Well I didn't probably mention it to them onay, just when I was coming out at the boardroom on Wednesday Sunday Sam Maybe we hunt to who that is but anyway. simply put. Is he putting on the full cet FO senders pictures right Weekends It's the question everyone wants to know You would have we a weekend How'd you think my weekend went? Say up until She up until the eighty seventh minute at Celtic Park It was a best weekend in the history of my life pare than when I got married Hi Tresa, Hope youre doing darling. Yes. That feeling That feeling When Shankland Sch How were you in Shanklin S G? So you were at the Cn exchange for our STV radio football show on the on STV radio We were on twelve to four. Iours at Parkheads. He was at Corn exchange with Lends. Legends of legends more there as well Thousands of Hearts fans were in there When that goal goes in just before halftimeful Mor in Shankland That feeling will live in me forever It was remarkable. That was just I was kissing people I didn't know. I was hugging people that I didn't know U I was stood next to a family are three generations of a family. the m, the granny, the granddad the son, his wife and two kids And it was just lovely seeing everyone was up dancing and singing and hugging and It was just an amazing feeling. and at that moment you're thinking, just get to half time. That's all you need to do. That's all we need to do is just get to half time. Ay Egels had other ideas though, didn't they? It was atmosphere is unreal, E even going into Edinburgh There was a there was just It was just maroon everywhere. The streets were just maroon. peopleople walking about in their hearts kit. And their heart scarf, heart's hats. The corn exchange atmosphere was superb. Yeah, up until Celtic scored that go in eighty six, eighty seventh minute, it was a brilliant weekend. It was, it really was. then After the laws of losing the league We then the entire part support. and I'd said that on the night before that no matter what the result, we should all go back to Tyncastle and welcome home the team And we all left the corn exchange thousands of us and we all marched down Cheshire Avenue, Cheshire Avenue, down down Gorgy Road, straight to Tyncastle, and we waited for our team to come back And then you just felt great that the support all did turn up. and you could not move. It was chock a block full of arts fans singing songs. and as soon as the bus pulled up, it was really emotional. There's a lot of tears, particularly from kids H Obviously excited that their team could maybe win the league. And it was quite emotional seeing the team arrive and to get the applause that they got and they deserved that as well. So yeah, I was really proud of the club, proud of the team P to the fans. I thought we would acc credit to the club and to the city Got it, don't get me wr honey. And then yesterday I just kind of like Steed very quiet kept myself to myself tried to watch Eurovision, but I couldn't concentrate on that. I couldn't you concentrate on it. just wait. In't concentrate on it. And I love Eurovision. I just could not concentrate on it. I just kept thinking about that goal for Iida L that moment is And the thing is what was really strange about that moment is offside. But I knew and the boy next to me we, he's no offside. was't close. I don't byy the way. see far see farar far far if farar's not there, hearts win the league. on what is probably the worst. Offside decision in the history of football talking five yards. minimum. mininimum And we were going that never he' off side,'s off side celebrating and I'm like going, no I don't think he's ons side. So there's a number of fans who were celebrating that it was offside A couple of us were going, he's nosid he can't be offside turns out you were right and then the groans and yeah anyway. Did you film any no Because you know what, I was there to experience that the day Dang on the tears. Callum your weekend? I was at my cousin's wedding. Cgrratulations to L. has our wedding the day of the final game of the season. Exactly. He's a sports producer? I check the diary. I cancellled my trip to Eur division for this weekend The least she could have done. seeee anybody who is getting married, you know a year in advance when the season's going to end. Correct, right? When was the last time it mattered? It doesn't matter. You still don't book. You should be watching. You don't book because somebodyays with coffee. Somebody's being presented with a trophy in the final day of the season. You don't arrange a wedding on the final day of the football season or at the start of a World Cup. onia waiting. On the day of the World Cup starting, who does that? To be fair, it was in Dundee where the title goes doesn't really matter That's one big deal. Anyway, congratulations to Luren and Lee who got married. The ceremony was like twenty of them just really close family and friends and there was another hundred of us stood outside the venue't even didn't get to see them get married. The reception starts at two PM and and the couple are going to walk down, everyveryone's got to confette. You you've got to throw over them and at ten to two person in charge of the event was right everyone, timeim to come up. We're all like, ahha. get the phone. We didn't get there until full time missile. And the couple had to wait on us finishing watching the game to go up u through the confetti over room as they did their first walk as a couple because nobody was interested in the wedding. Everybody was watching the football. Just says all about the season. The sadest thing about it You can you can look at this two ways. I knew that Celtic had scored beforefore it came up on my Skygo and my phone, thanks to my dad who lets me use his skkygo, because the two Celtic pubs in Dundy I heard them celebrate before it came through in my phone Right. And I was like, that's mental. That's louder than any cheiter I've heard in Dundee for any Dundee team.' Celta. You're at Celtic Park here? bonkers It was an neast of A very early start to do a Rad your heads. interterviews beforehand And then yeah. Bonkers And then the game finishes, it's I was still there. I was afterwards doing interviews in I was like It's your division? What myine? What I just like him Thankfully, because of the hal toel kick off, I managed to get up the do just after six. A a long day. Oh, I know and so we It's the biggest night, as you always well know of the year as the Eurvision song contest for me I drank An entire bank Massive buzzbowl all to myself Watching your division? Yes The big blue one. justice just drawing it. Probably. Probably. you know how drunk it is when you wake up the next morning And you have eight booking. com Reservations for hotels in Sfia, Bulgaria for next year. Fantastic. So I sh't be working at next year's end of season two.' I'll be well done to Bulgaria for winning the Universion So Hold on a second, you booked seats or hotels for Sfia in Bulgaria est that you woke up to that news. Did you remember booking it N generineally not. And I think. pro probably probably shut myself because I thought, o if I paid for it, No that way you can reserve it p. I looked him Rzal. I was like, feels like you need to change the joint account. I think I've done something really bad y. So yes, United Kingdom came last. I know this isn't a your division song contest podcast, but Not surprise it was shappe BBC must do better. Yeah. And then yesterday I woke up And I had leftover chicken djas At half past nine in the morning was Ronie that's genuine hf. was Fal walked out of the room and was like, you're a disgrace. You sat in the room with your chicken madras on half night before. half nine in theorning. Half nine in the half nine in the morning. And I just I just watched the football game. Th then you had to go again to the and then the football writers. We went to the football writers last night. againain, thank you to love the Ronie Esplin from the Press Association for inviting Callum and I Hm And then into season and I will say this Demic McKinnis and Cludeo Braga Mager andplate of the year bothoth spoke. Excellent Im surpris that Dererick turned up, but fairly a measure of the mat, genuinely. he stayed chated the way afterwards. Claude Braga had his whole family, just wonderful event A so er, very well done to them for doing that Hey, I've got a joke for you Are we doing jokes? I'll get one go on. I'll get one from the lovely Mark. Hoot. You know it's a good joke when he signed it off. Hail heil from Mark. Right. Okay. So I was walking along the road and saw three weei hamsters in a suitcase. I phoned the RSPCA and told them what I had discovered. The woman on the phone said, Are they moving? I says, I don't know, Hen, but it certainly explains the suitcases Thank you to Mark. Well Mark. Lovely from Mark whoo is the coach driver who took me down to Stunwar for the Bowls back in the day, apparently. Oh that okay? Cant remember that? I remember with me? You clearly made an impact. I leave have an impact Right, ladies and gentlemen. let's get to it because the talk of the tune was about the boys and Maroon right up until the final day Let's doing chronological orordder's do doing waysight Hartsroot standing against Folkk. Yes, let's do that. Hartsot standing was Falkirk. was goodood win, good goal. And I're gonna to get be a falk. No no, no, no. I said that call last week that we were going to beat them three or four no. We went to three no really' terrible the hvans weren happy with you I's proved great though, Gord Gording The cldowns to not scoreing on goal was well pretty much h No. Evans. No, no, no, was it was Henderson. I wasn't challenging We call sortage it and A actuallyo Donison was the best player in the pitch that night he was outstanding. He was super wasn't. He wasn't the best player in the pitch. No, he was. He wasn't the best player in the pitch. You cant was play, but he did' not expl in the pitch. But he was in regards to the ratings he was They were out hearts. So listenart they had so many injuries. so many of their key players were Barney with Stewart, I was out and Lisa, etcetera, et ceter.. And listen, this I thought hearts were very good, G did the job they needed to do Can we talk about Wednes really quickly so I worked for STV in the Town Castle Arms. So we had Raman and Jamie in the stadium to do the newspiece. and me and a camera operator were in tiny arms It was put in. it was And Mel who runs it, she's excell. She's so here to Mel for saing STV out. she really in the arm. She kicked BBC out because we went in. Oh good on yourself I made that fought for the my goodness. I was stood watching the game for the first half, trying to stay out with the camera shot. The boy next and he goes He did that podcast. I got so many people saying that to me. I went, I, how come he goes? I'm a United fan. I just want to come here and see history. That's tr f was watching the game it was unreal. Wow Wh sre was excellent. It has a history going big man. And I was at Fur Park where again, I thought a game can't get any crazier than You, I've only seen wee bits of it and I did flip over just as we were his heart scored their third. Yes. I did flick over to see what was happening at F partark, but obviously I didn't see all the game. I What was a game like Ronny Wh would Motherwell, see when Motherwell areg good I genuinely believe they're untouchable in this league But they weren't consistently going and, no, no, no, no,el they had to really reallyally grafted for it. You could tell. even on the touch line when the I think like the likes the Maloney you all that were're celebrating the goals like they've genuinely It was it was mad And then obviously you get the penal decision at the end and you just think game It's just It just it just summed up the season for me. Ething Yeah. everything in the last week or so just sumed up this season It's been crazy, it's been bonkers, it's been brilliant, it's been fascinating been a remarkable campaign. and What happened on Wednesday night And what's happened off the back of what happened on Wednesdayight Um There is no I'm being honest with you Bying out of order, right? John Beaton. Yeah, John Beaton having to For those who don't know, where have you been foollowing the game on Wednesday night had to have police surveillance at his house after some because someone leaked personal information online. And it's just bang out of order. And also there's there's You I mean All season, we've sat here and we've criticized referees about decisions And that's part and parcel of the game that we watch that we love. that we analyze decisions and I thought the decision on Wednesday night was a poor decision. I don't think there's any conclusive proof that struck his hand and the criticism was justified However, when you start to pedle conspiracies And when you start to question a referee's integrity, you lose all of my respect And at no point in my entire career of working in football, have I pedalled a conspiracy? Have ever questioned a referee's integrity However, there are some platforms in me who have hinted the referee integrity and also peddled conspiracies And then those individuals then take The u tryry to take the moral high ground When they should be taking a long hard look at themselves in the mirror beforefore they start having a pop at others within and Scottish football. And I think what happened on Wednesday night was just a poor decision I think ultimately, Andrew Dallas is the one that make the biggest mistake here by pooling over John Beaton, because there wasn't for me and I'm sure for the watching world as we all witness, there was no conclusive proof on the video angle that was presented to us that it struck his hand So I felt sorry for John Bat for being put in that position by Andrew Dallas. I really did Because as we all know at ninetiney to nine times out one hundred, when a referees called over too the screen They're going to give the decision unless you're nameam Stevenen McLan, who the week before Weirdly went against Akin who called them over because there was an incident involving Motherwell and Heart. You know the island as well almost the exact same spot. where Kaeridas went in. Yeah when is when Sam Nicholson started playing volleyball in the box, you know one thing that's been lost in everything that happened didn about Ily got me nebled, didn't it? One thing that's been lost in all this. is that the panel come the KMI panel have comeatch incident panel. They've come out and said it was a penalty to hearts Crect. And it Steven McClean made a bad decision. And I think you find that David McKennis was satisfied that while he Cam also agreed with his stance on the matter. Yeah And here's again, I want to make another point. about this is that football managers across the country judged on how they run their football club and how they set up their players. And I called for the second of Willie Coum earlier in the week. And the reason I called for the second of Willie Coum is because he's in charge of the referees and he has been for two years. I've yet to see any improvement in the referees and with the VA officials He is responsible for them And he's not doing a good job And the same with a football manager gets pulled up and will lose his job if his team doesn't perform Willie Coham is not doing a good job This is not a criticism of John Beaton or Stehen McCan or any other referees in this country all comes down to the man himself at the top of the tree and at the top of the tree is Willie Collum and he's done a really, really poor job in the two years that he's been ad jred. That's why I'm questioning him And that's why I think he should be sacked and we need to start again because it ain't working. And I agree with you two. I think there needs to be something done in regards to that show that he puts on in every couple of weeks Will The Willie S showow. And the reason I have an issue with the Willie Show And this it's very scripted. There's no doubt about it. It's very scripted Colul and Gordon Duncan, who I've got the utmost respect for. He's excellent. He's excellent. but there's no push backack There's no pushback on Willie Collin with some of those decisions They just go through bullet points And Willie Coolum I would have a lot more respect for him if he was sat there next to Ronnie Charters and was having a debate about it and was getting properly questioned, but he doesn't put himself in front of the media. Why doesn't he put himself in front of the media? But then I would say like just just because you know you didn't feel full we could be for half an hour talking about this and we'd still not come to any conclusion His boss won't talk to us. Neil Doncaster, Ian Maxwelle will never sit there and speak to us so why should Willy call If he if if the example is set by them, Why should he be sat in front of us every week when you' D'caster won? He Maxwell doesn't interview Now and again, Lyd. but I Ian Maxfell for his position it will be up' in front in the media. A good number of times a year. Three times a season or more than not definitely it does You you seeen M that. Ronnie Definitely.'m I'm going to ask you becauseuse you work in the media in the media. Yeah Right, you work in the media You'd have to deal with the SFA, you have to deal with the SPFL, you need to deal with the chief executives and chairers. You need to deal with me in a Monday morning Why does why does why does Willie Coleam Refuse. I don't have an answer I'd love to know. It's my biggest critique I actually don't think he should be sacked. I don't think he's But why is he not why would he sit there next see have wouldn't sit. He wouldn't s there because he wouldn't entertain you because getting on You want the man to be sacked. Wh would he be standing in front of you He's not gonna to himself not going to apologize. But the thing I know you Okaykay forget me, why would he sit in front of you might the main boggles Because my issue with the varsial is It's scripted, and there's not only even that There's no push back I just don't think it's helping. I've now flipped what I thought, The geniie is out the bottle. you can't not do it again. like you can't scrap it because people then think you're hiding something. I think you just I think you have to sccap it. I don't think it it does their effies We're in a really horrible climate that are some right nasty bastards out there as we saw this week. Yeah, yeah totally. I don't think by releasing audio and going through why the referees have done right and wrong, I don't think that works. And I don't the lack of transparency, you lose, I get that Willie I don't think it's a good look that Willie Collum basically just goes through what the referees have done and what they've done right to an extent as well You going you' going to tell me if they've released the Var audio of Andrew Dallas and John Beaten from Wednesday night that this is going going to cal down and people are going to go, well, that at least they were transparent. It's going to be worse. I won't talk I genuinely feel it's better for a game if that if The vasha was sccaped here. But then what I would say and I agree with you Is it Willy Colum then just can't disappear and hide? No mean So you lose the transparency because he doesn't go through there. But then because of that, he has to then speak to the media. H. I think I would hope that you would speak to me There's been too much this season. It needs to be what I would describe as an informal conversation like what we do here. Yeah. and have that conversation where it comes across as genuine Natural. and not scripted. When you watch that Var show They know the questions, they know what their answers are. Ething is out their own clips. And it's very like done in a bullet point type of way. Whereas if you watch the English version of it With Howard Web Web And Michael Oen, for example, is very much a conversation. And there's pushback from Michael Owen, whether you like him or nos irrelevant. But at least there's pushback and he will push Howard Webb O hold on a wee second or hold on this or wait, wait, wait. don' I don't believe that or what? We don't get that in Scotland And that's where I think the issue is, if you're going to continue with thevarial can't be scripted. it can't be conversation without pushback. But then I do I think that Gordon Duncan would love to push back on it? Yeah. I don't think he's allowed to I think we' heading towards a really, really bad place but I genuinely think we're heading to was another refleing strike. He had to have Protection. That is home. It's awful We have feel We are through the looking glass. It's done for me, that's the line that we have crossed as a nation. But the problem with that, Ronnie. And I've got an issue with this Is that this has been going on since twenty nineteen when Individuals in Scottish football who work in Scottish football. They themselves have hinted about their possible allegiiances to Rangers They we all know the brother and stuff and. This has been going since two thousand ninety. this isn't new. it's you mean prominent people in the media. I think P prominent people in the media you're in a worse place though than that the socialia No Ronnie, held us. No, no, but Ronnie, what was sayene is We will never escape. This shit and this ph until People who are in big positions withinot the Scottish football media keep their most have to keep their mou shut and stop playing to the gallery, right And the reason that they play to the gallery is because they want to stay on the right side and be seen and also to continue to get the paychecks that they get when they turn up to these little dinners or their little get togethers or their little fans and events that they have They can't go against the grain They can because they're protecting themselves This has been going on for years and years and years. This is just not an incident that happened on Saturday. And what happened onur over the course of the last week? is a disgrace. It's shocking, it's embarrassing However There aret individuals out there who will cross that lane and they will be dealt with But that's not the entire support. You can't castigate an entire support because of the actions of a few However, people in responsible positions need to be better. Now I was getting criticism for my criticism of John B N. of Andrew Darless McLan Steven McClean of Willie Coum. But I was offering an opinion on the state and the standards of our referees. I no wit, hold on because at no point have I ever pedled a conspiracy and at no point have I question a referee' integrity because I think that is bang out of order. However, people out there who know who they are, and they know what they've done And they are to blame They started dis offve and it's carried on and it's carried on and it's carried on. And I feel Sorry for John Beaton for what he has been through. When like a football manager or a player runon, you yourself you put yourself up there to be shot at. should do. Right. And the criticism comes your way. I think every referee knows, I'm going to get criticism ' going to get criticized for decisions that I make, whether you like it or not They know that. What they don't need is for individuals or for fans to question their integrity That is bang out of order. And see when you set that ball in motion You're never escaping up You're never escaping it. And I think that there needs to be somethingomething quite dramatic something quite dramatic needs to happen. And you know what? I would support that refereess going on strike. They've got every right to go on strike. I think we' we've there's a point where we've cross the line. I don know I don't know how we get back from that Next season is going to be Why would you want a referee gave him the top flight? Yeah. Becauseuse it's also worth remembering that for as awful as it was that he got police protection the other night, he doesn't get it for the rest of his life and people now know when he lives. And he has to live with that That's herrific. Well,, so we've done the eff for each chat. We'll move on because you know The people want to see you and cry basically with their hearts result. We get to Saturday We get to the Sawdown event Celtic versus Hearts. G see before you do that, did you think there was a penalty on Wednesday night? No, absolutely not. No chance. Okay I and this is I can't tell Eort's handanall No one can. Yeah. I've seen Celtic funds On one side and wled football on the other. See, it's yes and it's no And I genuinely can't decide either way And that's the issue is that And of if you can't give it. Andrew Allallas thinks that John Beaton has missed a serious incident I don't know how you can be sure he has. Yeah. So that was yeah. And worth mention I was in Tyncastle after the game. I went from the Tycastle Arms to the stadium for the post match. every journalist media officer. It it's the busiest that I've ever seen the Twncastle press room Everyone was just speechless, genuinely speechless watching it going T begins with reach No' the big man, right A you were there was there? Right to the two Mullywell fans who were in front of me who where Golding me, it's fair to say when Motherwell were in front and a When they went too each, they came they turned r and iving up Oh, D they give me a. Fun enough I couldn't catch the night a full time they did. It disappeared up a bit. You know who you are, get it right up here be anous I did see his post match on thecasions's ever had in his career. Yeah Did you speak him afterwards? I I, Filin normally comes and shakes everyone's hand How are y'all? Be we now know them to an extent. Yeah. and the press officers at Motherwell are fantastic as well. So we've always got a good rapport Straight down P off, head down, straight sat down Let's go Miss Yeah. That was Wednesdayight so That was Wednesday night and it set up an almighty showhdown. I arguably I think one of the biggest matches this country's ever seen Mhm The build up was sensational or we had that Journalist from around the world in that press box, I've never seen it like it Celtic versus Harts Atmosphere incredible. Harts fans fir playated them As much as they could, seven hundred of them try to make as much noise as they could and the What unfolded was N minutes of just madness Kitten summ up the season I I thought Celtic struggled. I thought heart Dredit Mcinnis had a game plan sorted perfectly. So I was going ask that between the two you teams come out. both? Well, I think Ronnie heard me, I actually I could understand it. S before the game kicked off, I was on the radio And I did say I can understand why he's went with Kabori because of the physicality and Celtic aren't as physical as hearts are. And he's caused skales and trusty problems before, hasn't? He has Y. up until we scored the goal The tactics worked on absolute sweet hearts were very, very good. Celtic could not break them down. No. And the balls down the channels and into Kabori were causing trusty and skills all manner of problems And it was working to an absolute treat. So I understood it before the game kicked off and Dell was proved correct be a bit c a bit braggg No. didid you understand? I don't say it because I think the hearts signinds all agree with me here and we were talking about it we're in the corn exchange. Braga hasn't really kicked a ball in the split And he has been substituted in quite a few games as well. It's not been as effective as he has been. So I wasn't surprised by it I think the problem that Harts had on Saturday was it we picked up cou of key injuries before the final day of the season with Leonnard and Halk it out And also you could tell that Mil wasn't one hundred percent. Cammy Devlin, how does he run about for ninety seven minutes? Because the boy was not one hundred percent fit and then you lose Beningami And once we lost Beningame, we did the hearts fans in the corn exchange, we felt The worst Wered the worst I it was easy to say in hindsight, but that was the nail in the coffin. What about you Celtic team comes out. picks of self theseays Px itself am for staff They just fair playate it McKinis, he just left Ain trusty on the ball. A No one pressed them. notot a single The minute of Celtic it was so so frustrating from the Celtic point of view of they can do nothing They go man for man with everybody. They leave trusted by himself had no Gineally there were three or four occasions where he stood on the ball for a good five seconds. And that's such a long time when you think of that in football and they were like right where you going do They had no answers. they get the painal I think against on the play For all the talk of referees, I think Don Robertson was brilliant mus. you know, I cannot calm head. I cannot criticize Don Robertson. I thought the boy was outstanding on the day. He He was superb and Willy Collins should have phoned. I hope he phoned them up and congratulated them because we're not talking about Don Roberts and we will in regards to what happened at full time in a second. But in the sense of the game guy and his assists apart from the boy Bots flag up for M Iida be outside and we're of also Swallow of nearly saves it as well ' right underne pure penalty. Yeah. It's a pure penalty. He guessed right straight away I was a nervous painaway Because Ingelless was very good at penalties, but that was a nervey penalty. We go one each. the decision for the penalty? B in agreement. everyoneal. I was there with thousands of heart signs in a cororeign exchange and nobody but nobody was like, that's never a penalty. Everyone knew was a penalty. There was no criticism of the penalty. It was a penalty. Ifart survived till halftim, I think they win the league We said that again at halftime. We just needed to wait another minute because what would have happened? The Celtic players go off the pitch to booze around Celtic Parkad was bouncing. Yeah, but it was bouncing. That was a difference. that one minute before halftime. We shouldn't forget Tal us to the moment when you go one nill up in the corn exchange. what's it like oe. Even th thinking about it that feeling it was For me in Scottish football, even even winning the Scottish Cup when we did against Hibbs It was a thumping So It was a great win But you're going to the home of the Champions with a chance to win the league for the first time in sixty six years We've been great in that first half And then the corner comes in from Kingsley and you're watching it as slow motion You're watching it going towards the bike post and you just in a sal And then you can see shank like you you're like hat and you're on your tippy toes and then you're Bang itent One of the best feelings I've ever had in football be anything that happened with Scotland in recent times. Honestly, it's the best feeling I have ever had. There were grown men around me in tears when Shanklin scores that goal And they're probably more yearsars later as well. It will to come folks.el to come. It was phenomenal that feeling. I think it's unrealed. We get getting at the seconds half and I think Yeah, you lose but I't give me And He had to make a change As soon as as soon as Celtic in actually one at half time. Mechanist waited about a minute to see how Celtics set up and immediately changed that You lose beningami. Things get a bit desperate we Celtic it becomeset just by any means necessary They go into the back three They bring on Marcel Sarac He was just a mad man. It was a roadrunner. Oh my He was played everywhere. You bring on calim Osmment. You're playing you're playing full backs in center half positions. It's it's for Celtic it's all over the place. But it's a signal of Martin Neil That's threety five two. One of one of them travels gotten to Sell. And that's the formation that gets them over the line He said it to us afterward was, there's something of a fairy tale about this club where it just clicks The goal. I've never seen a place go quiet so quickly when that flag goes up. The hospitality boxes behind us have got aller only beed pl The That's the first So there's hush, there's nothing. and then You hear the banging on the window from those who know And then one of my colleagues from the BBC Wh's doing the commentary, who they're sitting right in front of the Celtic. He goes H I shouldn't have had that of J lastning. He goes Our studio are saying it's a goal and the whole front row of the Celtic fans go mental I went to Dorn Robbertson That's the var moment to end all Var moments I mean has and then the goal I've never seen Parkhead react like that. I've never seen that. There's been a lot of chat. around Celtic Winers this League that' just another title. And I can understand to a point why there's a lot of people saying that in football. It's just another title for Celtic But they have not won a title like that for the years going down to the final day of the season can understand why it meant so much to the Celtic supportort to Martin ONeil and the players because they've been shpe for much of the season And if it's not for Martin and Neil, they don't win the league. We know that. We all know that. the world knows that. Martin and' Neil wins them that league and they should build him a statue outside Slet Park. I'm actually surprised there isn't already for what he achieved and the notughties with that team And I think that Celtic On the day deserve to win the game. I thought hearts were outstanding, got their tactics right. Ts the end, they didn't know whether to stick or twist. They didn't know whether to sit off Celtic and soak up the pressure or they didn't know whether to press them There were a couple of moments at one one where Braga was one on one with had a defender, had Chesnikov who got to the by leg cut it back it was cut for a corner with some real interesting moments where with the chance to maybe go to one up certain breaks of the ball that went our way and you're thinking, o, could we get a second year? because Celtic as I said, And before the game that at some point they're just going to throw everything at it. with nothing when you've got nothing to lose, you just throw everything at it. It'ss it's it was it was one of those games where it could have flipped either way Dpending on the break of the ball and fair play Osmond That's a brilliant run from him T by like and the cutback T Maedo who again The last in every goal of this play E last like seven games. The guy has turned up about a month ago We were all talking here on the show, who has been the flop of the season? And at that point wait you're laughing. But at that point he was from what he hadd achieved the year before. I agree. It's just funny how time. I know, but from what he achieved last season to where he was a month ago He was just not on fire. you probably watched a podcast. I I'm gonna to show that f thingah He chose to score in the eighty sixth minute. I mean, what the? I mean, are you all but kidding me on? I mean And then it goorees in eighty six a minute. It's sp at eighty six. And then so my only criticism, so Celtic go to and up And then Celtic, you can tell, panic. Oh, muddy But theyre just come on straight away. But they're panicking. whenever they get the ball, they're just kicking it. they don't know what to hundred percent. They're panicking. They're all over the place and hearts are getting corners, they're getting free kicks and And then the her schoolkeeper goes up all you want Blair Spitittle to do Who has a brilliant delivery has aliverying hearts playred of the split as well. He's been excellent. Just miss the front man. Get all you have to do. Get it to the back post. Didn't he get it pi five foot nutting Marcellos. justust don't hit the front man. just get into the back post, get into the mix up. You don't know what can happen when ahead or get a penalty, whatever. You don't know what's going to happen. he doesn't get past the front man for the Celtic defense in the last seconds of the game And then mind goes up. I talk about a fairy tale for that guy who's out for six months played about a hundred minutes of football and assist in an old fun game, score the w one in an old fun game and then just scored the goal that win out to the league. And hold on a minute notot just scored the winner, but also said set up a goal and assist Yeah the final day What was it like when you're all watching him run through That's a dis because the great video from the Tiny Ams poxet. The old pocket. They all walk. This is a thing, right I've seen that video of the Tiny Ams of when I mean, Kal Bman has' put the b on the back in it and Hart's fans are walking it. J just in case the Blazm puts his flag up again What happened at the corn exchange It was just silence Nopeie was leaving Honestly, nobody was leaving. They were just stood there watching. there was just silence. And then also Bedam is a found d I own at the petch And then the Harts fans started to leave the corn exchange quietly. So I didn't see much of the bedlp. I didn't really see much of what had happened at the full time whistle. but we all just walked out within a minute of Celtic scoreding the third goal because that was it. But there was no booing or no apathy, no anger. No A apathy, no anger ts a lot of tears outside, I mean outside the corn exchange it was a lot of heart sounds were in a state of shock. I mean I'm going to be honest with you them. I was I was very emotional Keith who we we were ST good guy Like watch the podcast, big fun who works at STV, I bumped into him inside the corn exchange with his family And I was outsidees and I was gone and then he came over and the last thing the last thing you want When you're canulate in your own little world when you're upset and you're upset, it's for somebody to tap you on the shoulder and give you a hug And I was gone I was gone in his shoulder It was because what it Be such an emotional roller coaster. Following Hearts this season and to get that close. and there was a guy who was I'd say and he mit late seventies their w grandkids And I think it was his son who was who had met earlier And then I saw him again at the full time whistle. And that just made me even worse. because he was upset And that' I said to him when we were talking beforehand. He was saying I might never see this again Be of his age and everything. So when I saw him at the full time whistles, I was crying at the shoulder of Keith and I saw him with his grandkids are Heartbreaking. absolutely heartbreaking. And then u The Harts fans did what they did and we all marched into to Towncastle, proud of our club, proud of our team and we wait for the team to arrive. and there was loads of tears And there's nothing to be ashamed about.ave I was asked that, haveave you ever kind of felt emotion like that in sport? The only time I got really upset was when Scotland lost to Italy Do you remember that day Pinicci was it? Yeah, we'd beat in France home in away. Look at Tony. Look at Tony. accident she throwown was Yeahony. I got real emotional that day Apart from that, no that was Oviously been on Be in Gorgay in nineteen eighty six with my brother was emotional because they' waiting to te me come back, bos. So we know we'll know what happed. So maybe three or four times in my life, have I got that emotional and upset And I think it was just because We just felt it could be our day and something that we could that we could share with our families, share with our fans. It was just but it wasn't meant to be. And I think the moreal senseor real time whistle, And I think it's a mortal that we need to takeership of ownership off and I notice because the read is also posted out on social media It's only the beginning. And that's the way we've got to look at it and hopefully inspires hearts to one better next season takeake that feeling Take that. appppointment is fuel for a positive and hit the ground running for the start of the new campaign. Do you think Tony Blo's just going e? I know, but here's my one caveat to you how you are never going to get a season where Celtic and Rangers have been as bad as they are. neverever again at the exact same moment Celtic and Rangers make their worst ever managerial appointments in their history and you still don't get it over the line with that. I get you'll now be more competitive all the time air play Tony Bloom will spend good for him he should. He's got a vision and he's got one of the greatest Scottish managers that is at the helelm. This was the chance for me donon't get me wrong. I agree. I think this was the big chance But hearts are not going anywhere, Ronnie. do think that your liakes are your Aberines I'm not so sure that Stephen Rominson can get Aberdeen to where they would like to be Th you've got Hebs My mother will have shown this season as well. And what I would like to think is that clubs in the Scottish Premiership will take inspiration from ap part all the world It's all great doing the pat and weld done everybody and let's sinkum by and run the fiber, how good we are. use in the end This was your chance. But But you don't know that Yeahet. No, let's see. I know that. I know and listen for making predictions that didn't come true. We'll get on to yields in a minute they willll never be as bad as the Celtic Rangers. won' They just won't Celtic have lost eight games. in this league and still one it. ranges lost six the same amount of hearts. The Rangers drew twelve matches out of thirty eight I'm not saying that the hearts will go anywhere I'm saying this was your chance. I will tell R. Well it was time because as we were about to go on to Wild predictions in this podcast go far and wide. See before we get to predictions, I think it would be we should talk about the fuull time. We should talk about the full time and those curars, those band ports, those fruit loops that r ono the pitch And I didn't knowice at time because ofviously I'd left the corn exchange and I didn't really see much of the fallout because you don't want to be watching it back. I haven't seen much of anything since Saturday, but I'm aware of of what happened. I didn't see any the incidents. Nor did Martin Nniels, so you're fine. Yeah. I've seen some clips here and there And fair pl the Celtic support, the majority of the Celtic support, who boouds Now you were there. Yeah who booed the bampports from running on at the pitch That just ruined the moment for everybody, not just for the hearts players and the hearts management team and the hearts fans that were in in Celtic Park, it ruined the moment for Celtic as a football club. I think so, yeah. I think there was a it tarnish what was a brilliant season and a brilliant day for sale tech To an extent it tarnished it because it didn't get tarnished it fully, I think No it did. they still lifted the to still But it tarned the ending because a lot of people were talking about that. That was That was lately. That was the headlines on the news.' be leading this the newews at six tight if you watch it. Correct. And would it be BBC or CNN or Sky. It wasn't with Celtic when the Lagers the fans running aroundnt the pitch, which tarnishes what was a great day for Celticon win in the league and the heartbreak that Harts went through So those idiots Do not represent the Celtic fan base. they can't be allowed to represent the Celtics fase. I've always defended the majority over the minority. However, what I would say about this? is on march the eighth, Rangers played Celtic in the Scottish Cup And there's been an investigation going on at the SFA about what went wrong there and what might occur from that We're still waiting. We are still waiting for the result of that investigation. Now had they the SFA because it's their tournament, the Scottch Cup had come out can handed it a punishment or come out and cast it where wherever it is that they find. That might not have happened That might not have happened Be the SFA are dragging their heels over this. Wh? I have no idea. didn So the SPFL are in discussions with the Scottish goverment to try and solve this because it's becoming the norm. My point is is that the SFA have they come out? How is it takaking them so long to come out with a decision and also to not criticize It's not the atournament in terms of the leak what I'm saying is had they shown the way. My point is had they shown the way and come out Listen, and dealt with that N A It would put fans off yes should be or a club. There's a lot of v criminal charges against people live live active cases that you have to be resolved f People still going through the courts because of that. There are toed. is't it? how many times has this happened? I know, but I also get the point. It also happen on Wednesday night? No, I know. butark. You need the police investigations to conclude first before you can chime in. Thats That takes precedence me can I make a quick point, right Be I think it's important it's obviously this isn't a Celtic problem or a rangers problem. this is a football in Scotland problem. This time last season, Dundee United fans stormed a pitch when we beat Aberdeen right. I was at the game. I wasn't on the pitch. And an Aberdeen fan or someone in the Aberdeen end throws a bit of a chair that he's broken off and it hits Jack Mcenzie Oh shocker. Yeah I remember it There was Everything that you want from the investigation on the eighth. that you've not got yet happened for that game. There was criminal charges. That person was lambasted. there was statements. didn't change anything. points deduction. That willll change it. We need a law change. We don't need the SFA to come out and condemn folk and put them in jail. We need a law change becausecause with the greatest of respect in the world, right? they're going to go to the government. They make it a criminal offence. to try and deter people Dorma a steward The Stewards aren't at Celtic Park anywhere else are paid nowhere near enough to deal with that to deal with that. And they're not why would you why would you stand in the way of Menory Ballylavers or whatever it is trying to run in a pitch? No chance. Points seduction You don' runt let the pitch, delay the game Your team gets deducted points Trust me, they'll stay the stands then But that's up to N Don Cast to show the leadership to do It's a massive problem and it's only going to go and get worse because it hasn't been dealt with yet. That was my point If the SA had dealt with it, had they dealt with it? I think it ss a message right. Okay, I understand. next season, I think it should hopefully it will be because because it's up to in the summer, it's up to the leadership of game to sort it. Yeah, because it feels like the fans who continue to do this, feel there's no punishment around the corner for it that. Yeah They they also lose out. The Hearts fans at that stadium want to applaud their players and show their support. and you canany do it. It's rubbish. It is. and something dramatic needs to happen from stopping that from happening again It was it was it was embarrassing and I felt sorry for Celtic in their support Idiots once again have gone on to the pitch to confront Hars players You've just won the leag Why are you confrontting the hars players Why you're running up your cameras To shove them in the faces of Lauren Shanklin and Frankie Kent, Why are you doing that And you're running on the pitch carrying a child to confront Laurence Shanklland What kind of examplple is that? Y, S. It's pathetic. I think it's pathetic. And the thing is becausecause the cameras nowadays High definition. you'll be able to identify some of those fans Get them up, get them and to beiceltic. Celtic statement yesterday very much was of that k, they don't represent our club We apologize to hearts. I also want to make another point here. And you'll think this is me just having a go at Celtic and it's not Parts get a last minute winner against Hibbs at Easter Road in front of our fans. Did any fan go into the pitch I don't know what point youre try to make there Football fans didid any fan Football fans in Scotland have storm pitches? It's not I'm just fans are dangerous. No football no support is what you trying to say? trying to get that. The hearts fans are bit uncltty fans. Wait a second There have been numerous occasions In recent times and this season where there have been last minute goals Last minute winners in heightened games where nobody has come on in the pitch What happened on march the eighth And because it's not been dealt with Everyone just thinks it's a free for all. They do. It was happening before then. I'm talking about since March eighth the most high profile widespread incident that made world headlines hasn't been dealt with Right. That was do That was then given permission to the idiots to continue to run on the pitch. like what happened at Fur Park and then what happened at Celtic Park. What I'm saying to you is because certain incidents haven't been dealt with yet, right has caused the issue. that then he right. So I'm going to move on. No. And what I'm saying is there have been many incidents in recent weeks where there hasn't been one hearts fan in high emotional games haven't run on to the pitch. Right. The pitch is no place for a fan to be. I don't get your point without hearts f can you don't get it. That's fine. dont I agree with your oververging point that the pitch is no place for fans, but hearts fans aren't better than Celtic fans. Motherwell fans aren't better than fans Every support has the worst You are missing my point Make it call clearly becausecause we don't understand what you're trying to say. Be Nothing has yetet happened. Yeah march the eighth. But what is that? were Harts fans not grow on the pitch and Celt fanss grow in the pitch Be Montro's fans have' been on the pitch this year. There you go. Are we just gonna r a point is this? The Celtic fans think they can and they're allowed to do because nothing has happened since march the eighth. Well, when they ran on to the pedoldon cast well have the right to do it all that's my point. So that's my point Ca my point on moving on C know I can get away with it. And Celtic once again are champions of Scotland If you look back at Celtics, I mean, let's get to First of all, the Celtic social media admin Can I just Jude, do you have an email address for them? Can I just, ladies and gentlemen? Do you have an email address for them? I'll phone them there 'ause I need know who, I need names a million views. I need names on Twitter alone. fromr the official Salletic account live in Germany they will not win the league. They're not winning the league. they're awful. H Rie Well done to Celtic for that. I mean, I would have done the same. Oh, I would have done the same. You and I were standing at the car park at Celtic and I I felt like a kid at Christmas And I was standing myself. I had no one to talk to, I had' know one what to I need to ford to callum. I wasn't going told you at that point. It's fair to say this podcast has been cut up A million times. Instagram Fotter Both of you. Both of you Are you going to resign from the podcast before we go into fil? I've had a lot of people asking because you did say If feltic when this league I' resigning becausecause we took the sped of eighty six You Cameron, are you staying on the podcast for next season Yeah, becausecause we're winning theague next year Okay Has someone checked on weekend or just? Is he alright? And is this He was outside Town Castle waiting the team arriving? Oh, was he? He was getting pictures taken all the fans and everything. He was in good for. You cant put him in cool stories until August. Celtic are not winning this league. It's been everywhere and then you go I you can finish in fourth Well the worst of them all I've got way Scott free I've said Harts w the L legueal season. Je it's amazing. In that same video where I say they're finishing fourth, you go to Ronnie O still are going to be champions and you go, Oh God no. Any nag is g I assulted. The thing is There's clips doing the rounds of My good friend Chris Sutton saying that Celtic are awful and it was after the game against Dunday United when you beat them too no to and that Celtic we werere not going to win the league because they hadn't beaten Rangers or heartse up to that point He's got away with a Scot free. the no tweet in his? No, No, no. justust to give you a sense of it, right? I'm watching the father of the bride' speech at the wedding My phone's gone mental and it's Ronnys Chars and wont leave alone and I don't know why Ill look up and it's the tweet The tweet And I lost in my mind I would have done the same? Oh. Jan f it shows them they've got we better a sense of humor Yeah, they're having a bit m. It's not just that, you see when you it's How noticed it's become because all the Celtic players From past and present and underneath it. Yeah. We're basically saying get it right up here. B toam Tvanura. and like. George I ask Incredible. I okay. I know I'm'm calistic. I know Who is this fud sick? cistic Oh my dude. And listen, let' can we just discuss Martin the New very quickly because I admred him. I don't think a seventy four year old man should go through that level of stress He's an icon. He's a legend. I've got nothing but respect for him. He is one of my favorite people that I've ever dealt with in Scottish football. He's human Yeah, he's helped that club off the ground, notot just to the club Somet I get asked a question a lot havingt worked in football and having done media conferences and met loads of people in my time Who are the people that you've got the most respect for and who did you like I always say Walter Smith and Martin Neil, they're always the two. and that will always remain the two for me. Jonnie Chers and Callumill No. and Den Mcinn is not up there for me. however, I've not dealt with De McKinis. I'm talking about people that I've dealt with and who I've interviewed over the years and Alx McCleishe was great as well. and also got as you know, I've got a lot of time for Neil Lenny as well my favorites as well. But when it comes to The leegends and icons who I have the utmost respect for Martin O'Neil and Walter Smith And and I'm genuine surprised that there isn't statue of Martin Neil. I think you might Celt it Park. I think there'll be there'll be news of some sort of commemorative Yeah. put it that way. There has have heard a couple of things, but it might not be a statue Maybe something. They need something. If Mart if Mart theew if Demon Desmond had Pookmart and anyone. and not gone down the Wilford D down street. We were sitting in Sl to could have won a tble P probablybably would have won a tble. then he will sell to with a beatenmanonro Y But we said I time and This doesn't go with the final day. This is done the full split if it's M. The man has he has a medical worker. They call him Staint Martin and they think he's like all that sort of stuff He has sered this club through it's most H moiled. We had a civil war We had Every single board member with a stop sign through their face Hearts threw everything at them. Rangers spent forty million quid to try and get them. and they still sit here as champions. I deserved it I cannot put my finger on whyy that's happenmed But it's Mart Ne Martin Ne. It Mart, as I said at the top of the show Celtic do not win the league. Martin O'Neil won the league There is reason why not going link Callum McGregor, James Forrest ier Karen Tierney. I would even put Lke McKowan, who as a grown up Celtic fan knows what it means You can't buy that? No forty million cord doesn'tgate you that. Jamestown Analytics doesn'tgate you that. There are some nearly dead it's And this is the thing. I think this is Celtic at their weakest This is my point I'm going to make to you I've already had someomeone who I was speaking to saying the ready go They know the top a red eagle What I would say about Celtic and Martin O'Neill is this They will be making decisions in not too distant future but their new manager Even if they want Martin O'Neill to be that manager, he has to say no Do not spoil what you've just done. just in case, just in case. Do know he's never He needs to walk away now. He's done. He's needed to do A hundred of times, right? He's not going to do it. He can't do it. He's never one one hundred percent said no. he can''s al he's tiptoed up to the line. is never crossed because said The reason he's got to say no. See after the Dundee Unite defeat A lot of people, including all of us here Th that was it for Celtic. There's no chance they can win the league. when they got to split they'd be found out, except all that chat And there was a lot of Celtic fans who were critical of Martin O'Neill and they' made a mistake in bringing him back That would turn quite quickly if it doesn't work out under Martin'Neil, should he stay on his manager If I'm him leeave at the very top with your legendary status intact because you don't want to be Martinine Neil going to the Champions LeagQ qualifies and possibly not making it because they're really difficult to navigate. If you don't make the Champions League the Celtic fans are on your back. If you get off to a poor start, the Celtic fans will be on your back You're a seventy four year old man who has come back and you've worked the miracle Leave held your head held high and do not and under any circumstances, ruin what you've achieved. That's You've done it. Go back to Tks Sport and sit there with Simon Jordan and just laugh in his face whenever he criticizes hisselfic. He'll bit ye I don't I don't think he' would be the seeltic manager. He can be. I know the gpment process is very much now well and truly ramped up after But you still he can still win the double. He still got scores Every channel. What do you know? about what the seeltic idea is when it comes to the manager. What's what's their thinking Are they going to go with someone with experience? or they going to go someone like Robbie Keane who's kind of just through the door the more I speak, the more I hear The less I maybe think that it's going to be Jen's who's the current bookie's favorite to take over There was talk last week of him going to is a possibility. I think that that might just be the good old sort of Jedi main trriickx of the people around to try and get his name out there that he's a manager that's in demand demand Yeah. And if if Celtic want to make their move for him, they better be quick. So I think that's the dark arts of of football that play You think you asked me would unlikely. If you ask me to put my mortgage on it right now And I had to pick someone think that Robby Kin is in lane againes. Okay. And is that the Robby Keeen Scott Brown combination? that's rumor No no, no, no, that's nothing It's not a thing. You know, you've heard that. Yeahah yeah. It was only because Scott Brown went over to see him. Yeah. He had to do that for his license, for his pro license. Not to say it wouldn't happen They need to get this one right. They need to get this one done early. They' have got a champ. they've got to navigate the Champions League. My question Rob be keen Has he got sufficient enough experience enough to take the job on complepletely That would be my only question Is Roberta Martin is not an opportunity or a chance because he's worked with Sean Maloney Belgium didid they not work together also at Portugal up before he or shows you how big our podcast is because we were discussing this and again on Saturday being to someone at Parkhead and they said What you said on the podcast isn't exactly true We said that probably if Martinez who's with Portugal,, will go deep into the competition He's not going to arrive in Glasgow if he's appointed tntill at least the middle of July Wh correct But he said, Haha, That's correct. But Maloneoney's there now So the would be is assistant. the work would be already underway. undernderway. Yeah. But I just don't know if you can you really have Martines turning up in the middle of July when your Champions LeagueQalifers in a month? then I think to you said earlier, you know that the weakest Celtic and Rangers will probably be. I think proves the opposite Danny Rule is definitely going to be in charge of interest next season, at least for the start of it Celtic's manager appointment you said it yourself, they have to get it right. but the last couple, they haven't. The problem that Celtic have got as well, and we talked about us three or four weeks ago about the rebuild that they've got in summer, which is going to be huge. massive. Egel's will go, Maida's gone, Hatati' nowhere to be seen. He'll be gone as well There'll be a number of other players' go one the players will leave a manager needs in the door when that final whistle blows in a Scottish Cup final. But the point I was going to make Rony is it's going to be difficult for Celtic to make those signers during a worldorld Cup because there might be players playing at that Wld Cup that they want to sign And there's an impact as well that Teams are not willing to negotiate and agents are it's difficult to because another thing is that their stock is higher if they have a good worldorld Cup So they'll be holding off for better offers possibly because Pth Jonson has a good world Cup. He could go for tw twentyel million Again, he's been a revelation since he come back. Do you not think it is I meant to say this earlier? A slide indoors moment th So might mind went made I got injured at the full time. What game was that? Hibbs maybe? Yeah. And we all thought if he's God, that's it plays the next week in the old Fm game. Wait is Kalket and Lannard. Butingam me. Yeah It just feels like kind of switched on that moment. I did, I agree with you I think Celtic have got a big summmer ahead of them, which is why sure that hearts will be there or theres about because I think Celtic You't a new manager. They've got a massive rebuilding in the summer. You've got to get that team gelled and playing in a style, the pressures that come with being at Celtic. There's a lot of that can be done. can be done. There's a lot of wands beic can do that during the pandemic. It can be done. And it took him seven eight games Dtely. Yeah, completely I don't know if you I don't know if you get away with it If it takes you seven eight, nine, ten games. If you end up with Anpostic cogoa Celtic, I think you will. It's going to be an interesting summer for Celtic more so Celtic than it will be for Hearts and Rangers because they've got a new manager and a new team to build It's It's going to be The most important summer. I agree for a long, long, long For years. And I think McGregor's goingone as well, which is your talenttum I asked them, I think He has to leave now. No.'s nowhere near he's nowhere near the place I was. That question was one of questioned Cless timames. If you think I'm not committed to this if you watched me today and think I'm not committed to club, then you're off your nut. And and I believe them. I think that point. I believe them. I think his best days are goingone I'm MacDregor, literally just did Celtic to play. I don't think he's player was. and I think Celtic I found him I'm walking away as well and moving somewhere else Anyway and I still can't believe we're sitting here with Celtic' Champions You I Sot in it. Be sonic He sorry fast if it went't for Dundy United you' beaten heart a beaten cell ticket. Tanadice, I don't think this happens we're an n in twenty can we end this You've still got a long way to go What we're talking about comeome back after the break folks and you'll find The STV radio foootball showh is brought to you by CRmith. Welcome back to the STV radio football Sh. The one thing I wanted to send a congratulatory message to because can and I will. It's My uncle, headgoes in a Celtic he J his What's going to be the year this year Well don't cray Well don't crazy, Cin him love So let's get to the rest of Run through the rest of the pictures this weekend. we have to. We'll do it quickly because I wanted to discuss Danny Rule. Motherwell hips huge game. Yeah. fiveive two one for Rangers. Andrew Kavangh came out yesterday, fully backed Danny Rule, he is the man to take rangers forward. It felt like you had a phone lying to Kavanu because you've been saying it for the last three weeks that I know that Danny Roll's not going anywhere. Folks, I'm actually quite good at this. My point is to that, one thing I will say is Danny Re Andrew Camver says Dany Rsemant, take us forward, right He's to go away to Hearts and sell to take the first round the fixtures in the first quarter of the season He's got tough Europeanameshe of him. He's got a big rebuild himself. they've Wh this f about qu Let's lie here the Ringous fs Well, nobody haven' have a feith' they startw They don't want them know exactly So if he has a bad start, then you're back to groundhold D. Well I think Andrew Kavan has done he speaks very eloquently a nice guy When he speaks Ring just fs listen They'll like them. and why wouldn't they The guys come in and revamp that club. So that's bu him a bit more time, I think The Rangers fans will say, well, if Andrew Kavangh thinks so, let's give him another chance. Let's reset and let's go again as one big unity But if you start the season how you ended it, You' know telling me that Andrew Kavanagh might know have to make a change if he's eight nine points behind Hearts of Celtic in Europe. D Dandrew Kavanagh not do an interview were Raman SE sport backing Russell Martin and it was three weeks later the Sctum Cpletely. And Patrick Stewart and Kevin Thairwell. They all backed Russell Martin. So three weeks later, he was at the door after the falkt I don't care And I have a lot of respect for the man. I don't care what Andrew Kavna says It'll be results that will determine if Andrew if that Dany Rill's going to be in charge.. nothing else. They've got a big summer ahead of them as well because that When you think of bottle jobs, of last leak you spend forty million quite You're the favoritees going into the split and you lose four games in a row Why would the Rangers fans no question, this man? How many points were they behind harps at the end E eight, ten behind Celtic So that's whole They were thir in mir. So in October there were thirteen behind hearts. Yeah And they've only five points have gained when the pressure was on They b it they crumbled. They crumbled. I this treatment of James Taverer I'm not comfortable with that. dont I don't like that I didn't like to eith And I think boy Whatever his deficiencies are in defence and he's not great in defence East He's well and I mean, he's made up for that and he's assisting his goals. But more. My issue with that is so needless. Yeah CV has entered right. and Guinely my thoughts on it would be See if he's hobling. And he says, listen, my whole family are here. I want to walk my kids out one last time I'd let him walk out and stubb them after the first minute just some Give them the give them the walk on. Yeah A and then give them the reaction really You've needlessly created a situation. And when Tavveniere tweets the statement and puts it on Instagram very telling how manyangers current rangers players have liked and commented messagage of support I think that's a bit of an experience from Danado. He's well loved and liked in that Ranger dress room as Jane have him here So the players within the dress room will have been hurting for him after what he's given to Rangers over many, many years I think it's a poor from diny Room. He's made a huge eror there And that will also go against them because the Rous fans won't forget that. It's piling up. It's piling up. And as you say, if he doesn't start well at the start at the new season then he's under huge pressure. I will also add I don't know this for a fact. in the tunnel at Tycastle when Rangers lost that game. He has shouting to his Chairman of the Club. You need to get new leaders And I think plate if I know that we all know how noise is Wait wait hold a second. Rangers lose two one to hearts. That game where had you thought you thought you had it all on your hands. So so in the tunnel at Towncastle Danny Rlls show and what shouting to his chairman of his club You need to get me leaders And I think again, if I know that, then the players know it And that's another huge error for me from Danny Roe. shouting that out in front of the other people. Iine know it. Yeah And I know it's true Cold Donalson was telling us that all in just plays were and watching the Celtic game at the end of the game as well fkt. or were they? Yeah. They didn't they get the bus, they just all sat and watched the game. They't you subs know that the Uniico raskanss not all watching the game. I watching the road team. During the game? During the actual game. the half timee. H halfime and So yeah Rangers need to spend again that that forty million quid and the issue being that forty million quid that's going to get completely Uutterly Lambasted Dani Rll every single time. They could have made up for like that the Chions League qualification straight away with win leag I think Pen Rice is joining them Thank Jes Ken Rice is jining this summer won the league with AK Athens Let's go through the fair plated fallkook. I mean, they struggled in the top six, but a fantastic season and' done to them Begw for Mother Will huge mount. Jens gets gets something of the season. deseredly sold. Absolutely. They're guaranteed European football if Celtic win the Scottish Cup, then H Berin will join them in Europe And Martin Boyle stays. Martin Boyle stays. I'm surprised he's been Very, very good. The James Taveniere celebration, though. I mean, thats shit hostly and it its fainest. Hh Enjoyed that And I did enjoy some of the videos of the Hs fans in Easter Road with mya scores. That was a bigger cheer than everything they got into Easter Road that day. Does David Gry stay? Yes. I think he stays. He stays for another But again, I think they've been lucky in a lot of games this season. It's this kind of point, right okay, Davy Come on no,ah. We were unlucky in some games. We played really well when we didn't get a result we deserved. if you can Switch that thenen it's a better season for them. because I think Abdina coming He under Stehen Normanense. Chatting to Allan Burles last night and there was the lovely guy I think there's They've got plans, Ret, reset and go again. and I think they'll join them. They'll join the top six next year and Let's see what happens. It was a three to defeat for playundy, they finish above Aberdeen U three points behind nearly over tooook his. I know. season for Stehen Presley. Yeah yeah. And it's nice of Stehen Presley now to have an actual preseason where I mean, I go get A lot of that score will be up top but sood for him. It deserves and he's bathed his team S Merin won done the United won S Merin obviously we'll discuss that playoff in just a wee second and it was Livingston won Komanak for def C again for Kanak to go and win the last four games of the season tells you everything you't know but where N MCan's taking that club. and I think they'll be If he can get them rocking, they'll bein top six shoots for next year as well. I like Neil McCn I don't think he keeps friendsly cuts though I think Rangers are dying for him to come back. NeomiCann has worked wonders there Good manager. Goodreat manager. Good man manager I thoughtought you was a wee bir of lane Did you see it with Marlie Wkins I think it was a weeb bit of a line there. I understand why he got wee bit upset and anger because it looked like Marlie Wilkins was a bit disrespectful when he went to when Neil McCan goes to shake his hand and then Walkers can like pushes past them. You know what need to be bigger than that. and not react the way they did and kind of like fall them back to the dugout. What it is though is there's only one boss at Rugby Park. Connct. I agree, that. But you could have dealt with that addressing and The season isn't over obviously. We have the Scottish Cup final to come, Celic versus Dunfamland and the playoff final The Fmland to one defeat at Fur Hill means it's Partic Thisistle who will contest the playoff final with St Murin We bit of revenge looking out for for the Scottish because that that Scottish Cup game was tight and controversial The penalty. S Mar and are not out of danger by any stretch of the imagination And can I say I watched the Dund United Game yesterday and I forgot it was all uilalf past two, the game was thirty minutes in and I was like o Oh yeah,'s teams playing today. It Sititt in and weren't good Theyve scored nine fewer goals in Livingston this season. Momentum is really part of I think no momentum for St. Marin. I fear for St. Marin. I think when you get like Logan Charmles back. Yeah Tony Walt back Ocean Smith. that kind of, you know what I mean? I like Samuel, his pace and power. The song This song is just inc. Alex Samuel song and part of this of fact. I do like that a lot. Do you fan see part of this just a bitC. I think this year this they may they might joke I really like the people at submitting. they're great to deal with. obviously have a place my heart for thisle because I work with them I love Mart most in the allgy. they're great people That's why they just do it I do. Se legs is in Merin, isn't it? Yeah yeah. Just a amount of pressure that's on the Premiership team. When' that is that tomorr night the leg, Thursday Monday. Thursday Monday, yees, sorry. spepeak to us at Merin fan the day they win the Premi Sorts Cup You you go, by the way, your two games away getting relegated. They they would laugh you at time. I I know But that's where they are. And fifplated partartic tus So they've got the momentum as you see, tim. It would not surprise me one bit if they go won that And I thought they deserved to watch both games against Dun Fermlland. I thought in the first leg D Fermlland were slightly the better team were probably lucky not to take a a lead to forur Hill But in the second leg and in that second half of thought partic we were very good. I think you just watched what happens when a team finishes third or fourth in the championship? You're just watching them run out of steam in front of you. You do. Motherwell recalling Oh the go Ox. I mean, Jens, you crel crel b theyre putting them on the bedch I mean, I'm no saying I mean, fair play at the we go C couple of momoments of madness, I think it's very safe for the two. Did he do that? because he knows he's not going to Celtic jos he's just getting one up on the'leenon They've but they've got what a week they've got now to look forward to a Scottish Cup final But Martin they will take on Nil Lenon and I still think that's he's got he's got to lift the players's heads for that You don't need much inspiration and you don't need much in regards to building the players up. It the Scottish Cup final it's a showcase final of the season at the end of the campaign and they' go in there believing in themselves, confident in themselves because they've knocked out Three preremiership clubs. them from Fland Fn yesterday, eighteen thousand of them going to Hamdon It'll be amazing. It will be great. Sll it you' run out theap win in a league, I think' three four. I'd love it to be a contest because I' to be a good game of football. You going it? Yeah. working at it We need to talk what we're doing n actually for satle, don't So I'm going to go way Partic thisistle to to go up to the preremiership. I'm going to go Celtic to win the league Iith've done that Oh no,ry. hold on it. Celtic to win Scotish Cup I don't know if you are going to disagree with any of that? No I I think we're all agement. Fistle and seilic. Very well done to Stanny. I emotion Gard N Esmith, the new manager very United, partarting gift. to send Sten host mee up to the championship. Hamilton survive Theilleegation which we expected it was four three, I know, but it was expected Because as it was pointed to it by call, if it wasn't for the points deduction, they would never been in that position in the first place because they're a decent side. Edinurgh has two broad rangers now. I played them. play F play them. at least one team in Edber one this weekend. write a hose That just came to me. Thats it came to me. Whatere's a bubble machine? We run it genuinely, I went to get it before we started we' run it a bubble liquid So lucky, lucky boy. sort of And all see we down? Can we just I need to go home there if had enough? Oh listen, you're not getting on a stroke. We're going to finish this, thatill we finish all with the quiz. That respects dignity. Do we do a quiz? Do I did the quiz? Do want the qu Yeah.
