You'll find me across social media at FPL General. We have a Saturday this weekend, 11 o'clock UK time, with lots of teams playing twice. So hopefully an exciting game week in store. This episode I will do a very brief game week review. I'll skip the stats and the watch list from last game week. And we'll focus on looking forward with questions, captain C, and my latest free hit draft. If you want to support me and get more content along the way, there should be a link in the description for a seven day free trial. We start with a quick review of the last game week. I used one free transfer and I rolled the other one. I sold Mateus Mane. I bought in Jared Bowen for a very sweet 14 pointer. It's good to have you back. Went from 640k to 430k. So 200k Green Arrow. inside the top five hundred K for the first time this season. So hopefully we're peeking at the right time. and we can claim a little bit more in these final few game weeks. Had a quick look on livefpl.net. I am 57 points away from the top 100k. 77 points away from the top fifty K. Not that I'm trying to get there. More of an idea for some of you of the gaps between certain ranks. The trips ended up on 75 points thanks to Bo and Thiago up front scoring goals and getting lots of assists. Fernandez captain blank well he got four points or at least it wasn't nothing four pointers from Elliott Anderson Cole Palmer and Gabrielle The big one was Nico O'Reilly in defense with 14. We got good news from Pep today that Nico O'Reilly is fine ahead of the Arsenal fixture. So good news in particular for those who set up for a bench boost this week and have O'Reilly as part of that. Doesn't look like you need to make a transfer there. Missed out on Amy Martinez. He got injured in the warm up and Jose Sag came off my bench for a one pointer. I benched Ekitiki, and now he is out for the season with a very unfortunate Kelly's injuries. We wish him a speedy recovery. And that'll be a transfer for me to deal with after free hit, because my free hit is going to be played this weekend. Then I'll get my team back. as it was last week for game week thirty four, and the plan is triple captain on a Manchester City asset in double game week thirty six once that gets confirmed. On to the question section. A couple came in from FPL Brooklyn. Should we gamble and go without Nico O'Reilly? And if so... Is the upside of Cherky the best move? So this question came in before we got the positive update from Pep. Nice to actually get a positive update from Pep for a change. He usually doesn't give much away, but it sounds like O'Reilly's gonna be alright. You know, still not guaranteed that he plays both games. But it looks like he'll certainly play this Arsenal one. If I think no matter what your strategy is, whether you have O'Reilly or you're thinking about getting on a free hit I think he's the best Manchester City asset to own at the moment in terms of his out of position prospects. How cheap he is. I don't think you go without him this game week. Cherokee I do like a lot. I'm gonna have Cherkey in mine, but that's because I don't have Erling Halland, so I've got an extra Manchester City spot. But I would certainly go O'Reilly over Cherkey. Maybe both is the right answer. Uh, Brooklyn went on to ask, are there any single game weakers besides Bruno Fernandez that we need? Do we even need Bruno Fernandez? So I'm just gonna go all in. On the free hits, eleven double game workers. probably would try and do the same if I was if I was on a bench boost, although you may have a couple Bruno, Gabrielle, Thiago, etcetera, who are good season long holds, but There's only a couple gameies left. I think have fun with the chasy upside. Get as many double game markers as you can. So I will not have Bruno this week, so this will be the only week I don't have 'em. There is Chelsea away on paper, so it's certainly not a gimme fixture. So I'm quite happy to take on Bruno this week. hope that my midfielders that have two fixtures can at least match him and even better still out score him. There's other good options that only have one fixture this week that you might be reluctant to lose. Jared Bowen is a way to Crystal Palace. like to do a bit of partying after the European game. Tottenham fans won't like to see that. Asenville have a home fixture against Sunderland. That looks good on paper for players like Oli Watkins, maybe their defensive assets. But again, they're coming off the back of Europe as well. Anthony Gordon is probably the one of the single game weakers I like most this week. I'm reluctant to let him go, but I am going to do it. The chase the upside on the free hit. He's at home to Bournemouth. And then Thiago, who's going for the golden boot, is at home to Fulham. So There will be single game workers that do really well. There's a good chance that some of those players I just mentioned will be those guys. But again, I'm gonna have fun with this free hit. The other question from FPL Brooklyn, which is a question on a lot of people's lips, particularly freeheaders, but also those maybe looking to make a forward transfer. if they're selling the injured AKTK for example. is do we go Calvert Lewin? Or Danny Welbeck, and what are the reasons why? Uh Brooklyn also said, or is it neither? play four at the back or maybe even five. in midfield. I think five at the back is probably a play as well this week. There's a lot of good defenders out there. On Calvert Leon versus Wellbeck. I lean towards the lead striker. Prefer the Fextures. Leeds play Wolvesholm and Bournemouth away. Brighton play Tottenham away and Chelsea at home. So I do slightly favor the lead fixtures. Also leads have an extra day. So well back. who in more recent seasons has not played too many back to back games in quick succession. Right and play Saturday, Tuesday. whereas Calvert Loon plays Saturday, Wednesday. So I think that's a little bit safer. to go for Calvert Lewin, even though Wellbeck's been getting the goals recently. My preference is The lead striker. There's a very good chance I will have both. I might go Joe Pedro. Halbert Lewin Wellbeck front three. Three four three formation. There's loads of formations you can go with on Freehead, of course. Four four two I think will be popular. four three three even works. And some will be brave enough to go five at the back. It's it's dull, but it could be the most effective. But I think I'll just Cheers goals. Cavalloon and Wellback. Yes, there's a chance Wailbeck doesn't start both games, but if you can get Even half an hour off the bench plus eighty or ninety minutes in the first game against Tottenham, I'd be pretty content with that. I would say Both is most likely what I'm gonna end up on. Question from Matthias Who are the best differentials? Game Week thirty three free heads. And I've noted down here The best differentials are probably gonna be the single game workers because those who freehead will get rid of them all, or at least most of them. and then we'll get punished by one or two elsewhere. Players that have two fixtures that I like as differentials, Carrioglu at Brighton. think most will go for Van Hecker because he's a centre back and he's better for Defcon. Carioglu, I'm gonna back him for some attack and returns. Pascal Gross is another one who's an option. If you fancy something different, Enzo Fernandez, I think there's a question about him in a second, Cucarea. I mean I don't think any of us are rushing to triple up. on Chelsea. I'm gonna go Cole Palmer because I've had him for ages. I'm gonna get Joe Pedro in. probably swear the defenders as most people will. Even Nielsen and Crippy are forward differentials. Uh Bournemouth, Crippy's having a fantastic season. Is that ten leagu goals now? for the new recruits. Bogle Bogle at Leeds is a very attacking defender. Some very good numbers this season. He could be a differential. And Don Aruma. I don't think many will go Don Rimmer, 'cause they're gonna go O'Reilly, Haaland. Cherkey, Sam Manual. Maybe in the fullbacks. Like Nunez over Donarima. So if you're looking for a differential goalkeeper then Mind him. Couple of questions came in from dancing spock. First one. Which is the best Bournemouth midfielder for the double? Uh Danson Spock said Scott really caught the eye against Arsenal. Yeah, Alex Shot, really good player. He scored against Arsenal, of course. and he's been enjoying his best ever Premier League campaign, that's for sure, but I still think Taverneer is the best fantasy asset. from that midfield and he's the one I'm very likely to go for. Second question was how likely is it that Enzo Fernandez comes back into the Chelsea starting lineup following Plenary action. Looks like it's all sorted now, going by what I've read and what I've seen. He's made his apologies and spoke to leadership group, all that kind of stuff. So seems fine now. So we would expect I would expect Enzo to come back in and play these next couple of games. Probably water under the bridge there. So again, Enzo, possibly a decent differential for. Free headers this week. Question from Sebastian. What are my thoughts on double sety defense over double sety attack? Not too keen because City have so many good attackers. Haland who I won't have. Will be in every free head team and Those who are not on free hits, you know, bench boosters people not playing chaps are gonna have him as well. He's the best captain for the game week because he's got two games and he's earning Haland. and Man City are starting to cook at the right time in the campaign. Then you've got Semenu who's been fantastic this season at both clubs. You've got Cherkey who's starting to play really well. So I think you've gotta have double attack. Yeah, they do obviously have good defensive options too. O'Reilly's a lock I think in most teams. So I think O'Reilly Haaland if you're playing that way this season. and then take your pick of Smenu versus Cherokee. And I don't think that's straightforward. It's been some annual season so far. Cherokee could easily come out on top. across these two fixtures. I am probably gonna have Semenu and Cherokee. And O'Reilly. I think that's a triple up. I'll go for And I will be praying that Erling Halland continues Question from C Mac. CMAX on Freehead 33 and is pretty set in having three city players who are currently Haland, Summaniu, Cherkey. Do you like the triple attack approach? Or would you talk me into moving one of Sumeni or Cherokee to Gay? Again, this came in before the positive update on O'Reilly, so again, I just think you keep O'Reilly now. Or if you're If you don't already own him, I think you put him in on the free hits and you hope he starts both games. Gehe himself is a fine option. Traditionally, centre backs, double game weeks, John Stones comes to mind, Ruben Diaz comes to mind. I think there was a double game week where both of those players Yeah. So silly defenders have a bit of history. Uh Gay he's been good for attacking returns this year. He's Thereabouts in a lot of game weeks for DEF CON as well. So Gay is absolutely fine. Think if you're if you are going double City defense, you go O'Reilly and Gahey. Or O'Reilly and Donna Ruma. But I certainly think double attack. is best and I don't mind the triple attack idea either, just going after goals in those games. Quest from F PL Limits freehead or Triple Captain this week, Triple Captain will be Holland or Samenyo. Most teams this week Free head is probably better. and then you keep your triple captain chip for when City have a double later. It's most likely gonna be thirty six. I think there's a small chance it could be thirty seven. So we know another Manchester City double game week is coming. So I think attack this game week with a bench boost or a free head is best. And then you've got your trouble captain ship for a couple of weeks time. Question from Veal jar. Which popular single game week players are worth transferring out? double game wickers. Viljar mentions Gabriel Bruno Tiago are they worth keeping if you've got value tied up in them? Personally, Viljar says, wondering if Joe Pedro is worth transferring in for Jared Bowen or not. and will not be taking any hit. So yeah, it's really tricky. If you're just making regular transfers this week. Do you sell good season long holds for Hampton. double game week players, maybe for teams that are not as good or they're just not as good at you know, if they had a single game week you wouldn't even be looking at them. So it's tricky for you know, Gabriel for example, Man City away this week. feels fine to let him go for that. Then he comes back to Newcastle at home and fill him at home, so two home games for Arsenal. Pretty good. Spuno Fernandez, Chelsea away this week. Again, it feels okay to swear of 'em. Then he comes back to Brentford at home. arguably the best captain that week. He'll be my captain that week. I mean he's got lever pill at home after that, which is pretty good at the moment as well. And Thiago's fixtures or fill 'em home this week. That seems good. Manchester United away, that's fine. And then it's West Ham at home. So Tiago's probably one you want to try and hold on to. But it's hard. hard decisions to make if you're just making regular transfers this week. I would be inclined to keep Bruno. Gabrielle, you could talk me into losing him. Thiago Calvert Lewin. There is Joe Pedro, of course, as well. I probably would lose Thiago for a double game week forward, 'cause you could always get him back in possibly for the West Ham fixture in a couple of game weeks' time. But yeah, Bruno's the one I I think I'd be most reluctant. To lose. That's it for questions. Thank you for sending them in, folks. Captain C for the Double Game Week. captain has to be a double game we player. If you've got Erling Haland, I would not overthink it. I would give them the armband at home to Arsenal and away to Burnley. If you don't have Haaland or you want to do something different, you've got Semenayu and Cherkey, you've got Nicole Reilly. Elsewhere, Cole Palmer at Chelsea is probably gonna be my captain. I like a penalty taker in a double game week. Chelsea are home to Manchester United and away to Brighton. Think them fixes are okay. Chelsea have not been great. By any means. They are creating plenty of chances and I fancy them to get goals in those games and hopefully Cold Palmer's involved. Joe Pedro of course is a catch option. And then you've got the strikers, you've got two games, Danny Welbeck, Calvert Lewin, sh I should probably mention the Bournemouth guys here as well. Halan Captain, if you have him. And I think I'm gonna end up on Cole Palmer. My latest free head draft with just over twenty four hours to go until the deadline. So I'll tinker some more tonight, Friday night, and then lock things in tomorrow morning. But I'm not gonna go You know. I think the midfield in particular, if I go for a three four three, it's gonna be Semenu Cherky. Cole Palmer and Taverneer. Don't really see any of those four dropping out. Up front again if it's a front three, it's pretty straightforward. It's Joe Pedro, it's Wailbeck and it's Calvert Lewin. don't wanna you know, I feel like I don't need to go chasing differentials, even just being on a free hit. differential in itself in any game week. Back three, Nico O'Reilly. Sinessi, although I'm torn on Senesse versus Hell because Hell's been so good to me. do think Sanesse's the better. FPL pack. in any given game week. And I'm gonna go carry all glue as my little deferential play. And I've currently got Verbruggen. along with caddial glue. I'm I'm starting to feel like I need more leads players in this team. So I might end up looking at Darlo, for example. Bogle Beijle. There's a lot of good defensive options at Leeds because their fixtures are pretty good in this double. And they're probably better than Brighton. So I'm that's that's what I'm struggling with we but it's probably the defense and the goalkeeper. I'm not against Donorima, but know that O'Reilly is okay. I think it's gotta be O'Reilly Simon Cherki for me. So And then the question is, do I trust Wailbeck to start both games? Or do I get An extra midfielder instead, or do I go four at the back? So yeah, it's not set yet, but what I would say is definitely in Pedro, Calvert Lewin. Sammanuel Cherkey Cole Palmer Taverner. O'Reilly. Probably Cinece. So it's the two defensive spots. It's the Verbruggen Caddiogly spot. And it's the well back spot that could change before deadline. Happy tinkering folks, if you're on a free hits. Happy building if you're on your bench boost and you're trying to piece it together if you've got And if you're just making regular transfers, I hope they go well for you this week as well. Thanks for listening, folks. Always fun to have a big double game week. Hopefully we had the heights of What is it, seven, eight, nine years ago when we had people scoring over two hundred points?
