I had to bring Brian Moylland back with me today to talk about the summer House reunion. Of course, I sent him a note yesterday. I said, Do you just want to talk a little bit in the morning about the summer House reunion? Think you we would talk for I don't know, ten minutes and it turned into much longer as you would expect because once we started going over some of the insane details of the last part You know, we got into a riff. And I know that most of you are feeling the same way. You've probably been on a tax thread. with your friends, we have a loted to uncover. and don't worry, we get into all of it. Now I also wanted to mention That last Friday, I went to the Andy Cohen event for variety at the Newper Beach Sast for And I had to tell you this part of the story. So I get there, we get our seats and We're waiting for it to begin and we're wondering you know, maybe the cast of the OC is here. And sure enough, they kind of walk in And I immediately noticed it looks like Vicki Gombelson is sort of like Limmpine, I would say So Kate Arthur does this great job of moderating the event and she's asking any questions And honestly, he wasn't really giving us too much because with the reunion coming the following week, I think he wanted to have most of it on the radio show So I wouldn't exactly say your hair was blown back, but now having watched the season three reunion, I see why But nonetheless, at the end of the event, he gets this award. And for whatever reason they ask Vicki to give some sort of speech So again, she limps up on stage. She gives an explanation that she had just had surgery of some sort. And she's got a collection of cards that she's gonna read off of And when she's giving the speech, you realize that the speech is really all about her So Andy Cohen is supposed to be getting this award, acknowledging his career and what he's done in the unscripted space And somehow she says something like, you know, a friend said to me the other day, you know, Vicky, you've been Watch one point six billion des to my friends was like, is she really making this speech about her? She did. But of course, that's what what we would expect So Most memorable thing from that night, againg, Kate Arthur from Variety did a great job and it was really fun to kind of see them all together on stage. So here is my interview with Brian Brian, boy, been it was a big night. It was a big night. And I was a big night that you watched this earlier earlier in the day. So what was it like to watch the reunion and have no one to talk to about it It was difficult, but I think it's a little bit better for what I do because If I recap things and I start reading on Twitter, I start reading other people's opinions and it like informs what I think. So I like that it's Like I can watch it by myself. Usually I watch it with my husband and he wants to make comments and I'm like, no, no, no. like, get out of here. Yeah I don't want to hear it. Get out Um But he was around to watch it with me. but they did off the screener before the announcement of the aftermath special So and but I knew like that they cut it off early and then Bravo was like, makeake sure you watch till the end. so I knew something happened. And so all night I kept like waking up in the middle of the night being like What happened with somewhere else? It's not liine yet. Can I go watch it? So I don to wait uill this morning first thing I did was open my computer and watch the end of the episode so I would know what was up. Aftermath videos where, do you think they were just philmed in their apartments It looks like it, yes, but West had talked about it on his podcast a while ago saying, Ohh, Kyle and I had this three hour sit downown and it was filmed. I don't know what they're going to use it for. But I figured it was either going be You know, the beginning of summer House or in the city or whatever, I didn't realize that it would be this, but I'm exxcited to see this, especially because I don't think we It seems even based on the little clips that we saw that we weren't getting the full story on the reunion Here's what I'm hoping. I'm hoping they did a drug test beforehand, so that when they do film them that we have some accountability because I do believe that there was something else beyond beta blockers. knowing absolutely zero about beta blockers, but what Sierra tweeted about last night Yes. I have to believe there something more that they were on I agree because from what I understand about Ber blockers like people use it for stage fright, not for like you know, that seemed to me like I've never taken a beta blocker, but If I've taken a Diazepam, a Klonopin, a Xanax, something of that sort, that seems a lot more in my mood. Like nothing can bother me R, notothing affects me. Everything's great And yeah, that definitely seems like it. But also I understand Amanda's point, which is And West kind of hinted at this in the last part too is no matter what they say, everyone's mad at them Like they could, you know, it's like they apologize they're mad. They don't apologize. they're mad. They, you know, say The truth, they're mad. they make up lies. they're mad that they' they are both in no win positions. And so I would take it like, well, then I'm just gonna to say whatever the fuck I want But they seem to have taken the position of, well, then I'm just really not going to say much You know who I blame for this is Vicki Gumbelson because the season where she was held accountable for the Brooks canancer scam, I think she took Somet She barely was lseed either. Shen could barely open her eyeelids. I Bravo prodroucer on played an email from me that she saved in her phone from Vicki. What? tell me donon't leave any detail out. G from the top to bottom It was this voicemail, a producer played for me. It was a Vicky Brant. It was like two minutes long. She had saved on her phone. And it was after that reunion where the accused of taking a standanax. And she says, I didn't take a Xanax. I took half a Xanax. Oh my God. hal which is liry Yeah, the most Vicky answer ever. It's like, I didn't do that. I only did half of that. And so oh my God, I'll never forget that. That's one of those like house size moments I wish everyone could hear. Yeah because I wic all the time. I didn't take a Zanx. I took half a Zanx Well, I mean, clearly that she had to be on something. I mean, I mean a meme last night about her because it was like her face frozen and said, this is how she would act if she won an Olympic gold or the lottery. There was like no emotion on her. Do you think there is part of her that could have been sociopathic? No. And I think that like There there's this thing in the fandom especi is where it's like And you see Sierra get it a little bit like, he's doing this to get revenge on me And it's like we think these people are masterminds. like that they've thought this all out, that he people are like He got with Amanda because he knew she was going to get a glow up and he was going to benefit from it. And it's like that's not how people's brains work Like, West wanted to fuck this girl and he didn't care about the consequences. like and Did this en act revenge on Serra, Did this hurt her? Did he know it? Probably all of those things, but he wasn't sitting around his apartment being like I know how I'll get Sierra. I'm gonna bet Amanda Batula and that's gonna screw her over. Like no, that's just not So yeah, people like, are they psychopa? Are they whver? No, they're just assholes. Like that, you know, that's the answer. It's like, o, does he have is he bipolar? No, he's a fucking asshole. likeike that. dude, dude Yeah Right. And I think that that's off usually the case. but I can see how a combination of drugs knowing they're not going to win, whatever. Yeah, but just Amanda being like, I have so much to think about. I have so much to think about. It's like, oh my god, girl What not? I think that was her entire ten years on the show or with Kyle. It's like, well, let me think about it. What do you need to think about? You're in a miserable marriage Now we have it with sexless. What's the point Um We could just talk about that for a minute Now knowing the lack of intimacy, both emotional and physical in the relationship that she had with Kyle. Clearly this was a partnership made for television purposes. Oh I know this is hard for me to say to you because I know that you love him from afar. But I mean, let's be honest, why would any guy in particular Stay in a relationship that long I don' think we really gather even one day after the net wedding Yeah. Well, and that's what if they hadn't had sex in four years, like they hadn't had sex after the wedding and that's like crazy to me I know other gentlemen who have been in relationships and haven't had sex for like years. Were there? part of the LDS community, like who were these people? No. I think that I don't know. I think some People just expect that's what it is. I don't know. It too me it's crazy. because I always say if you havent had sex in a year, your relationship is open, whether you like it or not. L, you know, if you're not gonna fuck him, then somebody needs to fuck him because Otherwise like look at what happened. Yeah And then she's doing the sob story in the bed every season where like I don't know where to go from here. Well, I know where to go from here. You leave them. You walk out the door, but she refususe to, so okay. Or may we suck a dick. I don't know. It's bizarre. I mean, they clearly lacked any chemistry. you could see it on camera, It's hard to feel bad for either of them because I feel like as a viewer, they've dragged us on this like fruitless journey for years when now we know it basically was a partnership Yes. and I mean, I don't think that there's anything necessarily wrong with that But I don't know. T see the way Kyle is treating her, especially on this reunion Like there's definitely feelings there of some sort, you know? And so I like to think like, oh, they just made this up for the show in the way that someone on the Bachelor or Love Island is making something up for the show and then they break up and g on with their lives. like They dedicated ten years to this. and so that is I have a different hot take Okay, I'm ready for it I think she there's manipulation on her part too It's it's like, of fragility manipulation because he's still on the couch feeling bad for her. Like she's With youong with West humiliated him on national television, right Theac wanting to go and comfort her as she just sits there without any emotion. So you have All this discussion on this show about, well, we have to be careful we Amanda Why are you on a reality show if you're so thin skinned? Why are you on a reality show? This is not the place for you. And everybody has to like dance around her. What's the point No, I agree with that. I will say Less than I worry about Amanda, I worry about that KJ Like he My. I mean not cut out for this world. No way. But to your point, I absolutely agree with you. and I think that The interesting thing is You know, we've only seen two, but this seems like Amanda's pattern. It's like she wants to ride in the wake of someone who is the life of the party, who is very charismatic, who is going to bring all this attention to her. Um but then gets kind of mad about it And so yeah, I think Amanda needs to consider her picking skills And Yes. and that You know, West seems to be saying like he drove this. He's the one who talked to her first. like what made her have to go through with it? Like she said that even these feelings exist was going to be difficult to tell Sierra. It's like, If you knew that, what did you think doing something about those feelings would do to hurt? You know what I mean? L Litally, Yes. Yeah. It's like, oh, I know if I prick myself with this knife it's gonna hurt. So why don't I just jab it into my arm? You know? like Yeah, that And that's Lindsey. Always clacked in And at the end she kind she says You say you considered all these things and how these people are going to feel, but you clearly didn't because everyone's a mess. you have no plan. you don't know what you're doing. And it seems short sighted and she's correct Okay, but why would Id take issue with like it affects all of us and our livelihoods. I just watched about fourteen commercials between the summer House and in the city, Hir products, and there was a part of me that was like Okay, maybe I'm like maybe this has gone too far T, shouldhould it really feel bad for people that have just made like bazillions of dollars off this scandal So I think that they're definitely differences between this and Scandaval in a lot of major ways And But I do think that it's the only similar thing we have to compare it to. And I think Sand ofal was like a sugar high, right? is that we were all into it. We were super dialed in. we are all excited And then there's the crash, which is they make everybody film the show. The dynamics are all fucked up. They end up having to cancel it. I worry about the same thing happening to Summer House and or in the city because of this like that We're engaging they're getting all this money from brands, et cetera. and now. but how long does that last? You know, like Maloney probably I think about three seconds. Right So I mean, cash in. I mean, Katie Maloney is jobless Yeah with a sandwich shop that no longer has lines at it. So You know That's yeah. A the fourteenth commercial, I was like, oh God, now I'm feeling sick about watching all this and participating because they they're all going to be fine. Listen, they're all going to be fine. You know what I mean? Yeah Oh no. like and yes, I think that they are all going to be fine. I worry about U as someone who's loved suummer House from the beginning, like what does this mean for Summerhouse? I hope that was the same thing that happened to Fandom Rules New people, but u Okay, wait, speaking of new people, I mean, you'd have to bring in new people who what Jesse, Jesse's theatrics of the end where he's crying That would be like me sitting on this podcast and slowly weeping and telling you like how much this has affected me. You'd be like, girl, what else is going on your life Well, so no very valid point because Sarah Gally, who hosts the podcast posted posted today, she watched the extended version. That's on. Okay, this is important to note. Okay, good And in the extended version, Jesse says the summer that we just watched his best friend slept with one of his exes And so that makes more sense. I was like, what was happening? Yes, with a very similar situation. I think it was all hidden close to home. And so it's like, this is happening to me again And or that makeakes that make a lot more s Or did that happen I may need like if I was this therapist, I wouldn' need to see proof of that. Like can we see some screenshots, photos from weddings? Like what happened? I say that because it was weird how even KJ said, Well, this has really been hard for me because my father was a philanderer and you're just sort of like, Wait, what? Like or have we lost the plot? I don't know. Well, that to me Yeah, I was like, why is KJ so upset about this? You know, and even like all the tweets and all the social media like before this for KJ it was like, you've known these people a summer. And you know, I think Jesse and West were very close for a number of years. and I think that It's Jesse feeling betrayed by another one of his friends And I think that that hads a You know, be difficult, but I agree with you. It's also like You know what? I think a more realistic response, if this were normal people in New York City. And you were at the center of it, like not the center of it, meaning like West and a manand of a Jesse. you'd say I feel terrible because I know that the friendship The friendships will always be fractured and I don't want to have to pick a side. and I'm just sad for all the people involved but too weep And say, I've lost a brother I mean, you've know themem for a couple years. I mean, I know you're on a TV show together, but like Was he really with you in the fox hole I mean I will say though, We're saying Amanda and Wes aren't expressing enough. Jesse is expressing too much. You know what I person who's not center at the center of it is too emotional about it. That was weird too. The juxtaposition of it all I preferred Jesie weeping to say DJ James Kennedy or even worse Lala being like so angry at the reunion. Like remember that post Gannval reunion, how hard Lala rode And it was like, shut up, girl. you're not involved And C you say the same of Carl's ex? L she was a little bit like that too Yes, I agree, but I think I'm like you have a spinoff and a baby. Why are you so upsited? Right. But I do think that She was kind of pushing for resolution in a way that James and Lala were just trying to like score points and like, you know, be loud and crazy. And so I think that In service of something greater, I didn't mind Lindsey as much as I did the other two, but also it was like Jesie was trying to Like you said, I was hoping you weren't going to call on me. Like he was trying to quietly weep by himself, you know, and not make him huge himself a huge part of this, but he was like feeling his feelings. So I'm glad no one gave Jesse a beta bllocker because he was he was giving it to us Have you ever noticed that your sheets slip off the corners? Super Bowl? Oh pre Super Bowl one hundred percent. Yeah. I mean, yeah, I think that People are right, The seeds were planted with both of them that summer. Like I don't think that they were touching each other. I don't think they were thinking about it, but like the way he's treating her, the way she's responding to it That's when it started. Yeah, it was weird where he said, well He was trying to explain it, but of course, I think again, he was like in au drug haze like basically asking him, what made you so interested in her? Well to see her so happy in that version of her. I was like That is that is an excuse that maybe she came up with to tell you before like planning out what you're going to say at the reunion, that's something that a girl would make up to see you so happy. just like what dude would ever say that N none at all. I mean one hundred percent. It was well and Just based on the little clip we've seen out of context for the aftermath thing, he says he was in love with her for a long time Like Yeah, he was hot for Amanda, either you know, because for whatever reason And and yeah. And so I do think that he was you know, responding to that and she was appreciating that attention coming from this relationship with Kyle where And he was not paying any attention. By the way are. A normal girl would take offense to that. Basically what he's saying is the first two years that they knew you, all you did was sit into bed all day. and then to suddenly see you have joy in your life and be fun because the last two, like I said, you've been a real Debbie downowner. like that is something that would like interest you But also like he's saying he was in love with the bed girl. And so you know, So it's like, okay, you fell in love with the bed girl, but then you fell in love with her even more when she woke up. Like what kind of sting beuty nonsense is this? It's not like she would wear sexy clothes. She was always in like Cap shows And yeah hands No, but I can see how Amanda seems from what we've seen on the show, like the type of person who flirts a lot. And Because she was married to this guy in the house, it was always Maybe kind of safe for Jesie and West and the other guys to Ben to flirt with her and she flirts back and it seems like a safe thing And so Yeah may like real world terms in real world world terms, let's say this is a they live in the same neighborhood. This is what Amanda is. Amanda is the woman who's in a miserable marriage and everyveryone. feels terrible for her. L her victimhood is part of her identity And ye, in addition to that She flirts openly with everyone's husbands That's Really strange. That's like a I person that That's like the woman that other women hate You know what I mean? for forse because that's where the affairs begin So A moment that I loved, it was at the very, very end And it's when they pass out girl S cookies And everyone takes one and like eats them whatever. and then Wes takes one and goes to eat it and Amanda goes Don't eat that. we're supposed to cheers with it. And it's like, this is the future West. Like this is what she always did. Kyle was like,t no, don't don't behave like don't do that. And it's like Like this is what it's going like you think it's great now, but it's going to be a whole relationship of don't eat that. It's not time yet You know? I think he wants off now. Like I think he wants off the train but he's stuck. Totally stuck. And I think that that was some of the best points made at the reunion, which is like well, oh my God, one of the craziest things was when West And he's like, haveave you been monogamous? He wass like Since we express feelings, no But since the announcement, yes, and they all point out, well, of course, it's the announcement because if you had made out with another girl after that announcement, like it would have been all over everything. I would have the announcement that she wrote that he was forced to repost, I'm sure She's like the girl Scout cookies. She's like, here post this. And he's like, oh, Rit Row, I have about four women that I'm in DMs with. That was a real buzz for him. That's the minute he started to want out that he was stuck Well, and I think they're also all right that he liked the sneaking around. He liked the excitement of it. He liked the early st. I think he gets a kink on the woman who's not totally available And now she's real available. Now, remember they said Kyle said, Well, you're isolating her. No, man, that's who she is. She slept in a bed for ten years. She isulates herself Remember Sierra said, Amanda's the girl who likes to be invited but doesn't want to show up like, yeah, that's Yes. She was only cospling a fun girl when she was in the throes of the beginning of the affair. when they would like go out and she would breadcrumb for people. That's when Now she's now she's settling into this is what home life would be. And he's like, Darten his eyes for the exits. He's like, getet me the hell out of here. And if she thinks he's not taken every opportunity to sleep with somebody, she's out of her mind Yes. and that was the meanest thing she said to Kyle in the whole reunion was in the second part when she was like I like going out, I just don't like going out with you I know, but he should have been like, you haven't been out since nineteen sixty two. What are you talking about? But also that, you don't want to Well, and I think he made a valid point, which is like, you're like, I want to settle down. I don't want to go anymore. I want to get married and have kids and move to the suburbs. And now she's out at every bar with West. And s right A so I never okay again As a mom with a lot of children, I think it's hilarious that she thinks somehow her life is going to become even easier for her if she has children. You're going have to feel like g. You're going to have to like really work. Yeah. There's no girl when that baby's crying, there's no lineing in the bed Do get No, Uhh Although she would be one of those moms that would have like the little like the little cot next to the bed until child's like Yeah. So she just could like racket without getting out of the bed. But one of the craziest things about in the city was seeing inside Kyl and Amanda's apartment. Oh my God, thank you for bringing that up. What she's she's an episode of hoarders I mean, and Kyle had always expressed it. and we were always like, I roll, Kyle. and then it's like o I'm kind of a messy person. evenven I was like, I don't like. Do I mean, I was like, is there a dead body in there I don't Yeah this is turning into a true crime documentary of another sort Do feel a little bit of laughter when the girls were like, you know, you need to have a bikini line. And he basically was like, yeah, that's never going to happen. N going to happen. right Well, and what happens to the bikinia line? Nothing Nothing. She didn't want the bikini line She no she wanted to like her she't know how to say were telling us that too. She was like, I don't want to a bikini line. stop. I don't know why you guys are doing this to me I don't want to work I do feel like I do feel like she spent most of her life like vaping in her bed I don't need that for a reality star, sorry I to find out I mean, I don't mind the vaping. I don't even mind the sober, but it's like, yeah, at some point you need to engage. And I think that that was true of Sierra this season. She had Mia She was going out. She was, as Carl likes to say, in the mix in a way she never was when it was her Paage and Aanda sitting in the bed Right. And I think Paige got away with sitting in the bed because Pai is funny. That's good And and engages with other people. and and Page would make everybody else seem funny too. She's very gifted at. Correct. Yeah. And and and then she goes in a confessional and fucking tears it up and Right or has a conversation with someone in the bed and it's funny enough that you don't mind it. Whereas Amanda in the bed is not That not interesting I think Amanda's, well, she's got many problems, but once a reality fan decides you were never deserving of the opportunity, you can never come back from that Agree. Also weird she swore on her dogs lives Yeah. And I don't think she's ever been in elementary school, but the moment that somebody like swears on someone's life, you're like, you're a liar. Oh my God, that happens on Survivor all the time and it's like, I swear on my step grandmother's life. Like they're always trying to find like something o I swear on my Pokemon card collection. It's like Oh, like where is of people are going be like, Ohh, you know what?, okay. She's not lying. Oh, yeah, you're right. You're. Right. question that I've kind of been grappling with thinking about which is Coo is more at blame West or Amanda Hmm, That's a good one. I think I think what people don't realize is that Amanda believes she's a producer of the show And that happens when anybody works at a corporation for many years, you start to think, Yeah, I could run this place. I could be CEOO. All. I don't know what the CEO's doing, but I could do a better job. I think she has that mindset and she also likes to be in miserable relationships where she complains the whole time So I think there's a lot of bostsing him around, meananwhile, I think he lives a completely parallel universe life where he goes to her apartment and they have sex and then he goes back to his apartment and then he DMs, you know, hundreds of women and then has like someomeone stopped by two o'clock in the morning So I don't know if there's like more power than the other. I feel like they are coexisting in two parallel universes. Yes. And in the end, I think they're both not going to be on the show, and here's why She has shown herself to not be a team player And I just think in the end Networks and production companies don't want to work with somebody who makes their lives really difficult. It's worth It's not worth it to them. This is the difference between Teresa Judicee and Missa Gorga, which is when you watch all those weird commercials of like movie tie ins, when you have an episode of Wife Swap, who's always on it? Melissa 'cause Melissa shows up. She knows her lines. She's on time, she's nice to everybody. No who's not on it? Teresa, ' she's a fucking pain in the ass And And to your point, like I think that yes, I see exactly what you're saying Now, I do think that West saw the writing on the wall early And I think he has wanted off the show and in some ways sabotaged himself to get off the show. I'm just saying I've just watch people as you have, because that's part of what we do And I think the good people listening could also relate to that too, is that there are some people that can Just find a way to ruin everything they're in because they lack the ability to communicate effectively so then they do something diabolical to just get out of a situation Yes. And this is what we' seeing I think with Brian and Rola in Rhode Island where he won't dump her. He's going to be so fucking terrible to her that sealed on him And what I think those two are in a partnership business wise. I don't think they can get divorce because they're too entangled. I think, you know they've got businesses and businesses we don't even know about and maybe they don't even know about and they just don't want anybody to acknowledge it and they're up shit scick and they can't ever leave each other That's how I feel about Kyle and Maurizio is that reason they're they're not filing is financial slash business and there's shit we don't know about arrangements, whatever. The blessing is that Amanda and West have not made this legal because that would have been a whole headache. I think he is just waiting for the next pop culture end or bravo scandal to happen so he can quickly dip out do you think He saw the writing on the wall early. and this is what I know I've said this a million times, but Brian, you know this is true. When you're in a reality show specifically on the Bravo network, you have to adhere to what your contract says. And you can't just go out and do any interview that you want. You have to have A multitude of discussions with the network producers with the PR team before you begin filming and certainly throughout And they have a process and they often want to save the most interesting Stories for the reunion So when there is this huge cataclysmic story that explodes in March And the reunion isn't filmed what until April and it wasn't to air tntil the end of May. They're going to tell those cast members keepeep everything for the reunion. Well, that's two months of time in a real time situation with social media. And I think that would agitate anybody who is on a reality show because they want constant stimulation. They want likes, follows, comments in the DM's attention on the street And when you couple that with you are being painted in their minds, painted as this narrative, which they believe themselves to be living in a completely different narrative, they would want to speak out Now Amanda is the person who wants to sit in the bed and baitball day. West, however, is a completely different extroverted personality who also happens to be in the media world for his vocation And also a people pleaser. A people pleaser, thank you very much and also a podcast host Yes. So he's thinking I'm not going to sit on this for two months while I am gaining more followers than I've ever had. People in mainstream media are suddenly considering me for opportunities. People out on the street who never knew me before suddenly know my name I need to strike the iron wall it's high I don't know if, especially with the Jen Fessler story of it all, I think he probably was said to himself in the quiet of the night, I do not want to paint myself into a corner where my audience is a bunch of middle aged women I need to change course That's what I think is his mindset and therefore, that was why he started to sabotage this. do think he probably has something to do with the leak I So I'm dying to hear them talk about who the Laker was, how they found out about it, whatever. And he's like, wait a minute, you have let All of these people eviscerate me Because that's what they begin to think. They're like, okay, we need protection. On the other side of the coin, the network, the producers, et cetera, the publicists are probably like, you're on a reality show You created this mess for your life and you need to be accountable for it We're not fixing this for you. You guys went off script and then you put out a statement acknowledging your relationship And as much as Amanda said, well, know I worked with, I don't believe she worked with the network. I think she did chat GBT and put it up on Instagram stories. I think she told him, go post this or took his phone and did it And I don't think people want to protect cast members who don't follow the rules I can tell you, I have it on very good authority that Bravo had no idea the statement was coming up. Of course they didn't They would never if they were a publicist, I'm just saying this because I've watched Very pretty, you know, pretty close. to the situations, if you will, for many, many years. Yeah They want you to wait until a reunion because they want to get more people interested in their reunion Well, and I think to your point about West, I could see him being like, these people are eviscerating me. I don't like when people don't like me. I need to get out there and say things to make it better. It's like that rememember that fucking Tom Sandaval story? He did in the New York Times after Sandval, where the publicist was out to lunch and he was just saying all these terrible things it feels like that like I need to fix it. I need to make it better. I'm not a bad guy, you know, whatever. And yeah. And so that's why I do think that his Stance at the reunion was an interesting one, which seems to be like I'm finally gonna tell everyone the truth. So even if you're on a television show, you are your own media channel, your own brand. And I think the network was probably enraged thinking Okay These two, especially West Mostly West is refusing to answer any questions, which is their actual job because they're going to save it for their own podcast And that yes is enough just alone to go I think we need to move on from you I mean, wait for the Robin Dixon clause to be in the contracts. When I thought about that. I thought there's going to be a bet beta blocker clause as well Yeah I could see it. Well, and I know that certain cities Do not allow alcohol at the reunion and certain cities do of Wh whichich ones are you not allowed to have alcohol That's a good question. All I know is that I did a panel with here in London at H Fanfest and there were a bunch of housewives from different cities and they were all and there was disagreement amongst the group of who does and doesn't have alcohol I don't remember like which ones were yes and which ones were no, but I know that and I assume it's probably based on because there are different production companies making all these different shows. I bet it production company rules as opposed to bravo rules. But I could also see how that would be a rule that a production company makes once there's a reason to make that rule Imagine two of you are one of the crew members in charge of the reunion and you get to this big moment and you need to you're going to use this in your portfolio. You've got the network going, okay, what are the updates? What's going on? You have who have never watched the show or who are suddenly invested into it and you have the two people at the center of it show up and they are vvoid of emotion and barely answer questions. That's enough to make you insane Absolutely. And I so someone commented on my recap on Vulture about how like, oh, this is what they should do for reunions. like You know, no drugs or beta blockers agree. But hearts in forth to like they demand answers. They have to demand answers and Andy stays on their neck until they get answers and it's like Guys, what did you expect Andy to do? him sit there and say to Westn Amanda, No, that's not enough.
