So the fancy New York Times is confirming reporting from three weeks ago. You're welcome New York Times. So finally the Times has realised that the most important stories in the world are celebrities. I'm shocked they did a big story about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey 's wedding upcoming wedding and they have confirmed our original reporting, which is a two step wedding celebration. Let me go into the details. So Taylor and Travis, they may be planning one of the biggest celebrity weddings in years , but they are making sure that the most meaningful moments happen first . So before throwing that massive Madison Square Guarden celebration. It's going to be massive. Nearly a thousand guests it holds about twenty thousand . So I think it's still going to look empty. I haven't figured that out yet. There's going to be nineteen thousand empty seats. That is something you do not see when Taylor Swift is in an arena never. It's sold out. So I don't know quite how they're going to get around that, but they're going to have about a thousand guests to the big celebration but before they're going to exchange vows in a far more int imate gathering of about a hundred closest friends and family, one hundred people have been invited to the wedding, a thousand to the celebration. It is a two day extravaganza. It is starting as a wedding. They're going to get legally married with their friends, with their family, if they're really close friends, with their family members. And then the next night , a massive affair at Madison Square Garden. I'm not sure why she's not opening it up to her fans. Those empty seats, that doesn't sound great, does it? But at the moment, all the reports are it's just a thousand lucky people who have been invited. Now the New York Times claims that that private intimate gathering , that wedding for just a hundred people , that is also going to take place at Madison Square Garden A hundred people in Madison Square Garden is going to look awful . It's going to look like a pop star's worst nightmares , which is why I am not totally convinced yet that this is going to happen there. My sources tell me I don't know anybody that is being invited to the hundred person wedding that's very, very small, really close friends who would not talk to me, family members who are not talking to me either, but a thousand guests the next night that's when you find out some gossip. They don't know yet. They think it's Madison Square Garden, but they don't know about it. In fact, one of Travis' friends, George Kilti, I think that's his name. I don't know the NFL, but he is a football player. He joked to Kelsey Saying So it's going to take place at the garden and Travis just laughed. He didn't answer him. He said he's half expecting to get to the garden and suddenly be whisked away on private planes. They've got that much money. She's a billionaire, maybe two billion. He has about a hundred million. So they can get private planes. So maybe the garden is a meeting place. The reason we don't know, it's not that we're good reporters. Nobody knows this is because the guests do not know. Now we're looking at all the evidence, all the signs and they all point towards the garden. We know now that certain permits have been taken out around the garden to shut some streets down. I have a story on my substack today about this saying people are actually not that happy about it. Is the garden not big enough for you to you also have to take over the streets? Is that what's going on here? It's so curious, isn't it? People are telling me they're starting to get Jeff Bezos vibes. Vibes like Jeff Bezos. Remember when he took over Venice and the locals were furious saying V,enice isn't yours to rent. Well, that's how I feel about New York City. It's not yours. You can rent the garden, but the sidewalk belongs to the people and it's the fourth of July weekend. Below the garden is a major train station, a major transit hub. Are they going to shut down that too? They can't. They can't on one of the busiest traffic days, travel days in the world, in the country, in the year. They just it's so bizarre this is. Normally Taylor Swift has her finger on the pulse . Normally Taylor Swift knows what the public reaction's going to be. And I think she's I think she's made a mistake here. This feels like let the meat cake. This feels like, you know what? Let them do care say whatever they want because I want the biggest wedding of the year. And if I've got to inconvenience people on the fourth of July weekend , so be it I don't care. That's not very Taylor, is it? Something's going on here, my friends, which brings us to our poll question of the day. Travis and Taylor are having a two day celebration. Do you think it's tone deaf? Is this too much? We're struggling, aren't we? Prices are more expensive than ever . I read that inflation's the highest it's been in three, four years . We know that. Prices are through the roof. My friends are struggling. I have friends who are really, really struggling right now, struggling to pay their rent, struggling to even get to work because the gas prices are so high and while all this is going on while we're all suffering and we are we're all suffering . Wh allile this is going on, Taylor's going to spend millions , millions on a showcase, on a lavish, on an over the top wedding, and not only that, potentially closing down streets in New York. New Yorkers hate that. We do. We rush around the city. We use every inch of this city. We do not. We do not want to be inconvenience because another billionaire wants to throw themselves a celebration. It is so Jeff Bezos. I love Taylor. You know that. I've always defended Taylor. I absolutely adore her. There's nobody better alive than Taylor Swift. I was lucky enough to see her concert here in New York and I'm a real big fan, but you know, you can make mistakes. I think this is a misstep. I think that if this wedding goes ahead on the second and the third and she shuts down streets around the garden and she interrupts traffic, it's a grid in New York. It's a grid. If you shut down two streets, you're going to mess up the whole grid. If she does this , I will be surprised, but what do you think? Is this tone deaf? Hey go vote. Lionel Richard, we touched on this yesterday. I told you on yesterday show that Lionel collapsed in concert. He fell ill during a concert. Now we know he was rushed to hospital. We didn't know that yesterday. So Lionel has sparked a real concern here after becoming dizzier during a concert and forcing him, forcing him to cut his show short being taken to hospital in an ambulance as a precaution. He's seventy seven years old, he is a legend. He had to sit down several times during dancing on the ceiling one of his biggest songs before telling fans he wasn't feeling well. He performed one more song after that at the piano he was sitting down and then announced there was going to be an intermission which was unscheduled. He never came back. The concert was cancelled. Fans are disappointed but they're wishing him the best here. His team will not give us any update. That's always suspic ious. If it's as simple as they have a cold or a sinus infection, they tell you it's when it's more complicated that they don't give a reason to this, but we shouldn't have best. Big debate, isn't it? If these celebrities in their seventies and their eighties can sell out concerts share. Barbara Streisen, Billy, Joel, Bruce Springs in Lionel Richard. They're the best, aren't they? Just the best in the world. Madonna now is in her late sixties. I saw her recently. If they can sell out tickets, if we still want to buy tickets, then shouldn't they do the show? If they want the money, they want the fame, they want everybody adoring them , then should they stop doing it because the show's not very good or should they do it and let us not buy tickets? I gotta admit, Madonna wasn't so great. She was a bit wobbly. She never really sang that great . She doesn't dance anymore and I get that. I can't barely dance down. I'm in my fifties. And so Madonna was not really a great show, but it didn't matter. I loved it. I loved every minute of it because it wasn't about Madonna . It was about me. She makes me feel like I'm a twelve, thirteen year old boy in Birmingham , England dancing around my bedroom in my underwear sink into a hairbrush. She makes me feel young again , even though she didn't look young at the concert. She looked great, but she doesn't look twenty anymore. She doesn't look thirty anymore , didn't matter. Made me feel like a child, made me feel like a teenager. I figured out that night this show's not about Madonna, it's about how she makes me feel and she makes me feel great . In which case, I'm happy to give her my money, even though I know the show is no longer as good as it used to be. Lynon we're sending you our best. Okay, moving along Dua Leepa, I love that name. Fans are rallying around her after her husband's ex Callum Turner's ex really tried to stir up some drama. It's so fresh of the fairy tale wedding. Social media is buzzing buzzing buzzing about comments from one of the actors former flames. Her name's Victoria. We're not going to give you her full name because she wants some publicity here and we're not playing into that, but she did put up something that's very interesting . She described him as somebody who ever wanted to date someone famous only to end up engaged to a global superstar. Now while some people can have sympathy with Victoria, it's difficult isn't it? Seeing an ex move on and seeing an ex move on to someone like Duolippa. That's a lot. A lot of people do it too are defending the newlyweds, arguing that people change and you never know who you are going to meet. I never thought I would marry an American. I did. I life changes. You have different expectations. Maybe not wanting to date someone famous is great. Maybe he still doesn't, but then he fell in love. That's what love does, doesn't it? Knocks you off your feet. Makes you readdress stuff. I'm a big believer that we should change. That's growth. That is humanity, that is being an adult. Change . That is what really being a grown up is to me, knowing that I was wrong, changing my opinion , learning how to process stuff. You don't have to hold onto the same values and feelings that you had when you were a teenager. You shouldn't. You should grow. In fact, if you've got the same views today as you had twenty years ag o, something's not going so good with you . And so I think here that holding up the comments, she did it to be spiteful. Let's be clear here. She's obviously angry, she's obviously in pain, she might still have feelings towards him. And so she wanted to be a bit spiteful and she reminded everybody he would never date a celebrity and look at him now. I think this is interesting too . When you call somebody names, you never make them look bad, you just look bad yourself. If you call me fat, it doesn't make you thin. No, absolutely not. Makes you a fool. That's what he does. So be careful the next time you want to say something bad about somebody, you're not going to change my mind. You're not. All you're going to do is make me think less of you. I don't talk about people in a negative way. I try so hard not to I certainly don't for my friends. Obviously because of what I do for a living, I'm a reporter, I report the facts, but if I say mean nasty stuff, if I use nicknames, it never m akes anybody look smaller. It makes me look and be much smaller. Okay, this is wild. Michael Jackson's legacy is continuing to grow seventeen years, one, seven years after his death. So seventeen years after his death, Michael Jackson remains one of the biggest forces in music. Proving that a true icon never fades away. I get it. I know he's controversial, but he just sold mainly because of his block buster biop ic Michael, the King of Pop just sold about five million albums in twenty twenty six. That's a combination of physical sales, download, streaming, five million album s seventeen years after his death. Any pop star at the peak of their fame would absolutely love to sell that many albums. Now despite years of controversy, we have to be clear here and legal battles surround ing his legacy . The hits, you still want to listen to them. I'm really conflicted about this. I'm not a fan of Michael Jackson the person, not at all, but I love the music. I love it. I say to Bruce when we go out, to we a go wedding and they play and get Can I dance? Is it weird to dance to Michael Jackson? It's okay for me to play him in the living room or when I'm going on a long walk in by earphones so nobody else can hear. But would you dance to Michael Jackson in public the songs He might be a dreadful person, but that album thriller is one of the best albums of all time. I put it on, I dare you, I dare you to not tap your foot, not dance . Can you love someone's art and not love them? That's a big one. Isn't it okay? Quickly before we get a break. She's strolling through a garden, carrying a basket of fruit and then she pauses for a cup of tea and then followers get another glimpse into idyllic world that she's trying to sell . Very strange . Now the timing has her raised eyebrows and a few weeks she's off to Britain so maybe she's trying to use this moment to market her brand which is not really doing very well. I don't know if it's clever brand marketing or if this is not very clever at all. Anything that leaves an audience puzzled isn't good. I believe in being clear. Be clear. When I'm writing my books, I say to my editor all the time if they have questions, am I clear? Be clear. I don't want people to be confused. There is nothing wrong with being clear. In fact, it's a really, really good quality. And so Meghan here, have a look at the ad. Very strange. I think because what she has been doing with the children and herself and Harry it's not been working. No one's buying the jam. So now if she can sell a lifestyle like Ralph Lauren does, Ralph Lauren often doesn't put the clothes in his ads.
