Welcome to Vict or Davis Hansen in his own words on the Daily Signal Network. I'm Jack Fowler. So we are recording on Sunday, june twenty eighth , twenty twenty six. It's four thirty in the afternoon here on the east coast . Not a bad day today actually sunny day. Victor is back home in the Central Valley , California . This episode will be up on Tuesday , june thirtieth, Victor like every day we're going to talk about Iran because X happens and then why happens and between the now when we're talking and Tuesday maybe other things will happen, but Donald Trump has well, let's just say the Iranians have violated this agreement . We have well, I want to hear you have to say about Caitlyn Clark and the WNBA. We've never talked about her , but it's, I think, an important cultural issue developing. We have a lot of Democrat insanity post election, Tuesday elections , hair on fire stuff, a couple of farm related iss ues, water as a weapon , and Americans who don't want our lands, our farmlands sold to foreigners. So plenty of stuff to get victors' wisdom on. We'll do all that when we come back from these initial important messages. For two hundred and fifty years, America has been a bastion of freedom. As we look ahead to the next two hundred fifty, we're reminded that freedom is ours to defend. Today, Alliance Defending Freedom stands in courtrooms across the country to protect those freedoms we cherish life, free speech, religious freedom, parental rights. These freedoms are at the core of who we are as a nation and they must be preserved ADF is approaching a critical fiscal year end fundraising deadline. Your support today helps ADF defend these freedoms so they may endure for many years to come. Every dollar you give will be doubled thanks to a special matching grant while funds last. We're back with Victor Davis Hansen and in his own words. By the way, Victor also has show on the Daily Signal, Victor Davis Hanson. In a few words, he does have four times a week. Check it out folks. So Victor gosh on Iran , a couple of headlines, Iran strikes back . This is yesterday with targets to US military sites in Kuwait and Bahrain in the latest test of peace deal . Then Iran puts out a note, a message , whatever. Iran must , yeah, here's what it says. Iran has no choice but to develop a nuclear bomb, a media outlet linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said the latest threat to the U. S. organized peace deal, the article titled No Choice but to build the atomic bomb claims that Iran must negot iate with its enemies from a position of strength and was published by Iranian state news outlet Farz on Sunday, this is today . And then one last thing, Victor, Donald Trump went on truth social and this, is what he wrote today , early today . United States aircraft just struck Iranian missile and drones, storage locations and coastal radar sites for violating the ceasefire agreement. Again, all Citalap Letters exclamation point. It is very possible that they will never learn There may come a point when we are no longer able to be reasonable and will be forced to militarily complete the job that we very successfully started. If that happens, the Islamic Republic of Iran will no longer exist, President DJT. Victor, what do you have to say to all of that? Well, we know what their strategy is it's to hit a little bit, take a deep breath , then think that we will not hit dual use targeting , and then we'll take out something proportionally, which more or less we did . It was disproportionate to give Trump credit. It was more than what they had done. And then they're going they're going to stop for a while. And then the republic the Islamic Revolutionary Guard is going to call up the politicians say, We're going to issue some really crazy stuff and this is going to get them all upset . And then we're going to announce that we're going to control the whole strait , even I mean, these tankers that they tried to hit were right next to the Arab Gulf states. They're saying that they have control . And the level of violence necess ary for us for the United States to stop us, i. e. get all of our missiles and get all of our mine layers is incompatible with Trump's strategy of getting the price of oil and therefore gas down and then appealing to the fifty six percent support this negotiation . So we think we have him over a barrel . And Trump's attitude is, I've got to contain this and play tit for tat albeit disproportionately until I get the price of gasoline down. The economy will be recovered, public opinion will be either neutral on it or pro what I'm doing in time for the midterms . So the only solution that I see is something as I keep like a broken record saying is that he should follow the Bill Clinton dual targeting strategy. I mean, it didn't work at all in Serbia in two thousand excuse me, nineteen ninety nine until Bill Clinton took the gloves off and said, We're going to hit your bridges. And they said it didn't work, mister Clinton. And they said, Okay, we're going to hit your power grid. And we're very sorry that it inconvenience the people of Belgrade , but you have a dictator and he's killing people . So I think what he's going to have to do is from now on disproportionate because that's really going to hurt them . And it may be hurt the people, but the people , I think, are at the point now where they don't think they're going to ever come back out in the street with this government in power and standing off the United States. So I would think that the next time around he should and he probably will hit a lot of bridges, highway overpasses , things that just parallel paralyzes the transportation system that the military uses. He would probably look at the grid and see where certain bases underground facilities, where do they get their energy and he'll probably hit them. I don't think he'll hit the water or sewage given they're in a drought and everything like that. But I think he's going to have to hit dual use transportation systems and then I think that will get their attention very quickly. Victor, I shouldn't reveal things you'd said to me offline, but you did give a talk this weekend to some , let's just say diplomati types, Europeani types. Yes, I did. Stay back at Hoover. I'm curious what their did they discuss? You must have , they must have opin non stop about Iran, but is there any collective general position or is it that were they Weenies or were they supportive of America ? I think there's they like America, but they are not fond of Donald Trump . And therefore, they were very skeptical at first of me. But one person from a country I won't mention, but is kind of known for standing up to the United States in a performance art fashion said to me , well, the reason we're mad is that you didn't consult us when we were when you did this , and then you wanted to use our bases in our airspace . And I said, well, we didn't consult you because I guess we thought there was a good chance , A that you would leak it . And then B , you'd say no anyway . And he nodded his head when I said that. I said, Yeah, we would have said no. So I said, What would be the point if you had given us signals in advance ? We know what Merch said that it wasn't his war, we heard the Spanish Prime, we heard Macron. We heard all of you guys , Stormer . And then I said, and I guess we thought naively it was in your interest since you're in missile range now. I've looked at maps given the Diego Garcia attack . If you use that radius, almost all the European capitals are in range of Iranian ballistic missiles . So I thought you would be pleased. I guess they thought you'd be pleased that you don't have to do anything as usual . And this rogue regime that's been blackmailing you all of a sudden will be eliminated as a threat to you . And he was kind of you know he couldn't and then The friendliest well put it this way . I thought the people there's a lot of people who were very skeptical of Erdog and what he's doing. I think a lot of people felt if you're going to do this, you should arm the people somehow or the Kurds or something or you're going to you need a popular uprising When you tell them the truth , I said to them , Oh, they asked me a lot of questions about JD Vance and his lectures to your That was very common . And I said, I don't think he's saying that you're crazy. I think he's saying that we tried all of this. We had an open border under Biden and Obama, basically . We have fifty three million people who were not born in the United States. They're not fully assimilated. Some are legal, some are on green cards. The majority are illegal, sixteen percent , sort of like your countries . And we tried the green subsidies stop federal leasing, put Anwar off the table , Keystone . And we did defund the police and we did DEI and it didn't work. And we take respons ibility that we infected you with these crazy ideas. They came from America and they reverberated all through Europe. So all I think Vance is basically saying, don't make the same mistake that we did . And that's why your conservative movements are starting to emulate Trump because they think that and if you disagree with me, then tell me why electricity is four times the cost in Germany and almost three times in Britain when Germany's got huge amounts of coal and did have a lot of nuclear plants, shut them down , and Britain could go out in the North Field, North Sea still . And tell me why you're unarmed now, and to degree you are armed, it's largely because Trump went into a Trump fit, did his annex, crude, you guys can all document his crude identity. You always do . So those were the kind of and my point was it was there was no argument you're lying to me or that's not true. Yeah . It's tough it'd be tough for them to admit that they are Weenies , you know ? They want I said something that was very controversial . I said, You may love Obama and you may love Biden , but Trump took a lot of hit. I know he got in fights. They mentioned Zelenskyy a lot. I said, he was the one that let Zelenskyy have no restrictions on his targeting . So those drones that are going into Moscow were not happening under Obama. I mean Biden and he sold them offensive weapons. And we're up to one hundred twenty billion billion dollars right now . And so you guys like left wing Democrats. I understand that. They're eurofills and they love you . But if you get in a jam, if he decides Putin decides to go into the low countries or Scandinavia , You'd be better off with a conservative Republican because he would do something. Even Trump would do something, but I'm not sure the others would. And then the question's about Greenland . Why did he want to invade Greenland? And you know, we were armed ready. I said you weren't armed ready. You had about fifty troops there. It was all performance art . Denmark was run over in three days in World War two . It was a very wonderful place and it tried to do a lot to help Jewish people that other European countries didn't do . But that said, it's huge colonial. And I said, you know, it's colonial power and you're kind of a European country with a colony in North America. American North Americans have been very sensitive about that for the last two hundred and fifty years. Yeah . So when I said it's closer, Greenland's closer to New York than it is to Copenhagen. But all of that said, in World War two we gave you back the country that you lost, handed it back to you . And then we tried to just as we stop the Nazis from taking it , and they would have taken it. We stop the Russians in the Cold War, and now Trump wants to stop the Chinese and the Russians from basing there or using it for missile defense, whatever they want. They could walk right into tomorrow if it wasn't for us. And he doesn't think that he's getting credit for that . So he wants to bully you and then you're going to concede that he will have lifelong bases or ninety nine and that's what we have. And I said, It's just like Panama. He was never going to take the Panama Canal back . But now we don't have the Chinese as entrenched in the entries and exits . And he was never going to take Alberta or Canada's We don't want Canada as a fifty first state . We don't want to go further to the communist socialist left. We want to give New York and California to Canada. We don't want to take it. I like Canada but, Canada hasn't been Canada hasn't been run by a sane person since Stephen Harper who was a wonderful prime minister . I know him. He's a wonderful guy he. And was always trying to get Canada better relations with the U. S., get up to two percent defense spending , recover its lost commitment to deterrence that it had in World War two and the Cold War , close the borders and be flexible on discussions of trade surpluses . And the rest of you people in Canada haven't done that. So Trump did what he did to Greenland and he did what he did to Panama and now guess what ? It seems like you're discussing the trade surplus. You're saying you're going up to two percent and you might go up to five And just maybe maybe Carney said the other day he wants to make America great . And so it was that type of discussion. Yeah . That was the first time I've been back at work and I still have a few problems health wise. So I don't know how effective I was. I started out stronger, but they were actually very nice people, all of them. They were from, I think, thirty different European countries . And HR McMaster was the chairman, and he was very sober and judicious and fair to everybody. And the point was to air differences . And he had a series of speakers. My turn was on Thursday . And that was I didn't know how, you know, I've had a couple of shaky incidents lately. So I didn't know how it would go over, but apparently we had a long Q and A and I didn't know what they were going to ask, but it was what you would expect. If I said to you, Jack, what do you think Europeans would ask an American It wasn't , oh, we're so happy about the World Cup and we see how much you love us. Not that. No. These were diplomatic people and attaches and things like that. Intelligence. Well, I assume their air is that they tolerate America even though we said that to them. I said, I think we're a little tired of being Roman legions to your Greek philosophers And then I said, If you want to arm yourself , we want that. I mean, we've had to go with her three times, so give us a break. We're a little skeptical . But if you want to arm yourself and take care and be this we can be Rohan and you can be Gondor and we'll come to your aid , but you can be the bastion of Western civilization. You invented it. Just like oscified calcified gondor . Own it, baby. All right, well Victor , America's big bir thday is coming up soon. A couple of days, folks and we will be celebrating our founders victory over tyranny and the birth of the republic they founded to ensure and protect the individual rights of Americ ans. But you know what's crazy? two hundred and fifty years later, we're drinking whatever the government decided to put in our water without our consent . Fluoride for your teeth, chlorine to keep things clean. That's not a decision some unaccountable bureaucrat should be making for American families , which is why you should use cove pure to purify your water. And if you're watching this, as opposed to just listening, I got over my left shoulder , there's my cope . Always keep it. Always keep it close. Over two hundred nine million Americans are on fluoridated water right now, and here's what the science actually shows. A recent study confirmed that the fluoride that fluoride exposure is linked to lower IQ scores in children. That study is from Jama Pediatrics, one of the most respected medical journals in the world. And chlorine, when it reacts with natural particles in the water from plants and soil, it creates chemical byproducts called THM's , which the government itself calls probable human carcinogens, linked to disruption of your gut and canc er. Sure states are moving on this, Utah, Florida, they banned the fluoride, but that process takes years. Your kids, your family, they're drinking this water today . You need something that works now and that's exactly what COVID pure is. It's certified to remove up to ninety nine point nine percent of contaminants . That's fluoride, THM's, pharmaceuticals, microplastics, PFAs, anything that isn't water gets filtered out. On top of all that Cove Pure makes water taste like good, clean water, not a cup filled with from your local pool. So Cove Pure gives you water just how you want it, when you want it. So don't wait for the government to catch up. Take back control of your water and in honor of America's two hundred fiftieth Covid Fore is giving listeners of Victor Davis on, in his own words two hundred fifty dollars off. If you use the link cove re dot com slash VDH don't wait. That's Covere C O V PURE . com slash VDH and we toast the good people of Covid for sponsoring Victor Davis Hansen in his own words, Victor was just very conscious that I keep saying water . But I am New York. That's how we say water. I like the reference to bureaucrats because I was watching Fauci's clip they're airing it this morning . And they have all these clips where he said under no circumstances, this is absurd. I couldn't it's impossible. We did not aid or fund gain in function research . And we know now that he was giving money to Peter Dasick to do just that . But and then we learned that he had a pardon exemption for ten years of on defined behaviors . And Rand Paul said we've never the only person that's ever had a blanket pardon like that without specifying anything they've done wrong. You can't go back for ten years and look at anything they've done is Hunter Biden . And then he said they were he was looking at it to see whether this was an autopin pardon via, you know, an aid . He was actually suggesting, Jack that Joe Biden hadn't reviewed the history of Fauci and was not intimate with the details and therefore did not make that decision . But Fauci, I think is going to be in trouble because they're going to ask him again under oath , did you or did you not engage and gain in function research, or did you aid, fund, help, send instrumentation or expertise to Wuhan for that type of research ? If he lies now in twenty twenty six He's not exempt . So I would imagine that he would say something like, I misunderstood the question . Yes, some people might interpret what I did as that. That's what he'll probably try to say, but I don't think he'll deny it. Well he's this science. I don't know how he could misinterpret anything. So I mean they've got they've got his email. So if he if he denies it, they'll call him up for perjury . That his name is on a building at Holy Cross . Our mutual alma mater just whatever. All right, so Victor, you mentioned JD Vance and the great editor and boss of the daily signal, Rob Lewis, folks just one of the nicest men on the planet. He asked me if I would pose this to you . And this is about J D Vance comparing himself to Richard Nixon as in the Wall Street Journal articles of Per Vance comparing himself to former president Richard Nixon minimized the scandal that took down the disgraced president decades ago , saying the theft and coverup wouldn't end a presidency if it happened in today's vast moving news cycle. If Watergate happened tomorrow, it would be a twelve hour news story, the vice president said on Thursday at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library in Yorkland The idea that it would take down a presidency is crazy. Vance likened himself to Nixon who resigned in nineteen seventy four after he lost support of Congress over the scandal. Young senator, vice president , writes some best selling books, is hated by the media. It sounds like JD Vance. I always like Richard Nixon. Any your thoughts on JD Vance with this Nixon comparison or anything else related to Well, I think it's pretty clear that Nixon didn't know about the original break in. Right. These were kind of fanatics at the RNC . And John Dean and all of these people were involved and they turned state's evidence . So anyway , I lost sorry . Oh sorry yeah me start over yeah it cut out let me start it's pretty clear that he did not Richard Nixon did not start know of the original break in to the DNC , but it did his underlings were involved once they heard about it to contain it rather than to expose it . And at some point he was aware of the effort to not be completely truthful about it. Now Now , as we know, we have a lot of presidents have not been Bill Clinton was impeached not convicted, but impeached for lying under and he was also prosecuted for lying under oath and disbarred . But in any case , Nixon, what Watergate did was it nullified how do I say it? It nullified the seventy ' two elect ion, which was I think the largest popular vote, not the electoral vote, the largest popular vote victory in history . It was sixty, I don't mean in history, but in modern history. Going way back I don't know Benjamin Herrick sa Haney kicking a big judge. It was sixty point eight of the popular vote slightly more than LBJ got over I think I'm just doing this by memory. So here you have this people. The have spoken . And then a year later , you know , the press is going wild . And Deep Throat, we know was Mark Feld, I think it was. He was a disaffected FBI agent that didn't get the position that he wanted . There's been some suggestion that a lot of stuff and and all the president's men was on source. Is that a polite word? Kind of exaggerated or added they editorialized. They didn't really talk to people who said that and they couldn't document that. But that said, Nixon knew that he should have just come out and said this is but the tragedy of it was in ' seventy two we had the Vietnam War. It was stable . By early mid seventy three, there was the peace talks and Nixon had said again and again, if you break the peace, air power is going to destroy you to the North Vietnamese. So the war and so what happened during Watergate, he was so hemorrhaging that they being the Democrats, seventeen times they cut off aid to Vietnam. Right. So all of that work, all that death was just . Yes, it ended a thousand plus dead Americans . And then worse yet , the Arabs and the Russians believe that by october seventy three and he was he would fire, you know, the attorney general of Friday night massacre, supposedly . He would be so weakened that he either would not respond or he would not help Israel. So there was a sense that U. S. had lost deterrence . I think after they , you know, they tried to really destroy him as a person. And well, I'm not trying I'm not trying to defend him what he did, but what I'm trying to say is that I think what they did was disproportionate. There had been a way if he had said to the people he did say he'd made mistakes and he didn't know exactly what was going on, but when he got when going on, he should have fired everybody and been more he could have survived Yeah., but the media at that point, Bob Woodward was a hero and he was never to be forgiven for the for the Chamber's affair and the role, the central role he play ed in keeping that alive and and resonates he was years later . He was Ike's bad cop for eight years. Ike was a good cop and Nixon took on everybody and he was involved in the whole McCarthy thing , and they never forgave him for that. Yeah . They hated Nixon . Nixon , Nixon was in some ways a tragic empath etic character because he was very bright. He was a Quaker. He came from California , from a lower middle class, middle class family . He was a very good poker player in the Navy , very smart guy, completely self made , and the aristocracy , which at that time was a euphemism for the Kennedys , that left wing liberal aristocracy whose transgressions just dwarfed Nixon's. I mean, Nixon never took never had sex with a staffer and then went out on a bridge and drove the car into the water and then swam and let the girl die for thirty minutes of asphyxiation and then cooked up a scheme to lie about it and then when that broke down and then was given a pat on it you know tap on the shoulder and that so and then when you look at all the other things so he was a very tragic because he was a very gifted guy but he did have this inferior I don't know what it was he just he let the the left wing liberal rich cultural elite get to him Well that they slip their own throat with that a little bit Victor and well you know we should move on to other things of course you say whatever you want, but I was following, you know, I've read about this case the HIS case nauseum . And there was at some point where early on in the interrogating chambers and his that they thought chambers really didn't, like, who where's the real evidence, et cetera. Was this thing going to collapse? This is the House on American Affairs Committee. And they're interviewing His , I think it was at a hotel in New York and Hiss made a dig at Nixon . I think I'm about to drop this, but he made a dig at Nixon about that he didn't go to an essentially go to an IP and that excuse my French pissed off Nixon and that said like something this guy did something that whole case was what I was talking about because Chambers was kind of overweight , pimply , bad teeth. Was he also homosexual? He had been Yeah, yeah, he had been. And then he was, I mean, Alger looked like the typical Ivy League aristocrat . He had been at Yalta, I think, and he had been deeply in Roosevelt politics. He was beloved. He was the first head of the UN when he was formed. Yeah. Yes, he was. And when people looked at him, they said , this is Ivy League JFK character , kind of like and you can't these people, not JFK, but the Kennedy character are the Brahmins of Boston. And these people don't lie. And here we have this scrawny scrappy Nixon with, you know, Roy Cohen and it's and then we have this fat pimpley guy and it didn't it missed the that Nixon was far brighter than Alger His and Chambers was far brighter than Alger He was he was a brilliant guy. And so they were there. That really drove the left crazy . It's kind of like it has echoes with Trump that Trump can be crude. He looks, I mean his tie his complex his makeup, his hair , everything everything the Queen's Art, everything bothers the left. But when it comes to actual deal making, he's very bright . And we'll see that I think in the Denuman of this Iran deal. I think he's going to find a way to to defang these people for good and still have a shooting a I don't know a shot at the midterms. We'll see. Yeah . Well, let's we're going to get to some Democrat insanity before we do that. And before we take a break one last short topic, Victor. And I know it's not of the level of what's going on in Iran and elsewhere, but you know, this great American state fair was taking place in Washington and Pennsylvania every state has , you know, a booth of such an etc . But Pennsylvania's was abandoned because the governor and look Ph,iladelphia 's in Pennsylvania, so you would think the two hundred fiftieth they would take really embrace this. So Dave McCormack and John Fenterman, the two senators, Dave McCormack, I think is terrific. He's the Republican senator who 's very good Casey . And John Fetterman say this is stupid. Let's we're they're trying to get some of the state groups to populate that and run this, we'll call it a booth, but that governor Shapiro, Josh Shapiro is so and I think he's an exemplar here for Democrats . If something is associated with Donald Trump and the great this fair is , they will denigrate it, they will have nothing to do with it, even though it's really all about America . This is how deep their hatred for Trump goes. Any commentary on this? Yeah, I remember when Obama conducted the bin Laden raid and there were legitimate worries. You know, Biden didn't want him to do it. And that bin Laden had been sitting in Pakistan for, I don't know, months or not years and nobody did anything . But I think most conservatives applauded that. Of course they did. I remember there were people cheering in the streets of New York and Obama really capitalized on that . And you know You know , you want your country . And that was what was so shocking about all of these people, like Robert De Niro who said that he doesn't really like the United States as long as it's run by Trump. That's characteristic to the left . And Josh Yapiro is kind of like Gabin Newsom out here in California. Now he's waffling on the billionaire's tax. They're old fuddy duddies metaphorically at least. And they see these the energy is with these socialists. And I do think without being slurrying them, they are communist a lot of them because they really do talk about appropriating property or canceling debt or taking over the airlines or utilities or forcing property owners to give their property to that quote unquote people. But that is where the energy, I don't think it's where the majority of people are in the Democratic Party. And I think they carefully select blue state, blue city races and they magnify like the Bolsheviks did their appeal to create momentum. But Shapiro like he's terrified of them. So is Schumer . And Shapiro thinks that if he can stand up to Trump symbolically without, you know , any cost, he's going to do it to establish his fires with these socialists. What he doesn't understand is he's like this guy out here Jack Scott Weener. He was a state legislature. He's running for Pelosi's seat . He's infamous in California for saying that older men that have sex with underage boys, te ens should not be considered sex offenders once they've been convicted. Yeah, not put on one of these lists . Yeah . And amongst other depravities, he's backed . But he's always been he's always been proud that he's a supporter of Israel . And there were people in the Democratic . So he went to a trans thing and they a trans celebratory event. And they didn't want him there because he 's anti Palestinian. So what does he do? He now says, Oh, I've been thinking about it. And now that I think about it, I think Israel's guilty of genocide. And so this is Josh Shapiro saying, well, now when I think about it, I think they're right. We don't want to participate with Donald Trump at all, but it won't do any good for two reasons . The communist socialist mindset is to interpret any magnanimity , any admission of weakness as something to be exploited further. It's not to be congratulated. So when they see these guys buckle schumer or Shapiro or Weiner , it's going to only make it worse. And number two , the only way that a Jewish American, I'll be frank in the Democratic Party can have any type of future and it won't be great . Maybe it is a congressman will be like this guy lander that beat Hoffm an, right in New York . And you'll have to renounce all support . You'll have to say you despise a Zionist as he did. You got to be a full socialist and then maybe they'll tap you on the back and say you're okay, but I doubt it because this is an anti Semitic movement. So Shapiro think you can't reason with them, Josh Shapiro Scott Wiener, they don't care that they don't like you. They don't like you for what you do, but they don't like you for a variety of reasons. First of all, homosexuality for people in the Democratic Party who are the driving for force Palestine is intolerable. They won't allow it . And they have one of the reigns of that party. It's really an Islamic it's a socialist Islamic party, the base is . And they don't want you. And then you're Jewish . And I can't see any Jewish American ever being nominated for any position in this climate right now other than a Congressional seat or a local race . Weener was the champion of the trans movement and that he went to this rally and Victor you've seen the video and I think many of our viewers, listeners have also he the next thing that was going to happen to him was he was going to get bonked over the head. It was everything but that was he looked terrified . Yeah . And then not comparable, but yesterday in New York, there was some dikes for whatever. They had Dikes Day. They had a big parade down. Dikes on bikes. I remember that. I think they were on their feet, but lots and lots of an ti IS Palestinian so that the so that the gay movement or the let's just say the most radical and the gay slash trans movement and that whoever in that's flag with like nineteen thousand stripes on it is now embracing anti hostility to Israel and anti Semitism is I mean it's just reminds me so much of the Spanish Civil War when the real leftists were anarchist . Yeah , and they had no power, no guns or anything. They were the people who were the loyalists , so called loyalists were really socialist and sympathetic communism and they had been breaking the constitutional protocols, although they were still holding elections. And then the right, the Catholic monarchist, no fence jack , but right wing landowning aristocracy the government was really anti Christian. Oh yeah, anti Catholic. So in that civil war, the anarchists joined the loyalists , and they thought they were the creme de creme of the Leftists. And then Stalin got involved and the hardcore communists said, You know what? You just guys are waffling, you're a mess. And they started liquidating them. They shot them. Farewell to Catalonia and you can Catalonia. Yeah by Corwell Corwell. It's a phenomenal book. What do you think of you Thomas's I read it? I had that I read it when I was eighteen the Spanish Civil War. Yeah, it was it was a great a great book. It was a classic He wrote a book that I thought was his best book, but it wasn't as well received. It was a history it was called the Aztec Aztecs and it's a it's a massive book. He was a journalist, so I don't think he got the credit he deserved as a historian because he wasn't formally trained as a historian, I think . But he was a masterful writer, insightful . Yeah. He wrote about five such books that were classic . Yeah, door stops . Yeah. And they were all huge books thousand pages I felt that his book on the Aztecs was , you know, it was just did you read that for the end of everything? Was that to you? Yes. Well, I had read it for Carnage and Culture twenty, thirty years ago, but you can't put it down. Yeah. And he doesn't pull any punches about who the Aztec. It's completely devoid of either right or left propaganda. It's pretty it's pretty damning . And so my point is that it won't do Shap iro any good. You can't pacify those people. You can only defeat them . Well, we should keep on this topic Victor because there's a couple of stories worth your commentary on all in this hair on f ire Democrats reaction, but first to American homeowners. The FBI has been warning about a type of real estate fraud called title theft and your home equity is the target with just a forged signature. That's it. Protect your equity today with home title lock and we thank the very good people from home title lock for sponsoring Victor Davis Hansen in his own words. Victor, I want to back into the Democrat stuff . We'll get to the election's reaction shortly. But I know you and the great Sammy White talked the other day about the Antifa judgments in Texas where some of horrible men who shot up the I ce Detention Center were one of them received a hundred years sentence. Seven co defendants were sentenced to combined three hundred and fifty years . It was a horrible thing. But are we surprised the reaction Democrats? These sentences are a travesty and totally unjustified, but that's the point complained Democrat Rashida Taliba, Michigan on X. Americans hate the fascist Trump regime, so the only way they can try to cling to power is brute force, blah, blah blah. Then an Alec Karak anis, he's the founder of the Civil Rights Corps, he added , The sentences handed down today are a huge threat to the possibility of a democratic society. The evidence of an illegal conspiracy is non existent, but this is how the authoritarian dragnet targets those fighting against repression, et cetera . All the people that you just mentioned cheered on january sixth when they were thousands of people and a very small minority fought with the police and those that did, some of them ended up in solitary confinement with no charges for filed over a year. And they got five and six years for just being in the location. They were charging people with illegal parading . They were destroying their reputations. Anybody who was on at january sixth , if you were a local official or in a corporate, you were done for . And they said nothing. And we know that it was a buffoonish riot and it was not a conspiracy and insurrection, like these people said . But this thing , they tried to kill, I mean, they shot him in the neck. They were trying to kill IC agents, and they had planned and that they had planned across interstate lines . So this new democratic base doesn't have . Well, I mean, it doesn't have the issues. Nobody wants an open border, nobody wants to defund the police. Nobody wants a green energy. They don't want anything they have. They never talk about it. Not Platinum, not Tala Rico , nothing . All they talk about is unfairness and anger and envy and affordability and all of this stuff . And their products we'll see where the where the rubber meets the road is in Texas . We'll see if this, you know , Beto two point zero Palerico wins. I don't think he's going to win. Every day there's I mean, he's talking about trans and all this stuff. And he said he hates Christians in an interview . So I don't think and I don't I don't know Collins hasn't been dynamic in this race. She's getting on in years, but we'll see how Platin and El Said do Platin in Maine and El Said in Michigan . And they will try to disguise who they are just like Spanberger did in Virginia . They won't tell you who they are, but they are they're socialist communists. Here's Here's how Talerico was introduced that the other day the Democrats had their state convention in Texas and a guy Benjamin Flores who's their candidate for the state land commissioner . will He l ose, but here's his rallying cry. The next time they say James, he started by Talerico, the next time they say James is trans , we're all trans he was trans, that's a lie. When they say James is gay , Tofu eating vegan , we're all gay tofu eating vegans, more cheers and he finally says and when they say James is going to hell ? We'll say we're all going to hell. Maybe the first correct thing he said. Yeah, all conventions. I don't think anybody Texas has much I mean they were mad not at Puerto Rico for being vegetarian, but for describing beef in a negative fashion, which is a Texas trademark . It was an economic issue they had. And the only reason that people had brought up his sexuality was that he had bragged about and it's a phenomenon in men and women and Democrat and Republican in our societ y when you're you're in your forties or fifties or sixties and you're not a compulsive data of the opposite sex, then people , you know, ask, where's your wife? Where's your girlfriend? Where's your spouse, husband, et cetera. Right. And you know, they ask it about Tim Scott, they ask it , you know, about almost every senator , every representative single, whether it's good or not. And by the way, the left has a as good or better record of exposing people who are gay. They really do and they can be really mean about it. Or divorce, just ask Barack Obama. Yes, how he got elected. Yeah. Yeah, he got elected twice by getting rid of two candidates in the primary and the general election . And so Lindsey Graham, they go after them all the time, the left does . And the left went after Tim Scott. I don't know what their sexuality. I don't care, but they went after them. So Talorico said he had a girlfriend , but she's never appeared. So all she has to do is appear , I guess . And say, you know, we're dating and then, you know, he lives with his he is on his mother's bank account, I should say and he's got the what I call the socialist smile like Mandami. You know , they show their teeth, they smile , they feel they're not Graham Platin or it goes over better with their audiences. But they are hardcore left and this is a Islamist, socialist Dash communist base . And it has very little support nationwide, but it's going to try to create the image that it's on the move because of its particular selected winds and blue states . Well, that has some people staying awake at night, Victor, and we'll get your thoughts on one final little batch of Democrat insanity . And then we'll talk about Caitlin Clark and we'll do that when we come back from these final important messages. We hold these truths to be self evident that all men are created equal , but they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights. But among these are life, liberty , and the pursuit of happiness . But to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men , deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed that whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it and institute new government laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form as shall to them seem most likely to affect their safety and happiness . For the support of this declaration, for the firm reliance on the protection of divine providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives , our fortunes , and our sacred honor . Sacred honor , the Declaration that defines a nation , presented by the Daily Signal, premiering on YouTube july second , twenty twenty six. We're back with Drifter Davis Hansen in his own words recording on Sunday june twenty eighth. This episode will be up on Tuesday , june thirtieth , twenty twenty six . Victor Mark Helprin was an awfully good analyst . He is. He was me too, do you remember ? Oh, I know. Yeah. Yeah . Yeah . Yeah . He wrote this it's behind a paywall but I subscribe at the Daily Mail just bear with me folks. He says, since Tuesday, this is about the elections, Democrat leaders , Chuck Schumer and Hakim Jeffrey's have dodged questions about the socialists who are almost certain to become their colleagues in the next Congress. Privately though, Democrat House members and many of the party strategists and donors that I talk to are agast. Quote, Democrats have a DSA problem and pretending otherwise is political malpr actice said the strategist who has been part of the top level party conversations for years. The DSA, Democrat Socialist America crowd, has mastered the politics of performance art. Promise everything , expl ain nothing, scream establishment when questioned, and hope nobody asks who pays the bill, they said. Quote, It's fantasy math , a dangerous public safety agenda, and too often sto king anti Semitism wrapped in moral superiority. They are driving the party further away from the American people, and if they succeed they could set the Democratic Party back decades. James Carville also went , well, he's always going whatever upset about the election results and the anti Semitism that's taking over the party. Anyway, Victor any final thoughts about this or we can move on? No, just a thought. These are socialist communists and they're very angry , they're furious and they have three reasons to be mad. They think one they have no power. They don't have the White House, they don't have the Supreme Court . They don't have the House, they don't have the Senate , they don't have a majority of House Legislatures. So they're angry . Their power is all institutional, corporate boardroom, academic, media, K through twelve, entertaining, etc . That's number one. They hate Trump too. They hate him so much that they're obsessed with him. Anything he does , they're against. They only have one weapon to stop him and that's lower court judges. That's the only thing that can stop him. These stays at these highly politicizing competent Biden judges mostly newly appointed under Biden are volunteering to and they're cherry picked by sore supported legal groups just so that's they hate Trump . And so they don't have power . They hate Trump . And the third thing is they have no they know that they don't have any agenda that appeals to people. So they have to change the system , same day voting, same day registration, all mail in ballots, no ID , get rid of the filibuster, get rid of the electoral college, get rid of the nine person Supreme Court, get bring in two new states for four senators, that kind of stuff. That's that's their whole modus operandi. Yeah . I guess one more thing I'll just throw out there, Victor because if you see one of these things, you could see a dozen of them every day on X. I saw this morning I'm like, What is wrong with these people? This is a member of the St. Paul Minnesota Public School Board, Sean Till Allen , who looks like my, you know, I know it's supposed to be a Christian and I mock people, but they all look like they're from another planet. But she writes text, tweets, whatever . I don't get why we don't just make dog parks at white Christian cemeter if white Christians are okay with it. This is a simple fix. Leave indigenous land sacred and excuse my friend here folks piss on the white corpses . This is a Democrat public offic one will say a word. No one will say a word. No one will say a word. I'm going to use the word indigenous because I was talking to a long friend of mine who was a neighbor and his family came here roughly about the same time mine did . And we don't we weren't near Tulleri Lake in the Tuli Indian tribes . There was one up in the foothills Chicanse, but out here it was so hot and desolate . And this land was on occupied in the railroad , you know, in the eighteen sixties and early seventies made a Union Pacific dash Southern Pacific line through here . And they got that huge deal two miles, I guess it is or depending on what kind of line . And we were within that distance of the railroad . So they sold it all for four dollars an acre . So my great great grandmother in the eighteen seventies came and bought . And so did this fellow, my neighbor. And I saw him this weekend and we were talking about it . And you know , Jack, what I'm trying to say is that this was the first time it had ever been farmed. My great grandmother wrote a little note to my grandfather before she died. He was born in this house in eighteen ninety , and it was all loopin' while loopin'. And the only reason they came here is there was ant Aresian pond. But my point is this I have disked this whole hundred and thirty five acres on this part. I have taken a ripper and gone down eight feet deep in a big , you know, one hundred and twenty horsepower huge tractor down the roads . I have seen horseshoes. I have seen square nails coming up from my ancestors. I have not seen one indigenous artifact, not one . And I asked him, he said, there is none. Nobody's ever found anything, maybe in the foothills nearby, but not here. So my point is I think I'm an indigenous person because we were the first people to settle this. And I know there must have been Native Americans who came through on trails and stuff, but nobody was in this area . The local casinos are in the foothills for a reason . And so if they want to they keep saying indigenous, indigenous, indigenous , but you act this continent is huge and there had maybe been twenty or thirty million people in this country. There were vast areas that were completely unsettled . And this idea that every square inch is indigenous is just and that's outside the fact about inter tribal violence and all of that other stuff . But John Kegan got in big trouble the military historian because in his wars for North America. He said the indigenous population was one person per three hundred square miles, two hundred to three hundred square miles . And people were starving in congested cities London , Manchester, etc , and in Europe. And if they had the way to get over here, it was very naive to think that this rich continent that had this hardly anybody living here was going to stay that way when people who were , you know, six, seven, eight kids starving to death in Ireland were going to come over here . And he said , just that's the way of history, the way of the world . In demographic terms, why does one person and I'm going to use Marxist terms against the left . All you Marxist, why do you think that one person that gets three hundred square miles to himself and another person doesn't. Go ahead sorry. Go no, you go ahead. If it was okay for your ancestors to come here, Victor, if it was not okay by miss Allen , why is it why was it okay in the four years of the of the Biden administration for ten million people to come for whatever reason ? You know , that was their country. Why can they come but we couldn't our ancestors couldn't, you know? Yeah, they can come because they're poor and left wing and their constituents . And the funny thing is now we're seeing a paradigm. We really are. It's the alien Omar Rishida Telli AOC paradigm of immigrant families that came to the United States either first or second generation, either they were naturalized citizens like Ilin Omar or they were born here, I think like Rashida Talib and others . And their parents left socialist p aradises. They left I thought Palestine was a wonderful place . I've been on the West Bank. I've seen what it's like, but her parents apparently didn't like it. And so they came here . And apparently AOC's parents didn't like Puerto Rico, so they came here. And apparently Ilian Omar didn't like the Utopia of Somalia. So they came here. They knew it was a capitalist country . They knew it was a c enter right country, so they came here and guess what? They're all wealthy They're all doing well. I don't know what Ilian Omar's worth. She claims she's worth thirty million , and the people who have been just elected in New York , most many of them have and elsewhere, they're second, either first generation or second generation. So what I'm getting at is Americans are really tired of we don't really we don't really care about it used to be legal immigrants all good, illegal immigrants bad. But now, it's not that way. All legal immigrants perfect. We don't at this late stage in two hundred fifty and years, we don't have the resources or the tolerance or the patience for people to come here and then as soon as they arrive and they have children then to start trashing this country and trashing in racial terms , white this. People are sick of it . And it's not going to continue. It really isn't this new idea that you can just take sixty five to seventy percent of the population and say that you're colonialists, you're settlers, you're white supremacists, white rage . I don't think it's going to work. I think people everybody's sick of it. Not because they're proud to be , they don't think of themselves as white people. I know a lot of white people. I don't think I've ever heard one person said, I'm so happy to be white . They don't think of it. But you know what? It's reaching the Carmelo Carmelo Anthony Right. That you yes. And what you saw in Europe Mr. No death The boy in France and Leon was who was beaten to death. Yeah. Beaten to death. And you can see it in Europe. There's a whole little internet that I get readers and listeners send to me of TikTok or I guess they're YouTube , but they're just people on the street of European cities where immigrants from Africa will beat up somebody or will attack a woman and all of a sudden people stop their cars and get out and beat those people. And I'd never even imagined that would happen . But think this is this movie that did you must know about this, this vigilante movie that no I haven't, I don't. It's a full movie and Elon Musk put it on X. It's gosh, I can't remember citizen , oh I forget the name of it, but it's already been seen by like fifteen million people. And it's a vengeance movie. It's kind of not dirty carry, but what were the movies back with Charles Bronson , you know ? Anyway, it's Vigilante. Yes, death's wish I hear the voice of God. Tell me death's wish. Yes. Death wish. Yeah , but there's a real hunger for for this now. I hate to say that, but it's there is. You want to see feel they feel frustrated. Yeah, I was talking to another person that grew up here with me . And if you just want to be empirical , in the nineteen fifties, sixties, and seventies , all of these small forty to a hundred acre farms had these really nice homes And I'm talking about twelve to fifteen hundred square feet. I don't mean McMansions . And they were usually built by their parents or grandparents frame Victorian one and two story houses. They were immaculate. I went to them, I'd visit them . And they were not just so called white people. They were Armenians, they were Japanese , they were some Mexican Americans . And we were talking this friend of mine and they said, Have you been around our radius? I said, Yes, he said, have you noticed that all those homes that we grew up with , they're all completely trashed . You're the only one that's left , yes. Yeah . Pretty much in my immediate area. My neighbor's a really good friend of mine and he moved away because of that. I could not believe he's been here as long as I have. He couldn't take it anymore. But my point is when I say it, I don't mean race . I'm just talking about seeing a beautiful home and then all of a sudden you see twenty cars and five winnabagos on blocks and three shacks and all the orange orchard next to it are the acres of landscaping all dead and then maybe a whole menagerie of I don't know, pigs, cows, chickens , and then dogs that are not on leashes . And when you drive by, the dogs come out and try to bite your tires, that kind of stuff. It's everywhere . And it's a product of open borders . And no one will talk about it. No one will talk about it and you're getting big trouble . Yeah . Well, open borders combined with hate , I hate America even though I'm here That's what that's what's so frustrating because when immigrants came , we had Max Nike onis here, the former president of USC. They were so happy they had nothing when they came here . And they loved this country and every emigrant I knew was that way. But the new immigrant style is you come and whether legally or illegally you and now we know the left has been lying that immigrants are far more disproportionately on public assistance than they and they claim that they weren't . And then you get all of this large ass . And then what do you do? You put your finger in there and you think, you know what? All the benefits are with trashing the United States, and there's none with supporting it. Maybe Cuban Americans, they were middle class. They're an exception . But they start attacking this country . And Illian Omar, it's a trashy country. country. You have a dictatorship worse than Somalia, blah blah blah. Or we're going to give forty thousand drivers license to people who are here. We were driving I would drove over from my first day at work. That was a four hundred plus mile round trip. And then we turned to go just a hundred miles to San Louis. We waited five hours in traffic because of a big accident , a toxic spill. California likes to have construction on peak weekend days to the coast, so they shut down. We sat and didn't move for two hours . And my point is I would say we saw five trucks , Jack going seventy five degrees seventy five, seventy to seventy five miles an hour fish tailing and driven by immigrant drivers . And it's very scary right now. I'm sure most immigrant drivers are great, but when you see what's happened with these accidents and the license have been given to people who can't read English, it's really scary. And nobody says a word about it anymore. They're scared . And I just think all of this tribalism reaching a point where people of all different races were saying, this doesn't work. This is like eighteen fifty . It doesn't work. The sectarianism. We're going to end up in a mess and everybody's got to cool it. And I'll leave you with our last topic to introduce about Captain Park. Well, how I think we are over our limit here, Victor, so we can hold off on Cape Park for the next time because this is kind it of's in the same zone here. I mean, they would rather destroy they would rather destroy the person who is the golden goose, whether you like it or not, who got millions of newborersr.ow They all have more money , better facilities, and they hate the person who provided that to them. Yeah . Well, maybe we should just be quick about it then. You know, to a couple of things, Victor, that most Americans don't care about women's basketball. We do here in Connecticut, you know, University of Connecticut, women's Gino Ariama. All my kids went to UCon, so we it's kind of a religion in the state. But a few things, you know, she did really for whatever reason she has revived this sport . She's straight , she's white, she is Catholic. I think she's not religious religious, but she's somewhat religious. So she's anathema to much of this league, which is black, lesbian and I guess irreligious. But nevertheless , when she came to town, she was put inting butts the seats, they were filling out the areas. Right, you called her the golden goofs. That said , twenty twenty four, she should have been on the Olympic team. They would these old hags that were in the league would not let her on. The league just put out its thirtieth anniversary. So they put a big poster and they have thirty stars on it. She's not one of them. I mean, even the league itself hates her. And then you know this incident last week where she was knocked down and people talk about the fist on the neck. Yeah , but there was also an attempt by that same woman to turn around to stomp on her, but she had rolled . I saw that . I saw that. It was almost like a George Florey thing with knees and the fist of the jugler vein was really scary . And then the referees didn't do anything and then the next day they give a slap on the wrist one day . And then immediately they started to turn around . The girls involved said we're victims. We're getting racist comments. Well, welcome to the club. If you are in the public squares, I can tell you that I've had some of the worst threats in my life on online comments and emails . But they made her the aggressor and then I think it was the New York Post or maybe it was somebody sent in the news aggregate . They listed everything they have done to her for the last . Man, Fox News has done an article on that . Yes. And they rubbed her eardrum, they hit her back, they kicked her. It's just flagrant violence. You know what she should do? I really believe that she should do this. She should just announce that she's quitting this corrupt league and go to Europe and play basketball there. And she would do it to European basketball. You would have Americans interested in it. It would be televised , they'd get a global audience and just give up on these people because they're never going to accept her. And the reason that people come out and see her is that she's a multifaceted athlete. It's not just because she's wide or straight . She can shoot three pointers and she's huge, tall and gangly, but she's tall, she can rebound, she can pass . She's a composite player and she's not just a muscle person or she's not and and I just I think that it's got to a point where they're going to try to kill her. I really do believe that whether it's going to be , you know, intentional that they I know they're going to try to hurt her permanently and it will it'll they think it's cute because the perpetrator posted something I think right afterwards do you want that? You know, kind of and then she took it down. But it's and then when you see the Camilla, Anthony, the whole commentary that you know, I wish I had killed his twin brother on all this . And everybody's just supposed to say , you know what? This is because of slavery or something. I don't know. Somebody made an image of they had three white basketball players beating up a black player. There would have been, can you imagine what would have happened in ? No, I know it would have happened because a great athlete was Jackie Robinson, and he was treated terribly by a lot of white players. A lot of white, but unlike unlike this condition, there were a lot of white Pee Reese, for example on the Brooklyn Dodgers was wonderful . And there was a lot of white players that andan Bchr Rick all those people supported Jackie Robinson. And he was like Caitlin Clark. He kept a cool . He didn't strike out strike back at them, but he didn't he didn't back down and you it really shame people to see that there were people in Major League Baseball who were racist . And he and so and now that it's completely flipped, you now have a black dominant league and you have very few white players . And one of the arguments was of the major league leagues. This is all white and you have twelve percent , ten percent at that time of Backl America and they have talented athletes and you're not letting the ten percent participate . And now people are saying, well, women's basketball is seventy five to eighty percent black women and now you have a very tiny minority of the majority of the country, which is sixty five to seventy percent . And the so called majority accepts it's a merocratic enterprise . That we don't want quotas , we don't want set asides. We don't want DI, we don't want affirmative action . But it is a predominantly black and to a large degree black lesbian league and it doesn't represent the demograph y of America to use the leftist terms . There is no diversity, there is no proportional representation . That's the terms that they use, not me . And they say when there's not proportional representation and there's not diversity, it's because of systemic racism . And it isn't, I don't think. I think it's because of cultural trends or whatever emphasises of different cultures in different areas of expertise. But my point is that if they're going to treat if they have if that league and its coaches and its referees and its owners want to establish the principle and they have established that any brilliantly talented white girl who goes there and has a following that transcends race because a lot of I looked at some of the clips she has a lot of Mexican American , Asian, everybody type fans. Black fans . There's been a lot of black people who came out and deplored what happened to her . And if they don't want that type of person in there and they're going to try to hurt them permanently to get rid of them , then I think people should do a left wing boycott. They shouldn't watch it. Right. I don't think they should watch it. I don't think they should I think they should go after the sponsors who that sell ads during the broadcast. They should go after the broadcast. Should do just what the left does tip for tat, just say you know what, ? This is a endemically systematically racist enterprise. And you know what's going on , you know that this person is targeted because she's white and to a lesser degree, maybe she's tar geted because she's heterosexual. And you know that the referees are not calling flagrant fouls as they should. You know the players are deliberately trying to hurt her, you know the coaches are helping them and you know the owners won't say a word because they're terrified that the majority of their players feel yeah this way and there's no place in the United States for that. There isn't. So people should just turn their backs and say ,a Kitlin, get out . Start your own league, Dude, go to Europe, but don't stay there because they're going to kill you. That's the way I feel about it. Yeah, Boomer Syasan, who's a former quarterback, he's a big talk radio sports radio show host in New York and actually nationally said the same. Hey, Victor, I just say you mentioned talked about Pee Wee Recent and Jackie Robinson, that our dear friend Cleeda Mitchell, her father in law was a teammate of Dale Mitchell. He played that? Yes. There was a lot of people on that team that were very supportive , very supportive of Jackie Robinson . Yeah . And I knew one of them, Ralph Branca, who was the pitcher. I remember famously pitched, you know, he worked with my old man and what a nice guy he was. He was he used to come over the house and play catch. I remember that But this is twenty twenty six and if you've got systemic racism and people trying to physically injure somebody because of her race or her success or popularity and the institution and all of its manifestations won't defend her and gets mad and calls people racist that point this out to them , then they have no moral legitimacy anymore , and they should be subject to a nationwide boycott . And then maybe they would come around because I can tell you that there was no audience for women's basketball before this happened. And they were I don't even know if there were I don't think they were flying private. I think they were flying commercial . Coach. And then and it's still not a profitable undertaking. I mean, it's subsidized by the NBA. So they've all got raises, they've got more money, they've got more they're Caitlin Clark. Yeah. I did no favor going punished. So yeah. And I don't want I don't want to happen what happened to the country to happen to my area because when I drive around it's all deserted. All of the families of all different ethnicities have left . They've completely gone. It's amazing. I think out of two hundred and fifty people in my high school class, there's not more than forty here. Wow. They've just left . And it's not because they were racist. It's just because there were too many gangs and it was too dangerous and there was too much violence and theft and burglaries . And too many times you go to the food market and somebody ahead of you has five EBT cards and then gets out in a BMW or somebody goes to the city council and calls everybody a racist or that you bump into somebody and he wants to fight you. You know, you're in the parking lot, somebody pulls in front of you and he rolls down the window and says I'm going to kill you. That kind of stuff they're just tired of it . Or you know, you get to the parking lot in the morning and it's six in the morning when it just opens and the whole parking lot is full of garbage . You know, it just I understand poverty's part of it, oppression's part of it, but the people said, I don't want any of this. I'm leaving. And that's that is a metaphor for California . Somewhere between ten and fifteen million people just left . And I was talking to a lot of people . Yeah. I was talking very quickly to Anne. I was talking to a lot of people the last week or two . And it is true that California we've all documented all of its abuses and why people leave, but one of the things they're not talking about is there's certain things that are off limits . We have a huge black market . We have people who are on the side of the road, they're hard working, but they're selling food, they're selling bicycles . There's no sales tax . You have people who will come over, knock on your door, I want to be , I can wire this. I'm a I work for a licensed electric company. They allow me to work on weekends, but I have to have cash. You have to pay me cash . And you say, well, if I pay you cash, if I pay you ten dollars in cash, I have to make twenty to give you ten and when I give you twenty and you don't pay any cash, you make twenty. Understand that? So maybe I should give you five and then you won't pay cash and then you'll have ten . But the point I'm making is and we're talking about sixty seven eight toy dollars an hour in cash. And then there's this huge swap meet, I don't know what you call it right near my house, but there's ten thousand people there. And I can tell you I've been there. I don't think there's a collective systematic message change. So what I'm getting at is when you have a country , a city of twenty seven percent of this state was not born in the United States and the second generation that hasn't fully acculturated or integrated, it's probably half the forty million people are first or first or second generation . And you don't inculcate what worked in California that everybody reports their income . They report their income. And I'm not saying that people who have been here ten generations don't cheat too . But we have a massive black market. And when you drive out the billionaires and millionaires, which Newsom and this is going to be or if it is not now, and after driving, I guess it was six hundred miles through California, I would say it is a third world country right now. It really is the way it functions. It's a very dangerous . Drivers are crazy, the truck drivers are crazy. There's no rule of law, there's no systemic effort to make people follow the law, pay their taxes , get paid with a check or identifiable state franchise board income. It's all in a state of nature instead of it is it is. I have five UBT When I go to get them to the market, I always say to myself , can I beat the record of the person ahead of me with five EBT cards electric bank ? You know, five of them. Oh no, that sorry that doesn',t one work. No, you don't have an ID for that one. Sorry, that one doesn't work. Sorry, that one's expired. No, that one was three years ago . And you wait there, you know, and then the person goes out to, I guess, a lease car , but then I always say, how many I feel really bad because they used to make pun of people welfare cadillac, Johnny Cash . That was kind of insensitive. But when you go out there and somebody who just had five EBT cars climbs into a BMW SUV. What do you think? Cartels, I think. I don't know, because something's very good. Anyway , all right, well , I'm going to read one comment, Victor at the end here. I just want to thank people who subscribe to Civil Thoughts. Okay, one comment it's from the Briarwolf This is from a YouTube one of your recent episodes with the great Sami Wink. It says you tell them, professor, I may disagree politically on a few points, but by God you tell them how it is. I grew up ranching, then farming and, other than a decade, I spent working the drill rigs. I've farmed my whole life. My best friend is a former coal miner, turned general surgeon. I respect educated men that behave as educated men . I do not consider these slim breasted ginger puss creatures in modern academia men. Folks can call me whatever names they want, but respect is earned and they haven't earned CRAP . Your master tradesmen, friends are worth a dozen of those brats. They cry about life being hard when they don't even know what it means. Thank God there are still real men becoming professors , Lord . We'd like to order about a million more professor Hansens to be delivered to the American nation. Thank you. Quite a wow . You're beloved Victor, you got to deal with it. I think people are getting also tired of the academic indoctrination industry. When they look at all these problems that we discussed today, I think a lot of our listeners said, Well, Victor and Jack , where did this come from? Yes. Why did this person think that she could say this about white cemetery? Why who taught her that? And the answer is a lot of very, very privileged , rather unproductive, and I'll be frank, the majority of them are white people, coastal elites, and they were trained at coastal institutions, and they've done enormous damage to the fabric of the country. Hothouses of hating America Universities. Well Victor, you've been terrific, of course.
