Whether you're here for the facts, fun, or just some law one hundred one, let's get into today's case Hello everyone. welcome back to the Bravo Docket. On the docket today are the rest of the divorces that we did not cover in the first part of our divorce episode. So we will be covering Dorit and Candy Burris's divorces. Dorit. That has been in the news a lot lately. Have you seen anything about it? I've seen some chatter on Reddit that I actually kind of didn't like it seemed really negative towards Darite. I don't know. I haven't been trusting a lot of the, I guess postings that involve either Darite or Kyle or PK. It just seems there might be a campaign going on there. justust in my opinion. Some of the posts just seem kind of inauthentic and strategic, but that's just my opinion. I have no actual data or facts to base that on. I just feel like people are being really hard on Dorite and holding her to maybe a different standard than they would hold other people. but that's just my opinion Maybe. I mean, we'll go through the records that were filed. Obviously, they were filed by PK, but they are based on financial submissions that she had to submit to him. I think there are certain things that are just part of the record that are facts that really can't be manipulated. So for those, I'm ust seeing them and placing judggement on them. but yeah, I'm not questioning the records. It's just kind of the discourse. I mean, look Her being late is annoying AF, but I think watching the latest season of The R House with of Beverly Hills, I just feel like Dorite was treated unfairly by her castmates. The fact that Kyle was coming at her for how she was spending, you know how much Erica has going on and you never say anything to her about Erica having glam And you know that Erica is being sued by Marco Marco at the time was being sued by the trustee because she hadn't settled yet, has other lawsuits against her. And you're not going up to Erica and being like, well, why do you have Glam? Why are you doing this? I can see the annoyance with that because there is this coordinated effort that they have where they agree to go after one person as a shield against their own issues And it happens every single season, which is incredibly annoying. and you can tell that Kyle and Erica have a pact whereby they won't bring up each other's actual issues So from that standpoint, I could see it being really annoying. But I think two things can be true. She is spending well beyond her means, especially in the middle of a contentious divorce where she doesn't have a grasp on the finances and doesn't understanding may need to manifest more money. But I think it also can be true that They're unfairly going after her because it's an easy target and their target this season. Just the hypocrisy and double standards. The way Kyle treated Denise with the whole Brandy Glanville thing and the way they all treated Denise for that. Now we know that Denise was dealing with an abusive husband and was probably terrified. And meanwhile, Kyle's in a full on relationship with a woman and doesn't talk about it. It's just infuriating and it's not fun to watch anymore. The double standards are just too much. I agree. Let's get into it though. So obviously we know They're getting a divorce. This has been a huge storyline the past couple of seasons for Dorit. So she is the one who filed for divorce april twenty fifth, twenty twenty five. I may have forgotten that fact. I didn't remember that. She filed. And in her petition, she requested legal and physical custody. She wanted spousal support for herself And wanted the court to terminate any ability to award support to PK. She says that the full nature and extent of separate community and quasi community assets and obligations are currently unknown and will be disclosed or amended at a later time. She requests attorneys's fees and costs as well as any other relief the court deems just improper, which is language that's always thrown into a relief. and I guess there's a restraining order. Do you want to read what PK is looking for Yeah. so PK, also known as Paul Kimsley, requests to terminate the court's ability to award spousal support to either party. He requests that child support issues are determined upon requests and submission of financial forms. PK requests to confirm specific assets as his separate property, including earnings and accumulations after the date of separation, along with miscellaneous jewelry and personal effects, I guess the jewelry that didn't get stolen He requests a judicial determination of rights regarding community and quasi community assets and debts. Noting that the nature and extent of these are not yet fully known. and then he requests that each party pay their own attorney's fees and costs, including any court issued sanctions. What he's asking for is pretty standard stuff. Yeah, I think the biggest difference is she wants her fees and costs paid for Okay, so recently, like we alluded to at the beginning of this episode There have been a lot of chatter about the financial documents that were filed in this case And it's all stemming from PK's request to sell their marital home. So he filed this motion to sell their marital home, attached numerous exhibits to it including a declaration by a CPA. who went through their financial records for PK's benefit, granted, there's some bias there. Summarize how much money is coming in for both of them, how much is going out, their overall costs, cost spent for the families on designer goods and all of that. So we will go through that. But I do want to talk about it in the context of the actual motion that PK filed So he is bringing this motion. We've heard so much about this house. like ye, I feel like this house has come up in the news repeatedly over and over, but I think this is the biggest full picture or the most full picture that we've seen about the status of the home how it's being financed, and what's really going on with the house and if they can afford it and continue to make payments I just feel like that was always a rumor for several years that they can't afford the home It's coming to surface now. So he is arguing that there's an imminent foreclosure risk that both the first and second mortgages on the home are in default and a notice of default and election to sell has been recorded for both. So the foreclosure is imminent or has already amens. So he wants this home sold so they can move on so they can satisfy their debts. And he's saying without court intervention, this is a major community asset that's just going to be lost. And then he argues that ree through councsel has refused to sign loan modification agreements, a listing agreement rejected a proposal for stable alternative housing and conditioned the sale on unrelated support issues and will through their communications, you can see what that's all about. So he argues while Darite has exclusive occupancy and substantial incomes, she has refused to contribute to the mortgage or operating expenses. He argues that she has spent over one million dollars on luxury items. so fashion, travel glam in less than a year while their home fell into arrears. Well, where's she getting that money from? Where's she accessing it from So we don't have the actual financial documents that she put before the court or had to produce to PK. We have the CPA's analysis of it and we'll go over it. But obviously she's making a good amount of money on Real Housewives. She's a ten plus year cast member, I believe. So I'm imagining she's making well above a million dollars a year as a cast member, I follow her on social media. do you? I imagine she has to have some collaborations? Yeah. Her book is out right now, but that wouldn't have been considered in these financials Does she do a lot of brand deals? She has close to two million followers, which is Yeah. reallyally up there for housewives. She's also not a housewife that you see in commercials. She's not like Lisa Barlow that's bopping around on TV. Yeah, Lisa Barlow is collabing with fast food franchises. Yeah, I guess I'm not sure. Oh my gosh. She looks so good in her carnival outfit. My Godd. She's stunning. She really is beautiful. She really is. And honestly, I really liked when they did the episode where they Did the blind dates with the men? Yeah, that was fun. I like She crushed it. She's gonna be fine. She will be okay. Yeah, she doesn'initely seem like someone that does brand deals. Oh wait, never mind, I just found one. Who was it with? Better gut? Better menopause. It's a menopause supplement. That was back in twenty twenty four. She has another one for Wds with friendriends. That game was fun Big one. Yeahah, that's a big one. Yeah, so she has some stuff Poppy, she's a brandal with Poppy. She has brandials. I'm pretty sure Dorite is making close to a million dollars. Yeah Okay, so PK is arguing that Dorit should pay at least thirty eight thousand hundred dollars in fees and attorneyss fees as sanctions for frustrating settlement and increasing litigation costs through her quote pattern of obstruction, non cooperation and delay. And then PK argues for fees to ensure parody of access to representation, noting his liquidity is constrained by paying family overhead while Dreit has access to substantial funds as evidenced by her luxury spending That's an interesting argument. Then she rebuts that PK is solely responsible for the mortgage and operating expenses and hes withholding payments to force her to settle. She refuses to consider a sele unless he produces updated financial records and resolves unrelated support issues. The redline version of the agreement, which we'll talk about, proposed a different real estate broker longer deadlines and required respondent K to unilaterally advance all funds to cure default with an uncertain reimbursement. And then in tax exchanges Dorite accuses PK of being absent from the children's lives, lacking character and making impulsive short sighted choices, which ' in there. So PK is seeking the sale of what's referred to as the Adelan property, and it's he's seeking order to immediately list and sell the real property located on Adelon Road in Esino, California And a temporary modification of the automatic temporary restraining orders to allow for this sale. So I mean, when you're in a divorce, anything that could be deemed as community property, you can't do anything with it until the court says you can. There's typically always immediately a temporary restraining order issued for both parties that they can't dispose of or modify any assets. He's specifically asking an order that the property be listed with Deborah Moore of Cor Williams and that Dorite signed the listing agreement and related disclosures within forty eight hours. And he's seeking an order requiring DRite to clear out stored clothing, shoes and handbags to make the property presentable for showings and to maintain it in a condition suitable for maximizing the sale price. He wants an order that he and Dorite each pay fifty percent of the property taxes insurance and mutually agreed upon repairs or staging costs exceeding five hundred dollars and an order that while Dorite resides at the property that she is responsible for the monthly mortgage payments first and second trusteds, utilities and ordinary repairs under hundred dollars. He wants Darit to sign a return. The loan modification agreement for the second deed of trust was in three days. And then he's asking for the attorney's fees and sanctions. And then he wants the net proceeds from the sale to be placed in a blocked interest bearing account in both parties' names and an order that both parties provide all cost basis records for the property within thirty days of a written request. Honestly, not super unreasonable. Right. He was paying for the mortgage most of the time they were living in it together.. She has been living in it solo. He's moved out and I believe he's still paying for the mortgage, even though she took over the marital home. So it's difficult in these situations when you're relying on a partner to handle those things. You and I both agree when we talked about this before, that it's insane that Dorite was not paying attention to the personal and family and household finances and was just kind of like, well, he takes care of it and I don't even know. I don't even know if we have retirement accounts That's not ood I remember we talked about it a lot with Jen Armstrong We talked about it actually when we were talking about Amanda Francis and the comments Amanda Francis made about Dorite. So that's when we talked about that. It wasn't like in its own episode or anything. But I do sort of see parallels with Jen Armstrong and Dorite, where they marry these men. they're just like, yes take care of me, but at a certain point that has to And what if your husband randomly gets hit by a car and you don't know where anything is, or he's in a coma? Even just for that reason, even if your husband is super trustworthy and has done everything right, you still need to know where everything is and how to find it and how it works and all of that Yeah. I'm saying even beyond knowledge, which I agree you need to have that knowledge. You should have a backup plan for when it ends because these things aren't guaranteed for forever. You know, your husband's not going to pay your mortgage for forever Have some financial literacy, have a savings account where you could cover your expenses for a few months like a rainy day fund if something like this were to happen. I think I take issue with people who are granted, granted there' stay at home moms that do put in a lot of labor and that's their contribution to the family home is their labor, their time. That is very valuable, but I still think even if you're not the primary breadwinner that you should always have some money to fall back on. Even though I know courts do give payouts to people who were fully financially dependent on their spouse, I still think it's smart to have some money set aside. It's very possible the court here is like, no He should keep paying the mortgage. I just, I don't know. It's just like not the way I live my life. But I understand it. You know, like someone like Shannon who was fully dependent on David, aside from the housewives And suddenly his support is gone David Bidor, Bor construction compomany. Yeah, suddenly the support is gone. I don't know, it leaves you in a vulnerable position as these things are being ironed out. So none of this is fun. and if you don't want to do it yourself and you do have financial means, then you should have a family attorney or an accountant or someone that if something happens to your husband or your wife and they're the one that's been managing everything, that you have someone you can call that's like, okay, yes, we have this money in this account here for emergencies. Here's what's been set up. and just don't ever put yourself in a position where if something happens to your significant other, that you have no access to anything, you don't know where anything is, and you don't know how to handle this stuff yourself. That's not good for you whether you're the husband or the wife or whatever. it's not good for your children if you have them. It's not good for anybody. Yeah Okay, so Paul filed a declaration in support of this motion I want to go through it I guess the other thing about PK though, like we've talked about is he very well could have assets elsewhere Oh yeah. in our episode about PK, we go into detail about his past exploits and his past legal cases. and this was well before she filed for divorce and we even were like, girl. You better figure all this stuff out in advance because he's good at this. He is familiar with it. He's good at it. Qintince d. com slash docket Okay, so he says, I'm respondent, I have personal knowledge Bobbly b The current request for order could have been entirely avoided, foollowing our separation or combined income was more than sufficient to comfortably cover all of our household expenses, including the mortgages and operating costs of the Adlon property. Instead, Durite chose to allocate most of her substantial earnings toward extravagant personal spending on high end wardrobe, jewelry, beauty, travel, and other luxury items rather than contributing to the basic financial obligations necessary to preserve our family home These choices have created the current financial crisis and have placed Darit, our children and me in an impossible predicament, ultimately forcing me to seek court intervention to prevent imminent foreclosure and loss of our most significant community asset. Well, let me ask you this, PK, why was the house in Darit's name at all if she didn't pay for any of it? Was it because you didn't want someone else getting a hold of it if they got a judgment against you? Is that why there. I don't know. So he says honor aboutout july twenty nineteen DarRite and I purchased the property, located blah blah, blah, Atdelon, Incino, California. For privacy reasons, we created a California limited liability company for the sole purpose of holding title to that property. DRite is the sole member manager of that LLC. Well, why did you do that, PK? Why would you want Darite to be the sole member manager of the LLC? You made that choice because Darit definitely wasn't setting up an LLC and doing this herself. so. And I think we know why. I mean, Darit ended up paying a bunch of his debts. We talked about that in the last episode too. Big chunks of his debts because she had income coming in at the time and he didn't. so yeah The Adeline property one of our most significant marital assets. There' no dispute that the property is a community asset. Well, I mean I mean, yeah, you did get it after you' were married You put it all in her name for a reason So it says Petitioner has also made several highly concerning statements to our mutual friend, Justin Levine regarding the property. The party's financial circumstances and her stated intentions if her demands are not met. I have been informed that these statements include threats, demands for immediate payment, and communications which link financial demands to potential reputational harm. A full and accurate summary of those communications is set in the accompanying declaration of Mr. Levine, which we'll talk about. I just want to bring this up real quick while we're talking about this because I do think a lot of the backlash I've seen against Dorite online is not taken in the context of PK, but go back and listen to our previous episodes on PK because he was placed into administration in two thousand nine. leading to his bankruptcy in London in twenty twelve. And then after he moved to the US, he tried to shield his US assets while dealing with the UK bankruptcy. And we go all into detail about that. And that was where the New York bankruptcy judge described Kimsley as a bankrupt who doesn't live like one, But now he's pointing the finger at Dorit. The court noted that despite PK's bankruptcy status, PK maintained a high end lifestyle, including renting luxury properties in Manhattan and Los Angeles Owing tens of millions of pounds to creditors, including Barclay Bank. I mean, PK is taking a very, I'm super reasonable and I don't spend money that I don't have. and Dorit's made all these choices. Dude, you've done so much worse than anything Dorit has done. So like we said, PK's been sued for unpaid gamling debts, including a multimillion dollar lawsuit by the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas. And then there were tax liens that he and Dorite owed the government substantial money and back taxes. But who was in charge of doing that? PK? I know Dorite wasn't getting accountants and making sure taxes were paid, that was you He was also accused in lawsuits by his former partners a self dealing transaction related to a thirty five million dollars personal loan. We cover that. I've seen all this discourse online. It's like, how is Dorite spending all this money? And it's like PK's been doing this for two decades and getting away with it. He's just good at it and Dorit isn't as good as he is. And now he's taking this highrod of being like, I did all these things and she's spending all it's like, dude No, you did this way at a way bigger scale than Dorit could even conceive of. And anyway, that's just okay I'll get off my soapbox Maybe a portion of that will come in during these divorce proceedings, but I think for purposes of the home, it's going to be condens I don't think it's going to I mean, I don't that's not really relevant. anything think that's going on right now except for the discourse around Dorit's spending. peopleeople are attacking her for that. That's why I was bring that up. If I was judge I'd be like, that'sirrelevant what's on now. I don't want to hear about it. Don't take up my time because it is I'm just saying, let's put some of this in context. Yeah. I mean, but as we read through, this stuff could be true too. I'm not saying both of these things aren't true. I'm just saying that's a it's a little cute of PK to be making these points when I'm like, you've done this on a massive scale. He doesn't get to have the moral high ground with expenses when he's got a gambling problem 'm saying So he says during that same time period, mr. Levine was actively attempting to help us reach an amicable resolution regarding the Adelon property and our overall financial situation. He proposed, through Mr. Levine, an immediate and substantial temporary relief for Darite and the children, that they move into his current residence, which PK would fully pay for, including rent and all living expenses For a period of at least one year, this proposal would have allowed D Rit and the children to remain in stable housing while the Adeline property was listed and sold significantly reducing Dorit's monthly expenses and relieving the immediate pressure on the family finances. Darit responded to this proposal by saying, quote, over my fucking dead body. This hostile and unreasonable reaction further demonstrates Darit's unwillingness to cooperate in any meaningful way to preserve the community asset or alleviate the financial crisis even when presented with a generous and practical solution that would have benefited her and the children. Again, he's painting a very specific picture of Dreit here, but also I feel like she paid off a bunch of his debts. and now is like now you're telling me after I did all that that you want me to move? No. So I won't be able to keep that in mind as we're going. Yeah, that's a really good point. And this is obviously Stating the obvious. R. PK's declaration. We don't have her side of the story yet. We don't know why she yeah, like you said, she could be pessed off that. she paid his finances. She wants this house. We don't have her side at all So he continues, we have two mortgages on the Adlon property. The first mortgage is held with this LLC, the other one is this other LLC. He says the amount owing for the first mortgage as of april seventeenth, twenty twenty six is four hundred forty five thousand nine hundred nineteen dollars twenty cents. He says the amount outstanding on the second mortgage as of may fifteenth, twenty twenty six is eight hundred and ninety five thousand nine hundred and sixty five dollars thirty nine cents. That's a lot. That's a lot. He continues, Dereit and our children and I continuously lived at the Adlon property until I moved out in may twenty twenty four following our separation D Rite has had exclusive occupancy of the Adlon property since may twenty twenty four And we know that from watching the show Mhm Based upon the information that has been provided by Darit and her counsel, Darite and I earned approximately the same amount, with Darite earning more than me in recent years. Nevertheless, since separation, I have been the one paying most of our family living expenses. I knew I would not be able to sustain paying for all these expenses for an extended period, and I repeatedly expressed my concerns to Dorite, which she rebuffed time and time again However, earlier in the twenty twenty five calendar year, I was unable to shoulder on my own, payment of both mortgages for the Adelon property and the mortgage on the residence occupied by Darite's parents. Darite was unwilling to contribute towards the mortgage on the residence occupied by her parents or the mortgages and other operating expenses for the Adelon property, even though Darite was exclusively occupying the Adelon property and not paying An of our other family expenses except for the children's extracurricular activities. Which by the way, is probably not a small amount. Those kids do a lot of extracurricular activities They do. They're always like in a little uniform. Yeah. What's the girl's name? She's always in a little dance costume. The son, Jagger's always like in a fencing outfit or you know Right Sort of a uniform. Right. How God, what's her daughter' name? Because both of those children, every time you hear them Phoenix. Phoenix and Jagger actually Both sound like very charming, articulate, super smart kids. They're so cute. And so cute. Yeah. I picture them both on a yacht, like chess. Yeah I mean, that kid, have you seen him talking about her outfits? Oh yeah. She posted a few years ago, but he would be like, Hmm, that doesn't go together. You should wear the Gucci. It's like, gosh. But they both seem very charming and polite and intelligent. I'm checking the docket right now and we have everything So there still hasn't been a response filed by Darite. So he says he made the payments on the second deed of trust until october twenty twenty five, at which time the lender stopped accepting my payments because the first mortgage was in default, which violates the terms of the loan extension on the second mortgage, and Darite refused to sign the loan modification agreement related to the second mortgage, which had been repeatedly presented to her and would have extended the loan for a period of time. DRit continues to feign ignorance as to our financial circumstances and the status of the mortgage accounts. However, I have repeatedly advised DRite of our predicament But she has refused to work with me to come up with an interim resolution of the issue. So he's kind of goes on and says like, I keep asking her to sit down with me and return to mediation, blah blah blah. And then she just responds with vitriolic and hostile communications, threats and repeated deflection from substantive issues. If I'm a judge, just for any practitioners out there I understand they're writing this, getting their point across, but Each of these paragraphs is really long They're all numbered paragraphs. They're really long, and they're kind of repeating something the same way and just using different words At a certain point, the judge kind of just wants you to get to the point. You don't need to repeat it twenty five times. Yeah. I mean, I could see her refusing to speak with him. Yeah and go over this stuff. Yeah. And we do know from the show. really didn't have a handle in their finances at all. Dorite employs the nanny not only when she is working, but when she is not working and on weekends, including when I am available and willing to care for the children, which is not fair or reasonable Okay, that's a valid point, but I also don't think that PK is reliable. If she's like, I need to drop the kids off right now. He may be drinking. He doesn't drink anymore. In the last season, he admitted he started drinking again. I don't know, but I could also see her being so flighty, so behind, so late. She's literally right now at the grove doing a book signing. And when she posted about it on her social media She said it's two PM D reit standard time, meaning I may not be there right at two PM for my book signing. I could see that being incredibly frustrating. I could just see her being frustrating to coordinate with. I feel like this is everyone sucks here case. Yeah They're both trying to make each other look as bad as possible, and they're both, I think, patently unreasonable about a variety of things. So there's no innocent here Yeah. In december twenty twenty five, after months of Dorite refusing to return to mediation or collaboratively work towards any financial resolutions, I ceased contributing to the nanny. He says he's been available on a frequent basis to care for the children, but he has not been provided with consistent irregular parenting time and that she he believe that. Yeah. He says that she refuses to sign the child custody stipulation based on their tentative agreement from july twenty twenty five And he says when she travels for work and personal reasons, she doesn't offer him the opportunity to care for the children Recent financial records produced, this has been circulating on Reddit, social media, everywhere, the financial records. So recent financial records pursuant to a subpoena issued to Bank of America, further demonstrate that petitioner spending is excessive and inconsistent with our current financial circumstances Oh, so it was through a subpoena. Specifically, the records show that during the period of approximately seven months through december thirty first, twenty twenty five, Petitioner, Durit incurred approximately six hundred ninety two thousand nine hundred and ninety five dollars in clothing related expenditures, followed by an additional fifty five thousand eight hundred thirty dollars in january twenty twenty six for a subtotal of seven hundred forty eight thousand eight hundred twenty five dollars in clothing expenses over an eight month period. I think we've always assumed that she just rented things or wore knockoffs, but it doesn't look like it. it looks like she's actually buying really I have heard, they do take it as a business expense, The housewives. Yeah, I don't think you're allowed to do that, but okay they do. We can't even exppense our suits for court. I do believe that she's spending this much money on clothing. I mean, I believe it, yeah. I didn't know what the source was of the information, but knowing it's coming straight from Bank of America chang things I thought maybe she shared them possibly confidentially in the context of discovery and then he framed them however he wanted to frame them. He's still framing them how he wants to frame them. He's adding up who knows what to come up with these numbers or these totals. But knowing that it's from Bank of America, I think takes out some Middle man. Anyway, during the same seven month period, a petitioner incurred approximately two hundred seventy thousand seven hundred and sixty three dollars in travel related expenditures, including costs associated with hotels airfare and vehicle related travel in various domestic and international locations, including Florida, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York, Australia, and Paris. The records further reflect approximately thirty one thousand thirty four dollars in expenditures phharmacist costs, medicines and materials for glam over a three month period. That's June, August, october, twenty twenty five. In total, these expenditures exceed one. million thousand dollars over the relevant time periods. These figures are inconsistent with any reasonable effort to conserve marital assets and future demonstrate Petitioner's refusal to adjust her spending despite the party's significant financial distress including the impending foreclosure on the Athon property. On or about april first through second, twenty twenty six, petitioners sent me a series of lengthy, highly derogatory text messages we're going to read through in which she repeatedly attacks my character, judgment and decision making In these communications, she expressly acknowledges the mortgage on the Adlon property as one of the critical priorities I allegedly quote, neglected while I was, quote, chasing a narrative. And she contrasts it with the children's schooling, medical coverage and basic stability. These messages demonstrate Durit's ongoing hostility, contempt, and unwillingness to cooperate with me regarding her joint financial obligations tied to the family home Her refusal to resolve matters amicably, combined with the continued conflict she describes herself, only reinforces the necessity of listing and selling the Adlon property so that we can equitably divide the asset, eliminate ongoing disputes, and provide the children with the stability they deserve. The expenditure is presenting as someone who has significant issues. He totally colluded with Kyle Richards to create this narrative because it was going to help him I never used to hate Kyle Richards like everyone else did, and I'm really, really disliking her. I am not here to be drained by you whilst you do whatever you like with no regard to the consequences. If that's your plan, we will be totally unable to avoid court I need you to speak with Justin and see if we can reach a resolution quickly because that's exactly what's needed, not a major argument between you and I on this subject. I'm unable to do anything without a written agreement given what's been revealed. Yeah. doesn't explain the spending here that's coming up. I think it's possible that she is like, I'm going spend my money and do whatever I want. She's like, I know you're not going to let this house go into foreclosure and that you're going to pull out that money from somewhere But isn't it only in her name? Well, the house is in her name, but also that's still an asset that he is entitled to because they bought it while they were married. I guess he doesn't really need it. Yeah, but he also knows the house is actually worth money and doesn't want to lose that asset. We talked One of our first episodes was about that And then twenty nineteen, there was a bank account belonging to Darit and PK that was frozen following a lawsuit by Nicosas Kursis, who we talk about in our other episode, who alleged that a one point two million dollars loan he provided in twenty eleven had not been fully repaid. And then PK he had a much more favorable ruling by the bankruptcy courts in the UK And so like his whole goal was to get the US bankruptcy court to follow the UK bankruptcy court and not have to pay a bunch of stuff back. So him talking about Dorit's capracious spending is kind of frustrating because she'll never get close to what he's done. That's just a very small amount that I just talked about. He didn't just lose his own money. He also has lost Dorit's money and gambling. Yeah, that's exactly why she's talking about a perception that he's trying to maintain that he can't. Yeah. And that's why she's saying when all the truth comes out, no one's going to be there to defend your character like I did. Right. She's literally saying that in these text messages. Yeah cle as day. Oh man. The suggestion that I do not care about my children's welfare is as defamatory as you have been for the last two years on television. Your most recent financial decisions put the children's home and well being at risk with your relentless pursuit of luxury items. I'm not interested in having a debate over this. If you wish to settle this, I suggest you make a suggestion, but it should be made with the reality of the current circumstances. And then she asks, what are the current circumstances? and he says, a house in foreclosure. If you want to make a deal, then make the suggestion, I will counter and we'll decide there. and then if we're too far apart or we can't get there. But yeah, just long text message by one. And then long text message by another. They're not getting anywhere. It's just them both doing these big, long text messages and kind of saying the same thing over and over again. PK saying, you need to stop spending so much money and it's in her name. So they can't do anything until she agrees to sign whatever he's presenting for her to sign, whether it's a mortgage modification or whatever it is And he can't do that. He can't sign the documents. He needs her cooperation and she's not doing it. And she's like, no, you need to find the money, pay for it. I'm not changing what I'm doing just because you decided to leave me and go date someone else. It's just the same thing over and over again Back to his declaration, he says in the text messages exchanged. She contacted me in an alarm about a letter she received claiming the Adlon property was scheduled for auction sale on april thirtieth. I clarified that the letter was a sales solicitation disguised as an official notice and that no auction was scheduled. I further advised her that she has a fast track resolution to the foreclosure and related issues by simply signing the proposed stipulation I have repeatedly provided to her through counsel Instead of agreeing or even proposing edits, Petitioner has refused to sign, demanded that I unilaterally pay their rears and remove the property from foreclosure as promised and accused me of delaying through my attorney and quote playing games with the children's lives. No, it's Darite, but I think someone must have emailed her. Okay, that So it says the only way my investor would allow for one more extension would be the terms outlined below. So PK must have forwarded her. No I think someone, a third party forwarded her PK's proposal, something he received So it says the first mortgage needs to be so these are the terms. The first mortgage must be brought current and remain current with monthly statements not just demonstrating it's current. We can't be put in a position again with the first mortgage being late ever again. The insurance needs to remain current in all arrears, insurance payment that is owed to PMS be paid at signing approximately seventeen K, one point extension fee for another six months to be paid at signing, house must be listed on MLS for sale Contractually, this will absolutely be the last and final extension this investor will allow. Who's the investor? He said it earlier. But is it one of PK's friends? The more I'm reading this and the more I'm thinking about all the research we did on PK for our last episode, I think Dorite's actually a lot smarter than people give her credit for. I think her saying on TV that she doesn't know anything about the finances is probably the smartest thing she could say because she knows PK and she knows it's dangerous to know about his finances.
