It's back. I had a few episodes. We were doing okay. L the relationship stuff. Go well and there are still really good relationships disiscussible moment. Okay sprinkled throughout. it's just these challenges. They're one uppp being one another in the level of ick. And I actually feel like this one This episode's challenge was deliberately designed to skeve everybody out. even theill the villa And the islanders, they were literally screaming closing their eyes Also egging them on, but even they were appalled at what they were saying. Hey, you said it was intentionally meant to skeve us out. Why would anybody want to do that? Why would any producer want to do that? Wh Why, baby? It seems like they're trying to create conflict. Like Wh is so much of the complaints we have a lot of reality? Things like they put them in situations, put them with alcohol and just try to be explosive as possible They're setting up very explosive relationship dynamics to get people pissed. Instead of like we're not trying to find love, we're trying to find conflicts Wow, this isn't you don't have to do this to enjoy the show and see people trying to make legitimate love connections. You put these people robes in this position Kiss off to one up, to compete to see who can hurt the other people's feelings most by making out with somebody else. Rhodes, I hate this. Yeah, this challenge was tough because I'm assuming all of y'all have already seen it. but they basically let in real time, you know how your partner, the guy or the gal you were coupled up with in the island, how they were doing in terms of making out with And it's way more than making out, but just getting sexy and sexual with a new person by basically seeing a barometer of just how sexy and steamy things are getting while you're making out with someone else. You're trying to out . the person you're in a couple with with somebody else It's that you're trying to make out so hard with this new person that you are graded better then you're actual partner making out with somebody roams, They're up in the ante to make you make your partner feel as bad as possible. And it worked.ab I hate this. And it worked because that was exactly what whoever didn't win walked away to their confessional saying, man, all I can think about is who is this other person and what were they doing with with my person. Okay. and it worked. well And we actually did not watch last night. we were exhausted so we didn't watch it night of. We watch it this morning. Sabine My thirteen year old' on our way to school and she had watched, stayed up late, watched, and she sent us a message and she said, you're gonna hate it Ding ding ding ding ding.orrect d ding ding ding Rose, this was I give them credit. there wasn't as much rel. There was some stuff in here. and I may we should get to the stuff that I liked and we smiled about and it was fun and it was real. But I just they're going to stick with this. They think it's working, they like it. They're setting records with viewership. And the worst part about that it is look the kissing were so done with but you know what? there was licking, there was biting, there was feet involved again for the second time. Kenzie got in her splits all over this man's body. Like it was I just and then oh, we didn't even say it ended with a full blown orgy. like actual orgy with clothes on where people were switching Women on women It was I think one of the craziest things I've ever seen on television. You couldn't get away with his on broadcast television for sure, and that's fine I just they're making a choice. and I guess R, their numbers are reflecting the success of the show. And maybe the point is to get everybody talking like, oh my God, did you see that? Even if it's not positive, you're talking about it. Correct. So maybe that's enough. It really is a turn offff For me right now from the show, is it gonna to make me stop watching? It hasn't yet, We're invested here But it sure makes you fast forward. It It makes you Rose It walked out of the room in a couple of moments. I just couldn't watch it anymore. But Rose it doesn't feel like it feels like some of the connections, the relationships are intentionally being sabotaged. hundred And it's on them, yes, it's on sincere and Melanie. It's on them to make a decision with the new people that come in. They can decide not to go do the making out. What you going to sit there on the couch when everybody else got up and did the thing when all the producers are telling you, you have to do this. You got to go harder. You can't expect them to sit it out, but man, Ro, it's setting up a very explosive and not real world scenario that couples Could the argument be made that they're being tested in extreme ways so that when they are back together or when they do leave the villa, that they have actually been through some pretty incredible challenges in a short period of time that have been Exceptional intense and beyond anything perhaps you would be tempted with in the real world. No, abbsolutely not. because in the real world, I don't end up at another house for four days in just my swim trunks and she's just in. laauneross. Yes. Okay That's much better description than what I'm talking about. No, that's not real work. Again, it's just a game, it's just a show. It's just supposed to be silly. But Robes, I, you, a lot of people get invested in hoping some of these people make it And some of these people are going to be okay. So when I see them being manipulated in the most disgusting of way is just a show Proucers know what they're doing, this is the hit It's just don't they're not making it for me. Yeah, and they're young and they're malleable and gullible and they're going along with it all and they're getting into it and they're in a bubble and they're cut off from their friends and family And they might be making choices that they wouldn't have otherwise. In fact, I believe one of the women looked at cameras and said, sorry, mom and dad, just fast forward through this. Ohah, I remember you talked about, but wrong I mean, it's the show. I mean I don't know what to say about. Where does it go from here? I guess would be, look, we already know all about sex. We already know about who slept with whom. We know about French fries. We see everybody basically swapping bodily fluids with one another on a regular basis. Where could they even take it in terms of being provocative? I feel like they've maxed out and gone even beyond where they should have. There' been simulated sex acts last night where some of the worst were last nightes. And this is not that's not an overstatement. I might be putting it too lightly There were simulated sex in people's mouths Corbin had his face licking a woman's butt that he met. day or two ago Res, was one time Trinity had her own hand in her mouth sucking on her fingers. I actually was gagging some of this. This wasn't just a make out of sweet makeout section session It wasn't Is it hot? Is that sexy? I was just gonna ask you that because For me, and I mean, everyone's got their own opinions I don't think that any of that was sexy at all. It was repulsive to me every bit of it. Yeah. These are actually good looking people. Yeah who look ugly as hell on TV. And what you're doing, it's just I can't skin it it' just a game. Everybody just relax. It's just a game, just doing the thing. It's just not what I like to see. I'm actually hoping and rooting for U since're in meelany Rooting for me, you know why? 'cause I I've been riding with him And I've seen all they've gone through This is this is it's unfair to that relationship. And I guess what we're supposed to say is Melanie and Sincere can always make the decision to back off and not pursue anything else. Okay, fine. You really think they're not getting encouragement? Oh, they're abutely to make sure And I've never seen a season like this where it's very clear that the producers are encouraging. and then group thinkink takes over where you've got everybody like you know, banging the drum going w trying to get the barometer to go up higher to win the competition. So everyone's egging each other on. You can see how this happens, but just all the back and forth. And look some of the islanders talk about how it is weird to have feelings for more than one person to be in a situation where it's totally okay and encouraged to be actively dating multiple people at the same time telling them how you feel and not knowing Wh or which one you like better? ro All of the guys and all the girls like their original person better. Maybe Morbin is the only exception. Cool N Ky I think Kasey's coming around and realizing what he's got over in the other villa. Really? It was the grossest one yet, but before we got to the challenge, we actually were learning a lot about The ever changing feelings of the men and the women about one another after they've been now tempted, exposed to new blood. And I will say, both Corbyn and KC Both said at one point Girls willill Corbn definitely said it. He said the girls here are better than the girls back at the villa. And I was like,, those are fighting words. That's not gonna hge you well. That sound. Itn It wasn't even received well when it was uttered. And it wasn't necessary to say Unnecessary. And how could he think that, by the way? No offense to the new women, but he said the women at the new place are better than ones at the other place.'s because he's caught up with Parmita right now, He's all up in Parmita right now. Literally. Yes, in every way possible. But Kasey, he was doing the same thing and look, we talked about it. You said, well, this is what he's supposed to do, but he went and told one lady, Ti, he's all under her and he was. Then he goes and sits her down and says, Yeahah, I'm gonna ask the other girl to spend the night with me, Syiddney. And then he wakes up the next morning and says, ye Yeahah, I'm not really into Syne. I think I'm going go back to TT. And now he's trying to decide who he likes better TT or a. TT was the originalera. Yes. Okay, now TT. There we go. good relationship moment. TT known this guy for a day or two She slept, They were in the bed the first night. Correct. And heick switched and tried somebody else. Okaykay? Surely that hurt her feelings, but it's what he's supposed to do to feel things out. Robes, we both say, o When he had to tell her he was going to try another woman in the bed the next night. We didn't go over well. It was I think it's fair for her to feel way she felt. Yes. because she made herself her feelings very well known because they've been watching the show. So these women knew who they wanted going into it. And so she wanted KaseC. And made it clear from the jo. And look, so she was very vulnerable and she got her feelings hur. Then they started going, ooh, she acted worse than a Ny I started like throwing her under the bus. Then he realizes, yeah, maybe Syidney's not my gal. Ges back to TT. but here is what the red flag for me was with Kasey. He was when he was describing and comparing her to Anayah. He was like well Anaya didn't pick me. TT picked me. TT makes me feel wanted. And look, that is basically how most people operate when they choose who they want to be with. It's how you make them feel.. Look, I feel like and we're hearing Anayya saying she misses Kasey.. Anya is not she's with Carl, but I just I don't know guys Yeah. They kissed once, but it She is holding out for Casey. I think that is going to be one of these really tough ones when it comes to who they choose. I do think there iss a strong possibility Casey is going to bring Tierra back and Anayya is not going to pick anybody Wait, Casey's going to br T te. I keep getting mix TT. Bart same thing, sorry. but I think Casey's gonna to bring TT backag You think he's going to stick with an Aa? I think there's a chance he's going to come around. There were some cracks I saw in him and he softened a little bit in his pursuit of TT, right? It was he was all hot and bothered when he got in there. He was upset with An nah. letting it all out, letting it loose. He's going out and having a good time, but then I think the dust is starting to settle robes. And I think it really turned him off with Ti, when she got upset Right. Which is what most people do when they're invested in someone. And even though we get the game and know what it is, I thought that was a very human moment And I thought even though she was upset, she didn't yell, she didn't cry, she didn't curse. But I think it turned him off a little bit to be challenged again. likeike another woman is upset with something I did. evenven though he knew he was wrong I think he knew because of how he was kind of answering Oh yeah C b b stop, bro.. He kept saying that. But she came back the next day and apologized, B. She did. how don't know how old she is. She showed me something in that moment. Well it's true. And you know what? I will say this leading up until that moment when she apologized, She ended up in bed with Bryce and everybody has to couple up And they had a shot at one point of her kind of cuddling up with Bryce and Bryce looks at her and says I'm sorry, I'm just thinking about her Trinity, he is like a love sick puppy. Okay. so right now, go ahead and put this out there This is Bryce and Trinity's to lose one hundred percent because Trinity just guaranteed to win by that behavior yesterday. aggreed. And Trinity because it all feels very genuine. And then Trinity is sitting there saying You know, that she is thinking about Bryce the entire time. In tears. In tears. So the two of them, I do actually think Bes. I'm rooting for them. Iependent of each other. I like them both. Not knowing either would ever see What they're saying in that confessional, they said that. I know They are your clear front rununners. if they can just get back together, this is gonna to be beneficial for them. I'm all about. Oh, that Trinity is a special one. I agree. She let the guy down easy as well. V honest., Trinity's. Yes. And the other thing, okay, we have two other things to talk about. Okay, let's talk about pooor Caleb caught in a love triangle once again and just honestly cut his losses this time. He knew he was going to lose. He was with Permita at first. There is a shot of the three of them on the couch It is Caleb Permita and then Corbyn. Corbyin and Bermeta are all over each other taking selfies and he's just sitting there so awkwardly the third wheel, it was hilarious. So he cut his losses. Good on him. This time, right? It was u He saw it come It just We like everyverybody likes Caleb. Yeah. we just can't even want him to go home to find him a good girl. Well, he moved on to the other blonde. So he is now with Alba. Yeah, she look, you know what? you nailed it. You said she looks just like Jessica Alba with blonde hair. actually ike next time you look at Jaden is her name As soon as you said that, it's all I can see. Jessica Allba with blonde hair, but they actually seem pretty well suited to each other. Yeah, they seem kind of jew. Okay. She was the one that apologized to her parents after one of the right. And then this other ridiculous thing we're watching, and you even said you recognizeed the look in Sincere's eyes, But they did a really good job. the editors did. They don't have a lot of time. So I'm so impressed But they were literally going back and forth between Melanie and now she's into Coreory, right? So that was who Trinity said, no, thanks. So she and Coreory are He's trying to do a hard sell on himself to her Too hard. needs to Ppe down a little bit. And conversely, you've got TT making a hard self herself to sincere. It's been two days, you're not falling for me. Well sounded like she was.. So now you're listening to Mel talk respond to Coreory saying, you know, I'm the guy for you. You need a man like me. You need a man who's dominant, who can handle you basically, who can manage you. And then you've got Ti telling Sincere like, you know, basically, I'm your girl and I'm going to be there for you and I can love you You said you saw look on sincere space. He did not want to be next to her He it's no offense to her Everybody can probably relate to it some point in your life. Yes. There has been somebody. you're in a relationship. with that they want to be up under you or snuggle with you or cuddle with you and you know. you don't want to be close to this person. You might not have terrible feeling. but you can't they're not doing necessarily anything wrong. And in fact, you think you should want to reciprocate. and it feels even worse. He's trying to be nice Yes, he's making out with her But I just don't see him his. His language, even, he was like, he was basically saying, I'm so happy you've allowed me to explore my feelings. And the fact that she didn't pick up on that was interesting. Oh, she did She did. So Is this the first and I missed it. So I guess he needs to give back with Mel because we need the metaphors because they are amaz ing. Okay, so If anyone and we'll end it on this, if anyone. My question. women. callall each other bitches like this all the time and does it bother Some women to hear other women. sometimes it's positive and sometimes it's negative. But women just so freely fly and call each other bitches like this. So it's the yes, it's genen Z the Zoomers. and I say this because I know I hear Ava and Annaalise. Ava more than Annalise, but they'll call each other bitches. They'll call each other. They'll say that's veryous words. It's that whole reclaiming a word that was negative Now I can say it. now men can't say it. U You know what, gay men can Like in the circles, like gay men can call, we can all call each other that word. I'm not I'm not somebody who speaks like that typically, but I hear it all the time. It doesn't bother me. It's what girl it's like you're my girl But you just say, hey, but I hear them say they've said it positively to their own girls, but also about other women. this bitch I've been I say this bitch, then that's obviously negative. But they've been using it both ways, positively and negatively. I just didn't I've meaning to ask you if last a couple of episodes. Oh yeah. It's a total thing now.ough that word has been reclaimed. It speaks of like female kinship, basically We're all bitches together. But yes, if you say this be, then that's a totally different meaning. Just you got to pay attention to the inflection and who it is you're talking about. O thing, what did you think it was? Jessica Albis? You said I've never cooked for a man. Oh yeah I don't know why thatud I just stopped for a second. She's very young And that's okay is I don't think she was trying she was just asked about. I'm not sure how it came up, but Is that a thing? Is that just a random thing? Did you think anything of it when you heard it? It did catch my My radar was up And I do think it also speaks to this generation of women where look, they're going against the stereotype. Our mothers cooked for our fathers. I mean, at least mine did. and most my friends moms cooked for their fathers. And so now you've got a whole crop of women saying, I've never cooked for a man, and they're proud of it. So I do think there was a little bit too And if I did cook for a man, it would be special. It's not because I have to or I'm supposed to It only be because I want to. And I do think that that is part of this whole recorrecting or over correcting, perhaps what stereotypical norms have been for so long. No, mayaybe it's just correcting and maybe some people think this correction should be made. My mom for my dad, I'm not going to do that I'm going to have a I'm going dry hump a guy on national TV I'm gonna take back my power. That's right. Mama couldn't do it. host status. No, come on. It's a game. It's a game. No. But I do think that that is the thing though.. Like people say, well, we've seen shirts, people proud. they're going against slut shaming, basically. And so you're saying, I own this, I do this, this is me. I'm a sexual being And I can do whatever I want to whomever I want as long as it's consensual. Which is true, but I would never look at that in co Like I'm not looking at you and saying slut. We say slut shaming because what? we slut shaming people who swap spit and are having An orgy and trading off and doing this on a show. I'm not slut shaming anybody. I'm just saying it's gross. Knock yourself out. No and I think that's why oddly, I do think that's why it's accepted now to see what we're seeing because for so many years it was so unacceptable that it's just this over cororrection and that that is an over cororrection Like, come on. I can't even believe we're watching this on television. I mean, honestly, it's wild. Tell me the positive. tellell me where you've read something where people's like, yeah, peopleople are really eating up what's happening this season. Wh peoplee are loving the changes because all they keep pointing to is the ratings As long as the numbers are up, there is no problem. shocking everyone. Okay. They're just shocking everyone. And I think at a certain point we're all gonna be numb to it and it's not going to be shocking anymore. And maybe we can go back to more of the relationship. I don't mind kissing a little bit. Come on. My last question, are you good? Becauseuse I was I wanted to end with what you think, who you think on the guy side If anybody, who's going to make a switch when it comes to the recoupling. Obviously is Corbn Uh d d d I had to make my money put my money on it Robes goingone with Corban is the only one switching. Yes, because Caleb can pick whoever he wants. But the other guys sincere. U Zach Casey and Bryce. You think they're sticking with the OGs? Bryice for sure. Yes, right? Sincere, I would even go close to.
