I'm talking about next season two. They might just be the best team to ever play playoff basketball. It this point. it's like it's crazy and they did get off to a slow start too, but it doesn't matter. Yeah It was I mean the first half, you're like, Ohh, man, this might be, you know, Jayen Brunson has his knee banged into, which we'll talk about in a second. He goes to the lock room. You're like, Ohh man, they might be not be ready for the moment. They're down at half And I guess fourteen in the third. Guess what And not not to do a LeBron here, but The minute the Nicks cut it down going into the fourth quarter, I we were actually watching the game. Some of us were watching the game together. I was like It' Jill Bronsson And it was. He wasn't the most efficient. He took thirty one shots. But he is a stone cold killer in the fourth quarter And the Spurs had no answer for him. And it was anything he wanted he got. And it was also the Nick defense was incredible. Kat was I mean, that was maybe I know it wasn't like that he didnt, I don't think he had a three But in terms of just like best game overall maybe best playoff game because he was so good defensively. He was getting tough baskets Josh Hart has never seen a rebound. He doesn't think he can get. I was going to say actually like Kat had a great game from the opening tip. He won the opening t think the first guy to get to do that against Wimby. Y. But I would say the guy that had the best all around game for the Kicks was Josh Hart. It and he's great score. He had like no points He's a second player in the history of the NBA to get fifteen rebounds, six assists and four steals in a finals game And I believe he's the shortest player since Elgin Baylor In nineteen seventy to record fifteen rebounds in a Fount's game. The Kicks were outscored by seventeen. with heart on the bench's crazy Heart like I've never seen a guy contribute so much to a game without scoring. That's just who he is saw Josh Hart likeine. He was like he was so calm and like introspective and and like what he was saying you could tell he meant it and it means the world for him to be playing in NBA finals. He was talking about how like this is a moment he thought about ever since he was a little kid and now he's grown up and it feels just like he thought it would and that he felt his mom's presence there. That was a really cool moment to see Kat like that after such a great performance. And then at one point he was like, you know what I'm just really proud of the defensive effort that I put out there. Yeah There's other stuff I have to correct, but I'm proud of the defense that I played tonight. This is Kat saying all this. likeike Kat has been maligned throughout his career. sometometimes for not really trying on defense He tries to just maybe just Fowls and you know, doesnn't move his feet? He is he's just every Every time like fourth quarter He's just insane. He's Jam Brun is average eight point two points per game in the fourth quarter and OT in playoffs with the Nicks On person in play by play error to average more is MJ with nine point three points per game in the fourth quarter overtime. So It's He's just he's on a different level right now. I know For the Spurs, if you were looking for, hey, how how like is the series over Um, Wendby's going to play better You'd assume. Yeah, he didn't play well at all. I think he'll figure it out. Yeah. I also think they aren't going to shoot as bad as they shot. I saw a stat. I think it was they were one for thirteen in shooting when or one for fourteen with Brunson as the primary defender. You just imagine that the shooting would get a little bit better The thing that I would be nervous about with the sppurs is like I said, they they used Cat on Weemby last night. They haven't even had to go to the OG. likeike OG feels like the The counter move if Wendby starts going off So it's like they kept a chess move ready for later in the series. Yeah. I think that also, you know, the Surs are probably tired. They're probably exhausted to a certain extent after a seven game series, which is why in the second half kind of looked a little sluggish I think they'll be Excuse me, I think they'll be okay. U in game number two, I would I would put the house on the spurs win in game two. The Nicks have not lost the game since april twenty third. I don't know if you saw this, but there were people saying that it's an unwritten rule amongst PJA players that if you're playing at in a away course, like a random country club that you you're having aroundound at and you shoot like you did on the back nine, that is bad form to set the court record there that a lot of guys will like pull up on the last couple holes or just bow out. JT for the record said that I would try to smash every course record that I can. Is that an actual unwritten rule of the PGA tour or is that guy just making stuff up? I think that guy's making it stuff up. There are some courses like Cyprus, for instance That's one of those courses, I think the course record sixty four I've been like ten under through thirteen holes there and then you kind of like hit one in the water or stop counting score or something and say, yeah, I shot sixty five so that you don't do it. But On tour screw that. I want to beat everybody I don't even care about stuff. Yeah, I I guess that's what I was getting. Obviously in a tournament, you want to set every course record that you can. But like so if you're at Cyprus, you were just saying that you would you would intentionally not get the course record there if you were playing there for fun Yeah, I mean, that place, there's a few places that you would do that, but then I mean, there's like less than four I can think of. oututside of that, you would just Yeah, you try to shoot the course record. Is an iconic place. Yeah you want to be on the you want to be on the board and everyone goes, Oh, course record shopot by window. Is that just out of respect for the course or what is it about those four places that you would pull up? Because I actually I think the same thing. like whenever I play I'm like, I don't want to That's what I'm gonna start doing. I'm not to make it about myself. Yeah. So I black out all the numbers so I don't know I also believe if a ball is hot, keep the ball hot, even if it's messed up. I just keep like the back nine. Yeah. I didn't change a ball in at the Bron Nels. even though it was torned into pieces and I was like it doesn't matter this ball knows where it's going and it's going home. Yeah That's probably one of them. And then more just like routines. I do the same routine all the time, but you know, it's nothing like I don't wash my underwear or wear my socks inside out Right. Yeahah, the routine that's more like good golf. And I saw you talking about your driver and figuring out that element of your game. If you're I'm not very good at golf, but I do like to play. I find myself when I te off, if I hit a bad te shot My next he shot. I I try to change what I just did wrong after that first one you if you like leak a couple to the right onn your first couple te shots, are you then trying to actively like correct for that? O your next shot, are you just trying to go back to zero back to what your normal everyday stock shot is. Yeah, no. I mean, for sure. If you if you slice the first two balls, you're like, okay, what am I doing? And then let's say you're thinking about it and you try something different on now the third shot And you still slice it, there comes a point where you're like, all right, I just gott to play the slice today But there's also sometimes where the front nine you hit it like crap And then you find like a good feeling or whatever. and then on the back nine you stripe it. So That's a one good thing about I'd say at this level, so many guys are able to adjust on the fly. And whether that's they fix their swing mid round or they just say screw it. I'm slicing it today. I'm going to play the slice. Yeah. Yeah, fixing it mid round. That's because you can overfix and you can go the opposite way. And now you've got a new problem to solve and then you're just in hell for at that point, you got to open up some grape at the turn and just try to like wipe the memory and move Eactly. Oh, I am the worst at that one hundred percent. I buy more training aids That's awes of Instagram or Amazon things, it's embarrassing. Like I would reach out to It just happened. I reached out to this alignment company that have these certain alignment rods with like a face thing and I reached out and said, Hey, I'd love to try this And the guy's like, oh my gosh, is this actually you? I can't believe you're want to try this. I do that stuff all the time. I just bought teas on Amazon. Like we get teas for free But I thought these certain teas would be better. So yeah, we do that stuff. Wait I love O are the teas? I want these teas. Well, they're the kind of the ones Aaron Ry uses, but they're step tees. so they only go on the ground a certain amount and they're the same every time. So for a driver, it's always teed up the same. so you're not One less variable. I like that. So that's very relatable of you because I always assume with the amount of money you guys put into your game and the coaches, you wouldn't fall for like the Instagram, you know, because once you get one of them You just end up getting all of them. I'm like, what I don't even remember buying this Well, there's one constant in golf as all of us are messed up in the head. So What you guys deal with, we deal with is' just at a different level. So yeah, we see something that we think might help. I'm one hundred percent trying it. Yeah. And you said that you've been you're an equipment free agent. And you said it's like a girlfriend and you've been dating a lot, but with golf clubs So what what's that like? Is that fun being out there or is it like kind of scary Well, it's just like when you first become single, it's a lot of fun And then after a while, you're like, man, I miss having my constant, you know G, great person, always there for you. So now I'm in that like I'm honed in. I like where I'm at, where're at home base. But for a while, yeah, it's fun to date around and see what's going on. Did you have like a rebound club, like a wild one that you just want to try out because it just looked like it'd be fun Oh yeah. I mean, I tried every driver under the sun. Ive tried every putter multiple, multiple things. I would I'd even No, I was using this certain club and then on like the Monday, Tuesday, I'd go flirt around with some other putters and then come back to home base, you know? So it's you're always kind of always kind of looking and seeing what's out there. Okay, along those lines, this is also a dumb question, but you have a girlfriend and you hard launched your relationship. Is that something you talk about before like, hey, are we going to hard launch orr is it just? Hey, you idiots, like we've been seeing each other and we finally posted a picture. So There was definitely some good things and some backlash and so but You know, we' we were such a new relationship and it went so fast that everyone was like, what? And so she's freaking out, like practicing beforehand And we get on the first te because she's never really watched. she's not a golfer. She's never watched it So get on the first te and I'm like, okay, your turn to hit and like, you know, it's just lined with fans. And she goes, no, I'm not hitting I'm going to kill somebody. And then Gary Woodlland and Keegan are like, No, Emily, it's your turn. You' got to go hit And she totally bought it. She's like, I'm not doing this And you know, obviously then we told her you hit on the ninth hole, but it was u It was a fun day, but yeah, she she was freaking out because she thought she wass going to One have a hard launch and then two be on like not top ten by killing somebody. Yeah it is it because we always talk about like different eras when it comes to sports like I feel like this is the best time to be a golfer. Glfers are cool Like, you know, twenty years ago, Tiger was cool, but the other guys he was playing against weren't necessarily cool. But right now it feels like golfers are cool and got some swag I mean, I think so what do what do you think? am I kind of cool or? Yeah, well, except for the Grape thing. Except for the greatpe thing. Yeah. That was when we were like, I don't know about this guy. But other than that, you were you're cool Okay, thank you. Yeah. Golf is c. I will say it's COVID helped and then obviously now guys like Steph Curry and LeBron James and O like artists and rappers and celebrities are all doing it and everyone's like, Oh, maybe gol school. I think was at the PJA Championship They brought the gallery like really close on one of your shots and you almost took somebody out, like it looked pretty dangerous for them. I've always wondered about that like Do they just, what is it about golf galleries that make them think that they're invincible to golf balls. likeike they stand so close sometimes to where you're going to hit Yeah, Oh's it's it's insane. Now I will say like in that instance, I had a lie that was, I don't think the people realized how bad it was I mean, the ball went dead left. I've never hit a wedge dead left. And it was terrifying because People were seven eight feet for me and it could have taken someone's head off the craziest thing with us, we don't hit too many shanks and miss miss off cline, but when we're on the programs People will treat the ameters we're playing with as if we're our pros and they'll be like make a tunnel and I go, this guy literally has a fifteen handicap. You don't know what he's going to do. But yeah, I don't know. they just think we never miss, which is te fally we miss all time. Yeah Yeah. Can I play a little game with you real quick? Yeah. Everyone's had a bad moment I mean, you pieced up that locker I mean, what I did was wrong and I want to preface it with that. but you know, if if people are goodness to say golfers or athletes, well other athletes do that in other sports too. and that's you know, I'm not saying it's a good thing, but the emotions get to us in our sport just as much as other ones. It was unfortunate that I did it and then it was leaked and all that stuff. but You know, it's The emotions, I don't know. I like to think that you know, we care. We we do this is our livelihood and I was frustrated and you know, made a dumb decision, but at the same time, it's like I care and I wanted to do well and I didn't and You know, we're in the limelight in golf. you can't show emotion or that's kind of the stigma And so I try to do it behind closed doors and obviously it resulted in a terrible thing. Listen, if you do it again, here's a little tip, just show up to your next press conference with like a neck brace and be like, yeah, the locker fought back. Like, you And then everyone'll be like, all right, I guess he learned lesson. I should have done that actually. That's smart. Yeah Yeah. it's like in a weird way, it's almost a sign of respect for the course. Like the course kicked my ass so hard. Yeah that I had no choice but to physically fight it at the end. Yes, exactly. also do the parking lot course. Yeah Yeah Yeah. Yeah. Maybe next time instead of hitting locker, I'll like punch the bunker or something, you know. Yeah But but seriously, I like would have happened O obviously, you're embarrassed and you apologize, but like This is sports and also like when we talk about sports and cover sports, people showing their human side makes it better in terms of the long run where it's like, yeah, this guy is a regular guy. We all make no one's perfect. I don't want the perfect athlete. I want the athlete who can be like, yes, some days I have bad days, S days I have great days because the bad days make the great days even better Oh, one hundred percent and I appreciate you saying that because Yeah, last year was terrible and what I did was terrible and it was just all in all a bad year. But then I get kind of the redemption and win and You know, Hard launch with my girlfriend. Y. have I'm a free agent with clubs and now I w a tournament things, you know, things turn for the better' going good and now you've got, I mean, last year it was tough the Oakmont setup was u It was rough for a lot of golfers. And then this year, you've got Shinaccock for the US open It feels like they're like This course is going to be out for blood. Have you taken mental reps of like losing a ball in Three inches of just dense ass rough. That's one foot off the fairway. likeike have you thought about how to handle promises to be a really infuriating courts that you're going to deal with Yeah, I've instead of hitting lockers, I've Wored on going to my car, getting in the car, turning on the keys and driving away. Nice That's what I've worked on. Nice. That's good. Do you need any tips? I shot a seventy two at Chinica Oh did No way, Really? Well, no, I found this hack for golf. You should try it. You can shoot whatever you want. You just need a score card and a pencil Oh yeah, so you have a good eraser? Yeah. No, I didn'd even erase. I just I just wrote down what I wanted. I thought I should have a five there, so I'm just could write a five. Yeah. No I actually like I think I quit on like seven of the holes and just would just put, you know, par and then At the end I added it all up and I had a seventy two. It's pretty nice. You count the strokes you took. So if you took four shots and then you picked it up, that's a four. Have youish I wish we could do that on tour. Yeah That'd be nice. It a little fifty. I' shoot fifty nine or sixty every time. Do do do you have a history with this course? likeike what has your game been like a Chinicot U I've never played a tournent there. I went played actually the Sunday before Byron Nelson Um, the golf courses Very good, very tough. Yeah, I mean, it's going to be like you said, a blood bath in a different way than Oakmotont. Oakmot was kind of high rough And u you know, really penal bunkers and really long. this course is maybe not as long But the greens are like crazy epic and you could hit it to twelve feet and you think, wow, what a shot and guys might three put because there of so much slope. It's it's going to be Definitely test people mentally for sure. Is Is that a sneaky awesome part of being a professional golfer that you can play anywhere? Like you just have to call and and you can play are there any places? You don't have to name names because we want to put them on blast but are like sorry, we know you're you know, a U S. open champion, but we're not going to let you play Yeah. I mean, definitely one of the best perks of being a pro is you can play esssentially anywhere That is yeah, for sure, the handwritten greatest thing. There let me think. there are some places that I'd have to play with a member where they're like, we can't just have you come out and play. But then typically if they when they ask members like, oh so and so PJ tour player wants to come out. meembers are like, yeah, I'd love to play with them. Right. So there really isn't a place we can't go, which is pretty cool. That's awesome. What are you thinking for this US openp? What does success look like For me, it would be a lot of fairways and staying below the hole Um at Chen o'Cock in I tell you what, if I if I have a chance to win on the back nine, that'd be successful for me Just be in contention. just There's nothing better than being in contention, especially at a major championship And just being in those moments, you feel the intensity of the fans. cameras, everyone's watching And there's just nothing like it. It's so much fun. The adrenaline rush and att that point, it's like you against your mind and being able to pull off the shots when you need to. Yeah. I read that you've got a new Caddy, but this is more about your former Caddy. I believe our friend Max Homa has picked him up Did didid Max call you? likeike is that a reference thing where it's like, hey, what do you think about this guy? And then and then what do you tell him No, I actually I had no idea. I mean, I found out Kind of when everyone else found out Um But you know, when John and I seepar, you know, went separate ways I just said, hey, I hope you get the best back possible. Like there's no hard feelings if you're going to work with someone right away or if it's in six months or if it's never. and So I'm happy for him. I mean, Max is one of my buddies. Obviously John's one of my closest friends, so I hope they have success. Do you is it like being in a relationship where like every now and then late at night, you'll like scroll Max's Instagram pictures and just be like, oh, That they look happy. Yeah, he looks like he's doing okay. Well, they haven't started yet. Okay. hadn't started. H haven't hard lun yet. Yeah. They haven't hard lunch yet. But what I will say, John Catdy for Tony for like four weeks. And the first week we played where he was Catdy and I was playing in the event, I saw John over there and it was kind of like, o, dang. you Yeah Man, he looks good. Yeah Yeah lost way. Yeah. I miss that guy. Yeah Like, I don't know if it's if Max broke the code, a call would have been nice, maybe, right? Like heads up is it cool if I like we seem to hit it off. Yeah. Yeah. What about the team aspect? was there a live team that you found yourself like more gravitated towards? likeike were you a four aces guy Honestly, I would have been on Brooks' team. Brooks and I were boys Um, you know, Taylor Guchch and I went to college together. like I would have been on that team. Smash. Yeah. smmash. Yeah, we would have been smashing. Yeah. Yeah. this is a random fact that I saw about you. You you went to high school with Christian McCaffy, you played on the same basketball team for a couple of years. Yeah. so his brother and I were on the team together and then we played against each other growing up We, um The way it worked in high school is we weren't When I quit basketball, he was a freshman. Okay. We didn't actually play physically on the same team. but we had all the same friends, his brothers, one of my good buddies and which Max. Okay.. So so when you were in high school and he was coming up was everyone like this kid is just ins. I mean, obviously his dad, everyone knows, but still like He seems like a guy who is just a freak athlete from like five years on Yeah, so I didn't play football past grade and my dad never let me play tackle. So I never really played against Christian. but in basketball, I remember We had halftime and like we came I came out early and was just grabbing something and I sat on the bench to wait for some of the other guys And I remember they let the kid, you know in high school basketball, they let the kids come out and like shoot the hoo during haltime. And Christian in like seventh or eighth grade was dunking her stunking to basketball. and I'm like, o my God, you know, who is this kid? Yeah. So and I knew You know, I knew him at the, but I was like, holy smokes And then, you know, then as I was a junior senior and Christian was actually playing I mean, he was the fastest most physical guy in the court, whether he was a freshman or senior. And you could just tell everyone knew they're like Holy smokes, that guy's different. Yeah what about Luke McCaffrey? Were there any stories about Luke growing up? likeike, Hey, this guy might even be better athlete than Christian Well, Luke was so young, like I mean, Luke was when I was sixteen, Luke was nine or eight. So we couldn't quite tell, but If you were to ask anyone kind of in the family C Mac and and Luke were kind of the two best best athletes for sure. Yeah, yeah. Zach, do you have any questions for Winnham? How doingam? I did have a quicklf question that was cool to you you know, to maybe try to simplify the game for guys who don't have hardware like yourself If you were told like at your next major, look listen, gentlemen, only one club out the bag for the rest of the tournament. what are we reaching to for Like what's to go to? I mean, everyone kind of always says a seminar in one club. Yeah. I mean, you can hook a seminar and you can hit soft. Yeah, I mean, a seminar. it's like the easiest club to hit and you can do a lot with it. Yeah Good questions. I can you get a follow up Yeah, a quick one for you Oh When you're this good at golf, arere you still able to go out and kind of play with old friends or is the skill gap just kind of unmanageable? Like it just doesn't make sense logistically. Are you still going out there? I know it's your job. But are we shooting around with the boys or is that not really something that makes sense? Oh no. I mean the greatest thing about golf is the handicap system. So I can go play with my boys that shoot in the eighties, but then they get enough strokes where it's really competitive. So I play with the boys all the time. My guys at Whis Brock I just played with them all leading up to this event Thunder Dame Marley always plays with us. and other pros and it's a blast. I mean, we set the strokes We go out, we play and I don't win every time. they'll beat me sometimes. So it's it's a lot of fun. That's a great thing about golf. What's the worst golfer you've played with in the last like three years? Would you play with like one hundred and ten guy O, I mean that's that's tough. I I'm not going to name The athlete, but their agent reached out to my agent and was like, Hey, would you want to play a son so And I was like, sick, I actually really like that guy. He's a great athlete. you know, is he into golf? I'm like, oh, he just picked it up And I said, I think I'm going to have to pass. because It's just tough. There's a certain level I would say abbove a hundred, it can just kind of be tough because you're like always looking for golf balls and I don't know. I mean I know that might sound bad, but it just We do it so much that you're like, do I really want to be looking for balls all day? So would you say like when Devin Booker hit you back up in a couple years, would you then play with him? It wasn't Devin Booker It wasn't Dein Booker. good guess. But you weren't you weren't like wondering to yourself, maybe Lebron will tell me if he's going to retire or not. You guys are just trying this. I'm not going to say who it is. I'm not going to say it is. Well we're gonna might it He might be a wide receiver. Oh I'm not gonna to say Pukinakkua Oh, I not gonna say Barbarin Heerson Jr. Why wouldn't you play with him Ilele the fifth Like Cooper Cup, I know he's thinking about retiring soon too, but he's got a decent amount of time on. It' the off season? Interesting It's not Adam Feling because Adam Felland's really good. is really good. Yeah. Yeahah. we've had him on a couple times. He's very good. The I have a real question for you. So, you know, you guys make golf, you know, when we're watching, it's so fun to watch, but you also make it look easy because you're so, so good Coming up and going to Q school and all that stuff. W there a moment that you were like, I don't know if I can do this. likeike I because it is the hardest game And I'm always curious about guys who reached the highest level. if there was a crossroads moment where you're like, I think I might be done I will say I was I was almost naive and it was like ignorance is bliss. I got through Q school and my first year on Cornferry or it was Webb at the time. got through with like a breeze And then I got to the PJ tour, had a pretty good first year and then I had kind of a sophomore slump, if you will And it was like, holy shit, if I go back down Like I don't know if I'll ever get back up because you almost don't realize how difficult it is when you just get through it that easily. And that was kind of that moment like I never want to go back down right. And you know, there's great players that it took them three, four, five, six years to finally get their card. And then when they finally got it, they were worldld beers And I'm like, I do not want to go back. So that was kind of my moment Um that I, you know, I didn't want to go back to the to the miners. Yeah. Have you ever had the S word shange. ye, have you had, but like the disease? I don't want to say it. No, I've never had the disease. I kind of live on the toe U And so because of that, I don't hit I actually hit a shink today I was pretty funny on the range and I laughed You laugh it off and then you moveved on. But you've never had like a time where you've shown up and you're just like, I just don't have it today. I just can't hit a ball solid No, I've never had that That mean knock on wood hopefully hopefully I don't never have it, but the Yips. I hope I never have. You donon't think about that next time you' out on the range. I tried not thanks for bringing it up. I tried not to say it. It's pretty awesome that you're so good at golf that you hit a shank and then you laughed. Yeah. L how What else you going to do You're gonna get mad and then, you know, you just like You know, Push it away and go out, whatever it didn't even happen. Yeahah So so going to you went to Oklahoma state, right Yeah. what was in Oregon? What's what about Oklahoma state that makes like a lot of good golfers want to play golf in Oklahoma I mean, honestly, I have no idea. It started a long time ago with Coach Holder where he just created this atmosphere of Hey, this is a golf school and they were one of the first schools with their own golf course, the best facilities And then it just kept breeding great golfers and now it's I mean, it's the school to go to for golf. They win championships kind of every five to seven years. I kind of went alsoso because of the coach at the time. Coach Mike McGraw' one of the best coaches. now and Bratton's there. And so I just think the combination of the history the facilities and then the fact that they're going to do anything they can to win in golf and golf there has been cool for a long time. You know, like it was a big deal that you werere on the golf team Conversely, like other schools you'd like, o We have a golf team, you know? And so it was cool there. Yeah and plus you get all the merch with with Pete as a golfer. I like how they have Pete playing all the different sports at Oklahoma state. They started P swing and Pete Swing and Pete was the was the first, they were the first ones to do that for golf. Now everyone kind of has like Alabama has a swinging elephant and You know, everyone has something, but Pistol Pete, swwing Pete was the first one. Yeah. So I saw that you're thinking about launching a mental health app How does that work Can we do it for podcasting Yeah, you can. So the great thing about this is it's called unlock And it's like kind of a mental performance app. So let's just say'll use me as an example. I do all the onboarding and you know, why do you want to use this app? you'd be like, okay, well, I struggle to perform under pressure and I get a little anxious in these moments and then it will It'll basically feed you into the into the procedure and stuff that they want you to do through AI. That'sool mental health aspect, I mean, it is, it's cool that we're in a time, especially in pros sports Guys feel open talking about it because it is such a huge part of the game, especially golf. like I don't under you guys are mental warriors. I don't understand how you're able to keep that focus shot in, shot out U, when the pressures just gets so high Yeah. I mean, it is it's truly the toughest game mentally. you know, other ones, you almost don't have time to Think about it, like in basketball, you miss a shot Now you got to get back on defense. Well in golf, you have two three, four minutes before you hit another shot. and you're just in your head. you know, like mad or distracted or whatever it is and you got to be able to come back to to ground zero and then you can't show motion And so then it just makes it even tougher. So it's it's definitely tough mentalally. That would be funny if your mental health app did have like a like when it takes in all your data And every now and then it spits out being like, you got to break a locker. Like this is the only way that you're going to feel better. I'll put that in the suggestion box. I don't know how can go. Yeah, it's like once once every few years. likeike it can't you can't get to that level like easily, but every now and then it' be like, hey We've prescribed you one locker Here's where you can go. I look like I got surgery. I feel like I surgery there. I feel like I have like when girls get like lip fillers, like that's what's going on. It just came out of four hours of getting head with four hours of oral. That's what it sounded like Jeez, it is Okay I mean, my question is just I would love to know more about the lower body. and the importance of the lower body, how you use it, when you really learn to unlock it and like how much is that something you think about when you're training day in and day out? Like of all the, you know, different parts of a swing How important is the lower body? Well I will say it doesn't take me four hours to get the lower body loosened up But you know what? the biggest thing is a lot of stretching, a lot of work in the gym. And then the sequencing of the golf swing is very important. And if you can kind of lead with the lower body that typically helps you hit farther This is the kind of operation we run here Windham where we got be professional. Who' the test this for hours getting on the mic. I love it. Act actually a great question. That was a great question. Tell me about what was. What's that lower body do? I also have another question you. because this is a huge problem for me and probably most amateur golfers is like If I make a P, let alone a birdie, like my mind goes a million different ways. I'm thinking like this is going be the best run in my life. You just had a round where you shot sixty How do you balance like staying on the gas of like Realizing you're on fire but also not getting ahead of yourself so that you can stay on fire. because like if I made two birdies in a row That's it. L I'm probably booging the next four. Well, we do the same thing in golf in that round that I was shooting multiple times You know, I'm thinking about winning. I'm thinking about opening up some grape. I'm thinking about what if I screw up What if I, you know I look at the leaderboard and I hit a bad shot. like our minds do the same thing. What you train is then to come back to the present and do your process. So the best thing for you is whatever it is at any level, come up with a process that helps you hit good golf shots So like for me, I make sure I go through Get the yards correct. I'm one hundred percent committed to the club, whether it's the right club or not And then I have an intermediate target that I aim to. and then I just focus on that and try to start it over that target. and then you look up and you're like, oh wow, it's still really good. And you do the same thing with the put. And you might make five birdies in a row, but you don't even know because you're so focused on the process Um well w this has been awesome man. We really appreciate it.
