It's a great trivia question. It's a great one to learn because what this is it's a three second clip and it's officially recognized as the oldest surviving motion picture in film history . The creators of Ice Age released What two thousand five animated movie with voices provided by Ewan McGregor, Halleberry, Melbrooks, and Robin Williams . Robots . Question two , acc ording to Lorele, after you do your skincare routine, put on your primer and color correction if needed, what is the first makeup that you would apply after that to even out your skin tone . Found ation . Question three . In the Simpsons episode Homer at the Bat, what does Mr. Burns repeatedly tell Don Mattingly to shave , his side burns . And your Big Bang question . Who is the only author in history to have works published in nine different Dewey decimal system categories . The author known for his sideburns who wrote Foundation in IROBOT It's Isaac Azimov . Apparently the only, one he didn't publish a book in was the one hundreds philosophy. Yeah, so the dewy dissimal system like the O's are generalities , two hundreds religion, three hundred social sciences , four hundred languages, five hundred pure sciences , six hundred applied sciences and technology, seven hundred arts, eight hundred literature, and nine hundred history and geography. So he wrote over five hundred books and I guess he wrote about a lot of different categories. Pretty amazing . And apparently he himself said I have been told by a librarian that and then that he's been published in all those different Dewidcimal categories except for philosophy which I think you could argue he could be if he wanted to because a lot of those like Irobot is philosophical foundation I think is pretty philosophical too. Yeah , he should have written a book called The Philosophy Behind I Robot and then Ten Files ten Foundation of Robots . Yeah, that was kind of a fun question . Yeah, super interesting. He was like the sci fi Bernie Sanders back in the day . You listen to interviews with him. We have a comment from listener Jesse. Hello Jes,se. Hello, Jesse. And Jessie said, listen to the latest episode. I do enjoy the show , but not to be pedantic. Technically people who say it's summer in the beginning of June aren't completely wrong, just not completely in their description, june first is the start of meteorological summer as it is defined as June July and August. Astronomical summer starts june twenty first, so there are two definitions of summer. So the next time someone tells you it isn't summer on june fourth , tell them I clearly meant meteorolog ical summer . Oh my gosh , society's fallen apart . We can't have two different definitions for you. Yes, we can, and we do. Thank you, Jessie. This is the beginning of the end, everybody. Yeah, don't worry about AI . Don't worry about the climate change or global politics. Worry about the definition of summer And just to circle back to the question about tuberculosis , the book Everything is Tuberculosis is a very interesting read. It's by John Green who also wrote The Fault and Our Stars and he kind of has become fixated on tuberculosis and why it still exists. And it's very insightful, slightly depressing. What he says is that there was a gentleman who got tuberculosis and back in the day , they would encourage patients to go west, you know, drier air because it's a wet disease is how they thought of it. So he went west and at that time cowboy hats didn't exist . They just had either straw hats that didn't work great in the rain and other weather or they had like fur caps that also weren't great. Like they just didn't have a good hat for the west and he was one of the lucky ones who survived, went back east when he was done and invented the cowboy hat, made a lot of money and donated a lot of money to a lot of good causes. So cowboy hat man is great for the assassins of World War One, I guess the attempted assassination and the actual assassination , they both had tuberculosis. And so that's why they were they kind of wanted to die for a cause . And so that's how they were kind of recruited to do that. And the third one being the state of New Mexico is that New Mexico was trying to become a state and Washington was like , your population is a lot of Mexicans and Native Americans and you're not white enough. I mean, they didn't say it straight out like that, but you know, well, maybe they did . History is a terrible and the people who were running the government in New Mexico at the time understood what was happening . So they started being like, come move to New Mexico, nice dry air and they did. They had a very successful campaign to get people with tuberculosis to move to New Mexico and increase the white population enough for Washington to allow it to become a state. So that's how those three very different events all link back to tuberculosis. Pretty wild . Yeah. I would recommend it as a read if you're not just looking for escapism, which if that's what you're looking for. Dungeon Carl or Carl. Ah, so great. Thanks for letting me talk about that. That's why we put it at the end because I was like, this is way too much info to questions, but we hope all of you are doing well . Go . Thanks for writing in, Jesse.
