The case has a lot of people divided Some people believe that race was a factor in the trial because there were no black jurors. They were all the jur the three black jurors that were there were educators and they were released. They were. They were struck . And some folks think, no, no, he he got a fair trial. But is this a jury of his peers? Yes I think so. And you know this has been an issue for such a long time in the judicial system where Prosecutors use what are called you know, batson challenges and they they expos it per se. prosecutors And defense attorneys. Thank you. use that so sick. I'm so sick of that. Yeah. It drives me insane. It's both sides Yes can strike people from the jury If they don't likes. rightight. It's up to the other side to pick jurors they think are going to be sympathetic to what they say. And by the way, would we say there was five hundred or something like that people that they went through There were more than three black people. Absolutely there were in the jury p So, you know, and Some of the statements, we've read the statements from some of those who were obvious selections to be struck from the jury.. sayaying things like, yeah, I'd have a real hard time with putting a brother in jail Okay. well then get out we don't want you as as right Obviously that's not going to work. It's like you're trying to get off the jury pool. So he did and many gone and many are. That's right Anyway, there's more you know, bats and challenges. and they they explain what that is. It's a challenge an attorne that is used to strike a juror That sometimes generally a drawer of color No It's not generally a juror of color.. It's not like one of them was eighty pounds and the other was. you know, four hundred pounds. and yes, there was a forty pound difference. I don't think that they legitimizes stabbing him in the heart No they were both athletes. Yes. bothoth athletes There's more And the other kid was also taller than than he is Oh no. He was the only black kid under the tent And he this the victim here true had his twin brother with him. No, that isn't true. There were other black in the tent.
