Thanks everybody Heybody Scoots here and I'm checking in with you in the Dep Dark Night and I'm talking about my goals for the show. Now Pascal recently signed up to support the show and said that they thought I was an old retired dude just doing this in my free time until they realized how many people and how much work it takes to make a podcast like this And then Pascal said, you know, I've spent tons of money on useless CRA to the P and stuff I didn't even need or never even worked. Man, I have to support this podcast. It's common sense. So if you share those goals, if you want to be a part of this thing, like Pascal, this show has brought you comfort relief made you feel less alone in the deep dark night. I'm going surprise some people who are spreading the word about the show, just letting people genuinely know about their experience with the podcast with subscriptions to Sleep withith Me pllus, maybe a personal video Maybe some stickers, who knows? So get out there and be surprised by scoots Thanks everybody. What do you say? We get on with the show Hey are you up all night tossing turning findind racing trouble getting to sleep, trouble staying asleep, Well, welcome This is Sleep withith Me podcast that puts you to sleep What we do is a bedtime story. All you need to do is get in bed, turn out the lights and press play. I'm gonna do the rest What I'm going to attempt to do is create a safe place where you could set aside Whatever is keeping awake. There could be thoughts on your mind, thoughts about the past, the present, the future, thoughts you're thinking about It could be feelings coming up for you, feelings related to those thoughts or feelings that are just there Mbe physical sensations, changes in time, temperature, routine You could be going through something, getting over something in the middle of something traveling, maybe work a different schedule Maybe you got a lot going on or maybe it's kind of one of those things you I just don't even know. Whatever it is, I'm glad you're here And the reason I run through some of that stuff is is kind of the opposite of when normally during the day it happens. it makes at least for me, it makes me feel likeike a little bit lonely But here and it may take some getting used to, it's a welcoming thing. I'm I'm trying to make you see be seen in an indirect way or heard or understood But in a way where there's not it's not shouldn't feel performative or participatory. you could just passively I don't know, is that possible to be He'd like to be seen and heard in a reflective way Okay or like where one of the walls absorbs it, you know, I know it's there You're having an understanding of me but it's absorbed in a wall on the other side of the room. So if I need it, I could u you know, go I know it's there. L because you're saying you want me to design something where I could, you know makeake you feel seen or heard or understood. and the wall will store it for you No, no, no, not exactly. I don't know if that would because then it have to decide orr you No, no, it's more like It's like molasses or something. You're like slower than. Yeah kind of look it's not stored there. It's just there It never made it's making its way to me But I could move around too and then I might have to hit another wall You know, it's like kind of like it's moving through some sort of foam slowly And I say, okay, it's over on that wall if I needed. And that's that could be a little bit confusing even for me as the they were not it believe it or not, they weren't able to design. They said sir this is an acoustics paneling company And I'd say I get that part. I get that part And so anyway didn't go anywhere. anotherother part, you know another confusing co lab But the reason I really run through all that stuff is because on this show here right now, this beginning of the podcast is when everybody's kind of and together at the same time in a comfortable way however anybody chooses to, but that I know what it feels like for me in all of the variety of sleep challenges I've had. And I know it's non positive experience for me anticipating it, experiencing it and experiencing it the the day after in the moment In the middle of the night, all those things are not easy for me. And I know what it feels like underneath all that And I don't know what it's like for you. I don't know what brought you here But I always wonder in an open way M there be some similarities or something we share evenven if it's the sense that even if our experiences are different, you say, well Non positive is a pretty good way to sum it up So that's one layer of how we're gathered together here But there's another layer, which is that There's enough people listening right now in this moment around the world at a nice safe comforting distance. that there's people who have been through something similar to what brought you here, something closely similar. or at least a similar feeling or a similar experience where they really do get where you're at And some of those people that are listening right now are wishing you well in this moment. They are sending you kindness and welcome across the deep Dark Kight. whether this is your first time listening your thousand time listening or, you know, you're listening for these two weeks. and then a couple of years from now, youll listen to the show and you need it again Whatever it is they're sending you. those well wishes right now because they do get it And they want to send you some comfort too U because they're glad you're here and they know the show helps them out And they also know Like how good it feels to send it in and a lot of people know, hey sometimes I'm going to need to receive He I'm going to need to know all those sleep and me listeners across the world are rooting for me right now. And that's actually these are actual facts I meanre There's not many facts on this podcast. The fact is There's people listening the show right now. Yeahah, they don't know you and yet it's indirect, but they do care and they are sending their caring to you And there's other people. If you're the one sending it out that are receiving it and I guess it is magic It's indirect magic. But it's real. So And it's important because we've all been there in at least in having a non positive experience. And I can laugh about it because I know There's some comfort there in this shared thing that that we are kind of supporting one another and that you deserve a bedtime where you can get the rest you need so your life is more manageable tomorrow bedtime you't have to dread. a bedime you could look forward to or at least feel neutral about or a bedtime routine that has things you enjoy in it. So it anchors you to say, well atast say I look forward to these things at bedtime. And that you know that there really is a community around the world U and and in all rebelliousness, we share something nice together And and we're sending it and receiving it and or doing both things or, you know, being passive is just fine So that's the thing because ideally, you get the rest you need on a regular basis where it's whether it's through this podcast or I introduce you to another podcast later on in the show That'll help you out So I'm gl you're here I hope we can help. The way the show works is I send my voice across the deep dark andonight I use lulling, soothing, Creaky dulcitones, pointless meanders and superfluous tangents. So I go off topic, I get mixed up They can forget what I was talking about then I'll go on another tangence And like filler words, all that kind of stuff. My voice is not traditionally soothing. It's crereeaky doll sid soothing or whatever that other word I said was. And when you first get to the show, Not only the Creeaky Duletononees pointless mananders and superfluous tangents might be confusing, but if you found this show through a search or recommendation or you just stumbled upon it Whatever brought you here, you probably had some expectation of what a sleep podcast would be orr maybe you tried other sleep stuff, whether it's sleep audio or anything else And then you're like, well, this show, this isn't what I expected. And that's normal. And if you if this is your first time listening to a sleep podcast or something O course you're going to be skeptical or doubtful because if you've been having trouble sleeping on and off and you've tried a bunch of different things. Probably at the point where you just want something that's going to work. And maybe you're a little bit like, man, I just want on this you know, I've tried a lot of things And I'm skeptical. I'm doubtful. and now you're going on and on and on It seemingly about nothing. And so the show does take some getting used to And most regular listeners who've been listening to the show twelve, thirteen years that support the show or that just started supporting show. I get emails a lot. it took two or three or four times Most people don't the people list them four times and then it works It's a pretty pretty steep hill, right? But at first I didn't like the show. The second time I listened, it was kind of like, what is going on here? And then the third time I listened either I fell asleep or I was like, o, I kind of get it. He's just hanging with me and kind of taking my mind off of stuff. It's like a bedtime story for kids, but a little bit more adult in nature, not so much content. Like I feel like he's on my level or, you know, maybe you're on like you you maybe at a slightly higher level than me. Let's just say I mean, like let me just say that in a non deprecating way Its like we're on the same level. We I get it but I'm a little bit more of Goofball like your goofy friend that goes on and on and on about nothing. particularly tonight We'll be talking. I mean, we already talked about something important. We could be involved in supporting other people throughrough the Orlando Park stop fundraiser But I'm also just gonna to be reading through instructions on brick building And that's not particularly engaging. It's not totally boring though either. and that's what works is like try to try to get your attention and take your mind off of stuff But that takes some getting used to. because at first if you thought this was going to be a sleep podcast with something more meditative or like a guru like or whatever. I mean, I can't even I'm going to be doing an episode about brick buildilding and again, my vocabulary Even though I've been working at it, this may be my fifth episode of brick building of done It's so great. So But that's what makes it work. It's like a imperfect friend. That takes some getting to you soon. Now if you discover you've listened two or three times and you're like, this is not the show for me You are not the sleep podcaster for me. the bedtime b friend for me whereere you already or know it now in your first listen. That's totally cool too It's actually good news because I can give you I have a website set up just for you in mind because you don't have to like me or the podcast And you don't have to like me or the podcast to deserve a good night's sleep and. so I have a website set up sleepwithmepodcast. com sllash no thank you And that has other sleep podcasts and sleepy stuff on there. But maybe if you're uncertain, that gives you a little bit more space to give the show a try because there's no pressure for it to work or for you to like it Bea you can just go to that website and start checking out other stuff And the great news with the world, you know, the internet and podcasting is there's a lot of different styles and this show is kind of its own style Check it out if it doesn't work out. but I'm glad you're here and I want to try to help you out if I can So That's one thing most people don't like me or the show And I take some getting used to. It's pretty funny, but it's like a took me a long time toil I set up that website and realized Oh Okay like it can help every I can at least try to help everybody out who listens. and steer in the right direction The other thing is this idea of passive listening or not like this is a sleep podcast that you kind of listen to, but you don't need to listen So it is like sound panels absorbing most of the sound or the energy, TV on in the other room. that's at a comfortable volume a show streaming under your pillow Faceiming a doll friend or friend on the phone know music across the breeze you know wind lightly through the trees, sand passing through your hands Nice water running through your toes. your feet or just the imagery of that kind of stuff or clouds in the sky. Nice you know, nice clouds u orr not, you know, I don't will clouds I mean, there's different I've done a lot of episodes about clouds And clouds, you're all pretty cool except, you know if you could if I unless I'm prepared, you know, keep some of that stuff Hold on to it for a few more feet. And they by the way, this is probably the not the best time to say thank you to a set of clouds or whether thing but u I was staying at a motel in an industrial area near an airport And so I had to go and had to go to the hotel early just because of my ride And then I was like, well, I might as well walk around for a few hours because I don' I don't want to stay in the hotel from two. until I go to bed And it was like a motel. So it wasn't like But so I was walking around and I got some good walking in because there's nothing I love more Swny It schoolool walking around there was actually one mall that was almost maybe Ray will talk about this Ray was with me. But anyway, u Okay att some point I was like, okay, I got to get dinner. It's a little early for dinner, but there's a place that look kind of good pick up dinner from and the clouds were coming and they waited now now I mean, ye know, no clouds are perfect. They waited tntill I almost got to my motel And I was about so worked out because I was able to pick up my pace And I went to the wrong place at first because there wass one more block, but I made it without getting soaked So thank you clouds. cant I am by the way, I am pandering to you to hope open to win some favors So what was this say? Oh, don't really listen to me. I mean, obviously. This is a sleep podcast I've been making since twenty thirteen U in it I'm not here to put you as sleep There is no pressure to fall asleep with this show. That's the reason the episodes are over an hour. so you don't have to wonder What if I'm not asleep in twenty minutes? pllenty episode to go And there's plenty more episodes that are out there for you to listen to U But there's also people listening who can't sleep at all who need a break during the day or they need something to listen to while they're at work or they need episode after episode after episode or they're waking up or early or in the middle of the night. So I'm here to keep you company, not not to put you to sleep. I'm here to set the mood for you to go to sleep or to take your mind off of stuff So you could just fall literally fall asleep or like drift off into dreamland indirectly. That's what the show iss about's very indirect It's a misdirect and it's indirect Be I'm here to be your boyfriend, your' bore bay, your bore sib, your bore bud, your bore b your borean Y Bor, your B Borlof, your chairman of the boards Um, you bore bra, your br b b b bro What was that? Y bore sib Y Boras Y best boyfriend forever and just keep you company and hang out with you That's what a boyfriend does so you could fall asleep or if you need me because that was other thing I really needed right was someone but no one could keep me company five, six, seven nights a week. So that's what I'm here to do. And again, we have three six hundred plus episodes So if you do me need me every night this year I can you can I can do that. You just see how it goes. The last thing I like to run through for new listeners or people that are returning. We don't really we haven't really changed the structure of the show a long, long time, but the show structured in a specific way And like every podcast, it is adjustable or there's some options This version of the show just benefits the maximum amount of people the show can And again, go back to that indirect community message. That's great can help out because this show is different and people people that do enjoy it. like I never knew something like this could exist or that I I didn't know to look for something like this And that's why it's important to be available to the max amount of people that could benefit because it doesn't work for everybody So show starts off with the grading F friends Beyond the Binary, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls So you feel seen welcomed in and maybe I say something silly. so you say, oh okay, I get the tone of the show too. I'll check it out then after that a support So the paying for the shows optional Because most people don't want to pay for a podcast, right? and especially if you're if you're not going to like it's not for you or you don't listen every single night Don't listen, you know, so yeah And if you prefer some of them ads or you listen all the time, you can get that and sleep with mee pllus But for most people, this version works Then after the support totally separate from the support is a show within a show The intro to the podcast, it takes fifteen to twenty five minutes of me and gently explaining the structure like why like explaining how the podcast works And I follow a familiar structure every time, but every intro is different so that whatever keeps you awake has something new every time. and this is kind of the part of the show where I ease you into bedtime where I slowly help you wind down and get comfortable. So most people are getting ready for bed in bed getting comfortable or winding down in some manner So the intro is not designed to put you to sleep. If it does put you to sleep, please consider supporting the show. Or if you find you don't like the intros, you like the podcast, but not the intros. We have a podcast set up bedtime Stories from Sleep withith Me with just the stories, the greeting in the stories. Then u what else u What am I forgetting structure the show. Okay. so the intro goes on and on and on to e into bedtime to be like a buffer between being awake and asleep Then after that be some sport, then we'll have our brick building episode And all told I'll be here for about an hour to keep your company and take your mind off so so you could fall asleep. And if you're new, I'm glad're here, give the show a few tries. If you're coming back, you know, during a tough time, I'm hopeful I can keep helping you out. And if you listen a lot You listen all the time or work nights or school nights or weeknights And this podcast greatly improves your life. You would miss this show if it was gone and you're willing Um likeike you're the people like really do help us keep making the podcast and And these are the ways you see, yes, that's me. I want to be a part of this Yeah, you could either check out these sponsors or support the show directly. Thanks. You're the only one listening It really does come down to you If you share those goals, supporting the show right now. And that's by going to sleepbpodcast. com slash plus signing up to support the show or writing yourself a note, putting it on where you get out of bed to spread the word about the show or support the show tomorrow. So love it for you to be a part of this. either by spreading the word or supporting the show at sleepingepodcast dot com slash plus. Thanks All right, this is Scoots still recording, building a CTX time Rover from blocks from the Dino Institute as part of our Orlando Park stop fundraiser for the Trevor project. If you're listening us in June in June or in this episode Late June to July you'll still have a chance if you're following us on social media to win one of these kids along with some sleeping me swag If you're donating to the Trevor project as part of the Olando park stop fundraisarch is just follow the instructions I've been putting out. And we're picking up on step twenty five where we're wor we're working. we've got a either the like a we're working with a rectangle U with with bricks. And I don't I also can say this' a rectangle. I don't know what the rear of the vehicle. I don't know the rear of the vehicle from the front. or the left or the right from the front. But what I can say right now is where the rectangle will be in front of us just like a phone would be vertically versus horizontally but lying flat flat vertield flat vertical so that the bottom southern and closest to us is u has a bumper, a straight yellow and black stripe bumper in the side of the vehicle on our left West side has a stripe bumper. And we just put like a little bit of something. I think this is going to be the back of the vehicle, but So we're continuing on to step twenty six on step twenty six. we're going need two tal Um of like modified not I don't know if it what kind of what do you call this decorative brick That's kind of like a half circle orre an arch very small one by one until. We're going to need two of those we're going to need two modified plates that have two modified decorative plates that are one by two s that have like two lines in the top. It kind of looks and it's like beveled Bu modified Bevel build line two line and top plate And then two one by one Oh that was a tile. That was a tile I was referring to earlier modified tile My Ne up, we're going to need one by two plate in white and that modified tial is white as well, both one each of those And again, we're going to go to the southern end of our time Rover And u right in the middle So the two open pips closest I mean, in the closest to our belly button the modified no, not to modified. we're going to put the one by two plate So there should be two open pips, put that on top of those two open pips abbove that, put the modified plate No the modified tile. Yeah, this' just confusing for sure So you' can going put that modified tile there. And then on the left and right of that modified tile, You're going to put the teal arches So that the arch part runs right to left and the flat part runs north to south or top to bottom Are those head heads heads headrests something else. I don't know, but u So I think we got that twenty six done Oh boy, twenty seven. we're going to continue this process. So we're going to need two more teal blocks She all no, I'm sorry Shell u like decorative one by one half circles And one one one by two white Th those are teL the two things we need two of and then One by two tile beed the one we just used modified tile thing two things and we're going to put those again, closest to our belly button two center open pips. We're going put that modified tile on there and then to its left and right those teal thingsings are lining up with the other ones So that's what we're doing there And maybe one maybe complete. I don't know. mayaybe the back or the front side of our rover is complete. who knows Okay, now we're going to start to work on the right. easastern side of the vehicle And I believe this is going to be a repeat of a process we did before, but it's been a weeks for me been a month for you. So I have no idea So we're going to start in the bottom right ra like what we'll call the rail or the step of the the right side of our vehicle. There should be a row from It runs north to south or south to north. on the furthest right side eastern side of this vehicle, this rectangle And the first few pips that are open are all white And here's what we're going to gather. a one by one white plate a one by two white plate, a one by one white brick and a one by two white brick placeace them I don't know if this is what we did on the other side. F, So the furthest the lowest T t to open pips on the furthest right southern Southeastern Pip So the furth the southeastern pip and then the second furth the southeastern pip So running from south to north, there should be two pips we're talking about. firstirst on that we're going to put the one by two Ch And then on top of that, we're going to do the one by two brick Then on the pip above that north of that. So the third Southeasternmost Pb Furthest to sou south furthest pip if Southeastern is pip and not in the, you know, you you know, United States or anywhere else just on this anangle we're working with in this moment We're going to do the opposite. So first or you could preassemble it. We're going to put the brick down And then the plate on top of the brick So getting some styling going it should all be flush Okay. then we're going to do some fender, you know, not we're going to work on some fenders or something like that Mud flaps And we're going to do we're going to have a yellow bright Cary yellow with four open pips on the top to something that looks like a wheel well I think that's the term I was looking for all along and a one by one white plate And on top of those southern on top, not on top of a spaghetti all covered with cheese. We're not losing any meatballs here But on top of the now on top of the two southern most southeastern most exposed pips, which are raised up now. We're going to put going from south to north the wheel well Cary wheel well. so it's overhanging the right side of our vehicle And then the third southern eastern pip exposed Southeastern pip six third south, you know, like going to put that one by one brick Okay Zen We're going to do some more work on here, right? a decorative work. We're going to do one by one tile that a one by one modified break Now this modified brake has a pip on top And we're going to put that tile on top of the brick. Just might as well do it now because it's only going to get more confusing from here This is what I'm calling one of those portal on the front Sir put it on the third once again, we just put something where we just put that white tile. plate onene by one plate. You can't put anything on the tile scoots. You're right about that. So now has a tile on top though. We're going to put it on the exposed plate, which would be the third southern southeastern mostost pip Th to the right of like then to the right of those row pips. Oh boy. I'm actually no no, that is the third Southeasternmost pip Now it's going to get Yeah because dude now we're going to move to the right to the the furth the south southeasternmost two pips, which are to the right of that one pip and down on those we're going to put a must the mustard fender thing on top to match some one on the other side. And then much like we did on the other side We're going to assemble like a decorative piece that could be a headlight or a tail light or something doesn't lightite up. So we're going need two One by one tiles blue, two one by one tiles white And one, one by one wedge plate, I guess, technically, no tile And then we're going to make that into a little tower matching the one on the left side. So it'll go On the bottom one by one white tile, then a blue tile, then a white tile, then a blue tile, then our wedge We're going to attach that to the porthole So that the wedge u is matches the one on the other side. And it kind of looks like if those wedges had if those wedges had eyes and those eyes could talk could callor me amazed, you know, but the guys could be looking up at us instead of looking down I say, shouldhn't you be watching the road? I said, man, we don't even have eyes. So we're just we're just like u were decorative bricks, man. alsoso this this whole ride was on a rail So don't worry about it. Okay, got it. It wasn't on a rail. I don't now I'm recalling. I'm not sure it was or wasn't. Uh trying to picture. I don't think there is a rail. Are you sure about that buddy, I'm not sure by anything. Can we just keep assembling me though? You got it. So we're going to continue to assemble the right hand side of our vehicle. We're going to need five And these are pieces we've already used before. Mustard yellow L shaped plate tiles with two portals side by side And those are kind of I'd call them bumper holders if I had to Mbe if you held me to it, five of those And we're going to start those I think technically on the the southernmost exposed pip, southeastern mostost exposed pip and run them north And if you've done it correctly according to the picture and not my instructions Then there'll be three pips in the N Northeastern hemisphere right right top side that don't have any mustard yeella bumper holders But these are going underneath by the way, on the lower on the bottom side of the superstructure Okay, then we're going to continue some work on that side. You may let's do this. Let's let's do let's do rotation right now So we're going to rotate. We're going to take our hand or hands or have our you know, someone else do it And we're going to rot so we're facing R rectangle And it's point, you know, it's bump southern bumpers point the old Southern bumpperer is currently it's a southern bumper It's pointing towards our belly button. or just or where we're sitting. awwesome, ideally We're going to rotate it clockwise forty five degrees forty five, ninety. I know, three hundred sixty is a circle. So ninety degrees. Yeah, let's do it all the way ninety degrees So now we got ourselves a horizontal rectangle And those porole those mustard yellow portholes are facing us or whatever those are yeah, those are a form of mustard yellow And we're going to do some work. We're going to continue work on this rail like exposed rail if we if we want to call it that. I think this is like the stepping area egress we' get in and off the ride Okay, so we're going to need three black or gray, dark gray tile one by one tiles One, one by one black wedge or dark gray which I'll continue to refer to interchangeably for extra ls Th a one one one by two stle These are tiles, right? Yeah. They're not plates. They don't have plates Pip on top style Nile tips on top, Nil tips on top. That's such an easy way to remember it Pause just be left in on burpose style Nile on top s at all It just has a receptors Okay, what else do we need? O one by one break Dark raare black. And we're going to take our wedge. We're going to put that on top of a one by one break. So that it now that we've rotated our vehicle, right we have to readjust our l. I mean, I'm not going to change my language, but You know, everything's changed. It's a whole new beginning here So our left are, but in some sense, we're talking about still talking about the most souther souther southwestern exposed pip That's not a porthole U we're going to put that one by one brick with the wedge on top so that the wedge if you were sliding down the wedge, you'd slide to the right side So you'd slide the brick on the right hand side as no one would ever sing I mean, if it was a slide, I wouldn't recommend it because I don't know I don't know anything about scale, but u So I think you know what I mean? because it's also you could always check the other side of the vehicle so it matches But that's the southwestern exposed pip or the bottom left exposed pip The next pip we're going to leave open. then the next two pips we're going to cover in one by one tiles. then we're going to leave a pip open. Then we're going to cover the next two pips in a one by two tile They we're going to leave a pip open And then we're going to do another one by two tile And those should line up with the taller pieces that are maybe the backs of the vehicles or where you put your stuff. I don't know Or maybe those are the seats So that's that's what we did there Okay, we're moving on to thirty four Moving on to thirty four for thirty four, we're gonna need three onene by one white plates plate because's a pip on top. as I'm trying to help myself remember. and we're going need five tiles that are one by two u black and white striped And with those black and white trip tiles we're going to cover all the ptholes. So it looks like, hey, don't put, you know, don't kick this part of the vehicle and then If we starting from left to right or west to east to southern mostost there should only be three exposed pips If we're working from left to right orast west to east put those three white onene by one tile no plates because there's a pip on top on those exposed points. excellent, excellent work great work. Okay, we're going to continue the assembly. So we're going to stick with those because technically those three pips are still exposed. We just put another pip on top tile which has no plate because it has a pip on top. By the way, this is just the way my brain operates. This is not a bit. I really am getting this confused every time. Okay, now we're going to get these are modified bricks just to give you heads up to prepare you one by one Um Doubleles double height brick. I don't know. one by one brick White bricks with a double port hole vertically modified bricks with one side has double vertical double porthole or you say those are pips. Why are those pips hollowed out? I don't understand that either. Is that for aesthetics or is it serve some purpose We don't know, but we're going to put those three bricks one by one modified brick with maybe double height or one and a half times height. It's got two portal pips Robert O three and exposed bitips running from left to right that we just worked on. Okay, now just give you heads up. We're going to be working on an area we haven't worked on this episode We've worked on it before though, obviously because we have everything has a pip almost everything has Still have some open pips that have never been black before. We're going be working on the left The open pips on the left side of the vehicle running from north to south or south to north, they're dark gray or dir dirt brown We're going to gather more of though. So we're going to get three one by two tiles because they have nile Hips on them. And then three one by two Wedge style sort to add it Yeah, and now Okay the first thing we're going to do, remember we're looking at a horizontal rectangle at this time We're going to take what you'd say how is this how is it possible But if you go all the way to the left or all the way to the west, And you find the furthest southern bottom exposed pip. It will be a dark brown pip. on a plate And we're going to run those three C B. Tyiles Nile Tile We're run those three tiles from south to north or north to south vertically for us Horizontally if you're looking at the vehicle vehicle vertically, but because we're looking at the vehicle horizontally, these are vertical Okay, then in front of those running from south to north or north to south. we're going to put the three wedges So if you were sliding down the wedges, you'd slide From west to east you you'd sit at the top of the tiles we just placed and you slide down the modify or the wedge tile kind of land in your seat almost. Not a good idea except to try to describe where the bricks go And in a sense, we've redefined where the southern mostost osed pip is because now all those pips are covered as well That was step thirty six. Holy mooly. So this one Holy God, they really are keeping me I have no Okaykay. So we're going to move from thirty six to thirty seven But first we're going to have to rotate our vehicle Holy I mean, Okay, I think I can do this. I mean, remember, I did my brain does work differently from a lot of people's So this is not these just things aren natural to me, which is what makes extra sleepy, which so it's like taking something That's a challenge of making it a positive together So you would think this would be straightforward for a lot of people. We're going from step thirty six to thirty seven. The first thing we're going to do Soough is we going to rotate our vehicle We're going to rotate our vehicle one hundred and eighty degrees, I believe. So we're going to to ninety degrees at a time clockwise So in our first rotation U All the exposed pips majority of exposed pips will be on the southern side near our belly button. moving north and a vehicle will be vertical But then we're going to rotate another ninety degrees I don't think that worked actually. No H Um, hm M a loss right now ninetiney Oh, okay h. This is u Okay Just switching back and forth here just to see Just a okay. so I just we over we over adjust it is what I'm saying So let's do this. Let's forget every. I mean, so let's just pause where we are. We did not complete our rotation right If we did We're going to undo our rotation. Some of you that may be simple, but if you're like me, we'll go through it Currently, we're fifty five percent away. through a rotation I was trying to walk you through, which was a mistake two ways to get back. One is just to go counterclockwise ninety degrees. Now if you actually moved your vehicle one hundred and eighty degrees, youve got a couple options. You can move it counterclockwise one hundred and eighty degrees And I think if you move it clockwise another one hundred and eighty degrees, it'll be back where we start where we started this whole thing since the last rotation And I think that's correct. So So basically for, you know, like u So again, we should have on the left Western side We should be looking at a horizontal rectangle. That's like' getting less and less rectangular. Its really could becoming something But on the left or western side We should have a bumper as well as bumpers on our north and southern side edges or, you know ends But on our right easastern side, we should just have exposed pips Okay So That was was unnecessarily confusing. perfect for bedtime though But we're going to continue to work actually the work we did before. It's just a different angle and it threw me off. So this is when, you know This is why I do these things Okay, so step thirty seven, technically we haven't done anything We're going to need six tiles because they've n modified Beveled black one by two tiles with two, you know, with two notches Tiles. We're need six of those and we're going to need six of these L One by two L shaped bracket type tiles that we used for the bumper, but these ones are going to be kind of sandy or muddy color Okay. so the first thing we're do so these those like brackets have two port holes, right We're going to cover all the por holes with are u tiles or bevel tiles And then we're going to put these brackets so that the the tiles So we're going to run these brankets from north to south U but so that the the Don'try I'll do more explaining. Just yeah, good, good so that If you run so that u the u explain this. So we're going from north to south or south to north north to south or south to north And the beveled Siles are going to be facing the bumper the left western side of the vehicle And we'd run those north to south and or south to north on the Brown. two north to south darker brown rows of tiles. in front of us It'll make it makes sense. And it's, you know, part of the vehicle. It's I don't know what it is. I think it's o, it's where you lower the thing to say, o, okay, I'm going to feel more confident on this ride now. Okay. So that's done. Now it does leave us on the top of the brackets with again another setet of north to south tile Pips exposed Pips So on top of those on step thirty eight, we're going to get six One by two wedges, six of those that are the same color we've been using, dark sandy brown those north to south or south to north on those same exposed pips that are the brackets so that if you're sliding on the wedge, you'd be sliding to the right side of the vehicle to the eastern side away from the bumper on the left side sllide down the breke on the right hand side in this case. Okay. Okay, we got it. Now we're on step thirty nine thirty nine. we're going to complete this door side of this the southern side of the vehicle So we're going to take Thats't nine It does No, it's a six. So six, one by two piles that are white because they have nile Sn top Okay, you're going get six of those and then three one by two quarter twenty five percent pie twenty five percent of a pie piece. O is that a tile or brick? I mean, it's got no pips on the top. So I guess it must be I mean, by your definition, it must be a tile, but it's kind of a C we call it a modified breke? I don't know. I think a modified breke has modified pips It's kind of like a wedge. It's a pie piece Yeah, it's like a pie piece if you're it's twice the twice it's two two two things So one by two Yeah, it's a one by two piece white pie piece tileas has no exposed pips Yeahah, it's double the size of a turvil pursuit tile Okay, so you're going to place those. So basically we're going to do is we're making the doors or the doorway. place those on front of the por So we have these Facing are looking right at us actually are these poroles, right So we're going to do the same thing we did on the other side. We're going to put those to each on each board I was going to get a One by two tile that are running horizontally and not vertically above like so we have two parallel lines but with h like gaps for egress or ex I don't know, gress egress. of on for I think it's I don't know which side of the vehicle. it's gress for the ingress side I don't even know ingress is a word Then above that we're going to put the pieces So it'll match at least we have the other side because I probably did a better job describing it. maybe. I don't even know Now you may start to notice, hey Scoots we're running out of pips here t have a lot of exposed bits. should make it easier for you to describe things that say let's find out So next up is step forty and step forty we're going to have a one by T plate That's white, a one by two plate that's black or dark gray and then a T by No, yeah Two by, one, two. four five, six plate That's white Now This is you're not going to believe this because it's going to sound ridiculous, but u If we're being technical and I can see everything The southwestern mostost exposed two pips are pretty close to the right side of the vehicle And then the south eastern exposed two pips are they're all right in a row, right? There's only four southern exposed pips running from left to right or west to east. So we're going to put first If you're running from west to east, you're going to do the one by two black plate and then the one by two white plate If you're running from East to west, you'll do the two the one by two white plate and then the one by two dark gray plate They did do that on purpose, just throw an extra confusing color And then If you look like use the two plates that we just placed and you go down the middle above that raised up Um, running vertically from us is a set of six is a bl brick that's two by six. put that two by six plate right on top of that brick Then what we're going to do is grab another two by six plate and just put it right on top of that for forty We're going to start forty one off directly with one by a two by six plate on top of the two by six plate we just placed And we're going to get a one by two plate and a one by two brick. and We're going to go all the way to the south and we're going to first we're going to place the one by if we're working from west to east We're going to take the southern twoost pips and cover those with the one by two white plate and then to the right of those Heading east, we're going to put the one by two break or if we're working from east to west placeace the one by two breick first and then the one by two plate second Excellent excellent excellent work. I mean holy holy cow. never seen anything like it Okay. now this one is interesteresting. I may have to break this into two steps for us Okay. so we're going to do forty two A and B here was just I'll just tell you forty two So we're gonna start forty two off. We're going to have a a one by two plate and then a one by two brick both white We're going place a one by two plate on top of the one by two brke, presem a little pre assembly action And then We're going to go to the southwestern most exposed pip in the second southwestern most exposed pip pretty much on the right side. There's only two pips exposed to them and we're going to place that one by two brick play brick plate combo on top of it And you'll notice that it drops down to another one by two brick plate combo right after it Okay, thenen we're going to get three One by two. tiles, modified tile, beveled tiles with the notches And then those are black or dark gray. then three of these bracket things we've been using, but they're different this time they're black or dark gray. They' like a L shaped bracket. They get two pips on front And we're going to take those pips and we're going to do the same thing we did with the dark gray ones. We're going to cover the portholes with the beveled plates And yeah, we're going to get that done there And then we're going to place those just like we placeac the other ones running north to south and l and we're to run those north to south or south to north And basically what we're going to do is we're going to see that one by six double plate on top of a brick action. what no two by six. place it on the left western. North to south or south to north row and it'll be parallel to the other two things we did. So it makes sense in context Okay, then we're going to do some more wheel welling So we're going to get the same remember the other wheel wells we did. So it's a canary yellow like fender type thing with so two by four Two by two And then we got like an arch piece that's like a little bit more of a mustard yellow. Repplace that mustard yellow arch piece and the southern and the Will wellell left to right pips and then we're going place that And on our vehicle on the Southernmost Eastern two Pips where the right low lower right side, lowest right side to two pips bottom right pips And it shouldn look like we're going to Oh, we're making a vehicle. Okay. I see that now Okay, now we're going to u now we are going to rotate u And we're going to rotate our vehicle clockwise ninety degrees. for step to start step forty four. Take your vehicle rotated clockwise. ninety degrees so that no bum are near your belly button. You got a bumper on the left. you got a bumper on the right, the stried bumpers and a bumper on your north side But nothing near our belly button in our southern bottom side Okay for this boy, I' I don't know if I've ever worked with these particular bricks before, but we won't get to it yet. We'll start off with two more L shape bracket pieces. gray black. Actually they are dark gray I'm seeing Let's say they're more of a charcoal because I may or I don't know. I don't know my you know,. So we'll just say they're charcoal. If you're working out of a kit, you actually have a chance because So those are One by twoos, right And how do I explain this because I have no idea U We're going to place those side by side O the under under on the undercarriage, it presumably we're assembling what may or may not be a bumper or license plate or something But they're not going to be on the left side or the right side. They're going to be in the middle together. So let me see if I can add some context with these other bricks. If you did it, you probably did it right. If not, you may have to disassemble if you're now working off of instructions, but that's fine Okay. so what the next pieces we're going to get are U two One by two double sided. Mified brakes Double size modified brick So it has four poroles Two vertical sets of face pips or portholes And, uh, And then we're going we're can also find one gray, light gray one exact same one by two double side double size or one and half size Four portth holes. So a square of portholes. Okay, so we have Now what we're going to do is we're going to look at the left side of our Let's no, no, let's not look at anything. Let's look at the southern bottom row of exposed pips, right? and those should be Um like you should should be a white one by six Oh no, should be like a white I don't know what's down there plate or plate Bob. I guess it has to be a plate But there should be a row of exposed white Well Pips And then if you went all the way to your right, it would drop down one level, one plate level to a dark gray or black exposed pip So once you take that right southern right which should be a dark black or charcoal, then move to left of that, right? Those should all be One plate level up white pips And we're going to place the First we're going to place the one by two SQad porthole brick so the portholes are facing our stomach or south Then the light gray one, then the other white one and they should be flush even level wise with the other stuff we've been working on And they should be so we should have a bunch of portals staring at us then below that Like so basically our u What do they call those like I knew what they' called and I forgot theseese square pieces what are they called Wh come I forgot that word, whatever the L shappe brack brackets as a word Bard holes on front. They'll like be meeting connect like are there St'll meet in the middle and the mitt will know the middle because the middle of our vehicle will be right in between to or the four Porthol's un light gray porole thing And that'll be on the other side where it' we'll be able to fix it because it's just I think you got it though. like we're basically attaching. oh yees. So then we're attaching the next thing the next part of the bumper Okay that's forty four. Great job. Okay. so now we're working on something else, a bumper. So we're going to need one U one by two tile like a great tile. not the greatest tile. But it's like a great style tile, light gray. And then two one by one barrel barrels, I guess it's a break because it has a pip on top mean by my new language And so now what we're going to do is we're going to cover on the left So basically on that thing of the bracket thing on the left and right sides of the left and right or west and east most exposed pips will put the barrels. in the middle of that will place the great Okay thenen we're going to move on to step forty six St step forty six. we will need A plate because it has pips on top. It's a one by one two ree Oh boy, I hit the wrong button One, two Three, four, five, six one by eight like mustard yellow Maybe even Glden Rd. I don't know. I haven't used that term Well late now So that's a plate. a one by eight plate Okay And then we're going to take And we've done this before. So it's not unprecedented. We're going to take there's a one by two wedge brick thing Um And we're going to put that on the bottom Basically just copy the other bumper we did to be easier thoseose are basically going to go on the bottom of the plate so that they kind of make like a I don't know, nice wedge Th we're going put four onene by two yellow and black stried tiles on the rest of the front. so it matches the other bumper. We're going to attach that to the barrels Then We're going to get a clear el or greenish or mint colored one by one plate that's transparent somewhat transparent be transparent about one thing. My Bke language is limited And then a one by two plate modified plate that's beveled with two notches Okay, so we're going to be working Wow, this is advanced level stuff. Holy cow. I don't know if I could it's good thing this is This might be the I mean, if you thought I had trouble before. Okay, this is it's possible It's not difficult. It's just difficult for me to describe So here's what I want you to do We got our bumper right? St at your belly button, then, you know, look down like you're you're doing some n let's do some naval gazing. This is one of the most ig like People that dislike the me of the podcasts talk about. So let's do a little navvel gazing together. Okay, then we're going to look up for our navvel, slowly, raaise your gaze till you see the bumper of your vehicle. within or within your, you know, withsin the theater of the mind. u You're going to see the bumper of the vehicle on the southern side of our rectangle that's now vertical We see a striped to bumper Okay, then we're going to move up from the bumper raising our view And what we'll see is four squares of portal pips or you know, a combination of them Four white portals, four dark gray charcoal portals, and four white portals Okay So what like let's refer to this as Bor Hul hundred descriptive conundrum. So we're going to talk about we're going to deal we're going to be dealing at this moment If you look at all those port holes as a whole The lower left furthest lower left porthole which will be on one of the white quad porthle bricks So the lower left one Okay, I want you just put your finger there Okay would on your I guess Y left finger, okay? evenven if it's not your dominant this may be difficult for because I'm a Lfty, but your left finger is going to be on that porthole Portthole to the right of it So that would be the lower right if that's just a quadrant of portholes. you're going to put that transparent brick transparent. Pate one by one greenish transparent bl Now this is can blow your mind. to left of that plate we just placed whereere our finger is You're going to place that one by two It mean it's good thing it has visual instructions you could check, but the one by two modified pl Beveled played so that it goes to the left so like only one pip It'll only be grounded on one pip And then the other one will be against a non, you know, non pipped face But it'll look good. That's the whole thing. It's like making it look good. So this is for this is for aesthetics. and So if you were on the lower if you were on the lower Pips portle Pips, now we would only have four lower exposed porthle pips PPs T greayin too white which will make our progress. So that's where we're going to keep we're going to go back to the the green transparent one by one plate. And on top of that, we're going to put a somethingomet I have no idea what to call it even. We have two of these in our kit. It's a One by one modified plate because it has a little It's like a spindle plade You're going to put that on top of the plate the green u greenish u transparent plate Then to the right of that we're going to put a gray one by two gray gr plate And then to the right of the gray gr plate, we're going to put another one by one spindle plate U it yeah. And then so we should only have one right porthole exposed now And then Um This is stuff forty eight, but it's kind of forty eight A and B. Then we're going to get a one by two white plates. and a one by two white brick. And we're going to do some of the similar work we had done on the left side. So we're going to put So we're leaving the porttholes for now. Okay. so we're going to set aside the portolals. We're going to go to the furthest So we're no longer going up. We're working back on the flats. you know what I'm saying? Probably not. but These are like exposed these these are ones that have not been we haven't worked with on the right the southern right side. So the south Eastern We should have only like exposed fbs that are black or dark gray moving from south to north place the one by two white plate on those first southeastern And the second smoth southeastern PIips but a one by two plate. the North that but a one by two break moving from north to south or I guess you can move south to north Okay. thenen We're going to do another wheel well. So we're going to get. well first let's do this. let's No it might be easier Let's replicate the wheel well from the left side. So it would be the Cary yellow Willwell saying and the mustard yellow arch thing put that on the on top of a white one by one one by two break And then you're going to put that on the one by two plate we just placed And then everything should be someomewhat flush I think Yeah, that's step forty nine Okay, now we're going to move to step fifty We' be working We're going go back to some porthole work, okay? And what we're going to need is a white One by one it We're going to take that white one by one plate. We're going to place it above The spindle plate that's on the left side Pthole The second porthole white open porthole So they like if we place it, it's right above the spindle But then to left of it'll be open porthole, like an Iy saying hello Then to the right of that, we're going to place a one by two Beveled. plate with the notches Then the right of that, we're going to place a one by one Red transparent plate Okay. so we got that That's fifty. Th then we're also going to take three one by two. P plates y because it pips on time And we're going to look at our wheel wells, right? And we're going to have two yellow or Canary yellow things are going to be exposed. So we're going to put two of those onene by two on top of the Cary yellows. and then on the right side we're going to have two exposed pips north of the Cary yellow We're going to put another one by two plate there so it's all level So then our whole wheel well, everything' starting to look really level now And then if we're looking at our front of our thing, we have only three exposed pard holes left And then we're going to move on to the next step. We're going to take a one by one white blade Pl said over the red. transparent one by one No, no one by one tile white tile as Nile play play pips on top of that red plate Okay, then below it to the right We're going to get another one by one white tile modified with the notches And we're to place that in the same place that we did on the left side on the right side So now we' only have two port holes exposed that was like two eyes of our vehicle for the vehicle' like, hello I'm a car. I don't have very much personality right now. But you're working on it Okay, then we're going to take a one by a two by a plate Hips on top, plate two by two, four, six, eight a white two by eight Late And we're going to place that horizontally. cross from left to right or from west to east There should be eight two by eight exposed rectangle plates abbove our little eyes We again, now we're working on the base, you know, we're working on level area, not on the frontal area. And we're replace that there. And I think it'll be now level with the black or dark gray right angle pieces. Okay, now remove step fifty two. Okay, so For step fifty two, we're going to close out our eyes of our car So on the right side Boy, On the right boardthole we're going to place a one two by two Tile, white tile
