And this week, he published his report He says it's survivor led, it's crowdfunded. I mean when Musk is back in you, I wonder what that means. Over six hundred thousand pounds was given from about twenty thousand donors apparently. And the headline claim of the report headline claim is that at least two hundred fifty thousand girls as a quarter of a million been sexually abused by grooming gangs in this country does make me think with musk behind it as well, why are they doing all the crowdfunding, right Don't you ort change Look, let's be clear about something. Obviously, child sexual exploitation does happen, okay? It's sadly and tragically it's real And also it has been covered up by authorities who Let's face that we're more worried about their own reputations and protecting children. that is documented And that is shameful and the victims deserve justice and truth. And you know, nobody thinks more than us that this needs to be weeded out. and that Young girls everywhere and boys need to be protected So're we're not minimizing anything that's happened full stop Yeah, the abuse was real. the institutional failure was real question about this report is it telling you the truth about the scale? And the answer, when you look at the actual methodology seems to be No, that quarter of a million figure is not an official government figure. It has not been verified. It's actually been specifically rejected by official inquiries. So how did Lowe's report get to quarter of a million? I mean, terrible maths. They basically took figures from specific local inquiries like Rotherham and Oxfordshire and they extrapolated them nationally And as you can imagine traalers, there are fundamental problems with that. So for one, those local figures covered all forms, all forms of child sexual exploitation, not specifically grooming gangs. Massive glaring error, number one. They explicitly did not break down by perpetrator ethnicity All right, another one, another glaring error. and the math itself is seemingly wrong. So in the Oxfordhire calculation, they scaled up using the population of the city of Oxford rather than the county, which is hundreds of thousands of people fewer. So just floor after floor after floor. So basically a national headline figure on a local figure Okay, and then using the wrong denominator applied to a datas set that wasn't actually measuring what they're claiming it measured. Yeah That's a lot to get your head around Yeah, it's basically you wouldn't be able to get away with that. That would not be a report that could be verified You know, it is and this is a thing. anyone can publish a report. You give me six hundred grand I could publish a report I could put it on on my channels. I could then get, you know, if I'm Rub it low, you then get musk to amplify it. Yeah You see how easy it is. Yeah And then you're giving people who are concerned about that or have an agenda, you're giving them a headline, right? Or a figure.
