And we are here to talk about episode number two of Survivor Co Wong. and I'm back here with a man who says Jennifer Lanzeti Stand up That's right. Chaelle. Chhappelle, how are you? I'm great. I'm great. I'm happy. I thought I happy. I thought I do Stand up, Jennifer. It's so crazy because when she did it, I remember in the real time being like, no, sit down.le. What you do? putut your seatbelt on. You're not allowed to get up from the ride Oh my God, please sit down. I don't know where Jennifer Lindzetti is right now, but I mean, there are worst sururvivor legacies to leave. And this is make no mistake, an iconic moment in survivor history, whether we like it or not. Yeah, an epic second person out of the show and it was a night that we won't forget. I mean, she had the bug thing. she had the standing up at Tbal cououncil. I kind of had forgotten about how badly she really just gets herself voted out. like she was zero percent getting voted out and then she goes to make a big move And then she continues like just to bury herself, right? L like she did this to herself. She had the numbers up until the moment she got voted out. Like even when shes when she stands up She's talking to the wrong people. She's begging Scott and Jason not to betray her. I'm thinking, you don't need them Sydney's right there who obviously didn't want Darnelle to go last time. Maybe she's a little salty about that. I don't know. And then Alicia's right there, but she's throwing Allicia under the bus. She's like, we all hate her, right? Let's just get her out. It was like, Jennifer, focus. sit down. sit down She just completely Yeah, this is I told you the gameplay so far, Episode one and now episode twom like, what are these people even doing? Yeah, it's wild. It's wild and we see a lot with the Bron tribe here tonight or tonight. Yeah it was tonight for us. It wasonight for us. It was ten years ago for everybody else It was very, very exciting to watch this epic meltdown. a flame out, a true flameout It was good. We I mean, up until like you said, we get through the challenge and we get conffessionals from Scott and Jason M like, there's no way anybody's going home except Alicia. It's gott to be her. It would be crazy if anybody flipped. And Jennifer just went and did everything wrong and basically begged them to vote her out. They really didn't have a choice at some point Yeah, she's such a mysterious person in survivor history. I don't think we've ever heard from her once in the ten years from this. She is from Salt Lake City And so it came up on I listened to the live show. We did the knowow it Alls live that night. It was an in person know it Alls after the episode in Los Angeles. and there was some talk about that Jonas was a fan, Jonas Asuji was a fan of Jennifer Lanzettty because they knew each other from Utah Oh Okaykay. I was reading her bio and she cites Kim Sprat. Yeah. I think she maybe has only seen Survivor One World. I think I think so, especially with how she reacted to this moment of wanting to get Alicia to flip on the guys. It's just like she just went along about it the entire wrong way from beginning to end. Yep. And so it was just a tough night all around for Jennifer Lanzetti unfortunately, and that's it. We'll never hear from her again E ever ever like literally, I mean, no one's seen her at a live show. don't I've never seen anybody take a photo with Jennifer Landzeti. Jennif Lanzetti, if you're out there, come back to us. comeome back to Survivor. Let's see what you got to say about the new era. Yeah. She stands up at tribal council and makes her big speech to the group. H anybody else ever in the history of the show in fifty seasons, has anybody else ever stood on any of the things that tra. Now in when I get eliminated in Survivor the Amazon. We are standing up on a thing at tribal cououncsel, but it is not the actual seats that you sit in at Tbal cououncil J to imagine Jeff doesn't love this, right? Like don't stand on the props. We don't want you to ruin anything. We don't want you to break anything. But Jennifer, she was making an a passassion plea. Another thing I saw her invoke in her bio is her inspiration and life. Have you seen this? I did her bio open, Yes Yes, Martin Luther King Ji., when he spoke, the whole world stopped to listen. So I think she was kind of feeling the spirit out MLK. Yes, mayaybe this is her I had a dream of this is why we should come all come together and vote out Eesia Oh my Godd. sometimes this show is really fun. and I think in that moment, it's probably, you know, it's probably a super traumatic moment for her. I know she probably didn't think her sururvivor dream was going to come to an end like that. Even in the moment watching it, it's kind of like a train wreck yearsars later I'll be able to look back and be like, innt this crazy that this happened. you know, if there's a compilation of the wildest thing that happen on Survivor, it's such a small moment, but it really does play well on TV. Yeah, let's wind it back to how we got there with Jennifer Lanzetti. Isn't this crazy? want to here's how we got here So they end up Everybody hates Alicia. The whole episode is everybody just crapping on Alicia and even the editors, she's getting the Doto edit, she's getting the Doto music. They're talking about how stupid she is She talks about how to make a fire, they just need an embryo Just an embryo because that's all it takes sometimes. just 's just an embryo Yeah So yeah. I mean, she's as confused as everybody else is at why she's still in the game. and I still don't know. Now, if fire represents your life, I mean, is she wrong that you need an embryo to start the fire Well, I'll ask you a question to answer your question, Who made the fire in this episode She did. Okay, well, look, there you go. Yeah Of is' in the play in. Yeahep. So she does prove her worth. She's having like a little bit of a comeback story. She hass a great reaction when Jennifer Lyn's Eddie gets voted out. Did you catch her like celebration No, what does she do? She's like, she's like, ye, and then she's like sticking her tongue out her ass. doing theace. Yeah Yeah. good for her. good for her. I mean, it really was Jennifer playing so badly and Alicia playing the best she could possibly play right? They already hate her. So she went and made herself useful. She made the fire But then when Jennifer is burying herself, Alicia's like, wow, man, it's crazy. It sounds like A Jenny is up to something, you know? like she doesn't, She doesn't panic. She doesn't get up and start whispering in people's ears. She doesn't throw. She's not standing on a thing She's just like No, I didn't come to you with the All Bothers Allines. That was you. you know, that doesn't seem sound like something I would do. honestly. And why wouldn't you, you know, like she really just plays it as coy as possible. Yeah. And so I think when this happens, it does feel like a master stroke for her. They're trying to gaslight her at tribal cououncsel because it's really Jennifer who comes to Alicia. She says she's tired of Jason sitting around the shelter all day complaining about Alicia And so she says, hey Let's talk. What's the most important thing to do in the game of Survivor And Eash was like be honest? L no, no that win the challenges? No Now No, no, no, no, the third most important thing. Yeah you got to get out the big threats Yeah. you know, it's again, it' just a wild decision for Jennifer. Why are you going to Alicia with this information? You should start with Syiddney and say, Syidney How do you feel about these guys talking so much trash about Alicia? They talk trash about us too. I know they do. I heard them talking trash about you Wouldn't it be crazy if the two of us got Alicia and voted one of them out just as far Darnell? No. She goes to the person at the bottom and tells her, I want to save you. Now, you know, I think years of years of watching Survivor, you know, we know you don't go tell the cage tiger, you know, that youre like the person at the bottom, that you're just handing them your game, you know by telling them what you want to do because now Alicia has ammunition to use against you. Luckily, Alicia doesn't need to because Jennifer will go and use that ammunition on herself. But I just thought she played this all wrong I think that there's a little bit of subtext here that I don't think is actually on the screen, but let me float this theory by you that I said yesterday that Kyle Jason, he felt closer to Sydney. He didn't want Darnell there. He wanted Syiddney all to himself That's like his person. Scott's person is Jennifer. Soes Jennifer doesn't want Scott to go home. She doesn't want to like give Syidney the choice because Sidney is going to pick that it's going to be Scott who goes home. Sydney wants to keep Jason Jennifer No Okaykay, Wf let me if we get first get Alicia on board and then sort of like, oh, it's a women's alliance and we're going to take out Jason. does she feel like because then I do feel like what happens and we don't see it on the episode is that I think Sydney one hundred percent completely throws Jennifer under the bus to Jason. Like I don't even think that's debatable. We don't see it, but that's definitely what happened. Yeah, if you put it like that, for sure. Sdney's like my ally is about to go. But if I'm Jennifer, what difference does it make if you get Alicia? Because you're about to piss off if you're trying to keep Sott you're about to piss him off anyway by doing this, right? Like you're going to make him mad. Yeah. So it's not like You know, just let's hy pick Go to Sydney and be like, hey, I want one of these boys out. let her pick. and then at least you have control of the tribe. Don't you want to be in the numbers? And Jennifer also probably doesn't know that Sydney is tightest with Jason. She probably is oblivious to that. She probably knows that she wants to keep Scott and probably isn't aware that there's a Sydney and Jason thing that it's not's going to be a nonstarter for Sydney. She's not going to vote out Jason at this tribal council Yeah. And then the episode painted like Sidney kind of finds out at the last minute is very confused. And there's even the moment when Jennifer starts to blow up her own game at triribal cououncil. you get this big reaction for Syidney kind of like, well, girl, what are you doing? Like it feels like if Siddney was in on it Then she quickly was like, never mind. I can't I can't work. Yeah, Everybody was. And even she's like, no, I was joking that wasn't a thing. I wasn't really trying to do that. It was Alicia's idea. She was coming to me with it Is it my fault that I care about people and that I want to see people happy? And I was trying to give her a good happy moment. Yeah, we've heard this one before and it never works. I was just trying to give her a good day. Okaykay? Yeah. Just like if your dog is sick and you're going to go take the dog to go see Ommer and you go to Burger King on the way there, youre just trying to give them something nice before ultimately they have to go. Why should we be punished because this woman wants to do something nice? And so yeah, she's telling everybody because it's her, it's her who brings up the entire plan at tribal council. att least from what we see, when she's there, she's like, yeah, some things were floated around, some ideas or you know, they're like What ideas? She's like in the h just were had plans were thrown about because there's only five people. If you're in an alliance of four, who is throwing out the plans? Jennifer, please elaborate. And then she's like, It was you Alicia? you did it. Isn't it? Wait? Nope, too late, too late to back out of this one She should have just stuck with what she was going to do or at least been quiet about it Chappelle, I want to go back to something that, you know, ten years ago, people that watched this episode and they talked about like It was she okay? She had a incident where there was a worm that went into her ear and people made a joke. Like these people theyre trying to be funny and they're like, did the did the insect do any damage, but Since that time, I heard a story about a guy So said that he had a worm in his brain that ate parts of his brain. And there was and then it made it that he couldn't even remember some things that happened. M And this is that this was like in court that this person said this. So I don't know This sounds like like and this is like a scientific person. Mhm. Somebody like who really like really matters. someomebody who like who has like a high like a Yeah, a serious person. So Yeah like like like a big title or something like that. Yeah something like this. Yeah Yeah. a Brawny brain in fact. And so Interesting, right? I guess it it's possible Yeah, just like a little yerk just went in there and like started to do weird stuff like an anomorph. Yeah, I don't know. I don't know what was happening with that worm, but whatever it did, I'm happy it did it because otherwise, I think Jennifer Lenzetti she might have gotten further in the in the game, but I don' based on how she handled adversity in this episode, I don't think she would have won. So I think this is probably the most entertaining exit we get from her. Yeah, it was going to go great for her The Bron tribe is really we're starting to see the Scott And Jason Are we calling him Jason or Kyle? What do we want to do I think we had to call them. Yeah, we had to call them was Jason because it was Scott Jason and then we had the guy the other guy and the guy was like, call me Kyle, but my name is Kyle Jason. It was a very weird year for casting too. They didn't have to do this like that. They didn't have to do that. But anyways, so Scott and Jason, they're really they're really hitting it off, but you know Jason is so down on Alicia that he is calling her Chips He called her dits and a half. I think he called her a flightless bird. He said you're an ostrich, you're a bird that can't fly. so we gott to get rid of you. I said, dear God, you know again Yeah He on that one. I didn't really follow what he was trying to say, if you're a bird who doesn't fly I guess if you're a bird that doesn't even fly, we can't can't use you. I mean, but that's really disrespectful to. Omer would not like that No, as as an emu guy, I believe also a flightless bird. Um, Ommer is a bit of a burden himself, so yeah, I don't think he loves these two people Yeah. And it's seeming like that the Bron tribe is going to be they're talking about maybe they're the worst tribe ever. now I wouldn't go that far. I mean, they are not early. Yeah, it's early. They've lost the first two challenges, but it's been close It's been close and again, they're making weird decisions for like a group that wants to keep winning challenges. You voted out Darnelle over Alicia. and now you' voting out Jennifer over Alicia. you know, if you really want to win and you're saying that this woman is dumb and useless and not strong Then You know, keeping her around going to do what for you. And this was the most brawny tribe, I think or most brawny challenge that I think you could have gotten. It was basically the challenge was like carry a telephone poll and like get it through the maze. There was no puzzle element at the end. It was do a slingshot. you would think that' Scott Pollard would have had that done, but they end up coming up short On hadn't voted out the strong guy, you know? And again, they're doing this because they're like, oh, we can either drag Elicia to the end or she's not a threat. so let's get rid of these threats. And I want Sydney to myself. But if there's a tribe swap you know, like at the third boot or something like that. then do you think Alicia's going to stay with you? That lady's jumpinghip the first chance she gets. So it's like, are you really even doing yourself any favors keeping her around Yeah, I don't think she's gonna gonna listen to them. It's not going to be like a Russell Natalie type thing Right. And then she's going to jumpip immediately. because it wouldn't be hard. They don't want her' not even like Yeah it's not like she's in an alliance with them. She's on the bottom. She knows it. they know it. What do they think is going to happen by keeping this woman around and talkking trash about her She knows they're talking trash about her. I'm sure Jennifer Lanzetti went and told her everything they were saying. Yeah Let me ask you a couple of questions about the tribal cououncil because I'm a little confused. So the last tribal cououncil was a three three split. It was a weird three three split and then ultimately they all ended voting for Darnelle. Here, Jennifer gets three votes. It's Alicia, it's Siddney and it's Jason But Alicia still gets two Jennifer and Scott Did Scott say, hey, I can't vote for my friend Jennifer? Is that why? Or do you think that they were trying to split the idol, maybe I don't I mean, that's the thing. likeike, do they think Jennifer had the idol all of a sudden? You know, like know. This is the second time I basically put Alicia on a split and then didn't vote her out. You know, It's very weird. I think it was probably more that Jennifer and Scott were close and I think that Scott didn't want to vote out Jennifer Now look, I know this isn't a new era, but how many days has it been for you to be that close to where you'll never vote out generous? Is day five or six God. I mean, I know look, five days in sururvivor must be a year of my life because you you're already at the point where you want to write this woman's name down. D sex. I guess if this was a new era, it'd be day three. Okay. And I I wouldn't standance. So then Scott Pollard votes for Alicia He votes for Ail in quotes, Ail Isha What's he going for Is he calling her a drunk? Do you remember I know I remember this because I'm a weird oope and I laugh at stupid shit. Okay, so hear me out. during that the season of Big Brother,ay Taylor Hale season of Big Brother and they had the The BB comics? Yeah. Do you remember Amira BeB comics? No, what was she? It was Aira. Beir Wh is not even clever. This rhyes. This is like, I I just give her some beer. Aloseough. Yeah. Alica A should BB comic. comic and beB Alica is iconic. I don't care what no what it is. Yeah, maybe was she like a party person? Is that one of the reasons why they didn't respect her Is she a bartender? Like what why would you say? What' a job? No she's a real estate agent. Ey. Oh drrunkard I'm pretty sure A ALE and he has in quotes Yeah, that's the problem because her name is Phel AL E, but I mean the quotes really make you have to you have to wonder why are you doing this? Yeah we should. Yeahep. Okay. so We'll never we'll never know. I guess we'll never never never know. So let's talk about the beauty tribe and what's going on here and you know A I don't know if I had this thought at the time I really do feel like that the Caleb The Beastmone cowboy really feels like trying to run the Frankie Grande Zach Rance playbook here with this tie trank What did I say? They are doing this just to piss off Frankie. This is all a ruse. They only did this because Frankie has been applying for Survivor for roughly fifteen years and it's his turn. He should have been on there. And so yeah, now we got Caleb and Ty doing the same thing that we've seen before in Big Brother. but we do this in Survivor too. Rich and Rudy, we, you know, they love the odd couple kind of Sure. It's the odd couple, but Rudy was not' not say. he was tolerant of Richard Yeah best Yeah. o you know, I'm J Chappelle. you know, I don't even know what gay baiting is. okay. that you never see me doing that with Rich He's not by type, believe me, okay? This is closer to what Kitt and Bunky, if anything So yeah, it's so if you didn't see the episode We got a lot with Ty with trying to find the Iidol. We could talk about that next, but yeah, they're really talking about the romance between Ty and Caleb. and then I think that Ty obviously enjoys being arounda. They seem to enjoy each other's company But there's a lot of like Ty is trying to get Caleb to eat the eyes of the fish and then is like taunting Caleb to take a piece of fish out of or that Caleb is taunting Ty to come take a piece of fish out of his mouth and then Ti goes in to try to give him a kiss U like get out of here. come on Mhm. Uh some flirting going on here here here. Yeah.m And Ty is a taken man. We know he is married time and and Caleb is looks like he's down for a good time, but you know, Caleb watched his season of Big Brother. point He knows how Zankei played to the audience. Yeah. peopleeople loved it. And so maybe he was leaning in. Mbe, maybe Ty calls Caleb cuddlelicious, or at least he calls Mark his husband cudleicious, but says that he likes cuddling with Caleb. Nowadays, you would not be allowed to do this They shut this down. Oh. No, ye, that's against the rules. That's against the rules. you know, And I think this is a lot safer for Caleb as well because, you know, the last time Caleb was in a Mance with somebody these' rules one sided. Yeah. Th these are good. This is good This is good. Yeah. And then the other people in this tribe basically could be invisible in this episode. Michelle Anna Julia Nick that they're all just spectators watching the Caleb and Ti Show Mind you, in about an episode or two, people are going to be like, I think Michelle's takaking it. It was like the same Michelle we haven't seen. Yeah, they were just there. The beauties were there, but we get a lot of Thai content and it makes sense. I mean, we will see Thai comeback in sururvivor history very quickly after this because he is one of the stars of the season and it seems like he finds a little bit of a beware advantage, right? Yeah, this was kind of wild for season thirty two and it was really shot as season thirty one of Ty finds the Hidden M Iidol. This is Great, you found the hidden immunity idol, dig it up below. and then it says you great you found the hidden immunity idol, but it's still up in a tree. and it's like I don't know, seemingly like twenty, thirty feet up in the air. up on top of this palm tree. So he needs to figure out how to get it. He tries to climb this tree and it really felt bad for the guy because he ends up bleeding and he's like bleeding on the tree and he realizes he can't make it up the tree. He's like banging his head on the tree because he's so frustrated He's saying that he needs Ozzie. He will play with Ozzie in just one year. Yeah, how did that go? Did they ever Were they ever on the same tribe? I mean, they made the mar I think they did. I want to show that they're both at the Zekein Varner tribal cououncil Oh. Oh yeah, yeah. yeah, they ye, they are.. You're right about that. Yeah, they they will they will be destined to meet at some point. Yeah Well, it is very much like Ty is in his Azuszie bag. You know, Ozzie is known for climbing the trees and grabbing the coconuts and all that kind of stuff. And Ty, if the if the idol is thirty feet up, Ty gets about twenty feet up before he decides, you know what? My feet hurt. It's like sandpaper. I got to come down I'm less concerned about him climbing up to get the idol as I am about. how is he going to get down? You know, it's it reminds me of when the survivors are on the polls, you know, and they're just hanging on for their life. But them'm kind of like, if they don't have the strength to climb down, that's a long fall We've seen some people take some bad falls on that. So Ty knows where the thing is and he doesn't have it yet No, no, no, it's going to need a big old stick or something like that to knock it down. Okay. Let's talk about then what's going on with the Brains triribe and a lot of drama here. Now they won the challenge last time. They got some kerosene, which is kind of rare I don't think that we see sururvivor players get that. We got it in the Amazon as part of like what we got to start. Bye You don't really see that any people get kerosene on Survivor I don't think I ever knew that they gave y'all kerosene in the Amazon. It was in the box where we got like a bunch of supplies to start off the game and we did have kerosene. Yeah, this is so I wasn't paying attention when they said that they got it in the last reward. So when they start talking about the carrininee, I'm like So y'all just walking around W oil like gas out here? likeike what are we doing? You know, I mean, there have been times where survivors have gotten their hands on gasoline Yeah, you know,, but not because of the producers, right? It was against the producers's will. I'm pretty sure that was Boston Rob and crerew over on Ho. I think it was Tyson really who was the person who I think that maybe it was Rob's idea and Tyson was the wheelman who went in and like siphoned some of the gas out of like a production vehicle The fact that he could siphon gas out of a production vehicle just like at will is already crazy to me. because there's no there's no way you tell me like, hey, go get the gas out there. What am I gonna do? You know We're on a deserted island. What am I gonna to do to get? What would you do Nothing nothing. I would be like, go to hell, you know, Do somebody else go do this?, But they end up with a big old fireball. And so this time around, I guess production was like Now go ahead. go, you know, well, it it's hot it's hot out here, but it could be hotter. Yep. So they give them the kerosene and that they end up first they use too much. And then also apparently Joe Del Campo spilt some of it Did they use too much or were people just complaining? Beause if you ask Joke Del Capfo, he's like, these people think they know everything. They think that they read Survivor in the book the tribe and I have spoken, they read it and they really focus on the chapter about how to win sururvivor and what to do if you get on the show. And now they think they know everything about starting a fire. Yep. this is a age old debate on Survivor where you have the Liz Markham types who are sort of the intellectuals who have prepared. She has not spent to my knowledge, she has not spent a lot of time outdoors, but she has learned everything there is to learn from books and from resources about what to do in these type of conditions. And then you have Joe Del Campo who has a military background, who seemingly has lived in these types of conditions. And they they're having a clash over. She says that they need to boil the water There are pathogens in the water. and Joe Dell Camp is like pathogens, my ass Pathogens, pathogens. Yeah. it's it's Liz on one side, Joe on the other side. and then Debbie is just an agent of chaos walking around like, you know, I tested water for twenty years. I can eyeball it, okay? I can tell you what a pathogen looked like just by looking at it. So there's too much going on. I will say this, I love Liz Markham as a character. I'm so happy she got Steven on the ballot for Survivor Cambodia Yeah. she's really good. She's getting upset here because that nobody is listening to her. She very much is like we need to boil the water. And so they're having issues with the fire and they're not getting the water boiled to the degree Now ultimately, and ironically, I think she's going to leave the game with a pretty bad infection, not from drinking the water Oh, she I didn't know I don't think I knew about this infection. I think she that she is also one of the people. She does not leave the game with it, but I do think that she was one of the people that ends up getting that very bad U MERSa infection Coron needed to happen because I think survival production got a little lax on, you know, some of the take the care of these contestants, right?? Respectfully, I don't I'm not wishing, you know, MerSa on anybody or a heat exhaustion, but all that stuff happens in this season And I think they have to make some changes because of it because we do see Liz Markham like teerry eye talking to the talking to the camera saying I dont think Joe understands how bad I need water right now. And as a production person, someone should be like Is she okay? You know, we're asking if Jennifer Lanzetti's okay because the bug crawled in her ear, but Lesis Markham looks disturbed. Yeah. She even says like I have to remove myself from this right now because I'm not even thinking logically anymore. I need water. I think they were it had gotten pretty bad for them out there and C around for sure. They they make such a big deal in Survivor forty nine about the how hot it is and the heat. and Jeff talks about it a number of different times. Stehven also said that weather in Korong is even hotter than it was when they end up shooting in Cambodia. This was like the hotter time of the year. And you see some really bad sunburns from the players. And so I think that the elements here are it's a little hard to contextualize just how hot it ever is when you're watching Survivor When they did this challenge this time, they were in the water. and I thought, oh, that's very smart for you to put the challenge in the water because you know that way at least they have something cooling them becausecause the challenge that's gonna kill Caleb is in the sand. and it is for spices. And so I'm sure we'll get into that later on, but yeah, they had them doing a lot of crazy stuff out here and some in some wild conditions out here in Coron. Yeah. So it is going to be Right. retty tough for everybody. We have not seen Obery really in this episode. I think this is maybe a zero confessional episode for Abery Mm. Yeah, her and Michelle both, I think go conffessionalists this this time. But I think Liz has stepped into the Aubrey role. You know, the first episode, Aubrey's overwhelmed. You know, she's h ball Right. and honestly, it's wild that they're both on the same cast because I know their're brains, but they really are playing the same exact role. The first episode was the Aubrey Sh, same, same concept. But this time it's the Liz show and Liz who was at the top of this hierarchy who was so fine L lastast round. she's like, Abie's lips aren't even chapped. I don't even know how dehydrated she is. And now she's like, Joe does not understand. I need fire and I need water now.. you know, the turntables. Yeah. It's interesting that they have some similarities, but then they also I feel like they have these differences where U that Aubrey is so quirky as a as a person. And I feel like that Liz Markham from what we see about her on the show, like she is just like very logical. L that she doesn't really have like maybe she has like idiosyncrasies, but she doesn't come across like as quirky in any way She's very like buttoned up and down to business She's probably more of the um The Emmily Flippin archetype, you know, just like it's like the logical brain person, right? who might be a little straightforward, but I think that's kind of what they were going for here. But I do think we're getting some good personality moments from her for right now I'm very excited that she's on the season because it's been fun watching her even though She's in hell right now. She's very much ding. Yeah, she's really not having it with Joe. Also, she is getting working with Peter. and Peter really roasted Debbie when after she talked about all of her things with the water He said the question with Debbie is, so does she have thirty cats or forty cats And he's like probably forty, defefinitely forty Okay, o Bag in stocks like calm down, slow your roll a little bit. I think one of the more fun things to watch in this season is the fall of the brains because it's not just that the brains don't don't last, It's thats the meek inherit the brains tribe. you know, like the same people that are at the bottom are going to be the last couple people standing And in Aubrey's case will go on to play survivor three more times while you have Peter and Liz These are the high points of their game. They're about to go out back to back essentially in the next couple of episodes And this this is their moment. like everythingthing else after this is down Hill. Yeah I'm interested to see because it's going to be the next episode where we're going to see Liz go out spoiler alert. And I'm interested to see how it falls apart for Peter and Liz because they have not been presented in a negative light really at all unless you are like a real Joe Del Campo fan of like, yeah, these girls Need to listen to Joe that they have been presented as the people who have been sort of the like logical centered people in this tribe Mm and they're kind of acting like it too, right? It's like they know like we we're the normal people. Okaykay? We got the crazies over here. We got Joe he's old and he doesn't know what he's talking about. And we got Debbie and all her damn jobs. That guy's wearing ice cream pants and then Aubrey's having a panic attack Look at us in the middle. And I don't know if their gameplay is not active, but the show will lead you to believe that the two of them are in the middle in like some like weird swing position between these these other four people that they think are at the bottom. But two people cannot have the numbers. You need to go and solidify these these relationships with everybody else. and if you're talking trash about everybody, maybe those four people will just get together and vote you out Okay, so we'll see what happens next time. This episode is called Kindergarten Camp and it was said, do you remember who said this I believe that is Joe Tample talking about Liz Markham's surviv survival skills. She tried to make a Chcoal filter for the water or something like that. he was like, get that out of here. Get out of my face with that. f Ch Cam filed a ton of filter. Deid Fishback, getet out of here. G out of here. Yeah. I did watch recently a kindergarten cop on Netflix Why I was looking for you know, my son, Anthony, he watches a lot of Marvel movies. but said let's watch a comedy. Let's watch something that's funny. And I said, Okay, let's watch kindergarten cop. And I watch the story of John Kimball, I believe is his name That's A Schwarzegger's character. and he goes into the school and he has to be the substitute kindergarten teacher. I'm trying to see if there's any similarities between kindergarten camp this episode and kindergarten cop. Yeah, kindergarten cop. I mean, there's one point where the kids are all like arguing and fighting and he's sort of like Shut up. I mean Is that like when we see Jennifer stand up at Trial cououncil? Yeah, she's Arnold. She's turnred out to try to get all these kids together Yeah, but I don't think there's too many other similarities No, I doubt I would doubt So the kid the kid like climbs like the water tower at the end of the movie. you kind of like Tie ends up climbing up the tree and you have to get down I didn't know I was gonna have to watch kindergarten copps to prepare for this What's the next episode called? I need to know if I go watch another movie. The next episode title is called The Circle of Life. I don't think that's ever been said in a movie before. So there's no movie There's no movie that's the circle of life. So Yeah, I dont know what I would watch in that case. mayaybe I'll just go watch the circle Or maybe I'll watch life M Yeah, there's lots of options there. Was there anything else here from episode two of Survivor Crong U notot that I can think of. you know, it was again, fun episode of TV. sixty minutes. It didn't feel labored. You know, I don't want to keep beaten It's so much fun. I'm having such such a t time watching this. It's tight. You're getting the sound bites from people. Sure, we did get a purple beauty tribe for the most part. but at the same time, we get that now, you know, We still have characters that we don't see for four or five episodes. And ye, we just started the challenge. Jeff didn't like rap or anything. like like it's like it's just like, oh yeah, like let's just get down to it. All right, let's go I ye Gys Well, I was going to say that I do appreciate Debbie being on the Brains tribe. I think she could have easily been on the Bron tribe, but I think putting Debie on the Braine tribe is a master stroke because tellelling her that she is one of the more intelligent people on the cast is just going to feed into her, you know, her own mystique about herself. It's like putting cooach on Redemption Island and being like, you're a warrior. He's like, I know I am. I know I that's exactly why I'm here. Yeah. I saw her. We have the biggest frontal lobes She's cheering like, Brain matter. Brain matter. I was like, Debie, this is annoying but Again, we want good TV. I'm okay with this. Yeah. So I watched the know it Alls that was live this night on february twenty fourth, twenty sixteen. It was the first season that Josh filled in for Stehven when Cambodia it was on the air. And so Stehven is now back on the podcast. And this was a live show that we did. Very rare for us to do the live show on episode two. We've done it a couple of different times. And so we were live and it was was Really really fun to go back and watch it. Ryan Elder and shut up Tim, not what up him shut up Tim sang the know it alls intro. Stehven was very, very fun and then Jonathan Penner again, just like he would come back ten years later at the live show that we just did was there in person. And he was very fun. Man, I bet. Yeah. so it has been literally ten years since the last time Pennish showed up show up It' a live show. Yeah. I don't think that he did showed up at any of them in between. I think that that was I think that that was it And he told a story that I've retold many times, but I realizeed I had been misquoting him in the anecdote, but because we're asking him like, hey, Penner this so you played in the season with three tribes and then you also played with a former athlete. you have Scott Pollard here and you played with Jeff Ken. And I asked him, what do you think about Scott Pollard? He's like Well, first, I think he looks like Lurch was what he said And he told the story about how he got off the plane from the Philippines with Jeff Kenn, who flew home first class. And then his wife Stacey was waiting for him at the airport and he got off the plane And she was like, oh my God, you were on the flight with Jeff Kent And he's like, wait, how do you know, Jeff Ken She's like, we saw him hit a home run at Dodger Stadium. And she's like, how do you know Jeff Kent? you don't remember when he was on hit the home run at Dodger Stadium thenen and he talked about he's like F J It' the out of nowhere. and then And he said he said, Jeff Kent wouldn't pee on your head if you were on fire I remember that story and it's so real. It's so real because he wouldn't. said Jeff Cant wouldn't piss on your head whichich I think is a better pennerism, if I make correct penner Yeah. I think you have the if anybody has the authority to step inad and be a proxy or to you know, to speak for Jonathan Pinner, I think at this point, you've you've done your hours, you know, you've done your time It's like F Jeff Kent. So real. So real. a good FU on survivor and survivor related FUs are always good. You know, like the FU Back Brack bell pepper Oh it was funny also because Penner and asking, have you ever been around this type of thing at tribal council and Penner was talking a little bit about Abby Maria and then Stepven and Abbice, even and Penner were responding a little bit of like Stephven's like, Oh, isn't she the worst Sts would be very afraid of Abby Maria. He's bold to speak about her after after playing. Yeah. No, he's crazy. Yeah, but wouldn't do it. I wouldn't do it. So yeah, that was a fun one to go back and watch the the live show. Also then Max Dawson is there and then also Carin comes up and Carin is going on. Karin is very taken with Kyle Jason Oh. Yes Okay You think he should have been on the beauty tribe Oh, okay, Carin. Shes got a little of that Jordan Kayl' going on. Okay Tw episodes. Calm down. Calm down. Okay. Carein, please. G battle. Yeah. This is a married man, I think. Y Okay. so yeah, that's it. I think that that's kind of like I don't know any of those motto that people have used there, but he did bring it to Survivor
