So last week You came on the show And you said you feel very passionately about a certain award at the Logis. The Bruce Macamanny Aard. Yeah Yeah. Yeah, as a big fan of Bruce McAvenany Well, guess who has a message for us? Well you can't if it's not bruised, everyame think like is going to be a disappointment at this point Pay it DJ Naook We have a video, Zara has just seen the first footage. Okay, let's go Hi, Michelle Hisar. I just wanted to say hi and thank you for a couple of reasons. Firstly for All the information you give my daughter, Alex about pop culture and she keeps me in the loop. And for mentioning me this week, Re the Logies, it's weird, isn't it? You nominated for your own award and honestly, I don't think I'm going to win and that's going to be so awkward. Alex is coming over to Glasgow to help channel seven of the Commonwealth Games and help me in particular. So I hope you can watch If you watch us We will listen to you. comp fare trade, Bruce. I'll be watching you no matter what. I love the Commonwealth games. I love Bruce McAvane. If Bruce McAVvane told me to do anything, I would do He did just tell you. He said, you watch us. I will listen to you, Bruce. We will be riding for this award. And a shout out to Bruce's daughter, Alex, who is a is a listener of the show. I had sent that in. I did not ask for it, Zara. I know you thought, oh, Mish hass gone and chased this. I did zero work. Oh, that makes me feel better because I don't know if I would have chased this for you. Alex, I't know we had Mac ofwonny royalty listening to this show. Alex and Bruce If you're ever free for dinner, we free for dinner. That's exactly right. Yeah I have some things to tell you that' been cing from you aw awake There's been some developments in my life and you And the listeners are playing Judge Judy. Okay. If you don't want to be known as Judge Judy we can rename you. Judge, I coulder. No, I don't mind Judge Judy. I need help. Okay. And I need an unbiased And I've looked to you for that. Do you think I'm unbiased? I think if I ever need someone to put me in my place, with love. It's you. Okay. So I give you full permission to do that in today's segment. I'm excited. Before we get there, a quick shout out to our sponsor, Nutrin Natural's Diclicious award winning bone broths to support your immunity, gut health and everyday wellbe How many times a week do you think I turn to you and say Should we have some bonebra Oh, daily Daily moment. sometometimes twice a day. It's winter, warmer and it keeps me it keeps me going. No hyperbole. recommendations. Yeah. You want to kick us off? H. What's happened? I just like I feel like I've fallen off the recommendation band where it' probably yeah, your third week in a row. That's fine. We're getting close to annual leave and my My verve for life is Wanneing. That's fine.. The psychology of money book I've spoken to about off Mic. I don't think I've ever mentioned it on Mike I am listening to the audiobook of The Psychology of Money by Morgan Housel If you are someone who likes a little bit of self help a little bit of a reset when it comes to how you approach money This is a must listen. There are so many moments in this book that kind of stop you in your tracks and really make you think deeply. Lo. Yeah, I know you're never going gonna reite that Do I have to be in a particular headspace for non fiction. And if I'm doing nonfiction, it's always going be memoir anyway How can be self help? No, no, I've recommended it knowing full well. Tometimes it feels like study Not for me. Perhaps I'm just a learner of life. No, you are. You are happy to learn life and to self optimize in these ways. I know, I want to escape. You want to learn about other people's lives? Yeah. I have a recommendation. I've been watching a television show over the last couple of weeks. Reity. I'm really learanning called reality? No. What is reality? That's TV. genre U I'm finding it's the only thing that will switch my brain off after work. It's not like master chehef, is it No, it's called. The thing is Oll and I always get the name wrong. I think it's called seecret Millaire. It's not. It's called million dollar seecret. But we call it Secret Millionaire at home, which is incredibly confusing. This is the opposite of ar recommendation. No, once you find out about it. becausecause after I recommended the trraders, I had like ten plus DM's from listeners telling me to watch this show because it's sort of not dissimilar to the traders in that you've got maybe twelve to fourteen contestants One person is secretly given a million dollars And then everybody else basically has to hunt them down and work out who it is Wow. Okaykay The thing is, I watched season one and I was like, this is fine. Like it's not setting my world on fire, but it's like enough to get me through the day. Clearly good enough for you to then return for another season. Season two though, I would say, if to be honest, guys, just start with season two. A million times better. Really? Yeah. I'm halfway through season two. It is, I think when you watch a reality show like this get stronger because people have watched season one and understand how the game is so they've formulated strategies and approaches Completely And would we be good at this game if we played this game No I don't know guill does it? Well here's the thing, every episode, the millionaire is given an agenda. So they are like, you have to go out there in order to kind of like, you know stave off getting three votes against you at the elimination and say a random word fifteen times and no one can notice. I don't know if I could do this. Like I don't know if I could be stealth enough in this way notice. Now that we played the offffice version of the Traders and I went quite far, do you think I could do it I don't know if you're stealth enough at the agenda. you' great at the traders. So this television show, watch it from season two If I bit must be honest, ye, where do we watch it? Netflix, season one, I also thought bit too much producer interference. I couldn't be sure it was a natural ending. Oh Anyway. A bit of content editing from Zara McDonald if anyone from the production team's watching. It was just more like, I think the producers have too much power here to decide what happens goes rather than letting it play out. Yeah ye yep, yeep. So that's what I'm recommending this week All right, you you ready for segment one? I would love to put my phone down and just listen to you talk. Okay Let me set the same. Beuse I would have loved to let you in on this from the get go, but I thought, no, Save it for the podcast. It's actually is life. It's Saturday morning I'm enjoying a coffee with my husband and my baby A listener named Joseie messages me. Where are you I coff me and I thought if we were setting the scene. No, no, great, sorry It's rainy outside I'm pretty sure. beautiful. Okay Listener, Josie has sent me a video In fact, it's an ad And it's an ad from an Australian businessus' Instagram account. This New Jersey wrote to me, This sounds like you, but surely it's not I we're not naming the business for legal reasons. You know what? I'm not naming the business. I don't know if it's for legal reasons. I just If something's gone awry here, I don't want to hold that against a small Australian business and I'm willing just to let the story stand without their name being involved. Love that. So if you guys hear beep outs of this business's name, So she says, this sounds like you, but surely it's not And this is the investigation we're opening today I'm going to play you this later on in the segment. First, I want to run you through what happened between me and this business And then you're going to come in and tell me It's me. Okay because I played the video out and initially I went donon't think this is me. It had a voice so for it. I went, I don't think it is But then the more I sat with it I went, I think it might be I sent it to Mitch or I was with Mitch to played it out for Mitch He immediately thought it was me Sent it to my dad. same story said it to my siblings. sameame story. So I dMn the business Oh my go, you just ask straight up, hey, is that me I wasn't that direct. How else do you launch into this combo then Wow, now I seem really snide. I said hello k which voice artist youve used on this clip? Oh no, I think that's probably a smarter way to do it The brand respond partner with user generated content collaborators and content creators. Okay Twitch I said, what's their name? Love They responded, sorry, we don't publicly share that information Can I ask why you want to know And I said, because it's been flagged to me that this is AI and an AI representation of my voice in particular Sidebar, it is illegal to use. hundred percent. You can't. I love how you said we're not naming the business for legal reasons. No we definitely did you can tell I wasn't involved in the prep of this story. We definitely aren't naming this business for legal reasons. Also, you just can't. I know that Belly said she'd give up all of her name and likeness for twenty K. She did,. I never said that. In perpetuity, she said two thousandver twenty thousand dollars forever. I never said that. No, you were actually quite passionate on this show to say you couldn't put a figure on it. I said to Belly, that is so valuable. You simply can't give that up for twenty thousand The brand came back to me and said, I'll have to confirm with the marketing team I'll get back to you These ended up over email Well, that's more professional. What I figured was that the brand was going they asked my email, I gave it to them And I thought they were going to come back and say, we're so sorry. We've found out this is your voice and it is AI. It weren't happen again. At which point I'd be like Absolutely no dramas This is why I need to be involved in this things earlier. I don't know if we would have said absolutely no dramas. Well,, well we didn't get there because that's not what they said over email They send me an email Part of it read, we regularly work with real creators to produce our video content. However, on this standalone occasion, we chose to use an AI generated voice. At no point did we upload, clone, reference, or use any recordings of your voice We also did not instruct and they put an AI voiceover company in that part, we did not instruct this AI company to imitate, recreate, or generate a voice based on you or any other individual. Your voice is not in capapital letters, stored in the available voice library Prior to receiving your message.be you got a legal letter. Wait for this, I got schooled and this made me feel as small as a little end. Prior to receiving your message, we had no prior knowledge of you. your podcast who you or your business as such, it's simply not possible for us to intentionally create a voice based on you point I'm thinking o Ohh dear, Ohh dear. I think so highly of myself. I've gone in with, donon't you know who I am. And I've come back with not. Don't you know who I am. You've probably used my voice at which point they've gone, We've never fucking heard of you, your cast of business anything. They didn't say the co founder So then I start quaking, but Mitch reminds me about listener Josie and he goes, uh uhh, you were not the one to first point this out. A loyal listener of your show. Josie. Joseie brought this to you and thinks it's you which point I went This is a segment for the show. O course. We are all gathered here today to decide Is it me? Okay, I will be I will be unbiased. Okay Can I hear it y? We're gonna play the snippet And we're going to play it. Now Yeah I can't believe be buried delayed for like fucking eight minutes. Let's go, DJ This is genius. If you've got a train loving kid at home, you need to see this. These are And they completely transform ordinary wooden train tracks Instead of building the same flat layouts on the floor, these little connectors let you build up Think towering ramps, epic spirals, and train tracks that weave all through the house My kids absolutely love it because every build is different One day, we're building a massive bridge. The next day, we're creating a spiral that loops all the way back down And honestly, I probably have just as much fun helping them build as they do. What I love most is that they connect with Duplo style blocks and all major wooden train track brands. It's creative, screen free, and keeps them busy for way longer than most toys just me or does it get more me as it goes? It's weird because it sounds like it' like there are words that don't sound like you at all, but then there are words that sound like an uncanny version, just to protect ourselves here, it sounds like an uncanny version and how you say it wor. For example, when you said transforms and sorry, when the The robot lady identity is unknown. Transforms and kids are one thousand percent. I mean, I do this job with you every day, But then everybody else does too. They hear the same thing that I hear, which is your voice every day. It's also, it's not my voice right now, it's my ad read voice. I really feel like, which is a little bit higher And what is more professional? It it's my speaker voice. Yeah. So when I first heard it, I was like, I don't think so, but it kept going and I went, Wait a second. Does this sound like me? We've heard it there. I can reach you the script, just a little part. a couple of sentences. Oh, you're going to rate it for me And then because I think to do a thorough investigation, I am right here. why not just Oh know that. Free talent. Close my mas.. I wan to just use this. just This is genius. If you've got a train loving kid at home, you need to say this. These are and they completely transform ordinary wooden train tracks. It's the word transform. It's done. Instead of building the same flat layouts on the floor, these little connectors let you build up. We have that pot again. play it again. It's me This is genius. If you've got a train loving kid at home, you need to see this These are And they completely transform ordinary wooden train tracks. Instead of building the same flat layouts on the floor, these little connectors let you build up What do we do? I don't Well, So here's the thing, I think what's interesting about this is the first sentence doesn't sound like you. So the concept of this is genius doesn't sound like you Then as you get into it, it does. What do we do? Because they're saying never heard of you, babe. And they may not have. They probably haven't A company. Well, this is the thing. There are just a lot of steps here because there there could be some people involved. Well, what do we do? Well, I think cut bringing it to the podcast is a pretty big step. I' ever done the wrong thing? No, no, I think that's good. I don't love the listeners to w And all love to this local business want you to thrive actually hold nothing against you I hold something against the AI company who's doing voiceovers and I think has used my voice. I mean, I know itss to Fridays I' to turn our brains off. I totally get it. I am I definitely don't want to be in the business coming after small business. L I do want to be really, really careful about that. Yeah. But I do think it's all of our responsibility when we're potentially using AI in our businesses. They've accepted, They've admitted now it is an AI voice that Are we sure that the AI voices that we're pulling on are actually legitimate robotic vversus or not. Again, being really careful here, we don't actually know. We just think it sounds like you like it's It is everyone's responsibility because stealing someone else's voice if that was to ever happen from an AI company. if they are mining the internet, if an AI company is mining the internet to find voices and then on selling that and then listeners are hearing it saying is that Michelle? We do have I' quite a mammoth issue here. They in their email to me sent me a screenshot of the voice they had selected in this AI company or the voice that the AI company had selected. Pagged as an Australian mum in her thirties I think. And's another nail in the coffet. Hello. M. She's thirty two and a m and Australian. And dare I say not toot my own horn a voice out there. I know that. Yeah, no, I know. there's endless recordings about it. I know you want me to laugh about this. I'm starting to feel slightly acential. That's all. So we agree it's me Well we agree it could be you, just Oh sorry. Otherwise I'm going to have to get this whole episode legal J. We agree it could be me. Yes, thanks. And that I could have something to I could have a point to argue. You have a point to argue. Okay And so when we poll the listeners, so the listeners will be will be polled on Does she have a point to ask? Do I Do Michelle have a point to ask Wink You know what you're voting for? You know voting for And if you think I have a point to argue argue it. I'll argue it. Oh, I'll argue it I don't want imagine if twenty years. There's shameless podcast. No all, which is just robot us speaking. Unortunately, if people think you've got a point to argue. Then yes, we may be entering into quite an expensive bet. But think of the content. Letess it's in new fet It says we're all trying to be the healthiest version of ourselves, but winter can make that a little bit hard. A my to tell me about it mornings are pitched black, Motivation is down. Sticking to your usual routine is so much harder. So much harder. hence why I love a shortcut, which is exactly what the New to naturals bone brots are. They are so damn good. How good are they going to have to say I do love my bone broth and I can be quite picky with my bone broth. Like we are with our coffee. picky. don't I only have so much liquid in a day. Have you seen Brian Johnson back on your Twitter fade? H girlfriend has endometriosis. and so when I I scrolling, I sometimes see updates about her endo. Well, here's the thing, yeah I mean, don' I was't going to jumpat into the middle of Oh sorry, no, but it's fine The one thing that I'm saying on my Twitter feed as well in the last couple of months that's positive about Brian Johnson is how much money they're investing into his partner, Kate's health and investigating her endometriosis. People are saying this is genuinely more investment in endO research than the world's ever seen. And if anyone's watching this on YouTube or Spotify, I currently have a heat pack on my stomach because of fucking endometriosis. Exactly. every time I say a word, I hear that ad It's the S's as well. I hear myself and I go I'm doing it adad. But back to quickly Brian Johnson. For those who are like, I've heard that name. I can't remember why I meant to know him. He's that guy who started his own donon't die movement at bio haacking? Yeah, he went viral after featuring in the Netflix Dcko Don't Die. He's forty eight, he's a tech entrepreneur. He made a bunch of money when he bought and then sold to Venmo Like he's got heaps of money. and so now what he's investing in is the concept of just becoming the first person to never die Good luck to him with that. Yeah, he thinks he's the healthiest person on the planet. Anyway, the reason I want to bring him up is because's to my Twitter fate There was a period over the summer break where he was all over my Twitter feed and that's when we spoke about him because he very long post about being reunited with his partner, Kate, and we spoke about it like. I have to be honest, it was a little nuts. He is big fan of his partner. and I'm a big, big, big fan of my husband, but he takes it to a level that is Intense. Well, do you want to say tweit the cama of my face this wee? Not that N that Not level of intensity So the first weight red. just gave Kate oral sex. good night everyone. Stop. Yep J gave one more time for the ladies at the back. Fr the top. Just gave gave orral sex. Good night everyone He does this to like Engagement bait a hundred percent. And it works. Of course it works. Doesn't you call her vagina the one percent? This is its second posted shortly after A hundred out of a hundred score One percent of all vaginas Y have. A hundred out hundred out of a hundred to hoo. So here's the thing, alongside the tweet, he posted what looked to be like a graph of Kate's vaginal health test results And so he posted this graph of where get going whereere we the results sit on the spectrum of global of people. I around the world getting their vagina. I decided Fuck me, Where we What Tessie? Hello, next week's episode. So she's a hundred out of a hundred. Do you have just any general thoughts on this? Be you can imaginely wonder what my v. I actually I don't wonder and I just don't care. You can imagine how it went down on Twitter. Yeah what people saying. Well, the New York Times Aes reported someone commented this man just posted his girlfriend's pussy stouts like a quarterly. Sorry, I know we're not allowed to say that word on this show, but I thought it was funny. when pronounced pussy stouts. What that assult on my head? Well, hey, AI companies take that That st that went happen for repurpose. Do you wanna find out your pussy stats? Make sure you click the link. This' so fucked I actually, anyway, so he's got power for that. I have no differentavid meaning than just the fact that I need to tell you that this has happened. Beyond that, he's also tweeting there's like three key themes for Brian Johnson in the last two weeks. and I don't know if this is just going become a regular segment about what's Brian Johnson doing put it up? I fear it maybe because I have no greatrand story to tell that the three themes of Brian Johnson's twit of aid. So Kate's one percent being one of those The second is Kate did a profile with Wall Street Journal and they think it went quite badly. So before the profile came out, they're trying to preempt this really hectically. hang on, take a step back girlfriend who I'm sure like to be clear Kate is not just Brian's girlfriend. She is a huge part of the Brian Johnson business machinery ecosystem. L she seems to be the one who has grown his profile exponentially. Yeah, theirir relationship, I think he's lent into quite a lot to grow his own profile too. So I can understand why she's being profiled. She's been profiled by the Wall Street Journal. Interesting and she bombed it That's what he tweeted, Kate just called me. She apparently bombed the biggest interview of her life The Wall Streate Journal has the exclusive to profile her The interest in our female health protocol is a powder keg of energy Every major publication has reached out in a typical neurodivergent fashion Kape prepared A game show on a whiteboard to explain who she is. Apparently the reporter wasn't very into it. Like being on stage with blank faces staring back, I told her not to sweat it. It's her first go at this, and this kind of outcome is inevitable. No need to reun the interview a thousand times in her head. She meets with the jouralist again on Wednesday. What advice would you offer up E what's happening? Well, either that or she didn't vomit. It went really well, but he's already ing this interview for us to read before it's out, which I actually think is kind of smart. Well, it's clever because now she's the underdog. evenven if she was never the underdog. she's positioned to the public as the underdog. And now we're all rooting for her second interview and we're rooting for it to be like a sympathetic portrayal of her in this Wall Street journal piece. Well, I'm gonna to read it now. I hundred story. Also, I love the little quirky aecde of her having a whiteboard and a game show about herself. hundred percent of that in our Wall Street journal interview. And I think now what people will rate this story for is how the journalist responds That's part of the story. So I say very metal, clever, right The lastast thing that's been going on Brian Johson's Twit of fate is he resents Australia. But as As an Australian. I know, I feel we need to talk about it. Has he been here? Yeah, he visited recently because Kate is Australian Bosnian. She was born in Queensland. So he went to Australia. He came here to see Kate's family. To meet her parents For the first time I'm flying, seventeen hours, he wrote. She is from Australia and international travel increases aging. But I love her, so it's worth the cost. Imagine your boyfriend's with about meeting your mum and dad. In another post after the trip. He wrote Jet lag increased my biological age by thirteen years traveveled across seven time zones, LA to Australia. He then proceeded to list all the ways his body plummeted and all the ways he will need to recover Oh my Godd, her parents probably hate him. Is that two bolds surely there'd be some interesting conversations. So now he's like There's I think it's not good for the brand of Australia that we're aging people by thirteen years and he hasn't even started on our son yet. I completely reject that. What? We are not aging people like that. Maybe if you then go back home come here and you feel free. Australia is gorgeous. There's no way he is living I don't know where he lives I love Australia. We are not aging people B thirteen years. Absolutely not. Maybe the plane here in back is, but you could fly here and stay here and live a very young, lovely life This is the thing though. he hasn't even mentioned the sunshine Quite a hars sn here. was' he in Queensland Hh Anyway, I have nothing else to add. is that fine? It's really quite a meaningless ly of tweets. That's what Fridays are for. That's what Fridayays for. And I'm really excited that I now understand why her vagina is referred to as the one percent because I'd seen it and felt confused, but you gave me the information I needed P he starts bab. something up after the break. Would it be the title of the episode? No, can't. It's gonnay sts It's going to go to spam then. Does that happen Matatats Cat stats. Cat stats. All right, coming up after the break, we're playing sllowews week. Let's see how Belly does this j home. Zaz, I've been wearing an Aura ring five lately and I'm absolutely getting the hype. Tell us what you're loving about it. I know there are lots of people that are obsessed with this Okay, so the support during your menstrual cycle is useful. Very, very useful as far as understanding your body. I don't know about you, but my cycle changes by a couple of days every month. So tracker apps don't do it all for me, but the Aura Ring five does. it predicts your periods as well as your fertile window. It's revolutionary, it can give you insights on how your birth control method works with your body as well. Well, I didn't realize as well that you can track pregnancy and get snapshots of your vitals and symptoms as well, which I find very interesting. Yeah, I love that. It also looks like a piece of jewelry. Giving it's the world's smallest smart ring, which is a massive bonus. Guys, if you want to learn more, head to auraing dot com d Thank you so much to Aura for making this episode of Shameless posossible. And's slow newswek. Ohkay, I'm winning by one. You're on two one on three. She was probably fair to be sassy because that was sassy about the game and its Doid you hate us Annabelle. She didn't say no. She just laughed. Allrighty Annabelle's first question for you. Yeah. This week, Malcolm and the middle star Frankie Muners announced his split from his wife of ten years pge. I saw this. It's all amicable, it seems. Yeah. They're still commenting nice things on each other's social posts Post split announcement. Sure. One of the socials Frankie posted after announcing that split was a video The people hated so much he had to delete it What was the video of You should Know this? They were dancing in the living room and I get two points because I answered it before the options. Correct. I thought it was gonna be and what color was the sweater that Frankie Munis was wearing in that video? I got nervous when he started mentioning the video becausecause I was like, that's the only fact I know. That was a good question, Belly. That's the level of difficulty we want and need. And I'm glad that Zara got two points. Wow. Let's see how she did for the rest. Oh de That's read the second question. you didn't read these before you came. No I didn't even know we were playingry M this who I got. R right. I wish the camera' on you. She was just shaking her head. She her arms are up. She's exated Furious with us. Second question.
