The defense one defense witness was completely turned around his testimony because he said all right they had heard them and what he was doing. and they said, well on the video here. That's you not close to where they're at and you actually have your back turnurn to them. so how did you? Yeah, apppparently the defense was not so good No. Not that they had what do they haveving to go on? Right exactly. And he was just It makes you wonder makes you wonder what they spent all of their fundraiser money on one hundred thousand dollars. It wasn't a defense team. No it wasice house that they moved into The nice cars because it wasn't on attorneyss, man. No, it was a public defender. And I'm not saying, you know Look, they do a great job too But every, you know, they are kind of frowned upon in the defense world. When you're facing a big cazase. Right. Yep Y. But I'm sure it's going to be appealed because the jury wasnt there was no black people. There were thereans there were Hispanics. There was just a preponderance of evidence against the guy. thirty five years sentence He will serve at least seventeen and a half of that So he's nineteen years old. Yeah. and his lawyer said, Hey, Can I take him somewhere to pull himself together And the judge, judge No. Anthony now you're in custody of the sheriff. Things move differently now. He's going to get a cry s triggered by a guilty verdict. He should have been I don't know, put in a B A little room where the emotions could be shared and dealt with and maybe we could dive back into his childhood and all those things. That didn't happen. didid not. Wow. didid not. Interesting. There was a big court TV meltdown as well, right after the verdict. Oh really. Cut twenty eight. I mean, this is I'm questioning the jury, I ask them, how did you reach your verdict? How' did you reach it so quickly What happened? It was a four inch knife. He used it one time. was he was pushed. I'm not saying that it was right, but what you what are you doing? How did you get this verdict? I'd want to know my whole identity as a defense attorney would be question right on I'm questioning my identity right now and I have nothing to do with this case. How could you How could you come back like that? I would be enraged. I'm enraged right now. This is very upsetting. And then on top of that, to compound it, this dumb judge didn't allow cameras in the courtroom. What was your wisdom? What were you thinking? How you put on a robe? Are you that much of an imfcile that you won't let camer in a case like this. This is not a rape case. This is something different This is something that's clearly the whole community is in raged. and you knew that before the trial started. And we continue to implement this phase out of animal testing And part of the process that EPA is responsible for validating these new approach methods, the alternative ways of being able to assess to research, to study without having to use animals. So this past week We announced thirteen new approach methods, having that approval from our agency, which allows us to continue that process of phasing out animal testing permanently.
