So let's jump right into the show. I hope you had a fabulous, fabulous weekend. I saw some friends. I went out for dinner. I even got to see L a Carjo fall this fabulous Broadway musical. So what I treat Billy Porter? My goodness . You can sing, okay, let's jump into the show. What time is it my friends? It is tea time story at the top of the show. So Prince Harry's UK visit is in chaos and now Meghan and the kids might stay home . So Harry is rethinking plans to bring Meghan, Archie and Princess L ilibut to Britain next month after learning that he will not receive tax funded police protection outside the royal estates . So he was part of this inner circle of royals who've got this special level layer of protection . He won't get that. In fact, let's be honest though, this shouldn't be a surprise to Harry. He didn't just suddenly learn this. He's not been pr gettingotect ion at this level for five years, over five years. When Harry and Meghan stepped down as working members of the royal family, you lose the perks. If you leave a job, you lose the credit card, you lose the company car and so Harry no longer was getting that protection. He knew about it though . Even making things more complicated here is that twenty four hours before the Sussexes blew up this trip, blew it up . Their team, their team, sent out a detailed itinerary for the trip, including where Meghan planned to go all her public appearances . Then came word, word out of the blue that Meghan and the children might not go at all. Now once again, the reason that Harry is saying Harry's team is saying that they have been denied security by ravic. Let me explain what that is. That is a government committee that looks into these cases individually and makes a decision. Harry has been trying to get this back ever since he lost it. He thinks it's his right to have this. He's had it since he was born and he wants it back. He doesn't want to do the work of the royals , but he wants this back. It is not the king that's making the decision. It is committee, a government committee. In fact, the king very little say in this and that's where things get complicated. Sources are telling me that Harry knew this, he knew this all along. He's gone to court to try and get this back . The document, the detailed itinerary of the trip, even that pointed out that they knew they were not going to get this special security detail outside the royal estates. And that's one of the reasons that the King offered Harry a royal estate. They're in a bubble. They're protected. If you're in that bubble, you get the extra layer, but the minute you leave that bubble and you go into London, you go to Birmingham, wherever you go, that extra level of security does not follow you. He does not like this. He wants it changed. Sources are telling me that he did this on purpose . That this is emotional blackmail, that by announcing the trip, by putting out the itiner ary, by getting everybody in the world to talk about it. He thought the king would intervene and get him the security he wanted. The king didn't do that. And once it became clear that it was not going to happen, it wasn't going to change . The committee has made their decision. He blew up the whole deal. Now sources are also telling me that one of the reasons this trip is not going to include Meghan, Archie and Lilibet is Meghan doesn't want to go. Meghan has horr ific stories tales, details of her time in the UK. She is triggered by it. She doesn't want to be back there. She does not like the British public. She doesn't like living in Britain, she doesn't want to go. And one of the reasons she agreed to go is she thought sources tell me that she would be welcomed back with open arms. She thought people would be in the streets with flowers cheering That has not happened. The backlash to the story that the whole family are going has not been so positive. The Brits have a really low opinion of this couple. Now they could fix this, they could try to fix it, but by messing people about it, that is not the way to do it. And let's really get to the heart of the matter here . This is the wounded warriors. This is the Invictus Games, the people that they claim to want to help are the people here that they're going to hurt the most. Think of all the charities, all the hospitals , all the volunteers who have put hours and hours and hours into planning this trip. Think of all those wounded warriors in the Invictus Games who have been looking forward to this big trip? No, it's all gone because Harry couldn't get his own way. Now I know what some people are going to say and I agree. He needs security. He's Prince Harry. But so does Taylor Swift. When she goes to Britain, she does not get this extra level of security, she hires private security . There are some amazing, amazing companies in Britain, some of the best in the world who provide amazing security. I traveled to Britain with Paris Hilton, the movie company hired her security. I have seen Madonna run through Hyde Park with private security . You can't rent the police force in Britain. If you're rich and powerful and famous, you can't rent them. Should Elon Musk be able to call up the British government and say, I'm going to be in Britain for ten days and I want Ravic, I want the committee to decide that I get an extra level of security. No it doesn't work like that. That's why celebrities, that's why politicians, that's why they have private security. Harry is now part of that world. He's not a royal. He's a celebrity by his own choice, but he didn't like it. He said, No, no, no, no, no, no, no, I want it, I deserve it, I'm entitled to it. And he really stamped his feet when he didn't get it. He knew he hadn't got it. He thought the king was going to intervene and change it. And to the king's credit, he didn't. He said, This is not my responsibility, it's not my job. I can't get involved in this. It's wrong, Harry. Harry didn't like that. Harry doesn't like to be told no, does he? He doesn't. Remember the time when he wanted to have a beard at his wedding and wear his full military uniform? Not allowed. You can't wear a military uniform and be have aard. You just can't do it. You have to be clean shaven and it goes back to World War one when soldiers couldn't get the gas mask on their face if they had facial hair. So this is just the military rule. Now the rule might be stupid. I think it might be. However, it's still a rule and anybody else in the service would have been told no. Harry wanted an exception and get it. He got one. He went all the way up to the Queen. The Queen of England, the sovereign, is having to weigh it on facial hair because her grandson Harry has a fit. Well, he had a fit here and now it looks like he's going to be going to Britain without Meghan, without his children. What a position to put his father in. I feel terrible for King Charles here, but I really, really, really feel terrible for all those wounded soldiers, all those charity workers , all those people who have donated their time, those volunteers who are really looking forward to this and now not going to go because he couldn't get his own way. Once again, security is important. He's one of the most famous people in the world. But we should point out, he's in Europe right now on vacation with his kids and Meghan and they do not have extra security their private security. In California , not more dangerous than Britain. We're not talking about a country here, Britain that is terribly dangerous. He's been to war zones without this extra level of royal secur . So why can't it be in Britain nobody? Nobody wants anything bad to happen to Harry and the children, even the critics of this family, they do not want anything happen, happen, bad , bad. They don't want that, but he is very controversial. He is very, very famous . He should have security, but he should pay for it. Also too, I spoke to my dad is a policeman. I spoke to my family members, people in the police force, they will protect Harry. They will make sure Harry is okay . And so this one is just so mysterious . I don't buy it. I think something else is going on here. I think Meghan realized that if she went on this trip , she's not going to get the response she wanted. And Harry realised too that this trip might have all been a ruse to get his dad to get him back this level of security but the dad has no right to give, which brings us to our poll question of the day Harry will not bring Meghan and the children now to the UK after learning he said that he won't receive taxpayer funded police protection outside the royal estates which he knew he,'s not at it for five years. It's not like they just decided yesterday. Oh, no more royal protection. No, you've not had it for five years. When you planned this trip you didn't have it. So what do you think? Is it an excuse or a valid concern . Could be a valid concern. They are very famous, very controversial . They certainly need security, but should the taxpayer pay for it? Should the taxpayer who Harry has spoken about a lot in his book Spare. Meghan talked about the British public in her big interview with Oprah. Should they pay for this? Or should the Royal couple? Okay we have a lot of Taylor Swift wedding news so the guests are growing frustrated. So Travis and Taylor are getting married in just a few days and everybody is still guessing, including their own wedding guests. Invitees have only been told to be in New York City on july second and third. They don't know where the ceremony is , in fact, they barely know anything . The extreme security it's designed to prevent leaks. It's testing everybody's patience. One source told me understand why Taylor and Travis are being so careful. But this has become a logistical nightmare. Guests have cleared their schedules and booked their travel and now they just sit in waiting for instructions . This is not a Middle East peace deal, it's a wedding . I don't get this crazy crazy label of secrecy. One person told me it's almost as if they don't trust us too by not telling the guests where the wedding is. Are they sort of implying that we would leak it to the press? A lot of people are getting salted by this and adding to the tension. Taylor just got booed. I know . So she did a pre recorded video honoring country legend Allen Jackson during his farewell concert in Nashville, Alan is a retiring farewell concert , a legend. Taylor recorded a message and it was on the big video screens to the crowd. Many in the crowd applauded, but there was a lot of booze too. Are people getting over Taylor Swift? Has she jumped the shark ? Is she becoming town deaf? If she shuts down the streets around Madison Square Gardens. Pe areople not going to like that. It is one of the busiest trade stations in the world below the garden. It is the fourth of July weekend, one of the most heavily travelled traffic days of the year and now she's closing down streets. It's starting to feel like Jeff Bezos, isn't it? When he went to Venice and closed down that city, New York is not to rent to billionaires. One insider told me one very angry New Yorker said to me The garden's not big enough for Taylor Swift, Nazia has to take over the streets too. No, leave us alone and go up the ramp, go into the garden, lock the door, have your fabulous wedding. But you don't need to interrupt traffic in New York City. I live quite close to the garden. It's a nightmare when presidents, when politicians are in town and they start shutting down streets. The garden, they didn't shut down the garden for big other events. So I think Taylor here is getting a little bit tone deaf. What do you think? Would you be angry if you were a wedding guest if somebody said to you? Would you like to come to my wedding? Be here at this time on this date and didn't tell you where the wedding was or what was happening? I want the details. I want to know what time the whole thing starts. What time we were meant to get there? What time is the wedding? What time is the cocktail allowed? What time is the dinner? What time is the dancing? What time can I go home? I like to plan my day. People might have children , they have commitments, everybody has a life. You can't put your life on hold for a few days because a celebrity doesn't trust you with the details. Then don't invite me. If you don't trust me to keep it a secret, don't invite me. Something's happening here, Naughties. I love Taylor Switch. You know I love her, but there's something for the first time ever. I think Taylor has misread the room. Okay, moving along, Katie Perry is heartbroken. She had to cancel a show . I hate it when they do this, especially if it's at the last minute. This was minutes before she was backstage, ready to go on and she was in hair and makeup and she had to stop her show. She had to pull the plug on her show because of severe weather. That's important and crowd safety concerns. I was at a big concert in Central Park and a thunderstorm was rolling in and they had to stop the show. It was torrential rain, but they're not frightened about the rain. It's the thunder, it's the lightning . If lightning strikes, people could die. There is a lot of metal out on that stage. There were a lot of exposed people out on the lawn waiting for that show. And Kayleigh said they gave me no choice. She was really stressed about it, but local authorities said no, there was fifty five thousand people there and the safety of those people. It has to come first. If I was in the crowd at Madonna and the show got cancelled two minutes before . I W beould pissed? Yes I would be livid. But if they told me, the other alternatives is you could be hit by lightning and potentially die. That's a pretty good reason to stop a show. So let's give Katie a little bit of grace here . One insider closest to Katie tells me quote, She was crushed. She had waited seventeen years to return here and was counting down the minutes, the minutes until she walked on stage and cancelling was the last thing she wanted to do. I hear you. Okay, quickly before we break a huge story, then I didn't think we'd get this much traction. It's number one at the moment on several different websites. Kate Goslin is bracing for her son's bombshell memoir Sir Colin has an explosive memoir coming ad. Sources say that Kate had no idea the book was coming, she didn't know it was being written and now she is bracing for the worst. Colin insists that he has evidence to support all the claims about his childhood and promises to reveal what really happened behind the scenes of that hit reality show. My sources tell me that Kate is desperately trying to get a transcript a manuscript of the book. So far , she hasn't got it. She might have to just wait like the rest of us.
