like Kelsey, but she could acknowledge She's very pretty. Like I have no problem being with people saying that I look like her. Yeah And they don't. It's No, I don't think they look like. But I'm saying that I like someone who can dislike someone while also not being recognize the truth. She's not just going to hate on her for no reason. R. Becauseuse if you call Kelsey Ugly, we know you're hating because I think we all can understand she's universally pretty I'm with you. And that to me is how those women are which it's very jersey It's very New York Its is East C coast It just feels like a It's definitely East Coast energy. and I didn't like Rosie to start the season and she's like one of my favorites by the end of it. And that's also what I like in a housewife. Like she won me over without trying. Yeah. She was just herself the whole way through completely. Everything about Rosie Butter House. Butter house. I even like I think she and Is it rich They seem to have a really solid relationship. I love they're very supportive of one another. I absolutely believe her about this whole coach rumor. and I love the simple call out of did you see the police report? Jo J's like No, I didn't I have friends that work in law enforcement. and I'm like, Rose But I also appreciate Joell and be like, No, I didn't. But I'm still gonna throw I'm thowing the trutue. I'm gonna throw trer out there. But if you question me, I'm going to be like, well no I did not. L that And H anyone seen it? and they were all like No What are we talking about there? But it's such good TV. It's so funny to be. Not for Rosie Its see it's obviously It's annoying for her. I think most people realize it's so not true. It seems to not have affected her relationship with her husband And so that's good too. Like everything seems to be Legit. Everything totally fine. Legit. Yeah, everything just rolls off these women's back exxcept for Liz. Liz is was one of my favorites. I know, but she reminds me of Kay Michelle Like she's kind of like making up things that might not be happening. Yeaharania paran. Yeah, she's so used to and it seems like none of these girls really want to fuck with Liz They will, but they don't want to. They're scared of. And I think Yeah, I think Liz has like run Rhode Island for a while. and deffinitely not used to people going against what she says But like when she said You guys set me up in the car Both Joelle and Alicia were like What are you talking about Yeah And I'm like couldould they have texted about I'm going to talk about this Totally But like they didn't force you to St start yelling. No. also They were being quite reasonable. They get first when I first watched it. And we did throughout the season up until that point, see Jo Ellen kind of play both sides. I thought maybe Liz has a point But then watching everything after that, I'm like, it makes total sense that Jo Ellen was just trying to de escalate the situation. Yeah, she was just like, let's just stop talking about it. Let's switch the subject. Yeah. and that's not what Liz wanted And maybe Liz and Joen had a conversation before But Liz kind of was like, No, you agree with me, you have my back no matter what. And it's just over something so silly. and you know how you know it's over something so silly because Alicia and Liz are fine. It's just that Liz respects Alicia because they grew up together. She's like a little sister in ways that She doesn't respect Jo Ellen. I do think Jo Ellen believes that they're closer than they really are. or maybe Liz led her to believe that, but Liz is kind of like I Almost like I don't really need you in that kind of way. Again, if you're not going to be loyal to run everything And so Dwellan probably wants to be close to Liz and so she thought she was closer to Liz. I do think that they were actually friends, like Liz being. Like why' y'all spend Mother's Day together? which also is weird After all of this happened, You all still spent Mother's Day together two weeks ago before the reunion filmed What happened in those two weeks where all of a sudden liizves, you hate Jollen Maybe she rewatched maybe she watched the episodes, Maybe they got the last couple of ones. I don't know because you know, they filmed it before the season's over I'm not quite sure The liiz of it all It's It was cool at first. Like I said, she and Rosie have switched for me. And then it's like, I mean, remember the scene where she's like, no, I never paraphrasing but kind of like I don't think I'm wrong ever. I don't really apologize for anything. And she's talking to Kelsey and Kelsey's like, okay push back, no let me hold you accountable. It's like, I'm okay. Okaykay. Even during this reunion, Kelsey runs to her dressing room kind of like I just want to make sure everything is okay. It's like, I'd rather keep my enemy closer. I just don't want to ruffle any feathers, which is why I appreciated Alicia. Alicia was calling her out And they still seem to be fine at the end of the day because according to Liz, Alicia has a good heart She I at least thought that she would take back the kicking of the chair, the saying ye, I did pull your hair. Yeah, I did kick your chair. It's And I think what makes it Almost creepy is the look on her face as she's delivering some of this Yeah. the smile. the like the frozen I It's creeping me out I think she feels very passionately about it, but it's just weird because it seems like Joeln had no idea this was coming Aur Joness like, wait, what? we just spent Mother's Day together Y mouth like I guess Where is this coming from? I thought Joella was I thought they knew coming in. Joellen to me seems like she was not caught off guard by Liz's behavior I thought that she maybe thought something happened, but the way Liz is like you're an evil person I feel like Jo Ellen is like, what the fuck over the conversation in the car that I wasn't that I didn't have your like I don't Liz did way more to Jo Eellen than Jo Eellen did to Liz. Yeah. Why is Liz whyy is Liz so upset Like you said, it's she's run things. Also she's fifteen years older than everybody. I know, yeah But as much as Liz runs things or has run things I have to be honest. I think Jo Ellen has fought bitches before moreore than once But I think Liz has to. Liz may have two. I think she' retired actively still from. Yeah. I was going to say, I think Liz has retired from it, but Joe Ellen is still like ready to go The way When they're like, Jo Ellen, you know you're crazy too People know that you're crazy and Jo Ellen's, said I wasn't crazy. I'm like, she's a little too comfortable being called crazy. She's a little bit too comfortable saying that she acts irrationally. And then when she says when she's like, I will Punch you in the fucking face I'm like, seems like she's she actually might do that. Yeah. And at least you're being like, no, no, don't. herer work's new I'm like, do you really think she's gonna to get up and punch her? ' seems like you do. I did I did. I was surprised. definitely gets down. That's what I've learned from this reunion. Yeah The two best lines of this reunion, one you already did with what Rosie said to Kelseie. But the other one was It's just so simple Your husband's a slut. Y husband's a slut is my favorite There was a p dagger Yeah There was a passuse. She was like, You're whore. Everyone knows you're whore. You sleep with doctors. You're a slut Y husband's a food. I was like, Oh my God. That was a dagger because it's true. It's true. You know, we don't know. there are rumors floating about. I think people believe the rumors with Joe Allllen, Jo Allllen seems very obsessed with her husband and very much so honest about Yeah, I was I was I was a slut. kind streets. Kind of like you How Madison stre. You know,adison's like, I'm a retired slut and she owns it And you know, I'm only using the slack word because they use it And I feel like Yeah, like own who you are. I don't agree with calling people those names, but they're like, I'm a retired slut. I feel like that's Jollen and she's like, Yeahah, I did. or you I heard you fucked him on the boat. No, I did it on land That's why I believe her. That's why I believe her because she seems very and her husband has talked about they've p threess, talked about I don't know if she said they were open, but maybe they were open in that moment But yeah, like I don't said that she also has slept with like she's definitely been like pretty open with that she has like experimented and been out here. And even when she talks about how her mom kicked her out, she was like, yeah, I went to go take a shower and actually crept out of the bathroom window and went to my boyfriend's house. Like See definitely insinuates that she was wild growing up. Yes. And I think they take that honesty and try to place it in the present. and I just don't think that that's true. So when I hear Roua saying, Oh, you do this and this is how you've built your business and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, The reason I think that Jo Ellen doesn't really get that mad is because she knows it's not true. But you know what it is true Y husband's a slut Yeah. Unfortunately we have too much information that leads us to that conclusion. Which is why I'm like, we get the husbands, which I'm also thrilled that next week People have men sitting behind them How many reunions have we had where either we either can't have them because there's only men we started with men and now we don't have men. Really nice that that's what we get. But like Rula, You know, it's an art. She's bad at it, but it really is an art. The excuses and the way you really try to accept the things that Brian tells you. as The truth but won't accept the evidence that's in front of you from anybody else And I think she just made up my mind. I'm staying in this. so I think that's fine Rula, if you want to stay in it You stay in it. I think you villainizing the people telling you the truth is the problem. Agree. She should just be like Jo Ellen, I'm done. I'm over it. I'm staying with Brian, and I'm not calling you a liar. You might be right. I don't know, but like I want to keep my family together. so this is what I'm doing. Can you respect that I think Jo Owen would lay off. The reason why she's not laying off is because you are making her the bad guy. You're calling her a liar. You're calling her obsessed with you when you ask for evidence. and then she get she gets more mad because she's like, you told me to do this and then now youre you're making me seem like I'm obsessed with you for doing it. Now, has Joellen continued to dig Probably because you pissed her off. Yeah. I think that was in her one timeing her card at the end that I think is clear semi clear at least, I don't Jo Ellen's a liar. I think Jo Ellen is a lot of things. She didn't have lot this she didn't have lot this episode because she didn't have that much beef. She just had a little back and forth with Liz. But her adlbs are great. Her ad libs. Alicia deserves first chair. She's great. She really is. She I mean, I think she's the most popular gu from the show. but ia went on Jake Shane's Netflix show. Did you that? I think it's his podcast? I didn't watch it, but I saw that she went on I just saw clips of it and he was like You know what I can tell? You have a really good heart And she goes, I do. And he like starts laughing and she's like, Listen I do Thank you I do have a good heart. I'm not gonna lie about it. And her funniness is like she's not trying to do a punchline, which is what I always recognized too. Liz goes. I walked in the store the other day and I said, ah, I love a good fireplace And she's like, and it made me laugh And I'm like I could see myself starting to say that too, but like that's Eunha Yeah You just can't take it seriously and you know, she really does seem to be good person, a genuine person. Good heart Just to give Ashley something, she's gotta stop shitting on her It's not even just her husband's business. it's a family's business. T say it's doing well. Yeah. too say it's doing well and the show has helped it out and that's complicated things more sounds like you're rooting against your husband. I understand It must be you have two young kids He's not at home because he's pouring it into the business. It takes away from the family unit. It takes away from you guys Also having your own intimate relationship. I understand the struggle with it. I'm not taking that away. I can't imagine that he enjoys this No, but also like he's pretty supportive of her Like I feel like he showed up to everything that he had to for the show. You see him all the time in her content on Instagram Um based off followers and everything, like They have to be doing pretty well with how much content she's like pumping out This may. I don't know. And he's working hard for it. It's not like he's just did it and his do it. Like he's working his ass off. I get the frustration, but her talking about it like, o, it's doing well. G. Let's put a period behind that. not now that's made it's complicated Yeah, I think she can be a little bit more supportive even though I don't disagree. I'm sure it has made it more complicated. You know what I mean? Like what's she saying They want different things that like all of it doesn't need to be included. Yeah. Yeah Yeah. Yeah. And it I think they'll be fine. They seem to really care about each other Yeah. And I think the biggest problem is like she really does want to spend a lot of time with him loves him. Anybody who watched their journey. I did not watch Bachelor during that time, but you know, I'm in the world so I know enough about it. Yeah, like that's for sure She's down bad for him and for him to change and to start being. her, I think it's genuine. I'm not questioning it. I'm just saying, I think he truly loves her too It's I think it's hard because we're not getting there's not much else to her storyline. So I hate for them that the storyline is. business and it's to and like if she seems critical of it. Also, I don't know how much crossover there is with Bachelor and Bravo so I'm like People don't even know how obsessed you are with him. They're only saying this. And it seems like maybe they couldn't get the clips cleared to show that because I feel like they would have shown it They would have shown something Or at least like the whole crying thing, that's her other storyline. that was already a thing. And I said, I'm in. I'm h I thought this is going to be so hard to watch because I feel like I don't speak the same language as this generation I love the show I like the show a lot This first episode to me felt very overproduced. but I think this The first season felt overproduced to me. It is an overproduced show. but I But it works for me because Gin Z is overproduced. so I feel like it's playing into I don't know if you you did. You watched Calabas's confonfidential That felt overproduced in a different way This feels overpredal and it works If If you guys watch the confidential was like Lagoona beach Sira, whatever year that was. This is more like, I'm like, I don't need the like cuts, the text messages I like it Blurbs. L I'm just like this is a lot. I like it. U In the first episode of any season You know, it's kind of like a new people catch everyone up what's happened since last season So I thought it was like fine, but I wasn't super into it. The one person that I think I feel a little bit differently about from ending last season I hated Charlie at the end of last season and this first episode I was like, I kind of appreciate that he like doesn't care about the hate. L that it hasn't made him miserable, that he hasn't changed up. like he's He's like, people are going to say shitty things about you. You got toa keep moving He called himself a narcissist. I don't know if I've ever seen something before that Well I think I think to be a public figure period, you have to have some narcissistic tendencies. That's what I saying. seelf included R? I'm on want a microphone, right? I've been on reality TV. Not saying I'm above We think people care about what we have to say. Yeah. like there's there are like we can own that, but he said, I think it's my narcissism. And I was like, I don't know if I've ever heard anybody say that. He didn't say narcissistic f this things. He said, it's my narcissism, like totally owning being a narcissist and almost said it like it was a flex That was interesting to me, but If he really is that then yeah, it makes sense that he The hate doesn't really affect him. It bounces off of him because He's a narcissist. Um yeah, I just appreciated that because I think it is a lot go from like an unknown person to that. Also he had the whole like torture house thing He did't have a great first season then he had the torture house. like he had a lot of bad energy coming his way which all at once for him to still be like, Let's go get coffee. I'm look good for you. Total Compartmentalizing is a healthy trait for him, he's not compartmentalizing. he's just not acknowledging it Delecting. I wish they gave us more about the torture house I wanted more background and maybe we will. Maybe somebody will call call get it because they've talked about it immediately. Yeah. I want more of that I thoughtought Georgia's Analysis was spot on I feel sorry for Hudson I feel like he has no friends. And that's why he is willing to be friends with Yeah, like he really? Yeah. I really do. I just think he wants a guy. And so he's willing to put things aside with Charlie, and Charlie needs a friend I mean, the group says that they have a lot of similar characteristics. so it makes sense. but I feel sorry for him. But when Georgeia said, I think He's hanging out with Hudson because Hudson has money I thought Probably true. I think that yeah, I agree with that. I think that Charlie actually likes Hudson now. but even in his conffessionals, he was like Hudson needs a little bit of me around him. L he's a billionaire and like doesn't know it That's that's a thing You dont want him donce. You know what I mean? likeike And not small town. in Atlanta., they're suburbs. I don't mean I took back the small town, I took it back, but outside It's still a slower pace compared to New York and you moved with your g. But like his parents had to have done someomewhat of a good job for him not to walk around the way that he could walk around. Yeah, if it wasn't for the jewelry And he's had And he has a little bl up season two, right? Like he's done a little something different That's cute. Yeah, yeah, they They seem to he seems to come from humble beginnings, truly despite the wealth Um, rightight Yeah, he doesn't act like a trust fund kid or no. can im I was gonna to say, can you imagine if Charlie came from from that They much. Yeah. Like Charlie came from a lot and walks around Like he came from Hudson's coming from, right Right., But I don't know, like I feel I feel sad for Hudson and he clearly still wants to be with Ariana and you know But we know they're together now Oh, they are. I didn't know that. In real time. Kally right the p you stay In on the on the b got back together. Good I I assume they get back during this season because it was not a long breakup from what I remember on social med. whichich is interesting because the trailer for the season shows this new guy Liam who There's like fifteen different things that he does, but it seems like she and Liam have some chemistry. and Liam is also a new ref friend of Hudson and he seems to still be pursuing Ariana. So that's nice. I did not know that. so I love to hear that because like Hudson and I like Ariana Missed Riley this episode W wish we could have seen some more. I mean, I know she was in Atlanta And I it made me wonder because she had such a tough season one, I wonder if we're going to see less of her in season two Because even in the trailer, I felt like we didn't get much from her feels like she just pays these people dusts. Jud, we got a lot of her in season one And we kn know it was tough for her And so I feel like maybe she's pulling back at least from this episode and then what I saw in the trailer got her. Right. And what I see in the trailer, I'm like maybe she's maybe she's not as much of a central character, which is fine. There's a lot of them. And I think that was a that's my biggest complaint for this episode is ! There's a lot of them. Yeah There's a lot of Gia stepping. I think we're getting more Ava This season. Lva This last season she was kind of quiet Yeah, and I like that we're getting the dame dash of it all And she's being very honest about the eviction and all of that. I think, you know what it feels like? it feels like Somebody told her which she pointed out, she was like, I at least one one hundred thousand followers and then they show that she has eighteen thousand And somebody on her team was like, you're going have to be more of a cential character and step it up if you want more if you want more of fun it GS same thing. Gia remember we felt like Gia was kind of acting like a And she is an OG because of her mom in New Jersey, but it felt like she was kind of being a little bit of a I've done this, I'm above it all And I feel like we're getting more, she's more in it at least from the first episode, which I want which I want Um, yeah, I mean, that's really it. I I like these kids I like these kids and I'm looking forward to the rest of the season Happy Jin Zy is back. I mean Jin. Now like watching these kids. Um And you got to give it like three episodes before you really know. So I'm excited to see Brook Shields and her daughter on That's going me too. That's going to be fine about that And again with them being like Wh's Broo S shows, it's like Han Montana's mom. and I'm like,h, w Okay when they said that, I was like, that's not who I would have described her as. But to be honest, I don't know who I would describe her as. I would have been like I don't know I might have said a Alalvin Klein model. I might have said, Yeah, I would' have said model. Michael Jackson more than a friend. that's what I refond back to. Yeah. Yeah. So yeah, that's true though. I don't know how I would really in present day. When they said that though, that was my first thought. I was like, I have no idea who Montana's mom is. Didn't know sh Did'tash it. I did I never knew until This was on the trailer I never knew that. It should have its own day. But um I like hearing everyone else's stories. I don't like the Amanda and Kyle So As a guy like Kenny I told y'all y'all would turn on Kenny. I'm happy to see this play. I never said I didn't like Kenny. I said he was bringing it. He was bringing a lot. Fair The audience You know, because everyone Yeah. of course, Rachel's not being critical. Oh I can't sing. I'm like just watch. I'm happy that this obviously Now Kenny, there's no show. Let me be very clear. Kenny is the show. Wh onm shock. He' the entire show. When Whitney told me she was doing this show And she said Kenny was on. I thought Kenny was doing it to support her Never did I imagine Kinny is Such a star. He is the The m main character, but he does have main character energy even in real life. in real life that ye, I mean, it seems like that's who he is But Like him talking to his dad, like his dads all of it Oh, yeah. That's really hard. Like the fact that they were both looking for each other finally found each other. hisis dad apologizing Kenny offering like, can I fly you out here and his dad being like like yes, like please I just don't know where the show would be without Kenny. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. yeah. shout out to Kenny. as a person who You know, when Whitney met Kinney, his mom was dying I remember that I remember when his mom passed. I remember Pretty maybe like six weeks. I don't know, it wasn't even six weeks Maybe a few weeks after we all went to Aspen together ney and Whitney was more of a friend to him as he was going through it And I think I said this on the show that He was very careful of, I don't want to confuse what I'm going through with my mom her getting sick so suddenly and then passing away with mixing it like I'm jumping into a relationship. I don't want to be like it's I'm trauma bonding with you rather than right. I think I said that if and if I didn't, well, I'm saying it now. So to see the growth through that and to see him M in real time go through therapy and try to figure out He said it but I don't know if it's lay it with people. He was in like an eleven year relationship. He was in like an eight year relationship. He's a relationship guy desespite you know, some of the fuck boy narrative, that's real too. but the other side of it is real. to see him work it out of You know, like, what am I struggling with? What am I missing You know, like, wantanting to find his dad because I saw a narrative out there where I think his half brother was like, Ohh, he did this off for the show. That's actually not true. because I was around in real time, of him trying to figure out the answers, of him trying to losing his mom, wanting to connect It is true that his dad was looking for him, but And I hope I'm not saying too much when I say this, but Kinney is obviously very successful And his dad didn't have the means to hire a PI and search for him in that way there were certain things because like Kenny switched schools and his dad was looking for him at the old school and college and all of that didnid't come out on the show I don't know if you remember this. When I was podcasting about Bachelor, I talked about that I did not like the Matt James and his father's scene. And I said that the bachelor is not equipped to handle this conversation. And I felt like it played into a really negative stereotype and I just didn't like that That is not what I feel about. This connection with Kinny and his dad is It was so heartfelt. It was so meaningful. the dad crying and the dad, you know, the mom the wife saying, we've been looking for you and it just that It was such a beautiful scene from the phone to them talking to And that happened in real time by like them finding the phone like the cameras were there when they found the number and they called the wife. Whitney told me that that had it had been hours of filming. like they were just like in the apartment watching them do the research. But yeah, it's them connecting. it just It was really nice. And I just love, love, love this so much And love it for Kenny as an individual, loveve it for my friend in their relationship and all of that Um I also will say, we're still not getting a lot of Whitney. We're not getting a lot of Whitney. We're not getting a lot of Whitney, but who knew Kiny would be such main character ingy? Like yeah, I obviously I don't know We will. There is we will get some Whitney. But I think Kenney's storyline is taking I like is being prioritized and it makes sense I also say something about Danielle. and Owen apologies People were really upset that Um, earlier this week. I did not the way I was talking about Owens's name in the spelling. so I apologize for that. I can recognize when I'm wrong And I do appreciate that Bell in the outline pelled it. Ohw and, so I would pronounce it correctly just built an OWE in for me. That's funny. But as a Watcher of Summer House and now into the and watching in the city and seeing Danielle's journey Watching this last episode And her mom come in and speak to her too, I'm so happy for Danielle We really watched her for certain relationships, struggle through certain relationships, the desire to want to find her partner in life and advance to the next phase and to find it with Owen. And I you know hate that they're going through the Divorce, separation, dram and all that. She genuinely feels like very happy and Owen seems like a really good guy and her mom's acknowledging it. ten years in watching it. I just I'm so happy for her. I really love seeing this. This makes me love in the city. to see that kind of storyline. Lve it is a stretch, but I do like it. I think. I think I would definitely watch season two. So it's gotten me it's gotten to least that point Um I agree with you Danielle seems night and day Confident Calm more herself. and I like this version of Danielle. I like Owen. I like when they were trying to press him and he was like, I don't have to answer your questions. Like I'll answer what I know and I don't really care about like explaining my divorce to you. I'm getting divorced That's all you need to know. I need Gavin to more than Instigate Like Gava, what's going on in your world What's going on with you Is you lady? No Not presently, but we don't know, I don't know much maybe I'm trying to remember when this was filmed. I don't know his timeline. All I know about Gavin is that he instigates and wears Kenny's clothes Yeah Like stop being like, but are you I was just like Gavin As a person who knows' real life What's like, let's talk about your story Let's talk like your life. I also feel like he seems like he's actually pretty good friends with everyone So I'm like, you don't have to instigate. You can actually just be a friend that it seems that you actually are. like. You were there for Kyle. when Amanda left, you've been there for Kenny to like be that person. You don't have to instigate everything. You don't have to press them all the time Um It's so opposite, honestly, how Gavin is everybody's best friend. like and everybody knows Gavin. He's super connected And that's so like the instigating thing, I'm like, stop doing that because that's not how he is in real life. I feel like Kenny's also like doing that It' not who you are. because they all went to Cornell together. That's how they met. And so it's like what bro, what are you doing? Yeah and And I've kind of like these what are you doing? You a reality star Yeah, I guess, which again, also shocking. Yeah. I mean, Okaykay Amanda Kyle I am trying to truly, I am trying to W this as how would you watch everything you didn't know anything else.. Truly, I'm trying to I'm taking the West out of all of it and I'm watching it. It is Clearly Amanda is using the move as a buffer to make the final blow of I want a divorce easier. That's clearly her transition. But man, when you watch her talk to Kyle, And this would be my take regardless You are hanging on to the past and I mean it is like why are you you're not fighting for this. Why are you still here Why? It does seem like all of Kyle's friends or like even Kenny was like, I just am trying to understand what you're fighting for Yeah I mean, He loves Aanda. I'm like Why did you guys ever get married? If you were never gonna let go of him cheating on you ten years ago. Why did you ever or not ten years ago? They've been married four so five years ago. Why'd you get marri I really think It was This is the next stage of somebody taking care of me just like, and I will bring West in. Once she connected with West, it was like Now I can lash onto this And I think that's kind of why she's hanging around Kyle. Like she said, I've never lived by myself before when she's in the apartment. She just And I think that she thought P tried to convince herself she could get past it. Clearly, we see that she hasn't and I don't know if I've said this before this podcast, but I believe this Once you decide to move forward with someone after they've wronged you C't You're allowed to still feel hurt and it's going to take time to rebuild trust, obviously, but you can't keep throwing that thing back in their face. Yes. Yes. you can say it makes me feel uncomfortable go out because I'm afraid you're going to get bllackout truck. That's fair. but then Well, you did this and And the cy was like, that was ten years ago I don't believe somebody sent her a video of him making out with someone and she's making this like it happen when they were married I don't I do think Kyle drinks a lot, but I also think some of his drinking is ing mechanism I really think it's a coping. He said, I'm the loneliest extrovert. I think it's a coping mechanism because I have been in a relationship before where I hate going home And I would go out and I'd hang out with other people and I' try to find things to do. I would go with house go backles Yeah Even when Kyle said, I'm excited for It too what does he say feel like a home? I knew he meant The cleaning part of it, not Amanda Bone. I knew what he meant by that. He said it phrased it wrong in the wrong way, but I knew what he meant That's also a problem though. Like someone needs to hold Amanda accountable What's going on That room was insane The stuff in the bathroom. stuff in the bathroom, How did we get there? It was all over the place. Her stuff was all over the place. And her dad, obviously she's going through a tough time, but it just seems like her parents Don't hold her accountable. The wh during the whiteboard thing, they ask West about her parents and he was like, they're lovely, not scary. It was amazing. They showed a picture of West and her dad. And I'm like, You're okay with this guy and you weren't okay with Kyle? L West has already done more lying and cheating to Amanda And they're not even officially together Or maybe they were now they are not, I don't know whatever. In three months than Kyle did in their entire relationship. It's baffling to me. I think Kyle as much of a partier as Kyle is, Kyle's tyapeang. He's a type A person and I don't think and man is not and West is not And so I think I bet his apartment looks like that too It's Fratdy. it's it's like, yeah, and even even a watch and now we're bring with the Wes into it, but even a watch Amanda be like, sit with her dad and say, he wants me to go out more. I'm going out. And her dad's like, cool with Kyle. And she's like, no without Kyle. so You don't have a problem. you You don't have a problem that Kyle goes out. becausecause you don't have a problem West coasts out. You just don't like Kyle You don't like, as she said at the reunion, you just don't like going out with. Yeah. I don't like going out with. You just don't like him. She loves him. She doesn't like him. I've talked about this before Once the light disappeared. This is episode forty of us talking about Kyle and Amanda, which is why within the city, I'm like it anymore. I don't want to talk about Kyle Amanda. Yeah. They're miserable together Yeah. They don't like each other. They don't want to be together. They love each divorce When the like is gone, the relationship is dead. You gotta like the person you're with. And if you don't, love is not enough to sustain a relationship. I think that's one on one, you know that So Yeah. Interesting to see You and I'm interested in seeing the progression of Amana's apartment Once she gets furniture because she's like, Kyle's going to come in and say it's a mess. Well it is Amanda doesnn't matter. But like everything is kind of messy about her. The bun, the clothes U the apartment The only thing that seems to be kept together is that dog. The dog's always in an outfit, the dog seems to be washed, and like that she keeps I new apartment for you That should work together But yeah, it's just messy. She's just a messy person.
