And she's like looking at it. And prior to that, we were takingictures and sending it to Nanie because she was at some friend's house. And so she was like cononceptualizing, oh, we just took a picture and now I'm looking at this picture of me and dad. And like twenty minutes later, I was like, oh, you got some scratches on your bum. And she's trying to look. I'm like I'll show you in the mirror when we get out. And she like goes to my phone and she's like, take a picture of my butt and show it to me. And then she got in the hot tub and propped herself up so that I could take her to thises. It was like, you're a fucking genius. She lives in a house of influencers and content. I say, one gets done bouncing on one organ, the other one's taking another one, I'm sure. Lerally. I did learn that when you arere pregnant, it pushes all of your organs up. So the baby' just literally sitting there with their organs like right here Justin asked me if the moving around felt like like an internal massage.. I said, u No, she's in bed, she's always like Look, I'm your b aist. so' to you are the You are their spokesperson. And then she'll like and then she's not and she's not dramatizing it ' sound then I'll put my hand in her stomach and it's like it's body horror. They're taking is this like boxing class in there. Yeah. No, it's crazy. It is very swoopy But right now they're both who saw the doctor yesterday They're both head up Butudting heads they were like she was like, Ohh, you must be pretty uncomfortable. They're like like pushing into your liver. Fantastic. And I am. She's like, and in their feet, do they kick your like bladder and pelvis a lot? And I was like, Yeah. They do. Butny you say that how do we fix it?. She's like, well, you can get in the pool and do like handstands to flip them Oh really? We'll be doing that. Yep. Oh wow. So it actually sounds like fun. I'm not gonna lie. She's gonna spend the next few weeks just floating in the pool. so I was in Palm Springs and was like, lookook what I could do? I'm in my thirties. So I'm like, it'll be fun for you do. Well, we have a jam packed episode lined up for y'all. We had the summer House reunion part one that was N Awesome. Explosive. Everyone's like I need it injected into my veins. It was just I'm going to watch it like five more times before part two that. We'll obviously get into it later this episode, but I thought what I loved about it, it was it wasn't too much meanness. Yeah. Like Mia, her line and when it's so funny because obviously when we podcast, we say things, we clip things, things get clipped and sometimes things feel more intense than they are when they're actually delivered in like full form. And we've seen the outtakes of Mia being like you know, like what what was the l out of this marriage just to be one of The West' fuck boys were like just by itself felt so like, you know, like it's certainly a dig, a jab, but like aggressive. but when you see it in full form, Mia was like, girl, like like empathetically like What you would say to anyone like literally, what are you doing? What are you What is like almost like like a sincere and it like landed so much better and like I loved it. It was like and Siera was flawless. It was great. Siera I was like on the floor She was sharp and quick and Amanda, I just neither Wess than Amanda. I just what game plan did they have? I'll there's so many questions. We have Marissa from Pfect Match. You also love her and Noah from Love is Bind to wrap up this season of perfect Match. It really is a nice little appetizer for for Love Island Which by the way, guys, premieres in less than a week. Oh I'm counting down Are we ready? D D Well, you know me. I do US and UK at the same time. I don't want to talk to anyone during the month of June. I saw they released some cast photos of U UK. but they haven't done that for US. Not yet. not But they will. they will.. They should Yeah, probably And here's why they should. They should do it like all bachelor style. We've had remember last season, We had Sierra. Not you. And then we had forget her name who was gone pretty quickly. But like how Bachelor does like again, it's really you can do all the background checks in the world at they have their phones still probably, right? because they haven't gone in to start filming. Lve Island. Yeah. They have their phones until they go in I guarantee cast members are on their way to Fiji at this point. There's already there. if not already there. Certainly they' bringing more people than they're going to bring on the show. They probably have not made final decisions on like who are going to be like OG, like mainstays. But like why they should release the cast? Because again, when it comes to background checks or reality TV shows, anyime something comes out where it's just like this person said this word back in the day or made this phrase and it comes and then everyone's like, how could they not find this? It's just like you can only do so many background checks, but you can't background check people show up in other people's photos. stories that have been saved that are no longer there that are like they only live in people's phones. It's you can't find it. So that's why Bachelor started like releasing cast photos early on, not because it was like they weren't doing it for the fans. They were doing it for themselves so that if fans found or caught anything, they could try to get ahead of it. The only problem with that is like you can't do that with all the bombshells You don't want to spoil the bombshells. So it's difficult to do, but in some way they should probably get ahead of it because the last thing we fucking want this season of Love Island is some kind of fucking scandal and some person who said or did a thing, they definitely shouldnt have fucking done and whether they deserve grace or not, you know, and like we don't I don't want to debate whether like we just we give someone grace from twelve years ago when they were sixteen. Maybe they should, but when it comes to Love Island, there's just no way that like conversation is going to like be nuanced and like we still don't want them on our TV show. And while maybe they shouldn't be crucified or whatever, maybe there's a lesson there, they probably don't deserve a spot on the sacred show that is Love Island.. I have a question about that though. because in the spirit of like, you're not here for the right reasons, is it a red flag or a green flag if one of these cast members doesn't really have photos on their social media L been ced, right? That would be green flog for me. I'm like, I just like the UK better in the senses I said where it's like not so much influencers as it is like a landscaper or like a fishmonger and it's like all of these jobs that I'm like, oh, I didn't know like, okay And like he's a cutie. And it's like, I like seeing that versus like, okay, this person has one hundred twelve thousand followers will they get two hundred and fifty by the end. But also delete all of the cringy videos that you made when you like thought You know, when COVID hit and you were doing all the dances, they like just deleted those up, You know,'s delete them. It worked for Rob Brush You did it? Yeah, we found those dancing videos and people still said, Okay. You have to have a face of an angel. You have to have br f This I said For one, I didn't say he wasn't the exception to the rule. Well, we're excited to have Marissa, if not only to like hopefully clear the air. I mean, we love her. She's been obviously a topic of conversation only and I appreciate Marissa because she was willing to show more of herself The imperfect side And we still love her, we still know her, and we've all been Marissa and relationships Have we not? Yeah. Okay. I know I have. I was like, I've been like, listen, it's not me. It's like how listen, I just love me, accept me for who I am. Ch me, Choose me, love me. My hope for the substack is not only for the fans, for the critics because we I'll definitely talk about why I think the way I do, why I do what I do, why we answer things, why we don't answer things. Well, Jesse Draper Marciano still making their appearances. Honestly,. I think they've honestly been consistent in the sense that Jesie on all of the red carpets has been like, you know, I just got out of this divorce, like I'm trying to be single, I'm not locking down. like we're just having fun. Yeah. and I think her having fun with someone that she's comfortable with, you know, someone that she knows Marciano, I met him at the G Real Hulo event. And my what my one of my best friends, he's not saying Marciano iss a perfect person. but I think he he's warmed up to him. And, you know, the Marciano I met at G Real Hulo event was nice and gracious and I't you He didn't charm me, but he humanized. listen, like when you meet someone in person versus when you watch them on a TV show and you only know someone through like clips, and short things and like regurgitated things that like people online are like, canan you believe what he said and dead? Like it's just a different experience when you meet someone in person. Yeah. I will say I was like, I did think it was funny when we did have like commentary on him and then he made that video talking about like I am a terrible person. and it was like, okay, at least you can like laugh at yourself. This might be a hot take, but I kind of and I don't know Marciano, so I'll give him that. Is he not what Lindseayy Hubber describes as a clout chaser in terms of using women G his cloud. Ver potentially yes. Be like I just like I don't I don't know. I'm like For Jesse to go back to Marciano out of all the single men in the world, I'm like, we'll have to find out if the Jesse in Marciano thing ends Yeah Or if they get married and I have kids, Iavy, what's the alternative I think it is going to end no. I also think that they are like on the same network and it does good things for both of their shows being seen to. I don't think that they're not thinking of the business aspect of it No they're not both their not. I do think Jessse is probably truly in survival mode post divorce. I think she's still dealing with a very messy and toxic ex husband who is out there desperately trying to campaign for himself. I Theos. I keep hearing how he's trying to get on podcasts. He's trying to do podcasts. He's begging people to do their podcasts. Did you see that Winnie Levitt's husband did an interview where he was like U He said like, I didn't really think Dad talk was like really a real thing, but then there were some guys in the group that like that was a real thing to them. and it's clear who he's alluding to, but Jarted. Yeah Yeah. This is business Not to compare it to the Amanda of it all because I've definitely, you know, for all me trying to have some grace for Amanda just to understand her, not to defend her. It was harder this reunion because it was like where I can't even get into it You can't get into it. I can't get into it yet. But it's just more like I just thinking if you're in Jesie's position, it's really difficult to just who are you comfortable with? Like maybe Marciano in her mind is someone she actually can trust comparered to like some random guy she doesn't know. att least Marciano is in this world that she is in. att least he can relate to that experience a little bit And whether that makes sense to us, it probably makes sense to her and I, you know, I don't fault her for wanting to not go to this event alone. not wanting to, you know, it's like having, you know, having companionship and maybe he showed up for her in a ways that like He can be both a little bit of a clout chaser and someone who has a heart. And I was like, I think again, like it's kind of like the Love Island aspect of it all, but I'm like these people share a very common experience that most people can't relate to or understand So it's like when she's talking to him about certain situations, it's like she you would have to explain that to a normal person and then be like, why do I have to deal with it? Because I think that person would be like So why don't you stop? And like why is this so serious? Yeah, And it's like it's my job, but it's also my real life like and he understands that. So I totally don't I don't fault him, fault them for. carrying on whatever. is I want to know Rhanna's thoughts on everything All reality TV. 'use she's summer House. She's watching. She's watching. Well, she did DM Amanda. She did DM Amanda. Yeah L like and like us wants Amanda Francces back We didn't see enough, as she said Second season. The thing about Amanda Francis is she doesn't need it, which what makes it so which is why I think makes her such a good reality TV character is that she doesn't need it. And I think the only problem, I think the problem is sometimes reality TV now and spepeifically with Bravo. I think they have leaned too much on people who need this show to make money and survive. and I think that compromises people a little bit, but it also I think makes them like less compelling and less authentic reality TV characters. I wonder what Rihanna's reaction was when she commented under Bose's wedding stuff and then she heard from Dorit Like I wonder if she was like, girl. I didn't clock back tails. I wanted to re respond. So Rihanna, if you don't know what we're talking about, Bose posted a video of her talking about her wedding and Rihanna commented saying, checked all my mailboxes, which also How many mailboxes do you have? One in Paris, one in Barbadoos of course. The Dail, the mail, The Yahoo, yeah, the hot mail. She checked all her mailboxes, still can't find the wedding invitation wild. And then she gets a response from Dorite. And Dorite says honestly, Honestly, You know, she's trying to be funny It' just honestly sounds like a very serious issue within the postal system Because there is simply no other explanation last. You couldt hear her say it. I didn't hear her say it. But also she's like, follow me Yeah I know like it I'll be there if you want to sit at my table my guess, my plus one. Does Does she notllow follow Dorit? I don't know. I don't know, but I just the way that it feels like it's like the reach out to be like, hey. I too, am a housewife, if you are a fan. know friend. I'll admit every once in a while, I have whether it's like someone we're potentially having on or a commentator and you know, you knowre always like, who do people follow, who we have in common? I can't tell the amount of times I'll look, like wow, they follow Literally every person inbachelor Nation me But me. Like that. That it doesn't go over well. That ist mom an occurs. It's like what like you couldn't To be fair, you're not in the comments. You know what I mean? She's talking about her financial struggles with the business and how she promiseed money and in the divorce, like she was the owner of the business That being said, and she's thinking of filing for bankruptcy The question popped up in my head I think sharing your financial struggles on reality TV is probably one of the most vulnerable things you could be doing for sure For sure, but the cynic in me wonders if sometimes they share it for sympathy and for It's like an infoercial. Yeah, so actually we dated back in twenty thirteen and we fell in love like super fast. I was like, this is my Gody. I'm gonna to marry him forever. and I was in college, my senior still and he was in Virginia so I was in Georgia, He was in Virginia. The distance didn't really work for us. so we broke up. And I always was like he was like right what if? And I hate to say, but even like with Ramses, I was like, when I got engage Rams, was one of my first thoughts I was like what's Draay going to think because he was someone that I just always we always connected over the years and anyytime I was single, he would you want to try to get back together. We would try and it just never really worked out. He's in the military. So we just never really got to live in the same place at the same time. So after perfect match, we connected of course, and I was single. and he was like, o, come out to Japan. That's where he lives and he's stationed And I was like, all right, like I have actually like the timing just kind of worked out And I was like, well, I'm only coming out to Japan if we're like really going to take this seriously? And he's like,ve I've been trying to take this seriously for the past thirteen years and you won't give with me. So we finally just said, let's do it. And I spent a couple of months out there And all our family and friends were not really shocked. They were like, it makes sense about time that you guys stop playing around. And so we decided let's get married in March. So we decided to get married in like February, January, February, but got engaged in February and then March came and we had a small ceremony with our family and friends in Savannah. so it was really, it was beautiful. It was perfect. It was actually a fairy tale for me. so You got married in Savannah, Georgia? Yeah. I went to college there and it's just I always thought I'd get married there. So in Savanah, our families are in best place Did you get married? Yeah, we gotarried in Sanah, Georgia too. The best place Where' you guys get married? That's where I'm from. So my sister lives like twenty five minutes outside of Savannah on like our family farm. So we got married out there, but all of our guests stay downtown and we had the Savanah trolley buses, like bring them all out. But yeah, Savanah's a I hold it very close to my heart Me and you babes. Oh my go, I didn't realize you were from there. You know what? I'm gonna be reaching out to you guys because we're planning our big wedding next year in Savannah for like family and friends. So I'll definitely reach out for some tips. Do it. But it does seem like a relatively like quick courtship between you and him and I'm curious, like obviously with your experience through love is blind and how that kind of like picks up very quickly. Do you feel like part of the reason why you and your husband were able to like move so quickly. Obviously there's a history that you guys have, but how do you feel like your experience on reality TV prepared you for like this relationship to flourish the way it has Yeah, I think because of Love is Bind and perfect match, you just get so used to dating in such a fast environment And Me and Dre have again known each other for so long, but by the time I got off perfect match, I really realized I had some things I needed to work on. And I think had I actually not done those experiences with both Lev' Blind and Perfect Match, I wouldn't have been ready to like have the right conversations with my husband now. So The reality shows really helped me learn a lot about myself and my communication, as you guys saw on this season I look actually insane. but I learned a lot about myself in those situations and I was able to take that and address that with my current partner from the very beginning Therefore, we were able to move kind of faster if that makes sense. Yeah yeah. And first of all, you didn't look insane. You looked human. We've all been you before I am curious though like what did you learn about yourself through that experience? I mean, I thought like the last episode was super relatable. likeike we talked about on the show. like we didn't necessarily agree with you, but as I'm I also have ADHD and things like that. I certainly know He's also a very much of an inter. I interrupt, you know, like, but it's, you know, it's one of those things that if you're if if like you goo through life and And like you were explaining, you don't mean to do it. likeike And so when we don't mean to do it and it's one of those things you know, as I got older, like when I was younger, I'm old enough that like ADHD and all these kind of like terms that we now realize us explain why we are the way we are or why we do certain things. It's been a challenge because on one level, it helps us feel seen like who we are, right? It's just like, oh, I'm not, I'm not just rude I'm not, I'm not The thing that I've been called my whole life where people don't like understand where I'm coming from. But do you feel like after watching it back? I've had to learn that while it's helped me identify why I do what I do, doesn't help me in relationships to say, well, this is like, I do this So therefore, I need you to accept it. There's a level of like I want you to understand why I do it, but I still need to do the thing that know makes my partner frustrated with me because after a while the ADHD reason, while valid, doesn't make your partner less frustrated. And I'm just curious is did you kind of go through that process of you know, watching it back and hearing you speak to Demari in a way that like Now you move differently Yes, I think what I saw, which of course, you know with reality, there's not, you don't see the full context of a conversation. So you see me saying, well, this isnt how I am, but there's more to that. I generally don't like to use ADHD as an excuse. And that's been like a big online critique is like, take accountability And I think there were moments where I definitely did not take accountability in those moments with Demari, and I didn't realize I wasn't. I thought by me saying, well, I have ADHD Give me grace I thought I was trying to like de escalate or like I was using as a way to de escalate or using it as a way to like, here's like what I am help me. And I think I put so much onus on like my past partners on helping me guide me through those struggles instead of actually being like Noara, you're allowed to address that this is a struggle, but also like this person can't parent you. This person is not responsible for constantly like taking care of you in these conversations. So watching back, It's U I don't want to say cringy, but it was just like Oh, I hate that that's being not that I hate that's being shown, but like it's just interesting to see because I had to learn that with my husband. L my husband has healed me in so many ways. like it's unbelievable Nock It's been insane because I see the conversation that me and D Mari have had on the show and I've had similar conversations with my partner And instead of my partner You know, he reacted differently, but he made it known like, look, I need to have a safe space in this relationship too when we have conversations and arguments. and it can't always just be about, you know, ADHD. and I really that was hard because I took it personal. Like I was like, you're attacking me But I had to learn like that's not the case. Like My husband's not attacking me. He wants the best for me, but I also have to create a I'm his partner too. He can't be my parent. L I have to create a space for him as well. And so that has been huge. And so yeah, watching back crazy. I'm like, oh, I see what Like I see what he meant, you know? I kind of already knew, but like, you know, seeing it in person is different. But it also kind of speaks to just like, you know, it really takes the right person to make us feel like safe and seen even when there's a disconnect because like, well, you know, we had a chance to talk to Damari. he seems like a great guy. He seems like grounded And like a lot of things he made sense while watching it back. Nevertheless, I'm sure talking to him in that moment felt like he he wasn't interested and committed. Like talking it through with you. It's almost like he kind of demanded I need you to be finished product in a way as and like you know what I'm saying? Like and you clearly weren't there yet and he didn't seem interested in in helping you get there in a way that it seems like your husband is willing to do. Yeah, I agree. I think that what you see is Demari's wounds and triggers also being triggered and like him not handling it in the best way. Like we're just taking two people who just don' like communicating efficiently because we both have our own communication issues that we had to work out separately. and he wanted me to create that space. I wanted him to create that space. And I think both of us weren't willing to create the space for each other. Even though I felt like we both were trying, we just didn't know how. We had so many conversations offline. like we didn't really argue that much. So I know it looks like that, but that big argument was very telling, and you could kind of see me in and try to like, you know, get his opinion and try to really like work through because I recognizize that I was not really being respectful or creating a safe space, but I also was having a hard time because I felt like I would take a step forward and then he would say something that was just like, whatever. and I'd be like, o, now I'm back on the attack. And so I do feel that Demari definitely and he's you know, told me like he has work that he needs to do and we definitely were not compatible in that sense. And, you know, yeah, I just The conversations were definitely enlightening and we definitely butt heads a lot. We were like two rams just like going at it. Well getting into the finale quickly, did the Comment from Hashim about Ali Did that come off as gross and disrespectful as it did watching it for us in real life? or was it different? It came off pretty gross. I was I wish they showed my face because I was like You don't kiss and tell in this environment. And you know, the thing about Jimmy and Allie is that Jimmy never locked it in with Allie. And anytime Jimmy was around, she was anxious and acting differently and we were really happy for Hashim to come in and switch it up because she was so much more carefree and calm and just fun with Hashim. So we wanted that to happen, but we also didn't expect a gentle man, actual man to like, you know kiss and tell like that. And I felt that if he really was doing the bro code, he would have talked to Jimmy about that alone off camera becausecause ultimately if that's your bro, why would you embarrass the woman that he's sitting next to, the woman that he wants to d after the show? Like it'd be different They didn't have aspirations the day after the show, but they did. And so your bro code kind of broke it when you called out your bros like I think it was gross and I think for Alie it was really disrespectful. L we didn't talk about anything we did in those bedrooms for a reason because it's no one's business and I know it's on camera. but Ultimately, it did not need to be said. and he did it for drama for sure. You heard him say it. like he did for drama. backfired on him too. someone who made that mistake a long time ago, he will definitely regret that It's just like do that Nick. Well, you know what? That goes to show things don't follow you that you can grow and people change and improve and become better. And so that just goes to prove that like his sche guy just, you know, has some room to grow. Yeah it was it just seemed like, again, not to bring up my past trauma and my regrets and things like that, but like it didn't seem like Hashim was like emotionally hurt by this decision. He didn't seem confused, you know, like not to justify my weeak weak moment. But I remember at the time feeling like truly like emotionally confused and like, I still very much regret it because it ultimately does hurt people. But like, yeah, it was a weak thing that he did that there's just no, he's not going to look back and be like, yeah, I needed that answer And it's like he wanted a not on his belt and he wanted people to know. But he also wasn't asking a question. He was being like, he was like, no, I'm going to embarrass Allie. I'm going to let you know, Jimmy, that like we were physically intimate. And did she tell you that? Because we were. Yes. And that was between Allie and Jimmy. and I really, I don't know What I remember and I'm not sure if it's happened since, but Him apologized to Jimmy after that reunion. likeike I think right on set.. And I felt like that was gross. Like apologize to Jimmy. you better apologize to A as well. Yeah. And I don't know if she ever got that apology. I don't know if she did. Maybe she did. I don't know, but She definitely should have gotten that apology before Jimmy. Like what the heck? Yeah. What is your take on all this Sotify messaging? Get your phone for an hour and message someone on Spotify? Yeah, watching that scene was so funny because we were just like so funny about we're like, that's why we lost Spotify because we don't have much when we're in the hotel rooms, but we had Spotify. And I knew there was messaging on there, but I just, you know, I don't know, I'm a bit I'm a bit of a rulefaller so I didn't do that. But when we found out that they were messaging, I mean, I guess it didn't really shock me too much. I didn't love it either. L I felt like the experience, you're supposed to build connections in the villa or the house, but I also didn't take a lot of things as serious as it seemed I didn't. So I was just like, o, okay, whatever. Like they were talking outside the show. like Yeah. Okay. likeike they liked each other. They shouldn't have been doing it, but they did it. They got they got rid of Spotify. That's why I was really mad. L not really about the fact that they were talking. It always feels like on the perfect match finale over the seasons that the couple who quote unquote wins, it almost feels like voting for homecoming court or prom where you like vote for the people you don't mind winning rather the people you want to win. Do that how it feel it feels when you're voting? because it's always like the most random couple and maybe maybe the show chose not to show their storyline. Maybe that's why we're not invested. But like when you guys are actually voting, what are the conversations going on that like leads to like the people who win, win because every season's always like Yes. S. Yeah. like Yeah No, that's true. You know, Dave and Sophie had such a sweet relationship. It was short. So they came in just kind of later in the experience, but they were so short and sweet. How I view the whole voting situation is that I like to look at the singles and be like, who which couple had the less drama with the singles? Because in the house, we know what couples are strong and we know who we want to vote for. And like Dave and Sophie was a great win for all of us. L we genuinely really like them I would have been happy with Natalie and Yeamman. I would have been happy with Allison and Jimmy as well. So I wouldn't f any of the couples. but I think I look at it as like the singles. Like who do the singles have trouble with? Like I knew me and Demari were never going to win because despite our argument that we had, we were solid the whole time. We were pretty compatible despite that. And I was like, well, we're not going to win because of the Cassie, Kayla, Katherine. like that we weren going to win because we pissed off people or whatever. So I think of it more like what are the who upset the singles the least? And But Sophie and Dave, not to take away, Sophie and Dave did have a very sweet connection. Like it really did bring us all to tears because It was shocking, I think for both of them. Did you have to have any conversations with Day like leading up to the airing of perfect match? Obviously, you guys were already together Do he does he not care? Does he not watch or did you have to like sit him down and be like, h right, this is not going to be fun because like it's just not it's never easy to watch something and see your partner fall for someone or like get, you know emotionally triggered and like seem to care as much as you cared about Damari at the time. orr was it just kind of water under the bridge? How did you handle that that so many people in your shoes in the past reality TV have to handle because again, you filmed this a year ago, your life moves on But like time stand still, like what does that look like? We had a lot of conversations right after filming. So I filmed and I flew out to Japan shortly after. and I told him everything. I told him about my connection with Damari and what he might see. It's not comfortable conversations, especially like he didn't want L loveve is blind because He refused to watch the love of his life, you know, on TV, dating someone else. And this was even before we got together. So I knew knew I know he's not going to watch Perfect Match. he's not watching it But I think for him was really u you know, our family and friends seeing it and questioning things if, you know, and that didn't happen, thank God. but We just had a lot of conversations about what it may look like. And then as it came out, Ive just kind of like explained a few things. But you know funny enough, I dated someone during Love is Blinds release and I had to do so much explaining and so much fighting. withith my husband, I just didn't. We're married. We're very, very happy where we're at. We're very strong where we're at. And so He hasn't actually been like, well, why did you do this? Why did you do that? Thank God. It was just more like, hey, baby I just want you know This is what looks like. And honestly, he's been like, I honestly don't need to know. So it is kind of water on the bridge for us. It sucks to start your first year of marriage with a TV show of you dating and crashing out over a guy But my husband's very confident and comfortable, so it hasn't been an issue, thank God But I was very worried That's a great green flag just because you never really know. and it's like almost like a cheat to like insert a little adversity in a relationship. We all know what it's like to be in relationships where our partners like choose to care about things that they like they don't have to care about if they don't want to But it's easy to let something fustter and bother you and the way that he just kind of let it go is must be very refreshing Yeah hard for him for sure. I mean, I think the hard part is like he's seen a couple of articles of like things Demamari said to me in that conversation with like him saying, I like you because of the way you make me feel. My husband was like like, what the heck? Like why is he talking to my wife like that? And he's just sensitive about that type of stuff, but nothing about my actions because we weren't together and Like he knows where my heart lies. So I've just done everything to try to really protect my relationship during the preview of the show. So I try to keep posting to a minimum and I was just ready to announce I was married. L I'm so. I don't think most people care about the timeline. The timeline is not the relevant aspect of this dr. I think we care, but I don't think it excuses what happenens. And it's like, well, Amanda, it's just like that is a valid response. You literally didn't say their name and you know their name. And it was obviously a choice to say their name. So the fact that Sierra is pointing it out Why are you pretending like that's some sort of like unnecessary dig. And then you have Carl who called them out perfectly where it was just like, you should have only apologized to those two people or else, why did you put out a statement? Who was that statement for? And again, it was a statement because you felt pressure to talk about whatever's going on for the rest of us to like save your credibility, to save your reputation, but it's like you didn't, you genuinely did not give a fuck about who you hurt and just because you texted them privately, then we didn't need the public statement. Yeah by chat GPT. Everyone knows I don't have the best vocabulary, but One of my favorite movies is Shw Shank Redemption. and they use the word obtuce in. I don't know if you remember. And at the time when I was watching the movie Im like, I don't really know if that means But now I do. And I don't know why a men and West come across as so obtuse. It really was the perfect way And I think they needed to hear it in that described that way because they both were just like I'm joking about the childGBT too. I was like, okay, time in place and like clearly you still don't take it that seriously. M feel like my opinion has changed so much. obbviously I knew I was like, this reunion is going to reveal obviously a lot. It's you know, we'll see how Amanda and West take accountability. You know, they really got to just fall in the sword and be like, I was a shit friend. I was a shit wife. I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry. We are not seeing that from either of them. I texted in the group chot saying ten minutes and Amanda has said to Sierra fuck off. and I was like, okay, we're off to a good start here. The was nuts. The way that, it was like the turning off of locations and she's like, I don't need I don't want everybody knowing where I Yeah because you were doing something wrong that is not how sharing your location works I share my location with some of my friends. I know when they're in other countries. And it's just like it pops up on the like on your text messages right underneath what location they're at For you to turn it off only when you're at West or turn it on and off. You know you're doing something wrong. You also only started caring about that. When you started seeing but I'm spending the night I am shocked the level of stptimization that Amanda and Wes seem to be like allowing themselves and it is It's my biggest p It's beyond it is beyond Scandaval in the way that Tom been repelled has struggled with any kind of accountability Tom was more like, I knowm I know, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, but he was like struggling with like his version of the story. Amanda spepecifically, West is just kind of like I mean, he has his stick. When Lindsey called him out at the end, like you're so good. And it's true because like that is what West does. and he's doing it right now with his podcast where he just has this whole like, I'm just going keep being charming. I'm going to keep like He would rather joke about his dick size.. And he would rather talk about his newuds in a funny, self deprecating way than just being like, I did a shitty thing. I was reckless with your feelings.. I'm seeing that now. I'm really sorry. straight up. And breaking down the photos that people have taken of them. And But it's true. It is very disengaging. Keep in mind, one of the players in this equation is Wes Wilson who seems to be pretty loose with his dick. Remember he was the first season he was on summer House with Sierra. he's asking her best friends, like, so like how long do you guys usually wait to have sex? because I'm like four or five weeks intoact Which me whichich means that if they did wait to have sex until after the statement at some point one of those two had to have been like Not yet. I'm not ready I'm not ready. I'm not ready too soon. Well, both say we don't want something serious. We should wait. So which means that they they're implying that they have seelf control. It implies that they could want something and not be ready for it. And it's just like so But then after you release a statement, you're like, You can't help who you like and who you're attracted to. I it. I'm still thinking the TikTok in like December of last year where she's at his apartment with two other friends that are in a relationship and they're eating nuggets and off of rum.ike, why are you just like hanging out at West Apartment all the time if you guys aren't hooking up? The sex also doesn't matter. Like at the end of day, it's like you still had that emotal conectivity connection months before while also in a rel you know, like he also had a girlfriend, they called out. Yeah. Yeah because you weren't answering my phone calls you're with Wes in his apartment. you know? so I think like that's what was happening. It like makes you like feel better about it. like it's like, yeah, it allows you to revise the history because it's not as bad as if she was actively hanging out with Sierra while also hooking up with Wes. The the only hope for Amanda or the is to say that she really just doesn't see it yet and she's still like blinded by whatever emotional state she's in. That's the only explanation because it just makes I just want to believe that this isn't at her core who Amanda is, but maybe Lindy say that though when she was like at the end of this West this Amanda's just going to be a girl that you use to get to the next girl. And like she's going to just be left her after all of this damage. The idea that like again, fine about the marriage, not working out, whatever and fine if you're okay with throwing away your friendships But I'm like to hear that this person that you're willing to lose all of this for is having sleepovers with his maybe girlfriend, ex girlfriend, then girlfriend, whatever, who's dressing him for his night appearance at a talk show and spending the night in New York City together I'm like, that to me would be like heartbreaking. And the idea that she's like, no, we talked about it, it's fine. It's like, okay, so you really are okay with just being one option on some night when West isn't busy with someone else when you had a whole ass husband or you could have a whole ass partner that would literally be there. So you're acknowledging that your competition to his girlfriend say Re regardless of you're sexual, you acknowledge that it was like something serious. I Som so glad that you said that because I also wonder like sometimes where I'm like, this is my own, you know, psychology, whatever, could be wrong, could be right, whatever. It's just my own thought about it. But like from watching the entire series and I'm like, I feel like that's part of her like her stick, her fetish, her whatever that she's into, that it's like Kyle was this party guy that you couldn't get to commit. So the whole thing was like he was like, okay, look, let's get a preup. He was like, no, you should want to marry me, you should want to be with me, no bars hold. And it's just like for her to get Kyle was like the accomplishment. And then when she got Kyle, she just complained about him the entire time when he didn't really change who he was as a person from when she was pursuing to when she got him tied down And then I'm like with West, it kind of just feels like the same fucking thing where it's like, okay, he's seeing all of these girl. So like what you're gonna stick around until you're the final one. I mean, was it Sia or Lind, No it was Sera who read and clocked Amanda. There was a one when Kyle was like, it was a little meme. Yeah. And she's like, that's not my wife. But which was an amazing response But her w. And that's the overall I loved this reunion part one versus the or vendor pump of it all is because Even though I thought Sierra eight in that in that comment and the response was perfect, like he's not my husband It was like It was a, you know, it was slightly mean, which is okay which is more Sah is entitled to it. you know, Is she wrong? She's not rightong Yeah. But you can be you can be mean and right at the same time. But what I loved about it in the Mia's responsse in Kyes is that like there seemed to be a goal with the cast of like, let's call out for what they are, but we don't need we don't need to be mean. We don't need a dog pile to get our point across. When Mia was like Amanda's trying to explain herself, making no sense and truly sounding and I hate the word pick me because it's so thrown away, but truly sounding Like a pickm me who like always make an excuse for herself and the men she dates, but like in not listening to how she sounds. and Mia was like, Like what Explain this alost because I can't understand it And it's like and meia truly sounded empathetic in that moment towards Amanda in a way that like sounded like productive and not mean. And I think that lands so much better because I think the cast risked wrist being mean Because if you're too mean, eventually the audience is like, I don't know. it's like it's gettinging and they weren't. And I thought that was great and really productive for the entire cast including because see her what like she wasn't mean. No. She just had some nice great and it was so right. It was like What do you you're what are you doing? It's also interesting that And I think this has two parts to it. It's interesting that that was the first time that we really saw Amanda get emotional. And it was when she said like, you're weak enough to be passassive to be with W like your' perfect partner because you're a weak, you're mute, you won't stand up and really like came for her. I also think that hours into this reunion where she's taking I mean, you know, and I think Obviously, that's a lot. handle at once and I think it just finally hit her breaking point. So I don't know if her crying was The fact that she called her out for being West like weak or if she just was like, holy fuck, this is just like a lot right now. I was going say, I agree with that. could be either one, because I'm like sometimes it's hard to hear a truth about yourself, especially when you've had that thought in the back of your head. and I just don't know how you could not have that thought with Wes, where it's like, if you're not out with him, who is he out with? Right. You know what I mean? So it's like, and you're the type girl even the Mia thing, where it's like, oh you went for to pre game at his house before he had a date with another woman that he might be sleeping with that night. But you have feelings for him, but you don't know if it's clear enough, but it's okay to expl that or you should be allowed to pursue that when you're going to throw away your friendship with somebody else at the same time. I don't know,. I'm sure also like he's going around speaking on his podcast while she's silent. And I think that says a lot of like, I think Amanda's in a place where she probably is struggling mentally and questioning what it all was for, right? They're on vacation So so they're not No, they don'. also It's also so true that like he really did sit there and just let her get annihilated. Not even one Wait wait hold on. like that's that was on me like and nothing. notothing. Well he did do one of those. Where like for a quick second, it felt random by the way, but he was like, well, I'll take accountability for whatever he's like It was a was like, yeah Yeah he did. We brushed over it. And again, that was also like about him because there was literally text messages that prove that they lied And he lied. it wasn't in question. We knew you li.' say we're saying in the sense of like not him also being on the defense. like in the sense of just like Amanda having all of these people com with her with opinions and whatever, he could interject and be like, wait, wait let me take that because like I feel like she's getting a lot of heat and it's just But that's the point that I was trying to make that he's so vocal on social media but then shows up in the reunion silent whereas she's the one that's having to talk in the reion. not val control his narr. But he's only vocal in the sense that he's explaining himself and the reason why he doesn't seem to be able to defend Amanda because it seems like the only thing like one of the things that Amanda and West agreed upon is this narrative of like it was like the it wasn't it was an accident. This is all news. It was, you know, but just or just like fate We can't help who we like. And it was like, you know, this whole like we We didn't plan this our feelings just happen and we can't possibly control how we feel. And so that's why like Wes can't really say anything. And now when he's on his podcast, I know last week we talked about the whole like we didn't see in this part of the reunion, but like when Sierra is like, he's dating you despite me. And we discuss that. I'm actually now convinced that maybe Maybe Si here is right Because like if you're West and you're going on these podcasts, Again, I just don't think he's stupid. No. And the fact that he just keeps going on and now he's breaking down these photos, right of him and like he's like, all these misinformation online. It's honestly kind of genius of West defend the things that are inaccurate about him You know, and be like, well, that's not my hat and that's her hat. And it's just like he's got he's getting into the weeds about the story without ever really addressing it And again, the thing and what I was trying to articulate last week is it really doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things, whether that's true or not. evenven if it's true. I mean, I've spent mostost of my adult life You know, when I think back the emotional energy I put into people in relationships that had long expired. you know? And I spent a lifetime and a lot of therapy learning that like even if Ser is right whatever amount of good feelings she has in the short term, that part that makes her feel good is the part that keeps you stuck in relationships. L the part where the friends are like He's going to regret it. blah, blah blah. Like even if it's true It's the signal that like you are still stuck and you're emotionally invested, which is the only was the part I was trying to make. It's just like it's just It's thats, you know, and I've spent a lot of time trying to figure it out that like that's the feeling that this should be the wake upp call and you want to you want to not care if that's true But that is the hardest part because there is nothing more hurtful then knowing that you've broken, your heart broken, that you've spent all this emotional energy. and then the person on the other side Do doesnn't give a fuck. That is so painful because you that It's like a child. You know, likeike you cared about this thing, The relationship, you've nurtured it and like to like ignore it and just throw it away is like ab banonning your kid And like that's that that's how that feels to like just everyone's like just let go And it's true. You should let go, but it's so hard to do it because you've cared so much about this thing and the person the other side West is like, Yeah, And I'm like what you know, whatever whatever. He just doesn't give a fuck. And at this point the fact that he can't just say even if he doesn't believe it I was reckless with your feelings. Even subconsciously, he doesn't want to give Sierra the win. Why does he Why can't you just pretend like he gave a fuck? Even the question that Kyle asked about the breadcumbing and like he's like it feels like you know what to say to the audience and like you're like building on a storyline and it's like, again Nxt hand just went the air because you guys run you guys remember when we first started watching this season and Leia who by the way is happy, healthy on maternity leave and you guys were all like Oh West in Sierra Oh my God. I love. And I was like guys It's not happening. I don't think it's happening. I don't believe it because like I had talked to people boots on the ground close the street that like it made no sense from the things I was hearing that West would entertain this relationship again And it always felt to me like bullshit and it felt to me like storyline and it felt to me like, you know, like and yeah, I absolutely think West played into this narrative, knowing full well he was never, ever going go there. Well, and I was going to say that I'm like also Samanda, whatever broke right before this season. So it's like we already kind of knew That it wasn't gonna to like end up that way. but I will say that if they never dropped that that thing and like we just let the rumors die, I would still be sitting here rooting for Sierra and West. And then we're going to talk about it in the city, but I'm like even the preview for next episode where it's Amanda sitting down with Sierra and West. and it's just like, what do you mean you don't understand why people are mad at you? Like, you know, like we were rooting for that couple claimed to have been rooting for them if Wes could get his shit together. I would drop him. I would never talk to him again. Well, apparently You would drop Sierra for West in a heartbeat. and that was like the context that was missing in all of that bullshit that you were spouting to Mia. I mean, I have to say, I'm sure reunion day is already dark enough. him finding out like his whole grandmother thing, which was like either the day of or a few days before and then literally sitting down start And he's like, I just got a text that my nudes are out in Missouri. And I was also gonna to say, I'm like kind of interesting where I was like, which ex girlfriend girlfriend leaked those because that happened in your hometown. That wasn't like that came from New York to LA. Like you said that that was spreading in your hometown, didnid't realize that it already had hit New York. And also Kyle love him for the How many dict picts do you have to be sending it for it to end up to me? L Amanda being like, why I never got one. Oh I missed that comment. she also she had two moments like that where I was like, G, you were not doing what you think you're doing. 'use I think Jessie or somebody said relationships are always great when they start off as a friendship. And she goes, what That's crazy as if it's like legitimizing the fact that like her and West fell into a relationship because of a friendship and it's like This is not your moment. I would be mad at West if I was Amanda though. Like the second they sat down in the grain room and he was like, I'm Zen. I' been like, we're on two different pages. like What do you mean you're Zen? We can't be Zen. It's giving like he ate like four weed gummies and it was just like o. Because again, also just from a like just real TV in general We always say in life, you know, you don't know what people are going through. And even when we watch it on reality TV, if they just focus on one storyline or one aspect about your life, it completely just whitewashes like your lived experience and everything you're going through. And again, it doesn't justify Kyle saying, fuck you to Amanda, but like it's amazing how quickly we can have empathy for someone and how it can open up our eyes when we relate to someone's experience. And here you have Sierra, who for all season long was obviously writing for her friend, Amanda, appropriately calling out Kyle for his treatment of her friend But then now that they have this kind of shared trauma, from Wes and Amanda It's it's great to see how like you know, it kind of opens their eyes to being like, you know what? there was I'm not excusing your behavior, but I'm sorry that I wasn't hearing you out. I'm sorry that I wasn't listening to like clearly you were struggling And I wasn't open to receiving that because I was kind of blinded by it. And just it was just a really human moment for those two to connect in that way. And just kind of shows us that like again, we all have a lot going on. And that there's always two sides of the story, right? Like and like Sierra's getting all of this information from Amanda and how it makes Amanda feel, but it's like, Again, even watching in the city, I'm kind of like, damn, I have a lot of sympathy for Kyle because I'm like, we don't see this side of Amanda like at home cracking jokes and one offs. and remember he said that. And I think I like annihilated him for it, so apologies. But it was just kind of like him being like she always with these snide remarks and these comments and I see it played back. and I was like, okay, grow up a pair. Like it's what your relationship is But then it's like, oh, like if you're actually not on board with that and you're seeing this and seeing that this is her opinion of you behind your back and then being told or gaslit to your face, like that's not what you saw. I'm just being funny, ha haa. but I'm like Again, the scene of her packing up her shoes and like just cracking jokes and whatnot. I was just like, this just doesn't feel nice. E've even asking about the dogs in in the city. You know? She's like, didid you take them out No like that when she's packing her shoes. Yeah. like she's like why I might need him to run away from you, which felt so mean. Right after asking him to pack up your shit and like first of all, everybody knows past twenty five, don't ask another grown ass human being to help you move your shit. It's a lot. You got to hire movers and it's just like to ask your ex that you're getting an apartment from, but lying and saying that We're just separated, but we're not separated. We're gonna date each other. But why don't you move my shit? But let me pack a pair of shoes in case I need to run away from you. When she called at the reunion, Kyle, her ex? Crazy. Yeah. well, when I was like What did she say leaving my ex or something It' like he was right there and you were married. You're still married. Like, but it was just so it was sensitized. Grow away. It was so just like, oh, yeah, my ex. like yeah, it was how she talks like off camera probably. And you also know even look the whole like in the city premiere and how he was like, Amanda wasn't gonna to come. And then I had to like convince her to come and all that stuff. I was like, that man is no matter what you have done to him or how you've made him feel or look U That man has been there for you and that's somebody who's showing up and being like, hey, like let's talk about her mental health. like, hey, like, yeah, I know that I should be upset with her, but like people make mistakes and hopefully she gets over. L she's really trying to be supportive of her. and then she's just sitting here being like, I'm not married to you anymore. I don't want to go too far because and Kyle has made his mistakes, but I really think the ultimate testament of like a man masculinity in terms of how he treats his woman partners is to have their back without having to get credit for it. You know it's performative if you're like, well, I did this for them and I got them flowers and let me show up to the scene doing all these nice things. And that'm like you should do that. L you know, at the risk of coming across performative, just be nice and show up for your partner But I do think like a real testament is to like You know protect your person without needing the credit. and even, you know, and to fall on the sword. And I I and the more people I talk to in this cast, the more I think I'm realizing that a Kyle has really protected Amanda over the years. He has taken a lot of heat And maybe some of it deserved, certainly how he spoken to her, But without ever having to point out that a lot of it comes from some of the stuff that Amanda does or doesn't do that Kyle has been just And I think that like I think he deserves some credit if that's true. If he has been falling on the sword and taking a beating from the entire fan base and again, doesn't mean he's never done anything wrong But I think that that says a lot about his character if that's true, that he has been having her back without having to get credit for it. And I think it's been going on for a long time. I agree with that. It was like even the part that we talked about at the end where he was just like, hey, like that was kind of harsh, where it's just like, again, she's like not my that's not my wife, but it's like to him he was like, yeah, but it's just like, it's hard for me to hear. And like that's where it's like, again, you're talking about a woman that he spent ten years of his life with And then to hear that like, oh she's being some submissive, weak person for some guy that's trampling all over her, like that hurt him. And then you have Andy asking Amanda, like, did you know about the canoodling? And she says, not to that extent, No. whichich like why would you need to know? if she's mad. Yeah about like the level of intimacy and not in a way that was compassionate towards Sierra, but like very much like, how could you do this to me West And then and the way she she answered that does suggest There was something going on between them in that moment because she gave a not to that extent as if she had the right to know.
