Interviews on the show. Mm-hmm. One with Sol Ruca, one with Charlotte Flair. You may have heard of them. Here's my question for you. Charlotte? debued on the main roster in twenty fifteen. So let's just say d eleven years from now. Will Sol Ruca be bigger, a bigger deal than Charlotte Flair is now? No. And that's all with all due respect to Sol Ruga. You know what I mean? Like Sol Ruka has a one of the brightest futures you could have for somebody in WWE. But off the strength of the rib, I think We just have to acknowledge like Charlotte Flair's longevity already. Which kind of puts her in a in a in a class of her own. And she's a flair. Like that's she's We mentioned it in the interview, you guys will listen to it, you know, when we get a chance to it. But it's very very much a very distinct Charlotte. era of women's wrestling in WWE and a post Charlotte era of wrestling in WWE. And you know, the fact that we got Sol to talk to, uh on this kind of illustrates that a lot, you know? Um And and mind you, somebody who we think is Incredible and awesome. Solar, yeah. Yes. But I mean, come on, son. Talk about one of the greatest I ever do. That's true. Yeah, I was thinking about that. I think it's I I d there was no there's no better way to phrase the question, but I do think it's like even odds that Silarka's like, you know out of the business. that eleven year. You know, I mean has moved on to bigger and better or whatever. Or just like cooler. You know, she's got her like surf shop in Hawaii. She's good, you know? And not for nothing. Like the average woman's wrestling career isn't Terribly long. You know what I mean? Like especially so, you know. Charlotte's career alone is is Entering a level of damn, she's still just as good for this long, you know what I mean? With this many chip brains, like I mean, that's It wasn't. It's really hard to replicate no matter who you are, even if you are a soul. But I mean we're in that. We're in the midst of some pretty long careers right now, right, Charlotte? Obviously all the horse women, you know, have been at it for a long time in compared to other female wrestlers, particularly in WWE. It'll be interesting to see how it sort of ages out. You know? D do you think any of those people will just like hang around like the Undertaker doing WrestleMania matches forever? It's hard to imagine it being Charlotte. Although she's got those flare jeans, she may never walk away. Maybe. Maybe. Uh I hope that Bailey my votes for Bailey. I hope Bailey becomes the women's division undertaker, just coming back once a year to work. And it just everybody goes bonkers for the Bailey to Bailey Bailey to Belly in like you know, WrestleMania fifty one in Taipei or whatever. Um the r the woman's undertaker already? Yeah, well, sure. I mean in terms of like workload, uh and and and fame. But it would I mean it would I yeah, I mean anybody kinda going into that mold even. I mean who's gonna hang around I really think Bailey's the weirdly the choice, although she's you know, there've been rumors about her being ready to to to take off for a while, but it's just so f ca it's harder to imagine And she's got that whole thing with like young wrestlers, you know, like the women's wrestlers program and I can just it's easier to imagine Charlotte and Becky Lynch just sort of moving on. But I don't know. But we'll talk a lot about that. What are we talking about? We have two pay per views and two interviews. It's the two for two episode of the Mast Man Show. Let's start it now. Mask mask Welcome to the Mazman Show with Kaz. How you doing buddy? Doing good, shoes. How about yourself man? Good. Well not two pay per views. We have uh double or nothing and then Saturday Night's Main Event, which is demonstrably not a per view. Unless you're paying for peacock just for that, so Yes, it is. It's view and then pay. Yeah. You watch it and they bill your ass at the end of the month. And you don't even know. Yeah. Well, we got two interviews as mentioned coming up. Please stick around for those before we get to them. Let's just start running through these cards. Oh no, we have big news we gotta talk about first. I hope it's not big news. First thing I saw this morning. The first the the guy that I haven't actually I don't know what he's up to, if he's injured or what, but um Ludwig Kaiser. Uh Who is a du who's a double two time award winner in the Mass Man show won the Ludwig Kaiser Award is named after him for being a good hang. And two the Ludwig Kaiser all stars are uh the the list of people whose fake names I think preclude them from ever being world champion. Although they found a nice work around here. If rumors are we believe. But anyway. Ludwig Kaiser got arrested in Florida yesterday for Getting for assault? Uh it's against a dude just because this is the wrestling world, we have to be clear, this was not a domestic battery situation or anything like that. As far as we know, I mean it's Seems to be pretty certain. Mm-hmm. Um What do you think this means? So I got the I got the details of the arrest report of Ludwig Kaiser. Courtesy of our our good friend Sean Ross Sapp of a Fightful said uh Richard Reap. Uh Reap stated that he was battered by an unknown white male just outside the elevator of the tall floor. Um Reap advised at approximately eighteen hundred. hours he entered the elevator and was followed an unknown white male and an unknown white female. Reef stated that as the elevator ascended, the male and female began acting in the quote, uncontrollably intimate manner, which he described as aggressively kissing. Reap stated that once the elevator reached the tall form, he exited the elevator and told the couple to please have some manners. Reaper advised them immediately after making the statement, the unknown male began attacking him. described the attack as the male punching him multiple times and pushing him to the ground. Reap further stated that Mail made threats of additional violence towards him. Reap advised that he believed the suspect is a resident of the apartment building and stated he was to pursue criminal charges. Uh, he observed a large fresh scratch on the back of Rig's head. Yada yada yada. Um Yeah, so I mean, listen, first thing you said was right off the top, right? Like as soon as you see that. And it sounds fucking awful to say, but you breathe a sigh of relief that it's not a domestic situation. And it's just kind of like, all right. And this is probably the only business we could say this in. Like immediately I was like oh okay, protect the business. All right. Like some dude probably talking some shit and you know Oh yeah. Like it was it was hands and that was called job security back in the 60s, isn't it? That's immediately where my mind went to. And then it wasn't until You know, we see this uh statement where basically like, you know, Ludwig and This lady uh w was was in the elevator getting to it. You know what I mean? Now not Ludwig. Well Ludwig and Well the unknown white male, which turns out to be Ludwig Kaiser, is is in the you know, uh, elevator making out. And um You know? I've I've read some things that he might be uh wrestling under another moniker and if you've been following the story. For quite some time. Like not only is he somebody who fights for honor, but he fights for love. You know what I mean? Yeah. I'm not trying to make light of this situation. You shouldn't go around beating up people just because you're you're hooking up in elevators and stuff like that. Disclaimer over. As a wrestling fan, there's only one or two ways that this could get worse for him, right? I don't think it's gonna get worse than this. One Because if it's not the girl. that he was with. Like if it's not his girlfriend, if that is just some other lady. Problems. All right. Problems. You gotta have your like well, I mean, the the i in Kfabe do Ludwig Kaiser and El Grande Americano have the same girlfriend? I'm not sure if you're gonna if El Grand Well then there's a whole other issue there, because now the the the match takes a whole another twist. But you know, if i if it's his shorty, if it's the girl that he's been with the announcer uh over at Triple A Name escapes me. I'm so sorry. Uh if it's her, I mean, hey. Battery's a crime. Don't do the crimes. Like don't you know attack people. Like I understand that. Well was the keys. Kinda helps the lore a lot. Kinda helps the lore a lot, you know I'm saying. I mean he's definitely like a wrestler of another era of a bygone era. Like you would smack people up if they talked crazy about it. Yeah, I think that Okay, there's a couple of a couple of things here. One and let me dance around this. One and let me just get this out of the way. It would be incredible. If El Grande Americano came out, or s if if somehow they worked this into the gimmick, right? If he was just like, actually and just holding up the mugshot, as you can see, this is Chad Gable's face, not my face Ah that's crazy. Like you doing the Mas there are some Mexican fans out there that solely live and die by Triple A that looked on their Twitter this morning and saw Unmasked El Grande Americano? And legitimately are like this match is ruined now. Like the mask is already. Oh, that's true. Does it so there so there's the work thing. Like none of us can guess how this will affect him in the locker room. My guess is if this is an isolated incident, not a big deal. Um again, who knows? Judging by our interaction with him, it would seem wild if he was just like a crazy violent person, but who knows? Um The bigger issue I think and I'm I'm sure there's information out trickling out about this already though, is is like It's right is visa issues because he is a not an a as far as I know is working on a as a visa to work in the United States. And then also in Mexico. I don't know. I assume that if you get charged with a crime in America, it messes with your visa to go to Mexico. Yeah, and and and with and with Noche Dos Grande is the biggest match of his career, or what I mean, I'm not gonna thread the needle of trying K fabe this with that but such a big match right around the corner. Yeah, man. If he can't make that for some reason or you know, whatever, like that's a c that's a catastrophe. You know, no matter no matter how it if you switch the roles in the elevator incident And You know, and cast Ludwig as the as the the victim. If he even if something like that happened and you couldn't make the trip, like that's a catastrophe, you know? So now according to documents, this happened on April twenty third. So it's Damn near a month ago this happened. And um Yeah. He said Kaiser turns himself in on May twentieth. The warrant had been issued for his arrest and was released after posting a $1,000 bond. All right. So Um Crazy. I mean So I think one thing they're also arguing is that like I I guess they're trying to say he shouldn't be allowed to be able to do that would be awesome if he paid Bond in pesos though, just for games. Oh man. All right. Well now there was some news about like the his availability, right? So okay, right here. Uh P W Insider, they said Ludwig Kaiser filed a motion this morning in Orange County requesting that he receive permission to travel freely. By his arrest. Uh, the motion notes that Kaiser learned of the arrest warrant against him on May nineteenth while he was in Mexico and immediately flew back to Orlando. Turn himself in. Which I just stated. And he has no prior criminal record. It also knows that his job requires him to travel around the United States in order to maintain his employment. Um, so I think that's the only thing is being able to, you know, since he turned himself in on the twentieth. Then he posts his bond, um, even when he posts bond you can't really travel. You know what I'm saying? But I I think it's, you know. Maybe there'll be something, you know, maybe they'll make a exception for him because they could clearly see that he needs to travel for work, but I don't know how hard this this this thing goes, especially I mean, Florida's Florida. I don't know how you know, seriously they treat these type of cases 'cause you know, Florida's damn near its own country in its own right. But um Yeah, that could if he can't make it to Mexico. to have this payoff match that is literally a week from now, a week from Sunday. Yeah. That's It is the biggest match of the bird. This may be this may be the one advantage of TKO. One of the big advantages of TKO. 'Cause I just imagine like Ari Emanuel can call the judge, you know? Just be like or call somebody who has sway over the judge. Or Or somebody in Florida. Or Ludvig Ludwig Kaiser just secretly goes to Mexico and works the match as long as they book him to win. You know, and then when he comes back, the judge will be like, You were clearly in Mexico. He's like, that was not me, sir. I don't know. Clearly not me. I'm not about Mexican man. I don't know what to do. So boom. So what she should do is is legitimately play that up. Clean that up. Have him lose. Like if they It's worse than it is. And he loses and he unmasks. I would have El Grande OG just be like You aren't even supposed to be in this country. Officers Arrest that man and just have him hauled off in cuss with his mask off. I don't think there's any way he we gotta move on. I don't think there's any way he's losing that match, but if they do do that I mean, it would be incredible if they had like a If we had like a El Grande Americano, you could do El Grande Americano versus Dominic Mysterio in like a jailhouse match, since they both have these prison records or like you know criminal records now. Um, anyway, we gotta get to predictions. We got uh we got two shows we wanna talk about here. Double or nothing and also Saturday night's main event. Let's start with double or nothing though, huh? Huh? Start right here in New York City. Uh MJF. Versus Darby Allen. World title on the line, and so is MJ S Hare. Um The hair stipulation is great. It just sort of seemed to come out of nowhere and Darby was like the thing that means more to you than anything else like he's like cutting an eighties promo about his you know, MJF's girlfriend or something. Um But yeah, I mean that I that that bit with Triple H I mean Triple H, with M J F w walking backstage and everybody around him was bald was just fantastic and I it's gonna be great. Okay, so this is an interesting one for me. Number one. As I said last week, as much as I've been loving Darby Allen's range. There's no way you wrestle. Every week or twice a week. Unless the gimmick is it's a short reign, right? I mean he's gonna lose it. His passing out last week last week and all the damage he's done to his body, that's gonna be the reason why. It seems the most obvious thing in the world. But weighing against that is the hair stipulation. Now we all know Tony Khan has a proud tradition of putting up these wild stipulations that that just like make your mouth make your mouth water and then forgetting I mean then not doing anything with them. But still it's like why would you why would MJF go out there talking about putting his hair on the line if he wasn't if the gimmick wasn't shave his own head? I don't know. I'm perplexed. I'm perplexed. If I had to If I if if you ask me what I you know what what I would do, I'm I might split the difference. Have MJF lose, shave his head, and then win the title back on on Dynamite or something like that. And now we have shaved head MJF the new angry serial killer. You know, as champ. But I don't know. Who do you think's gonna win? I think MJF is gonna win this match. However I think they have made so much of the hair storyline that you almost Paint yourself into a corner where you kinda have to pay that off also. You know what I mean? Like Uh I I don't know if they all the way cut us there. Except that A W hasn't done it at least two or twice? Is it been three times? They put out these big stipulations it didn't amount to anything. Remember E V P Swerve? I mean Yeah. Yeah, right? Like that was something that w could have been interesting and then they're just like, nope, you just lose, right? And so Um, I mean that could be something. I mean MJF could just, you know, beat Darby. We could tell the story of how He ran out of, you know energy or whatever, but like I think the hair stuff has been so It's so central to the story they're telling. It's central to the storyline that like You almost see a situation where Darby Allen We'll probably sacrifice his title just to get MJF's air. Somehow, right? Like oh yeah. I could see him like passing out somehow or like Using like his last bit of energy to just like shave like a a mohawk into like MJ there's like one straight buzzer over his head before he like passes out or something like that. I don't know. Carvey Allen's workload and MJ F's hair have to like cross center somewhere where like both people could see. You could do like a reverse dusty finish where like where Darby wins, shaves the head, and then someone says no that restarts the match and MJF wins. You could even do a thing where MJF is like goes full killer and just like shaves his own head. Like wins the match and shaves his own head. You know what I mean? Like he has the belt, but he's like not nothing means anything to me except for this belt and here's proof. That could be really cool. Um That could be really cool. Yeah. Like the his mass psychosis finally hits him. Yeah. And he's just holding up his title after all the sick things he had. Okay, I mean I just saves his own head. My instinct is to pick Darby Allen just to balance this out, but I don't I think M J F's gonna win. It would be crazy. It would be it would be wild if he didn't. The the hair thing. We've seen it before. Anyway, okay, two MJS. We got a women's uh championship match. Tycho defending against three former champions, Jamie Hayter, Chris Statlander and Hiruka Shida. continues to be amazing. She's faking being nice. No. Um it's so good. Uh I don't think there's any way the Tecla loses four way match. You know, the tie always goes to the champ and as interesting as Sat and Sheeta have been they're a tag team right now. And they don't they know we don't need the title in their Jamie Hayter also in her second title defense I mean title a challenge in as many months. Who was and then who also joined a tag team like right w before very confusing. Um Because of that, I could weirdly see a shock Jamie Hayter win. If I had to put some money on it, that would be it. But I think Tecla's just too good. You don't you don't mess with that when it's going so strong. I'm gonna go with Tecla Retains. You know what? I'm gonna I'm inclined to agree with you. But I kinda get the feeling like They're probably gonna try something different. Like the only person who's hasn't won the AW has Jamie Hyder won the woman's title before? Oh, she has? Yeah, Jamie Hayter won the title, but then got into her and had to give it up. Oh, that was right. Okay. Right. Shout out shout out to our guy, Bruce. We won't have to edit that. So like yeah, so I thought she I I thought she won the title before, but like she said, he got injured. uh and had to give it up. So I mean like she's the only one who's like In my opinion, probably benefits from a four-way title match because he didn't really get to have a reign after winning the championship like that. So if I had the It's just put some money on somebody the title, it would be her. That's what I say. But but it's totally feasible they're just gonna I mean that Whatever's going on with Stat and Cheetah, they've just decided that's gonna be the the focal point of the women's division right now. So we'll just put the belt there. Like it's it's possible. I just I but I would My my bet is Tecla. Mm. Okay. All right. Are you going with hater or are you going are you saying that's a that would be your B just like me? I think I'm gonna go a I think I'm gonna go with hater, man. Okay. I think I'm gonna go with hater. I think there is an opportunity there. Um I agree, I agree. I think the brawling birds. I like the I like the unit, but it weirdly I mean it has worked to sort of give Jamie Hayter a little personality in that direction. Um That wouldn't shock me. Anyway. F T R versus Cop and Cage. A W tag titles are on the line and Cope and Cage can no longer tag together if they lose. And oh it's an I quit match. Mm-hmm. What do you think? Who's winning this? I mean, it would be silly to not have Cop and Cage go over here, especially given everything that they've been through and the comeback and stuff like that. I don't want to belabor it too much. Um FTR kinda owes them. I'm gonna go with Cope and Cage one of them I agree. Um Okada versus Takeshta. It's finally happening for the international title. This is a tough one. Um More than anything, it's 'cause I don't know where we are in this narrative arc. Uh I'm gonna go with Takesha. That's where the story's headed. I don't know if this is the end, but I'll go with the Kester for now. It's just hopefully they're really pushing the play button on this and not just going in circles again. You with me? It feels like they've always told the story so Takeshda could be the next Okada. Exactly. I don't know. I don't know if this is Uh I'm gonna go with Okada. I think Okada retains. Actually think you're probably right, but I'm voting. I'm voting with my heart. Um Mox versus Kyle O'Reilly. We finally rediscovered this, uh, Barry Jim. I think Kyle's gonna win. 'Cause I don't know why you're reheating this feud from a year ago. And putting him I mean, I know he went over on Dynamite. It was a good match and That's usually would mean that he's gonna lose at the pay per view. I don't know, is it too much of a distraction to the Mox Osprey thing if Mox loses his title? Um I'm trying I'm talking myself out of it. Nah, you know, I think we're always It's easy to pick Mox in these matches because he kinda always seems win these big matches. Um And that's how I'm gonna that's where I'm gonna stay. I think Moxie's gonna retain here. I'm gonna go with O'Reilly. I mean, O'Reilly should really be in the hurt business. I mean the hurt business, sorry, really be in the death writers. Mm-hmm. Um Maybe this is a path there. Maybe there's a world where like Hy and Wheeler and Daniel Garcia can just have the We the best weird like You know. lightweight lightweight grappler trios team in the world and uh just like really surprises with something. Um, but yeah I'm gonna go with O'Reilly. Okay, Stadium Stampede. You love these matches. I'm all over the place, but I think I'm finally on board. Jericho the hurt Syndicate. The elite And Jack Perry. versus the biggest one ever, in case you can't tell. The elite is the elite is Kenny Omega and the young bucks, right? So that's we got one it's just two members of the Hurt syndicate, right? Yeah. So one, two, three, four, five, six, Jack Perry. Okay, so seven versus the demand, the being ricochet. And his crew. The dogs, another three, Andrade and Mark Davis. That's I believe seven on seven. This is gonna be bonkers. Um There's no Good way to predict this. Are we going the baby faces or the heels? I don't understand I think the baby faces. I think the baby faces as much as I love the heels that are involved, it's undeniable that your bigger your biggest stars. Omega Jericho, the Bucs. They're on the baby face side. So I I'm just I'm just I would go babyface just on the grounds of the reaction that the victory would get. I don't know. What? Um Are we gonna get A musical Interlude. Yes. I don't think yes. I think we're gonna they're gonna go all out for this one. We're in New York. I think there's a high probability of of some Griselda maybe. Like maybe we get Oh you know, live live We Hurt People with this and and and the West Side Gun. Jericho's there, you know I mean, like maybe you got the live band playing through the brawl. I It's New York, man. I just hope Whatever song they pick. When it's time for, you know what I'm saying, the violence to really turn up. Just just It's a good time in New York City, man. The Knicks going to the finals, you feel me? The World Cup's gonna be here in a few weeks. You think Jericho could just break back out the tuxedo jacket and start singing like New York, New York or something just to totally paint out the crowd? I don't want this to be a Jericho thing. Jericho, this isn't about you. Okay, like you're in New York. And a very good time to be in New York, all right. So whatever song y'all pick. Just make sure it represents The city. All right, turn that stadium upside down. With whatever. So like when they pit played hit with the bodies hit the floor at Anna Great in the Arena. Yeah. And that place went nuts. I need a similar moment. I don't know what song it is. Y'all figure it out. Yeah. How much d would Tony Con have to pay to get Jay Z and Alicia Keys just to pop up on the stage? beat each other up through Empire State of Mind. Yeah. I don't know. They're gonna be in Queens. They gotta like play some Place a major look by Nas or something. Oh yeah, that would be great. You know what I mean? Like it's gotta be a Wo it would a live Nas appearance at at double or nothing be the weirdest thing that's ever happened in your life? It might be. It might be. Maybe some mob deep or something. Like something that just screams queens and violence. You know what I mean? A component or Diego. Wha. Some, some. We'll see. Uh I'm going with the baby faces here. I think they're gonna they're gonna win this one. Jericho's back, the hurt business is back. Uh This is their match. Um, the heels are kinda a little too nondescript for me outside of Andrade. Can't you imagine a world though where like all of the baby faces come to the ring in matching track suits and run DMC is there with them? And sing and wraps them to the ring. Mm-hmm. Uh, the costumes are gonna be great. They look great. Uh the Bucks and Jericho look great in their matching gear. Was it last night? Yeah. Uh as well. Anyway, we can keep moving. Um Athena, who made her annual return to the AW roster from Ring of Honor Obscurity versus Mina Shirakawa, Athena's gonna well, I mean Athena's gonna win. Uh, Will Ospreay versus Samoa Joe, Owen quar quarter final. Who do you got? I'm gonna go with Will Osprey, man. He's just training his ass. There you go. Swerve versus Bandito. I I think I gotta go Bandito, man. I think so too. Why are we having this except to have Bandito go and why did they false start the feud and now we're doing it here. It doesn't make it. Again, why are we doing this except to put Bandito over a little bit? Um all right, that's it. R McFo McFoley and Renee Piquet, who now lives Uh, ringside on Dynamite. I don't know if you noticed that, but she's doing a lot of like interviews in and out of the ring, on the weight of the ring, like on the floor. It's fantastic. Like I really, really do like it. It makes the whole thing feel more antic. And and and electric. Anyway. Um Okay, uh McFole is is it shocking that McFoley is a pre show co host? No, no, I think uh he made it pretty clear that he's not really fucking with WWE anymore, but still loves wrestling. No and we love McFoley, so whenever he's around. Well we saw him in the WrestleMania weekend make the big run in. Yeah. In the invisible man match. Yes. That was pretty awesome. Uh, but yeah, man, and he's home, you know what I mean? Like he's he's not too far from Arthur Ash Stadium. I think he's on a long island guy right now, so I mean We love McFoley. He doesn't live in truth or consequences anymore. Unless that's the name of a strip club in Queens, then I don't think that' Why Why would you say McFoley was at the strip club in Queens? Come on. Truth or consequences? It sounds like that doesn't sound like a place where you you'd spend money to to see see boobies fly? Yeah. Well it's actually the name of a game show from like the fifties or sixties. And a lot of people don't know is the town that Mick that's the Come on down to truth and consequences. Where is ladies? Jack Cactus Jack was was introduced as being from Truth or Consequences in New Mexico 'cause it felt it sounded like a Like a cool old West Town. But it was the town was named after the show. The town like in like w uh d there was some award or someone on the radio or something was just like if you name your town after us. We'll come there and do the show or something and they just they the town just did it. Uh anyway, that's true. That's a that's a shoe, guys. All right, Saturday's main event. Yeah. Uh where to begin with this one? Five matches. Pinta versus Ethan Page, I C championship match. Looks like our main event as of right now, right? Am I going in in main event? Yeah. Uh No, these are just a random order. There's no way that's a bigger match than Becky versus Sol or rear the the the It might be. Maybe so. It may be. Maybe so, but this is it this is all about the women's wrestling. So let's just go. Pinta versus Ethan Page. Here you go. Yeah. Uh I think pen Man, I want to say Penta retains, but yo. Even uh I I bet against Evan Page in his first title match in NXT and he ended up winning the damn thing. Yeah, and here's the thing. Uh they you do see a lot of that parallel here. Right. He's he's new. Also, Ethan Page has has has has has fit in so seamlessly on it. But I do think that there's I do think that there's a h there might be a really meaningful difference in the way the rest of his career goes, whether or not he wins this match. Like I don't add it's not hopeless or anything, but like if he if he wins, then he kinda keeps going in the direction that he's been going in a short time on the main roster, which is just like like I said, he's just right comfortable in the mid card trending upwards. I feel like if he loses Then in some ways psychologically he becomes the Ethan Page that like I wasn't that excited to see in WWE. Is that am I being uh overly dramatic here? He becomes just a guy. He's just a guy. Right. Uh it depends, man. There's a lot of people who aren't on this card that haven't been advertised. So your Rusev, your exactly Von Evans, Jay Von Evans. Um, all the people that's sort of in the intercontinental championship mix. kinda get the feeling they might get themselves involved. So Nonsense. Uh just on the strength of shenanigans. I'm gonna say pencer retained it. I'm gonna say shenanigans makes Ethan win. Ethan's gonna win. Okay, Logan Paul and Austin Theory of the vision versus the street profits. World tag team titles. Where would we go with the vision, man? Um Prophets aren't necessarily on the right page. They've been You know, Matas and Dawkins have been kinda going back and forth. This whole thing has been so bump the road has been so bumpy here. Like the the Prophets and Seth, it's like they were never answering it it was never clear what they if they were friends and when by the time they made it clear that the prophets are just in it for themselves. Alright. It was like kinda too late. I wasn't that interested anymore. Um Would've been way better to do that in the ring too. Just like have the profits keep backing Seth up and then like at the moment that he needs the most. They're like, no, we're not your friends. We're just here to beat up the vision, dude. And then he loses because they don't help. That would be interesting. Anyway. I think the street profits are gonna win. I think it's a bumpy ride that may that has to be pushing eventually, bending towards truth, bending towards good. Um, and and then the Provets are gonna win. Anyway, okay, Paige and Bree Bella, your women's tag team champions. versus Nye Jackson and last legend. This is a weird one. You kinda kinda put anybody in the role of the team the next team that's gonna beat these legends. It would be nice if there was like a young hot team that could take the titles off of 'em and really make it meaningful. Although I have enjoyed This sort of Battle of the Titans in the women's tag division with with uh the immovable objects and and and um Uh Lyra and and uh Bailey and see I'm not even gonna get all these names out. Um And uh Charlotte and what's her name? There we go. We'll just end it with that. But um what's her name. Uh but the but but uh it feels like Listen, it's like Paige and Brie haven't been like uh uh you know, five star in ring performers for this run? But I've liked the vibe of the whole tag division since they've won. That said, I I mean, my hope would be, you know, maybe the other two girls in in in fatal influence. Take these belts or something eventually. Wouldn't that be m so meaningful if they're the ones that destroyed the legends and not Lash Legend? Could be. Could be anyway. I mean, on top of that. Does anyone know how long Nicky Bo is gonna be out? That's a good point. She's got to come back and and cost them the titles 'cause she hates Paige so much. So until we figure out the page coming back. Yes, the page brief friendship has been too smooth. The partnership has been too smooth. It's like, Hey friend and you're like Is there no Like backstory here aside from like we high five? I don't know. Yeah. Okay. Page and Bell are gonna win. That's my p prediction. You agree? Yes, I agree. Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair, and Alexa Bliss. Oh, that's her name. versus Jade Cargo Mechan and B Fab. I mean, this is a real power imbalance here. Right. Not that that is you know, should tell us that the heels are gonna win, 'cause WWE's done this Wrestling has done this a million times, you know? Um Yeah. So anyway I I I assume that I mean I pick baby faces here, but I've been picking a lot of baby faces. I picked all baby faces except for Ethan Page. I think because I think I'm gonna go with the heels because Rhe is the champ. Yeah. Like Okay, let's go. Let's go. My team's so overpowered. The champions on their team. Someone's gonna pin the champion. Someone's gotta have a claim to the title match again. I think it's gonna be his big name. And they're also like not necessarily like Just so you know, guys, we recorded this show out of order. Whether the we gotta we gotta let you listen to these interviews. There but the interviews are already recorded. So I I wish I did it in the in chronological order, 'cause then I could ask this I could Hint at this question. When we talk to Charlotte, is it? Possible that Charlotte. Turns on Ria. Of course. But it wouldn't necessarily be turning. You know what I mean? No, no, I mean but like maybe she she caused Saria the you know, maybe there's some friction there. She's yeah, like that's that's why I think it's gonna Turn up. They're all former world champions and You know? Wouldn't make sense for, you know, Charlotte said it many times. She's like, I want to go after number four fourteen or fifteen, or whatever it was. Like, you know, so I could definitely see a hear me out. Charlotte just dumped Rhea. Charlotte versus Rhea versus Jade, triple thread at SummerSlam. I like it. The posters alone. I like it. I watch it. Becky Lynch versus Oruka. Another friend of the show, another guest you're about to hear. Um In a non title match. They took the title off this match sh after they announced it as a title match, which leads me to believe that Silar is definitely gonna win. I agree. I mean I know there's other ways that this can go. I know that it's not A to B, but It seems like the only g the only reason they would take it off after announcing it. As if they decided so's going over and they don't but they don't want to give her the belt yet and they can keep feuding. 'Cause this is a few that if they're if they have some chemistry could have real legs. Yeah. Um I'm very excited about that. So so's gonna win. Okay, well we agree. We agree on everything. Thank you guys. Uh I mean sorry, before um speaking of Sol Roka. Look who's joining the show, Kaz. Why don't you introduce her? Depression, lower self-esteem. and even withdraw from sexual activity and physical intimacy. Because of this, some men could feel embarrassed or reluctant to talk about PD. The actual cause of PD isn't always known. In some cases, it may be linked to a minor injury or repeated injuries during sex or other physical activity. The good news is P D is treatable. We can call a friend of the show at this point, right? Yeah. You know. Been here a couple of times, been killing it. And now she has a big, big Non-title match against one of the greatest of all time, Becky Lester Saturday night's main event. The one and only Soul Ruka is here on the Mass Man Show. What's going on, guys? Thanks for having me. Oh man, it's always thanks for having me. It's always good having you here. It's always good having you here. First off, um man, uh you're you're a brand new arrival to the main roster. And a lot of times I I love having these conversations with folks right when they're going from NXT to the main roster. It doesn't seem like a lot of change, but it's definitely a lot of change. All right. So first off, off rip. Biggest biggest adjustment. Going from NXT. to the main roster in these first few weeks since WrestleMania weekend? Um Honestly, just being out there in that kind of environment, like out in the rain with that many people, a whole different, like viewership like it's it's definitely different. We're doing pretty much the same things and like NXT has definitely prepared me for this but we are pr pretty much like starting over in a sense. Like this is a whole new a whole new ball game. Um I think that's probably the biggest the biggest change even just being out there for you know, promos and like talking out there. It's like I'm not used to being in that kind of environment. I'm I'm used to like the small NXT arena where I like know where to look and now it's like every week's different. So I think that just having a a a change every single week is pretty pretty different, but um it's definitely manageable and NXT has definitely prepared me for this. You mentioned knowing where to look. I mean I know you've been I'm sure you feel like you've been at this working hard for a long time. From a fans point of view, it's been a pretty wild ride for you. I mean coming from like the amount of time from where you debuted in N X T to Saturday night's main event against Becky Lynch. I mean it sitt it standing in there with the with her in the ring. On Monday night. Is there do you does it feel like a crazy journey? Like it just it's been happening so quickly for to you? Or does it feel like like this is the logical pace? Um I said yes and no. Like I feel like we I get so caught up in in this, in this like wrestling bubble that it is moving so so fast that sometimes it's hard to like really Take in the moments and like realize like how far I've come, but I feel like these past few weeks, um since the main roster the the pace is a bit slower and the the in ring promos you have more time to like listen to the crowd and like be more in the moment. I feel like I definitely had those opportunities to be like, Oh shit, like this is this is it. Like I'm really doing this and like I am ready for this and obviously I still get nervous, but you know, I'm in this position for a reason and they see something in me. So, you know, I'm just I'm here for for a wild ride and I'm excited. Yeah, I think everybody sees something in you, man. Like not only the you know, the look and obviously everything that comes with that, but you have one of the most viral finishing moves there is in the Soul Snatcher. And it it seems like every big show, every big event, every brime live event. You find out a new way to use it. Um without giving away too much to your opponent, have you thought of new inventive ways to drop Becky Lynch with the soul snatcher? That annoyes me in a bit. I have yeah, I have a few tricks up my sleeve that I've been thinking about pulling out. Uh I definitely like once I hit something that's that's different, hit it like, you know, off the steps or off the top. it's always like, man, what am I what else can I do? But I feel like with how wrestling is, like Everyone's moveset is so different. There's gonna be like countless possibilities, countless ways to counter certain things right into it. So Definitely have some stuff in mind, but you know, we'll see. I know you've answered this before and I just want to follow up on that, man. Like there's so many cutters out there. I feel like everybody's sort of got a variation of it. And you know, when somebody relatively new comes into the industry and finds a new way to do something that we've seen a million times before. It always kinda like makes people stand up and pay attention. Um So just creatively, like how did you For lack of a better way of describing it, how the hell did you come up with that? Like how did it how did this happen? Yeah, so with my background I wanted my finish to be something that incorporated that. You know, I feel like my background is is pretty unique. We do have some other gymnasts in in wrestling, but Um I just wanted something that was unique to me and something that I could do on anyone. It doesn't matter if I'm tired at the end of the match or if they're bigger than me, if they're smaller than me. So I was trying to like Think of something that hasn't necessarily been done before. Um, and I did a gymnastic a move in gymnastics on the bars called a straddleback, which is a release move from the high bar to the low bar. It's essentially the same sort of rotation, which is like a reverse gainer. So a gainer, you're Jumping forward but flipping backwards. Whereas I'm and flipping forwards. So now instead of catching the bar, I'm catching humans. So that's kind of right. Is there ever I hesitate to ask, but you know, you're a pig physical condition athlete, but is there ever a day where you wake up and you're just like, Oh, I just don't have a soul snatcher in me today? I'm a little bit stiff. Or is it can you always can you always get to the top of the moveset? Yeah, I feel like I can always get there. I mean, I feel like at the beginning of the day a lot of us are just like a bit tired and a bit like groggy, especially with like travelling and stuff, but you know, once we're in the ring and once like my music hits, like it's go time. Um The the community that you have as as an NXT Call up, uh, so to speak, is a lot different than the NXT call ups of the past. Like I feel like if we've all sort of taken notice that This new way of creating stars in NXT from two point oh on. Seems to have people just way more prepared for WWE, not just as far as your talent is concerned, but fans. Like they just seem to be immediately recognizable to you, like it's not like uh some brand new person they got to reintroduce to. Um, how's that sort of helped, you know, coming on to the main roster and just not having to really feel like You have to you have these people to learn you all over again. It kinda seems like NXT sort of helped, you know, circumvent that. Yeah, definitely. They've definitely you know prepared us very, very well and I think in my case specifically being able to go up to the to the main roster and do bra and smack down and be in the the Royal Rumble and stuff like that was a really good way for the fans to get to know me and to see me. And I think that has helped and I think they're starting to do that more, you know, get the NXT people on these bigger shows on like the main roster to to get the fans interested and invested so that when we do get there, it's not like starting all over. We still are in a sense starting all over because you know not everyone watches every single show and has seen everything that I've done. You know, every time I go out, like even on my debut, I got a pop, which I was not expecting, but I definitely think that the way that they're doing this and integrating NXT onto the main roster is gonna be really, really beneficial for for all of us coming up. Um, speaking of fans, or I guess the dark side of fandom, I saw the post that you made um about some of the Trollish uh comments that you've been getting on social media. I guess two questions. Have you shut it down? Have you stopped looking? And two Like you mu you tell me you don't have people around you that are like these people are freaking crazy. Yeah, no one can say anything mean just come on. Yeah, I mean social media is is tough, you know? 'Cause like Especially with like the trolls and people hating, I feel like a lot of us just like we wanna know what people think. We wanna know if people liked our matches, they we wanna know if they if they're invested in and whatnot, but I feel like it doesn't matter how many good comments we see, we see one of those bad ones that like strikes a nerve. We're just like, Oh my god, I'm the worst, like ended terribly. Um But yeah, it's just it's It's something you just have to learn to like work through and I think that's it's gonna be an ongoing thing, I don't think any of us are ever gonna completely get over that. Um, but I did have Triple H call me um after my baby with with Becky in the promo and stuff and he was like, I just want to know, you did a great job, like I was like, yeah, like I'm just gonna stay off social media, like You know, not a hundred percent happy with how it turned out, but He was like Honestly, like We think it amazing. Like, don't worry about it. Don't go on social media. Like, he really just gave me that like that okay, like you're you're fine. Like don't care what people say. Like we think you did amazing and just keep doing what you're doing. I gotta ask, man, what's the what's the surfer community like in the WWE? I know you surf, I know Shinsuke surfs, but I don't know how much time you get to fit in, you know, I mean, going to go going to catch a wave, you know, during your weekly you know, now especially being on the main roster, being everywhere. You know what I'm saying? Like what is how how how do you work that into your your regimen? Honestly, I've been slacking. Like I've been very, very busy these past like couple months honestly. Uh I honestly just try and go as much as I can, but I mean even like Florida's not the best for surfing, so it's not great. But I mean I try and get out there. It's my way to like decompress and just like step out of the wrestling world for a bit. outside of the the mental uh s sort of benefits of it, like physically, how does 'cause I I don't surf but I could assume it's really good for the core, right? Like w how does surfing sort of help? You know, in professional wrestling. Uh it definitely helps like just like your balance and stuff and definitely like core and also like You know, waves they're unpredictable, so it's it's a great way to, you know, be ready for anything and I feel like wrestling is just like that. You never know what's gonna happen. Things don't go as planned, things aren't always perfect in the range same with surfing, like waves are different every single time you go out. So I think that helps me like just be adaptable and and ready for anything. Becky Lynch. I mean we you talked some about your transition to the main roster. There's it's one thing to be like, you know, hey, I'm in front of bigger crowds now. It's another thing to be like I'm officially having a match with Becky Lynch on Saturday night's main event. I know that she's, you know. a trash talk her in her own right. I know that she's not exactly the most welcoming foe on screen. But it's gotta be wild, right? I mean what is the w what is what is your what is your mental state like going into a match like this? Um, honestly I just try and be like locked in on on what is at hand. I have to, you know, show up and just do my best. I try not to get too turn too too nervous. I honestly just like allow myself to get nervous when I'm backstage right before about to go out, but then once my music hits, like it's go time. Um, but yeah, I mean I'm I'm definitely nervous. She's one of the greatest to do this. Uh she's the man, she's incredible. And then even being in in the ring like cutting promos with her, it's like oh my god, she's she's just so good at what she does that it's nerve wracking. But again, I think that I am prepared for this and I think that what I've done so far is it I'm proud of it. So Yeah, I just gotta Keep running that wave. I gotta tell you, go back and watch. And I say I'm the biggest Becky Lynch fan in the world and she was my favorite of the horse women when they came up. But go back and watch that early Becky Lynch tape. Like she didn't show up on the main roster with the delivery that she has now, you know? And she and she certainly was like number four in the in terms of how pushed the horse women were when they got called up to the main roster. Now she's a legend. It's a good lesson in like how great you can be, you know, with the right mindset. But you know it it doesn't really matter where you start. But I guess that's more of a statement than a question. But do you pay attention? the career trajectories of the of like the people you're in the ring with it do you do you have a a concept of of everybody's like legacy and history when you get in there. Oh yeah, definitely. I think that Yeah, it does definitely help me and it makes me feel a little bit more confident going in because like I am still so new to this. I've only been doing this for like four years. Um and like I'm getting in the ring with, you know, Becky's and Bailey's and Libs who have been doing this for so long and are so, so good. Um, and like I do kind of compare myself to them sometimes, but I'm like I need to not compare myself to them right now. I need not compare myself to them at all, but like knowing their their their process and how they've like came to be. It just it makes me excited to see like where I'm gonna be when I'm, you know, at that level or that far into my career. You know, John Cena just announced the the John Cena classic and you were technically in the first one, I guess. Uh was Saturday night's main event. Uh, seen his retirement tour and uh his last match and he was very adamant about Showcasing the future and showcasing who's got next and and and all that stuff. Um I know we're still sort of figuring out exactly when this is gonna happen or what it's gonna look like, but let's take me back to that Saturday night's main event. with John Cena's retirement match and everybody has stories about just how uh welcoming he is and how much how open he is to to, you know, share his wealth of knowledge. Uh tell me about that night with John Cena and and any conversations you guys might have had. as far as uh you know advice that he might have given you. Yeah, yeah. That honestly that day was like probably one of the most fun days I've had here. Like It didn't even feel like a a big show. Like it did in in a way, but it also felt just like a celebration. Like everyone was just so happy, so high energy, and it was just such a fun environment. Um And being in there with someone like Bailey, she's absolutely incredible. She's so much fun to work with and I've learned so much from her. Um but yeah, right before John went out. He like had watched our match and he had g given us some some feedback on it and both of us were like, oh my God, like he's literally about to go out like right this second, yet he's like taking the time to come and talk to us and give us feedback on our match. Um gave us the feedback. He went out there. Came back after his match, called us back again. He's like See what I did? Like this is exactly what I was talking about. And like kinda just like Just like proved what he was saying and we're just like, Oh my God, you're just the coolest. Like I just could not believe that he just took the time out of like his day. Like this was for him. This was like all about him and he still took the time to like Talk and like give us feedback and like leave the place better than he found it. We gotta let you get out of here, so I gotta ask one more question. Okay, I got one more too, but you go first. You go right ahead. Yo, your arm sleeve is so dope. I I I feel like I'm n I have no idea what the tattoos mean. Can you break down some of your most Uh the tattoos on your arm that mean the most to you on that right arm sleeve because it feels like it gets more intricate every every time I see it. Yeah, so honestly a lot of them don't have like super deep meanings. Um, yeah, a lot of them's stuff I like. I got two of my favorite sharks, I got a sun, some flowers. Um I I feel like the one that's meaningful on this arm is this like skull. I don't even know if you can see it. It's like a skull and it's got a paradise flower on on top of it. So I designed that one and it has the Hawaiian Islands hidden. in like the school details. Um and this was I got this right before I was moving out here to join WWE. And it's just a reminder that like wherever you go, it could be your paradise as long as like your mental your ment mentality is that way. I was leaving Hawaii. I was really sad about it. That was like a dream of mine to live to live there. And you know, having to completely change my whole life and come here and start over. I was just like, you know what? Whatever happens, like I'm gonna make this like The best it can be. We've got that main Rasta money now, so maybe in a few months we can go back and get that crib at Hawaii. Yeah, get it in before the house show circuit comes back. All right, um a Saturday, Saturday night's main event. Yes. You're taking on Becky Lynch. Everybody's gotta watch this. Every I mean it was gonna be a title match. Now they're telling it's a non title match. Those of us in the know I think have an idea that that could mean probably conceivably better things for you uh as we move forward. Good luck to you. My last question to you. It's very simple. The first time you see somebody on the Indies or maybe on the competition, do the soul snatcher as a transition move. Are you going to be mad? Um Man. Honestly. I don't think I'm gonna be mad because like clearly mine's better because I'm finishing people. So honestly I'm honored that people are, you know, taking some inspiration and, you know, doing doing their own thing. But yeah, I feel like I mean mine's The best so That's the right attitude. So Ruckett, thank you so much for coming on the Masked Man Show. We can't wait to see your wrestle on Saturday and uh and you know, good luck to you. Thank you guys. Thank you. That was awesome, but that's not all. We've got Charlotte Flair too. Here is Charlotte Flair. Come heard of the Masked Man Show, guys. All right, and joining us today on the Masked Man Show is like I said. Well our previous guest, but now I think we can actually say friend of the show. You know what I mean? Like we've done the song and dance. For a long time. So many legends. You know what I mean? The living legend. Living legend. Yeah, you gotta say the word, the living legend, one of the greatest of all time, the one and only, Charlotte Flair. What's up, Charlotte? Thanks guys. Thanks for having me again. Again, it's al it's always good catching up with you. Always a good talk because like You're I I you're so always in your prime. But you have such you have like this reverence for like everything women's wrestling and just wrestling in general. So just being able to shoot the breeze with you was always fun. Um, so yo, you had this rivals coming out with Becky Lynch and uh That is something that really set the table for a lot of your career and Your friendship, your not friendship, the the four horsewoman of it all. Give me the gist of what we can expect from this what we're seeing. And then I just love to just like just. follow up on on where you guys are at now. Oh, this is about to be so long winded. Um get long winded. We'll we always It's funny because We did the sit down interviews for this episode. Two and a half years ago? Yeah. Yeah. So I know for me personally, I was out on injury. I was super depressed. I was missing WrestleMania forty. I didn't see a light at the end of the tunnel. So I have no idea what they took. Um from these interviews. I just know I was like super emotional. Um Second. You know You have our rivalry coming out. But you also have like my dad and macho man's, right? My dad's seventy eight. Macho Man is not with us. And iconic story. Or rivalry. And I'm looking at Becky and I going, Well, this isn't over. Yeah. To me. So it's like this story happened five years ago. My dad and Macho Man happened how many years ago? So it's it's great that like new fans or even you know fans who've been fans for a while get to kind of like, oh yeah, evolution was ball or oh yeah, TLC with Becky Oscar and Charlotte. Top notch. You know like they get to see, you know, how it started, how it ended again, and kind of go back if they've for you know that they've forgotten, but it just hasn't been on their top of mind awareness. But by no means do I think like this is a pin in the story. And Yes, it was a pivotal moment in the business. It meant a lot to both of our careers. But What it meant to the both of our careers was very different. This was the rise of the man. Mm-hmm. For me, this was like what am I doing? Deer and headlights. The bad guys getting cheered and the good guys getting booed. I look back on it and it was some of my least favorite work in terms of not having confidence. But once I got to the Ronda, once I got to Survivor series, and there was that switch was like, wait, why do I care that they're booing? But I had to go three months of like they don't like me. I have never learned more from a story than I did with Bex. In that like Time period. So it was great. I wouldn't be the performer I am today if I hadn't of learned all of those lessons. and what it means and the fans reacting. So what it means to our careers Professionally is very different. But I think for women's wrestling. That That rivalry going into WrestleMania thirty five being the main event. Um Is Unparallel. Mm-hmm. And this. So sorry, very loaded. Loaded answer, but No, no, no, I'll I don't think it's loaded. I don't think it's loaded at all, man. Like Because I I remember That SummerSlam where where where Becky turns on you and the place goes nuts, right? And like I could I could kind of see, you know what I mean, like you guys were entering sort of uncharted territory as far as women's wrestling is concerned, because like you said, the good guy was getting cheered, the the good guys getting booed. Bad guy was getting cheered. We were kind of having that, and I don't want to be like blasphemous when we say it, this sort of like Austin 360 moment, just on the women's side, even down to like You know, you know, her busting her nose. having that crazy moment. So Just I I just want to double back on that a little bit, man, because your front row. You are the the champion. You are the the person who is like the the the franchise for not just women but like most of what's going on 'cause you're about to mate it at Wrestlemania. You said there was a lot of confidence issues. Like talk to me about that. Like what did you kind of see being like that first person through the door to kind of feel that? Not it's not confidence in what Bex did. It was more confidence of like I didn't know. At that time in my career, I did not know that You stay true to who the character is. So for me when I look back I'm like well They don't like me. They think that You know, I haven't earned anything and everything that she's saying about my character They believe it because I am Ric Flair's daughter and I w and she you know, all these things. And instead of like being like, No, this isn't true, like Dude, be the franchise. Be the whatever time champion, be all those things that she's saying where I was like, like me, like me and That is unlikable. Mm, yeah. And then like changing your work to where like Yes, she was having that moment, but had I understood psychology at that time, I felt like it would have been very much different. Like Had For me at least. Not for Bex, but for but like for me had I been like Yeah, I'm the franchise player, so what? You wanna cry about it? But I didn't. Instead I was like I'm not the franchise player. How dare you say that? And I wasn't like smart enough. To know. I just didn't understand wrestling psychology enough or where I was like, she ate me alive. And I was getting eaten alive, eaten alive until Not necessarily promo, but when I had the match with Rhonda where I was a replacement. And then how I wrestled Rhonda is how I should've presented myself the entire feud for Charlotte standpoint. Cause like someone looked at me one day and was like, We're denting a Ferrari. And I was like, huh? And they were like, You're a badass. Be a badass. Yeah. Like, why are you trying to like So But again, like You need these things to happen in your career. So when like You know how to adjust. Like I should have looked at it as like Dude, they're reacting. Yeah. Yeah. Like whether it's good, bad, or indifferent, they're reacting. Well yes. It's such a grown it was like for Becky it was like I'm on top of the world. For me it was like Oh man. I'm taking these notes with me forever. Like you know, yeah. So like Which yeah. It's I think that one of the reasons why one of the I mean, one of many reasons why people are so intrigued by this feud between you and Becky Lynch. Is that sort of There's sort of a live wire aspect to it, and there's a real life aspect to it, right? Like people even in in real time can see you're being affected by the crowd's response, right? And I of course you have to go you have to think about we we were talking before you came on about the belt the belt swap, ex the belt exchange moment between you two. Where it apparently Becky's talked about this, I don't know if you've talked about this, but it didn't go quite according to plan where The belt you were handing her ended up on the ground. Um but and I think that there are people are watching that who are really interested in the storyline, but even more interested in like what's what's going on between these two human beings that would lead to this Well we we just didn't see eye to eye. We really didn't. Like she wants to be the best. I wanna be the best. And I wish I could look at both of you and say That I had big enough balls. to just drop the title. I really wish. I really wish I could have been like, yep. I dropped it on purpose. Right. No, it was a cat and mouse gone really wrong. Now. If you look at the big picture of it, it ended up great for her. But that full week. I was like dead silent because I'm like What the heck? What the heck? Yeah. Like what the heck. But it made it made for good TV. It did. It made but it but it made for good TV. But no, we did not see eye to eye on how that segment like would you ever like Would you ever Would you ever see Brock Lesnar, just hand the title over to Roman Higo. No. Yeah. That's an absolute fact. Here you go, Seth. Yeah. And the and every time it's been done, it's been like heated he name heated what Stone Cold. Here you go, Brett. Yeah. Right, right. No. So as the bad guy and her being the good guy. Here you go, Becky. So it was cat and mouse gone bad. Like it just went really bad and then really bad and then really bad. Yeah. And then it makes a great TV. And then like hands down that Survivor Series match. Epic. Yeah. I want to do it again. I wanna do it again. She makes me better. And I think 'cause I don't want to speak for her, but I make her better, 'cause we both want to be the best. Y you you're always more open about you know, what you go through in the moment, I think, than some of the people we talk to. Do you ever get the vibe when you're in one of your When if you're ever at a low moment these days that you're just like, Dang, it's always worked out for me in the past. You know, and like all these bad moments always end up becoming good moments in my memory. You know, like whatever you have that I look at I look at last year. Right? Yeah. With that, Tiffany? With Tiffany and I look at that promo that I was really trying to like After I won the Rumble and I had the yellow outfit on. And I really was like, y'all last like I was really having a hard time. And then like I heard the fans boo and I was able to be like, you know what? Whether you like me, love me, blah blah blah, I'm still the greatest to ever do it. And I felt it. And if you go back and watch the promo, like minus the noise. You can really feel that like I believed everything I said. Everything that happened last year got me to where I am this year. And I am thankful for The good, the bad, the ugly leading up to forty one. And w whatever did or didn't happen got me here today. So I don't I wouldn't change anything. And I and I'd like to say, man, today you look like you're wrestling with more happiness. You know what I mean? Like you and Alexa bring a sort of happiness out of each other. Like I think fans have sort of become a lot more Um Just, I don't know. Like they they've been y'all y'all but y'all y'all got a better relationship with the past yeah. I think the fans were just so conditioned to thinking like I And uh I could be wrong, but like I am not Charlotte Flair. And I think that's a testament to how well I played Charlotte. Mm-hmm. And being the punching bag for whether it was this story or this story or this story. And but that was my job. I did my job very well, but it came to a point where like This isn't No, like this is this this doesn't feel like Right. Mm-hmm. Something has to give. And you know what? I just laid it all out there because like I love my job so much. I love what I do. And I like and I and I wanna go back bad one day. I don't know when, but like when I do, it's gonna be just as much fun. Yeah. Get your g yeah, get the get your heel turn catchphrase in your back pocket. So when it happens, you'll just be right on top of it. Yeah. So Yeah, I learned from everything. I think you have to learn to grow. Yeah, I think that's exactly right. You know, I was looking through Um your Wikipedia page as a good journalist always does before an interview. And I got and I got to one I forgot I I forgot. All I can say is this that you were in the January's twenty sixteen issue of muscle and fitness. Uh, ranking you were the the what in the in the the Twenty ninth out of fifty in in fittest women athletes of the year. You were also in the SP and body issue around that time too. This was at a moment in time. Wait, WWE would do whatever what would just, you know, jump out of a moving car to get a mainstream magazine to publish some you know, to publish one of their wrestlers. Now we're in a whole different world where you guys could probably just take over the whole year of muscle and fitness programming, but it is a good measuring stick because at that time You were something of like I think we called you I think I called you the female Brock Lesnar early at the time. It was just like the the physical capability is so far off the z off the charts here. That it's like there's no way to measure this. Now I remember talking to you like the first time you were feuding with Rhea Ripley, and it seems like you have this like psychological kinship with the real strong fit women. Right, that there's like ca some connection there. And now you have we just talked to Sol Rukha, uh, we interviewed her just a and thinking of like your matches with Kiana James. Like is this is is it just me as a fan imagining this stuff, or do you feel like the women who were like On the muscle and fitness level and you have a special bond. I don't wanna s okay. 'Cause I don't wanna say that I don't have a special bon a special bond with women. Who Didn't play Forts. Yeah. But when but like when you have that background and you've played sports and You just I don't know, just Let's gat let's game. I don't know, g game versus Game recognition. If you play if you come from a sports background, it's just like an uh It's a language that you speak that you don't have to really you know what I mean? I guess. Because I don't want to take away from anyone that hasn't. But it's like It feels just a look. Feels a little different. You know, I feel like what w what he was trying to get at is that like we usually call things the Randy Orton test, where like when new people come in to WWE and we compare them size wise to Randy Orton and be like, okay, like he's kind of The measuring stick of how like you want your rustles to look. Yeah, you won't know what someone you won't know what someone's gonna look like until you see them next to Randy Orton. Right. It's always a good measure if somebody's like small, tall, whatever. And Dave, you've kind of become that sin, you know, you you started in WWE. It's like But I take it very serious. Maybe too serious. We see it. No, it's it's it's evident. You know what I mean? Like I feel like, you know, you take a you take a lot of pride in in being an athlete and bringing and and showing that this is An athletic exhibition. Like this is entertaining at all, but like real athletes do this. And I think the missile and fitness, the ESPNs of all that sort of stuff. really plays into that for you. Um Just talk to me a little bit more just about like how The athlete relationship that I think a lot of what is built on WWE's new recruitment system now. Uh, you know. attracts you the sort sort of these new wrestlers that come in. No, I I think for me, that's what's been the longevity of my career is because I do approach it. Like it's a sport. You have to train for your sport. Um WrestleMania has always been my Olympics. Uh I l so I very much You know, equate how I approach the in ring to like how you would prepare for tournament it's Yeah, just constantly training. Um And then Another aspect is You know, my uncle arn told me very early on that you have to have one of three things. Um The body The charisma. Or a worker. And I've always tried to be all three. I don't think I've been all three at one time. But like Maybe I was the talker that night, maybe I was the body that night, maybe I was the the wrestler that night, but like I'm so competitive that I'm like, I don't know what you're talking about, Uncle Larn, I'm gonna be all three. Mm-hmm. You know what I mean? U correct me if I'm wrong. It almost feels like The fact that you were so You were so successful right out of the gate. has done a weird thing with your career arc? Where it's like there's o it's not like you only have downward to go from there, but it's almost like you gotta keep sort of defending the crown even when you're not the title. Does that make any sense? It's No, for me what I think has been the and it's not It's not a n it's not necessarily a negative, but I do like, I'm like, huh? Is because I started out on top out. Of the gate. I think people think I've been here for 2 years. And I'm like You guys. Becky and I started it the same. All these men were way before me. Yeah. Like I started out on top and the man was what? Four years into my career? Yeah. At least, yeah. So I'd already been on top, so I'm like You guys are treating me like I'm like Moola. Yeah like that but I'm I'm serious. It's always like a yo what's what what el what else is there left to accomplish with you and I've seen you answer the question a million times. We don't. And like because I started out the gate, it's like well I wanna go for fifteen. Like. Like I I a lot of people are like Oh, you know, you're you're you're pretty much the Randy of the Div I'm like Yeah. Randy's been here like twelve years longer than me. Wait, like Drew's bit like what But you understand your place though. I mean like you you specifically represent like a a a specific like bookmark in like the the The wrestling story book, like The day you and and Becky and Sasha walks out with Stephanie, like that is like It's rare that in wrestling like it's like, okay, here's chapter one of the book, you know what I mean? And like you're right there. So if I think to the to the average, you know, thinker or watcher. It seems a lot longer than it is. But There definitely is a before Charlotte and the Horsewoman and an after Charlotte and the Horsewoman that makes it seem like it was such A long time ago. Yep. But I think I'm doing my best character work right now though. I'm I'm very excited to see where it's gonna go. Yeah. Yeah. You and Alexa bring a real uh fun kinship out of each other. You know what I mean? And I don't think we see a lot of that on uh Wrestling TV, it's always like when's the other person's gonna turn on the other one? Well what I think what's sp like and I this is such a testament to blister, but We're like individual superstars. She doesn't need me and I don't need her. Like That and like neither one of us shadows the other where you're like I don't know how to explain it, but you there's always comes a period I feel like when you see You know people that get put together or groups or met like This is like just two badass women that are like really good friends and they're really different, but they make magic together. Cause we really are different. Like she's into Disney and I want like I want to be an Olympic gold medalist. Like it's just dip like Um I gotta ask because uh people watching this on video wanna know there is a mannequin behind you is that and it with a with the Divas championship belt and a gold That's not WrestleMania thirty four, is it? What is that? WrestleMania thirty four. Oh, I was right. I never get those things right. It makes me it makes me wonder what I always wonder when you roll out to the ring on like a random episode of Smackdown. in a robe I don't think I've ever seen before. What is the robe budget? Just just just loosely. You spend you must spend an unb I know that your dad was a legend. For how much money he just like You know, would drop on on ring gear or whatever, but like you gotta be spending more than everybody else, right? You don't get a flared discount on robes at this point? Like at the robe warehouse? Yeah. Uh oh, Charles got a reaction here. Yes. No, my WrestleMania robe last year was just I think it almost like It was almost like 15 grand by the time it was done. Because I kept previsioning. But wait, I every single one is not that price. But they are like a couple thousand of a couple of thousands of dollars. They vary. Wow. Maybe. Wow. But a lot of it too is like you gotta ship it to this person, to that person, because one person stones it, one person does the feathers. It's just like cha I've really tried to I really wanted to come back different from knee injury. Like I did this whole picture I wanted to come back with dark hair and the black robe and be the dark evil queen and that just obviously did not happen. But 'cause I 'cause I was like When you think of the name flare, it's synonymous with blonde. So how could I come back so Who who's to say I won't do that later, like down the road, but I really tried to change the robe so you just didn't get classic Charlotte. And I feel like they're a little different, but a lot of that was like trial and error. Like I'd have a robe made and then it was like, Oh, like I have one that was made for me last year that I actually put put online and I was like, Hey guys, should I make this different? where like this woman who stones my my gear that lives in New York, she's gonna try to like switch it up a little bit 'cause it's too classic, Charlotte, where I've really tried to, you know, be into rainbows and butterflies. So um I do put a lot of effort in all of that stuff. I really do. Cause my dad always like look dress for the part you want. So I never want to let the fa like I feel good when I like look good. Mm-hmm. And and and it looks it looks great. The robes is killing. And uh it's always great talking with you, Charlotte. Every time we get to catch up, it's always a good, good time, man. Danhausen, by the way, you were t texting last night uh Danhausen's gotta be on the Knicks on the float if the Knicks win the championship. Yes. I and I said that could be the biggest thing that happened to WWE. Not just the float, but just like Danhausen's involvement with the next championship run. Mm, mm hmm. I told you he walked on to first take yesterday, just like did a run in, and they're like, Hey, look, it's Danhausen. That's weird. And that was the whole thing. Like, it was crazy. He's just came to curse the cabs and leave, and then they gave up the second biggest comeback in the history of the NBA B. It's a real curse. I mean, that's really a curse thing. That is cursed behavior. If I if you didn't believe it for the first couple of games, you gotta kinda see Donovan Mitchell out there and God love him. any Louisville alum is a friend of mine, but the but he was you know, they're asking him like what happened, he was like, I don't know, man, we lost. What else is there to say? If you're gonna go out there and give a stubborn non answer. Which I appre appreciate most of the time, but if you're gonna go to a stu stubborn non answer yesterday, you should have just said it you should just blamed it on Danhausen. Just feel like you know, if you don't want to talk to the press, just be like, It's that motherfucker Danhausen, next question, you know? That would have been great. But anyway, good good shouts to Danhausen. Um that was all your plugs, right? Yes, sir. All right. Uh You can pre order my book. My Hulk Hogan matters.
