I'm not gonna mess it up I can't see the substack comments. I'm hoping that will that'll pull up for me. But hello, happy Friday night . We are continuing on reading from the Epstein Files . If you have not been here before, my name is Ellie Leonard . I am a writer on Substack and I have linked my YouTube. I am figuring out all the other platforms , bear with me . I am not very good at all of that, but I'm trying. I'm also not very good at like , I don't know if marketing is the right world, but like getting the word out that these things are happening. The reason I'm doing this is because I was part of the Epstein Trump reading room filibuster in New York City, it has now moved to DC and I'm hoping that it will get some more exposure. They're doing good work. But in that time they had people come read for twenty four hours straight and it was a really great opportunity to show people where actually in the files because we talk about the files a lot but we don't always know what's in them and even when we know what's in them there are things that I just feel like tell a better story of the individuals whom we're talking about and make this more real life versus things that we're reading about online or in articles in the newspaper , you know, kind of stepping into conversations and people's lives and understanding them as humans. I sort of equate it to like when you look at black and white pictures you have trouble relating to people, but now that they have AI, which I'm not condon , they can take black and white pictures and really clarify them and make them colored. And sometimes they make them move around a little bit. And all of a sudden you realize that they're just people at another time, but they could be, you know, you or I , I feel like this does the same thing, you know, hearing things in people's voices and their thoughts and the emotions and the things that they're saying and the pauses . I just think that it's really important to like put life behind the words as we dig through these biles and try to, you know, find justice for these women. So So today, something that I like to do every week , you know, if you are feeling generous is I put a QR code up in the corner for some type of nonprofit that goes back to help the community of survivors . I try to be really random with them or just to encourage you to find one in your own area, just google something in your area that helps survivors of sexual assault or hous es the unhoused, you know, women's shelters, food banks, that type of thing. So every time I do this, I put a QR code up in the corner. I will also link it in the notes for the show afterwards if that's easier for you , but this week I picked or this today I guess, I picked the Victim Rights Law Center and that is in Massachusetts and I will read their little blurb. It says The Victim Rights Law Center provides free , comprehensive legal services for sexual assault victims with civil rights issues in Massachusetts. Our attorneys harness their knowledge from representing survivors to trained professionals nationwide to improve the response to sexual violence . Again, you don't have to donate to that specific foundation , but I try to include something different every time that benefits survivors. So if you're feeling generous, please donate. So this is the transcript ofgin Viria Geoffrey during her lawsuit with Galley Maxwell for defamation because of course Virginia Geoffrey was very brave, she stepped forward and then you know, obviously Glain Maxwell lied her ass off. So this is the lawsuit that followed . And this is Virginia's testimony. It's very long. We have been splitting it up . But also it's important to note that Virginia received a settlement. We don't know for how much it will never be enough no matter what it was . And so that was the conclusion of this lawsuit, but then Glenn Maxwell obviously went to trial in twenty twenty one and was convicted on sex trafficking charges and is serving currently a twenty year sentence in a prison camp in Brian, Texas that only houses prisoners with five year sentences or less. Is that corrupt? Yes, it is . So that's why we're doing this. We're going to expose all the things that she did, sorry my no stitches . We're going to expose the things that she did in order to get more information about her case in the h opes that it prevents her from getting the pardon. Okay, so we'll start in the upper left hand corner and this is oh gosh, I'm gonna I don't have the name of her lawyer, where is it Miss Manager? This is Glene Maxwell's lawyer questioning Regina. So Miss Manager starts. Is this your handwriting ? Yes, and she's talking about a passport application . All right, what did you put down as your address at this time to mail the passport to? It's about the second line, third line . Number thirteen ? Well, the third line says mail passport to what address did you put down ? Are we talking about number thirteen? Permanent address, do not list POBOC Street ? No, I'm talking about the third line in the entire thing that says mail passport two . Oh, I'm sorry up here. The redacted redacted redacted alright . So you asked to have the passport mailed to you at your parents' address, right? I don't know if it was mailed to my parents' house, but that's the address I sent put down , yes . Okay, so is that the fiancee you were talking about earlier Yes . In January of two thousand one, were you still his fiance affienced, his fiance ? Looks like it, yes . And what address did you put down for James Ostrich ? It's kind of hard to read. I think that's a three. I think it's redacted. I really can't make out the telephone number . July twenty third. Yeah, I really can't make out the numbers and stuff though . But the box, driver's license is checked off , yes , okay . And then if you look in the lower right hand corner of the page, do you see what we call a Bates stamp number? And that's like the EFTA on the files, little file codes at the bottom. So at january two thousand one was James Ostrich living at Bent. I think you said Cak circle ? Well he would have had to have been if I had been put it down there . Okay . Was that the apartment that he had rented? No, it's in Royal Palm Beach. The apartment he rented was in Fort Lauderdale . So this could be my apartment that he lived with me . He lived there with me for a short period. I don't know how long he lived there with me And who rented that apartment? Well, Jeffrey paid for the apartment. And it's your position that that is the apartment that Jeffrey paid for and you signed a lease ? Yes, Jeffrey paid for it and I think I had to sign something that said I was going to occupy it. She's one of the lawyers. So it's very hard for me to chronologically give you each person individually . Okay , name the other politically connected and financially powerful people that Galaine Maxwell told you to go have sex with Again, I'm going to tell you they because that's how it went. They instructed me to go to George Nitchell, Governor of New Mexico , Jean Luc Brunel, owner of MC Squared Models . Bill Richardson, wait, hold on Bill Richardson is governor of now I'm going to mess it up. I think Bill Richardson is the governor of New Mexico. George Mitchell is the other politician. Sorry about that. Bill Richardson, another prince that I don't know his name, a guy that owns a hotel, a really large hotel chain. I can't remember which hotel it was. Marvin Minsky, he is the godfather of AI who was from MIT. He is now dead. There was , you know, another foreign president. I can't remember his name. He was Spanish. There was a whole bunch of them that I just, it's hard for me to remember all of them. You know, I was told to do something by these people constantly. Told told to my whole life revolved around just pleasing these people these men and keeping Glaine and Jeffrey happy. Their whole entire lives revolved around sex . Did you ever ask Sharon Churchill to correct anything that was printed under her name concerning your stories to Sharon Churcher? I wasn't given those stories to read before they were printed . After they were printed did you read them? I tried to stay away from them. They were very hard . You have to understand it was a very hard time for me and my husband to have to have this public . We didn't think it was going to be this public be this publicly announced and that big . So we turned off the news and we stopped reading so many things . You did not read the articles published by Sharon Churchill about your stories to share in Churchill . I have read some articles about what Sharon Churchill wrote a. lot And of the stuff that she writes, she takes things from my own mouth and changes them into her own words as journalists do . And I never came back to her and told her to correct anything. What was done was done . There was nothing else I could do . So even if she printed something that were untrue, you didn't ask her to correct it. Correct ? There was things that she printed that really pissed me off, but there was nothing I could do about it.
