Fashing back through thirty one years of radio gold every Saturday morning, wherever you get your podcast. It's Rick and Bubba's greatest hitss Rick and Bub All right, Rick and Bubba, we're theast wing of the White House here with the forty fifth President of the United States of America, Donald Trump. Pretty fancy place, right? I'm veryy nice. Vy nice. Not so bad. you've come a long way. We lock the cookies too. Yeah. We've got good cooks here. That's true. Thank you for lunch. The lunch was fantastic. Good.ormally do you eat a lot? What do you ask for lunch? Well, I don't have much time to eat. We're trying to pass tax cuts now We've got all sorts of things lined up tomorrow ahead for China, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, and the Philippines. Other than that, it won't be very busy. Well, let's talk about it. The tax plan, We've been talking to some of the different members of your administration and there seems to be a lot of optimism about it. Of course, the economy is doing great even before this. The corporate tax cut could only make things big. Well, we're doing great as an ecomy tremendous numbers, tremendous stock market numbers everyvery day we're hitting new highs and the tax cuts but are really needed to really make this country take off like it should. The tax cuts are going to be very important. And I think they're going to happen. There's tremendous spirit in the Republican party. and I can tell you the Democrats are worried. You know, they're obstructionists and they're worried about it. But think were going I think we're going to do fantastically well both in the Senate and in the House. Can you get it through? That's the key. I think so. Yeah, I think so. I think that there is, for instance We were really there on healthcare and then we got a surprise vote and we're going to come back to healthcare right after dis overilver. and we're going to get that done But I will say that I think there's I mean, you guys know as well as I do, you see what's going on tremendous spirit to get the tax cuts. Yes. Yes. There's a lot of energy out there and tremendous. And during the campaign, when you said you could produce three percent growth, you were scoffed at And there it was. We just had it dis was revised up three point one right. So we've already hit it. We had three point two and now we have three and the three is in a tough season because we had hurricanes. we had Really five hurricanes. I mean, bad ones, as you know probablyrobably better than I do. Yes. And that's supposed to be a point. That would mean we would have hit four So we had a GDP of three point two and three into the last two quarters. and most people didn't think we were going to be there for three years. So A lot of it is the fact that I cut regul and that companies are already starting to really get back to work. Well there's a lot of regulations have been very seriously cut. There There's a lot of small business that want to reinvest. They want to move forward but theyve been scared because they didn't know what was coming there? They're ready to rock and this country is ready to rock. And don't forget, other countries have GDP at eleven twelve team six, seven. We were at one point two when I came in. And it's just not acceptable. And now we're up to three. And each point in GDP is two point five trillion dollars. That's more money than we're talking about to a large extent for tax cuts. I mean, that's actually more money than we're One point makes a tremendous difference. And nobody can tell me we're not going to get a point. And we just left the Rose Garden you saw. We have Jay Powell going in at the Fed And he's a very, very talented guy. I think he's going to do a great job. Well, I think Americans, which is the reason why I believe that you won, I think a lot of us out there have been so frustrated that it seems like the government doesn't have basic concepts how business works and how the economy works and so many things the government does lacks logic. You know, we're small business owners and we weren't about to add any employees because everything was so uncertain. Then we went through the thing with Obamacare. And then we have this forced on us and you know, which you has just been Obamacare, by the way, has been a disaster. I mean, and we've got to fast. The wheels have already completely come off It's not like it's going to be bad It's really well in the' talking. As you know, we're talking about ending the individual mandate and giving that to the middle class and giving it to businesses where they you know, go out and create a lot of jobs But the mandate has been a disaster. The individual mandate has been a disaster. I mean, people that had insurance before Obamacare Now they have to pay not to have it. Right. It's got to be the most unpopular thing. onene of the most unpopular things I've seen in government. And so we're even considering getting rid of the individual mandate. Well, there's there's a bit of a frustration because I think there's people that said we voted for this administration and we want their vision for America to be implemented. Yeah. And they're going to get it. hestly They're going to get it. We're going to get we're going to get repealed and replaced and we're getting very close to getting it anyway. And Obamacare is exploding and imploding justust as I said it would. And the tax cuts are going to be very important. in a way, I feel a little bit guilty leaving for China and Japan and for South Korea now because you know this is prime time. But I will say the receptivity and you people know it as well as I do, the receptivity has been fantastic for the tax cuts. What about when you talk about the corporate tax rate, I mean, that's obviously something you're very familiar with. Is this enough too really I it will be great. Yeah, because being being the highest corporate rate, that makes zero sense. Right. Well, we're bringing from thirty five percent down to twenty. That's a tremendous. This will be the biggest tax cut in the history of our country So this will be bigger than anything we've done. And historically those have caused big booms. I think it's going to be tremendous. And also the reason I say for business, business needs it because we are one of the highest taxed countries in the world It's not even close. We're one of the highest taxs in the world. and now we're going down to one of the lower, not the lowest. I'd like to be there too But you know, you can only do so much. And by the way, there is a phase two. Maybe we do a phase two. if this kicks off like we think it will, But this will have a huge impact on business and a huge impact on jobs. If you get another shot at it, the Rick and bubble plane would be zero deductions and ten percent across the board. Everybody. You know find. I mean great economy It' be difficult to get through, but it We figured God was for it. You know, we could live with it. Hey, there are some people that agree with me. I let me ask this why we have you. we saw the test walls go up. Yeah. how do you feel about it? And you're going to go down and judge them right? Yeah I'm going to go down very soon and we're going to be when I get back sometime after I get back from Asia and we have five and even six test walls up. We call them prototypes And you know, it's interesting. We have the we have the border Patrol working on it and they're working hard and nice because they're the ones you want. and they want a certain vision through the wall Because if you think about it, you can't just have a concrete wall then you don't know who's on the other side. So they want to have a vision through the wall. And no those are some great prototypes. There's one or two in particular that we like and I'll be going there over the next three or four weeks. So we' not to tell you what to do, but I'd go with the Israelis. If anybody knows on the wall Well, why we got a couple of them from Alaba. Well that's true We do have some Alabama ones in there. so you just judge and put a ribbon on it and they win. Well it's basically I'll be picking the winner, but I'll be picking it with ice and I'll be picking it with the border Patrol. And you just mentioned Israel, but their wall works. ninety nine point nine percent. L out history ninety nine point nine percent. Yeah. That's the reason why we thought it was weird that the pope acted like he didn't like the wall when he leav. That got a big w. What is that about? When I heard that, it was actually during the South Carolina primary. and you know that,? remember that? And it was during the South Carolina and I heard that the pope was sort of against the wall. and then I said, wait a minute, let me see some of the pictures of the Vatican. Well, ask the people who had to bury their loved ones that Absolutely O the last twenty four, forty eight hours, because what? It's not immoral and it's not unreasonable to say that we're not saying that people can't come into our country. We simply want to vet them out to keep our citizens secure. And that's a reasonable statement. And we want a merit based system. That's We don't want lotteries. and you can imagine who they put in those lotteries. They're not putting their finest. No. They're not putting you guys in the lottery. Okay that let's not even talk about it But I' not putting hard for people to understand A lot of people inconceivable, but I think now they're understanding it and I would like to say move fast because in three weeks from now, they won't understand it to the same extent. Now I understand a lot of Democrats want to end that lottery system. Well I I've been talking about the lottery system for a while. I've also been talking about chain migration ainigr Chain migration iss a killer where somebody like him can come in and they'll bring everybody twenty people, twenty three people with him potentially his case. he only has a green card. No he's a bad He's a bad person. He's an animal as far as I'm concerned.ute And we're going to be very tough. And if people don't understand that and they don't like it, we keep saying is don't blame our country who now wants to be secure. Bame the people keep doing these kind of things. and that's what's causing us to start betting. It's not our fault. It's the behavior of those who are coming in that that tend to do harm. Well, we have extreme betting and now we have more than that. I mean, you see what we've been doing. and we've done a great job at the border. seventy eight percent down And you look at that when, you know, if they went one percent down, it was always. It was seventy eight percent down people pouring into the border. And that's before the wall That's just enforcing the laws that were already in place. Forcing laws on border prol and nice, you know, they endorsed me. R. And the first time they've ever endorsed a presidential candidate you know why they want it, they wanted to be allowed do their job. They want to do You know they actually work much harder now than they used to and they love it They're doing their job. They love the country. They're proud of their country and they're doing their job. Well, thanks for taking time to include us today. It's an honor to be here. and of course, the last time you're on with us and you did a liner for us, it made national news even in the radio industry. we appreciate it. And what happens when you wake up alone very far from Earth I really had to make a decision because I caught myself getting that frog in my throat and starting to get teary as I'm narrating some of these sections. and it's like, okay, yo, yeo, yo, is this indulgent? And I really thought about it. I was like, No, at this point it would kind of be betraying the trust the author and the listener have in telling this story if I don't go through it. There's places in this book deeply emotionally affected me And I left it on the mic. That's great becausecause it served the story. People will say like, oh my Godd, I cried at the end. It's like, yeah, dude, me too. Listen to EarsSay, the Audible and I heart audiobook Cub On the IrHart Radio apppp or wherever you get your podcasts A man in his cooking grill ome one over time And and those relationships they build and they're strong You know, any timee my wife said, Hey Why don't you grill something? today. for a family gathering. you know, I'm one of those grillers that sure, I mean, the great ones can go on the road and be at a church function and somebody's saying, canan you go over that ratty grill in making something You know, some people, the ones who are moderate grillers can't go on the road. And I'm like, well could y'all have any more of a hintnt like that? And so we had a couple of friends over and the kids had their downstairs New Year's Eve party Uh, and then we, um We decided decided I will, Sherry said, we need to get some fireworks But you know she's got some brave now she even tells me she survived that dilemma before Yeah when I almost you know shot everybody. And I said, well, we only have one One little Team He said, we got that Roman candle to you too which then the intelligent one of the group said, Hey guys, there are two different sizes of tubes One team's designed for this, the other designed for what it did It's too. wide and too tall You won't get the thrust To which we said, a toube's a toube Yeah No, he's right. Yeah like a barrel on You know, let him go back in. How about this, Boba he is absolutely right. And and we u So we dropped the firework in there and we have we're going to lotot them both at the same time and they're going to shoot up in the air And nope, Nope. bigig big big did the mortar again. Big tube, Big tube took his firework and shot it about an inch and a half above the tube. Yeah exxploding the one next to him. And now we're running and our and one of them is the landscape designer who landscaped our yard. So he knew where we should take cover right. You know what I mean? He said, goo for the bushes and jump. And we're diving over bushes as it goes. And I mean lots up the whole yard. I'm don't pit your firecrackers. I'm talking about the kind of fireworks that you like go and wal in there big You know, I mean I mean the big ones and it's like it's still expanded. It looks like just haall of duty, right? Just like it should have done hundred feet hundreds of feet in the air. Oh, what a show.. They did the same thing hovering a few feet off the ground Oh That was I like a starburst under the deck more than I like one over theck. How about this? I felt. I felt You know, how to explosions feel your . you know, the percussion of it. I felt it get on me. I mean, as it knocked me over the bush I'mad you were there, Greg, You've been left behind. Oh, ye otherred. I' have been over there paying. And then then you hear out of the smoke, Y should have listen to T. You know The book of bllank com It's this one's so bad because she's been there before. Everybody get inside before it kills it. That's it. Fun's over. Y'all happy now? Watch behind the window. You know, But now next year, though, you see, you've started something. Hey, Daddy, do what y'all did last year. Right Well. Oh yeah, that'll be disappointing from now. And and the wife are so mad at you, you have to ask when your guyf friends put the salve on you You know, Hey man, I'm Bururn back here you don't mind you don't mind you know, as long as you agree to put it on the back of my leg, you know, so And Rick, I think the thing you ought to go for next year is a two stager Have one lock the other and whileall it's in the air. Well, you know what I need to do get. that'll get you some fun. Rick, Here's an idea. getet two of the same size tubes. Yeah If you wantan to shoot two. Yeah, buy two boxes. said a tube as a tube. Was it you? No, that wasn't me. that would But you agree? That would come from one Geordi Hens. Of course. Oh a Tam. know L roll time Bub this past weekend for me, it was a stay home weekend, which was great. And my wife Sherry spent some time down at our family farm preparing for this weekend's marriage conference, the part she's going to be presenting. She went and tried to put all that together while the boys And I spent some time hanging out. had one kid come home from college. so I had the oldest son with me and spent most of the weekend together. We celebrated the real Greg Burgesses's birthday at my mom and dad's house yesterday. That was was that was an extravaganzer. Well, how did that go? Well, you know, it was it was an active weekend and it all went really well. I had Friday, of course, I had to take care of the first order business, and that was to purchase NA college football twenty eleven. I guess while you were out getting Greg's gift. Yeah, while I was getting Greg's gift. And Greg told me not to get him a gift. He said, I don't want any gifts. So you did And so I'm sitting there and So anyway, so we the boys and I went out to a theme park in our state called Alabama Adventure. So that involved the combination of water slides and amusement park rides. Oh God. which which is and boy hot in Alabam I mean, I mean, I don't know if you've walked that pavement lately. Hot. And And you know, And they always want to do the format of water slides first, rides second now now I'm rolling over to the rides and we're all wet. And but you draw pretty quick. there And made the mistake, even though it was a great day, had an outstanding day. You know, a lot of times when you go to theme parks, you know, your goal of trying to make sure you could go one time when everything's running. You know, which is raly ever happens. you know, is there anything any worse feeling to go to to a major amusement park theme park and of sudd you go and they go, Hey, so and so that ride ain't running we ain't running kids like why they rid it up? You know, so we over over a period of a thunderstorm slowing things down and which never happened just rumbled off in the distance, but they have to shut down anything that's high whichich is all the great Rdes. You know what I mean? And So finally that kind of rumbled away and they opened back up and We had a great day and just just when I had had planned out everything perfect because when you go to a theme park You know, you have to it's when you take kids to a theme park, it's a battle plan. Sure. I mean, you don't just casually. Now you can go to the beach and casually figure out what to do You don't ever casually goo into a theme park. with children with no plan of action. No. I tell people that all the time. You know, the first time parents or email, we're thinking about going to Six Flags or Disney World or Sounds like we going into to Alabama adventure You know, and I'm like, you got a plan Well, well we were just wondering, You can't wonder I mean you got this is like going into battle. I mean, this thing could turn into a disaster. So my battle plan was perfect, perfect And I made the mistake. I made the mistake, almost free. I'm almost done. I'm not frustrated The lines were tolerable, everything was great Man and the boys had a great time you know, I even, you know, we won some of those carnival games and won some worthless prizes and And I'm just about to leave And I notice the hot dog restaurant Nobody was in it. And and I thought, man, I can notock dinner out right here. 'ause you know, dads are always that dinner cld hang over you in lunch. know if mom's not they want to know, she wants to know, didid you feed them? Right, And you start thinking, would this Would this be an acceptable food for her? know, that kind Probably not for mom. Yeah, for dad, it's fine. Yeah. Cereal. So instead of hitting another restaurant while we're all tired on the way home I said, let's knock this out right here. Got it. Forgetting, of course, that u emmployees of theme parks Well, there's a lot of things they do well, but boys service and food just ain't one of them You know, I finally said to the young man I don't know that you could fix this hot dog any slower than you're doing it This is like watching a lava lamp You know what I mean? Not the lamp again. So you're saying it would have been quicker if the hot dog had come over and jumped in the bun itself. Yeah You know what you know what I did and this is the part where the because I was trying to represent Christ Right, which which was difficult. And at one point, I really did say Just let me do it It's just hot dogs. I can do this. They're spinning on the little warmer. The buns are to your left That's see it Take the weenie, put it in the bun, and give it to me Let me have it how hard is that You know what I mean? And and, you know, and the let me tell you what happened because I watched him wait on the one woman that was in front of me who wanted one plain hot dog I'm not you want for those you here, you want to show you my impression It's a visual Yeah. The only you streamers and people here I'm not making this up. Rick is up. Of course his theme park hat tilted to one side of course. You know what I mean? Look, she walks in. he's back there with nobody. notothing. She and she walks in, she says, I would lock Just one plain hot dog. Rick standing up like he's ordering. And I'm not ex. First of all, he won't come all up to the counter And then the hot dogs are behind him. already cooked. buns are to the left steaming and a tupperware thing. Okaykay? Drink machine. is over here ' left. I would like one plain hot dog Now keep mind, I'm gonna get a lot more than that. Okay. One plain hot dog head tilting. He walks over then goes over to the God fororsaken plastic gloves, which I said more than. When I say, when it's my time, just grab your hands, you're fine. We've done things a, lot more unclean than your hands probably are. You know what I mean? My gosh, we've been over, you know, with piles of people like animals and water. You know what I mean? We've been going down slides a no tell them what's in that water. You know what I mean So look, whatever. and look so here comes one glove trying to get his fingers in it barely. And look and I'm just like about to come apart. You know, I'm just like how long does it take to put on a stupid bl? You know I mean, look, and he kind of gets it down. Then he didn't it right one time he takes it back off. Correct. this is one hot we have the wrong finger you on. Yeah Yeah. Then he finally gets that on and then he looks over and gets the other one Look and then he kind of works it down. Then he goes over there and he goes No to the tipw thing It can't get it open with the buns in it O's got slick gloves on them. sl. Well, unfortunately inside where the buns are, unfortunately they had not disconnected the buns for him and made them individuals. They were still attached. And that threw him for a loop. just tear it off. just but they come apart. L he's keeping around with it. And I'm just like, o my gosh. And so finally and then and then he's just about to come over with a hot dog. He's just about got it over and she said and I would like a pretzel too turns around and he starts taking the gloves off and I'm like, leave them over next. You know? Just get it with the glove. You know's like and then there was a piece paper he had to get for that. Oh that just And I'm just said, I kid you, I took him T twelve minutes to hand a plain hot dog to a woman And I realize I've got to get a lot of them You know what I mean? Because you're hungry. So here's what I did. I thought this was smooth. I thought I cannot watch this again. Okay, I can't because I'll do something that will will crucify Christ. You know in this man's eyes. So So what I say it is because you remember the one time I was there and I removed the hot dog special? Yeah. I took it off the menu because they couldn't pull it off. Yeah. to in line. Yeah. And I said, if you can't pull it off, just don't even have it on the menu. You know what I mean? And And so I didn't want to do that again because I thought that's not being You know what I mean? So it's obvious It's obvious a lot was needed here. Right. So so so this time I really did and I want to thank the Moss family God love you Scottba and your and your beautiful children and your wife because When I ordered, I turned around not because I couldn't face what I was going to watch because I wanted like five hot dogs And all this. So I turn around And I see the moss family coming outside the window who I know and go to church with I went out to them and we talked about everything about their family. We got updated And I just hoped that enough time would pass that I would then turn around and see the hot dogs, right So I just couldn't look at it. I said, I can't look at what's happening back here And I walked outside and talked with them and that, you know, how when you talk people, time passes faster And I talked with them and ate up about ten, fifteen minutes And I came back and my hot dogs were coming to me. And and so that that helped big time Because and I wanted a chili dog too, but I just couldn't know Iagine got the chil. I couldn't imagine if I' ask him to do that chil You know what I mean? I couldn't im And then I your stomach thanks you too. I mean, imagine And I grenadade I noticed they gave him also his job was to take care of hot dogs and pretzels and watch the soft serve l H That's soft server, take him all day G getting that out. This young man can take that on The showman can take that on You know, and I tried to talk to him, which was a mistake. You know, you ever try to you ever try to talk to you ever try to talk to some of our youngsters today with it. Some of our young men and women. Y do So man, how are you having a good time here today? You know, because when I come to theme park, I want to invite inside of. Yeah. I want fun. I want people I want people to look at my kids. y'all having a good time at at theme park today You know, like that, hey you' by doing okay. How y'all doing today? What can I do for you? You know, I might say, man, you doing all right? Yeah As like what would you say You ever looked the man in eye and spoke with some volume, son? Rick in is defense. Are you capable of looking in someone's eyes acknowledging our family existence here. We just knocked down how hundreds of dollars here Rick How was the hat? How was the hat tilted to the side, you know, with the theme part log What if you're the one sweating inside that office runing them numbers, you love him with his hat tilted. But againain I mean the this is who's representing everything you've invested. Unless you should had a hat here, What they charge to eat at these theme parts. They're not used to people coming in shock. You don't believe some. willing to buy five. I didn't believe it. I think it ended up being four hot dogs not five because I knew five too much So four hot dogs, two potato chips, one soft pretzel. Three Coca Colaas normal sizeed Yeah, that that being It thirty five now. I said. Now Now, see, that time I heard you, you couldn't have said forty dollars. Yeah. You know what I mean? I wish I didn't hear that. And r clear. And r probablyroably has a tip jar on the counter. Yeah. Yeah, the gold put a tip jar out for a seven dollar hot dog. And you know what my tip for him was, find a job where you don't interact with humans And look both ways when you cross the stay. Yeah I mean you foot it down. How much you said? eighty dollars . I tell dollars a dog. Have you noticed the price of all food, it seems like it's gone up.. Cheap Mexican ain't cheap anymore. A ball park or a theme park, try to eat there. I told the kids, prepare for what I want you to tell me is the greatest hot dog you meory. Rickin buuba, Rickking buuba. And I really thought about it and I was like, No, at this point it would kind of be betraying the trust, the author and the listener have in telling this story if I don't G through it. Loving once again, as we've often talked about, we look to Europe as our example. I tell you, it's amazing. I've never seen. the folks at the top of the heap looking around for help as much as we have. I know wantant to reduce the effects of global warming This from US news. I I get in fear over it. They're very respectable, US newews. Stop working so hard. Working fewer hours might help slow global warming according to a new study Released Monday by the Center for Economic Policy and Research. I bet they're a blast to have lunch with. I betday party at Thanksgiving you know What if you heard today guys look before you leave Rick I know you got a co that makes your nostrils sting and one of your eyes is not working. but if you could if you could if you could sit down and have a meeting today. He looked like you was slap my Lewis. just if you could sit down and today day, please before you leave I need you to meet with the Center of Economic Policy and research. Yeah. U Rick, this is fun. The relationship between a shorter work and long and lower emissions is complex and clearly understood. Right. But it is understandable that lowering levels of consumption, holding everything else constant would reduce greenhouse gas emissions Rott the author of this study. He says some of the reduction can be attributed to fewer operating hours in factories and other workplaces that consume high levels of energy. hear this. They They're now saying lookook, if we want to keep from burning up we got a work list. we got to cut that work hour. Now Rick, get this. He says that this is the real this is the real bottom line in this that developing countries that have economies that are growing basically have two choices to follow. They can follow the European work schedule or the American work schedule. of little vacation and forty hour work weeks You're talking about the country that has accomplished more in a little over two hundred years than the rest of the world has Zich Dom me preous. So what it's saying is look But if we want to survive, America's going to have to stop all this. I mean We can't we can't get into this get after it work hard mentality. Let's all let's all fart around like our European neighbors and and cut down the work week and not be able to fire anybody and everybody gets eight weeks vacation here is the saying though. Look, we're all about vacation. get all you can get But here here's the thing. let's just say, let's just say earnest. don't have it just b All of us to be there morning year. Yeah if all of us knock off at lunch today Okay What are you they're assuming that you're going to stop doing whatever you do at work, which for a lot of us would be sitting in a day Right And that we're going to somehow disappear into a vacuum and not use any resources or do anything. If we get knocked off at lunch, if we all knocked off at lunch today, not got knocked off, but if we got if we knocked off at lunch, we'd probably go. we'd probably go out and do something, right? We'd fire the car up and go ride around we would have trucks one of my favorite hobbies to go ride around looking Oh How about this? We'd have our automobiles blazing. Absolutely. You know, if I think we're gonna go home and sit in front of the black on TV and watch the three channels. I Americans, baby. And I'm gonna get here a party. I'm gonna get out of my truck with a hemmy engine by the way, which you know how green that is. I'm gonna get out of my very green hemy engine. You know what I'm gonna do get right on the fl wind You know now I've got that fired up, might get a boat out R Build a fire. W burn Yeah You know what love. I goingt shoot a gun. Yeah. We're going to go out. We're going shoot guns. We're going ride things. We're going to hunt, We're going to fish. Y Burn stuff. We're going to get out and play violent sports I mean, all of that stuff I mean, there's no telling what' no telling the politically incorrect things I might do if I have more free time. You know what? I don't know the internals of this study, but I'm doubting the outcome of it already because I think we use less power at work And they're talking about factories. Heck, we ain't got that many factories anymore. We buying everything from China. They fact Buba what factory But Buba, how about this how open they're being about? I don't know too many factories. You guys one or two around, but not a whole lot. I drove through the old Pittburgh of theouth I'm there's more ain't a lot of smoke kicking out there. Greg, how about this? We need to embrace the more European way of things theseese dasardly Americans and they're burning the earth up. I get this, Rick. He says with all their accomplishments. Once again, we need to feel guilty for being d gum number one He said there's a lot of controversy with this. Sh the developing world follow the American or European model The world was to follow a more European model of work We would expect fewer hours, less output and lower emissions of greenhouse gases. Hey, I'll tell you what else you can count you'll have less of That's satellites so you can watch TV, teechnologyies for cell phones, planes that fly all over the place Anything you really enjoy that quite frankly is worth the crap. Right. it's not forget All your medical pills, all your advancements and all of that, all of your cAT scans and this surgy surgy computer advancements, all your internet stuff. you can just chunk that out in the ocean with a European model too. Yeah. well now that when you mention the great medical accomplishments we've had in this country now we're about to drop back and punt that Ohbody's nobody's going to worry about that much longer. Now, if you want to sit around all afternoon and drink wine and eat cheese then fine That's all. Right. Right. But I' r to earn your wh to doing that and then do it when you want to do it. Yeah, I kind of liked it better being in a country where they say every time This new rash of stapff infections changes its mutation that we me we come up with something to fight it. But when research and development stops, I look forward to the day that that we go from being a first world society in the medical field to dying of stapff infection. Hey, that's awesome. Yeah, and I don't care how many vitamins you take or deer sppray. you ain't going cure I cannot wait to go backwards if more third world with our medical care. I know. I love it I love.y how about this? whyn't we just crapp in the streets too? Sure of forget garbage, let the rats ball up. It worked good in Europe. realize realize how You realize how quickly You realize how quickly we had indoor plumbing ahead of everybody else. I mean, we were the leader in indoorum. Let's go back to crapping in the streets and sleeping in it. Yes. Well, Rick, I get the slp jar back out Rick, againain, I know let me take bed. Let me tell you something Let's hang it over a mud hole. Let me tell you what the Americans perfected. and quite frankly, I think it's at the root of all our success. Right. We knew how to dig whales and put inpiv.en. You know were figred that out when nobody else had a clue. You know, we're good at. We knew if you ran it in a in a big cement box somewhere, it would do away with itself. You know not hurt anybody. You know we're good you know, we're number one in Clean water and places to crap.
