#658 - Mike Tyson (Live at the Wiltern) — May 15, 2026 — starts at 0:00
Gang dang, baby craze God. Good to see you guys tonight. Thank you for coming out, and um. You know, this podcast has given me like just so many uh little moments of my life that have been so special. And um and tonight is certainly no different. Like uh you know, it's rare that you get a get to sit across from one of the most recognizable people in uh in human history. Um this is a man who's been the heavyweight champion of the world, okay? The entire world. He's been everything. He's been a father. He's been a dang uh inmate. He's been a drug dealer. He's been a But I'm just saying this is a man who has done, I mean that admirationally, honestly. He's been a father. He's just done so many things. Life has put so much on his shoulders. And uh and I'm curious to know what that's what it's like um to be him, you know, and I'm grateful to get to spend time with him today. Uh I feel very fortunate to announce today's guest is Mr. Mike. Tyson. Ooh. You look sharp, Mike. Thank you. Thank you very much. I want um Stefano with T because I knew I was coming here. I wasn't gonna wear food, I was gonna be casual, but I had to be casually sharp. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I think you did it, man. Do you like dressing up or not? I love it. You do? I do it just for no reason I'm in my closet trying on clothes. Yeah. Like a little like kind of a like a little mannequin kind of? Or like a very tough mannequin? No, it's like a a real life stud. It's China's clothes. You like putting on stuff. Have you always been like that? Or was that kind of. You know, let me tell you a story. When they um These guys, um, they pretty much bullied me to help them, that's how I fell in love with pigeons, to help me build their pigeon cool. And so I started coming there often, but I I was what 11 years old. I never knew about washing and changing clothes. My mother would take a hot. Washing soap on the towel just washed me, I never washed myself. So after being on the pigment coop, I have tar from building the pigment coop, I got shit on me. Some guys some guys took me to this neighborhood dance. And everybody said, yo, John, hey Winky, this your friend, he got shit on him. Everybody started laughing at me. I started laughing, I was crying, they were talking about me. And ever since that um I became a criminal and I only bought ninth clothes. There's there's nothing. And then that crane that became a criminal in the nice clothes from the way I kept a laughing. Now the time they say, wow, you look nice. You're under arrest but you look great. Yeah. Oh I love those nature. Oh those great ones. Yeah, there's something more respectable about a criminal that is well dressed, isn't there? He become the rogue that we love. It becomes the what is it? The rogue that we love. The rogue that we love. Rogue. R-O-G-U-E? Yes. Yes. Thank you for joining me today, Mike. I appreciate you, man. And thank you for uh just you've you shared a lot of your life with the world. Is it sometimes uh scary how much you've shared? Like when you or sometimes. I don't have the discipline to be a drug dealer, because I keep getting high in my own. I wish I had the discipline to be a drug dealer. I would be rich. Like everybody wants to buy the cops, everybody wanna buy from me. God damn, I was a oh man, I was. I'd have bought coke from you. Thank you. Thank you. You're welcome. Thank you. You were going to say what I interrupted you. I enjoyed getting high. Getting high was my life. Alcohol too, but both with my wife and uh I love man I was sober. I'm sober for nine years, believe that? Soper for nine years, congratulations. On the count of three, can we both say our favorite drug if you want to say it at the same time, or is that weird? Hey man, I'm a I'm a equal opportunity. Oh, you have no favorite. You didn't have a favorite, huh? No. Anything that got me out of me, I'm like anything that got you out of you. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, there's something about being yourself. It just gets to be too much, doesn't it? God gave me more than you can handle. You think that God put too much power in your hands? No, no way. God broke me before he crowned me. I'm gonna be able to put it. You don't do that, hey, you're a cool kid, take care, poof. You then do that. You know, I've sat I'll from like different folks and uh but nobody I think has had like like on their own face has so many like you you have a lot of scars on your that are just built into you from like wars, right? Do you ever look at your own face and you can know do you know like which ones are from which fights and stuff? I think you know listen, that's interesting that you say that I think it I think it comes from accumulation of fighting. You know, you don't wake up overnight and you got a um a line on your face. It comes that the year, the year the wake in up and you say, Wow, I got a line on my face. Which was the which was the start which it started ten years ago. Oh so you kinda gets worn in, sort of. Well absolutely. That's coming out this year on Netflix, is that right? I believe so. I don't know when it's coming out, but I believe it's coming out. Okay. You've done a lot of documentaries. Do you feel different about this one? Like what do you feel like there's something different to offer now to uh people that are gonna consume it? That's interesting that you say that. There's things that people believe that other people want to hear from me that I've been saying constantly since the beginning of interviews. So it's more the more their perspective than it's my perspective. I may think it's shit. Yeah. They may think of the masterpiece. So No I'm serious. Yeah, no, I'm not. Most of us don't like ourselves on the, you know, we don't like ourselves up to that much, you know. You know, the people the people do, I guess, right? You can't help but that you're very that everybody came to see you and you're very popular. You can't help that. Not your fault. You think it's your fault really that you like there's no. No, I think it's interesting. Yeah. Yeah. I can tell that you feel that way. If you if you had a if there was a time in your life that you could go back to and had uh um a documentary crew. uh that just in your own life like in your childhood or anything that you could just have that footage what would it be would it be when I first met my mentor custom I mean first when I mean when I first day when I first no when I first got in trouble and I was in that June out of tension I was doing stuff there and then I started boxing I started changing my life then I met him that's the point I wish you could come back. Yeah. I miss that. What was it about it that I don't know, I had somebody I love and then they loved me. How did you know that he loved you? Oh fuck, he um Oh I mean it might faith up. If anybody thinks No, it's okay. It's hard to know. Sometimes it's hard to know. No, uh, but if anybody thinks something negative about me, you would attack them. Fenty five. So we protected you. Yeah. And why you have me talking about this bullshit and stop. Stop. Stop, motherfucker. Stop. Stop. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. Stop. Shouldn't the bells? Should we go back to the quarters for a minute? Um No, I think it's just interesting. Like there's times in your life where people come along and they kinda like hold you up by the neck and like, you know, kinda dry your cheeks and stuff like that and uh and give you a place to be. Everyone needs a mentor in their life. Everybody. Even if you got a bad mentor, that's better than having no mentor. What was it like uh with costs outside of the ring? What was that like? Like what was that energy out? 'Ca their family adopted you or no? Yeah. It did. Yeah. Did you have your own room? Well I had to earn that. You did? You had to earn it. I had to earn that, yeah. And how did you earn? Like what was that like, you mean? Um I had to do my child, I had you know, build get my grave up. you know i'm getting my c minuses so i'm getting i'm getting d's now i'm getting b's i'm coming up pieces are writing nice letters back at home about um i'm improving all that crap so yeah he loves that stuff And was there stuff around the house that you had to do? Like what kind of trip? Oh I I took I cleaned the dishes, I took out the garbage, I mopped and sweeped the floor. Yeah, I did the whole thing, man. Like what was the different feeling that you got there, I guess? Well I thought I had the home I had and that was the structure I had to my tour of me building my discipline up. After every train, every time um I finished training, I had the mop and sweep the gym. Sweep the mop the gym. Even when I was a big shot, uh I'm being front cover of sports real estate, I'm taking all the pictures, boom, all day, the cameras, everybody looking at me, at the end of the day, they're brooming the mop. Yeah. Amen. Whenever uh custom 'cause he passed away, how how long was he in your life for? Um Since I was twelve, since I was nineteen. And when your career grew, did you guys did it put any like was it harder to be close to him, or did you get like so kind of like busy that you that it was tougher to You know, let me explain something. He was like my father, he's my adoptive father, legally adopted father. I wasn't out of the site much. He didn't let me out of the fight much. He he watched who I hung out with. He was my he was my everything. If anybody said something negative about me, actually he got the duck these thumb on the butt. He was just like that. And had you felt that before in your life, you think, or no? Never, never. If he told me to kill somebody, I would. No, I'm telling that's how it was. That's how deep it was. They kill that butt. He's dead. Yeah. Type shit, man. People gotta go. Yeah, no, but that's the I'm just keeping it real. That's how I feel taught. That feel taught. So the connection was that it was just that law. Yeah. After he passed away, did you try to find like another cust like customado? Nobody else might kill. But was there a part of you that was looking for something like that? Not like that, no, it doesn't exist. That part was filled in? Yeah. He he was born only for me. He was what? He was born only for me. Or you feel like he was made for you. And he probably felt that about you, I bet. Well I hope so. Have you had the opportunity to try and be that for somebody else in your life, or were like do you feel like you have some of the same like like capabilities that he that he had. It takes a special person to be that type of person and we're all special in different ways. I'm nowhere near the person that he was. No. We're born from two different structures and fibers. He's just a total disciplinary Uga H just He he almost wants to be perfect. He hardly makes any mistakes around people. He won't do any. He's just wants to be right at every moment. You know, he puts himself in a position to be right. He's just I can say megalomaniac, but he was just a the uh disciplinary person. Sometimes he'd go with you so eating. He gives you out of the habit of beating for a week. Sometimes he what I'm sorry, I'm gonna be able to do it. He just may stop stop. He just may stop eating for week. Just stop. Yes. Wait my wife said the same shit. You had to say And Mike? She was flagging me from that day, I said. Was she really? She was. Oh that's a bull shit. I knew that, right? You see I knew this shit. I know this. Kiki, do you love me? She loves you. That's what it's like. If you love somebody, you gotta keep them clean, you know? Um Can you say that last part though? He was such a disciplinarian. Was he was he disciplined in his own life? Like did he like No, I'm using World War II. Okay, so he was very he almost had an institutionalized disciplinarian. Like if I'm going to the school dance and the ta like what three miles away and the taxi's little cuss, the taxi's gonna be a little, late, I can't stay up for you. Run on now! Oh, I went to girl to wait for the cab. I said, baby, you gotta wait for the cab. I got my shoes. I'm running home. Did you really I gotta run home, yeah. And in dress shoes, probably for the dance. I gotta run. I gotta run home. Get home now. Run It's hard to keep a girl when you acting like that. Oh I was I was too extreme. I was extreme. I was too extreme with training. What was your relationship like Was it easy for you to relate to girls when you were young, like to date and that kind of stuff? It was all listen, um It was all about fighting. It's all about fighting. Oh, so you really said you you weren't even trying to date or anything as a as a youngster. Yeah, I dated kinda late in life. Yeah, because I'm I was I used I fell in love with fighting. I I've talked to a girl, I'm talking about fighting, she's talking about what? Yeah, they don't want to see you shadow boxing, yeah. I mean they like the part when the ref tries to separate them. No, no. They don't mind seeing me shadow boxing, but they wanted to talk deep. I want to talk about fighting. You loved it that much. I loved it. I loved it. Wha why was it such a magnet for you, do you think, fighting? I think because when I was young and I watched some of the big time fight, I think it was just the way the crowd rooted for people's names. I wanted them to root my name one day. Yeah. That's cool, huh? Did you feel like yeah, why did you do like cause it's interesting, some people had this feeling they need they want somebody to see them, right? Or or they want to have they want to have a say in the world. Like did you feel like you like more missing part of that? Like were you not being seen or do you Oh I is when the custom marble told me I'm the greatest fight at the beginning of life. Twelve. He told me uh twelve. And you believed him? Yes. Because you trusted him. Yes. Wow. That's pretty powerful that it would just be up that you'd be able to envelop that that much. No, um How can you pick the kid twelve years old, tell him you're the greatest fighter in the world, and you're looking at him like he's some old pervert guy trying to do something. You know, trying to I'm with me? I'm a f I'm a thief, I'm a crook. I'm a some fucking world greatest fighter of all time. So I thought this is some kind of trick. The Jews the the youth centers are trying to pull on me. Oh yeah, yeah, those youth centers. So um this guy turned out to be the real deal and I turned out to be Mike I'm like whatever the fuck people think I am. Yeah, so he was the real deal. Do you think if you hadn't had like 'cause um you know, I've I've heard you talk about being scared as a kid and having like um you know your mother passed away when you were young. And um and we're gonna talk about some of that, but I'm just saying things that I can talk about anything. Okay. I those are just some things that I know about you, right? I don't know you, but those are things that I know about you. Um You may think you know, Bobby. You'll figure them out now. Okay, let's be c oh Thank you, Mike. Thank you for spending time with us. Um me. Thank you. I didn't think I was gonna like you, you made a good brother. Really? Thanks. I appreciate that. My wife told me, don't judge him, don't judge them. I'm feeling away. She's got a very uh you could tell she's a very she has a she has a good soul, your wife. Yes, she did. She believes in you. Do you think that you if you'd have been if you'd have had the things you needed as a child, right? Like the things that every child needs, right? Like the I don't want that. Stay away from me. Keep that shit away from me. I like the suffer. You like the way it went? I love the suffer. I don't want no good time. Right. Oh, you like the discomfort. Oh yes. I like being I like being out of me. And I'm getting out of my comfort zone. But if you'd have had the like if you had the stereotypical things that people I would be a bitch. Oh Would you have been the heavyweight champion of the world? No. Wow. The heavyweight bitch of the world. I know. I'd be wearing slippers during the day, probably. I'd be wearing dang slippers during the day. Yeah, my mother would my mother would baby me, wouldn't allow me to fight and all that stuff. No, it wasn't meant for me to have my mother. Did she baby you as a kid? Like what was she like? Um she was a drunk, she was a prostitute, but um she was who she was. You know my mom uh My mom had like a issue when I was a kid, like she couldn't look at me. Because What's wrong with you? You know something that we don't know. I don't know if she did it. But something was wrong with her. She like she just couldn't like something that like when my mom was growing up, like her dad, like um would make him would make them like put his food under their ta under the door. He he he would not talk to my mom for like for months at a time and he would go in and out of their house through the window. That sounds like a mental illness. Yeah. Right. Right, right at the time yeah it was just like kind of a reverse drive through dead. But anyway, I'm just saying like there was just like So early on I realized I gotta take care of myself, right? Like and I don't know if that was the truth, but inside of myself I made that decision like I I probably was a kid for maybe 45 seconds and since then I was an adult. I don't care if I was two months old. Does that make any sense to you? Exactly You know my my my my My wife is kinda Charming, and she believed that we asked for our parents. And then when I start believing, I said if I didn't have the parents I had, I would never be me. I said she might have something. I never tell her I'm saying now. She may have something there. I did pick those parents. If I didn't have those parents, I would be fucked up. She might be right. What what's a nice memory that you have with your mom that was like something that you think about that was like kind of like a moment that you kinda cherish? Christmas Day and my birthday was on Christmas. Your mother's birthday was on Christmas? I don't know how we got some money, uh but it was just a festival. Her and her friends they had food there and then we was eating food and we have never had that much food before. And I don't know how they got the money. I know it was something scared. But I'm sure Skull dogger. A little bit of skull doggery. Yeah. Something that broke the law, but it was just a great moment, you know. And that's why I was accustomed to I was accustomed to the pimps, the criminals, the stick-up guys, the robber, all being over my mother's house and stuff because that we were in the house of crime. I lived in a house of crime. Where did you sleep? Did you have your own room? No come on home. I lost something on the floor in a blanket somewhere. The better for the for the um the Johns? For the Johns, yeah, exactly. I was everything for the tricks, but yeah, the Johns. The bed belongs to We got a bell you for real. I don't know if my brother or sisters heard me, they bring back memories to them. You slept on each other's backs. One person had to lay down flat and the other person got to sleep. We had slept on different parts on the floor, but you know you had the the uh you had the uh air conditioned, then you turn the big fan. Oh dude, I remember our mom my mom would only let it be 80 degrees in the house, right? And I'm like, well that and at the time when I was a kid I didn't know that that's pretty warm, right? And so we would go get the cold water and we would just put it all over the sheet and then we would lay on it like that. Make a little beach go to Florida. But it was fun. Listen, right? Bobby is just so beautiful sometimes. If you can laugh at it, it's hilarious. Oh it is. We had some fun. Nothing more funny than Bobby. Oh dude. It doesn't mat it doesn't care how rich or famous you get, it still affects you. Don't care how big you get. Memor this? Member this? Yeah. Bro, I'll tell you something. That's a little racial, but let's do it because Go for it. We used to live like People would burn their trash in the ditch, right? And so me and my buddy William, we would get out there and my buddy Larry and we would get all wet and we would run and jump through the smoke in the ditch until we were pretty darkerish, right? And bro, we kind of wait until somebody drove by and yelled the in word at us. Uh inward I hate it, say nigga. Say nigger. You don't say inward is a bit saying nigga. The only people throw by call is niggas. Do you need me to say if you need I I'm just I don't want to do something I can't tell what's going on here to be honest with you I mean I'll jump through some. I think that you say one thing I'd be ashamed. All right? Yeah. Say I'm a nigga lover. You need me to say? Yeah. If I'm a nigga, but does it mean all of 'em? Kind of a little bit. Even a rotten one. I don't know. I don't know if people think I should do it or not. Do it, do it, do it, do it, do it. Please, please, please, please. Come on, man. You fucking the show up, man. You're right, bro. Damn. I just What can I say, bro? I'm a n lover, bro. God is great, brother. God is great. God is great. Now hold on. Now who is cheering for this? I love this show. I love the fucking show. Oh fuck, are we going to jail or not? Are we okay? Another knockoff from Mike. Here comes the podcast. This is because he's got a new podcast, he's trying to get me off the charts. That's why. Mike and he's scared to say nigga but if those are the same thing. Oh. That nigga pussy the motherfucker. I'm sorry. Forgive me, guys. Hold on. I'm sorry. I mean I don't know. I've had a little I don't you know I don't like that. A Lugo what? Huh? You have a Lugo or did you have a Lugo? I don't know. I think we should move on. You know what time it is, ca. The police thought it was like a uh Yeah, they didn't see him. Oh they just see a couple uh a couple of bitches yelling dynamite and they just jumped on him, bro. And I laughed. I didn't I could have helped and told people what's going on, but I had a I was in a hurry. Yeah. You know how to get to Cincinnati. Yeah, good guy. That was a good show, dude. Janet Jackson. Yes. Did you ever get to meet Janet? Yes, I have. I did have a chance to meet Janet. And you uh someone said this is a rumor that I heard that you and Michael Jackson Yeah. Closed down Sea World one night and had a party there. Is that true? This is not true at all. It's not true. Don King told me that. He's a liar. I'm joking, he didn't tell me that, but. Well we we knew if he did he'd have lied about it. He tells the truth by accident. Yeah. He tells the truth by accident. Hey man, uh yeah, it is what it is, dude. But no, it w did you actually get to spend time with Michael Jackson? What was he like as a person? Splendid, beautiful paraphernal. Head guy and all that stuff. It was a beautiful, calm, humble paraphernal. And I didn't like him for a long time, because my friend that called me, he said, hey Mike, I'm just one of Mike's um. He said, hey man, I'm over my side. And one thing that now fuck that dude. He disrespected me. He did that. No man fuck that man. He's just like Jackson said all that? I said that. Oh. And then my friend went like that. He said, really? He asked for me to call you. I said be right there. What was he like? Was he just like a He was very shy, very humble. He was at the the end of his No, he was dealing with that bad stuff. That child stuff, he was dealing with that. He was really And no only with four people at the house, no friends, so and it was just Yeah, I got to know him. I'm doing fine. I love you, man. You're beautiful. Then you've got to be some my red neck. You're beautiful, girl. You're beautiful. I'm doing all right. I just I feel lucky to be here with you today, man. Um Do you think Michael was would did he do you think he was involved in that kind of stuff when you got to know him, but you ever feel that about him or no? I had a different opinion about him once I got to know him. Got it. Dude I read somewhere actually I didn't read it a lot I'm lying to you one of my friends told me that like he had some girls with him and you was like inquiring or then he's these your girlfriends and he said get your own bitches to you No he did now I'm not I'm saying that happen please do I went to a Michael Jackson called to a dog key. He said, come come come come clean and meet my babies. And we're going to see Michael. So he called me. I want to see. So we walk into the show, the last song. We walk into the arena. We walk down the middle of the aisle. He goes like this to Don King. Don King puts his hand up. I go like this. And he puts his hand down. And I say to myself, I know Mike is this. I said, no, he don't know. He is he's the big people for me. He can't be thinking about me, of course not me. So I go in the back, and I'm in the back. This whole staff is just loving me, loving the the bang guy gave me his things. Everybody's all over me. Mike's at the corner chilling like this with the door open. I guess he's waiting for a car to jump in the car. And anybody's all mean I say I think let me go over there and say hi to Mike, you know, because I want to go see it with a good night. I go over there and before I say anything, he goes in. Where did I know you from? This is the biggest moment in my life. I just be my thing, the whole world's talking about nothing but me. And he looks at me, where'd I know you from? You look familiar. Where did I know you from? And I said, no way, Mr. Jackson. That's just a fan. I said, you motherfucker. I said that was a good one. I hate him ever since. I hated him every day. If my friend there called me to come over the house and Mike called you, I would have never I would have been hating him now. Wow. I didn't believe he said that. I'm just a little kid. He said that to me. You think he was joking and he Oh he was dead serious. Yeah. You think he was very competitive, he was. He's not friendly with nobody. Yeah. You had to bend the knee for Mike. Well yeah, he didn't even he wasn't friendly even with black folks. He freaking ended up white. Yeah. You gotta be on, you know I'm saying you gotta have an issue with you when you're gonna everybody's going that route now. I've seen a bunch of athletes and singers go that route. Yeah. The black kind white route. Yep, that's it. Hey Red Rover, Red Rover, come on, you know? Send them over, bro. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And some of this is just like lore stuff. What about Whitney Houston? Did you ever get to meet her? I knew the Whitney very well. No way. Yeah, very well. She came to visit me in prison. She did? Yeah, one of my good friends. And when was that when you were in prison in New York? And no motherfucker I'm up in the anapolis. It's coke. I was just checking to see if you remember where you were in prison at the end. Yeah, yeah, I have a lot listen, um I I had a lot of um really interesting visitors. Whitney came to visit you, did she sing for you or anything like that, or did she just come and spend time? She just came and uh she brought her family and the family came and I don't know quite a few people. You have names and names. What about Michael Landon? He was dead. Was he dead? He was dead then. Patrick Swayze. He was dead too at that. What? All the white people die in your stories, I'm starting to notice this wild. Florence Henderson came. No way. But listen to this, he came to visit me, but I'm locked in the hole. I had to fight with one of the guards. So I'm not gonna come out. If you come out the hole, you got to come out chained. I say I'm not gonna come out forgive me. I didn't want to do that. I don't want to see me in shackles and my feet all that crazy. It look crazy. Yeah. Well and when they put you into the whole so I know it was like 23 hours of darkness, right? And then one hour of light? Or vice versa, the other way. No, they'd leave the light on all night. Oh the lights on all night? Oh that's good. I mean at least you case you get up or whatever. It gives you a fucking headache. Oh yeah. 24 hours a day for like what 10 weeks. Yeah. What starts to happen to somebody in there? Like do does it is it anything helpful? Yeah. The salitude is healthy. Very healthy, the salitude. And what's the thing that most of us most of us, believe it or not, not able to be by ourselves for a long period of time. You know, we haven't developed a relationship with our felt we're we adore ourselves. We can't stop up being up stop being in our own presence. And I guess that's the way to be. Constant happiness and love. Even though we go to the badge it makes that beautiful too. Yeah, I think um I don't know, in my life, like. I feel like in my life, my whole life, I was waiting for somebody to show up, right? I don't even really exactly know who it was. But then like recently I'm realizing that I think I'm just waiting for me to show up. Does that make any sense to you? I don't want the semantics, but I'm not going You have to you know I mean that's your narrative. How does that guy appear? How do you make that guy appear? Right. The first thing that I'm that I'm learning for myself, and some of this is pretty recent, is just like having some integrity. Like, you know, if I say I'm a like because if I say I'm gonna do something and I don't, I hear myself do that, right? And so after a while I don't even believe myself. I think after a while I couldn't even listen to myself because it's like Well, how many times am I gonna lead myself on, you know? Um I don't know if that's exactly true, but I think that's the best answer I have for that. It's always the Hower Power. So is that I apologize. I'm from the I'm from the um The world um that you come from as well. You know, the recovery world. And it's a battle. Some guys sober for twenty years and all of a sudden, boom. They definitely go to dirt and kill themselves. It's a constant battle. No one's ever a winner to the end of the day. over and with that, then you won. If you ever do any drug and you beat the system that was killing you, you go die, boom. But sometimes these guys stop using drugs for thirty years and go back. Yeah. You know me if you can't believe it. So you're never safe. Yeah, and the way we get out of here vibe. It kind of makes it exciting, doesn't it? It's kind of funny as you think. As you get older, one of the things that gets a little bit exciting is dying because it's a new adventure. I don't listen. Does that make sense? That makes too much sense. Death is another part of life we just never experienced yet. You know, if life is good, how death could be bad. Be honest. If God loves us, how could death really be bad? If we look at God the way we believe him to be, how could death be bad? If he created it. If we didn't think it was final, then we how would we behave in this time that we're here, you know? God prepares us, the universe prepares us to death. You know, little by little, we lose our friends, we lose people we care about, we lose our hair, we lose our teeth, we lose our life. It's nothing that happens spontaneous, you know. It's meant to be. Yeah, we lose our ability to be around black people safely because I've said the N-word in here. Yeah. You're a nigga lovely. You're not a nigga hater. Hey, that's a good point, bro. Thanks for looking out for me. I hope they're not able to cancel you in this show. We talk about niggas. Hey. Niggas always got people who can't. Oh, it never failed. The nigga will get you. The word nigga. The word. Oh, it's great to see some equality at last. Are you sometimes amazed like when you look at your life how much grace God has had in your life? I realized that if you don't believe in God, look at me. Cause I should not be right here talking about it. No, you probably did not, man. Listen, I listen though really when I'm in my 30, I got um, I said yesterday the God did a really dirty trick. He he allowed me to live to be 60. God damn. If I knew I was gonna be 60, I played the game. Yes sir. No man, yes sir. I said, fuck you, suck my dick, fuck ya! I went back about it. Yeah, you oh Madness. How you do it, man? Oh, I'd walk right up to heaven like this, bro. I'd walk right into heaven, man. Sit at my table. Yeah, if I'd have been Yeah, I think there's something about like when you feel like you're doing everything yourself. Like did you feel like that as a kid? Like everything I'll I I'll figure this out. I'll handle it. Like did you have that like chip on your shoulder, do you feel like mentor? When I had my mentor, he taught me not to ever say anything negative about myself. Really? Costamaros taught you that? Yes. And what did he tell you exactly? It's pretty isn't it wild how there's something. No, but I learned that at twelve years old. I had to learn that at twelve to be the champion at twenty. If I learned it at fifteen, sixteen, hey, it probably wouldn't have worked out that I've been chapter twenty-two probably. Yeah. So everything worked out for the right we went. What was one of the hardest walks uh to the ring you ever had to make. All the works are the same, pretty much. You know it becomes a routine. Was there one that like you didn't want it or it things had changed or you were uh like I don't I don't know. I've never been a fire. I always wanted it because um every time I got everything when I love my life changed and a good perspective for my family. Right, you got you're providing for your family for sure. That's all I know how to do. When did you um when did you become an adult? Excuse me? Well that happened late in life. That happened real late in life, man. I can't even tell you, man. I wouldn't have believed. Who was 45 or something, bro? Oh dude, I freaking went to bed while I was 27. And mental illness. Yeah. Yeah it is But they don't say that they just call you Mr. Drippy Drop or whatever. They don't call you Mr. Pithy Pithy Cool. They call you they call you little yellow boy. Uh yell by the But yeah, but d what what do you think made you start to turn like finally like I uh I have to I gotta grow up or something something happened, I'm I'm becoming an um because some guys took my pigeons and bullied me. And that was the first time I fought back and it was like love that first fight, I never stopped fighting ever since. Some guys. What? Yeah, he's a dirty wine kind of guy back there. You remember him? Yeah. Who was he? Gary Flowers. Fuck him. How could he do it? Yeah, but even if I saw a kid that was kind of like had some glandular issues or whatever, I'm not gonna break a bird's neck. That's all about humiliating people. Oh, it's like a humiliation. Right, I'm gonna make you feel this way. Oh Did you ever get him back? Oh I beat the dog shit out of him. That's the best thing ever, because every day I fought I went to fight three times a day. I can't stop fighting. I loved it so much. And were you having trouble finding people to fight? Oh no, they have to bring people for me to fight for money. Oh really? Yeah. And uh and so who would get the money? The guy would say listen if you win you get this much. If you lose you get this much. So no matter what you ate for money. He made some money. What's the person you kind of bald when you got a little money? I don't know, some weed and some candy. Weed and candy, bruh. That's what I'm talking about, bro. The monkeys ready for the monkey that now and later. Dude, yeah, but they make your teeth stick together. I know, but it's good when you're high. Yeah, you probably. You're high, you don't mind. You know, I know your teeth did that with in the gum. Teeth it out in the now and your teeth. Oh, the shape of your teeth or yeah, that shit was cool, bro. I like that shit, man. I really like that, man. You ever have some black pussy? Hey, I don't I'm just I'm just asking guys between me and them, please don't respond. I mean I've had yeah, I mean during the holidays one time I have a I had a little. That's true. I'm not talking about no Jewish girl with a great tan. I mean a black girl. Oh, I'm talking about some real, yeah, some of that freaking yeah. I'm just saying like I'm just trying to think. I yes, I had some, I had I've had a little. I've had a little. I have had Mike. I have actually in and if you put halfway in and you put it all the way in that one in that little. You put it in the little? It's a little when you put it in. It doesn't go in a lot. Oh, Hey, bother hokey pokey. Okay. You go in, she comes out. But I've had a little, man. I've had a little and uh Yeah, I would have I would yeah I would get some more, I would um Yeah. I'd get some more sometime. You know what? You dream about fucking though. What's the body shape? Name somebody's body shape. Well some black women you fuck them and they they fuck back kinda, you know? They got that vagina kind of, it it'll fuck you back, you know? It's almost like when you The last hundred years ago that I fucked the wanko, she did that too. But I almost try to um I was flirting with this black lady that worked at the airport for a while, but they said move along eventually. I ain't gonna have I'm not gonna take no go at the airport and I get free flights, man. You're right. I I I don't know. I look man, maybe you'll set me up with a good gal that you know. I don't know any good girls, but I've a good time. I know be a good girl that give me a good time. Did you ever have like uh 'cause Hollywood's people be people steal people's spouse or girlfriends, boyfriends. Did you ever have somebody steal a a girlfriend of yours here? I'm sure I did, but I just don't know about it. You didn't? Yeah. I feel bad actually because I was saying that question, but I knew another question I was going to ask. Somebody said that Brad Pitt stole a girlfriend of ears one time. No. Oh that's an interesting story, yeah. Um Well me and my wife were going to a divorce, we weren't getting, but we were still fucking. Right? Okay. We were always fucking every night. We were still fucking, then we fighting in the paper, then we're fucking night. But one day I wonder what how the fuck she wasn't home. And then driving up the road with the BMW that I bought her. And she had some, I was there with some one of her friends from head of the class, but it wasn't one of them. It was some nigga Brad Pitt trying to head. That honky was with her? Yeah. Wait, motherfucker. Dang, right on that honky was trying to slide, huh? Dirty dogs. The fact that we got to call Brad Pitt a honky is hilarious. He's beautiful, brother. But you caught him in the driveway? Yeah, he was beautiful. I was just I think I um Did you punk him a little? No. I guess I'll yeah he's Brad Pitt. At least if you're if you're if your girl's gonna be with somebody, it's got if it's Brad Pitt, that's you that's okay. I guess you're right. But he wasn't Brad Pitt yet. Oh he wasn't Brad Pitt yet? I didn't know who the fuck he was. He was just brand? Yeah. And she was driving him, he didn't have a car. Oh, that's some bread shit. Brad never got a car, bruh. Name seven Brad to have cars, bruh. None of them bastards. Yeah. Hmm. Have you been good at being in love, you think, over your life? I've got in so much trouble being in love in my life. And the love is um. Love is so many entities, you know I mean Love has been you gotten in so much trouble? No, I don't have trouble with love. I have trouble with me. Love has nothing to do with it. Love has trouble with you? No, it's me with the trouble. I have not no beef with me. Love supposed to do what it does, not supposed to do what I do. You know, and that's what we do. You think you're hard to love or not? You think you're hard to love? I think I'm a quiet thief. I'm I'm I'm humble enough to know that I could be replaced, but I'm confident though that nobody in the world is like me. That's true, man. What's up guys or ladies or fellas, I don't even know. Who knows what. You can't even tell who's got a wiener on 'em these days, you know? You'll take a chick's bra off and she got damn two waners on her chest. Who knows what's going on? I know what I've accomplished in life, the good, the bad, you know, but there's not many people, you know, listen, I walk with poverty and I fit with presence, you know. I'm just is it's not too many things I haven't done in my life, you know? So I just um Take my life day by day, I don't make too many plans. I I met your wife now, Kiki. Yeah. Maybe it's just in person. I'm gonna say she's a beautiful nice lady. You can say she's a very interesting person. She is very interesting, I'm sure. I don't know. Well she seems very uh she has very kind eyes and she seems like she really cares about you. So those are things that I noticed. And you guys have some beautiful. Maybe two. Michael Miguel. Miguel. Miguel. Lo siento. And Milan. In Milan. Kiki seem to just have like uh she wants to make sure that you're okay, right? Is there like or what what's g like what's it like now with her with this relationship? What's this marriage like? I don't know, it's it's too perfect. We need a little bullshit in that other thing. Yeah, we we're cool, we have a great connection. You know. We we bullshit every now and then. What's something you really love about her? I just love her being a mother, she's an awesome mother, awesome wife, and the all around beautiful person. I really hit the jackpot with this monkey. She's good pressure. Where did you meet uh Kiki at? I knew her since she was like 1918. Yeah. Is she like a strong woman in the household? Like what's that kind of energy like? Like does she make you get up early or anything? No, that's the whole thing. I don't have to move. What's that? With my wife, I don't have to move. Yeah. Yeah, and I have the movie, she takes care of me, everything. I got the real wife that, you know, cooks for me, bring my food, I've played. If I'm tired, she'll feed me. I I gotta go. You gotta clean, huh? That's nice. She's also my my my pet. She's also my tiger too. She's my defender. So she has that in her too. No, you gotta have somebody that has that. Oh, you have to. There's nobody that has more fury than a woman. And that's just in general. There's nobody that fights more fearful than a woman. Oh, dude, they can make a child. If you and I laid on her back for nine months, we couldn't make shit. No. No. They could listen. They could bleed nine months and maybe a little cut our hand and we get affectionate. You know? Women are a special breed. Yeah, well they're wizards. They're damn wizards, I'll say that. But they are also a great breed. No, that's the big that's the biggest gift God can ever give us is a woman. Yeah. Yeah, that's the point. I agree. I agree, man. Hey, this is our show. You heard the man. I think uh like fathering and fame would seem like it's really hard for me. How about your life? I don't have any children yet. Oh God bless you, man. What? God bless you. Well I don't want my I don't want things that I've said or done to influence my children's life or people to look at them a certain way or have certain expectations out of them. But fear that that much. But your life has been at a at an insane amount of that. Like what was that did it make it hard for you? Like what was it like fathering and having your life? I don't know. My kids have a great life. And if they ever started complaining, they should think about my father. Then they would have a right to complain. They do not have a right to complain. My kids go to the best school to work offer. They have the best pro um they have the best opportunities to work offer. It's up to them to take advantage of it. Where was your father from? North Carolina. Oh dude, no way. I'm going to freaking Wilming this weekend. Charlotte. Oh Charlotte? Charlotte's okay. I know we've been. I'm fine with it. I will tell you this story. So one time I was in Charlotte, right? And I'd I hadn't been there before and my friend and I were sitting on a patio, we were just getting something to eat, and I saw somebody pushing a baby carriage up there, right? And I thought and they were wearing like a couple of different like like shawls or like rugs, almost like a bunch of like Tapestries and stuff over them and over the carriage. And I thought it was a uh like a homeless guy, like almost like a French homeless guy, right? French? Well just he was a very color. It looked like French? Well just because of the the the the the elegance of the shawls and stuff, they seem very Frenchish. Very Frenchish. And uh for instance It was frickin' Cam Newton pushing his newborn down the street. Are you serious? I swear that is a true story. And that's the truth. It was him dude. I'm keep looking, I'm like, damn, that got the most beautiful, elegant. Homeless around here, they really vibing. And then I'm like, I saw people grow up and get photos and it was Cam and he just had a newborn child. And he was taking it for a little s afternoon stroll out there by the uh McCormick and Schmicks out there. You have anybody in love with? Do you have anybody I'm in love with? Yeah. Uh I mean, it's crazy in the same way. Nobody off the top of my head. Yeah, you're not with a woman right now? No, I'm not with a woman right now. No, you're not kicking it with no one right now. I mean um you know what I'm saying. Uh I'm saying that. How old are you? I'm forty six, dude. I'm an adult. You got your fucking hair. You got that fucking hair. As long as you got that hair, you got the advantage. That hair is serious. Pussy of vanish right there. If you'd had hair, you'd think you'd been uh you think you'd have been even it more handsome? If I had hair, I wouldn't be mad at being blowsuits and all that shit. You can lawsuits. That's crazy, bro. That's hair with power, that's why. When they did that about family because really hair is power. Well that's what even when they used to scout people and stuff and take their hair, they was taking the, you know, they were taking something don't hair the hair. That's why I grew my hair a lot of people did. Power. That's why they're always trying to cut your hair, boy, animal. Cut your hair, cut your hair. Keep your fucking hair. Yeah, bitch, I want to be an animal. Yeah. Keep your fucking hair. Because once you lose your hair, you go, oh, oh, it's because I was home guys say I was in the way. No wasn't in the way, motherfucker. You wish you had your hair back. It was the only thing that was in the way of was in the way of you being a little bitch. That's the only thing I want. Well let that hair grow. Don't care how much you go, let it go, let the growth let the people say, oh you're an animal, you can't get a job. You can get a job with about a year now. Yeah, you can get a joke target, you can get a job as a mechanics assistant. Anything, anything. That makes more money than the average person by far. Bro, you could just brush your hair online and dudes will pay to watch you do it. Yeah, listen, that online thing, it's either the the best thing a pedophile could ever dream of, or this is the biggest the biggest hit in the world. One of the It's the worst, bro. You've seen times change, bro. Same. But like how bad like things are not bad, but things just gotten so much different. It's gotten away from the man. sexual lately. And by everybody's worry about who's sleeping with who, everybody's worrying about who genders who, and who looks like this, and it's all about that now. Yeah, it's uh there used to be so much more. I think I don't know. When you couldn't record everything, the moment was so great, but because then also if I needed to know a story, the only way I could get it was from you. Or from somebody that told it well. And so that person had like I don't know, they had an ambiance about it. There might be a dude in town. That's happened since the beginning of life. Yeah. And now it's suddenly different. Yeah. And now we're people out here losing their minds and shit. Killing themselves. Killing themselves, Mike. Dude, nobody killed themselves. When I was a kid, did nobody was killing themselves? If you were angry or depressed, you just listened to heavy metal and walked around town. Remember that? Yes. But man. We're sick, though. There's something poisoning us. Do you agree with that? I know the government know what it is. You know, because death is profitable. You know. People cash in insurance and all that shit. Death is very profitable. Even at the morgue dude, my buddy frickin' died. They put they put new shoes on him, charge his family three hundred bucks. I'm like, bitch, he's wearing them for fifty minutes. Just get a rental. And they got a whole fresh payer. That's crazy, man. But I agree there's something the government knows, man. So now people are gonna have to rise up, something's gonna have to happen. Do you believe that people have that in us still or do you think that's the I believe this. I believe there's some people, even if the elite people, they have the money, they have the resources to live longer healthier. You know? Imagine being 90 and living healthy, you can still run, you can still fuck, you can still do things for your family. Exactly. Yeah, I feel you. You think that's possible for some people right now in their high. Now absolutely right. The bullshit values now, all this medicine and all this shit, nigga, they can't, it's just crazy. Yeah. Feel young. That's so that's why I be going fighting again, do I feel good. Next thing they're gonna give you something. They kinda got now. That then you sniffing it makes you smarter. What is it? I don't know what it is. Well listen. You're laughing now, but when it comes out, you're gonna say Mike was talking about that. You'll be hitting that shit in that. I don't know if you get if you get too smart, you might have a fucking brain for that. And you're with the shit. I don't wanna know. Dude, the smarter I get, I feel like the more I heard, bro. No, but listen, um, they got stuff. Check this out. Imagine somebody say I have something to this needle that make you laugh. Thirty more years. Strong. Or make your dick for your heart for 24 hours. Or something like that. That's what people are working at. Whatever our biggest um kinks are. Right. It'll be sex. They give you a shadow no more alcohol in your life. No more drugs in your life. It's all about the all about the needles and pills. Needles and pills. Did you were you ever a needle user or not? Well I use a lot of needles, yes, I have. Yeah, I use a lot of needles. When you go into drug use, like I've used a lot of stuff. I never use no needles. I've used like steroids, but I've never used uh Like in you know shooting uh like uh whatever it's called. Yeah, I never used it. Uh now I wish I would have smoked crack, I will say that. Stay away from crack. Really? You don't normally come back. Doesn't really watch you go crap. They don't come back. What was it? Did you ever get to smoke it? I did one thing. Oh no, so this is gonna be fucking crazy. I gotta tell you this. Please do. So one day um and I do my monthly checkup, but I'm still getting high. I'm going to get my checkup with my probation off the And he gets my probation officer. He gets my test blood test. I'm not even thinking. And he comes back, I come back, he said, um I did we just test you for um crack, but I could tell uh uh what we what they call them. Uh you call it Crack it. Oh uh Crap. What? Tweaker? Tweaker. He said, yeah, but I got I got I I had I had it in me. But he said, yeah I know a tweaker, you're not a tweaker. That's the fourth test. I said, fuck. He knew by sight? Yeah he did. I could tell Tweaker. He said, You're not a tweaker. Because it was by accident. I didn't know it was the cra. No, it was just in there. Yeah, I took it without the guy telling me. And then no, yeah, you got a fourth test, but I could tell the tweaker, you're not a tweaker. Amen. Thank you for telling me that word tweaker. Thank you for the tweaker guy. That's good stuff. I said fuck that guy gave me that shit. That's the thing. You don't know what you would get. Exactly. I'd be dead as a motherfucker. You got out before fentanyl, thank God. My wife would tell you, right? It came in the news that might died from a from a drug over toast at his party. And my wife thought that it was on the news. And now the thing I come in the house a couple hours later, my wife screamed at me, cursed at me, oh fuck. I just left the house and kept running. It was a false story? Yeah, it was news. My wife saw me and hit me. I got the house left. Gow she was pissed even if he was alive, she was pissed out of the life and her mother. And her mother her mother was pissed too? Yeah, I don't think they're crying at me. They think I'm dead. They checking morning and shit. And hospitals and uh walk through the door hi. I'm cooked up high and drunk. Yeah. Absolutely So listen I'm I'm oh I'm gonna tell this bullshit story So I can't get any sleep so I'm calling the person my nose hurt like a motherfucker right and so ah my nose I'm and so I'm calling the person And I'm saying my nose is hurt. I'm fucking I can't sleep. I've been up for four days. My nose is hurt. I got scared from my nose. She said the nose hurt. She got the cook. I said, yeah, he said, hit here. I said, wow, that feels better. I never knew I had to go call them. I should have took a hit. And numbers did that because it got um with a numb anymore to start bleeding got sore, but I had to take another hit to numb it up. Oh, Those nights are the worst, huh? Oh man. The worst, bruh did you ever have to sneak into a hospital or did you have a private doctor because how Yeah um yeah this is true Oh God listen I go to my doctor Your doctor, hold on. Let's let's say, let's get a round of applause for Mike's doctor, bro. I go to my doctor and I go back and say this is I'm a I'm a I'm a lady spill with my doctor and I'm a quick cocaine right now. And I'm and he's checking me, right? Giving me You know, check it out. And he said, how you doing? I said, Doc, you know, I'm feeling bad. I need to quit. And he said, What? I said I need to quit cooking. He said, really? I said, Yeah, he said, You have some more in you? I said, Yeah. Can I have some? I said, fuck. My mother's not my children's life. And I'm like, fuck. I'm trying to get help. I'm talking to the doctor about I got a problem with you have the money now. Can I have some? And I took it he Was that Blue Cross Blue Shield? No. No, I go to I go to rehat now, right? They put me in rehat. And I this is what I do. The guy that the rehab staff guy comes up here and he tells me all the rules. And then I try to be a good guy, give him my Coke, the last bit of Coke. I was doing Coke before I came. You know, when I before you go rehab, you get really hot. Yeah. So I gave him the Coke. I really wanted to get filled. I gave him the Coke, my last Coke. I think I got some Coke. Oh, he had some. Then he went, and then next time I saw him, he started acting funny. And then I took my coke. I wanted to be a good person and give it up. The motherfucker took my coke. So I said, hey man, you took my fucking coke. You gotta start letting me have girls come over here for let me have girls come over that. After rehab? Yeah. What? My way on my children's life, man. Oh I can't make shit like this up. We had guy feel he's got coke. And I think and I give us no I don't want to get high. I'm gonna try to let the clean. This nigga go away from he comes back acting weird. I think I know this motherfucker that take my coat. I was got mad because I actually kept that shit then. Type shit. Oh man, I got so fucking mad. Dude, I'll tell you this freaking story. So one time my friend, we're getting out of a Uber, he dropped some Coke, right? And I didn't know he did Coke. And I didn't know I did Coke, right? I'm in there. So I pick his Coke. I had never seen it before. I just saw this little bag and it I registered pretty quick this is probably cocaine, right? And so we go inside, we're staying at my buddy Kevin's house. Um we go inside and he starts saying, hey, will you help me look for something? But he won't he won't tell me what it is. Because he doesn't want me knowing that he's what it is. Yeah, yeah, that's what it is. So I keep sneaking off and doing the code because we're looking really hard, right? Bro, after like two hours he goes to sleep. I'm still looking for the shit and doing it, bro. And I forgot what I was even looking for, but I kept looking, bro, because that's who I am. I'm committed. I'm that motherfucker that will ride with you, Mike. I gotta tell you this story about cocaine, okay? Okay. I'm in first I'm in Jamaica. And I leave Jamaica, I hang out Jamaica, hang out there. And I go to Cuba for very close hour, half an hour. Did you get to meet Fidel in Cuba or not? No, interesting though. Check this out. So I'm in Cuba, right? I'm hanging out. And so guy me. Hey, you're my type, right? Yeah. Yeah Hey things wrong. Yeah, money I have lots of money, yeah. You need a girl. This is a possibility. Yes, I do. You're fucking genius. He takes me around it's nothing but bricks and rocks and band. Disgusting. And I'm like, I think this guy's setting me up to give Mugda something here, right? And all of a sudden, this beautiful girl, she had ragged the clothes, she comes out of this fucking declap. The lapidated building that got hit by a bomb. Nobody lives in there. This all the badness she and she comes out. I said, What the fuck? Wow. Yeah, but this is why I'm talking about Casser. You know, um the natives there were unable to live, they can't go in the hotels there. The people that live in the residents? Because they don't want to talking to people that are visiting? I don't know, but they're not allowed to go in the hotel. Yeah, it was really nice. I think I had a fight. Yeah, I do bottles. I didn't get arrested or nothing. Telling people leave me alone. Let me do what I want. Damn. Anybody else that's been throwing bottles and stuff when Cuba they would have got fucked up. They'd have been in the hospital, then they'd have been in the infirmary. Then they would have been jail. Like why you know I'm saying like they I don't even know, first of all, did they even at the time have Black people in Russia. Yes. Did they really? Because they never put them on like the websites or anything. No, they came to Russia around 1909. You know, um And they've been I met black Ukraine, I met black Washington, really amazing. Wow, yeah. Cause you probably wouldn't even think that would have happened, right? No until they start talking. Yeah. Wow. Dude, that's cool. That's one cool thing about traveling sometimes, bro. This is the truth. They might see somebody that looks like you and their their mother might be black and their father might be white or something. African or something. Well you just realize that like, oh, there's so many people out there. Like when I was in my little town, I thought was only gonna be people in our town, right? Let me tell you something about Russian people and Ukrainian people, right? Yeah. Listen, no, yeah, listen. Um I'm up there right. And so we got some call girls. Supposedly call girls, eh? Some call girls? Yeah, supposedly call girls the excuse the escort. They're callers. Yeah. And listen, I'm saying to myself, I want to talk to my friend and um Yugoslavia. She talks Yugoslavia. She calls them there. I want to talk to a friend that's staying in China. She talks to the China. The common call girl was speaking around seven languages. A call girl in America can't even speak English. You can't speak a home lady. Call girl speak seven like that. I'm trying to think, how can I get this girl from here to America? I'm telling you. She speaks eight languages and stuff. She's a call girl? Dang. I'm like, whoa. And women here, they barely will even learn even one language or even one and a half languages. They're not even gonna learn how to cook. Yeah. Dude, some women can barely use it even emojis. Yeah. I don't know you that either. Yeah. But still you shouldn't have to, dude. You're Mike Tyson, man. No, I'm just saying women here have it made. Women here have it made it made. The other countries nothing. Yeah. I guess yeah, I guess I don't realize how bad like w women have it pretty bad. Japan you you see mostly women are damn further than Japan because they killed their other men. Because they're so peaceful a lot of times. We had a Japs Japanese uh substitute teacher. And he didn't even say anything to us because he didn't want to bother us. That's how nice he was. We didn't learn anything. Well he we didn't learn anything for four days because he he he was he was he didn't even want to bother us. Um You fought in Japan against who was it? Two fights in Japan. Totally tough. Boston Douglas. That's when you won the championship? I lost the championship. Oh damn. Sorry. I have 40 million dollars. You got 40 million dollars? 35 years. Wow. Same shit though. Yeah, rounded even. Yeah. Dude, that's so wild, bro. But but before that fight you weren't were you training as hard or were you just like living the life? I was living the life but um he fought a great fight. Yeah he fought a great fight. Dude I remember we were like I was living in Charleston, South Carolina at the time and Somebody bought the fight with like a projector and they projected it on the side of like a building and everybody came downtown and watched it, dude. It was awesome, bro. It was a good time, man. It was like uh when you fought, it was like it brought everybody, it was like watching the challenger blow up. Everybody showed up, you know? The challenger did well. Remember that? A wife the whole toe in the whole day wiped it over and over the That's like those guys that went in the water with the subman and combus with his sun down. But they went down there in a fucking Mac nugget. You know that's just gonna happen, dude. Bro, it said cutlass on the side of it. It was a delta 88. I'm like, you gotten that bitch? They just like I don't want it I shouldn't say that they're good they they got they got smashed they didn't even feel it didn't even feel it that's tight boy because I hate even getting in a small shirt you ever put a small shirt on and you can't even get out of it being in small shit If you might title. Yeah. Dude, I went to Hulk's funeral, man. Did you really tell me about that. It was pretty special, man. Like well, it was a lot of things. It was like that. Right outside of Tampa. Right outside of Tampa. And um Well one thing that was interesting, Jim McMahon was there, but nobody knew he was there. And then at one point he came out uh Like uh McMahon. Yeah. You ever met Jim McMahon that's his father. No, Jim McMahon was a quarterback for the Chicago Bears. Remember him? Oh he's a badass. Yeah, he won. Yeah, he had that mullet dude. He showed me his frickin' butt hole one time and in uh Palm Springs at a casino for no reason. No, it was the reason. It was the reason. He figured you out. He figured you out. He then think of a quarterback. But look at this receiver. But anyway, you're right. Tell me about him showing you that but that how does that appear? What what caused it? Well nobody was expecting it. It was just like a regular night. And um Have you ever hung out with him before? I never met him before. And he was drinking beers and he kept he was saving all the cans, I think because he was like He's like a um what's it called when you care about the nature when you're like a um asshole. He was don't be saying that have a lawsuit, you saw his asshole. I saw it. It was dark. I mean but did McMahon you're welcome to come on and have a lawsuit that this man saw your asshole. What? Dude, why you said you saw the asshole he may think differently. Well look. He may say if that was a cheek, that wasn't an asshole. Mike is working in now you working for a an attorney's office. Was it a cheek or an asshole? I don't know, man. Damn, you tricked me. I just said I don't know. I knew it was a little while ago. You're right, I'm not sure. It was shadowy out, but I do remember we're by the pool. And it was nighttime. But anyway. He had saw him open up some cheeks, right? Right, but everything in my Just like mind, I guess, thought there was an asshole. No Come on guys No, he wasn't saying anything like that. He was telling a joke about uh uh his ex girlfriend or something, and then he said uh and then he said the punchline, I don't remember it, and then he just kind of showed his showed his butthole at the end. The running back he said, Come run up in the end, who's the running back for yourself. Uh who was the running back at the time? It wasn't Peyton, was it? No. Sayers? No. Sayers was earlier. Was it? No, was it really? And 85 bears was Peyton? Well in here, big Palter come on. Come on, Walter. Get over here, Walter. I didn't mean to see it. But yeah, anyway, let's move on. But here's what I'm saying is. So Vince McMahon comes out there. Nobody knew he was at the funeral. And it was wild because they had guys like beef too have been that. Yeah, well I think over the years they'd had a lot of issues, right? But a lot of my favorite wrestlers were there and they were kind of broken down, you know, some were in wheelchairs and some were like um Some were some people had urns of other like uh of guys who had passed on, they had their asses just they brought 'em. Um but Vince McMahon and he did like he played Hulk's music and he did all like a lot of his like things, you know. And then he made like a speech and then he disappeared. But uh But it was it was everything. It was like You know, he was so much of my childhood. He was like one of the first person that I ever saw. Like in our neighborhood, like a lot of people didn't have anything, but when wrestling came on, it felt like you had something. I don't know why, right? It's like a soap opera for kids. Yeah. You know, we know the story, they double team them, they cut them up, they cut them seed, they jump through them over the rope. Yeah. Yeah, all of that. But it but anyway, so that was like our heel. We know it's the storyline. But we as kids we thought it we I think you believe it's so real. It was so good. So that was like one one of our that was one of our heroes. So to go was just, yeah, I don't know, it was pretty special. And his son like gave a speech. It was nice, man. It was just But it didn't feel like he passed away because he's was he's so much larger than the other. Yep, and I'll tell you this, when when I met you downstairs and I got to shake your hand, I was like that's the that's the strongest person I'd ever like. Could we give us like a mini hug? I said that's I walked out, I said that's the strongest person I've ever given a mini hug to. The second strongest was Hulk Hogan. Really? Yep. Hulk Matthew. Man, he was a big star. He's just such a big star. You could never imagine how big he was. Who was like a hero to you like that, like a in the in-hup. Um Bruno San Martino. Bruno San Martino? That's my hero, my guy. Wow. He could be the champion for 12 years. Yeah, he could be the everybody. He was champion, listen, I was seven until I was like, what, seven shh, like 20 almost. Yeah, he was a legend, man. Yeah. I got to interview one of the Von Ericks one time, Kevin Von Eric. I don't know if you remember. They died at the four. Yeah. Oh I'm listening, man. I'm a historian. Don't play with me, man. Yeah. Ask me some questions. I'm a historian. I have read actually that you like studied a lot of like uh like you really enjoy like philosophy like uh Tolstoy, um Alexander the Great. Um who were some like famous warriors that you admire the most kind of in history? Oh all of them like Hilly, the Alexander, the Hannibal, there was just El Cid, there was just so many different concepts. You say, why do you want to do this? Because no way feminine want to be God. They believe if I control all the world, if I control the world, I'm a God. And if at the end of the day, they were they were nothing. You know? But can you even relate to that? Like did you ever have a time in your life where you're because our ego is one of the scariest things, right? No. You can only play with the thought of it. Yeah. Only way you're God, if you if you you live forever, you're immortal. You know, but we have demigods now. Now we have uh we have authors that turn people into gods. Like what do you mean by that? Um some people would never be forgotten, Napoleon and all these guys. They're part of history. We can't know our history if we don't know these people. That's what makes them godly. Oh only if we know them. You'll never get to know them unless you read about them. Did you like, what was one of the toughest times you ever had with your own ego? Cause ego is just so scary, right? I don't know, my ego is So um I wasn't so I don't know how even to say I just want to do better than before. I don't think I have Yeah, no, I do think I'm Alexander to go, sometimes I think I am. And what are you talking about? Like you do like you dressing up in the bedroom, what you doing a little role playing? And on that ATG hat it says ATG on it? No, it's just that the way I conduct myself. He was a cancer tomorrow, Alexander. And what his downfall was he's moody. I learned that and I let my moods control my feelings. He was really moody. That was a downfall. What helped you like have discipline like you say say something like that you noticed about yourself. What helped you create like some little disciplines like that like that? Um the best way to receive discipline is to do what you hate to do, but to do it like you love it. You do that. And is that something you really practiced? That's all I practiced my whole life. Even now. Did you always love fighting or did you hate fighting or No, I love the I've loved I love the concept of fighting. I love the the fighters. I was so I wanted the greatest fighter of the world to know my name. I was I would you know I would be on my knee, kiss their hands, kiss their feet. I love them, I worship them. I believe they touch me they have need for magic on me. So I was going to be around. I carried their bag for them. I gave them money when I became a big time fighter, I always gave them money because they know me broken down and have no money. You know most of that dementia, so I always gave them money to care to. Gave it and took it away if they got that dementia. You feel me to run it right back. But um paying homage, you're saying. Yeah, because if I didn't even see these guys, I wouldn't want to be who I am today. These guys inspired me to be fighter. I don't want to be nothing else. Even though I thought that they turned out I normally would turn out like these guys with nothing begging. I still wanted to be a fighter. I don't care. I wanted to be with that kind of I wanted to be in that fraternity. That's so interesting to hear. Yeah, and I I never think about that. It's like Yeah, like I didn't just we didn't just come up with the idea of ourselves all by ourselves. Like there was so much influence and people that did something before us that like let us no matter what our job is or what our thing is that we like to do in life. That's interesting, man. I forget about that sometimes. Like yeah sometimes I get I don't get stuck there much, but sometimes it'll be like oh I'm like yeah I made me. Do you ever think about who you are? How you really got here? What you really consist of Is there something more than you Are we going to see each other again at another time? Are we living in parallel life? Is this right here going on somewhere else in life? We have so much energy we don't even know about ourselves. We know everything else, but we know nothing about us. Oh yeah, dude. I didn't like Yeah. Most of my life I wasn't even me, I was just I was just like some survival mechanism that had started off. Does that make any sense to you? That's the first thing that happened. Self preservation starts first. And then once we get 58, then we try to figure everything else out. Yeah. Yeah man, it took forever. Like it took me probably thirty years just to exhale, you know? I understand. Understand. And then it's scary because there's times I thought, man, like I don't even know if I'm wanting to be like a funny guy. I might need to be wanted somebody that worked at like a um clothing, like a haberdasher or whatever, or like a singer but I but I but that was the first thing that I could get people to like. You get attention. Yeah. I see you. And so I could like I was just I there was n I didn't have another choice. That formed everything I was, you know. I wanted to be seen so much I was a little baby and my mother and a friendly was having fun drinking. I put my finger in the drain, or put it in my mouth. And I wanted them I started screaming and they would grab me and took me to the hospital. But I wanted that attention at such a young age. Yeah. Oh I love going to the hospital, dude, because They had good food back then, too. And they give you attention, bruh. Yeah. Dude, they had a couple ladies would come in and care about you. Even a gay dude, they slip in there every now and then. But still, bro, that Jim McMah. Love is love, I think. Hey, bro. Love is love. I got a question, Mike, uh did did anybody ever Because I just got back from Lexington, right? Lexington, Kentucky, and the they have the the Derby race there. And it's a beautiful place. We just saw a special for Netflix actually that's coming out uh in like about two months. So I'm excited about that. But did anybody ever approach you to buy your semen? And I mean that honestly. And I don't mean that in like a negative word. No, I gave it away free. Why didn't they want to buy it? H Dude, we're giving our busted ass semen away out here. You over there, dang, bruh. What I had no idea they were selling, they were buying. Dude, he'd be a billionaire by now. Bro, as long as you can still warm up a batch, bro, you can sell it at the merch stand over here. Well if I was thinking I wouldn't. That's true. I could give her the couple ounces for you out back at this joint today, man. I'm happy the way my life is now. Yeah. What's what's a few things before we go Mike, what's a few things that make you uh that bring you some of the most joy that you have today? And that can be something small, it could be anything. If my children don't have to live the life that I live, that's the only thing that I feel I care about. Is it? That's all I care about. Yeah, is that something that's and this might even make them strong, but I won't take the risk. It might kill them too. Wait, say that one more time for me. I say it might even make them strong. It might kill them too. Oh to have to go through the same stuff. Yeah. Yeah. I don't want to take the chance. I like the way they live in there. Yeah. Well you did it. Yeah, a lot of help. A lot of help. Yeah. Yeah, we don't do it alone. Excuse me. No, no way. No way. You realize real quick when you have children. You need help. Yeah. You need a lot of help. Um thank you so much for joining us today, Mike. I want to say that. You have a uh one you have a one man show that's gonna be try that's a live show that your wife wrote, is that right? Yes she did. Wow. And did she have to get you to sign off? Did y'all do some teamwork or what was it? Sign off for what matter that this is her work and I don't get any money for it? What do you mean, sign up? Did she just like say or was it like did you guys like how do you put that together because it's interesting that she would write it? Is it just about dark shit, you know, and we felt well. Yeah. Um love it when you hear the mid the midges story. You got a good one in it? Oh and it's in the it's in the show? Oh yeah. Save some of the yeah, I'm gonna I'll you know what I'll come out to one? Yeah, check this out, man. I'll come out. I'll even come on stage and just listen to it. I'll put on something little. For you. Not for you, for the just I'm gonna I'm just wearing about Lou. Lulu works. I know. You gonna wear thong? No, no, bruh. I'm gonna say in a small shirt. But you have that one man show that's gonna be and that's gonna be a tour. We'll see. Okay. We'll see how much they're paying me for it. We'll see. And you have uh and you have your um documentary that's coming out on Netflix. Yes, I do. You do. If um I know every fucking thing about it. I know. I don't know. We learned a lot tonight, dude. Um if Cus if if Cus Domano could see you all now and see your whole life, right? If he could see your whole life, you know, and just get to spend some time with you today. Do you think like what would be something that you would like to like a moment you would like to s see with him or or have him say? What do you think would be something that he'd be impressed by? I would say Clef. A by the worst of them the best ever, what do you think? What do we think, guys? No what he would say. No what Clem would say. What would he say, mate? You didn't move your head enough. If that guy with a little fast, he would've hit you. And that guy with a little fast, he would have hit you. Yeah. That guy with eight seconds. He was a little fast. Had your head up. Um man, thank you so much for sharing your time with us today, my uh for bringing your family here today, just for the opportunity that we get to see you.
