Okay. let's jump into the show. What time is it my friends? It is? It's tea time. Big big story out of London. So King Charles has revoked Prince Harry's offer to stay at Buckingham Palace. There was an invitation for him to stay there, but he's not staying there anymore. So Harry rocks up now. as we're speaking, Harry will be arriving in London. In fact, I'm told he actually arrived late yesterday. If you remember King and Buckingham Palace. an offer an invitation that Harry, Meghan and the children, they were all going to go originally. That has not happened now. But the whole family was going to go. Harry had some concerns about security. and so what the king thought very, very wise and very generous was why didn't you stay at a royal palace? Because if you stay at a royal palace You're in the royal bubble. You get the royal security. So these palaces have extra extra security that other hotels and places do not have. They have armed guards. That's the thing here in Britain. A lot of people, private security are not allowed to carry guns. If you turn up in Britain and your're Madonna with a security guard hundredundred hundred security guards, they're not allowed at a gun unless they have a special special reason to have one. They're quite tricky to get. So Harry and the family, Meghan and the children were all gonna to stay at Buckingham Palace. Then it turned out that Meghan and the kids were not gonna go and now' finding out that this is Harry Dillion and dallion not making a decision, he was offered this place at Buckingham Palace. Some reports are that he declined and then changed his mind. someome reports are that he just didn't answer fast enough and by the time he said yes, it was too late. Now this is where it gets really interesting There are five hundred rooms in Buckingham Palace. I was just gonna say that We can throw a blanket down. Now, other people are saying it doesn't work like that. To stay at Buckingham Palace, it's not a hotel. it's got to be set up. For him his family is not with him, how much work does it take to put a couple of towels out, a bed, put some sheets on the bed? It's a massive place. I think that although a lot of people in Britain are celebrating the king for this decision and that's because they don't like Harry and Meghan. It's nothing else. If they liked Harry and Meghan, they'd be outraged It's a palace. There's room. I think it makes them look a little bit petty. What do you think, Misee? Yeah, I mean, the first thought that went through my mind when you were telling this story is in B I saw Buckingham Palace I was there. It's freaking huge. Yeah, it does feel a little petty. It's like, o, you didn't answer fast enough. You're not bringing my grandchildren so you can't stay here. I mean, he's one young, you know, young man.'s not that he's not that big. Again, does he have like an old bedroom he can stay in? I mean, this isn't it doesn't seem that complicated but again Like you said, the rules are different in London. They have to prepare whatever that means. So in that case You know, Harry, you should have said yes. Follow our rule. We say yes As soon as we get the invitation, and then we decide closer to the date whether or not we can make it do it. That's how you do it. I can go either way on this one because part of me is I do like rules. L if I'm gonna have a birthday party and I invite people, I ask them to respond by a certain date. Now to be honest, if you just turn up, you're gonna to get it. Like it's not like I'm going to be like, oh, you're not allow it. But then again I'm not a prince. my friends are not royals. I don't have to worry about security. I don't really have to worry about staffing. There is something about protocol for members of the royal family and Harry certainly wants to be treated as a prince, but he's left it a little bit too late now. However, if the dad called him and said, listen Come and stay here. You're not going to be on the couch, but it's not going be quite the royal visit because we didn't hire the staff. You don't have your own butler, you don't have your own chef, you don't have your own cleaner, but we'll figure it out. You know, I could rock up at my mom's house today. Now she might not be that happy that I didn't give her any notice to buy some water and some extra food, but she's not going say No. I think it's polite to give people some notice. You can't just ring my doorbell. Maybe you can. If you rang my doorbell, I'd be like, sleep on the couriage mistake. We'll figure it out. But it is trigger give some people some more. It's a little question for you, Rob So my question is, if he's not staying at Buckingham Palace, where will he stay? Now when I was in London just a couple weeks ago hand hit, I stayed at the London Langghham, which is very beautiful. Very l. whereere would Harry stay? The Dorchester is a hotel that they really like in Britain. There are many really fancy hotels. There are five star hotels in Britain is a capital of the world. It's like coming to New York. If you've got the money You can stay at the Carlisle, you can stay at the markark. You and I we're not staying their mistate. I'm not paying five thousand dollars a night seventy five thousand dollars night at the markark. There are really. There are fabulous hotels in London who are going to have a room tonight. It's not like there's no room in the inn. He will find a place to stay it's the optics It just looks so bad for both of them. And I don't know how the family ever gets back together. I'm going to have a story breaking on my substack today this morning And it's Meghgan was really angry about this because she sees this as disrespect. this is the son he's coming to Britain and the other people I feel bad for are the Invictus games. This whole trip was not meant to be about royal chaos, it was meant to be about the Invictus games, the wounded veterans. That's what the trip was about and now it's just turned into trip of drama It's going to be very interesting because today there's a major, major decision about Harry's case, his legal case with the Daily Mail. So we're going to find out that today. We're going to find out where he's staying today. We're going to find out is Meghan and the kids gonna to fly out later this week to be in Birmingham to kick off the Invictus games? I don't think they are So a lot of stuff is going to happen this week in the royal family and it's not about this week. It's about setting up the future They won't even let him stay at a massive house they have that nobody lives in by the way. The King ain't living there, William ain't living there. It's pretty much empty. It's like an office building. Buckingham Palace is very impressive. You saw it two weeks ago. I grew up not ran the block from Buckingham Palace. I was not that wealthy, but I grew in the same country as Buckingham Palace. to do this, to offer somebody a room and then to take it back. It's just not right. But if I offer you a room and you turn it down and then you change your mind, it just gets messy. I think this is the problem with Harry and Meghan. They're messy.hing Nothing's easy. I'm happy for the girl, but I'm having a hard time accepting that it took place at Madison Square I don't know a thousand people. I just I know I don't Ty, I don't getid. put me off for a little bit. And initially it's the press release. it's publicists and it's official people. They're the ones that talk to you. Then after a couple of days, the real people tell you the truth. It takes them a few days to build the confidence up, to think about it because they don't want to upset Taylor. they don't want to say something that's going to get them in trouble. They want to tell somebody who they can trust. So it takes a few days. Now it is what, two, three days after the wedding and I'm starting to hear the real story. I hear it was messy. I hear there was not enough seats for everybody It wasn't a sit down meal. You can't serve a thousand people. No chef in America can serve a thousand people. That's why restaurants stagger the sitts. They don't want it packed all at the same time because the kitchen gets overwhelmed and the food is terrible. Bruce and I once went to a wedding of four hundred people. It wasn't that good because it's just too many people. This was a thousand people Julia Roberts was standing on a line Looking for a bit of buffet. Steven Spielberg couldn't find a seat There's stuff now coming out about this one, the other thing they did and Vanity Fair does this for their after party. They stagger the arrivals. So the B, the Celess talent has to get there early Julia Roberts, Brad Pitt can turn up five minutes before the show. So they didn't get married until later in the evening, but their guests, some of their guests had to arrive at two three thirty and just sit around. There were no seats. You had your cell phone taken off your. So you couldn't even play on your phone. M and you when I go to Botinoos and you're ten minutes late or I'm ten minutes late. We play on our phones for twenty minutes Yeah, we've got emails. I can keep myself busy for really two hours. I can. I listen to podcasts, I listen to my music They just sit around for the big stars to turn up hours and hours without their soers. M stuff is coming out about this wedding and it is not Yeah. I mean I realize there's probably a bigger story behind this of why they chose to do it that way and you know whatever movie she's making or album that she's going to connect this to just doesn't feel extremely genuine to me. And that's fine because I'm certain and I to discuss this that this was not their marriage marriage, you know So this this This was a spectacle. This is a spect. The question is why? And I think until we get that answer, it just feels kind of. I think I got it mistake.all. They had a professional camera crew there. They had five, six cameras. It was like when we did the gossip table and you looked up and there were six people with cameras, it was a big production. This is gonna be a movie. That's what this was about. It was not about That moment it us said about Taylor and Travis together, it was about, I think I fear, monetizing it. She gonna make millions. So if this wedding cost her fifteen million, she going to make more than that in streaming. Okay, moving along. Rob Rina's final on screen moment leaves fans very emotional. So Rob Riner made a surprise appearance in Larry David's new HBO comedy It was filmed shortly before his death and they didn't want any publicity about it. So when it actually happened, people were stunned, very emotional. I think it was classic Robbert was fearless and funny and smart and maybe the perfect curtain call. Obviously we don't ever want to see a curtain drop on something this ugly, this way of going out it was just so So devastating to everybody involved. it was lovely to see him one more time doing what he does best which is make us laugh. I spoke to a friend in the family and they said He would be happy that the final period at the end of his sentence was comedy. It wasn't the tragic death. was this. And so they said, if you want to focus on something, don't focus on the crime. focus on this just very short cameo that reminded us all of why we loved him. Okay, moving along, Julia Roberts, who's actually a very, very private celebrity has done something so interesting. What is she been up to Hey, so Julia Roberts celebrating twenty four years of marriage to husband Danny Motor. She gave a rare glimpse into their relationship. We don't get this mriage., no.
