Happy Father's Day, Natalie.. Thank you. Nick honestly, he had Kind of an iconic weekend. Yeah, please tell I saw some pictures. Start from Friday because I you start Your perspective. Oh Well, on the baseline that it was iconic. Okay Right. We went to Santa Barbara had a nice little trip, a little like last the last trip of the three of us before the twins show up and we I don't know spend time together. What version of Santa Barbara was it? Like not the wineries obviously right. So you walking around like the main part of it? We just went to a hotel Yeah. oation. veryer last minute, we were like, you know what? every weekend we kind of do the same thing. We're like, let's just drive to an hour and a half, two hours up to Santa Barbara. Stay in a nice hotel, walk, you know, I don't know. Look at something different. Yeahes. Literally Yeah literally look at something different. Yeah. I like that. And that is what we did and we stayed at the up there and they were like, o, it's the beachfront resort. And so I was like, okay, slay. I literally was like, hi, like how is? I like, can we get early check in? They're like, Yeahah, of course And then I'm like, also, Beach access, look, you know, L to What do I need to bring? She's like, Someone can take you down there for sure. I'm like, okay Like an like, do I need to like do y'all have chairs down there? She's like, No, it's a public beach. so no we don't have any chairs. and I'm like, okay So I pack beach towels and like all the stuff. and Rivers hyped to go to the beach. She's like, hell yeah, love a beach. So we bring her sand toys, we bring her towels. Was it a rocky beach It was rocks. It was rocks. It wasn't rocks. It was like It was just a lot of like a lot of You could have started a really great like bonfire. Just a lot of beach wood. It just wasn't like Rcky beaches are. It was like she's got Her san toys are like these little ice cream cone things and she handed me when she' like, he's iceam and I held it and there were like a bunch ofand flase jumping out of it and I was like, we need to go to the pool, I think. Yeah. This is the pool day. I think maybe we'llit in the pool. Yeah we was a love fun weekend. But it was funny because the woman on the phone was kind of like Babe I don't think this beach is like what you think it is. Yeah. like she gave me that energy Yeah. she didn't tell you. She didn't tell me. But that's nice, maybe. It's like when the server can't tell you like the steak fs bad Yeah, you're, how the steak feds? Oh, They're like I actually did get the chicken? G for the burder. That's my favorite. Yeah, exactly. So was the hill that you posted walking up on the way to the beach or on the way back from the beach That was up to like the lobby.. And we're like, oh, we'll just What is walk up there, you have to like call for a golf cart or something like, we'll walk up there. and then I was like, oh my God, it the entire thing is uphill. This entire thing. So but we made it and to the countountry Mark to the country Mark. It's really cute. Really cute. And they had all of those little What are they called where you put the cors? Oh the py things that go d They. Yeah, they they were there. They were all over. Are they like the vintage ones or they Yes. Oh it's fun. Yes. And River was. said that yeah, they take quarters. Who has quarters? Right. didid they have a quarter machine? Did you guys have? No there was this a nice woman nice woman had a to give who else had a child Eone shared some of her quarters with River. So nice Faith in humanity to be a real human. Yeah. Yeahah, and then what would we do after that H had a nice dinner. They we a nice dinner, Th then we came over now they get a massage. River I don't know if this is normal for two and a half year old. It can't be. But she like, I don't know if she heard it at the park. I don't know if she heard me say it to Nick one day or something. but She started saying go away And she says it like this that's cool I hate it and so I'm like You cannot say that, like do not say, go away anymore Now, she says it, under her breath. S like this Oh what did you just say? She's like Oh, she's saying it to you. Yes. And I'm like, say it louder. She's like, I not say go away How do you know how to do this? Like that can't be normal, you know? It's like learn behavior. I don't know. She had to learn it from someone. It's kind of polite, but at the same time There's other options Like would you rather her like punch a kid? you know what I mean? p Wh think there's kids that like will like push don't know how to use their words so they're gonna like use their like No, I think it's just Nally speaking to the idea that she Now he's telling her, you can't say this. And response is to be like I'm gonna find a different way of saying. I'm gonna say. I can' deny that I'm saying it Yeah. It's kind of like It's so funny Crazy Anyways. Anways, it was a lovely weekend and I got to spend the time. What did you do on actual Father's Day? We just spend time. I got to spend Father's Day with the people I love the most He got a massage and we went to brunch and we went to one of his favorite clothing stores and then we came home and he played a lot of football I played three or four games in Madin. A lot of football. American football. And it was his last day of smoke in Ga, so he smoked a lot of weed. Last day. Y. So I went home Oh really? Oh okay. Fom you. Yeah Okay, o. We need the twins before the twins get here, you know. So fair, one last hurrah. That's what I said. One last hurrah on Father's Day, Hllo. Are you like a gummy guy or like a I may' the different form. Maybe different form. Yeah You brings one of those massive bonds. Yeah different form. Differe form. It lights up. mom stopped smoking when she gave birth to us and I never saw smoke cigaretes But I never saw her smoke until the divorce. But like I think like a lot of parents do it and I think it's a healthy thing. You guys, can I tell a funny story of the time my dad and I realized we both smoked weed? I was like I must have been and I had been at college and my My friends, I was the DD that night and some guy gave us like half a joint to take home and I was like, Hold ont to that becauseuse my friends have been drinking. so I'm like, donon't lose that because we gott to get home and I want that. So Of course my one friend is like this in the back seat somehow loses it in my car. And I'm like, bro, like we get home, whatever. It's gone for the semester. I come home for summer and my dad cleans my car and he comes into my room in the morning Be my sweet father that cleaned my car with a bag with a half a joint and he's like, found something in your car And he like lets it down and I'm like, Ohh my gosh. And he's like, let me know if you wantanna smoke it later. I was like, You smoked it together? Yeah. You didn't lose it. Didn't lose it. Daddy found it.. What didd you guys talk about when you were smoking weed? I'm like, how long you been doing this? like forever. But he hid it from you pretty good? Yeah. was something you and your dad do together on occasion might add Yeah, he has I'll have to show you pictures. He has like plants now because it's legal and so he's like a It's like a little connoisseur. He's's b. So I think to me, I agree with you, by the way, I saw it as like, oh, he's being very reminiscent of like this season specifically because it was monumental. I didn't read it as he was quitting But now he's had to disclaim it being like thisr president But a lot of people did think he was quitting because it was so emotional. So much so that he had to have like a follow up guysys I'm not quitting. It was like it was two different press cycles in the same day Does he know that he's for sure confirmed? Do we know that he's for sure confirmed? He I mean, I mean, he is I mean, he said that he wasn't leaving. Okay. So I think to me that confirmsiring it.. I mean, Carl is West saying that he's West is not returning. So I feel like they're definitely getting it. We had what Carl Lindsey also coming back L are also coming back, which is interesting because that means that in the city wasn't fully just to like transition Or maybe it still is, Maybe they're just not I feel like Carl' always gonna to stay with summerhouse. And then I guess Lindsy's just gonna continue. I mean, if they can get two paychecks, why not get two instead of one? I mean, I agree. ye. We still don't know though where like Amanda is landing. So that's interesting to me because I feel like we have like the puzzle pieces of West not being a part of Summer House, but then you still have Carl Lindsay and Kyle And Amanda's in the city But I feel like her dynamic on Summer House is like in the air because we also have MihA potentially going there Isn't that the talk about the That was speculation, but I don't know how much that is this like fan driven. I just also I think a lot of these times going to be there. She doesn't want to be around West and Amanda, which is like Yeah, because right? Like I'm glad that this Miha and Sierra seem to have become friends. But if you' we've heard, I think from the showrunner of Summer House that the The show iss really gonna to be con around Sierra. Like I assume Sierra. and I think a lot of fans, as much as we've enjoyed talking about this command of it all I think Sierra deserves a clean slate Like if you bring Miha in, she is West's ex girlfriend, how do you bring her too like how do you bring to still be talking communication with West? That's part The more I thought about it that like How many hours of conversation that she said she was on the phone with Wes seems like a little ix hours is a lot. A little much, you know? I mean, she's entitled to it. I'm sure she has a lot of questions to get answered, but I don't know. it just seems like bringing her in. I'm glad they're friends. They can still be friends Does she deserve a seat at the table? Like is there no one else? And I just feel like Nothing against her That would just Bring West into Summer House in a way that like I think Sierra deserves a chance to finally have a storyline. She definitely does compleomtely outside of West and I don't know how that's possible if you cast the. M how would have to be there and not be talking about West. you know, I would have to be the we only know her we only know her from West. I mean, her opening You know, who is she, you know, would be centered around a flashback of the watch what happens live appearances, the Ringunion appearances and things like that. And it's just like I don't know I mean, it's certainly possible and like maybe Sierra is down, but like it just seems like it would be bringing in old drama in a way that I just feel like. I also kind of feel like you get you get one get one person to have their career Just blow up from a dude screwing you over. We don't I don't feel like everyone needs like we don't need me, I mean, I'm cool with Miha, I like her, but I'm like we don't need to like launch Miha onto this audience because Wes screwed her overucked her. You know. I just think like imagine like five years from now, like Miha and Sierra could be like the page Hanah I guess we have We have Mia and Listen, I already. so we actually don't need that. But I pointed out that a lot of guys like West in Rei TV have used the lack of knowing how reality TV works as a way to manipulate the people they date And I think obviously he did that with Miha. At the same time, I do think like Listen, like She also was a willing participant. I think she maybe didn't ask questions she could have asked. She was another person in this equation. You know, I just don't know if to your point I don't know if she deserves the same sympathy and empathy that we're giving to Sierra because like she her saying that her and West only call because of Amanda It is giving going behind Amanda's back. It' still playing into it and still likeand Yeah like you know that Amanda and West are exclusive together together Yeah and you're like willingly ust calls in secret and adjusting to like that so that you can whichich I'm sure maybe to give her the benefit of the doubt. she has unanswered questions she wants answered They get out in the six hour phone call they have. I know, but why do you why do you have to like hide that? You know, you could be like, I have nothing to hide. I just have some questions that I want answered and I'm glad you have a girlfriend now, but like I feel like I deserve some clarity. She did put it on national television. So I wonder if they're still calling each other or Amanda. Watch that. That's why I'm like, we need the cameras rolling now Clearly there are still a lot of unanswered questions when it comes to how things are going to move forward with Summerhouse and in the city. Having a girl We have a two and a half year old little girl. Oh yeah. it's She was your first. Yeah And I mean, of course, I'm like biased, but I think girls are the best not being a. I wast I was't for you. I'm curious. I mean, you should be asking me, but I'm asking you because I'm very curious. Listen, a lot of guys, I think you know, being I've always imagined being a father. But usually it was always like, I don't really care what I have, but I hope someday I can have a boy, right? You For me, like you, not all men, but a lot of guys, you know, they want to check that box. likeike a lot of women hope that they have a daughter someday After having a daughter, I've I realize that it's easier to be a girl dad. because like having girls makes it it's like it's so easy, I think for the guys Because and I had a friend tell me this. he was afraid he had three daughters and he had a son and I was like, oh, it must have been really exciting to have I think as guys, you would have a tendency of like projecting whatever like lessons you want to like pass down to your son or things you think you maybe got wrong where I think as dads, all you All you have to do is make your your daughter feel like loved and valued. And like there's a like an effort there's there's an ease there There's a lack of pressure. I think what you're saying is actually true because initially I was like, you know what? I would like to have a boy first U But then I don't know, probably also because we've been spending time with, you know, Gemma, Lind's daughter a lot and she's adorable I've been feeling much more comfortable about having a girl of course, we both have, but especially me, I have a lot of learning do but I'm very, very excited. so you know I'm very looking forward to embrace this new chapter And if the future is going to hold a boy, well, I'm going to be happy to deal with that as well. But I'm very, very excited to become uh Gerb Girl de.. Do you think y'all's like parenting styles are similar or do you think you're kind of through the waves of learning each other'ers. I would say it's pretty similar. Yeah. I mean, we agree on so much and I think that's why we have such a solid relationship Maybe there's like the cultural differences Italy versus America and you know, like, differentifferent traditions that will be different But overall, I think we're pretty similar. Yeah, I mean, we've been talking about it all the time and I think we're pretty much on the same page I think the culture different actually is going to make it even better because you know, it's going to be a mix of both, even you know the festivities all of that because you know, are you gonna only speak Italian to your daughter? That' It's funny. we werere having a walk other day and I said, I gota force myself to just speak Italian. and she's gonna to speak English because I don't want I said to him, I was like, Are you still gonna speak English with me? He's like, no, only Italian. I'm like, Well, what do you mean? Are you fully fluent in Italian? I didn't understand it, but I'm not like responding back in Italian. So I'm like, you're not gonna be speaking English to me. ly a lot quieter in our house because we know. I talk all the time, so I'm just gonna to do an Italian. but I think it's going be good for her too because she's actually good very good at Italiian. She understands everything. I just think she is't findine, you know like her conf She's not confident enough to speak, but because She want to be perfect, but you know, you're never gonna like none of us like perfection is impossible in everything. So She's amazing speaking Italian. I'm excited for Our daughter will know Italian before me. be able to speak E. She's very good at eachalian.. I wish our daughter knew know No, I mean, that got her a tutor. Alexia t? Yeah, for Italian, Yeahah That's love. Yeah. I mean, we were spending a lot of time in Italy.'re good friends. Yeah before we got married. and so every time we were there She was coming to our house and I was doing like private lessons. So I learned a lot But I definitely think I learned the most just from hearing Andreas speak all the time. So familyily meers He can't speak about me behind my back. I can understand everything. it's beautiful because she can literally pick up everything. So I love that How have you guys enjoyed being a part of in the city season one It was really fun. Yeah. was It was a great experience. What has it been like to like have the premiere of the season be so wrapped up in the Samanda scandal? Do you guys enjoy it because it gives you guys like obviously a lot of eyeballs on the show orr does it sometimes feel likeike it's almost been a distraction to what you guys are putting on the TV I think the question I think the answer could go both ways. Yeah. I definitely would have been curious to see how the show would have been without that whole scandal because there were so much like so many different topics that We discussed over the fall, so for it to be kind of taken over by this and now every viewer I think is looking for clues or any kind of thing that happened in the fall with her and West So I don't know. I On one hand, it's nice because we have all those people. On the other hand, I would have liked to have seen what it was without that Yeah, I mean, I feel like There's a lot of hate that comes from the whole scandal and becausecause of that, I feel like certain people like watch it. S they don't even watch it, but some other they watch it or like with a different feeling. And I feel like that if nothing would have happened, you know, people would have appreciated it more And were you were a part of season six of Smmer House. Yeah, season six, and then I was a guest for like seven and eight. So you know Kyle and Amanda group pretty well. Oh, yeah, they were at our I mean, Amanda wasn't, but Kyle was at our wedding too. You know I she just wasn't up for it that day I think she like they had a lot of weddings that they went to that summer and she decided that they needed they were dividing and needed a dog sitter or something. Yeah. so yeah, they didn't I mean, she didn't come, but I was at their wedding and you know, we also did winter hs together. So we spend a lot of time. I mean, I always being a big supporter of the both of them and you know I always wanted for their wedding for their marriage to succeed So yeah, I'm very close has it been a chance like someone who's known them on a personal level and like friends with them. How has it been, you know, because like you said, you know how It may be reality TV, but there's a difference between real and reality TV and there's it's nuanced, obviously. you know, and it's not the discount, you know, again, what you guys, you know, you show up and you give us an insight into your marriage and what it's like to raise and that there's a realness there, but it's also a TV show And how do you handle like, you know, has it been difficult to you to see the vitriol that's been directed at your friends and how they've handled that? And do you feel like it's affected your relationship with them No, I wouldn't say affected. I think I really appreciate like Kyle as a person and you know, even the fact that it's been supportive even though. fact that he's been see multiple times that there're still love, you know, they're not together, they're probably, you know, Now never going to go back together, but the fact that is' be there for her, that's the best support she could ever had. So I'm glad to see that. And you know, as I said, multiple times throughout this weeks speaks volumes about the person that Kyle is Andt listen, Kyla is O amount of fault in the past, but at the same time, what I like about Kyle is going to be holding himself accountable for the mistakes he makes And you know, it's going to apologize. Maybe the apologist is not going to come right away, but it's going to come. And you know, I that's what I really love about Kyle and that's what I really find him very genuine. Yeah, no, I appreciate you saying that. I've also tried to find at least some understanding and empathy towards Amanda, even though sometimes the internet is very resistant to that. But you know, things don't happen in a vacuum and it's not, you know I think there's a difference between excuses and reasons like you know, there might be a reason why I mananda did it. I don't think it's necessarily An excuse, but like you know the person, do you Have you been as conflicted with her decisions or do you Do you have any empathy or understanding where she's coming from, whether you agree with the decision or not Now I can really say that I understand where he's coming from. I know that there was issues in the marriage, but I don't think you can really go to that for what happened because they were already separated. And you know, I I also want to in good faith and believe the timeline that has been presented. So you know, up and after The thing is I it takes time. We' find out this week that West Wson will not be coming back to summer House allegedly. And it makes a lot of sense because I think it's just going to be centered around Sierra And rightfully so. If there is a world where now that OS and Amanda are together, would you guys welcome West Wilson on in the City I don't think any of us really understand Hm decisions or why she did it or the person that she chose Um So I don't really know if I don't know if I see that possibility I don't know. I think it would take some time also because This is somebody that is not involved with realityV, but somebody said it could have done to your f have done to somebody else wife. I mean, at the end of the day A friendship got ruined on both fans, but also like the Kyle and West were really good friends Anna I don't know. I think I think I mean, I'm hop for second chances. I think this would take some time Do you feel like the group overreacted with your murky on it I mean, the group actually didn't really react. It was It was like Kenny burst a group. Like sometimes when it comes to reality TV, some people, it's like it's It's like their turn to take it. You know, It's like sometimes you feel a little misrepresented. And I'm curious when you guys watch back this season, do you feel like Whitney and Kenny's relationship? is more, more or less what you saw in real life versus what the audience is seeing Be like Kenny He seem like it's like, I feel like rule number one, don' embarrass your partner. and it's he says things that Whitney would have the right to feel embarrassed, even though I don't think she should be embarrassed, but like he does things to embarrass her which is like I don't know I don't give. I think that's a good point and I talk to Kenny about it. I think In certain situations his behavior could have been different. That's the only thing that I'm like because I like handot Listen, the guy is much more likeable than what you guys sure are seeing right now We have been spending time with them off camera and we enjoyed being around them. And I also believe in them and I think they're going to they eventually can be that end game couple you know, they're going to end up together for the rest of their life. and you know, we're here to support that But I told Kenny, I think in a lot of situations he put himself under the wrong light because I feel like Sometimes she should be just making a step back and acknowledge mistakes that he could have done. you know, instead of like going in attack mode or going like on a totally different direction And he was I mean, the last conversation we he understood what I was like he said, yes, I start realizing that You know, I still I still think also he was still figuring out, of course, the fact that she moved across country, that's a huge thing So when you do that kind of want to have some answers, at least, you know, what are we doing here? And I think in that moment we' still like a little bit Not going to say that word, but you know, still to figure it out. And it was never about Murky. It was always about the spark comment that we heard. Yeah. And maybe like we got it wrong saying there was no spark. What did you think of some of the locations that Amanda and West went to and they've been in. they went to Tos and they went to Toscany. And you know, I keep saying, you know in Italy because that' the culture to spit in each other's mouth. You can't really talk about that because it's somebody that actually got a knowledge of the reunion. so you got But it's a topic. Okay Yeah, But no they went to some beautiful locations. I think a man that was really Rome really wanted to go there W Rome. She was ready to risk it all. for Italy. For Italy. That's true. For all the fans who felt frustrated about what Mmanda brought to the summer House reunion. Do you feel like they'll be a little more satisfied with what she brought to the in the city reunion I think They'll maybe see a different side of her because we are a different group and there was probably less pressure on her. I same before There's more space, maybe I think our group of friends from in the city The approach was different. So I felt like she felt less pressure and she was more open. And most of us weren't directly impacted by her actions. so I think it was a little different for her coming into it So maybe people will be pleased to see how she acted at our reunion Whose side are y'all on with the whole Danielle versus Amanda? I know this recent episode kind of blew up on the trolley bus. Well, now it's a little awkward because looking back you're talking about how Dan mared man and whatever. I don't think there was anything wrong with Danielle's relationship I think there was overlap. He was separated, just like Amanda separated now So I think their relationship is totally valid and I see a different side of Danielle that I didn't see before and I think Owen really brings out the best in her. So I think I think it's you think maybe lasting really the group? being a little hard on Danielle in terms of welcing her back into the fall with this cast I think there's a lot of history. That's the thing. There's good history, bad history. So a lot of things, you know, on reality TV, you want to knownledge all that. I mean, in real life, like everyday life, of course on So I don't I think everybody is open towards Danielle. It's just I think there is a few issues from the past that needed to be resolved and I think that's what have been happening on the on this f first season of season of in the city. Yeah. It took some time. It took some time, but, you know, I think even Lindseay She likes them you. like they had so much history. They evenven our wedding, they were like inseparable, you know U So I think Yes You want to confront like or on certain topics, but at the same time, there is a lot of willing to make things work again and be friends again How will you guys incorporate your children into your TV world because I obviously touchy subject. We don't we don't really know what the right answer is. We're constantly having conversations about how we share ks you know, it's like we have a relationship with our audience, regardless if we're in control of that relationship or not. And so sometimes we have certain feelings about like the relationship our audience has with our kids And again, there's no right or wrong, but do you guys ever talk about that It's something that we definitely discuss. I think, you know, we're still like eleven weeks out so we haven't come to a decision, but the fact that I'm pregnant, Yvon's pregnant, Danielle's pregnant. like we're all going through this together and we're all do within a week of each other, which is insane. So it's going to be really exciting to share this next chapter of our lives and learn parenthood together. and I think that's something We would definitely want to show. Yeah. I mean, I think yeah, also I think that is going to be very last minute at least for the way I feel But yeah, the door is open, but of course, you want to go through this whole pregnancy and then figure it out. I think that's what we're focusing on. We're living day by day because you know so important, such a delicate moment. But yeah, there is an open door, but definitely I think we're going be having a better idea on it the baby's born. It's also a conversation that like Just because you make a decision one day doesn't mean you can't change the Yeah. that's what why I' say the door is open. Yeah. I mean, we showed our two year old daughter, River, her face until she was like one and then around one, we're like, okay, she's starting to actually look like who she's gonna look like. Maybe we pull back a little bit And you know, I'm pregnant with twins and so we're like probably do the same thing. show, you know, they change so much as babies and it's just Yeahes. so it's an ever evolving H Has a season two been announced for you guys yet? No, nothing yet. There's no order to. Let's assume there's a season two that there willll a season. It's a good show Do you imagine they'll pick upp cameras postpartum from all three of you ladies giving? All of our due dates are like End of August or beginning of September And last fall we started around mid September. so you're having a Virgo girl. Yes That's so fun. I'm a Virgo girl Yeah I wanted a Virgo girl so bad. That'll be so fun. I'm not sure what they'll do if they'll pick up cameras. don't I don't think so. If they'll be in the hospital There overlap with summer house because you know, they always go until like what his memor So they'll wait til after's I believe so. I believe so. I mean, I think on one hand, you could say Kenny because When the cameras are up, you see this side of him and You know, he gets involved in a lotam misunderstood because I mean I don't know. I think under through that Behind the cameras is like behind the camera. Yeah. ye. Very nice guy It's just some people tend to like Change a little bit when cameras are up or they act a little bit different You feel it from him when you guys are filming Maybe I know the feel the. I mean, I think in general, just like showing more of everybody's lives and like work and different decisions. like we had a very ongoing conversation about the timing of when to start a family. and you know, I was on the fence. I, you know, wanted to be more settled and But at the same time, we have always wanted a family So we were going back and forth on that decision a lot and then eventually I decided, you know, there's never going to be a perfect time So let's just go for it. So that was like one big thing of us. because we travel so much and you know, she was really scared about that, but actually we've been traveling the whole pregnancy But she's been actually enjoying that because at the same time it got her distracted. Yeah, it's gone by so fast because of it. Yeah. I feel like because it' a season one, unfortunately, a lot of things didn't get shown. so Wing it back, you're like, o, it could have been. I wish they would have shown it. It's not only about us, it's about everyone on on the show, but You know, it' a season one, so you got Yeah I've had experience with Winter hs before that the season on season one got really kind short It could have been like easily like ten, twelve episodes, but you know, they made a six back then and you know, you go with it, you accept it and you know L goes on. Well if I can give you any You know, our two year old has been on maybe two hundred flights, like, o my God, you love you know, like they just to your life. Yeah. No J bring them along. Yeah, that's I mean, what we were talking about. I start traveling so young. My parents, they always took me everywhere. No Nanny around my family. And so I That's why I felt really comfortable and I'm glad that, you know, I gave her time because she took a few weeks to think about it like, you know You want to be vocal with your partner and we' vocal with each other, but you know, I also want to give her space. And then she is the one that came to me and said, you know what? I feel like I'm ready And I was so happy. I was like cloud nine and Well it was a conversation that was had much longer than a few weeks because we had been discussing like since we got married Our intention was to like start trying withithin the first year of getting married, but then we had so many different things happen in our lives and One of those big things was the palisades fire because Andrea has a A family member here in Ala. Rnd. Yeah, she's ninety three and she lost her home in the fire And all the families in Italy, so Andre was the closest. and you know, it it' been really important for us to be near and just like S where we come here nearby And so that like impacted us Yeah by a lot Yeah, I did. And how is she doing today? She's doing good. I' getting close. She's working on interor design. So I'm working with her architect to redo the house Yeah I think in the next couple of months she's going to be back at in. She's also have a great support, so that's great But you know, I felt kind of responsible and you don't see this kind of stuff on reality TV because, you know it's not interesting to people, but for me for her. Yeah It was really interesting to show support. That's why in this past year we've been going back and forth between New York and L.A as much as possible because, you know want to make sure that everything is fine until she moves back in. Be you know, youre losing your eyes at that age And you know, she's been a widow for the last four or five years. So like it's pretty tough. So I wanted to show support because I grew up spending my summers here in LA. You know, L.A is always been a big part of my life. For me, she's always been kind of a grandma, like a third grandma and you know, I wanted to be there for her. And I'm glad that she was so supportive and, you know be on it with me When you guys aren't making reality TV, are you guys watching any reality TV? Are you fans of the genre? It's funny because we don't watch any real. We watch HGTV. HG TV. We know a few things, but we don't really watch it as much. We watch some more like scripted TV shows, like, you know, But we have a little bit of Knowledge but not not nothing crazy Alexy, do you have like a top design ick? or no no that like you see people making every day that You wish they wouldn't Really? because you know, I think design is really subjective So everybody has their own taste and their own preference and you know, whatever makes you happy and makes you feel good about your place, then that's what's most important. I think for me, I like to push myself and try to do different styles of design because I think a lot of times you see designers they get in a niche of just doing one specific style, like maybe chip andjoy and a gaines, you always have that Farmhouse shabby chic kind of vibe.. And so I just like to have variety and mix different design styles. Well, it's great to know you guys and good luck the rest of the way within the city. I'm a big fan of the show. I really I really like it and it's I feel more drama coming. But you know, not even the drama. I just I love a good New York. bas I love to hear that. I love the way the show is producing it and I love like the grocery store scene that we had with like Lindsey and. Yeah that episode one. Okay that they've worked with so many like high profile rreich, even some celebrity clientele I don't know their ages, but they all seem like in their early to mid twenties And it' semi good looking? I'm usinging wait I also se I use it about because Someone was Cty Krardashian's nanny or something that was like when you Googled her, it came up. and she was like, well, I signed NDA so I can't speak about it And I do know who Kourtney Kardashian's nanny is and she has been their nanny for like so long that I'm like, when was this She in her there? Well, I don't know. that's the thing. I have so many questions and I'm definitely like intrigued. No me too. The second they announced the show, and by way, I'm eating it up, but the second they announced it, Mary and I were talking, and I was like, do NDAs not exist? 'causeuse like this concept to me is like I guess they are being secretive of who they've worked with, but like these families are coming on the show to be stars now. Also the They're participating. Yeah the families that they're naming for. I'm like, whoo is this clientele? Because I kind of think that like if you have enough money to have like a high profile nanny like that, you don't need any kind of fame or show that it's really only going to possibly stir up drama one The first family we only watch one episode and the first family they got introduced to us. they're not mama, the grandmother, she self self identified influencer, which is she's hilarious. But it's they're both dentists and they seem like they're just like a very wealthy family. like they're un they're not like cele millions. Okay. So that makes sense like they would be the type of family that they would be intrigued about the idea of getting some like TV notoriety and maybe that's how it works it worked out. But yeah, it's like o I'm just trying to figure out, well, one, like When it comes to parenting, like that is a topic. It's the thing I love the most life is like being a dad and it's a topic that quite frankly, even on the show, I would love to talk about more. It is just obviously a very sensitive topic. Every topic everyone has a strong opinion on And when it comes to like childcare, it's also a hot button topic about like people sometimes don't want to talk about the childcare they have or the child, you know, or what that childcare looks like. So we are getting potentially, I am fascinated about how They're going to air this stuff because so many the topics they're talking about Quite frankly, the topics we don't really about in like the zeitgeist of celebrity families and people who like are parents but also have childcare and they talk about what that childcare looks like or how involved in their lives. So I'm just like fascinated from that aspect. That's what's so fascinating because it's a reality TV show. Everything's being filmed and they're talking about NDAs and they're talking about how important discretion is all while filming and telling us about the interactions. So I'm just like What are we doing here? but nevertheless, intrigued. Yeah, some of the families also are like influencers that have platforms. So like there's the three dads that are one of the families. So I think some of them like it's far Yeahah. I think of them are also just like rich families that are like, oh, let's just have a fun little like season on a reality TV show or whatver. But there's you're ahead of it. You're so spoil. Yeah. There's one of the nannies slept with a dad? Well, so I mean, we know this from the trailer. And I've se some headlines. Yes that one of the main nannies, I mean, should we like, can I spoil or it's out. all the episodes are out. I also ha't finished. so this isn't full spoiler But so Leah, the one that created this agency of like friends and A visa see Basically it gets out that she had slept with. Well, the story initially is that she slept with A dad of one of the kids she was nannying. Ciminal So that's what it starts out with. Then the nannies start talking about it in the friend group And then she has then clarify, wait, no, that's not actually the story I was friends with a guy that had kids and then he needed someone to nanny and then I nannied the kids and then I slept with him. Yeah. Was single? What is the difference? She was nannying the kids For both, right? Right. So I mean, I mean I guess it kind of doesn't make it better. Divorce man Y He's divor.es. it's not sorry fair game. So we single. So anyway, so it's not as bad as it sounds but it's also kind of like Whatever. But the drama what it is that there's another girl Taylor. Love that girl down, but she's a hot mess in the sense that like She gets like the best parent to Nanny for. Like someone that's very like female friendly, like empowering U And then like on her first day, she like leaves the kids with a different nanny to go talk to her boyfriend on the beach. She like gets fired, gets rehired. and when she gets rehired, she basically talks to I think the mother's name is Nicolette maybe And she's talking to her and she's like, oh yeah, by the way There's a nanny in this group who slept with a dad And then that spreads like wildfire across st. like this obviously clearly the making for an amazing reality TV show mess. They open the show talking about how they're like they're the best of the best you know, you know, they're they're so good one percenter of of nany you know and they're all like twenty something. Well I'm not aware. any of them are parents, but maybe they have some incredible nanny advice. I'm excited to I'm excited to hear it. And I keep explaining how the storyenth kind offolds. And this isn't spoiling, but it's just very fascinating. So basically Nicolette, this one mother finds it out. She starts telling other people. She's like, oh, I told someone in passing, like You know, of course then n thatack gets picked up and And its picked up and picked up. So anyways, there's another mother where basically it's kind of like the midseason. they're at a party where they bght they bring the nannies to these elevant parties. So it's kind of like a networking thing too And Leah, this person who made the agency, like made a comment about secrets or whatever. and then this mother that knew that she has never interacted with it. The mother goes Well be careful because I know you your secret and then just walks off And then Leah doesn't know people know this. So she's like, oh my God, storm's off and it's literally production being like It's fine, it's not the end of the world. They're talking her into staying. but she's literally like, this is my reputation. This is my brand. This is everything And then basically that comes out. And then she also, so the first family Leah ends up working for a kind of a spoiler. and that's the family that's like the most strick who' like very conscious and scared of like nannies sleeping with fathers and being too sexual And she's basically like, oh my God, I have to like snitch on myself because it's gonna get around she goes to this this mother and she's like so by the way There's this like rumor fault like going around about this, but this isn't the situation. So you like see that fallout. and then there's like a whole coop and they take over the agency with a different nanny. But Lee is the one that has connections. That's a lot. That's a lot. And I like that you just I mean poop They take over the agency with a different nanny. Yep. the guy. The b It also talks about the nuance of like male nanny. A Manny. Yeah. man. man who will He's a manleanny. Well there's there's a g, mananny and a straight mananny. Yeah But there's they're also like famous, you know, like they're like some other They're showing them like their TikToks with like these their kids that they're nanny. I just like Oh nanny don't ever know in what world like Yeah. Also that's what I'm so fascinated because again the world like if I clearly everyone has there's so many different opinions about parenting. There just is, you know, everyveryone just does it differently. And that's why I'm I'm just I'm curious if the show gets popular. I think it will. I gets popular. I will be fascinated because like I mean We try to talk about parenting and like we're so, you know, we just know that like just because we do it one way doesn't mean it's the right way or the best way. and other people might just like think of you're in charge of your own kid. It's your family, bl, blah blah. But like people have opinions and if this show like busts out, I just can't imagine how there won't be just like so much commentary on just like parenting and nanyning and like the choices these parents are making and how these nannies show up or don't show up and how they move. Well, they are the daddies, but the daddy's family, but also just ining grooming, so like spray tanning, shaving, whatever they need. Chren Wait the nannies are nannies are grooming the men Yes No actual grooming or they're setting up a grooming appointment. Like they're ones spray tanning them and cosmetic preparation, grooming styling, makeup hair. are these people? Who are these people? And also like I'm so sorry you're not your children. Yeah add So all these nannies have or these parents have different requirements. So along with this family, there's also Children's glam, so wardrobe hair and makeup. Children's glam.am is crazy. mustust be able to swim five hundred meters into the open ocean. It do that one. That's good qualification. And this family also had the must be able to appear on family social media. So the next one, which is a strict family, Miss. Wills, hers said mustus align with Ms. Will's aesthetic in public. So she like has her nannies's dress in all white and like specific uniforms.ute. I thought we were following families. Okay. So the whole point is like you're following the nannies. You want to have a good recommendation so you're the nanny that gets the next job. So some people aren't getting paid to be there. It's a fascinating show. It kind of rem. I'm just curious how it honestly kind of pisses me off. honestly like when I watch that's how you get. That's how you get locked in Be there's so many like, what the fuck am I watching? How does this How did this become a show? How'd you find the families to agree with this? Like it's just it's very like I eat it up but it's wild. That is why It feels so wrong. It's a recipe It's like a brilliant show because it's like it's like Mormon wives. like the way we pick apart family dynamics from that show. This is it's got a similar similar ingredients Yeah. Buts there's a difference between You know, we're all messy you know, these real TV shows shine a light on our messiness and our toxicity. but when it's like a married couple and your parent, like Parents will give each other grace because it's hard being a parent and we're only human. But like this is a show about people the parents hire to take care of their kids I just feel like there's less grace when you're like, it's not you making the mistakes, but someone you hired to watchh your kids making the mistakes. is like But also it's a little trickier.
