We got a seven-round Eagles only mock draft coming your way. Can we nail some of these picks? Will we be on the same page? Have we changed our minds daily? I know I probably have. So we're gonna get to all those picks go on the record here, ZB. Welcome to draft week. How are we doing, my friend? So excited for the show and for draft week. Uh, this is this is awesome. Like, can you feel the buzz? Can you feel the excitement? Like, I am I am so pumped for this week. Uh yeah, last night at the family dinner table, we had to go around what are you excited for for this week? And I'm waiting for my turn and I'm like uh the NFL draft. And my daughter didn't share the same excitement I did, but I can't wait. Wait, is that a is that a like every Sunday night you kind of go over that type thing? It's something I've tried to I go around and I say I I say uh what's what's something you're excited for and what's something you hope to accomplish this week? Wow. Pressure on the Bertman kids. So for me, so I I had a particular metric goal that I'm gonna You're like, I'll start. No. Like, all right, Dad, go ahead. I back cleanup, right? Uh but but um but I had a particular metro goal that I wanted to hit this week and then I and the obvious answer for what I'm excited for is the NFL draft. And the Ringers Philly special podcast. And well, yeah, that goes, that's all part of the draft coverage, right? All right. So ZBJ, we to take people behind the curtains, we just we are gonna make this uh one long episode and we're gonna do this Eagles only mock draft first, and then we're gonna do some Phillies flyers and sixers after. But you know what? We had such a good time talking Phillies, flyers, and sixers, and we went for like an hour with uh Anthony Debundo. We said, let's just make that its own episode. So make sure you check that out in your feed, and now this will be a solo episode as well. Rest of the week, ZB is going to come back Thursday night exciting and break down what the Eagles do in round one of the NFL draft. And then, of course, Brandon Lee Gauton makes his return from the post-game pods for days two and three, Friday night and Saturday night. So we will have every day, every night of the draft covered here. Cliff, I don't think Cliff's sleeping this week. He's doing all these Philly specials. I know he's doing all types of NBA stuff going on. It is a very busy time at the ringer, but a very fun time in the sports calendar, both locally and nationally. A lot going on here. All right, CP. Seven round mock. I will tell you that. I woke up. So my my thing was uh last night. I'm like, you know what? I'm gonna wake up and do my selections. I've got an idea in my head who I'm gonna pick for them, and I had a pick in mine, and I changed it this morning. I changed both my first round and my second round pick, my projections that were in my head. I changed them. I may have, may or may not have added a trade on day three for a veteran player. So I made all kinds of moves here with my seven-round mock draft. Now, there is an AJ Brown report out from ESPN's Adam Schefter. Do we tackle that at the top here, or do we tackle that when maybe potentially one of us has them picking a wide receiver? What does your, you know, ne ws sense tells tell you right now, CP? Yeah, I I don't think there's there's much new there as for as far as what we've kind of been discussing here is that the expectation is that there's a trade that occurs post June 1st. Um I think Can you explain one more time why what about the June 1st thing? Because I do think if you're not you know totally locked in, it gets a little confusing. Yeah. So uh the way the NFL um sour structure works or the the the the the cat hits work here is that they would absorb the entire cat hit if a trade is made before June 1st. So the cat hits basically the the money the guaranteed money remaining on the deal beyond this year, and it'll accelerate to this year when you make the trade. So it they traded AJ Brown in March, they traded him in April, they traded him in May. It's in excess of $40 million dollars to absorb that cap it. If they do the trade post June first , you can split that over two years. So it so it's kind of, you know, it's like an 18, 22 million. I have the I don't have these specific numbers in front of me. I should 'cause I've discussed it so much here. But you you split those over two years. And so there's actually cap savings, but it's just kind of a way it's almost like taking a payment plan, right? You can pay in two parts as opposed to in one. Um and it's not paying additional money , by the way. It's money that's that's already paid that's kind of accelerates to the uh to to the cap when they make the trade. Right. So the reason you can't and and the big key here, I think, is that if you are releasing a player, you can designate it a June post-June first cut. And then you just say, all right, we're releasing now, it's all above board, but we're gonna take that south, that dead cap hit over. two years With a trade, you're not allowed to do that. So even if they've already agreed to terms with the Patriots on an AJ Brown trade and they say, here's the compensation, everyone on board, we're all signed off on it. They can't say, okay, we're doing this trade. It's just a post- June 1st trade. You're not allowed to do that. You're not so even if they were to just sort of kind of announce that or if that were to leak, then maybe you're under investigation. Wait a minute, this is against the rules. You're not allowed to do that. So I at least my read on it from Schefter's report. I'm with you, it aligns. Maybe it's a little firmer from a uh, you know, a national reporter there who's probably talking to both sides where he's basically saying it sounds like that this is uh, you know, the Patriots are expecting AJ Brown to be a part of their team. The Eagles are expecting to trade AJ Brown. It's just all gonna happen post-June 1st. But again, it just can't become official um until that time. That would be against league rules. So I think that's why some of the reporting on it is a little, I don't want to say clunky or confusing, but that's the reason um why it's worded maybe the way it is. Exactly. You you can't wait until June 1st. So you so you're so you're absolutely or you you can't designate something post. You can't designate something post June 1st. So you're absolutely correct there. And the other thing just to add to this is that uh it is today, as we speak on April twentieth is the first day of the offseason program. Now they're not on the field until late May for like formal workout or for formal on field workout. There's no mandatory pro a portion until June tenth or so. So after obviously that June 1st date, but as Mike Garfoel from NFL Network reported that uh AJ Brown's not expected to be there. I wouldn't expect AJ Brown to be there with the expectation that he's going to get traded. So that 's something else uh that you'll see in the news today as well. Okay. So we I I feel like we've been pretty consistent for a while that we think AJ Brown's going to get traded. And I we still think AJ Brown's going to get traded. And if he's not traded, we'll deal with it then and say, oh my gosh, this is a surprise. Uh we were wrong about this. But I think the expectation would be uh by the time we get to June and get to you know post June 1st that a deal's gonna be done and we'll see if the compensation trickles out before then or not , or if there are any changes. All right, before we get to the seven round mock Z bait, I was very excited this morning prepping for the pod , and all of a sudden in my inbox , the broad street pops in. And I said, wait a minute. This is from my friend, Rich Hoffman. And it says, Welcome to the Broad Street Bulletin. And I said, huh? I know he was thinking about bringing the newsletter back, but I didn't know anything was official. And I click on it and it says the newsy is back. So the Rich Hoffman newsletter that has been so good, uh, was previously at PHLY , is now back. He's doing it independently. It is an awesome resource. I resource I've legitimately missed it specifically in the recent weeks, when it's like you got the Sixers, you got the Flyers, you got the Phillies, you got Eagles Draft stuff there's so much going on. I want to be able to go to one place um that will link out to the best stuff out there uh from people covering Philadelphia Sports that will give his own thoughts where I'll just feel like you know what? I haven't missed anything. Maybe I didn't last night, maybe I'm not uh, you know, locked in on a certain team, and it's all in there and it's gonna be smart and it's gonna be funny and it's gonna be an easy read for me. And I said, I am so happy to have this back in my life. So Rich Hoffman, go check that out. I posted it uh on socials, I'll post it on Instagram as well, we'll post it on the Philly special accounts. Um it will not be hard to find. Again, go to Rich Hoffman social media accounts. Sign up for that. I mean it it it is a great deal. I think if you sign up for the year, it's under yeah, it's under I uh fifty dollars for the year. $50 for the year. Under $5 a month. Think of the stuff you spend $5 on. Think of that last oat milk latte. You might have thought. Okay, maybe that, maybe that's me. The oat milk latte. But yeah, think about that. I mean, that's costing you six, seven, six, seven, you're six or seven dollars. You're tipping, now you're getting up to seven or eight dollars. This is under fifty dollars a month. I mean sorry, $50 a year, $5 a month. So give that the big Philly special bump. Now, do you guys hear that noise in the background or not . No. No. ZBC. Okay. Yes. There's some some stuff being done here at the house. And I didn't think. Yeah, I didn't think it was going to conflict with the recording. And I can hear it loud and clear, but as long as you guys can't hear it, then we're good. And if you're a listener, I apologize. But you know what? Sometimes this stuff happens. All right, Z B, we've we've teased them long enough. It is time to get to the seven round mock. And I'm not gonna make you start with your seventh round pick. I'm gonna do what makes you comfortable here, and we're gonna start with the first round pick. Eagles are slated to pick 2 3rd over all. You cannot stray from this. I don't wanna be going on the athletic and saying, oh, ZB said something else. I don't wanna be going on social media and saying, oh, you went on WIP, you went on NBC Sports Philly, he said another player. No, this is the official pred iction. Right here, right now. Z B, what do you got? First round, number 23 overall. Oh, okay. Cliffy Dos. Well done, Cliff. I'm sorry I spoke over it. I didn't realize that was coming. First round, number 23 overall, the Philadelphia Eagles select Taden Proctor, offensive tackle, Alabama. Uh now I this has been kind of my pick throughout the process. I've been talking about this um even going back to November, I did a Reddit uh chat um with the athletic and uh I I said if I had to guess right now, Caden Proctor. And I think the there's a chance Caden Proctor goes earlier, right? I think that's the the you're hearing some buzz that uh maybe Cleveland in a you know trade back scenario. You've heard some buzz with Detroit at 17 as well. So we'll see. But Caden Prague it might require a s a slight trade-up, but he could be there at 23. Dame Bruegler, my outstanding colleague. Um I should say I'm his colleague. He's he's the star , uh, is uh he had Proctor going to the Eagles at 23 as as well. We've discussed him quite a bit, but to me, like the resume jumps off the page as far as 6'7, 352 pounds, only 20 years old, uh, was a first team all-American, former top recruit, uh, has movement skills, the athleticism. He he he jumped 32 and a half inches at 352 pounds. Think about that. Uh, there's concern that maybe he's too big for the scheme. I don't think the Eagles are gonna pick something based on the scheme. Um, there's thought that maybe he profiles best at guard. I think if that's his entry point to the lineup day one or if that's the fallback things don't work out. I don't believe in scouting helmets. You sometimes hear like Evan Neal comparisons because of you know the size and the eventual move of the guard. But uh I I I 'm impressed by what I've seen from Procter. I think he fits the Eagles. I think he fits Howie Roseman. And so I have Caden Proctor to the Eagles at number 23 overall. All right. CB says they stick at 23, and they pick Caden Proctor. So I was thinking about what direction I was going to go in here. Z P, and then we can compare the picks. I was trying to think what do we actually know about Howie Roseman's drafting strategy? You know, last year they pick an off-ball linebacker. I don't think any of us would have thought, oh, they'll spend a first round pick and even try to trade up for an off-ball linebacker. So the positional stuff gets a little tricky. I think when I was zooming out, I thought Howie wants to identify the players that the entire building feels best about. Because in the past, there's been, well, this faction feels good about a player this faction doesn't this fact you know maybe it's the coaching staff likes this player scouting likes this player maybe it's analytics likes this player but the medical staff has questions about it I think he's gotten to a point and this is just you know speculation based on what he's kind of explained. Where he probably has a list where he's like, which of these players have the green check mark from every part of this building that I value, scouting, analytics, medical, coaches, Jeffrey, me, watching the film, every every part of the building feels good about this player. Those are the players I really want to target. Do they have all pro ceilings? And when I have that list in front of me, upside, some sort of consensus within the building, I am going to aggressively try to target those players because yes, it might cost me a day two pick, a day three pick, whatever. But you know what? Our hit rate is going to be better than if I kind of just sit tight and pick someone at 23 who maybe we have questions about. So that was the first thing I thought about. And then I thought this draft has trade up written all over it to me. Because one, Halby Roseman tries to do that most years anyway. And I don't think there's going to be a huge cost this year. Now, there's going to be a cost. I'm not saying teams are just going to give those picks away, but I think it might be a little less than it would be in a typical year. And I think there will be a lot of teams looking to move back in this draft because it's not necessarily a top-heavy draft, and teams are going to want more uh more sh more bites at the apple in the other rounds. So now we have to identify which players could fall to a range where the Eagles would move up? And here's the list. Who I let me ask you. I had four players written down where I said, you know what? These guys could fall to a point where I think Howie Roseman would get aggressive and trade up. Who do you think those four players are on my list or or who which four players would you have uh on your list if you had to guess. Monroe Freeling would be my number one, I would say. He's on that list for me. Caden Proctor, number two. He's on that list for me. I put uh Kenyan Sadiq, number three. Number three. We're on the same page. And then number four. Hmm. I don't think they're gonna trade up for guard. I don't think it's gonna be Keldrick Falk. There's not enough college production there. Uh Uh let's go wide receiver. Let's go Jordan Tyson. Okay . I actually went with the guard and this is okay. This is this is where again we change our minds, or at least I do, week to week, because you had Venga Yoane uh on your list of top 10 potential Eagles targets last week when we did that episode. And I didn't have him on there. And now looking back at that exercise, I think I looked too much at who was going to be available at 23 . And I didn't have this thought that I had this morning in my head that Shield, why do you care that's not how Howie Roseman is drafted in recent years? ZB was right. And so I looked at Joanne and I thought he's going to be a player that the whole building likes. I mean, you know, it's just like all right, uh, the the scouting staff, every everybody's gonna like Venga Yoane. Now, Howie Roseman would have to determine does he want to trade up for a guard or not? But I thought just in terms of players that I think everyone would sign off on, I thought he was one of those players. So those were the four. So then I looked at it and I said, all right, I'm gonna have them trading up for one of these four players. Who's it gonna be? And ultimately, Z B , I landed on Proctor just like you did. So we have a consensus within the Ringers Philly Special Podcasting Community that Kaden Proctor is our official prediction for the Eagles in the first round. So here's how I got there, ZB. I know you've been there for a while. You even said last week you're not changing it. Howie Roseman can say he's drafting for the future. And I I do believe him. I don't think he's gonna, you know, try to fill an immediate need. But I also think if it's close, say between a guy like Proctor and Monroe Freeling and they've got them in the same tier or whatever, I do think the idea of taking a pla yer who can help them compete for a Super Bowl right now is going to be enticing. And so the more I looked at Procter, I thought he theoretically could solve multiple different problems for you. Obviously the player has to be good. You have to hit on the pick. We know that. There's always uncertainty. But I thought number one, could he compete with Tyler Steen as a rookie for the starting guard spot? I think he can do that. He is the guy who has that kind of play strength, that size where he could potentially play guard for you as a rookie. So that's one. Two , Landon Dickerson is such an unknown for this team, both in the short term and the long term, where you hope that he plays well this year, you hope that he stays healthy. You hope that his career extends beyond this year. But there were reti was retirement buzz about him , you know, uh earlier this offseason where you have to look at it and go, well, what happens if Landon Dickerson retires after the season, or what happens if he can't make it through, you know, September or October? Well, now you potentially have a guy in Kaden Proctor, who could play left guard. And now Tyler Steen's playing right guard. He might not be an all-pro, but he'll be competent. So he gives you optionality there at both guard spots. And then the tackle option. Short term, let's say Lane Johnson misses a few games. Let's say Jordan Milata misses a few games. You have an option there. And then of course 2027 and beyond, we don't know Lane Johnson whether he's going to continue playing or not. So it gives you an option there to play right tackle. So when I added up all those things versus some of these other offensive linemen where I had more questions about uh the versatility with them or the development with them, uh I just felt like Caden Proctor at 6'7, 352 with the long arms and a three-year starter in the SEC at left tackle and having, you know, you could just picture Howie Roseman saying there aren't a lot of guys that just, you know, have this profile uh in the draft where he's 21 years old. So he actually should still have plenty of room to improve. And yeah, the film's been a little bit inconsistent, but you know what? He's shown the flashes, he's got the upside to be the best tackle in this draft. And we're gonna develop him the way we do our other players. He's been durable. He started 40 games in three seasons. Um, and we decided it was worth it to be aggressive. Now, this is where you and I differ. I've got them being quite aggressive here, Zipe . Trading all the way up to 16 with the New York Jets to ensure that they get Kaden Proctor. They trade 23 , 114, which is a fourth round pick, and a 20-2 7 third for 16 and 179, which is a fifth round pick. So in this draft, they move up in the first round, they move down from uh the fourth round to the fifth round, and then they're giving up a 20-27 third round pick because you know what the Detroit Lions pick at 17 yeah and they felt like man Caden Proctor seems like he could be a Detroit Lionsy type player and we don't want to get stuck there. We're gonna be aggressive and make a big trade up. What do you think? Yeah, uh I am I am with you there. And the reality is you're if if you want to look at it like you you need to get, you know the, it's not just a player, but like closest to the hole in terms of the pick. You're probably uh more on to this than I am because Howie Roseman's shown that that he's he moves around on on on on draft day. You don't like stick and pick, but Quinyon Mitchell's the only time in like recent years where he's he's done the stuck and pick and he was trying I I think there were times there he he might have been interested in moving up. Um and and so yeah so I I think that's that's part of it. I think Detroit is a team to watch i think proctor would be worth trading up for i think a slight trade up and i think that draft comp makes sense i i think the eagles would be willing to move from the twenty twenty seven draft cupboard because you're expecting compensation in the AJ Brown deal as well. Um so that can make you be perhaps more uh aggressive, especially like with a a third round pick, let's say. And then overall, I I'm I'm I'm with you in the explanation. Something that I've long thought with the draft is lean toward the guys that you have to talk yourself out of, not the guys you have to talk yourself into. There's some prospects where like you're talking yourself into them. If a guy is like it's seems there so many obvious things, but you're talking yourself out of it because I don't know if he fits the scheme or I don't that's that's the concern to me. If there's a guy where you have to kind of rationalize the selection in your head, no, you take a good player with high upside and you trust that it's going to work out. Yeah, I mentioned the scheme stuff last week. And then the more I thought about it, I'm like, Howie Roseman has been around the block. He knows like this could work out. This could not work out . I'm not gonna base my pick on whether this is gonna work out with Sean Mannion and a new offensive line coach because I know full well that there's a possibility that we're um you know making some changes again to the offense and maybe to the whole coaching staff if this season goes sideways and I'm not going to give up the chance at drafting a guy who I think is the you know uh a better player than someone else just uh just uh schematically. So yeah, I can't I kind of came to that real realization a little bit more as I went through this exercise. All right. Kad en Proctor. How do you feel, ZP? I mean, we're we're feeling good if this is the pick. Not that we're going out on a huge limb. There'll be other people who I'm sure have him in their mock, but I think most mocks will have Proctor, Monroe Freeling, or Kenyon Sadiq. Do you agree with that? Most of the people covering the team and even nationally, it feels like those will be probably the three most popular picks. I think you'll probably see more Max Ihanachore in there. Okay if they stay put. Yeah. Uh I think you'll you'll see more of that. And I think I could be wrong here, but I said this on last week's show is here every year, there's no way this guy falls. There's no one they're like, Wait, this guy falls. But somebody has to fall. There can't be 30 guys. None of them are gonna fall. Yeah. Yeah. And so uh I I am with you there. Those are the popular names. Um more so than like a safety, let's say. Very exciting first round pick for Z B and myself. I've I feel what do you think the approval rating would be on that bad boy, C B? I think people would be pretty excited about that pick, right? Do people get excited about offensive line picks? Like that's the same. Yeah, Philadelphia they do. Yeah, I think so. Honestly, I I think and you never know if something's like a vocal minority. There's a lot of Eagles fans, I feel like, who who really want safety. And like they think. Really? I think they'd say Sadiq. I feel like Sadiq is definitely would be the one who everyone would be most excited about. And I understand that. That would be pretty excit ing. But I feel like safety compared to Proctor, I don't know that I would say people would be more excited about it. I think the Philly special listeners, they're an educated bunch. They're that's right. They know ball. I think they'd be excited about this pick. Great to meet many of the Philly special listeners again this weekend. CP I was at a Blue Rocks game. Uh Daughters School had an event there and see many Philly special listeners there. Shout out to Delaware at the uh at the Blue Rocks game. So that was great when people uh are coming up. And then, you know, I met went to meet uh Cliffy to and Debundo. Uh you know, they were tailgating in the parking lot Saturday night, walking through the parking lot , Philly special listeners, stopping us left and right to say they listen to the show. And you know what? I love that because at times I feel like people feel like they're bothering me, especially when I'm with my kids, but I always appreciate it and always love it. And it reinforces that there are real people out there who are nice and thankful and friendly and normal who wanna say hello versus maybe some on, you know, I've kind of cut back on a lot of the online uh interactions and things that I'm looking at online. And it's a great reminder that, you know what, Cliff is right. Go touch grass, meet the real people who support the show, rather than random strangers who might want to yell at you from time to time or criticize you from time to time. So I tell me how to do that. I'm curious how to do that. So well honestly, I went cold turkey. It was like my dad with cigarettes before my oldest sister was born. He's like, Yeah, I can't be smoking cigarettes with a with uh uh we're gonna be having uh a kid soon. He went cold turkey in the 70s, you know, he moved to this country. He's hanging out in New York City with his friends. You know, we got some old pictures, them holding the cigarettes. And then all of a sudden, one day, he said, you know what? I'm done. And so I kind of I I did something now I did I had to post about Rich Hoffman's newsletter because I was just too excited and I wanted to throw the Philly special bump behind that, which by the way, I don't see comments right now on the newsletter, Broad Street Bulletin. I'll have to talk to Rich whether that's a thing or not, because I want to have some way for the Philly special bump to get to him. But yeah, if someone can post that on our Reddit page, share it with your friends, buy it for people. You know what I'm saying? What a great gift I idea. I'm'm gonna come up with something, Z B, with the mailbag where you know I'm gonna buy some of the some subscriptions uh for people. But let me give some more thought about how to do that. But yeah, I just went uh, you know, I I posted on that. But other than that, I'm good. Yeah. My mind has felt more free, more calm. Now I understand what you know they're saying about kind of the mental health and social media and some of the issues that come along. But don't worry. You're still getting the videos on Instagram. You know, those aren't going anywhere. And Cliff, I think we're, I think I'm nine away from having them do that smoothie video. I think Ringer's Philly special last I checked was like one away. So we're about to meet those thresholds um that we mentioned there. And then you get to see, I know ZB's excited for this. He said he's excited about the draft. He's more excited to see what does she put in his morning smoothie every single day for like the last decade plus there. You know, how is he maintaining that that uh youthful glow on the face? You know, what is the key to that? So don't worry, the secrets are coming your way very soon. I was gonna say the thing that keeps him regular, but I didn't make you feel, you know, uncomfortable, Z B. So all right. I won't I won't go that far. It's like the Kennedy assassination, Bigfoot, and then what Sheel puts in his uh Yeah. Those are like the three things that I'm eager to find out the secrets of. There you go. All right, let's take a break. We come back. We got a lot more picks to get to. That was only round one. We'll do the rest when we come back . The Ringers Philly Special is brought to you by FanDuel. The rules for this were you're allowed to trade but you have to maintain the sam e number of picks that the Eagles have. So you can't be like, oh, I trade my first for you know five picks on day three just because you want a bunch of bites at the apple. That's cheating. So that's why I have a little, I had a little pick swap in my trade, and then I had a 20-27 third being traded. But the Eagles have the 54th overall pick. They're in the second round, Z B. We both had them taking Caden Proctor in the first. And with the second round pick, they select two . Number fifty-four overall. I don't know if we're doing a chime or not. Sorry. I don't think so. That was just a first round. All right. Number 54 overall. There we go. The Philadelphia Eagles select Chris Bell, wide receiver, Louisville . Oh no, we got the same picks for our first two picks. I thought for sure you were gonna go deny Dennis Sutton. And I said I don't want to go with the same pick as Z B, so I went with Chris. Bell I changed it this morning, Z B, but I can't change back. These are the official picks on my Google Doc. How are we this aligned? Oh that's probably a good sign. Great line. As I said, I want to buy Kapati's stock. So uh it's gone well. Uh let me give the Chris Bell spiel here. Like I I've talked about him in previous shows about why I I like him as a prospect. But from an Eagles perspective, you look at some of their best second round picks that they've made uh under Howie Roseman. They've been on fire in the second round. They've they've benefited from the injury discount. Landon Dickerson in 2021 probably would have been a first-round pick without the injury. Cooper the Jean in 2024, the reason he fell in the draft is he was injured in the pre-draft process, right? There wasn't kind of the standardized testing score on him. Um, and Chris Bell was someone who in look, reasonable minds can disagree, but I feel from like a playing perspective and from a profile perspective was on the trajectory to be a first round pick before tearing his ACL in November. Okay. Uh first off the frame 6'2 222. When you see him, when you watch him, you would think AJ Brown . I've made the argument with someone who didn't think very highly of Chris Bell or as high as I did, uh, put on the Miami game. I thought he was the best player on the field. He had nine catches, 136 yards against Miami. Only two players in the country, including Jeremiah Smith, had a better game against the Hurricanes than Chris Bell did. Um he is uh he he was really productive. 72 catches, nine seventy, but he the the yards after the catch is something that you see. Like he's really good in the open field , he works in the middle of the field. That's not something the Eagles do well, but something that uh they might want to do well going forward. Uh, I I I think that that from a playing perspective, um, it just makes a lot of sense, and I think you're you're getting the injury discount here. I don't think it's a red shirt year for him. I know every position's different. The injury occurred in November. This wasn't a January injury. Landon Dickerson's injury occurred in December. He was on the field in week two. Different position, but uh maybe you won't have him during training camp, but I think by mid-season you can expect Chris Bell in long term. Um, he's one of the receivers who I just I been covering the Eagles for going on to 15 years, you start to kind of see the way they think. I think this is the kind of player who would fit the way they think at the position. Now I will say, even though he would be back, I do think that is a tall task to ask a wide receiver who might not be getting the full offseason with the team as a rookie to come in and play really well coming off the injury. It doesn't mean it's impossible. It means he could do it, but um I do think that's you you certainly have to bake that in a little bit about what are you getting immediately with Chris Bell, but you're not drafting for the first half of 2026. You know, you you've added some players at wide receiver for the reason that, hey, let's set the floor and then it would be a great out come if he's picking stuff up right away. He's really smart. And now all of a sudden you have this addition to your football team, like you said, at some point during the 20 uh 26 season. So yeah, I looked at it. I had denied Dennis Sutton first for Penn State Edge uh as my pick here . And then I looked at it and I said, Hmm, are they really gonna go with a defensive player here if, there's a wide receiver who they really like. So you laid out the case for him. Uh 72 catches for 9 70, 17 yards and six TDs in 11 games last year. 2024 was a really a big play guy every seventeen yards per reception there. Uh has size, kind of complements what you have there in Devontae Smith. They had him in, I believe, for the predraft visit because he did have 16 penalties in three seas ons. Uh, and there's some questions. He's a little emotional player, according to Dane Brugler. We'll let the QB know when he's unhappy. So I'm sure they were trying to get a gauge on that kind of thing. But I I'm with you. I think they would uh bet on the talent here. I think they would love to add a wide receiver in the first couple rounds to add to the group that they already have and kind of say, all right, we can't replace AJ Brown with one guy, but let's give ourselves kind of a bunch of different options here. And I also landed on Chris Bell, wide receiver Louisville, in the second round. This has never happened to us before, ZB. I mean, we've done mocks or seven round mocks together uh before. I feel like it's almost always different. And I tried to be different here, but in doing so, I ended up picking the same player. ZP picked. All right. We go to round three. Friday night. The sixty-eighth overall pick. Who does Z B have the Eagles taking So perhaps based on what you just said, you'll find this unrealistic, but I have the Eagles going deny Dennis Sutton, Edge Rusher, Penn State. Okay, listen. There's gonna be some conspiracy theories. This ain't my first Eagle 7-round mock. And one trick you can do is if you feel like you know, I'm at 54, I'm debating between these two players. I real feel really strongly that they're gonna take one of them. Well, what if I just make the other one the later pick? And then you know what? Are people really gonna notice that I didn't have him at 54? Uh, if they take, you know, if they take him at 54, I can say, oh, I still had him in my mock, even though I had him at 68. The people want to know, is this uh above board or is this some mock draft hij inks to make yourself look good years down the road when these are revisited. No hijinks involved here. Uh I I my the look good down the road thing . The look good down the road thing was was beaten out of me in submission by uh our friend Bo Wolf when I had the Eagles taking Nolan Smith in the first round and they ended up taking with the second first round pick and not the first first round pick and then I was uh I was told that that winning talent. So I'm not I'm not seeking credit. What I'm just trying to do is pair the the so he's he's the number 60 overall player on Dane Brugler's board. I think the number 60 overall player going number 68 overall is not hijinks. I I think that's that's that's within reasonable frame, especially when you consider the volume of edge rushers who are going in this range here. Edge rushers, it's it's a matter of taste. Now, admittedly, in Dane's seven round mock and France seven round mock, he was going in the second round okay I think fifty four and fifty two in their seven round yeah so you're looking at sixty eight so you're looking at fourteen and sixteen picks different here. We'll see. Um, but I I don't think this is I mean I mean last year I had the Eagles taking Drew McCuba in the fifth round. They took him in the second round. Um I think yeah. Yeah, yeah. Uh so uh in deny Dennis Sutton, I got the name correct. I was banging the myself, like I was disappointed myself when I got the name wrong last show. Um 6'6, 256, 39.5 inch vert, 131 inch broad, uh eight and a half sacks both of the past two years. He's dropped in the coverage. Um, I don't think he's like a guy who steps in the top of the depth chart for you, but he he has size that's a little different than what the Eagles have in that edge rushing room, kind of fits the Jalen Phillips role in the size. You put him in a group with Nolan Smith, with JLX Hunt, with Arnold Epiketty. And this this makes sense here. So deny Dennis Sutton third round number sixty eight overall. I think that Ebicetti episode we did, Z B, is still doing numbers on the internet. When you came in ha, lead him with the Ebicetti take. I mean, that is that way. We were? They were the buzz from you talk about buzz for the draft. Yeah. I mean, that's unmatched compared to that bad boy. I was looking at old mock drafts of mine. I had him going to the Eagles in the second round that year. There you go. You've been on the Eb Academy trained for a long time . There you go. All right. Um, yeah, we talked about deny Dennis Sutton uh during our episode last week. I'm with you. Looks like an Eaglesy type player to me. It's just a matter of where does he get taken? What are their other options? But um he seemed like someone who absolutely would interest them given the profile, given the position, given the upside, given the needs on the roster, all those things. So I think that is a good pick for the Eagles. And maybe he'll last. I'm not going to go crazy and be like, there's no way he'll get to 68, because you're right. I have no idea. Like absolutely know guys drop, uh guys go earlier than expected. Now if, he does go 54, then we're definitely going to have to have a long conversation about whether you get credit for that or not. But you know what? We'll cross that bridge when we come to it. ZB. All right. I've got the Eagles. Round three, pick 68 AJ Halsey, the safety from LSU. Here's my thing. I feel like they give Vic Fiangio one pick every year. You know? I love that. What a it is a great sound. Uh, I feel like they give the Eagle, they give Vic Fangio one pick every year, you know, Jalex Hunt. Um, I guess they get in more than one pick if you look at some of the defensive players they've added on the roster, but I feel like in a year like this, where maybe we expect them to go a little more offense heavy, they're gonna say, All right, Fick, you know, first two days, we can get you one guy, give us your list, you know, top five guys you really want. And maybe A J Halsey is on that uh is on that list for Vic Finjo. Six foot, two fifteen, started 43 games, first at New Mexico, then Houston, then LSU, 22 years old, great zone awareness, let us lsu in tackles per game last season, 10 career interceptions. Uh, Dane had the note, zero penalties on 700 plus defensive snaps last year, which I really liked. And so I thought, you know what, this looks like a player I think that Vic Fangio would like quite a bit. So I've got them taking the safety. AJ Halsey, they hope that he could kind of pull a Drew McCuba, come in and start right away, but even if he can't uh give you some depth there and can play for you down the road. What is Cliff laughing at? What's what what's Cliff got going on over there? Is that just you know, some I'm in a I'm a you know at the ringer we wear multiple hats here, so on the phone. Yeah, okay. Talking to our guy how we're back. He's like in the jersey. So as he's like in the jersey, he's talking about how he used to play NHL and we about to talk some NBA. Oh okay. All right. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So I like that. Yeah, Cliffy too, Z B. He's basically he's doing two jobs at once right now. Yeah. That that is impressive. A ringer NBA call two two jobs at once costs for double the salary, right? I listen. I know that's right. Listen, you you give tell let me know where I can sign off on that for you, Cliff, and uh I'm on a board there. So all right. So I just want the listeners to know though, regarding uh the because look, I if if Dennis Sutton goes in the second round and they Oh I thought this was gonna be about Cliff's salary. Oh no Cliff Salut and I Dennis Sutton. I am I am with I am with you on double Cliff salary. I don't have any control over that though. I I that's one or stay in your lane, right? You know get your steps, mind your business. I'm not ruffling any feathers on the on on that, but I do agree Cliff deserves a higher salary. Um AJ Halsey is higher on consensus big boards than denied Dennis Sutton. So I I I I actually think that now. Okay, hold on. So no, they are Mox Z B. I'm looking at trusted mocks from trusted sources here . And all right. All right, ZB has him going 51. Dane had him going 82nd. So that's my rule of thumb between those two who I think do a great job of the streets between Fran and Dane. Okay. Fran and Dane. If one of them has them still available at the time I'm picking, then I feel like it's fair game. I think big board is probably different than the mop, you know. Because the big board positional value is taken less into account, I feel like, than the mocks. Wow, tried to turn it on me. No, no, no. You know, and all of a sudden he's saying you aren't pulling hij inks. No, I'm just it was looking It was a preemptive strike. It was a preemptive strike. Because I fear that the rest of my draft you're going to be like, that guy's not going to be available there. That guy's not going to be available. I mean once you get to day three. It's like . So here you go. So my second third round pick here. Ninety eight overall. Ninety-eight overall. Um I mando Mendoza . Uh Ninety eight overall. I have the Eagles going . Jalen Kilgore, Safety South Carolina. Okay . Uh and Jalen Kilgore is someone who I believe I talked about on a on a on a previous show. Uh the Eagles had him in for a visit. He is uh the the question here is he wasn't really a safety in college, right? He he was a nickel in college. So you're asking him to play a different role. Can he be a full-time deep safety? But man, you watch him play, you know, 6'1, 210, 4'4, 40, a do-it-all player, eight interceptions, 29 passes defended in in in three seasons, was like all over the field. I think he's the kind of guy who uh I I I think he'd be an interesting bet to put next to Makuba. He lacks he lacks the true safety experience. And I think that that there are kind of questions where does he fit in the NFL is is he a nickel? But if he can lot if he can play safety, I think this is another pick that makes a lot of sense for the Eagles. All right. So I had safety at 68. ZB goes DB, Jalen Kilgore at 98. So it feels like there's a decent chance they go defensive back at some point there on day two. All right. At 98, ZB , I've got the Eagles going. Justin Joee Le tight end NC State. We haven't gotten them a tight end yet. I think they would like to add a tight end, first two days of the draft. We mentioned him again last week, 6'3, 241, began his career at UConn , transferred to NC State, 49 catches for 489 yards and seven touchdowns last year. Was a two-year starter, competes as a blocker, has added a lot of weight from when he was a wide receiver recruit, maybe a poor man's Kenyan Sadiq there in the third round, Justin Jolie from NC State. All right, Z P . We are going to the to day three. It is for the real sicklos out there. We're sitting there on just a Saturday afternoon. Like, let me watch four rounds of the NFL draft. Eagles have now the Eagles have the 1 14th overall pick. Now I had them moving out of this pick. So I'm not making a pick here, Z B, but you've got them pick one fourteen in the fourth round. Who do you got? Staying on the tight end train here. Tight end. Oscar Delp from Georgia. And look, the criticism for this pick here is you're taking a guy who really doesn't have a lot of college production. A matter of fact, uh the most catches he had was before he was like the full time starter when Brock Ballers was there. But uh the past two years he hasn't had more than twenty one catches in a season. He his best year was twenty four catches , uh, when he in a in his sophomore year. But if you're thinking a down the line pick, six five, two forty-five, he didn't run at the combine, run at his pro day, four, four, nine. He can block, he can do a little bit of everything. As my colleague, uh Dame or as I'm colleagues of him, Dame Brugler said, that this guy has a chance of being You can call him your colleagues, C B. Has a chance of being a better pro than college player. And and so I I think if there was obviously if there was more production, I think this is a clear like day two player. I think the lack of production is the big question mark here. Uh they have Dallas Goddard for this year, so you're thinking can, he be an eventual starter for you in 2027? And I think there are a lot of um tools to bet on here. So Oscar Delp in the fourth round. All right. So that's your fifth the fifth pick you've made, correct? Yes.. All right So the five picks you made were aligned, and I've only made four. On the four picks I've made, we're aligned with the exact positions. You know, we've got offensive line, we've got defensive back , we've got tight end, and we've got wide receiver. And then you added uh the edge in deny Dennis Sutton with the extra pick there that I don't have. So you know, it's a matter of where do they take these guys, but I think we're aligned on what positions they're going to prioritize here early in the draft. Now, Z B, did you get any follow-up questions maybe from the brothers, your wife on the where did Z B apply to college question from last year 'cause that's been making the rounds uh in some of my conversation. Yeah, I got some group chats about it. Okay. And what were their text or group texts about it? Ask me why I'm being so cryptic. And I will explain. Is this so this is a message that I sent, I sent in one of my group texts, and I will I will respond. I said, didn't want to make it a thing, just always turned off by the guy who's like, that was my safety school or I got in there and didn't go. As like, you know, when someone's like, uh, oh, I was thinking of going there, I got in and I I I I just think that's like a pompous attitude to take. So you, you know, you um I applied to a school that I wanted to go to, I got in, that's where I went, and I don't think like, you know, the other girls you asked out at the bar matter either, right? And so I I think that that uh 's kind of the way i'm framing it yeah you are one of a guy it was a very simple question where did you apply for college. No one said you're gonna make Syracuse look bad or another school look bad. I applied here. I got I we we never had to say safety school. The only question was where did you apply for college? But you know what? If that is the full explanation, and to be clear, I'm still a little skeptical. No, that's the full explanation. That's the full explanation. Yeah, Rich Bobby thinks that I I um uh that I applied to when I have league school. My my my brother went to Penn. I would have loved to go to Penn. I don't know if I would have gotten into Penn, number one, but number two, my my focus, if I'm being honest, was like uh you know, top journals and programs, for instance. And um Okay. And not to say Penn doesn't have a good journal. Well they had a place called the I believe it was called that Edinburgh School of Communications, which is now called something else. I believe it's a big thing. They didn't fit in this category here. But I was interested in schools of big athletic programs because I wanted to cover like the the big athletic programs. So that that was something that I that I thought a lot about in the process as well. Okay, so you told us Lehi, you told us Sarah , and I think you told us Maryland. And I said another one that you wouldn't name. Are you willing to name that one or not, CP? Or you just want me to let it go and stop putting you on the spot for reasons unbeknownst to me. Because I will I will stop. I won't keep bringing it up. Uh you know, but it's up to you, whether you want to come clean, just be finished with this once and for all, whatever that other school was that you are unwilling to name, if you want to name it now you can otherwise I'll let it go and we'll let the internet do their own research . Um oh my gosh . Well one of 'em. Well there's more. Okay, so you won't name all of them. All right. Well, uh Penn State . Penn State. Oh, okay. All right. My wife went there, you went there. Yeah. Yeah. So what's the b they got you in a text bug. They would have loved to have you in a text. That's where I went. I was a I was thrilled I went there. Got the I didn't I wish I went to school with both with with An Anththony.ony Debundo did not. I was older than him. But so there there's still a mystery school out there. We don't know why Z B is keeping a secret. We don't know why he kept pennies . Secret. But you know what? I'm gonna let it go. If any of you have follow-ups, uh those close to him, bringerphilly at gmail.com. I'm not saying we're totally gonna let it go. If there's new information that uh that that comes to the surface there via email that is confirmed from a reliable source maybe we'll get to it but I won't keep badgering sleeve about it. Cliff is right. There still is an Annenberg school there, Cliff. I don't think it's a school of communications anymore. I walked by there recently , and I think it's an Annenberg School of uh of something else. But when I was in high school, it was called the Annenberg School of Communications. All right, pick 13 7. B. Pick 137. Yeah, who do you got? From Boston College offensive lineman Jude Bower. Oh my God. We are pathetic. We have no creativity. Either we nailed this or we are pathetic, ZB, because we have three of the same picks. Jude Valerie offensive linemen from Boston College. Yeah, so 6'5, 314. Vertical jump puts him to the 96th percentile, broad jump in the 95th percentile. So good athlete here. Uh thought is that maybe he might have to move inside to play guard. Doesn't have the longest arms, sub 34 inch arms, and sometimes you hear 34 is like a threshold. Um but uh yeah I mean he was he was a solid player at Boston College. Eagles showed interest in him. That's the reason why we probably both have him on here. I I think the Eagles are going to really push offensive line. I'd like the you know, if you can't play if if you can't be a swing tackle, that's good. If you have to move him inside, that makes sense as as well. But just is very Eagles League profile . Yeah, I felt so as well. And like you said, they had him in for a visit. So of course we, you know , it doesn't mean they're gonna pick all the players who came in for visits. I I think last year I don't that any of the players that came in for a visit, I don't know that they drafted any of them in previously. They had jihad cambul and they just wasn't a they didn't publicize. We didn't know. Okay, gotcha. But previous years, there's actually been, you know, like three people, oh, you know, from this list of 30. So it's not a bad uh strategy to at least look at those things. And I was with you. I had experience at tackle. Maybe he can play guard, talented, didn't start playing football until sophomore year of high school. I thought he sounded like a guy who might make sense from a developmental, versatile, has starter upside perspective. And again, I just think the Dickerson thing, you know, the the uncertainty around some of these offensive linemen, Dickerson, Lane Johnson, Cam Jurgens, it's just like a big deal that we're really not going to have an answer to until we get through the season where when you're trying to project 2027, you just kind of don't know what you're getting with those players. Are they still gonna be playing football or how what kind of football are they gonna be playing? So I just think this is a draft where you really want to address offensive line if there are players that you like. All right. As I as I framed to someone uh in a in in a text, it's entirely conceivable that the Eagles have three starting spots they must fill going into twenty twenty seven . Those would be are is that Jergens the third one? No, no, no. Steen. Steen the Steen's the last year of his deal. We'll see what happened. See I didn't realize that. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Steen. And then if J so you could I mean potentially I guess you could have four, but yeah, three doesn't seem like much of a stretch at all. Yeah. So that's that's why like and I and you know, I I imagine people are gonna say, well, they drafted offensive line heavy, led they took three guys on day three that to me is like you're you're throwing darts you're throwing darts at that point you're hoping one you know one when they might hit but uh you certainly don't know that so I think taking a lot of uh taking a lot of swings at it and hoping you go into 2027 with an O line that you like. Um and you can just hear how we rose been talking about it when we've won the Super Bowl, how our offensive lines have been strong, when we've had down years, our offensive lines have been injured. This is, you know, the Philadelphia Eagles aren't gonna change. This is how we build. It's been, you know, we've been doing it this way for ever since Jeffrey became the owner, whatever. So you can just hear the narrative uh if they go O-line heavy in this draft. All right . I think I have a pick now that you don't have, ZP. Okay. 178 rounds? No, I have 178. I didn't make any trades. Okay, but you don't have 179. I don't have 179. I'm 178. So I traded for 179. All right, so 178. Go ahead. Fifth round 178. What do you got for the Eagles? Do you want to do yours first in case we have the same one? We don't have the same one. Okay. I've got something a little spicy here. Okay. Fifth round, 178. I had Eagles taking Caleb Proctor, defensive tackle, Southeastern Louisiana. And this is this is what I'm going to tell you guys. Okay, Moro Ojimo entering the last year of his deal. I don't expect Moro Ojimo to return to the Eagles after that unless they were to trade Jalen Carter. Okay . Listen to this comparison here. Caleb Proctor, 6'2, 291, 33 inch arms, 479, 40, 33 inch vert, 113 in ch broad. Moral Ojimo coming out, 6'3, 291, 34.5 inch yarns, 504 second uh a 40 yard dash, 33 inch vertical leap, 112 inch broad. So uh near you know so a one inch apart in terms of height, same weight, okay. Um almost the same, you know, a one inch apart on the broad jump, same vertical leap, uh comp arable um, you know, playing style too. Caleb Proctor had nine sacks, albeit at a small school. But I think this is a template here is that now Moral Ojima's like the best, best, best case scenario outcome. But year one, you're kind of behind the scenes, depth player learning. Year two, you step into a little bigger role, and by year three, maybe you're you're you know penetrating the quarterback. So I I think that is uh that's why I have Caleb Proctor here for the Eagles, number 178. All right, Caleb Proctor at 178 says Z B. All right. Eagles are up at 17 8. You know, it's day three. Draft's a little sleepy. Maybe some people are watching NBA playoffs, hockey playoffs, not everyone's tuned in. And all of a sudden, the story of day three. The Eagles are trad ing this pick . Okay . The Eagles are trading this pick along with Andy Dalton to the Indianapolis Colts for Anthony Richardson. I like it. They're bringing in a developmental quarterback. He's actually cheaper than Dalton. He's on the final year of his rookie deal. They get him in the building for the QB factory. They see how he looks in practice for a year. Maybe he's a QB sneak option in short yardage, but really this is just about adding to the QB factory Z B Anthony Richardson as an Eagle. What do you think? I really like it. Now I would like it more in conjunction with the Tanner McKee trade. Maybe you have that uh on your list as as well. I I don't think they're gonna just gonna cut Andy Andy Dalton. So I I think that um you're not gonna have four quarterbacks on the team. So I I really I'm sor.ry Now I don't even know if you're allowed to get a flipping dog . Yeah, you're flipping him. He's like a house. Yeah. You're flipping. Sorry, did you say that? Yeah. I apologize. I tried to remedy it. I'm like, all right, why don't they just send Dalton with and I can see the Colts being like, yeah, we'll take Dalton. We need some quarterback depth with Daniel Jones' injury. All right, I'm sorry I missed I was so focused on bringing in Richardson. Um yeah, I look , I can I can absolutely get behind that. And I I think that uh he's still so young. Wasn't he 20 when he was drafted? Yeah. And so yeah, so I m makes a lot of sense to me. All right. Exciting. Day three story. All right, we got two more picks here to finish with ZB . Fifth round, 179. I don't think we're gonna have the same player here. Who do you got ? I don't have a 179. Oh, I have 179. Yeah, I trade. Because I made the first round trade. All right. So I swapped four for five, and I've got them taking Wesley Williams edge out of Duke. 6'4, 256, started for two and a half years , team high, 46 pressures last year, 29 tackles for loss, five punts or field goals or PATs blocked. Dane Bruegler called him an unselfish, energetic edge defender. Now, ZB, what is the connection? I can't remember where I saw this. There's some Howie Roseman family connection to Duke, right? Very close. Yeah. So um this is something that I uh so I I don't feel uncomfortable saying this because I think Wesley Williams actually talked about this at the Combine. Um so uh yeah this is um uh Jake Roseman, Howie's son um is uh he he goes to uh he he he works with Duke's football program. Um he goes Duke works with food and I believe as as Wesley Williams said, works with the defensive linemen. Um, so it's it's uh the Eagles now now Duke has like four D-linemen who are probably gonna be in in camps this summer. Um so the so the Eagles have good intel on him. And and uh Wesley Williams spoke glowingly about uh Howie's son. Um I hate saying like Howie's son, you know, he has a name, Jake, but never you know, he he's not like publicly, he's he's not like a full-time coach or anything, but obviously works with the football program there. Uh and so uh the Eagles should have good intel on Duke's program. All right. There you go. So I knew there was I knew there was a connection with the man, that makes me feel old because I remember just like an owner's meeting where, you know, saw how he and his family, like we were in the security line at the airport at the time and like the kids were young. And then I'm like, wait a minute, his son is now in college at Duke working with the football program. But now that I'm doing the math in my head, yeah, I guess that would have been a long time ago. All right. So that was my fifth round pick. That was a part of that pick swap with the Eagles trading up for Kaden Proctor in the first round. All right. So is this your last pick, ZB? This is my last pick, 197. And I wish I had more because before they made the Dante and Wicks trade, I had some other, you know, I had another guy in here, right? I think we might have the same one for this too. Let's see. Okay. Did you read my m did you read on the athletic today? So do you know what I mean? No, I haven't I I don't I don't read it until uh after we've done the exercise. Yeah. Okay . Uh Isaiah World. Oensffive tackle Oregon. All right. All right. I I the guy you have I might be able to you were decided deciding between the two. Yeah. Go ahead. Tell us about Isaiah World. Isaiah World uh is he tore his AC L in the playoffs, if you if you recall. So that's in January. So you're probably looking at a redshirt year, which is fine. I think the Eagles would they wouldn't mind a redshirt offensive tackle. They did that with Cameron Williams last year. I think not there that wasn't an injury when they drafted him. I think they kind of had to, I don't know, say create an injury, but you know, put him on the IR with something. But Isaiah Worlds, 6'6, 320, uh, 3, 34.5 inch arms, would have been drafted h igher if not for this injury. Uh this is the range that now Fran has him going earlier. Dean has him going in the sixth round. Uh and so that's kind of why I I I went with him here. So it's the third offensive lineman that I have the Eagles going with, but not someone you have designs on to play in 2026. All right. Isaiah World, third offensive lineman for the Eagles. I went a different direction, ZB. Can I guess? Yeah, please. I am gonna guess you went with and I'm gonna mispronounce the name, Umi Bernard. I did not. Okay. I went with Okay . Well why don't you tell us who that is? You know, who is um in Bernard ? And why did you think I was gonna guess him? Why were you so confident that at one ninety seven I was gonna go Umi Bernard TV. He's it's like taking Jordan Myelata. All right. Okay. This is someone, uh Bruce Feldman did a great piece on him. Not a f he's with he's in the he's from Nigeria. He's in the international uh player pathway program . He's like, you know, 300 three pounds right now, 4'6, 340. He's a defensive tackle, has this uh uh jumps out of the gym. Um but you know you're teaching him how to play the position. You're teaching him how to play football. Uh the Eagles uh they they they have um I don't want to say rights. I don't know if that's that's that's that's a term partnership with uh and I don't want to put Africa all the all the all together but with Ghana um for the purpose of spreading football in Africa. And I think like, you know, like really trying to um promote football in Africa so the the partnerships with Ghana but their their focus is uh like spreading football on that continent and um you, know B,ernard is is part of you know the international player pathway program, same thing that uh Jordan Mayalata came overseas with. All right. Umi Bernard. I actually have them taking Bauer Sharp, tight end LSU, 6'5, 249, started career at Southeast Louisiana as a quarterback, moved to tight end, transferred to Oklahoma, then LSU. Bruegler called him an energetic competitor, a scout said, there's some insanity to the way he plays. Violent blocker, maybe just needs more reps at it. Maybe Johnny Munt takes him under his wing and then bam sharp says I'm stealing your roster spot in August. So Bauer Sharp. So they take another tight end, maybe complements uh the tight end I had them taken earlier in Justin Joe Lee, who would be more of a pass catching threat. So my final Eagles, seven round mock. Here it is. First round. They trade up to 16 with the New York Jets and they take Caden Proctor, offensive lineman, Alabama. Second round, Chris Bell, wide receiver, Louisville. Third round, AJ Halsey, safety, LSU. Third round, Justin Jol ie, tight end, NC State. Fourth round, Jude, Bowery, offensive lineman, Boston College. Fifth round, they package pick 178 and Andy Dalton to the Colts, and they bring in Anthony Richardson. The quarterback factory gets a little juice with this move on Saturday. Round five, one seventy-nine. Wesley Williams Edge Duke and finally sixth round Bauer Sharp tight end LSU. That is my Eagles. Only seven round mock ZB. Give me your full full picks there. First round, Caden Proctor. Second round, Chris Bell, third round deny Dennis Sutton. Third round, Jalen Kilgore, fourth round Oscar Delp. Fourth round Jude Bowery. Fifth round C,aleb Proctor, sixth round, Isaiah World. So you had them taking two players named Proctor. K Proctor. Two players named spelled K Proctor. K-A Proctor. Right. So very close. Um I'm curious how they will do the jerseys. All right. So we have three picks that are the same, C B. Out of those three, how many do you think we are going to get correct? Just those three. Caden Proctor, Chris Bell, and Jude Bowery. The Eagles end up with how many of those players? One. One. Okay. And between our picks combined, how many do you think we will nail here on the official Ringers Philly special Eagles only seven round mock? If we both have the same guy, does that count as two or does that count as one? No, that counts as one. Total guys, one of us had, one of us predicted So it's harder because we had three that were the same. Yeah, we should have spread it out. But two . Two. Okay. So if they get three or more , if we get three or more combined correct, ZB tells us all of the schools he applied to for college. Do we have a deal, Z B? Sure. Three or more. Sure. Sure. On the record. Yeah, it's not that exciting. It's not that exciting. Well, now it's very exciting. Okay. So all right. If between us, if we get three or more picks correct, then C B has the big reveal some point next week. There you go. All right. Zeban closing words. Yeah. So before the Duntavian Wicks trade, when I was out lining this, um, I was paying close attention to the Washington cornerbacks, uh Takario Davis and Efezian's um uh prysok. I hope I pronounced that correctly. Uh so I had Prysok in the fifth round to the Eagles uh before they traded that pick away for Wick. So So um I you know, just because I I imagine some feedback and I already got some feedback on this that I don't have them going corner uh in when I say feedback on this, this is already up on on the on the athletic and I heard how the how don't you have them going corner? U h I think that um that's not like a a short term need for them, but I I think if the right corner's there round three and both those Washington corners are very um comparable to Rob Reek Wollen. So they can kind of be Reek Wollen under studies. Malik Muhammad from Texas, France said that's a fangio guy. So I thought about having him in my mock if they do go corner. Maybe keep an eye on him day two. All right, ZB's got this all covered at the athletic. Check out all of his work this entire week. And then he will be back with me late night. If you thought he was loopy today, wait till late night Thursday, when we are breaking down whoever the Eagles took in the first round of the NFL draft. All right. Thank you to ZB. Thank you to Cliffey, too, who it's, I mean, it's only 12:30 on a Monday, and the guy's like put in a week's worth of work already. So he's gonna get these pods up for us. Very busy time in this sports world. Go flyers, go sixers, go Phillies, and we will see you probably. If not, if anything happens before then. Thursday night after the draft. I'm Sheel Capadia.
