I'm telling you guys, I've got a lot for you to watch this week, so buckle up And I know I always say this, but This is really going to be such a great list for you this week, especially if you are going on a trip But also if you're going to be around other people and you're just riffing, you're going to say, oh my gosh, I can't wait to watch this documentary this week, or have you been watching this reality show guuarantee you you're going to have lots of conversations. True crime, sports, reality shows, competition shows There's so many different options For example, we were talking about music documentaries, The Aichci documentary on Netflix was a surprise hit for me. I really didn't know much about his music and I cried my face off and I highly recommend also the Dolly Parton documentary, it is fantastic There are so many that are on Amazon Prime right now. and of course, Netflix, you can't beat it with the eighties Documentaries like The We are, the World documentary, and the one about WAM So anyway, make sure that you go there, makeake sure that you are subscribed. you're going get all of the lists each week. and then I write a ton of articles and also my summer reading list, which is a great thing to go and check out as well, especially if you're going to go to the beach this summer and you want something to read or go to the mountains or wherever you may go You you covered So first thing you're going to have to watch is the Real Housewives of Rhode Island season one reunion This aired on the twenty first, but of course you can watch it with the extended cut next day Monday the twenty second on Peacock. And I really do recommend that and it's kind of funny to hear when they curse et cetera too So this one is a two part super size reunion event. So the cast, Alicia, Rosie, Ashley, Liz Rula, Kelsey and Joe Allen face off in a reunion where of course, they're going to be accusations, rumors. Tears, they're all par for the course And their husbands and boyfriend also join them on stage The big storyline dominating everything is that Andy is going to confront Rula's husband, Brian about mistress allegations and the domestic violence charges. if you've Watch the season finale and listen to my episode with Brian, you know that he apparently put a tracking device on her car Brian said, I bet he put that tracking device on the car so he would know when she was coming home so he could sleep with the mistress or at least know where she is so that they don't have any run ins I think that maybe the added part of that is I think he was also worried who she was talking to becausecause I think they have stuff on each other. I could be wrong, that's just my theory Also, people have noticed that Rula looks a little bit different. She must have gotten some surgery, so you want to check that out as well. The show was filmed about a year ago. so you can imagine how fired up all of the cast members are. This is going to be their first reunion appearance. They're probably studying all of the different realhouse wives reunions just to kind of have some sort of idea going into it what to expect. However, it's going to be their first reunion performance. And like the entire first season of the show, it belongs to time Csule because we know, of course, things are going to change going into the next season So Joe Ellen remains at the center of the storm. She's alleging Brian used AI to hide evidence of an affair. I'm not even kidding you Now the Kelsey versus Rosie sllam pig fight was one of the season's most talked about moments And Kelsey comes ready to defend herself because we're going to have to bring up Rdacted, the boyfriend and find out what happened with that. Of course, redacted is the term that Sarah Galleally on Andy's Girls uses, and I think it's so absolutely hilarious and that's why I keep seeing it as well This series has already been renewed for season two and I'm really looking forward to it. So again, Bravo on Sunday the twenty first, but you want to watch the peacocks extended cut the next day Would you rather decide to sururvive is on Prime videoide on june twenty sixth. This is hosted by comedian Romesh Reanathon. and this comedy reality show features a number of people that are going to be familiar to you. King Kenny Ell's the Witch loe Burross and they're whisked away to a remote sun soak location to face hilarious challenges based on would you rather dilemmas The three words decide everything from what you eat to who gets un home So players are eliminated one by one until there's a champion Now listen, the important context is that this is a UK originated show with a British digital personalities, but I feel like a lot of them have kind of Come over to this side. of the water because of TikTok and Instagram and all the social media channels. So it's very much in the UK creator influencer space And I kind of love that too because you get to if you are untfamiliar with them, you get to find somebody else you're going to want to follow So it's premiering globally across more than two hundred and forty countries. produced by Bold Print Studios and it iss called Would you rather Dide to Survive. june twenty sixth on Prime Video The American experximent is on june twenty fourth on Netflix. This is a massive original five part docu series directed by Brian Knappenberg. He's the filmmaker behind the turning pointoint documentaries. It's time to the two hundred fiftieth anniversary of the U.S. Martin Sheheen voices George Washington alongside interviews with sixty influential politicians and historians And the series tracks, the years leading up to the Revolution through the drafting of the Constitution, the first American presidency, exploring how a nation built on an untested idea that has continued to wrestle with the foundational contradictions of so many different matters. So politicians from every side And it is produced by Tom Hanks. So I want you to check that out. The American experiment june twenty fourth on Netflix Really good for your kids to watch too The welcome table on june twenty third is on HBO and Max. It's directed by Academy Award nominated filmmaker Josh Fox, who made Gaslland Now this one tells the story of climate refugees across six continents celebrating the voices and the experiences of people that lived at the forefront of the climate crisis So You're going to see a number of people. It's going to be something that I think you're going to want to share with your kids and The filmmaker went to the front lines of displacement, Paradise, California Boulder, Colorado, Kenya, Tanzania, Bangladesh, and the Caribbean. So it's called the welcome Table june twenty third, HBO and Max. So two different docs that are great for you to watch with your kids If you love true crime You have the A to Z killer, june twenty fifth on Sundance Now AMC plus And by the way, if I say some of these networks and you're like, well, I don't have that, you would surprise yourself. So just do a search and sometimes things will pop up Like I'll say it's on this network, but then it also airs on like Disney pllus and Apple TV plus. So If you don't have the channel, or the streaming network that I mentioned, still do a search just can I watch this and you might be surprised where it pops up. And sometimes I find a lot of documentaries will end up on YouTube So the A toZ killer is a two part documentary about the nineteen ninety two murder of Rachel, Nicel on Wimbleton Common. Now you remember I said this last week when I recommended the documentary about her So one of the UK's biggest investigations, a wrongful arrest derailed the case while the real killer, Robert Knapper continued undetected So decades later, those closest to the investigation reveal how crucial clues were missed and how advancing forensics finally exposed the real killer Now Rachel was walking with her two year old son on Wimilton Common when she was stabbed forty nine times, and of course, she died at the scene A lengthy investigation resulted in the wrongful arrest of Colin Stagg, who was acquitted. before the case went cold In two thousand two, advances in DNA technology then allowed police to re examamine the evidence. which ultimately linked serial offender Robert Napper to the crime. So he pled guilty in two thousand eight. So the title, A isy killer is an alternate name for what was also released as the Wimbledon Killer on Prime Video in the UK in twenty twenty five. So o and check that out. This one I am most excited about. Krisin Martina, the final set. This is on june twenty sixth on Netflix This is a documentary directed by two time Emmy Aard winner, Rebecca Gitlitz, who I have interviewed before I' feel like She told me a little bit about this. L she couldn't tell me the exact the exact subject, but she said, I have something in sports that I think you're really gonna love. Fun fact, Rebecca is married to the woman who is responsible for making flag football for girls such a big thing in the US An a wayay This features never before seen cancer treatment footage. cameras followed Chris Evet through her second Ovarian cancer chemotherapy The film brings together Chris Evet and Martina Avatolova to narrate They're intertwined histories covering their intense rivalry across eighty total head to head matches that push both of them toward being the number one tennis player in the world. Chris Evets's all American background really contrasted with Navatilova's upbringing in communist Czechoslovakia The documentary feature scenes where they are both watching some of their classic matches together for the first time. And both are seen getting cancer treatments and meeting with doctors about prognosis. Navolova led the iconic head to head forty three to thirty seven, including fourteen grand sllam finals against each other And Martina held the number one ranking for three hundred and thirty two weeks, which is insane Chris for two hundred and sixty Interviews include Mary Carrillo, John McNroe, Pam Shriver, Sally Jenkins, And John Worthyim of Sports Illustrated served as the executive producer And I have to say it premiered at the Tribecca Film Festival just last week to a lengthy standing ovation So Chrisa Martin in the final set june twenty sixth on Netflix Starting something new isn't just hard, it's actually kind of terrifying. And after ending a decade long on and off relationship, With Hudson, Arianne is navigating life on her own for the very first time. Stepping into the dating world with fresh eyes. always good, I think. You can't be that young and be in that long of a relationship. You really do need to go and meet other people because you have to figure out what kind of person you want to be with Ava is jump starting her modeling career, and she's carving out a new lane in the influencer space Now, the parents of Real Housewives cast members, Theereresa, Kim, Candy, Meredith, and Brooke, Shields are all part of this show Meredith Marks, of course, is DJean in the season two premiere of the show And So there's a lot of crossover between real Housewives. and the show. And I I thought Heather Du Bros son was going to be on this, but I think they're making an next genen LA And I think he's going to be on that So just for context, Ariana is the daughter of Kim Zolsak Verman. She was the first in her family to leave Atlanta and then step out on her own And she has said things in the past that really break my heart about making income as a young influencer because of her mother being on a TV show and then having it all taken away. So She has this she just had this relationship with her high school sweetheart Hudson. She's got this dream of launching a streetwar line previously attended Georgia state but now she's got this one one way ticket to New York City In season one, she couldn't find an apartment bigger than a closet for under twelve thousand dollars a month. and eventually she and Hudson got this perfect apartment Her excitement about her mom visit to NYC faded when her boyfriend pushed her to set financial boundaries, if you remember that Now going into season two, she's navigating life on her own, as I mentioned And the most shocking tease from the season two trailer is a potential hookup between Arianna and Charlie. Season one's memorable villain Riley is the daughter of Candy. in season one, she reconnected with Ariana. They had spent a decade apart and then they became super tight She stunned her mom by revealing her true career passion. She got stuck with the bar tab that Charlie skipped out on and She recently shared an update on her relationship with her dad, Russell Block Spencer.. to look up for her story Sheia is the daughter of Tereresa. She and Brooks regularly updated their moms on brewing drama with the group, so you would see them pop in for moments and She's got a longtime boyfriend. And as many of you have heard, there seems to be a lot going on at her house between herer sister, Melania, possibly the stepfather. So it's going to be interesting to see Gia's point of view through this show of what her life is like Brooks, like I mentioned is the son of Meredith Marks, and he's extremely close with his family. He was actually The HBIC, as he put it, season one, found his voice to defend his sister Chloe against Charlie, who texted an inappropriate joke about dating her, which is so gross He's so cute to He's very, very handsome in a stylo Designer. Ava is the daughter of Damon Dash, who was the co founder of Rockefeller Records She comes from a music and fashion industry family. She's pursuing modeling full time She previously attended Loyala Merarymount University, which is where my niece graduated from. And I have to tell you, so many of these NepPo babies
