Okay that's on me. I just hate I hate to be that person to take I put it in your head now that something that made you so happy, you stopped doing just because I was complaining about it Well yeah. Hey there folks, I'm TJ Holes, the complainer. No Ill just give you a hard time about it. Now I miss it. isn't always how it goes. so funny.. Welcome everybody to this Friday Eve. morning, Ron. Got a bunch of stops to make today, including in Paris and Boston. That stop is an unexpected one. We'll also be making a stop at the National Mall at the Kennedy Center. Making a stop in Detroit, as well as in Manhattan. But we have to start no doubt in Caracas Road where there's a still developing tragedy really going on. Yeah, that's right. So we give this number, but it is far from what it's actually going to be. At least thirty two people are dead seven hundred others injured after back to back powerful earthquakes in Venezuela. The first quake, seven point two in magnitude happened around six PM local time around or along the northern coast of that country. No so that was a seven point two. And then about a minute later, a seven point five quake hit. Now early images show extensive damages, including, yes, collapsed buildings in the capital of Caracas. seearch and rescue has been going on throughout the night. Roge you said you expect that number to go up, but right now, you know what they're doing. They're digging They're trying to find survivors. Yeah, they're trying to find survivors. According to the Venezuelan president, she said that the hardest hit areas like the disaster zones haven't even been accounted for. So we don't even have the beginnings of just understanding the scope of the disaster and damage caused by these two quakes The next leg of our run though takes us to Paris where the first case of Ebola outside of Africa has officially been reported. That sentence is alarming, ain't it? It is. All right, yeah, this is health officials say this person had been in Africa on a humanitarian mission, returned to France. They say this person right now is in stable condition. Makes sense, Robves, they're not giving a lot about who this person is and the identity right now, but good to hear they're stable. Of course, the next questions then come about who this person has been in contact with. And this is the scary thing arrived France. What plane were they on all of that? So right now we know in Congo and in the area there that has been affected, there are two hundred seventy seven confirmed deaths More than a thousand confirmed cases, but the contact tracing in this case and just in Africa is overwhelming. They're talking about thirty five thousand plus people who have to be identified, notified, monitored. It's out of control. All right, continuing on our run here now. and the next leg takes us down to Texas to Camp Fed. Is that was called? Yeah, I believe that's what it's called. Camp Fed Camp Fed. Yes, convicted Jeffrey Epstein associate, Glaine Maxwell is in prison down there at Camp Fed and she's still trying to get out of prison. But right now, Rbe, she is making a new argument for why. Yes. In a newly unsealed document, Maxwell argues the newly released Epstein files disclosed new evidence. And if that information had been known during her trial Here's a quote, No reasonable juror would have convicted her. The prosecutors strongly disagreed and called her new claims baseless. Yeah, I'm trying to figure out what new evidence somehow exonerated her. They seem to almost laugh at her attempt. She's doing this pro se. She has no representation. So she is filing all of these legal claims on her And it doesn't seem as though the prosecution is concerned whatsoever. They gave a long, long response. They did. But it could have just said child please. Yeah. I mean, just' like it N. Anyway, but Maxwell is serving a twenty year sentence. She has long claimed that she's being made into a scapegoat because Jeffrey Epstein died by suicide. All right, next leg of our run takes us to the national mall. Well girl, you know it's true. We don't need no Milly vanilly for a two hundred fiftieth anniversary. We got Lee Greenwood. Yes, the great American state fair officially kicked off with the man himself mister God bless the USA. And yes, he's saying President Trump under the stage last night for a rally that Res, of course, wasn't originally supposed to happen. Don't forget Cash Patel's girlfriend. She was there singing the national anthem. that last night? She she singing the national anthem? No, it's a family affair. It was. They had the best and yeah, they might not be headliners, so to speak currently, but they did usher President Trump onto the stage and he was unusually brief. basically made himself the headliner after all of those artists started canceling. The rally was the opening event of the Great American State Fair, which runs through july tenth on the national Mall. Yeah, he only spoke for thirty minutes. That is incredibly swift when it comes to the president. He usually spends hours shock on theage. I was shocked This moment He stayed on script. I thought he would take this opportunity to do all kinds. He did not. What was that about? That might just show that he is actually I think he's still pissed about the whole thing. He can act as if it's no big deal and this is what was meant to be, but he just I think get me out of here. Yeah. He did what he had to do and then left. Well, he didn't talk much on the rally stage last night, but apparently he was doing a lot of talking at an earlier meeting. Yes, it's our next leg of our run is pretty much a meeting that didn't seem to go so well. This was between Res, the president and Senate Republicans. It reportedly got heated, and the president reportedly even called one senator a lunatic. That sounds about right. The meeting came at a tense time between the president and Senate Republicans. Remember the Senate this week passed that war powers resolution, which was a rebuke to the president And then yesterday, the president abruptly canceled plans to sign a bipartisan landmark housing bill because he was pissed at the Senate for not passing his election reform bill. And man, you're not going to do what I want. so I am not going to sign this housing bill that both Republicans and Democrats have passed and agreed to. Now in this meeting in particular, he clashed with Senator Bill Cassidy of Louisiana. This was the guy he targeted in the primary and actually lost his primary. Bill Cassidy did, but Cassidy afterwards was telling reporters or describing how it went, said he was trying to question the president on Iran The president essentially shut him down, told him to sit down and shut up. He said he wasn't going to be bullied. so they had this back and forth until Cassie said he decided on his own to sit down. Wow. And they reversed the rebuke. correct? Yes The next day. Yes, because the president said that that was undermining the negotiations, the ongoing negotiations with Iran. That was his big arg against the Republicans who jumped the ship. They rebuked him one day and the next day they took it back. All right. Well, let's see if the tarP is going to come down. Next up on the run, that tAarp, you know, that Tarp they put over the Kennedy Center to I don't know why protect What was their actual reasoning other than not wanting anyone to get a shot of Trump's name coming off of the Kennedy center. Is it conditioning the marble. It had something to do with renovation protection the work some sort of Okay, but the tarp still stillill there. And the judge wants to know why We all would like to know this. Of course, the president's name was ordered removed from the front of the Kennedy Center. A crewz left up this giant tarp. What was it june thirteenth, a Saturday? It officially all came down. It has still remained there. The public still has not actually seen Robes the front of the building without Trump's name on it. Where did I see a picture? Was it the Washington Post? someone sneaked out side view to see that yes, it's The name's gone, but you're not getting that money shot that everybody wants of the Kennedy center returned to its original signage, I guess. So a judge yesterday ordered the sener to give him a status update on renovations and in particular explain why that damn tarp is still there. They still have a couple of weeks to officially file an answer with the court Presumably that tarp is going stay up. It's gonna to stay up through the fourth C on. That's pride. Really, it's just the name of the center. It just goes back to the It's not a come on, man. See, these are the things ropes, the reflecting pool. This is not a big deal until you make it one by saying, oh,' Vandals took a big knife and all these things, it's okay. It's down. Just take the tarp down. let's move on. This would have been over. This this he creates controversy. He creates it. Just like he creates a war that he then claims he ended. whatever. Next up on the run, Detroit Lions Cnerbark I can't talk. Detroit Lions corarnerback. Terion Arnold has been arrested and is facing multiple felony charges in a bizarre robbery and kidnapping case, which could land him in prison for the rest of his life. Yeah Arnold is a very young player. He was drafted in the first round just two years ago by the Detroit Lions and he does play R He is a very much an active and important member of their defense. But prosecutors say he coordinated and directed his co defendants to lure three men to an apartment Where they robbed, beat, and held the men at gunpoint. Why was this happening? Well, apparently or allegedly, these men had robbed Arnold, some house that he owned as an Airbnb. They took his stuff and he took matters into his own hands, according to prosecutors, leading to all this is a very young cat facing all this time in prison. know when you see Detroit Lions cornerback You know facing kidnapping charges. you think what am I reading? So right now, he is being held without bond, not that I'm like comparing him at all to OJ Simpson, but it reminds me of OJ Simpson ending up going to prison for stealing back his own stuff. That you're on the same.'re exactly. That's one of the first thoughts I had and just you can't take the law into your own hands again, allegedly eged All right, Ne up on the run, a flight from Newwark to Nova Scotia had to be diverted to Boston after the pilot became incapacitated. Eric Canada says the pilot experienced a medical emergency that required him to be removed from the flight deck. Yeah this was only about an hour after the flight took off. The co pilot took over, safely diverted the plane to Boston. Their images wrote, you see the ambulance come out there onto the tarmac and he's taken away in a stretcher. We don't have an update on the condition of that pilot Braes. This is why there's two. I was thinaking the same thing, thank God for co pilots. But yes, we don't have an update on the pilot's condition right now gl that planane was able to land safely and that pilot was able to get to the hospital. You know, there was an expert that wanted to point out, when you hear co pilot, it's not a less than an apprentice of kind. Please it's a reason that person is just as capable and can fly and at some point was a pilot and they just go back and forth. But this is why it's not like you had some rookie having to fly the plane. Oh no, what do I do now? No, they know what they're doing. They were in good hands, all right stay with us here on this Friday Eve, R, when we come back, it is hot in Europe It is record hot in Europe. In fact, we saw one spot have the hottest day. And when we say ever, we mean like as in its entire history. This is crazy. When you hear that a country like France had its hottest day ever recorded What temperature would you even think about? Now we have it here in front of us, but I'm trying to think. if If somebody' told me, what do you think the hottest day on record ever was in France? I don't know what I would be. I would guess like maybe one hundred five or something like that. Well, wow. o, well, it was one hundred eleven. The southwest part of the country, they recorded a temperature of one hundred eleven and that is roobes, the hottest temperature that that country has ever seen. This is part of a heat wave you've been seeing there in Europe. It is sweltering roobes. I guess we got out of there just in time. Yeah. Although I was gonna say, you love this hot weather. You're probably thinking, whereere was this when we were there last week? Yeah It was a little cool. We were wearing jackets. Okay, yeah or atast in at least three of the countries we were in It's hot and obviously I go right back to Rome last year year before. it was hot as well, but to walk down this, there was a big street. We're all walking down this pedestrian street, big wide street, all this st Cso, right? Yes, All this wide space. And I'm the only one walking in the middle of this wide street and everybody else packed onto this littleitty st includluding your at the time girlfriend.. I I was not walking with you. You weren't my fianceight. That's why I was saying that. And I couldn't figure out, like what is everybody doing? Why are they walking over there? And you had to break it down for me? Yeah, we were walking in a very narrow shadow from another building that provided shade Because we were all hot and apparently you were just, you say when you have like direct hot sun hitting your life. It charges you up like Mario super Mario Bothers. I was like, it depletes me. I have to go see shade. I love it. That was a funny funny moment. of across street. I'm the only one walking in it. a two foot across sidewalk. All of y'all be honest when you say all y', you mean all the white people. Well whatever whoever needs shade at the moment All right, next up on the run. The US men's national team will be back in action for the World Cup today, but they don't really have that much to play for, which is a good thing Yeah Yeah, they already secured first place from their group. They've already won the group but they're playing Turkey A's ten o'clock Eastern time tonight. We That's going to be tough when to time to watch when there's not much on theline. So it's so funny when I first saw you put the story and I was like, o no, they play at ten PM because obviously we're going to watch. and I obviously want to sleep and make sure that we're just ready to go in the morning and then I saw we don't need to win. So then I thought I don't need to watch. whichich means I will be asleep. It's worth watching the team always, but They're probably going to rest some of their players and right now we need rest as well so we can root for them the next day. Exactly. All right. And for the final leg of our run, this is TJ's favorite story of the day. For good and bad reasons. I don't know. Yeah, you have strong feelings. A video recently went viral showing a woman stealing a trash bin off the streets of Manhattan. Why would she do this? Well because it was painted blue and orange, it was all a part of the next championship celebration. And they the city showed out for this parade. They put up sign was it still say Champions Way and blue and orange under all the street signs on Broadway right now? And look, they had these special edition trash bins that were they looked really cool. They did look cool. But they lined the streets with them for the parade Robes, there is a plain as day clear video. Why would she do this? but a woman completely decked out in Nick's gear picks up a trash can on the street, dumps all of the trash. That's the worst part, whichich it was full. That's the worst part. Dumps all of the trash live in this city on to the street
