This podcast is part of the Sports Social Podcast Network. Welcome to the Fantasy Football Hub YouTube channel. In this video I am joined by FPL Salah to preview the biggest game week we have left this season, Double Game Week 36. A big week. Maybe the most opportunity left for Green Arrows this season. Not sure what you think about that. Before we even start talking about your own personal team, I just want to know your thoughts on the week in general, where your head is at with it, and how how big you think it is and how aggressive you're you're thinking of getting with these city and palace players. Yeah, I mean like I think we're all pretty much tripled up on City already. um and it's the palace players that we're gonna be transferring in and it's at the moment it's not looking too great, right? I think we've seen the rotation from Glasner. We've seen him actually saying he's gonna rotate and like last game against Bournemouth even said uh you know pre-match that he was he planned to take Moon Oz and and Pino off at halftime for Sar and and Mitchell. So And he's said after the game as well, he's like look we're we're of course we're focused on the Europa Conference League. So we know that's in their you know, that that's their priority. So it does make the players really tough to bring in. Um now I think the only player that we can I guess well two players actually I think we can say that pretty safe. I think Henderson, of course, the goalkeeper probably gonna start both games and then outside that's probably LaCroix, who hasn't been rotated yet. But that doesn't mean he he won't be uh in the in the upcoming games. Like attack wise it's just, you know, very unlikely that the likes of Sad Maternity these guys are gonna start two games. So it is it does seem quite slim pickings. However a lot will depend on the game tomorrow. It's obviously Wednesday today, Crystal Palace will play tomorrow at the time of recording. Um I'm just like just looking at scenarios, if they're up three one already, if they get You know, by half time two or three in a lot, but then Glass and take some of these guys off early. You know, like the La Craw, you know, the the guys who played a lot of minutes, you know, even even a Sar if they go out, you know, somehow, um, then that obviously You know, uh that that changes things a bit. It kinda makes them uh crystal pass at um um assets a bit more attractive. So yeah, it's just a lot depends on tomorrow, but I think at the moment, um You're only probably looking at two options max and that's Henderson and LaCroix. Yeah, I suppose it's not really worth um pontificat too much about what could happen in that game because the the you know the the minutes are really Like depending on what on w on game state. Um but the the final and by the way it's worth saying they're huge favourites. I think they're They l they're like massive favourites, aren't they, in terms of the odds and stuff, yeah. 90% plus likely to to qualify for the final because you know they can lose the game and still and still qualify yeah. Um that final is on the 27th of May. So there shouldn't in theory be any rotation risk outside of of this next game in the in the Premier League, depending on what happens, and then the the Arsenal game, which is game week thirty eight. So I get what you're saying, you know, if if a couple of these players do come off early then they could just play both games. a rhythm or whatever. Or maybe not. Maybe they'd want to just play them. You know, Sunday against Palace on the tenth. Have the city game off. And then again, Brentford on the seventeenth. Maybe play a bit of the Arsenal game before that that final on the On the twenty seventh, but who knows? Yeah, I mean the the thing is like the the play on thirds and then three days later they've got everything, right? So if they win that game, um they get to the final you know there's gonna be celebrations, right? So I think that Everton game possibly might have a notation. I think the actually the City game is probably the one Which has less chance of atation 'cause you know, it's it's on the Wednesday and they've they've got the rest from the Europa League the the Europa and every sense, actually. But that's that's the one that you know we're not really interested in. We want that every game at home. So yeah, it's um it's tough. Um But if somehow the Palace Ars are looking good for the Everton game, like the scenarios that we we just talked about, then I think we might bring in more than we anticipated. Let's talk about your team then. Um I'll bring it up on screen right now. Uh it looks it looks Very good for this week anyway, to be fair. You're in a good spot. You've got Gabrielle in already. Yeah. Um the Brighton boys are then back in. Right now, according to predicted points, you're benching Hill and Taverna. Which is very strong. Um and you have the the triple city already with O'Reilly Cena in Haaland, so Overall, what are you thinking? You got one point one million in the bank? How many transfers have you gotten and what is your what are your your tentative plans? I've got three transfers. I think one of them will be used on, I guess, uh strike two La Cron. Okay. or possibly even of a brugen to Henderson. Um but I I'm really favoring the you know strike to the Croix move. And then outside that like Um I've not got anything planned just now. So again, Lisb to Palace. If the assets are looking a bit more attractive, I might even bring in a a second defender. Um Yeah, I mean I think I think defenders are the best options 'cause of the the the Def Con. But if not, if I've if I only do the one Palace player, then the other moves will probably be s you know the ones I'll I'll be looking at is something like a Palmer Tosaka, possibly an ajal pedo to Gyocres. Yeah um We talked about a bit about Smeno with Cherky, but I don't really fancy that, especially with one of my transfer's already been used up on on a Palace player. Well it's worth mentioning we we were talk before we start recording, I w I was just getting afterwards like sort of general thoughts. And you y what you said about Smenyo and Cherky was very interesting. So I want to delve into that because Somenyo is one that a lot of us own. I mean his ownership, I don't know overall. His ownership's fifth fifty percent overall in the top Whatever, engage managers, it will be way harder than that. A lot of us, including me, looking at the Semeno to Cherky move this week. It does seem like quite sideways, but Cherky has been a lot better than Semeno In terms of Yeah, actual overall play and FPL points. The last. Four weeks or so. What are your thoughts on that move? Yeah, so uh I mean, when you're looking at expected minutes, right, it really does kind of tempt you to to make that move. Um however I was just mentioning you know the reasons for kind of C menu coming off early. And something that I picked up that that Luke I think we all know I think his Twitter handle is Dis underscore able. on on Twitter. Um he's very good at predicting, you know, Man City and the and the lineups. Um he's quite popular among the tw uh Fitter community. And he did mention that the reason why Semenu gets taken off early is that when City are are chasing games, um he tends to want to keep Cherokee and and Doku on because they're better creators. And you know, he he wants to bring on um somebody to replace his menu 'cause he's more of a a goal thread rather than a creator. Uh whereas when they're kind of defending leads, he's really good at pressing and and defending. So he he tends to stay on longer in those games. So I mean I guess you can take that two ways in in the sense that we know that he's not really been getting taken off because he's been poor or Pep doesn't like him. It's just a tactical s uh a tactical play, right? And how many minutes he plays over the double probably will depend on game state. And I think on that basis, like even making that move, like a s menu at Cherk, I can back it's just one of those moves that I think they're so similar in Like, you know, uh in in terms of FPL potential. Like Smain's got the better goal threat, um Chequis got the better uh a sister and he's got the better minutes at the moment. But who knows whether that um will be the case over the double and do you have enough free transfers to make that kind of move? Like with me with three free transfers and you know already using the one on a on a Palace player, which is You know, I I I don't know if that's a a a good use of a free transfer for myself. Um that's just something to think about if you're looking at that move. The one thing it does do is it does I I think I think You can't really argue against the fact that you are moving a less informed player to a a more informed player that is is better at the moment. Um like w uh like what you're saying about the minutes is really interesting. The truth is that like no matter the reason for the minutes. being different, the minutes are different. Sherky is like he's looking super fit. Semenyo is playing a lot wider as well than he was when they were playing that sort of split striker thing, um, a couple of months ago, which I don't think is is that good for him. But yeah, as I as I was saying, like you are getting One and a half million as well. Or slightly less if depending on your your buy price of Cemeneo, but whatever. One and a half million back. And that's enough to go from Jar Pedro up to Jocaries if you wanted to. So it's sideways, but you are saving quite a lot of money too. Yeah, I mean if it's facilitating other moves, that that is something that you definitely need to take into consideration as well. And and yeah, if it's facilitating something like that, which you really want to do, or even bring in an Arsenal defender, uh, which you haven't got, then then yeah, it's worth it. Um but I think you just need to look at your own e each person needs to look at their own kind of team, what it allows, how many free transfers you've got. I mean d I'm just speaking from myself, I I don't think it's really worth uh me making that move because I can bring in uh like for example a Saka for a Palma and I can I can get Jal Pedro um um uh to Yorkeres without making that as many a Cherky move. Yeah. Because I I'm thinking of doing the Palmer Saka move. So And I've already got a g a Gabrielle there and and a N Arsenal Defender. So for me it makes less sense than maybe it would for other people who have possibly got, you know, more I guess more free transfers or uh they want to facilitate another move. But um but yeah, I mean it's it's not a move which I think uh It's one of those moves I which I think it's it's fine to do, but also it's it's totally fine just to keep spinning as well. Yeah, that's fair enough. Let's have a look at your recommended transfers. On screen right now, very interesting these. Um the recommendation is to make all three transfers. And like with my team. The the the AI, fancy football hubs AI is super hot on the Palace defence this week. I think it's the DEF CONs of LaQuar and Canvo in particular. are giving them such high predictive points. LaCroix predicted to get eight point six points, Canvo eight points. If they both are to start both games, I think like It makes sense. It's just where you have the expected minutes at, and obviously, you know, that's that's the main point of discussion this week. But the recommendations are to sell Palmer. Sasaka. Which is a movie just mentioned, and then Strauk and Hill to Lequa and Canvo with using that money that you have in the bank. So Saka Laqua Camo in. Farmer Strout Hill. Ow. It looks really good on paper. Yeah, so that that would be actually the moves I would probably make if You know. this Palace Europa League didn't exist, right? Yeah. And you know, Palace of folks in the league. Like that would be the moves um I I'd ideally want to do bring in the two defenders, bring in Saka for the last three games. They've got West Ham, Burnley and then Crystal Palace. And you know, uh as you mentioned last week as well, like when I bring in the two palace defenders, I I don't really need to play them in the next two weeks. Um Uh and even if I didn't want to play them next week against Bentford, I don't think that's quite a bad fixture of but unfortunately Unfortunately at the moment, um yeah, it's not looking likely that I'll bring in a second palace defender. I I'm I'm also not sure whether to bring in like an an Arsenal player this week. Um rather I think maybe possibly wait until you know the game week thirty seven game against Burnley. I do think West Ham might be a tough game. Um there's gonna be a lot of pressure there for both teams. I think it might be quite cageed, you know, just kind of looking at you know, game state wise. So you know, I might possibly I don't know. I mean I'm still deciding on whether to go for like an arsenal attack or two arsenal attackers or even go for like a triple defence or or a double defence and and one midfielder. So I might give myself one more week for that, but Um, I think just looking at three game meets left, I think I'm I'm kinda leaning towards just making that move now. Um and just, you know, gambling on it 'cause there's not much time left. Yeah, I think Palma to Saka is like is definitely worth it. Even if we don't expect Saka to to play the whole game, which I don't Palmer's been poor. He might not even be on penalties now. Uh Liverpool away is a pretty tough fixture. I know, I agree with you, it might be a cage game, but Arsenal are like they're in a really good moment at the moment. Against Fulham that first half they look really good. Like yesterday, Plasco Madrid, they're pretty much I think I would Go as far to say they were relatively dominant in that game. I mean Atletico had some chances, but like they controlled that game really well, especially the the the last thirty minutes or so. Atletico really didn't have much at all. Um I think they could have scored a lot more as well. Yeah. Quite a good few opportunities. Uh I think Saka is just Saka's another level. Compared to Palmer at the moment. I think it's worth doing that movie. I mean that that move will be happening. Palmer won't be going, but it's just a matter of this week or next week. 'Cause I think this week I can easily bench him. Right now I've got him on the bench, actually. Oh wow. So I would probably play possibly hell over over Palmer. Um I mean what a what a sad what a sad statement. Hill away f a way of fully over Palmer. What are we doing? Yeah. Gosh. Yeah, that's a good point. I didn't actually even I mean I've I've No, I mean I know I mean like the fact that you're saying that and you're actually you're you're genuinely thinking that means what has happened to Palmer. Surely at that point we should be like, Let's sell him, right? Yeah, um definitely. I mean like I mean even like for example Jal Pedro, like a Chelsea uh I mean it's uh I know you're a Chelsea fan and yeah what's it like six, seven games in a row they've lost, scored one goal, conceded fourteen. Exactly. They've not been great, but like even like a Jal Pedro, right, he does look like player who's only gonna be like the the only player there who's actually looking like getting points. So don't mind keeping him for the last two, but Palmer has been so poor, like every game I've seen him play in the last like five, six games, he's just not looked up for it. And he's he look I don't know if he's carrying an injury or what, but Yeah, he's he's not very likely not to be my team much longer. Um and it's a shame because we know what he's capable of and hopefully he comes back stronger next season. Yeah, I completely agree on that. I mean I I benched Shar Pedro last week, which was In hindsight, not the best move, but I played Palmer just because he was on penalties and he missed a penalty. And he looked really bad. And Joe Pedro still looked like relatively threatening, could have scored two goals. Or really well. He's the only like Don't want to say like a bright light, but he's at least still playing okay. And looks like he is himself. Rather than the rest of the attack is just I don't know, disgraceful at the moment. Yeah the Palmer penalty was uh it was unlocking, it was a sore one because like he wasn't even that highly owned. Like people have been rid of Like Jal Pedro and Palmer, and that was the game, you know, but unfortunately it wasn't to be. So in terms of your transfers, are you gonna do something similar to to what we've got on screen? Saka, LaCroix, two names you've obviously mentioned. Canvo is You mentioned it last week. So good for DEF CONs. Has the highest um DEF CON Hm. Minute. of all the palace players because as you said, he did he didn't start the first half of the season. He was coming off the bench. Since starting, he looks like a great option, but What are you what do you think you're likely to do? I mean I I might gamble on Carnival at the moment, as I said, it doesn't look likely. Um, you know, I I I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up starting both games 'cause he hasn't been rested much yet. Yeah. But um Le Cros it's probably gonna happen and I'll probably likely do Palmer Tasaka as well. I'm not sure whether I'll use my third transfer yet, because I could use then have two feet transfers in thirty seven to pass putting in more Arton players and see what happens. It's worth mentioning Semenya to Cherokee not on here. Not even close to a deliberation. 'cause looking at the predicted points they're pretty much exactly the same. Yeah. Yeah. I mean Yeah, I mean for for me I um like I d I don't think that's a good use of a transfer. Like if I use two transfers, for example. Um And not bring in Cherokee. I think that the two if you transfers into thirty seven to bring in possibly more Arsenal players is a bit more valuable than that. Um yeah, I just I mean look, I I could be wrong, but I just think looking at the predicted points, looking at the the expected minutes and their underlying stats. I don't think it's uh an urgent move. Again, as I was saying before, it's a move that you know is perfectly fine if if your team allows it. But I think for me it doesn't make uh make as much sense. Just a bit of word on on Saka's minutes as well. Like I'm a bit worried about his minutes and But they have been Although he's been getting taken off early, they have been gradually increasing, really. Fulham? No. Yeah. Yeah, fill him, was it? Yeah, he a three nil game. He he was like, Yeah, fill him. So half time he got I think fifty nine minutes against Athletic Core. Expect them to play, say, I don't know, sixty five to seventy minutes. That's beyond. Like you see the difference between Maduweke and him. Oh yeah. They looked relatively comfortable when he came off against Atletico. So I think it was like that. I think Arteta must have thought that we can get away with getting him off here because I still believe that the league is the most important thing. Yeah. For Arsenal. I mean I totally agree there's a wall of difference between the two and uh I think that was quite evident yesterday again, so athletic uh no offense to Maduca, but it's just I think this is the link as that. I hope so. Sign up. But but yeah, I mean look it's just it's more it's more to do with the level of Bakayosaka, right? Yeah he's the um he he's he' he's he' he's too good. But I mean he why he he actually hadn't been playing that well this season, but since he's been back from injury, he's kinda shown us what he's actually capable of. what we know you can do. And I think the the positive sign for me is I'm I'm looking at this and thinking his minutes are only gonna increase. So like maybe sixty five to seventy minutes. You know, that's I think that's being quite optimistic as well against West Ham. And then against Burnley, um you might get possibly similar similar or more. I still think Arsenal are gonna be going for that goal difference, uh just in case they you know 'cause if if they win the la the next two games, City win and they draw against Palace on the last day of the week, uh the last day of the season, they could still, I think, finish level on points, right? With the City. If Parse will draw. So the goal difference I think they'll still go for. Um and I think like they're gonna look at those two next games I think, okay, West Ham and Burn, especially Burnley and think like it let's not just you know, it's it's too good of opportunity to just go for a one nil win, like go for the goal difference in those games. They're definitely good enough to um, you know, rack up three or four goals uh in this in those two matches. So um I I do think uh those are gonna be good games for for attack for Arsenal and even with Saka's reduced minutes, I still think it's a good option. Yeah, fair enough. Uh guys as well, if you would like your own air recommended transfers, use the link down below. You might be thinking it is it's too late in the season now. What's the point in signing up? There's a seven day free trial, so If you don't like it, you can cancel. And this is as I said the top of the video, the most important week, I think. In terms of like potential points. I is it I've even been on the I've been on the recommended transfers so long that it's just reset. It updates frequently. So it's worth checking this as well, like close to the deadline. um for everyone's teams and yeah, it's personalise to your team. Right now the transfers for your team are staying the same. Nothing has changed in the last Couple minutes, but who knows in a couple of days. You know, like the minutes of those palace players will affect things. Obviously on Thursday night. Anything else to touch on this video, Abdul, or shall we leave it there? I mean captaincy is pretty obvious this week, and I think if you have the triple captain You use it, don't you really on Holland? Yeah, I think you do. I think you use it on Highland. Um Again, like two home games he's he's gonna be like some like eighty percent to score at any time over the two matches. Um I mean if you look at any models or any kind of market odds, he's gonna be top by far. So yeah, I mean it's um I think it's it's quite uh it's it's very difficult to go go against Haland uh this week. Okay, let's leave it there. Let us know in the comments down below, guys, what are your thoughts on Palace minutes? And um Yeah, how how bullish are you on the defence in particular? Something I'm weighing up whether it's worth a transfer to go from a a defender to a LaCroix, whether that's worth it over a to menu to Cherkey. So I'd love to hear your thoughts as always in the comments guys. There's one thing I do want to mention actually. I did I did a poll a few days ago. on how many palace players um the people are looking to buy for the double, right? And Thirty nine percent, which was a majority, voted zero. Yeah, uh that's what I'm currently on. So it's gonna be interesting to see how much that changes, uh, and whether that is still gonna be the case, uh come the deadline. Yeah. Let us know in the comments how many are you thinking of having. Thank you very much, as always, Abdul, for your your tips and advice. Thank you guys for listening and watching. Good luck this game week. We will catch you. The penultimate one next week.
