Now in the books, and we just met twelve new guys And we were kind of surprised to see one girl in particular still on the shelf. Now with that, welcome to this episode of Amy and TJ. We'll get into that more. There was some controversy ahead of time and a lot of us didn't expect to see one of the new bombshellves still there given some of the controversy online. Yes Honestly, we were expecting to hear something anything from Love Island producers from Peacock, but it has beenicket so far. We are talking about of course, the new bombshell in Casa, a more twenty one year oldonaona Heiser. And yes, she has been depicted. It hasn't been verified necessarily, but she has been depicted in a resurfacace video singing along with the lyrics and saying and dropping the N word. There are also some questionable posts that may have come from her also using the N word. and yet She's still kicking. And's a surprise because they've had this exact controversy in the past and made immediate action, took immediate action and pull people off the show, including they did so this year before the show even started this came up and they had to boot somebody. So That was surprising and Res I did and we want to leave room here. I mean, the stuff's not verified. The video is hard to argue a little more so, but then some of the posts, they could be manipulated, they could be AI, they could be fake, fine, but then Robes At least according to TMZ, said they heard from her dad. Yeah, who is defending his daughter, saying that it's the defense that Black people will tell white people never to use. Don't I got black friends I've got friends of color. How could I possibly be a racist? If you know how many black people have been to your house, if you have a count, you racist as hell But I don't know this guy what he was talking about, but Yes, but they said this is what now Rhodes brings it to another level to me of verification. If her dad is coming out defending her saying he's not a racist, it seems like he is suggested. He would have said no, that's not her. That's a fagake video. You're right. And look, it's it was just he just they just had a few snippets. So you know, we know how TMZ rolls and they're very effective and efficient in trying to get a quote of some kind. so it's likely they found where he lived and he just gave them a too quick sentences because it wasn't some in depth interview that he gave, but he definitely went into defense mode and it would You would think that if that wasn't her in the video, that would be the first thing he would have said. So in In that respect, then, we have a video contestant an islander using the N word. while singing along to a song. That's the exact same type of video that got a previous girl this year kicked off was on a Montgery. Correctrect rarapping along to a song. I don't know. So yes, they're already talking about is there a double standard? on Love Island now, or is there a new standard? They were even suggesting that some of the previous ladies should go su loveove Island, like Kick me off, what about her? She did the exact same thing, But Robes, I wonder about and wouldt worry about the message We are now saying, okay, yes, she did it. Oh well, no big deal. There are no consequences.. Maybe they're just hoping that Zach's going to pick Kata instead and they won't have to worry about it because she'll be eliminated in a few days anyway. But still that if you set a certain standard, if you create a standard you have to then enforce that standard and you would imagine that the only way a standard works is if it's equally applied. So maybe there's a reason this one's different. I would love to hear so. I wouldn't have argued for them kicking anybody off But now that they have set that as the rule Now I'm looking at you loveve Island. Okay, I'm waiting what's different because the suggestion Res is. Yeah, go out there, sing, say the N word. Who gives a damn? You don't have to be respectful in public or in private. And there's nothing they're almost signing off on what she did is how it's being interpreted. Right because their silence is deafening. I mean, it's just interesting they have not said anything in order for this to go away, they either have to give a reason why they've decided not to take her off. and there may be a very good reason. There may be a very valid reason or they need to make a decision to apply the same rule to everyone Yeah, wait for the explanation, not. any it, I'll wait to he. Yep. And that was part of the reason why we actually, well we were going to tune in anyway, but certainly we were waiting to see if Alana was going to continue in her role And she has been coupled up withack and it looked like business as usual. So that was a little shocking in last night's episode. I actually thought this actually happened sooner than I was anticipating. in past seasons when you have the islanders, the boys go to Casa more and the girls get this new crop of men coming in. Usually it takes a while before people start missing one another, but man got folks just a day or two into Casa Amore and they're already Ting away for their other couple who is just, you know, a few hundred feet away. I it happened on certainly strong on the men's side, but women yeah. We' doing it the. Oh yes. And this is where the relationship lesson comes in. Robes, the grass looks greener Right? They all came in, all excited. And I said it immediately when I saw the guys and when I saw the new crop of girls like, do they just send in like hot pieces of ass or are these supposed to be wife material that they're sending in? Seriously, are these supposed to be women you're considering? or there's just supp you call them Yes, Yes. Okay. bombshells, temprresses. Is that what they were supposed to do? because it seemed like it was just about lust. Nobody's trying to get to know anybody. Hey, let's go in and just swap some spit or whatever other fluids we can come up with. Okay Fine, but roes. Once that newness went away on both sides. Oh Right? It was so funny to watch because it is it is a a very specific extreme example of what happens in real life. The shiny new things seem so exciting. They were just I mean exploding with adrenaline And excitement because they were like, man, the vibes are different. wasas it Corbyin who kept saying, manan, I'm feeling these vibes, the vibes are new. Yeah, no one's bothering me about who I'm talking to or whether or not I'm open or if I'm exploring. Yeah, dude that's because you just met. Just give it a day or two. you're going be right back in the same pattern. Corbyin's not the best example. He's not missing Kenzy necessarily.. No, he's not missing Kenzy. But everybody else Otherwise It was a fun, this was an interesting episode because I was looking forward to so much. We got the crew on the couch as always sitt therere watching this thing me and the girl, me, you and the girls. I think that was mystery one. Okay, Alan is still there Um And I didn't expect, you tell me, I don't remember this the Casaore episodes from the past. You said this happens, but you were surprised that it happened so quickly? Yes Yes. Uually what ends up happening is that when everyone comes back and they decide who brings if anyone brings a bombshell back or if anyone keeps a bombshell, they all this's a very dramatic moment when the couplees who were coupled before they were thrown apart and tempted, who stays together and who doesn't? And more often than not, they end up choosing one another. There's always one or two who go rogue and pick the new person. Maybe it's just one person. But it takes a while. like they're excited about their shiny new objects on both sides. but I was surprised like the girls already were just missing their men and two of the guys, one of them brought to tears, although that was a controversy. Bryce at the end. L, I was I was saying, o, look at that, but man, I went online and looked and people are calling him. They're calling them crocodile tears. They're calling it like they're like that was a tearless cry and they thought it was selfish and that it was just about how he missed how Trinity made him feel versus actually missing Trinity. Yeah, he's in his twenties. He's selfish when it comes to relationships. Exactly. Yes, that makes sense. We see it all the time. We've all been there and done that. I mean, I just yes, I wish he might have been a little more mature, but right what he's doing right now, and I think it's true om He go to his new place. Th new women come in who you don't have time to get to know and he's starting to remember how somebody else made him feel, how he felt special, how she listened to him. Yes That all makes sense. Trinity is a gem and I Realize that more now Robes, there's value in Casomore that situation Exactly. And it's interesting because physically he literally chose a girl who looks almost identical. Trinity. He has a type. I actually have her name because it was interesting to see who paired up with whom. We don't know who the women are going to pair up with, which I thought was interesting. They did a group vote of the six men they wanted to keep and the six men they wanted to kick off boys like literally coupled up. Now we did see everyone invite someone to their bed. What a strange situation. Would you like to sleep with me tonight? But yeah, we have She had the boots on. whoever was with had those patent leather long Bryce is with Sidney. That's the look alike. And she's sweet as Bi. She seems lovely, but she ain't Trinity and he was literally I mean, he was spiraling U Yeah, I guess we heard a little bit from Sincere as well talking about possibly about Melanie, Zach isn't really talking about Gada U But Bryce, Robes, Yes. I appreciated it. I thought Robes in the way he was speaking in that confessional whatever talking about Trinity He was taking his time. He almost seemed surprised by what he was thinking and saying and feeling. Yeah. and I was I was actually thinking Trinity is going to whatever happens with him. She'll actually really appreciate just seeing that that even if it took a little bit of absence for him to realize who she is and what she contributes and why he likes her. I think that was pretty cool to see Sincecre Yes, saying he missed Melanie, but he admitted to kissing Amora Not shocking, but was Amura. Amura is the she's the she's a lighter skinned black girl. She's got some beautiful lips. I think that might be a very It's right? Y. And she seems lovely, but Zach, Casey, Corbyn and Calem are enjoying those new ladies. and I would say especially Kasey Casey is all into to Tiera or Ti Casey's done. He jumped right into her and all the things he's saying. it's honestly, babe, I feel I'm sure a lot of women are saying, told just so, knew it, saw it, he is showing his true colors and it's almost as if he's a different person. I got duped too U And again, he might it's the environment. He could just be behaving badly, immaturely in a lot of ways and some of what I'm seeing, like Just Silly Boy behavior And I got that's the best way I can describe is like, oh boobies and you just start going crazy and it's His behavior really, really weird. I think he's twenty four and maybe some of that's coming Is he twenty four? I he's in his young early twenties. Y. Maybe that's coming out, but there was so much about him early on that we liked that was charming. that was you that was mature, that was He calmed people down. He was measured. helpeled Bries he had so much He was my favorite character. He was episodes. And for a lot of us, he was, Yeahah, he seemed to be mature and measured and not overreactionary and look, not over em overly emotional. and he was dealing with some intense feelings from Manaya So I thought, yes, he did handle it well, but maybe what he did is internalize all that and then say get me that F out of here and exploded when he got free.el That's what we're watching. It's all been pent up And finally there's a woman, a black woman of the same skin complexion, the same thickness who ain't frowning Wh seems happy to be there and he's like, I'm here for that energy. And she she knows she knows he's vulnerable. She went after him from the moment she stepped in. She was smart. She was strategic. And I do think some of the men we saw this to with the women went after the women who they knew were possibly in the most shaky of relationships or in no relationship at all. So when we come back, we will talk about What's going on at the villa with these twelve men. It was a very different scene over at the villa versus what we saw the soft porn sex show over at Casa Amore. Yeah, the islanders back home seemed a lot more tame. We're talking about episode eighteen and yes, I hear what you're saying. We were going to break and TJ iss like, what are you talking about? Those women were just as y is the meny is what we' going with. You know what, hereere's the deal. I do believe that Kenzie is now working to find a way to do the splits in every episode It that that is it's I'm actually kind of waiting for it. We could do a drinking game, although we aren't drinking during the week, but well we can take sips of water every time she does the splits. I guess this those are the guarantees every episode. She's doing splits, Sincere's giving us a stupid analomy These are the guarantees. Yeah, what was the analogy last night? I forgot I remember didn't write it Hilar. You know what we need to keep a running toll. We could do a whole episode at the end of this with Sincecere's analogies. They're priceless. We're waiting for them. I also love some of the small talk about food and just when you're meeting strangers, it's always awkward. Now do it with microphones on and the world watching. One of my favorite moments, I just wanted to remind you when they were talking about the food they like to eat And someone said something about Tuna Tar Tar And And Kenzie follows up with, I try to stay away from cheese Maybe they edited it in a weird way. Maybe she misard. It says a bun. It was so confused. I had another one last night. I think there was, but that one really jumped out at me and I laughed for a solid five minutes on that one because I just it just made no sense to me as does a lot of what comes out of her mouth. But they edit some. They've been having fun and the narrator, Ian Ian Iember can last name has been having fun and they have been poking fun like flat out making fun of them. Oh in some turnerms. The way they edit some of this stuff is absolutely deliberate for you to take a good belly laugh. But okay. so I was we were just saying when we were watching the women and the men, I thought finally, they're not doing these raunchy like laap dances, sex shows They're actually getting to know each other and this is so much nicer to watch actual human interaction take place without it all being about swapping spit Now put your ass in my face. And then and but it's still I will say like this may be so bad that this is what we're measuring it up against. But man, that initial Casa Amore episode was just like so overwhelming. I was appreciative that this was just a small, it was definitely less raunchy. over at the original The law No, you disagree? I disagree. Wow. I just think it didn't go on as long. Maybe. But it's also so awkward. like they can all go ooh,h, come on, some stranger comes up and puts you on the ground in front of everybody and then starts making out with you. Okay, I have a questions that I don't remember the previous. Do they usually bring in this many guys? No, I don't remember there being twelve guys before. So that's new. They bring in twelve guys. The girls can choose six. They choose these six and then they Now we're going to go through the process of kind of introducing themselves. So they say what? The guys you can pick two girls you want to kiss And I thought they were just going to walk from where they were up front with the host over to the seats where the women were around the fire pit. That would have made sense. Lean down, give them a kiss. St there, give them a kiss. But they were clearly instructed Take the women from the seat Walk them up in front of the fire pit as if it's a stage And the first guy robes knew automatically I immediately laid down two girls you want to kiss. You go pick Kan's hand and then go lay her down on the ground in front of everybody. No yeah, it was just as nasty. We were like, Oh come was on. I thought it was Wh? And these clearly this is a producer suggestion because there's no way that this would be something that someone would just do. And then Once one person does they say, hey, you should try to one up each other. you know they're whispering that into these contestants ears like, hey, come on, be as sexy as possible. It was And who was the nastiest one? I think it was Kensey She was the one that put her butt and was twerking in somebody's face, inches away from a man's mouth she just met five minutes ago. And then she said it made her so happy because she finally got to show off her skills. You know what? o. Do do you think? so And okay. This is not an indictment of her. This is just more so an expression of what I appreciate watching in my reality television I mean, look, they know what they're doing. Yes, they do. They know what they're watching. they know what people are watching. I am just still blown away how you could do all of that knowing and maybe their parents don't watch. and maybe their parents' friends don't watch. And maybe they do. Everybody's watching. Everybody's watching. I'm just imagining go forward in life after this It doesn't matter. Maybe things have changed. But like try to get a job somewhere. Noro tryry to be taken seriously anywhere. It's not going to be an issue Try not to be always associated with provroocative sex. L most of these people will be forgotten within a month Like you'll never be able to come up with any of these names. You can't tell me the finalists from two two seasons ago. Probably not even three from last season, right? It's just it's okay. It' cycles. The problem is though, I always tell this to to anyone who's coming up, they don't realize you are and for instance, just with all of the controversy that comes up with past posts If you can Google someone's name And some of these videos come tr. And like you are never going to ever have this not be associated with you and your behavior and how you choose to act will always stay with you. Hey, why should someone be held down from having a job just because they put their ass in somebody's face on national TV What's biger O, I think they'll find out the hard way. why that actually may not be advantageous in the workd. You know, I didn't even ask just generally, what did you think about the crop of guys that they cate for the girls? I look, and I hate I just felt like we both said this. almost as if is as if they' incentivizing the islanders to test out the waters They've created a situation or they've cast it a certain way where it seems and maybe it's just because we're more familiar with and we've gotten to know the other characters, but they don't seem like they're their the same level as the people they're already coupled with. It seems like these are second and third tier, and I don't mean any disrespect by anyone, but it does feel like the casting was deliberate. That's hard to say without sounding like you're being disrespected Exactly to that group. and maybe we just don't know this group as well U Bright didn't get a chance to see their profiles, hear about their families and whatnot, but it does seem like these are guys just thrown in there I to shake the ass and
