I could grow my own vegetables gem up. Yes. although I suspect. Maybe the vegetables would rot and the news would still find you. would there'd be an echo in the cave and it would come around calling your name. Yeah, you're probably right, I kill everything. I can't even keep plants alive. So as we covered in the earlier episodes this week. It's ahambles here in Blighty It is even more even more of a rotten shambles beyond our border. I feel myself aging, honestly, I feel like my face is like collapsing in itself as I doom sccroll. Alex Steed wrote, I've noticed how much I've aged in the past five years and I'm really hoping that adding cheer seeds to my yogurt can turn this whole thing around We're hoping. also I've got to this grand old age, Cer or cheer I donon't know. It was definitely Chia. I've never heard it said R okay. Maybe it's the old Italian thing where CH is hard like Kia' or or. and I look at it and I see Kia. No. no. All right. Okay let's go with that. Anyway, look we are in a bit of a mess over here, which is why this clip from Ed Jones UK summed up the state of affairs absolutely perfectly. put What LBC sounds like when you only ever hear it in a taxi? With this morning's budget expected to take millions from the pockets of hard wororking people, we ask when willill dogs get the vote? I wonder if Madam Chancellor has actually had a chance for her to look at the numbers. Why is it you never see any white traffic lights? Annabelle Foxhurst. No, no, no, no. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. Winter Ready Range is now thirty percent off tires. They go on your car It is left, yes. I bought my first property with a deposit of two shillings and a child rearing calf. But of course this was the fourteen fifties. eighteen pounds a month Oh two A fucking out doing these. If we do defund polies, what's to stop people like me from marrying a horse? It's just one beer One journey One prison sentence. Think I'm not being funny, but ugly boogly woo. But John, that is quite funny, isn't it? Yeah, I know. I walk. Why is that such a perfect summation? I don't know. it is. Honestly, I had my research call the other day for Jeremy Byne and my friend was here and I had it on speaker. I was like busying myself around the kitchen. And the researcher bless him. He was like. And next question, do you think we should give pigeons contraception? I like sorry, What Do you think we should be putin's contraceptception Yes thought about that I would be do that. And he's like, I think they've done it in Spain and it's like Do really work? Oh you are you serious? Yes, ye. ye. Genuine question. Oh, you're serious. serious At least it wasn't a banning question. I feelel like all the research questions are, should we ban this? Yeah? Ban that Yeah. Ban the other Yeah. Yeah. Do what we should ban. we should ban some of the telegraph journalists. That's what we should ban becausecause look at the state of this again, this is back to us being a shambles in this country. Michael Deacon A journalist at Telegraph thought it was okay to write this, Should we ban the unemployed from voting be find them. I' the unemployed. Oh, shut up, you talk. Oh why not J just ban the unemployed, ban those that don't earn, I don' know hal a million a year, ban those that aren't homeowners, ban those that aren't straight, Cis ban those that aren't whitite. Jimmy, you R me of Ben Bradley, who's defecated over to reform. Do you remember when he said that jobless people have vasectomies Yeah But they don't believe in the nanny state. Exactly. unless it comes to Yeah the Sctomes state sponsored the sectomes A Bloody out, I tell you what, talking of reform. someome of their counselors. I mean, unbelievable. Ag, we've talked about it so many times. the vetting procedures are clearly not very stringent, shall we say? becausecause you haveve got some newly appointed counllillors from the latest local elections. and honestly, two weeks after, is all going to tits up Marina So five lost their seat in the local elections, thenen you've had eight who've resigned because I think they thought they were going to be an MP And then they've realized, no, you're managing the bins and stuff. You absolute empty. That's a long time to be like campaigning and not realize What what the job is yeah I mean, there's like some small prints. Then you've got some who've defcated, as we like to say, some who've been suspended And then I think one's been got rid of as well. Dr. David Bull, you know, the sanitary towel. I didn't know that. So it looks like according to I mean it's Facebook, so I wonder how trusted a source it is, but it looks like Oh how reliable is that? No no, it looks like and leftot forward reported on it It looks like he's been replaced with Lee Anderson. Oh. This is the one who had the Sanich towel on his ear. in sympathy for Trump's shoot Oh so as chairman then, because wasn't he chairman? Yes, yes Got it. Okay, there you go. Well, they love a bit of Lee, don't they? They love a bit of Leee, so chairman. Boody out. And look, things are crapper, right? But they are not as bad as things are over the pond. No matter how hard they try to spin it and they bloody do. Listen to this clip from the Joe Rogan podcast the most listened to podcast in the bloody world and his guest is R ifK Jior. And you look at what's happening in England now. you know, Oh people go to jail for How would her post twelve thousand people this year. tw thousand in the last year. And this was the Magna Carta was, you know, written and now there's now it's just a It's just a dictatorship. The shake of that Mam saying that we live in a dictatorship Under your Trumpy tyyrants. Yeah. And also twelve thousand people have gone to jail for Twitter post. I don't think so. This is why we need something. We need to have something to stop all this misinformation. or there needs to be a correction clause somewhere where if you get something wrong, you have to on the same platform to the same amount of listeners correct the record Because these gullible bell chees, maybe they're gullible, maybe they've been deliberately misleading. It's not twelve thousand people going to jail. It's twelve thousand arrests. and these will be people inciting violence Actually, the people that went to jail's one hundred to two hundred. So that's pretty crucial detail that they've got wrong there Yeah, and even those arrests, it might have been like a warning, like a visit from the police saying, what are you writing on socials? Yeah, Inite violence. donon't do that. like a rarap on the knuckles. There's a big difference. It does say arrests. Arrests. Okay. This's a lot arre. It' a lot. Yeah. It's twelve thousand arrests. So the independent wrote In FactCck, the newspaper found that thirty seven police forces across England and Wales recorded twelve thousand one hundred and eighty three arrests That was in twenty twenty three. Gh, twelve thousand people. Is there a sort terrifying number really that many people spewing that level of hate. It is a worry. Anyway, one hundred to two hundred prison sentences, Elon Musk The thousands of British people imprisoned merely for social media posts or speaking their mind need to be released. You know what? I think need reprise we need a reprise of thatm's offering to the internet, his social media post that last week, Marina turned into a bit of a cool track actually bitches, bitches, bites money, money, money. Moving on from the techno. Before we get to the off the chart corruption, that's happening in the stage. Do you remember we used to have our little thing used to sing? Corruption, Corruption, Corruption Yeah, it's too upbeat. It's too jovial and playful now for the levels of corruption that are happening over in this state. But Yes Oh actually that hurt my throat. That's much better. Oh. I' do it three times. I'm not doing it again. really took it out of me and I might need a pastol Right, before we get to the off the chart corruption, we've got to talk about San Diego and will happen there on Monday, because it's not getting the coverage it deserves Two teenage gunmen walked into the Islamic center of San Diego. This is the largest mosque in the county it's like loads of children inside. and these two gunmen opened fire. Three people were killed A'm in Abdullah, who' a security guard and a father of eight Mansor Kazayyah, who'd run the mosque shop for forty years and Nadir Aad and all three of them died stopping it from being far. are worse because you know, you think one hundred and forty kids were inside within apparently teen feet of the government. Yeah, it's a horrible situation. And Trump's response was this. It's a terrible situation. We're going to be going back and looking at it very strongly. G back and looking at it very strongly What kind of response is that? Where is the leadership? Where are the words that actually do it justice? pathetic? But they can't, Gema, they can't use those words because one, they wouldn't mean them And two, you can't fan the flames and then be, you know come out and try make out like you give a shit. We're talking about an administration that held a congressional hearing last week. titled Why Political Islam is incompatible with the U.S Constitution. And who's ally? So Laura Luma, she's that vulgar person that looks a little bit like the Sw. You know, the baddy, the monster and saw that comes in the little bike. Without that face. lookooks like Sw. Laura Loma responded to the shooting I mean, she said a few things that were offensive, but one of the things she said was horrible. She said, Well, I want Muslims to be safe and basically so that the best way we can do that is to deport them. Oh wow, nice way to spin it, Laura. R So anyway, look, Republican elected officials increased anti Muslim social media pose by, wait for it, one thousand four hundred fifty percent in the last year. So yeah, you're right, they can't be that shocked when they're responsible for building that climate. There was more stuff. Lulu Lemon which is, I guess' never shocked But it's like it's so expensive. It's athletic wear, right? I went in once yeah, it's like Legs really nice like exercise wear. and I went in once. I went as far as going, they are lovely. And then looking at the price tag and going, not that bloody lovely. What are we talking for a pair of leggings? Oh, like a hundred quid or something for like exercise leggings that you're gonna sweat in. Yeah. When I've got a few pairs of leggings because I do quite a lot of exercise, but I'm either MLS or I've actually got these two pairs of leggings my friends say to piss at me. I bought them in ASdDA about ten years ago and they're still fine. They're not bagging around the family or anything. Are you sure? Yeah No, there're no nora Paty round the leg. No not because that's not a good look. Don't get me wrong. the bl the lemon ones were very aspirious little bit either be. I don't see the point be. If I was going spend money on clothes, I'd rather be like on a dress, not for something when I'm Do an exercise? I don't know. Yeah, but active wear. peopleeople wear active wear when they're not being active. Yeah. So if you're wearing it all the time, I remember seeing this video on YouTube it was like active wear, active wear, Do nothing active in you your active wear. Oh right, yeah. So just for the look J for the look, just for the school run, you know? Oh yeah. I' kidding yourself. I'm not, I don't own any Lulu Lemon. I don't own any Lu Lemon and lots of people will be boycotting Lulu Lemmon apparently.s of Dickads Bllons, racist Bllons. And this is what we mean about fanning the flamame. So Laura Loma wrote, I'll never buy Lulu Lemon ever again Oh this was in response to. is the fact that they have started selling hitchjuubs. for women on the Lulu Lemon website. Why not?'s their customers. Muslim women exist Wh cater to them. Yeah. It's like, who cares The public defender said MAGA is losing it over Lul Lu Lemon and calling for a boycott because how dare they be exclusive of anyone that isn't white and Christian Why shouldn't Muslim ladies have an upmarket overpriced a jab if they want P ses should be available to them too With lots of elastic in it, you're not going to get anor b of anything No, rightight, before we get into the Trump specifics this week, we just need to say Say the thing, sayay the thing. sayay the thing. Okay, the thing We don't want to sound at broken records on this pod. And we talk about Trump a lot. and there's always a risk that you know youve come to us and you want your news update, you want your lightness and your levity. But there's a risk that when we talk about the level of corruption and what he's doing that it sounds a bit like wallpaper. Oh, we did another the corrupt thing. Oh alwayss done sons' have done this blah This week, Honestly Tol is is different. It is different this week. Trump two point zero this second term, he is significantly worse than anyone could have ever projected. And we mean worse in a way that's quite hard to say out loud without sounding like you're being hysterical or sounding furious, which is what I am by I have a burning fury about how the injustice of this. So We're going to tell you about it and you can decide if we're being hysterical. Yeah. It's very brazen. Here we go. Okay. So this corruption was never hiding in the first place, okay? But it has reached new heights aren't just gobbsmacking and disgusting. And as Marina says, it's like you're running out of adjectives with this guy But it's actually quite terrifying as well. And I think we may have said in a previous episode, like When eventually one day this guy goes and the rot is cleared out, the impact of what he's done and decimated will be far reaching. Like the damage is intense. so here we go. It's Richard Drew said, I know there have been darker times in American history, but we have truly never experienced corruption on the scale that we're seeing it today The guideDF said to all of the people who said we were overreacting when we told you how bad the second term was going to be. Please go fuck yourself twice So This isn't just a rough patch. Okay. So Trump talks about and treats the United States like it's his. like he just owns the land. he's like the kking But not the king that we have these days. The king as in Henry VII, did what the fuck he wanted So Like the government is this family business And it just exists to enrich him to enrich his kids, reward those who are loyal and punish the disloyal and just absorb the cost of just whatever he's done in his name, whatever it is. Yeah, I think about it all the different sort of arms of government like the DOJ treats if it's his own sort of personal plthing, the military tariffs as leavers, prosecutions as leavers, universities in media, foreign policy. all of it is increasingly like personal. in the way that he leverages it and it's all about who's been good to him who hasn't and how he can like most enrich himself and I think we can agree now no one is stopping him. No. Congress is. al acid And we just have now what feels like a handful of reporters and journalists brave enough to point it all out Here is Rachel Madow, and she's one of them and you'll hear her break down the staggering corruption. this Trump regime. Don't worry though, the president himself can handle a lot of this health stuff himself. He does appear really focused on it in a very specific way Dadline Trump bought stock in drugmaker as his government boosted its obesity drugs just before taking unprecedented action to boost The flagship obesity drug of the drug company Eli Lillily bought hundreds of thousands of dollars of stock in Eli Lillily This happened while he's president. Joe Biden didn't trade stocks while he was in office Barack Obama didn't trade stocks while he was in office, but Trump is apparently, trading stocks while he is in office. And since we got his financial disclosure about those stock trades late last week, detailing this bizarre and incredibly energetic stock trading. that the president has been doing while he has been president. Now with each passing hour, we're getting more and more reporting coming out about how his stock buying as president with things he's doing as president to boost the value of those stocks I mean It's just incredible Let just imagine Americans who know exactly what's going on, they must feel so impotent. so impotent. It's like just watching someone just raid, just do a raid You know, in the way that you feel when you see horrible footage of shoplifters just going into a supermarket and there's a gang and they just like sweep the shelves off and then just go off, is completely lawless. And that's happening to your country. And it's got to the point where when a journalist and we've seen it, we've had it on the pod asks anybody in the government about, for instance, the consequences of the Iran war on the pockets of normal Americans. they just dismiss it. You're not allowed to ask. There is no explanation. Trump was actually asked, like, are you thinking about like, you know do you take into consideration the Americans and basically their financial positions? And he just brazenly says, no, no, I don't, not at all doesnn't 's a bit and just hold tight hold tight for a bit They can never understand that some people can't. actually hold tight. There is no Buffer he doesn't care doesn't care about anything except himself. So anyway, look, a new filing with the Office of Government Ethhics, which was released on may fourteenth showed More than I've he's been busy three thousand five hundred individual stock trades made in Trump's name in just the first three months of twenty twenty six with a total value somewhere between two hundred twenty million dollars and seven hundred fifty millionars Dollars So a huge amount, the largest series of securities transactions by a sitting president in American history. It's vile. Yeah. It's all the companies that he has connections with So loads those transactions involve companies whose execs We're out with him on that visit to China last week as well' cow tauing toi. Yeah, wanting to be his bestie. Did you see moment of proper desperation where he asked the translator to ask Does he take everyone here Does he take he needs to grow so badly that he's the favorite. Validation. You're special. I need authoritarian leaders to love me He just loves them, doesn't to be like them does, it does. it is. I mean, The apprentice, you know, that's what he hosted and it was all about Making a butck Here he is. On a grand scale. Yes, on a grand scale. Whatas he gonna to buy with it or another ballroom Let do rotten old bastard men bu I know. do do you What do you need? I don't know. What more do you need? You are disgusting the lengths they're going to enrich themselves. When he's in office, their previous presidents had blind trusts. So if if they had any stocks at all, they didn't know what it was. It was managed sort of I think Rishus that used to talk about you had a blind trust although blind it was. And Trump spent years, by the way, complaining about corrupt politicians and now Look at the state of him, but it's not just Trump. they're all at it. You've got loads of congressmen and women You do it Apparerently, Gemma, get your little violin out. Okay because I need to They need to because they can't just rely on that that salary of one hundred seventy four thousand dollars a year. No. So they need a little dabble in inside a trailing. It's kind of like a perk of the job. And traulers, if you think I'm joking Here is House Speaker Mike Johnson, defending this very thing. You know, the salary of Congress has been frozen since two thousand nine. You know, when you adjust for inflation, a member of Congress today is making thirty one percent less than they made in that year it goes in every year. and over time, if you stay on this trajectory, you're going to have less qualified people who are willing to make the extreme sacrifice to run for Congress. it's just people just make a reasonable decision as a family on whether or not they can come and move to Washington have a residencecy here, residence at home and do all the things that are required. So the counter argument is and I have some sympathy, look, at least let them engage in some stock trading so that they can continue to, you know, take care of their family There just have some bloody cheek. So now now compare and contrast. your remember Martha Stuart Mhm So she was like, what was she like domestic god like Nigel Lawson, but over there. L Mary Berry, she was Delia Smith, everything domestic. Like cookbook, author, whatever. Look how you lay a table fold a napkin, etcetera. rightight? So she had shares in a biotech company and she sold them. after she got a tip saying that a cancer drug cancer drug that it own or had been working on had been rejected because she wanted to avoid a loss in her shares And that equated to roughly forty five thousand dollars So now compare that with what Trump's making. Martha Stewart was investigated, charged, convicted of obstruction of justice, making false statements and sentenced to five months in federal prison and she served every single day of that. So according to one estimate by the New Yorker, Trump and his family have taken in not forty five thousand dollars. No, nearly four billion doars since he took office Yeah, silence. N good on a podcast. No, I'm actually Malth Ajar. Yeah Malth Ajar. That's what he's made since' taking office. And when Jie Vance Ask about it, haveave a listen to what he said Thankk you, Mrter Vice President. The President's financial disclosures were released recently and they showed a lot of stock trades in companies that he has Hocked up An event Official events at the White House on his true social account, sometimes even putting the stock ticker symbols In. his posts and encouraging people to buy their stock Americans, according to recent polling, are increasingly I' describing the president as corrupt and Trading stocks This is a hell of question. Thank you, sir. Trading individual stocks is something that you said that public officials should not be able to do when you ran for Senate all those years ago And yet the president who arguably has access to more non public information than your average senator. is not only buying and selling individual stocks either through his trust? Okay. Is the question. The question is the question, sir, is how can you and your administration argue to Americans that you're cleaning up corruption, you're preventing fraud, you're fighting the sorts of things that harm people and people's financial situations When the president seems to be talking up stocks that he owns, selling them and enriching himself. Okay. so here let me answer your question here. That was a doozy. Before I answer your question, I want to just observe there are different ways to ask a question. Okaykay? You could just ask a question, try to get your answer. Or you could do like a speech where you say, you know, mister Vice Pident, every you know, you're a terrible human being and so is the president, so is the entire cabinet. And then I'm like, what's your question? And then your question is, how dare you Come on, man haveave a little bit of objectivity in the way that you ask these questions because o, I've got I get it. I get it, JD Vans. Okaykay, you're right. It should be asked differently Here we go Boy is such a corpt Yes, there you go, there you go. Is that easier? There are some things you can't be objective about No how do how do you want him? How would they I tell you, how would they fox Reporter position that question. Now say how they would position it. they would ner Just don't ask the question Fox does not cover any of this. Yeah, And I think there was some nerves with that reporter. I think the press are feeling quite stimmid and sort of worried about consequences because it was a load of flannel You know, he's trying to sort of ask politely about And there isn't a way you know, Je Von is right. Just come out and say it he doesn't allow it. he answers back with a load of word salad. Nothing about the content of the question, just more umbridge that you've dared to wang on a bit Yeah. And it's not just creaming money of the stock market by the way, that he's manipulating He's still not got enough cold hard cash. He's also creaming it off the US taxpayers Brace your cells to because thisistes in the most mind bending infuriating way Yeah. So a Harvard professor, that's an actual Harvard professor said about the bit that you're about to hear about, and I quote the most brazenly corrupt action in U. S. presidential history. So that's a That's a high bar Very high bar. Here is what happened. Brace yourself, okay Trump sued The IRS, which is the interternal Revenue Service, he basically said that one of their contractors had leaked his tax returns to the New York Times back in twenty nineteen. Okay, fair enough. the contractor pleaded guilty, went to prison. That's all good. that shows that You know, justice is working. But Trump wanted more than just justice. He wanted money So what he's in effect done and Don Lemmon, the commentator out there who's brilliant said This is some fucked up shit Donald Trump sued himself, essentially because That government arm is under his control.. So he's essentially sued himself then settled with himself and sent US taxpayers the bill He says, this is blatant corruption, the most corrupt regime in American history. And that settlement is being called now a slush fund. It's got one point seven billion dollars in it And Gemma. It is being used Hey Alloys I'm talking Jan Sikthas. There have been reports of one January Skha, the people that stormed the capital offered potentially ten million pounds because Trump says, Ohh, they' got their lives destroyed and turned upside down and they were weaponised, whatever It's really sinister. It's so disproportionate as well, just because somebody wanted to look at his tax affairs, which you would think would be transparent H tax returns, I don't know. Aarently not Aarently not. But even the people inside his own administration, you can imagine how artisan they are. They've got a line. and hours after this fund was announced, the Treasury Department's own genereral councsel resigned God unbelievable. He's just crereaming, creaming, creaming American money taking it for himself. This is actually one instance where prefer this money to be going to him because where it's going is actually more which we'll get to before we do This came out this morning, I saw it and I was like, o my God. this is in New York Times And the IRS, just like our inland Revenue Svice, is going to drop audits of Trump and family indefinitely That because Trump has decreed. Be apparently this was all part of his settlement deal with the IRS. Right, wousers. Mike Levin said this is atrocious. Donald Trump's former personal criminal defense lawyer, now serving as acting attorney genereneral of the United States, signed a one page document in which the United States goovernment releases, waves and quits and forever discharges Donald Trump, his sons, his businesses, his trusts, his affiliates, and his family from any federal claim prosecution, audit, damages or action any kind. So he's basically on the sly signed a deal to bar again, it's like the HMRC, if you like, from ever, ever, ever ever re examamining his or any of his families or his companies prior taxes That's quite extraordinary. It's Freging insane, A the slush fund. What's terrifying is that This feels like it is a taxpayer funded reward scheme for his political supporters controlled entirely by people he appointed and can fire and they've called it the Anti weaponisation Fund. And this is Trump lost about it. Justice Department has this new fund that was announced today, one point seven billion dollars. Why should taxpayers for the January? Well, it's been very well received. I have to tell you, I know very little about it. I wasn't involved in the whole creation of it and the negotiation. But this is reimbursing people that were horribly treated, horribly treated. It's anti weaponization. They've been weaponized They've been in some cases, imprisoned wrongly. They paid legal fees that they didn't have. They've gone bankrupt. theirir lives have been destroyed And they turn out to be right I mean, it's was a terrible period of time in the history of our country and they worked on it. I know the Justice Department it's really been working on it very hard. There's been numerous other occasions over the years where things like this have been done, But these were people that were weaponized and really treated brutally by a system that was so corrupt with corrupt people running it. and they're getting reimbursed for their legal fees and the other things that had to suffer. Wow. So he incited these thuggish villains who stormed the Capitol. We all saw it with our own eyes. It was an insurrection. Some of them met with the force of the law you could say met with justice And now he's saying, no, poor little widams, let's give them loads of money. Now if you are a conspiracy theorist And maybe I am. You could say what's going on here? Is he trying to maybe sort of pay for a little militia? It's not a conspiracy viewpoint manyany people are making that very same observation Jo Joe from Jererss wrote he's literally stealing our money to pay his fucking goons for attacking our capital for him. Brandon E tour said, this is absolutely fucking insane. He one thousand percent, I know it's a bug bear of yours Gemma, one thousand percent. He one thousand percent plans on these fucking traitorous clowns doing an insurrection again. He's not paying them off for what they've already done It' to ensure they do it in the future too. Yeah. The Gent Johnson put it like this. If the january sixth folks accept these funds, does that make them paid protess? And there's loads of people also just going like Michelle Dude, we could have had student loan forgiveness But instead we've got insurrectionist forgiveness and I hate it here And this just the thing people will be looking at everything, you know, like things that they need and things that money should be spent on and just thinking, o's going over that Are you serious?magine I think thinkink back to what we saw that day. Think back to the footage. Think back to the police officers, the security that were attacked and those people are being rewarded now. Senator Jamie Ruskin, he's the one we be robbed on knees. Do you remember when he took Farage to task when Farraage went over to the states He said this is about funding or pre funding, like I said, Donald Trump's private militia Wsers And again, I'm still very stuck on things like this, COVID ninety three. There's no money for pediatric cancer research. But there's one point seven billion for people who' beat cops and smeared feces on the walls of the U.S. Capitol. It looks like they are paving the way to do anything they can to keep Trump in power, even the midterms that are coming up. There was an interview with JD Vance, and he's already looking to kind of discredit them. and say, actually, you know, a lot of the vote is kind of rigged. He's saying know blaming the Somalia fraud ring and blaming illegal aliens who he says vote ninety percent deems. So they're already sowing those seeds of mistrust and trying to undermine them in terms as well as it looks like setting up funding for their militia to do it all over again And here's another example of how when they swing into action and decide something, their power is frighteningly mighty. okay? Because this week's Congressional primary in Kentucky was supposed to be a safe Republican seat and normally, nobody outside the county would care, except it's just become the most expensive house primary in the history of the United States. There was over thirty four million dollars chucked at this. So that is to put it in sort of context. That's like what entire countries spend on elections just for Kentucky and interesting that it's a Republican that they want to see the backoff because he's an all right one. Well, actually is even that all right or is he's just got some he's got some red lines and he is standing up. So this this is Thomas Masssey. Thomas Massey, he's a seven term Republican congressman, but he did two things that put a target on his back. First, he pushed to release the Epstein files. Goddamn him. Yeah exactly. He's only one of four Repicans who signed the petition to force the vote And Trump, by the way, has come after all four of them ever since. And the second thing he did to get on Trump's bad side, in fact, to get on the Israel's bad side, was that he went on the Tucker Carlson show. And he explained how APAC, which is the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, which is the most powerful pro Israel lobby in Washington They basically explained how it works. and it's so dodgy. They basically ask their candidates to write a pro Israel white paper before they're even elected because they want to sort of establish their allegiance to Israel. every Republican he was saying has got this APAC babysitter. So APAC effectively assigns itself to members of Congress to keep them in line. And he was the only one who wouldn't take any of their funding. who he wouldn't allow to babysit him. And he also wouldn't sign that paper that they wanted him to sign to sort of basically say, do what we say An Israeli newspaper reported And it's called Haretz The most consequential Republican primary for Israel is happening in Kentucky So Cassandra McDonald posted over that saying, think about this. A small rural Kentucky race consequential for a foreign nation, sit with that for a minute. That is because of one of the things he did oppose. He opposed the war in Iran. So immediately he gets the backs up of the pro Israel lobby. And as soon as you don't follow that party line They will turn their back on you So haven't it listened to Thomas Massey in action? I've got to say here, he makes a very good point. When will you change your party affiliation to Democrat Yeah Iote with Republicans ninety one percent the time. And the nine percent I don't. They're takaking up for pedophiles, starting another war or bankrupting our country. Goddamn him. Yeah. Yeah, there you go. So Laura Ingraham posted, If Massey is a true conservative, then why does everyone on the left want him to win? And Ryan Brim said, because it's about the Epstein class against everyone else And also, if you're living in America, like, yeah, you'll just accept anybody at this stage, you're showing a shred of integrity. And he did. And he did, and you know what they did? My God, the money they threw at this do campaign against him. He launched this massive super Pax, which is a political action committee. Do you know what this is Gemma. This is a fund and way what you can do is you can just like pour millions into this fund, which is exactly what they did and it is to smear the opponent. That is exactly what happens. So essentially they put millions, tens of millions into this pack, this super pack to across Kentucky completely smear this man. So Trump himself was calling Massey weak, pathetic and a bum and then sent the actual Secretary of Defense to Kentucky to campaign against him because Massey said Israel forced our hand and dragged us into the Iran warar, which I think everybody who's got eyes can see. Yeah, and he also said this is a referendum on whether Israel gets to dictate foreign policy by bullying members of Congress. I'm the one they haven't been able to bully. So what happened? did we get a happy ending trarawlers? Because the vote was on Tuesday Gone Mina, Well, you'll never believe it. thirty four million dollars to silence one congressman who said out loud how Washington works how the pro Israel lobby works and how, you know, he wanted the upstream files released. was enough to work. It was enough to get him out. He fucking lost For fuck sake. Yeah, that's what I saw first thing this morning. For some reason this morning, I woke up and immediately thought about two things One was I need to buy food covers because I'm having a barbecue on Monday. I wanted to make sure the flies don't get out the food. And two, what happened with Thomas Masy? And I checked my phone And yeah, he had lost. Colchack wrote, It's wild that Masssey, a man with pretty disgusting politics, who Maga would generally agree with, was like, maybe we should look up paedophiles. And they all turned on him. Yeah, Harry J Sison said Thomas Masssey is someone that Republicans would have cheered on two years ago, anti war, pushing for the Epstein Files release But since MAGA is a cult, they just change their minds whenever Trump tells them to. It is a truly insane political ideology orthough I think everything else we've covered is it isn't just that. He's just got everybody in his pocket now, everybody in his pocket. So there might even be some fear instilled there as well. That's where we've got to. I mean, deep, deep down in their rotten souls, they must go to bed knowing that he's probably right about thestream files in the war Of course they do, but they've made a calculation. Yeah. And the calculation is they just sit tight. sit pretty. It's too dangerous, it's too much of a loss to do anything but And every Republican by the way, that supported releasing the Epstein files has now been voted out of office When do we start calling them the Epstein partarty? Yeah, exactly. And who did win in case you're interested? It was the Trump backed Israel backed candidate, Ed Galrine and Hawkeye andjoyer said, somebody who nobody's ever heard of who declined eight debates and took twenty million dollars in donations from Israel won a primary from an eight year constituent where pure, you've just ruined it. You've completely ruined politics. If you can buy a seat for someone who no and even bloody knows versus this long time quite fondlyee, like well liked Republican, it doesn't matter. And Trump basically just told people Don't vote for him. he's a bad guy he's a bum whatever. And because it's a cult, People just did what Trump told them They didn't have to know anything about this guy. They didn't have to have, he doesn't have to have been their neighborhood. He didn't give a single debate It didn't matter because their dear leader told them e him out. Yeah. and Masssey was very sort of bullish even in defeat He said, I would have come out sooner but I had to call my opponent to concede and it took a while to find him in Tel Aviv. Yeah. So he's quite courageous because I think I'd be quite scared. These people are quite scary people. Yeah. The power and the wealth that they have behind them is another level Hacked to reality said, A Kentucky voter explained why he voted against Thomas Massey today. because Trump told me to That's the Republican Party in twenty twenty six. And I just want to follow on from that with this bloody, brilliant tweet from AG one. He right? They loved Marjorie Taylor Greene, now they hate her. They love Thomas Massey. Now they hate him. They loved Lauren Bobert, now they hate her. They made fun of Biden for nodding off Now they ignore Trump outright falling asleep They put, I did that, Biden stickers on high gas prices. Now they ignore gas prices being even higher bragged about Trump being the no wars president Now they support war They demanded the Epsteam files. Now they bash anyone asking for the Epstein files To be a Mga is to be a slave Not physically, but mentally They stand for nothing. We're up against people who stand for nothing And with the most miscased confidence you've ever seen, they try to tell us what's what We shouldn't even acknowledge these people Trump supporters that remain are mentally too far gone I don't even want to argue with them anymore. Gosh. and here is what Maty had to say when he gave his speech after finding out that he'd lost. And we need We need basic decency We need basic decency. That's what the Epsteam Files Transparency Act was all about. By the way, Today is the six month anniversary of the Epstein Files Transparency Act. We've taken out two dozen CEO's and ambassador of France A Prime minister A Minister of culture And that was just six months I got seven months left in Congress. Okay. Okay. well, listen Our true message to Massey. I don't know if it's on your on your playlist the little tble Tommy Allie Tommy, baby, Tommy Masse, you might like 'use you might not, actually you're a big fat Republican, but anyway, know But we're on side at this moment. So Thomas Massey, please tear it down, tear it all down on your way out question, When was the last time a display ad changed your mind Now think about the last time a friend told you about something they loved. Obviously Trump He takes pride in his appearance, does he? I mean he wears a lot of makep. But there are some pictures that he would not have been best pleased with. It's when you like, you know when you go on a night out of the girls. someomeone' in charge of the picture taking And then they post stuff which they look really good in. and then you look at yourself and you're like oh my What is that doing out there? But you've got no control. Well, he had no control over these And they were shared by Getty. In fact, someone could release the Bicker Bucken wrote, Getty out there, doing the Lord's work. Gemma described Trump in this picture. Okay, so basically he's out in China sucking up to Xiing and it was a windy day. So the comb over has completely vanished and what is left is like a sparrow, sort of a sparrow that's been in the loft for about twenty five years and it's sort of withering and basically he looks like a fluffy old sort of Birds, A looks feble and he will not like these images. I in the back of my spat. 's a spparrow there. It doesust that It looks really flat. Yeah And Julia Lisbeth wrote his head is so flat because it's missing a vital organ.. Okay. A couple more underrated tweet here. Platinum and Parker, I like this one Nobody sees the five AM runs Nobody sees me choosing a salad over fries Nobody sees me doing yoga in a peaceful sunlit room because I don't do any of these things. someomeone after my own heart there. And this is again, look look Friday feels. Friday feels this is going to be heartwarming this one. Okay. This one's from Sherry Underscore ten, who wrote, My grandfather grew up believing men should never discuss women's issues So when my sister openly talked about period pain at dinner one night, he looked uncomfortable immediately She shouldn't say those things to the table, he muttered Then my eleven year old brother asked, Why not? half the world goes through it. The table went quiet My grandfather stared at him for a second before asking, Who taught you that? My brother shrugged and said, My teacher said understanding people is part of respecting them And for the first time in years grandfather had no comeback at all That is excellent. Good little lad. yeah, let's Let's not be silly about things like Mom. I was actually reading a book at the moment by Kally Veaton and it's called Namastay Motherfuckers and she's talking about being a woman of a certain age and how within her comedy set she was talking a bit about sort of the menopause or something. And a guy said, you know why? do we have to talk about these things? And she was like Look, Mate, there was a time when people didn't and a lot of women were like dragged off to psychiatric institutions and had their wounds cut out. So I just think like it's okay We can chat a bit Just a little bit. It's okay let' us talk a little bit. it's fine. Listen It's the weekend. Hopefully you guys have got a bit of time off. You might not. I don't know. someome of us work weird shifts, but I've actually got she got.
