And since Republicans are busy negotiating with Iran and Democrats are busy flirting with socialism, you may be asking yourself What are all the intelligent people doing really I have no idea. Mamdani has become increasingly popular with New Yorkers through his strategy of talking about socialism while actually promoting a jihadism that seeks to slaughter half of America and enslave the rest. As one New Yorker put it, quote, I love Mom Donny because he wants to kill me, my family, and everything I value. Chapter one the mask of socialism. So last week I said something that I want to modify. It wasn' It wasn't that it was wrong, but it didn't take in the whole situation. I said that Trump's big mouth was his best and worst trait, that I loved his big mouth because it had shattered the stranglehold of cancel culture and this left you know things you were not allowed to say. It strangled that censorship culture and destroyed it. And that was worth to me the most important thing that Trump has done, Barn non. But I said it also That was a problem because he would say things and make promises that he couldn't keep and he'd use hyperbole and overplay things. He'll say, we'll get unconditional surrender from Iran and regime change, and so on. and that gave the press the capability of attacking him when these things didn't happen. But that's actually not a full picture of the problem The problem is that Trump is always speaking into his negotiation, which is the right thing to do. When he says, I don't care about the midterms, I'm just going to finish this war, or I don't care about the American economy. I'm just going to finish this war. He's telling Iran, you, don't wait for me to stand down because I'm not going to do it. It's part of a negotiation with them. How would it be if he said, know, we're going to bomb Iran for a couple of months, then the midterms will come will stop, but that was the truth. And because Democrats in the legacy media are one voice. They just absolutely speak in harmony. They capture those moments that he means to be part of a negotiation. and they put them out as absolute statements of fact and then that can hurt Trump politically. So that is a problem. And that's what's really happening You know and I opened the show making jokes about the negotiations in Iran, but as I said before, I said last week and I stand by this, we're not in a negotiation with Iran. We're in a ceasefire that is there because Trump had to deal with the the midterms. He had to deal with the midterms. And the reason he had to deal with the midterms is that The you know, the interests of our great ally Israel and our fellow free country in the world, one of the rare free countries in the world our interests are very carefully al closely aligned, but they're not perfectly aligned because we're two separate countries. and the The imminent threat to Israel is Iran. so they want us to keep fighting. The imminent threat to America is the deemocrat socialists of America. It is the rise of socialism in America. And what I'm going to talk about in this opening chapter is how those things are one thing Iran and the Democrat socialists are actually the same thing. And that's why I feel that some of the comment some of the commentariot like Mark Levin and John P Haris, who get absolutely outraged every time a new leak comes out of the negotiations that we're giving something to Iran, might want to hold back just a little bit and see, I don't think that Trump is going to sell Israel down the river. I don't think that that's what's happening. I think he's taking the battle to the home front And I think, you know, it's an important thing. when you listen What we're watching is a slow the beginning of an attempt by the Socialists to take over the Democrat Party. And the Democrat Party is very weak. I mean, people are they're bleeding, know all across the West, the left is bleeding people. They're not gaining people, they're bleeding people. So there' obviously more radical ideas are going to take hold, especially among young people who don't know any better. So the socialists had a Banner Kight in New York. And I just want to point out how aligned they are She hotism how aligned socialism is with You know, they're supposed to be leftist, they're suppos to be for women. they're supposed to be for the ordinary guy.'re supposed to be for freedom. Jihadism is against all us, especially against women, also against religious freedom, know, also religious. So which is also socialism is a materialist thought. So this combination is a very, very strange thing, but it's really important for us to look at it. Three leftist congressional candidates endorsed by Mamdani, won primaries over candidates backed by the mainstream Democrat Party, Union leaders and Jim Jeffries, Letishia James is all wound up about this. And this just that was not just those were the headlines The DSA is also going to pick up six seats in the state legislature in Albany as well a lot of socialists going to be coming down on New York The easiest place to elect socialists is in cities. Obviously, they're very blue. Seattle has a socialist mayor in New York. DC will have one soon and probably LA Uh, and The thing is as socialism And that's going to be very interesting because as socialism spreads in these cities, it's very easy for the rich people if they get taxed too much to leave town So the strategy that you're going to see from socialists is they're not going to do too much. Zor Namani has done nothing. He has done nothing. None of his promises are coming true. The only thing he's done is begged enough money from the state to balance the budget. That's basically the only thing he's done. But people love him. He's got the smile, he puts out the videos, he's got the rhetoric and all that stuff. But as long as he does nothing They're not going to get the results of socialism, which are disaster And so he has the power to pick these candidates and flood the zone, the Democrat partarty, with these socialists. He's actually doing what socialists do best, which is not doing anything, hiding what they believe, keeping their mouths shut, and then you know bringing the hammer once they've got the power. Socialists are really good at politics, but they're not really good at policy because every socialist policy fails. If you think about it everyvery single thing is troubling Americans. inflation. That's because of socialist overspending, right? Inflation is caused by government printing money. That is why there is inflation. There's no other reason. Government prints money. The prices go up because money becomes worth less the more there is, just like something gets diluted. It's just like diluting something. Think about high crime. That's because of sympathizing with people according to the col of their skin or their perceived lack of power instead of whether they're good people or bad people instead of following morality. And of course, economies are bogging down in Europe because of environmentalism and the Green New Deal and all that stuff. Almost every problem we're facing is a problem of leftism, not of conservatism. and yet it doesn't matter because that leftist rhetoric carries the day so often that socialism doesn't work is why progressivism is progressive, right? It's likephy progressive like emphysem and cancer. becausecause it doesn't work, it constantly has to grow and move and find new atrocities that justify its existence and make people forget that it doesn't work. So you know the climate is an emergency. A lot of conservatives were laughing this week when Chicago mayor Brandon Johnson declared trans transfemicide state of emergency. This was because so many trans people were being killed. In fact, one trans person was murdered in Chicago in a domestic dispute over the last year, whereas thirty to forty people are shot in Chicago every single weekend, most of them black. rhetoric is just to keep that emergency going. There's always so much injustice. There's always a crisis coming because otherwise you see what's going on. I mean greatest example of this is the Southern Poverty Law Center, which made its name naming hate groups, like the Daily War, you' a hate group. Anybody they disagreed with was a hate group. It was amazing amazing stuff and then it turns out they were funding the people who ran really real hate groups in order to get them to promote, you know events that would make people panic and give more money to the Southern pooverty Law Center White supremacy is not a problem in America. Whenever they have a nationwide gathering of white supremacists like six guys show up and most of them are FBI agents. So now we're looking at these people, these socialists who come in, and what do they have in common? And it's a wonderful thing about being at the Daily Wire, the people who hate the Daily Wire are always attacking us for Be being Israel first, as they put it, they call it the Israeli wire. They say, oh, you know you're taking Ben Shapiro's shecks. And you know, Ben does pay in sheckkels, which is kind of annoying ever since you know Jesus threw over the tables of the money changers. It's hard to get the dollars for them. But still, you know, I mean, nobody here gets told what to say and if you pay attention Some of our major Podcastters are not saying anything about this stuff at all. I am pro Israel They're a great ally, and as I say, they arere a free countries surrounded by free, unfree, anti Christian, anti American countries that want to destroy, both them and us and So they try to shut us down. They try to silence us by saying Ben only cares about Israel or every time I open my mouth, it's like you're not really a Christian, you're a Jew, you know, that kind of thing. So you're supposed to think, Oh, I don't want to say anything. And I cannot I cannot begin to tell you how little I care about the opinions of these people, but I'm just saying that these are the things they're using. It's all about silencing this outlet on Israel. So it makes you ask, where's the money coming from?y whyy are they doing this? so many of them are bots. But look at these candidates who won in the New York Congressional primaries, right? Which in New York means it' probably going to win the election There is that one lady Chevalier, Avilia Chevalier, she pronounces the R in her name, Chevalier She attended a pro Palest stine riot demonstration The day after the october seventh massacre of twelve hundred Israelis. Remember this is the slaughter of children. This is the slaughter of women who were raped to death. Guys were taking pictures of raping them to death and sending them home to mom. in Gaza L, oh, look, mom. No, this is great. We rappe these people to death. The taking of hostages, including American hostages And she was out there, Avelia Cheavaler was out there supporting Hamas. Who is Hamas? Hamas is Iran Iran pays for Hamas, Hamas does the work of Iran. sameame with Hezbollah in Lebanon. What is Iran doing Iran is murdering It has murdered thirty to forty thousand of its own people for protesting the regime That's an amazing I mean, consider the fact that one guy got shot in Minnesota for throwing things, actually physically attacking federal agents enforcing federal law These are people demonstrating against a regime that can't feed them. that's just falling apart economically. thirty to forty thousand of them were killed. They are reportedly planning to flog a female Iranian singer. She sang on YouTube without a hijab Parisew a Mi and they're going to flog her like seventy lashes And this is who this woman Sivaler was supporting, basically the punishment of women like that, the murder of people like that. That is what she's supporting under the guise of attacking Israel who I don't remember ever doing anything even close to those things. But she means this and she means port Islam and the Islam she's supporting is not, o, I pray on a mat and I call God Allah. That's not the, you know, as I said, you know, if you're a patriotic American and that's the way you pray and you're not for Sharia Lw, which is that's really the dividing line I got no problem with that. There have been people of all kinds of religions here. There's a huge slice of Islam that actually wants this country dead. and she's part of it. And here she is making a speech telling her fellow Muslims because she is reverted, as she put it to Muslims. She is now a Muslim herself, and she iss going to bring these values these Hamas Iranian values to our Congress is cut for. I know that we all deserve a representative who isn't bought by APAC I'm also the only Muslim in my family. I reverted three years ago, actually met the friend who pushed me to do it, asked me, why have you fasted for four years and yet you haven't takeak your Sahala? She's here today. and when she asked me that I thought, that is a great question. And I thought for myself, like why I hadn't taken the step yet but It was seeing how all of my friends who were showing up to organizing who Muslim were showing up in the space the grace and love and passion that they had in these spaces of social justice that really pushed me Join thea and wanting to make sure that we are reflecting that in that I'm reflecting that in every space that I'm in and that, you know, in Sall love, we make it to Congress, that we're reflecting that in the halls of power as well. And when she won her primary, this was the scene They victory species, cut three Bally Palestine, they're chanting. Now why is an American a woman running to be an American Congress? Why is that her major issue? Why is that the thing they're chanting? You know, this is a woman who had all these tweets them down. The United States is an effing disgrace. she said. Oh, I forgot to get napkins, so I just wiped my hand on the American flag behind me. She accused Joe Biden and Barack Obama of war crimes, presumably because of their veryery pale we support of Israel In the end, the enemy for these people is The Jews first, remember, the Jews, it's always the Jews first, right? The Jews first and then America. Here is Claire Valdz, who won a Conggressional primary. Here's what she says about America. Cut one. We hear all these, you know White conservative men talk about who does and does not belong here. and this nation was founded on genocide and the mass displacement of people. This is it's just the history. And to say that some people cannot belong here, it's like Come on. So so this is the thing. They're not they're not in favor of immmigration, and illegal immigration and protecting illegal immigrants, the Valdez is against any kind of deportation They're not for that out of compassion, out of, oh, this poor fellow, he needs a place to live, because that would be admitting that they come here because they get a better way of life. They're for it because this country is illegitimate and should be destroyed. They're basically Democrats, the people who are running as Democrats, the socialists, are running on the platform. We want to destroy America, so elect us to lead America. What's his name? Brad Lander you know He I got to say he has said he wants well, let's play it.' cut five. Christians great, which is just like everything on Tucker show, It's a historical monsters. and people keep this is the other thing. people keep saying, why are you so obsessed with Tucker I'm not the one who mentions how horrible Jews are in every single show, right? This is Tucker who's obsessed. And now he says this, cut seven. I would not support the Republican Party. There's no chance I would support the Republican Party. Not going to support the Democratic Party. I don't know what I'm going to do point You know, how could you support how could I or any American voter support a political party that's not loyal to the United States puts the interest of a foreign country above those of its own citizens. likeike that's that's, you know, it's not possible to vote for people like them. So no, I'm out. And if I'm out that I think a lot of other people are out. Hes tal he's talking obviously about Israel. He thinks, you know, we're run by Israel. The Republican Party is run by Israel because they support Israel, our ally and a free country. And that's why Tucker is out. It's not because people like conspiracy theories and Jews fit in with conspiracy theories because God they hate God, they hate His lordship, they hate His doctrine of love for the poor. they hate His honor for femininity and motherhood they hate his love for humanity because They hate what humanity is. They hate who we are, what humanity is. And it's the spiritual interest that they hate. you know, it's the spiritual interest that makes me not care about how rich Elon Musk is because my life is about me. or you know it's about a mom not caring about not having a big job and caring about her family because that takes power away from the state. It's about the fact that a man can look at someone more successful than he is like Elon Musk can be encouraged And inspired, instead of envious, all that stuff takes power away from the state, which only has one thing to offer you someone else's money. When they tell you, you know, we're taking power back for the people, the state is never the people. The state is always a power center and it will pay you off so they can enslave you. They hate God, they hate mankind, and they hate freedom because that serves both of those. and they hate America most of all. And is this is who's coming. And it's real. You know, I'm not saying they're going to win. I'm not going to say they take, you know these things rise up in America, they get shot down, but I'm just saying you got to wake up and make sure you show up for the elections. There are no eas Chapter two, unifing the field I had a conversation with the lovable unfortunately lovable Michael Knowles And I was on his show to celebrate his two thousand show. congratulations again for his two thousand show. And I kind of blew the interview I felt afterwards because I came on very relaxed, ready to joke around and reminisce about you know how he Nool started out as doing my Twitter feed. That was his job. I hired him to do my Twitter feed. and his imitation of me on Twitter was so good that I used to look at it to make sure I knew how I sounded when I was tweeting. It really was good. And then I would have him on my show to do culture thing. and then he got a show and I would come on his show as end millennial. I thought we' were going to talk about that. But ask me a serious question and He said, you know, when we started out, The Daily Wire, we're fighting against you know, we're fighting for free speech, we're fighting for against cancel culture and for, you know racial reality and sexual reality and all this stuff. What are we fighting for now And I started riffing on what was going on on the left, but that didn't really give a good answer to the question because I think it's important that these guys these These America hating, Jew hating, God hating socialists And I don't think that's too strong. know I hate hyperbole in American discourse, but I think that's just an accurate description These guys have an agenda. they have something they can offer you. They can offer you other people's money. Tax the rich. I mean, that sounds great, except, you know you have to ask yourself, why does somebody getting rich mean their money belongs to you? How How does that make any sense? It doesn't make any sense at all What we are selling is something else and it's harder to sell. It's much harder to sell. It's freedom and Freedom is a fascinating thing. You know I used to when my son Spencer Clave, no relation was a little boy, the little boys would get together and they used to have this giggly joke. they would have fortune cookies. And when they'd read the fortune cookie, they would add the words in bed. So they'd say you're going to be very lucky. and they would say in bed, and then everybody would giggle And you know, they were like seven, I don't know, but they were really old. And I always think When we talk about problems in America peopleeople offer a solution. The solution should add instead of in bed, we should always add and maintain freedom and keep freedom. because You can pretend to solve problems by throwing government money out of them, But every time you take money away from people, you're taking away their time. You're taking away their life. making the claim that the government has a claim to their life. And that's not true. The government should have no claim to your life except for basic common goods, you know, building roads and keeping them military and all that stuff. And that's the way the country was supposed to be. So we are selling reedom, your freedom to make the country great yourself. That's what makes the country great. Donald Trump isn going to make the country great unless he frees you up to do it and then you can do it and that's kind of what he's trying to do Lord Acton the famous historian of Freedom wrote this, att all times At all times, sincere friends of freedom have been rare And its triumphs have been due to minorities that have prevailed by associating themselves with auxiliaries whose objects often differed from their own. And this association, which is always dangerous, has been sometimes disastrous by giving to opponents just ground of opposition and by kindling dispute over the spoils in the hour of success That is exactly what has happened now. And let me translate that from English into American. Let's say we on the right. problems with civil rights law because civil rights law can curtail freedom, even though it its intentions are good And Trump, for instance, has been fighting against disparate impact, which is the idea that if I have a company and you come over to my company and too many of the people are white I can say I can call you a bigot and sue you for being a bigot, even though you may have just hired the best people in the world. So civil rights law has encroached upon our freedom. And according to Christopher Caldwell in his book, The Age of Entitlement, he says it has become a parallel constitution that is against the Constitution. All right, I agree with that. I don't think I think you should be able to hire the best people no matter what their color is you know and that's all because you own the company. But that puts me on the movie line with actual racist. and I despise racism. But you make an allegiance with somebody to win the vote. This is what Lord Acton is saying because freedom doesn't sell. People don't want freedom. They want to be safe. Read the Bible. know. Moses does you know a dozen miracles, gets the Hebrews out of slavery in Egypt and the minute they get hungry, they say, Ohh, we wish we were back in Egypt, att least we's food, right? Because people want food, they want safety, they want to be taken care of. They don't want to be free. It's only when they are free that they become better than they think they can be and they build brilliant countries Rome Greease Britain free countries are the countries that become more powerful than any other That's a problem, right? That's a problem. And so how do we describe to people what it is we're doing that is different than the bad people we have to associate with in order to get the votes In astrophysics There's an idea called the unified field theory. Albert Einstein spent to no avail, he spent a lot of his life looking for a unified field theory which would combine explain both why small things like quQanta, you know, little things you can't see behave in one way and big things like galaxies behave in a totally different way. How is that possible? There must be one rule that covers them all. He never found it. And in fact, this dichotomy, the dichotomy of scale, An individuality goes all through human life, right? It might suit you. It might make you give you your happiest life to walk down the street naked, but a lot of people might be offended by that. Where does your freedom end? Where does the right good of society begin? And the thing is, it's always a tension. If anybody says he has the answer, there is no unified field theory just understand that things are going to be different on the big scale than they are on the small. So you know, I've heard, I think it's Dennis Prager who says on the small scale compassion, on the big scale principles. You know, I believe in what the left calls heteronormativity. I believe in the centrality of the mom dad family. You know I think that this is the key to freedom is the mom dad family. I think the more mom takes care of the home and the more she takes care of the little people when they're very small, the more freedom will be sustained because that little society will make its rules and will learn about authority, where authority is good, where authority is bad, and all of those things However, I believe on the individual level You should treat all people with love and respect. I would never tell somebody who had a diverse sex life, you know, I care about your sex life. It's just none of my It truly is none of my business. It's truly none of my business. I will fight the gay agenda, the LGBTQ agenda because I think it's wrong on principle, but I'm not going to go around hating on gay people. It's the same thing, you know, with tightly controlled borders. I think you have to keep the borders shut , you have to be able to control who comes in, who comes out But on the individual level I'm not necessarily going to be the guy who calls IC and tells them there's an illegal living next door. if that illegal isn otherwise a law abiding citizen. On the individual level, I'm going to show some compassion. lookook the other way a little bit. You can call that hypocrisy, but it's really not. It's the difference between the way things work on the big scale and the way they work on the small scale This is why when you try to cut government programs, right that encourage dependency and make people feel entitled like know, oh, where you know they call it even the people who work in the welfare business call it welfare psychosis When you try to cut those programs, the left immediately shows up with a picture of you pushing an old lady off a cliff, right? Because people will react to that individual with compassion and they'll forget about the principles. and that's why it's so hard. So we have to stand for You know, the only thing that brings that is a unified field theory is Christian love Christ dines with sinners But he says, render unto Caesar. What is Caesar's? the let the government do what it has to do, but I'm going to sit down and dine with the sinners. You know, obbviously he doesn't believe in sin. Jesus doesn't believe in sin, but he's always compassionate and loving toward the sinners. so loving in fact that he gives his life for them. We have to be that kind of movement. and it's got to get started because the anger with which right wingers speak, especially after they've been silenced long enough and it gets tamped down is one of the things that alienates people from our movement and makes it easy for young people who tend to be idealistic and compassionate, makes it easy for them to ignore what they're saying and believe that we are hateful One of my role models in this is Lila Rose. I love Lila Rose at live action, lovely person, just a charming person. but also she opposes abortion with every fiber of her being, but she shows compassion and love for pregnant women in trouble. And that was not the way the abortion The anti abortion movement started out. when Rovey Wade passed, people were so shocked, so silenced, so censored by a Supreme Court that went out of control that they immediately acted with anger, with Bible thumping, with saying, you know, this is a sinful thing that you've gotten pregnant out of wedlock and all this But the love that Lila Rose shows made that movement so powerful and was really important in overturning Roe V. Wade. Ron DeSantis in Florida, quuiet guy doesn't seem to have so far, doesn't seem to have what it takes to win a national election. But in Florida, the guy has been spectacular. Great education record, great road and highway improvement, environmental, clean water spending, and all that, but a booming economy that privileges, free trade and entrepreneurship. You know, I once asked the governor, I said, how do you overcome? how do you sell these projects mininorities who have been so told that they have to be taken care of, and he said, I go into their neighborhoods and ask them what the problem is and then come up with solutions that don't destroy the state. And I thought, Well, that's a new idea for a Republican. I never heard anybody say that. It is not enough for us to be right. likeike Paul Simon said, you need some tenderness with your honesty Love is the unified field theory, but it's not popular and you have to educate people right on left and how that works. And we better be thinking about this because I know I'm always talking about the culture, but the culture is not just the movies, it's not just the arts. It is the way we behave and the way our politicians behave been a gosend to this country, but as I always say, go send some very peculiar people. and I don't think a series of loudmouths screaming at people now that the monopoly that they had on communication has been broken by people like the Daily Wire and Joe Rogan and all the podcasters and all the rebel media now that has broken with Trump's leadership. monopoly that we have, we are going to need to educate people on what freedom is, how it works, and why it's great. I've told talked about the story before, but I think it's really important to stay up to date on this because it's with july fourth coming up especially. That's really important. This has gotten no attention. It's got attention from the administration. But part of that is because of my friend Jeff Anderson at the American Main Street Initiative, who's been working in tandem with John Fontte of Hudson Institute to cover stories like this one. This is a story about a place in Um in Philadelphia Independence National Historical Park, which is run by the National Park Service, a federal agency, right? And this is where' in this park is a place called President's House, or the ruins, I think of a place called President's House. And when Jeff went there and looked at it, he found that Washington had lived there in Adams. This is before the White House was there. Washington had worked there, and I think John Adams had worked there, and that's why it's called President's House. when Jeff Anderson went there and looked at it. He found that a huge number. I think it was like twenty five of the thirty signs that were put up by the National Park Service were about slavery. and It's he said that Washington was more heavily criticized than King George III. He was called an irredeemable slaveholder, a hypocrite. His actions were characterized as deplorable. This is George Washington, right? One of the greatest men in all of history. His actions were called profoundly disturbing, and he was said to have mocked the nation's pretense to be a beacon of liberty a national you know, monument basically where Washington lived. He was accused with other founders of injustice and immorality So The Trump administration went in and wanted to change the signage to make it balanced, to you know, to show, you know, there's nothing wrong with talking about slavery, but George Washington was a great man and the founding was a great thing. And so they were sued, they won the suit because They, you know, the the court said The court said you This is run by the federal government. so the federal government has the right to control it. then amazingly, just absolutely amazingly a court in Boston just decided out of nowhere. All no signs can be changed because it's so important. let me just see if I can find line the opinion of this judge, Angel Kelly pointed by Biden, I believe, the opinion used the word diverse, equity and inclusive twenty three times and effectively ignores the law, applying it only in its broadest strokes and said basically that the NGOs who brought the suit are harmed because the shift in priorities jeopardize their ability to participate in panels on topics including M too and Black liivves matter. Now this is going to be overturned because it's against the Supreme Court ruling that you can't just go around throwing these throwing these national injunctions around if you're a court. And so it'll be overturned, but will it be overturned in time for the july fourth celebration of America two fifty? And that is the question. That's what is they're trying to do This is happening all over. If you visit Jefferson's home in Monticello, you will find you walk into the bookstore, all the books are about slavery. A lot of the signage is about slavery. Go to Mount Vernon. It's a little better there. It's a little better in Mount Vernon, but still very heavy on slavery. I went to a place in Charlotte, North Carolina a plantation. and all they did was talk about slavery. And I finally said, you know I'm not here because of the kitchen staff. You know I'm interested in the lives of slaves. I actually think that's part of our history. But I said, what were the people who built this place, this big house doing? And the woman said to me, love a lovely young woman said to me, they were mostly holding dinners with the other enslaving families All of this third worldism, this CA Cuba, the Ca Venezuela, Y Gaza You know, What I want to say to them The question is not, they call this whitewhing, the leftft calls this whitewashing American history But really that's not true. They're blackwashing American history. They are the ones who are blackwashing American history. and I do not mean that is a racial comment. I mean that they are throwing mud at American history. The question before us as we reach our two hundred fiftieth anniversary is really simple Was the founding of this country a good thing or a bad thing? Is it true like the socialists say that it was built on genocide and displacing people? orr was it one of the incredible god sent moments when people became more free than they had ever been before and came up with a new, a fresh political idea, the only fresh political idea that's been had since Magna Carta set people on a new road of dignity and godly living. That is what I think it was. I think it was great one of the greatest moments in human history, a moment when only only by the grace of God could that kind of incredible brilliance that you know Washington and Jefferson and Adams and all of these people brought together into that moment in the same place to forge this country. When I say to these people in their third world isism, their love of Cuba, their love of Venezuela, their love of Africa. What I want to say is what have those cultures done What have those cultures done America did. I don't know why it happened in America. I don't think it was because of the color of people's skins. I think it was just a trail of ideas that led to this brilliant moment. And as I say, I think God had his finger on it. You can't be a socialist and pro the founding. Socialism is inherently totalitarian. It's against individual freedom and it is against given rights because it's a materialist philosophy without a God. So when you see here socialists say power to the people. they mean power to the government. Government is not the people. Power centers are the enemy of human freedom. They're the enemies of individual freedom. And that is why the celebration of America two hundred fifty, which the press is doing everything to suppress which the New York Times is saying we we should just actually, you know, they're just linking it to Donald Trump and saying we should all boycott his celebrations and all this stuff This is why it's so important. This is the culture. this is the part of the culture that we've lost completely. This is where the education starts at Mount Vernon, at Monticello in historical sites, where the little plaques are. This is know in the museum in the cellar of the Jefferson Memorial and the Lincoln Memorial. this is where the education of America starts. If they're not going to do it in the schools, we have to do it on podcasts. if they're not going to do it in colleges if they're going to teach them to hate this country, we've gott to teach them to love it. If they don't love it, if they don't understand why it's here, you cannot sell them freedom because freedom is never the most popular idea. Good lives are rarely built on shortcuts. They are built on good habits. Now, most of us know what good habits look like. We know we should eat more fruits and vegetables. We know we should take care of ourselves. The challenge is in getting information is finding simple, sustainable ways to make those choices part of your everyday routine. This is going to be a little bit of an offbeie segment, but I just want to pointed out because of his historical interest. I believe that history repeats itself. I believe that history repeats itself in the big way and also in individual lives. for a very simple reasason. It's not magic. It's simply that human nature is constrained. It's not infinite. Human nature is not infinite. Time is infinite. T just goes on and on. so the same traits in human beings are going to come around again and again and you will find in your life that you go through cycles where you're doing something kind of reminds you of something you've done before. Hopefully, if you're a healthy person, you do it better each time, more purely each time, more beautifully each time. But know and if you're a neurotic person, you just keep doing the same thing over and over again. I'm sure you know people who do that all the time. They're always having revelations, but they always go back to doing the same thing. Since I was a kid, I have felt that America was in the same position as Rome. And when you compare eras, it's always a generalization. I'm not looking close up. I'm looking from a distance from outer space, I'm looking at history for a minute. And America plays a role very similar to the Roman Republic at this point. You know, the Athens came first with all its ideas, all its theories, all its beauty. that became a seaborn empire. and then Rome came and took them over, but those ideas infused Rome ide And that's why as it spread across the world, it was called Hellenism, which meant it was coming from Greece. And I feel the same thing happened with England. England was a seaborn empire, Brilliant thinkers, brilliant political thinkers, brilliant novelists, brilliant arts and science and all that stuff. and we essentially have replaced them, but their ideas infuse our ideas. So England as Greece, America's Rome. I'm not the first, I think Edgar Allen Po wrote a poem about that. I'm not the first person to say it, but it's always seemed true to me Back in the second century before Christ And something happened in what is now Israel is very reminiscent of what happened when the newew Israel was formed, which is that the Mcabees overthrew the Hellenist empires that had been dominating that area and established essentially a Jewish state. very similar to now, it's constantly under attack, but for a couple of maybe one hundred and fifty years, the MacAabees established a Jewish state and kept it You know Jewish, basically. You might not have liked it. You might have thought, Gee, who wants to live under that you know, kind of orrthodox religion? But still, this is what Hanukah celebrates. The MacAabees did establish that. B the time by the end of that period, Rome started The Roman Republic started to come apart. and it came apart for reasons you'll recognize, which is that the people started to feel that they were being dominated by the elites and the elites were completely deaf to their cries and didn't really do anything to help them. And ultimately it became violent and led to civil wars And those civil wars ended the Republic and ended with the Roman Empire with Augustus And by that time the Jews had lost their freedom and become ruled by Rome sometimes through proxies like Herod the Great and sometimes through guysu like Pontchus Pilot, right and At the same time U, Not many people know this, but at the same time throughout Rome, Judaism was really growing. It really appealed to a lot of people. If you read the book of Acts or the letters, the epistles, you'll hear Paul talk about Jews and those who fear the Lord. And those were people who signed on to Judaism without becoming Jews. They probably didn't want to be circumcised, but they believed in the Jewish Godd as paganism started to pale and started to not look as great maybe because of all the civil wars and all this stuff. And this caused a lot of hostility toward the Jews among the Romans, the philosopher Seneca. said the conquered Meaning the Jews have given their laws to the conquerors, right? And that was something that we kind of hear today when you talk about why are the Jews running America? It's because Christianity was that kind of our Jewish ideas Jesus was born into a time that was perfectly set up for the spread of the gospels because the world was connected by Roman domination and the population was hungry for the sppirit, which a lot of them were getting through Jewish ideas. But after se seventy AD, when the Romans destroyed, the Jews thought, well, the Maccabees overthrew the Sleucids The Seleucid Epire, that we ought to be able to overthrow a Roman Empire, bad move because the Romans were far, far, far more powerful than any empire had ever ever been before. And the Romans just wiped them out. That was you know just the end of Israel. That's why they called it Palestine, which was meant Philistine to mock the Jews, right? And they threw the Jews out. the Jews became hated , you know, kind of pariah wandering the earth So Authorities who had condemned Jesus You know, We're Jewish But the Jewish Messiah and his Jewish Apostles now started to away from the Jews because they were spreading the gospel through Rome. And the Jews became sort of the evil people. Even as the West was accepting the ideas of Judaism throughrough Jesus Christ because Jesus Christ was a Jew til the day he died and all of his ideas came from the Old Testament. That's where hisis ideas came in. That's what he was preaching. He was quoting the psalms all the time, constantly. He was constantly referring back to King David, to all of the stories in the Old Testament. You cannot understand Christianity if you don't understand the Old Testament. You do not understand it if you don't point this rift began to become seriously toxic. and the rift between Christians and Jews. And this idea that the Jews killed Christ, I always tell people, you know stop using that phraseology. It's A, it's not English. It's not an English sentence. But B, it just means that you're saying that the Jewish authorities, which is what like say Staint John means when he says the Jews, he meant the Jewish religious authorities When you say that they're the Jews, but the Jewish apostles somehow are not the Jews. Jesus is not the Jews. The Jews who were supportive of the newew Christian movement, somehow they're not the Jews, which is ridiculous. They were all Jews. And the othering of the Jews, that the hatred of the Jews became so ingrained in European Christian ristendom When it came time for Europe to die as it died during the World Wars, it was almost fated that it would die in a Holocaust of the Jews. And Americans have always been different than that. Americans did not take that idea into themselves quite as completely. and they don't really understand how bad it was in Europe for the Jews and how continual and off hand the hatred of Jews was in Christendom Jew The people who came to America founded America. there were a lot of influences, but one of them was the Old Testament. Samuel Langdon, who was one of the New Hampshire Constitution delegate, he said the Jewish government, according to the original Constitution, which was divinely established, was a perfect republic. The civil polity of Israel is doubtless an excellent general model And a lot of the founders looked at the Old Testament covenantal idea, the rule of law and deeuteronomy, the due process principles that are in exxodus, and the warnings against kings was one of the most important passages in the Old Testament in one Samuel. Those things, they looked at them as precedents Now, whenever I talk about this, I'm mobed by anti Semitic bots, but like I said, I cannot tell you how few dam I give zero damns for what they say. But I'm not America first. I'm America only. It's my only country. I lived here. I was born here, I'm going to die here. If this country goes down the drain, the last thing you are going to see is my fist because I'm not leaving. I do not believe in any other country, but this one, this is it I can't help feeling We're moving back into that moment If the Republic should fall, I'll be long gone, but if the Republic should fall and Israel becomes a ward of this country, I feel we're moving into a place that is uncanny like the time of the Nativity. And I'm not saying it's really the second coming. I'm just saying history goes in cycles, and we're coming into a cycle that iss very much like the cycle of when Jesus was born. I guess what I want to say about this is When you hear all this crap from Zor Mam Dani and the Socialist and from Tucker Carlson. Remember that their philosophy, whatever their philosophy is, I don't care whether they call themselves right or left. It's a mask for that hatred. It's a mask for that hatred that became in buuilt. It became built in. to European Christianity But remember, Christianity is a universal. It is a universal thought, and we do not have to imitate that European idea, which ultimately destroyed Europe, right Hatred is the point of these movements. and that hatred, as I say, is a hatred of God because Jews Jesus was not a victim of the Jews. Jesus is a gift from the Jews. He is the gift of universal salvation from the Jews. That is why Saint John Paul II called the Jews our beloved brothers. because Everything that the Christians have comes from the Jews, including Mr. Jesus himself. So I just want to leave you as you listen to the hate pouring out of the socialists, pouring out of Zorom Mandani, pouring out of Chevelier, pouring out of Tucker Carlson, all of them. I just want to leave you with the words of George Washington the great one of truly one of the greatest men who ever lived on the planet He wrote a famous letter to one of the earliest American synagogues and he said this to them. May the children of the stock of Abraham who dwell in this land continue to merit and enjoy the goodwill of the other inhabitants Everyone shall sit in safety under his own vine and fig tree. That is a reference to the Old Testament. Well everyone shall sit in safety under his own vine and fig tree, and there shall be none to make him afraid A amazing things are happening in the medical field. I watched her interview with Dr. Debrau. She was the woman talking about the death of sex and why sex and fertility were dying. I can't shake this feeling that I'm doing something wrong or that there might be an unspoken rift between my wife and me dor. So started to say that married couples have sex weekly, but she didn't really get into it too much. My wife and I did not have sex for eighteen months After we found out she was pregnant with our third since then, it's been either once or twice per month. How often should a healthy couple in my situation be having sex? Perhaps we are right on average for our age and given the kids's ages, than you Ken Okay. Well, first of all, you went eighteen months without having sex You know, it's not a question of how much a couple should be having sex. You might want to say Is something wrong? know, Are you angry? Is there a rift between us? Is something come between us? You know you don't mention how you feel about this. Maybe you don't care if you have sex. Maybe you have some problem with sex. A lot of this happens in marriages a lot that there's some unspoken trauma in the background that keeps people from having sex and they don't want to talk about it If you're not talking, you know, I'd much rather at this moment, you be talking to your wife than having sex with your wife and finding out what the hell is going on, right? Because you do not want that going on. If how could you how could you be living with this woman and not know if there's a rift? between It would be a different letter if you had said, I know there's nothing wrong. I talk to her all the time, and she says, she's happy as can be. You know, I don't know enough about your relationship. You may both be less sexual than some people. Some people are more sexual, some people are less. That's not a problem. But if you guys are unhappy, you should know and you should be talking about it all the time. is you should be communicating with each other all the time Now, you know haaving that many kids is a lot of kids and it can take you away. but you should be making sure that there is time for you to be alone together, not just to have sex, but also to talk. And you should find out. you know instead of asking me, you should be asking her. So All right, one more is from Rachel. She says I was wondering if you have a preference for writing screenplays or novels. I'm not a fan of screenplay writing at all. It feels foreign and wrong, whereas novel writing seems to flow more naturally. I feel the same way. neverever liked working in Hollywood. I never liked it. But it's a craft and some people are really good at it and I was really good at it. And you know it was labor, but I did it in the afternoons after I finished writing my novels. and so it never took up too much time.
