Oh Oh what's your story Don't you dare be sour Cap for stoppinging and feel p. Oh. Welcome to What's Your Story with Steph McMahon, a WWE and Fanatics original production So I I am very excited for you and This place you seem to be at in your life and in your career where you're just having fun. Oh yeah. Yes. But why? was I not picked see Award I I mean, I you know, I know I'm not like a part of things right now and maybe the Hall of Fame was like enough of a give that I It was too much then for me to get a Bexy. but I was I was a little I was a little taken apart. I gott to say they took on a life of their own. They did. And you know, but next year seeing how popular they were right year next year Ne a whole different ball game. It's going to be huge. There's gonna be so many char, so many more categories I imagine are in many more of these categories also. Yeses. But yes I appreciate the categories. I think I really liked Michael Cole's title the best. Yes. and he deserved it. I know. He wr Trust me. I know Having worked with Michael for a very long time, I don't know why He doesn't understand that he is offensive. to the heels in the business. I mean, I don't know that I'd refer to myself. push you but No, no. I'm referring to myself. Oh right. Okaykay. it's the buttons that he pushes. And he doesn't realize like A that time I run this company Yeah, could I could fire your ass. He doesn't know his role. He does not know his role. mayaybe he does. He's been pretty successful at it, but man, he loves to push the buttons. Yeah, but I think he pushes them a little too far personally. But how was how is he getting away with that? There's a deep conspiracy there. Oh yeah, becausecause he shouldn't be able to get away with that. I agree. You should I've always felt that way and nothing ever happened He's very offensive. says very mean things. veryy mean true. But so right, different scenario for me, but yes I notice the same thing with you. I see it all the time every week. I mean, I see it with my own eyes. Yeah. So I you know I'm with you. I with you. Really I agree with the category. You know what? hereere we go. Yeah. I think you're top running for Bexy for podcasts of the year. Oh ye ye. I'm just gonna say it right now. Say it right now. R. I to give it We have a whole. We have a whole year. We gotta start my own podcast. M people do want me to start my own podcast. but that's not just you saying it. It's not just me saying now other people are saying. other people are saying it Yes Nure repward also. Rie Stone. Yeah. yeah A lot of sources there. Yeah. yeah. But this is so great Thank you very much. And I do mean it when I say I love to see you having so much fun Are you having fun? Oh man. Yes. Maybe too much fun. No, no such thing. No such. there no such thing. There might be such a thing where I go, You know, is this too And then as soon as I start going, is this two? I go nope No Y, Nope, it's great. Yes. I love it. Great. And there' there's an E in the WWE for a reason. correct. So what is it that we always say that if you're having fun, the audience is having fun and that's true. And it's a feel thing. It's not something that you can articulate or like you know, point out, but it's just it's something that you feel And it's true. and even just The way you sell when things don't go your way. I mean, It's fabulous. like your facials There's like a whole thing behind it. and then where it goes from there and how long it lasts and who gets the heat. L it's phenomenal. Oh, thank you very much. I ames.' very impressed V very impressed. Yeah. you know, I feel like the stuff that I find fun and the best ever can be a new vehicle for telling stories, you know, it's hard to know if it's going to resonate the audience But you don't know unless you try. You don't know unless you try. Yeah. you know. And some of the stuff that I enjoyed the least which was probably when I was up The highest The audience liked so ye you got to give them what they want. Yeah you know. But I don't know. I think you have to Do the things that you want to do and that you think are gonna be interesting or That can add a different dynamic to the show or a different dimension. and then hopefully audience. Hopefully it works like that. I don't know. But so that takes Well, I want to ask you a specific question first Do you think you've Do you feel like you still have a lot to prove or do you feel like you' Gotten to a place where you've shown who you are and what you're capable of and now that allows you the freedom to have a little bit more fun and try new things or is that off Oh. Gosh. A I think it's a little bit column A a little bit from column B, right where I know I've proved myself enough And I'm at the point in my career where I'm immensely confident in my ability and in What do you want me to do? Okay, yeah, whatever. if I agree with it or I don't agree with it And sometimes I'll be like, that's great, That's amazing. Sometimes I'll disagree. Sure. But You got to you gota you got to play the play do the joke when And then I think when I was younger, I would have fought it a lot more. B maybe like actually fought it with creative and then fought it mostly with my head and being like, oh, this is stup, you know. Now I just go, I'll just make it work, you know? So how do you get to that place? I think it's a lot of it's a lot of years, isn't it? you know? And then it is,' it's every goal that I wanted to tick off the list I have bar one just a silly one No I just you know, want I want the money in the bank briefcase. I want I want. You know? I want of power. And especially hold over someone's character Yes. This character with the money in the bank briefcase. Oh yeah. everyverybody would hate it so much because they wanted to go to somebody younger, somebody up and coming, somebody who's never been a champion before and o in everybody's face and have all the champions fear me the power, you know? So that's that's that's that that's the that's the one remaining one goal that's that has not been ajected. Yeah. But but I think as well you know, I've gotten to main event WrestleMania, I've gotten to win all the champions chhips and everything like every goal that you tick and every position that you get You realize that nothing nothing nothing, nothing makes a difference, you know, like nothing you're not happier if you've main evented WrestleMania. you're not happier if you have a championship, you're not if you're on the marquis, none of it And ye, that's great. We love we like It matters.. And then but then you get to a point where that doesn't even matter. And it's like, okay, well, how can you tell the best stories? And it comes back down to core of it, which is the art and also I think I always wanted to be in a position where I could help Mother around me and make other people look better. And then once I got to the top, then I was like, okay, now I can Now I can help everybody, right? when I'm down below and sure, nobody's paying attention I can help people in the to be able to help somebody at that point. And but I always wanted to be in that position. I think Coming in, you know, we had so many great people that were so kind, like you were so kind and the Bellas were so wonderful and Trinity and Tim mean and Nadie and they all they all really looked after us in a time when We could have been coming in, we would taken their spots if you wanted to say that And they didn't act like that. Yeah. they threw down the ladder and let us climb up And I was like, o, I want to be able to do that Yeah when when I get to the top. You know just gave me total goosebumps. And so being able to do that now and also because I've been in the main events, you know, and I know what the audience sounds like right When you're having that match. Yeah. And so I can picture that and then I can tell people and I can help them and I can design things in such a way to get those reactions because now I know And so yeah, I think that's where I always ultimately wanted to land is in a position to you know, make the The girls common on better and help them in any way that I can in my experience And so I think that's what's given me the most fulfillment, right? Yeah becausecause none of the None of the winning anything gives you lasting fulfillment, but right that stuff Like when you come back And Maxine has just had an amazing match and she's delighted with her like that's Yeah, ye. that's when you go home and you You feel good about yourself and now we've got a new star that we can play with That's the best stuff Yeah, I know exactly what you mean. It really is the best stuff And especially when you're helping someone and then you watch them go out and do their own version of whatever it was you were talking about, and you can seeee that moment where it clicks And where they're like feeling it Yeah you feel it with them and for them and it's like, o yeah, it's even better. And that's those times where you have to kind of bite your lip from smiling, you know? Yeah because you you got to scowl. Right. You know. You're so proud of them. So proud of them. So proud that's the thing, you know, And I think because you've lived it Right? So you know how it feels It's a totally different type of relationship You know, it's it is, it's so special. And that's I think that's when we that's when it's the best work, you know? Yeah. I think well, there's combination There's combination of wrestling. like the best work is either when you really really hate each other. And everybody still have chemistry. You still have chemistry because you have to have chemistry. Yes. If there's no chemistry. You have to you can hate each other, but you have to also work too for the story and the match You can't hate each other and then want to go into business for yourself. That's right. just R. Would you say it's fair to characterize it as you can hate each other, but you have to respect each other? Oh, one hundred percent.. Yes, ye. Yes. And but also you just you have to be a professional. Yeah, you know, You can hate each other, but you have to be a professional and you have to work This is what we're doing. Y and O It's when We both just work together to how do we tell the best story? How do we get the people on their feet? How do we get them to hate me the most and love you the most? Yeah And it's like a little bit of magic. Y. That is all the magic. Yeah. Call one eight hundred ranger, click ranger. com or just stop by Ranger for the ones who get it done So what do you think about Unreal? Be everybody has different perspective. So how I bring it back is when I was a fan Oh my go Like this is everything that I would have wanted, right? Like I remember I remember watching Mick Foley's documentary e it was a VCR R. And so that like that tape was worn down and it get scratchy Yeah. But I wanted to know I wanted to know how the sausage was made. and like even I watched Raven had a psychology and in Ring psychology and I watched that constant. And so I always wanted to know how things were done so I think when When I was a fan, this is exactly I would have loved it And then the old school wrestler of me goes You know, Yeah We got to we got to keep some of it, but also, you know, I'm sitting here talking about how I want to help people. So it's already. it's gone, you know? Right R. it's gone. And so We can maybe keep a little bit of it for ourselves, but at the other end of the things, you know, This pastes out of the tube But I don't think it gives the magic away It might be the how tos of certain things. Yeah Magic is magic for a reason. That's true, you know? Well just the way it told the story of what you and your daughter went through when Seth was faking the injury. right? L That's so well done. But then to hear to see it afterwards, like, okay, it took took a toll on you on your family, like what everyone everyone was going through it for that moment that the audience felt But I suppose, isn't that the other thing of it, right? That thing that injury. became so controversial where literally, like that's what we do all the time. Right. It's We do that work. We do all the time. like peopleeople were mad because they got got. they got got. They were like, ye, can't you can't lie about that. So wait a minute but that's wait that's wait. Do you know how many times we've done that Anyim All the time. Anybody gets injured, taken out, put through a table, dragged off in a stretcher. If it's not a real stretcher, that's what we're doing, but we just We did it, but we just kind of also did it But these people haven't lived a gimmick in a long time. No, they ha they havent like been out in public and not broken character in a long time. Yes. But Paul, you know has had to do that so many times. I remember him going through Like we'd go to events and stuff and he'd have his arm in a sling or whatever because he was, you know, living the gimmick, right? Yes. But that has stopped for so long until you and it was It was so it was so great. The way he did it. The way he did it. The way you all did it. I mean, it was really, it was so well done. And you know what, truthfully, the audience really loves to be got They does. They love it when they're caught off guard. They love it when they don't see it coming You know, that' some of them. Well, but I think they love it the head. Yeah But I think it's It's so great when you actually because they're all so smart, you know, and everybody loves the business. And so when you can actually get them, it's like it's just money. It is, you know It is. but we yeah, you have to commit. Yes to that level To trick anybody. To trick anyone. Yeah And so Are we all going to do that Yeah, probably not again for a while. But like you know, but who knows? But also like Brian Kransston doesn't have to go out there being a mh dealer, for anybody to buy breaking bad. You know what I mean? That's true. I mean, it would have been cool to see them in the audience like doing a deal. but other right, but it's our world. Yeah. And it's fantastical and it's amazing. and there's you know, it really is and I know people are dogging Marvel these days, which's been hugely successful, but Marvel is all these different universes and all these different characters and that is really akin to WWE, especially now with more territories and AAA coming on board and all these different levels and then how the characters ultimately cross over or connect or what how it's different within the different worlds themselves, like there's limitless storytelling. It's just it's Fascinating Yeah. It's multi Not that I love it or anything. I I love that, you love it. th you know I have grown up loved it. stillill just love it. I do. This way. Yeah. It's funny. I've spoken, you know, since I left the company, I've spoken at one business conference and I did it for a friend And The audience were ask they asked me during the conference. They said, you seem to love it so much It was like I do. Yeah, you know, And they said, you're so passionate about I said I am Well, why aren't you there? You know, and it was a hard question at the time You know, I suppose it still is becausecause as I'm saying so like. Sosong here You're doing this. You're back. Youre talking to you Yes, yes. whichich you've always been so great at conversing with those that eye contact. I'm a big eye contact person. Yeah. Yeah. I got I gota like We gott to, you know, engage. Yeah, no, I know, but you it's I remember meeting you for the first time And I like like I know, it's wonderful. It's amazing like you make you make you make people feel like they're the only person in the room You know, But it's also when you're seeing Stephanie McMahon who you've watched on TV since you were a teenager and I'm staring you down And you're like pearing into your soul and you're like, I have no right to be here and she knows this. You know, but you're also trying to have a conversation, But then you're also just so kind, you know So yeah, good on you.. But yeah, no, I think it's interesting, right? Because you love wrestling so much. and I'm speaking you but also as myself. like But it also can take such a toll You can on you. Yeah. I didn't grow up with my dad running the business, but it is that thing where you love the everything that goes into. You love the people people. the people people are out the crew Yes around it, the bandro coming backstage, just everybody everybody When you go to work and you're just like, I could be doing anythingthing else, I have no right to be here and I'm just having the best time having conversations with People that I admire immensely, people that have grown up watching, like these new kids that keep you hip right got And they have all these skincare regimes that I wouldn't have known anything about. It is a lot of products. A yes, yes. There's a tremendous market. And they know all about it. They Trust me these Tust me. I have some tricks Daughters. Yeah Yeah They're gonna be twenty, eighteen and sixteen. That's insane su That's nuts. I remember them walking around as k a I feel like I haven't been around long enough to have watched them grow she kind of. Yeah, findind a way out. Yeah. But anyway, my youngest is like a skinca Yeah. I don't mean anything like anyway, but she's just very into it. And she's fourteen. No, no, she'll be sixteen sixteen. Wait What? sixixteen, eighteen, eighteen, and twenty I don't know I don't know. It's weird 'cause you notice your own kids growing up, but I feel like when you meet other people with kids, you think they're a stillill that age. Tim. Yes. Like Kevin Owens, I'm still convinced his daughter Ellie is three. She's So how is? Yeah. Yeah and a son Owen, who's right now bigger thang. Eactly It's mad It is. She goes doing the theater She is Well, she doesn't love theater as much as she does just singing. Okay. Right. But she's an entertainer at heart. I mean, I don't know where she gets it from Elise and I really like having meetings and it's the Vgh show. I mean, it just is. If she comes in room, it is the Vongh show. Like here goes, We're gonna pause for thirty minutes.azing. For however long. My meings Maybe longer. Do she write her own songs? She does. She writes her own music. And Jelly said he's gonna help her. No. Yeah. I mean, we'll see.. But it's even cool that he would say it. I mean, that's amazing. He's a genuine lad. He is very tr. know something, he'll do it Talk to my husband now for Sushi the other day Wow. I'm blown up the spot. but he did. Yeah, yeah, that's pretty cool. Yeah. Yeahah. Yeah, he said he was gonna to go for a sushi with jelly roll, sure enough. They did. He went for sushi with jelly roll. invited. I have never eaten fish Really? I don't know if that was the reason that I wasnt invited. to be honest with. C you add some rice or I love I love avocado roll. Yeah. A are good. Anyway, But yeah, no, anyway, he went out and And they had a good time. Yeah yeah, had a great time Yeah, he's a great guy. Great lad. And so he said the advice he gave my daughter is really akin to a similar theme that I hear through every podcast that I've done, which is work ethic Right? And he said How many songs have he written? And at that time, she hadd written however many, And he said, okay. Here's what you need to do s writing until you've written hundreds of songs And your skill is going to evolve and you're going to find your voice, you're going find your style through this process. And once you feel good and confident about it Then let's work together Greet No mean it Yeah from Jellyll Fr Jelly Roll. F Jelly R. Yeah. And he totally gets he connected with her. He goes so Is your family a musical family or not. And compost attitude? What's that? You compost attitude? I can carry a tune. Okay. but I like sing loud and proud, which is great. And then my voice cracks, like it's terrible. You just enjoy it when you're I do. I' like I do. I love to sing and dance, but I'm not saying I'm good at either one of them U That's besides the point, not a musical family. And so he was talking to her about that too. like being the only one in the family that actually get like gets this particular thing just like the wrestling business or just like whatever. Yeah. And he was kind of like bringing her into his musical family a little bit. Oh yeah. that's how he took it anyway. have somebody to take you under your wing. Yeah, especially Jelly R. specially J. Apparently, by the way, did you know this that he just discovered that he could sing when he was like thirty or something No, I didn't know. mayaybe I'm wrong with that. Yeah, he like wrapped And then all of a sudden he just started like Yeah. And then somebody was like, Hey, you should sing. You should do that. Wh did it was that? I didn't believe that. And again, you know, I say these stories and then I'm like' just couing I hope Yeah. I feel like I do that all the time. And I did the same thing in midstory. I'm like, why, I'm pretty sure that's what I heard. Yeah.. I heard this version of. I was there. Yeah I mean, that is what happened. This was secondh information R fromra from Be you weren't invited because I wasn't invited to. And so why don't you eat fish? Okay, nobody says this sentence. Hm smells like fish Yummy. you ever hear that? You ever hear that sentence being said? disiscusust them ust. No. I don'ts gross smells gross. Salmon cooking smells good to me I don't allow it in my house. So but you've never tried it. No No Refuse But you know why haven't you also aren't you a vegetarian? I used to be. Okay Not anymore. now I'm trying to get gains. Yeah. No but also like no, I've got this little baby stomach like I can't tolerate nothing. I can't tolerate gluten I haven't eaten that in twenty years. Oh no haven't like yeah. Have you worked with spepecialists or anything? No. you could probably like introduce little bits. L I bet there's a way that you can get your stomach back. Yeah, I really Ill look into what I after. it's worth it, right? know. Food is something you enjoy, right? Yeah tastes good Yeah, smells good Yeah, yeah. but like so so Nash almost knocked the light over. I feel like I feel like you have to call that out. Sorry. Tan. I'm sorry, I'm very hot. Can I take Oh yeah! There we go. Everyone's gonna tune in speaking ofking aboutking about There we go. gaze. Oh yeah. Oh yeah. No, so yeah, so I can't tolerate it. It's soy protein, pea protein, nothing. So being a vegetarian was just It so hard for me. I didn't like I was. Oh, you didn't develop these allergies, like you had these allergies?. So how were you a vegetarian? What did you eat? What I had protein shakes, eggs, cheese, like stuff like that. Okay, so have eggs and cheese. Yeah, yeah. It was vegan. Vvegan. God, the other day I think there is something to me I It was making something I was making something and he was like, God I would just hate to be you. He was like, you just can't eat anything. And I was like, yeah But like I really like all the things that I eat. So what do you eat? Oh gosh. Lots of protein shakes.. You said that. Lots of chocolate eat No I don't know that'. Yeah ye. ye. Chocolate, rice meat and now the meat meat. It like what kind of meat like I love I like a steak very well done, extremely well done Oh my God has to be the most well done. I do not want be reminded that it's an animal I want to feel like I'm eating cardboard. And that is how I find it the most delicious. Like whenever I go to a restaurant, I'm like, I want chef to hate himself. I want him to hate himself. That's the quot you to the waiter. That is that is my prompt. Thatwise otherwise they'll, you know, ye, theyer not on the edge. Yeah. I'm like, no, no, no, no, I will send it back. Unless he hates himself, I will send it back. On the other end. I like the medium rare But if it's too rare Purple, I don't wantan to No that's. Yeah. I like it thinkink Yeah. Pink It could be a little red, but not purple. Yeah. Not fleshy. It be even the red I like the red. too no. God. This look so we felt the same way when you were saying the well, well, well done. Yeah ye. ye.. That's how everybody likes things different Yeah. But did you become a vegetarian because You didn't want to eat meat or just because it's the animals. Yeah. You know, one of my favorite movies is Babe Oh. And so so I've been like on and off since I was fifteen and of And I watched babe much younger, but I rewatched at fifteen and then was like, what am I doing? You know? Yeah. When the pig goes I my mom. Oh, forget it stop But there's a lot more horrible things you could watch that would have turned worse. Yeah. But like like they show you the actual Yeah What actually happened? A you or the slaughter houses? Yeahah. you Yes. I never watched it because I'm a meat eater and I hope that where I'm getting my meat is from like a very Well sourced don't em place and none of that happens. but yeah, I've heard all about it Yeah, pretty pretty gnarly so animals surive natural causes. That's why They do. No, that's what happens. wet have time to say sure. So anyway, no soution for me. So I over here tearing up 'cause it's yucky Talking about babe G What about Charlte Charlotte's web? I never watched it. Okay. Yeah, I never watched it. It's great Yeah? Yeah. I was gonna ask you if it made you like how do you feel about spiders in your house? Oh yeah, well no, not a spider fan. Right. But if you saw Charlotte's Web, would you like, o Biter And I'm not making fun of how you felt I realized the way I just said came across any. anything Yeah. It's anything, you know, you could go that way with a tree and you know, it is a thing to be a tree. I don't know what it feels like to be a treeree. Neither do I. But a tree is a living organism And so if a tree falls in the forest and there's nobody around to hear it Does it make a sound Does it make it sound? No No. Be it will make vibrations, but it won't make a sound Oh. I remember learning this in expand up in science class. And again, I could be wrong This is middle school science coming back hard. What What I'm pretty sure No, because like sound is what happens when the vibrations hit your eardrums. So if a tree falls and nobody's around to hear it, then it doesn't have an eardrum to hit off. So therefore there is no sound. There is vibrations but no sound Pat Patterson, the late Pat Patterson's partner, Louis U used to always ask me that And what would you say I never I was a kid. like I never knew how to answer. I would always say yes. Yes, it makes a sound. Even though I'm not no one's there to hear it, it still makes a sound That's what that was my answer. but I kind of love the whole vibration thing like Technically it's making a sound, but if no one's there to hear it It's not an audible. It doesn't it doesn't become a sci So it's very, very interesting Allegedly. I'm going to shut my ringer off. Oh, that's you. Some of I said hi. Honey. Oh, by the way, Coly says hi. Okay, I said hi back U with Becky now Laving also here. Tell them I have a creative pitch for she has to pitch. Can we call you? I not not kidding. Okay Did you takeone? I did. I did. I don't know how to do it. It's like so loud. It rings so loud all the time and it's very annoying. What if you just put it put it on silent. No, I'll put it on silent, but I don't know how to lower the volume of the ring itself So It's like I need to have it on on R Eespecially right now, my kids aren't here, like I need them to be able to get in touch with me. But the ring is so loud and then every message comes through because I don't have it isolated to just my kids. So it's like me that's usually le You got like sorry d Brain chip in there or something? She kind of does. She does. She thinks it and it like goes to my phone. inccredible technology. Silent. I did. Oh, okay. No, I thought you said you didn did not. No, I know how to put it on silent. I don't know how to turn the volume down for the ring tone. Okay Okay. We'll work on that. There's just a volume It's not, okay. I've done I know the up and down buttons and Ive clicked that down button and nothing's happening R using new phone? No. I'm sure it's operator error. Okay. show me how to do it. But if the ringer is off, then I lose track of the phone and she puts it like on a couch back of the couch and walks away and I think in a good spot. It's a moment And you remember it. You're always like, I always do that but I put I'm like I'm gonna to remember. And I consciously think about where it is So like doesn't work. ninety percent of my job is Following should put it there.. Steph, did you want this? Yeah. That's Joh Cones. Where my phone Because I'm constantly losing it backstage. Yeah. Like John, can you find my phone? You going have to get an airtag. Yes, exactly Yeah. I don't even share my location though, but I know somehow it's being shared. with with anybody. o. Yeah Yeah no, I don't don't. But then like my apps, I do the privacy setting while using. So they in case my apps know Yeah. I think at this stage, I'm just like's crazy. They're just they they're with. Well, and you know you see all these things, right? and it's like protect your identity and take these steps and do this with your phone. So I'm always like nervously trying to do it. but makes me think How many things am I missing? Right? Because it's all in the Fine print. So me fine, you know. And doeses anybody read the fine print?obody reads the fine print? No. anybody would you say there's somebody there's anybody out there that's got to read Somebody loves the fine print Somebody's writing there the fine print They take great pride in their work too. I mean, they all the tricky stuff's in there. Very ye, legally binding. Yes. In fact, I need those lawyers. Where are they sounds like you need them. We need to call the fine print lawyer. Yeah that's my pitch for Paul. Okay, talking. The fine print lawyer. You have to bring Joseph put that in the contract I would love me an on screen lawyer They're usually very talented lawyers, the on sccreen lawyers. you gota pitch for me. Are you pitching the job for yourself? You know, no, not not for. I mean nobody could double cross you Oh it would be, you know, I always wanted to wrestle you. If I can't wrestle you, this would be the perfect sorry. the perfect Would have been fun, though greatreat. Yeah. So it was it was funny because I had been you know, training for Rhonda and working with Rhonda and She at the time, it was her first match and you know, there was And you know, it was a little stiff on occasion. I'm sure she didn't mean it that way. and even her soft was probably just felt stiff. And so it was rough for three months And as all it was three months that I trained and had this match and then Afterwards, I was a little like You know what? I'm good Oh you that feeling. I don't think I need to wrestle anymore I to love to take pumps. This was like my favorite thing. And then I was like, maybe Maybe I don't have that itch anymore. You know, wrestling her, there was one thing there was one time when she beat me up And I remember thinking Not because I could fight back But I was like, o Take a beating. Maybe I could go into MMA. Oh take it. You know, But then that lasted one week. Yeah.' not my gooders take a beating. Yeah. ye. but I could take it. of course. I can take this. Maybe I get it. No I get it. Do you have a long reach You do. I do, I do. Yeah. I do have very long arms. Yeah,. very long arms also. Oh do you? Yeah, my brother used to call me an oranging thing. Oh. That's not nice. I know He's brother. Yeah. Yeah. That's what yeah, that is brothers. It's a brother thing, you know? Yeah. But but see And basketball and basketball. I did love basketball. That was the one sport. Did you play it? I did. Yeah. I mean, again, I wasn't like an all star, but I was a great defender because of my arms. Yeah. And I could box somebody out like nobody's business. So I'm rebounding, you know, I can get the rebounds I can I can bllock your shots, you know, more of a defensive player. Okay. Yeah. You're not gonna put me at the top of the key. I, Every now and then, I could hit a shot to a Free throw, free throwree thrower.orry on the mica I know Yeah. What's a roa playing? Softball Softball. Yeah. That's we. that's baseball.. Baseball softball withith a soft. Yeah. bigger ball The bigger braall. Yeah with the bigger braall. Y, it's very that's misleading. I know. It is, I know It actually is very interesting. Why is it called soft ball Yeah. And they they can throw that ball. I mean, like seventy miles an hour. It's crazy The picter Is she? She's catcher. She's catcher. Okay atch her Yeah, sports. sometometimes I have to okay, is that the that's the person. Yeah. She's person that catches the pitch. Right. Yeah. Look, I just watched my first baseball game I got. You know on. Yeah. like that's I know. I will say I'm getting I'm getting into American football because of Colby. Okay. But he's a big fan. He's a huge fan. but I also get the living room prromos. You know so I'm watching him entertainment the whole time. That's kind of awesome. shouldhould you record these? Yes. Too much explicit language But I sa maybe fans or something. put behind a piracy wall. I'd be yes, I'd make a fortune. so entertaining It it's incredible. Oh, that sounds like something I would pay to see. like for real. But like and the great thing about the bears last year was They wouldn't play until the fourth quarter. And so you just get just these rats. rats for three quarters that are just hilarious. Poorue hates them. She's She's gonna not like football She still likes she does She wears bears dress, you know in her bes hat. Oh my She like made a flag and she would like so That's cute. So instead of Colby like yelling, She was like, Dad I just waave the flight. . You don't have to do that, Dady. Yeah. You could do this instead. But he couldn't help himself. Th then he would just flip out and then wave for fl. Cute is that? Oh's the best. A the best. off she. So she's never tried to mimic the promos Promos Well now yeah, now she now she not those promos. right? it's really incredible how she never cuses which is shocking for her environment being around that. And it's not one of those things where we've ever been like, o, don't say that. right But she just yeah, she doesn't just sweet little angel. But now she's now she's she's into playing wrestling. She's not on your side. No, no, God, no. No. like she wants to be she wants to be I would say she has she' pretty good taste. like her favorite wrestlers are Bianca. Eo and Naomi. I'm like, Yeah I'm like, you know, M's pretty M iss pretty cool too. You're not cool. You're not cool. Oh so cool Nying.s not buying for a second. Oh my God. Yeah, it's so funny. They were they really had like a cute little match and And I'm like, okay you know, she covers and I'm like, all right, one. to and a roote like Cumbs up And then she does it like two more times and And I'm like, honey, you know you're supposed to pin. And she goes, Mama, I don't want the match to end. And I was like, o, but she was so smart. L to know like she was almost lifting her sister upike you're supposed to kick out. It was crazy Yeah. so cute I know they're the best. Do they want to get into the business? They Well, Aurora used to want to and she even got in the ring with Natdie and Charlotte U, she she rolled around a little bit U, But then, you know, everything kind of happened with my dad and me leaving and it was like an awkward time, like right in the time that she would have really been making her decisions. You know, she's been on the road and she's seen how everything operates. She's fascinated with sports injuries like fascinated with it. So she really is definitely kind of a calling for her. But that's not to say she couldn't do both. Yeah, no. I mean, she'd be she'd be such a natural. We have Alex Shey Alex Shelley's He too Yeah, I didn't know that. Yeah. inccredible. Wow. Our hands are great Yeah at big shows, sometimes in between matches, there'll be like It'll be like a meet and crereed a little bit.. But that's okay for whoever's around or their kids or whatever. like that's no problem. But everybody's so respectful. I love our fans. I've grown up with our fans. They're the best. M So maybe you can't have another baby until until all you win all the goals. All the goals are attained. But you know, I can always come back. You can do everything. Also. I always come back. I mean you made a Very solid comeback. I would say I have done the best work since I've had Rot Tob me and I talk about that all the time Three years of of just onn a plane every week onn the bus four days a week, doing shows all over the country. What were we doing? How did we do that? R? But it was awesome. Yeah. It was so awesome. and she was just everywhere with us. Yeah everywhere. likeike like in the time before the show, we were at every kids museum and every Oh ye Lass American and every zoo and every park. Yep, that's what we did Yeah, yeah It was hard but it was It was very hard, but you did what you did of it at the time is hard as well. That's the other thing. You look back and go How the hell did we do that? That's right, That's right. I just hit my face in the mic. I've done it three or four times. Normally I only do it once, but it's been happening a lot today. That one was aggressive. It feels aggressive when it happens. It is surprising. At least that one was intentional. I don't know. I feel like maybe these aren't fully stationary. Maybe maybe Adam Pierce is somewhere with a mechanism Maybe Dving it up to your fe. think he would get involved in this podcast like right now knowing you're here, you think he'd try to sabotage. Oh if he knew, if he knew, if he knew. He would do something. Does he assign the referees? Like does he assign Jessica to be your referee every time? If he doesn't, who does I mean I can think of a few people I can't think of any No, no, this is nothing to do with me. This is everything to do Becky Lynch So Coming back around to how we started this very intriguing conversation that I have enjoyed very much I do want to know a little bit For our viewers, right? Like you have been through so much in your life And you have it's been like really colorful life. It's been a very colorful. Corful very great Think about like but I'm very lucky. Yes. And you've, I mean, remarkable, your journey, right? And where you've started and trying to get it well even further back, right? you know, not not feeling athletic and, you know, struggling with with, you know, your appearance and how you felt about yourself and learning How to eat well and all of the trials and tribulations along the way, training with Fergal. And what that was like and maybe some of the lessons you learned from him Then that's still apply now because there ever been a moment Now where you see something with him or you've done something where you're reminded of a moment wayay back when Gosh I don't know. I think Two of us and JD included because yeah, I've known him since he was twelve Re isous Yeah, I remember the first day he came down to class. he's been wrestling since he was twelve and he was he was tiny. He was so little he had to hit the middle rope And And everybody just loved him. and just all three of us seeing where we are now, like after elimination chamber when Ferg got back and I had just gotten back after being robbed. And and we just had a hug and he was like, Ohh, I'm so proud of you. And I was just like, look at us. look at us Like who would have thought? right? Wh Who would have likeike I always would have thought that he would end up here. Of course he was going to end up here. You just saw him and you saw the way he moved in the ring and he had this presence about him and he was always in great shape and of course he was going to end up here and the fact that We both have and now JD as well. and now that we've got Lya here and of course, we've got Samus who started it all. It's just it's o, it's incredible. It's incredible. How does that happen? Um, is there a Is there a mindset of it is going to happen? There's no other choice Or is it a drive? Is it a belief in yourself and your abilities? Not everybody does make it So what do you think are the key drivers We're very l luck Right of I know from for me, for me, it's kind of different because I gave it up for seven years because between and all the different jobs that you tried. Yes Right, including flight attendant, which I think must be a very challenging job. Yes. Yeah, God I think it bartender and ye And everything. yeah. and in a in a weird way. So in a weird way I just feel like some sort of Destiny, you know? Yeah. or is it that It is it's both, I think, you know, I think I think you have to There's some sort of magic behind it all. You know, I can't take credit for anything. I suppose you can control what you control. And I think when I was younger, I probably would have been like, me and my hard work You know, but I think that ye you just you can't you can't you can't give yourself that much credit, you know? I think sometimes sometimes you're just lucky and sometimes you're blessed But I think you have to work. As though you're not You have to work as though it is all it's all up to you and that things either succeed or they fail because of the hard work in And sometimes that pays off I think a lot of times that pays off I haven't seen too many times where it doesn't pay off in one way or another. Maybe you don't get to where you're going but maybe you land somewhere pretty close. or maybe you land in a different field, but I don't think that work ethic ever fails you. I agree with that But I do think there's So much So much has to be perfect in the universe. and it just feels like magic. The fact that I ended up where I ended up at the time I ended up there having given up at nineteen because I didn't think that what I wanted would be achievable. And then I land in NXT at this time when Paul had taken over and I remember seeing you. Yeah and nobody was like, this girl's going to be a start. I was like, what is Steamampunk? Yeah Yeah, there you go. something At least that's what you remember me from because there was rough times before end what I remember is how good I thought you were Oh wow. Because when you first came out, I was like I really was like, what I really didn't know what it was. And so I was kind of a little more confused as to the gimmick But then I was watching you and I was really impressed. Thanks. And I was like, Oh, wow, I see why Pe are getting with her. she's really good. And you've only continontued to get better and better and better and better. And you clearly are One of the goats Thanks. And this's not just you said. It's not just me say you can add me to all this you would. But like I don't know if you remember, but there was like so many awful gimmicks on the way to get there. There always are. There always are. Terrible. Yeah. And I remember just like trying to figure all of it out and some by some miracle made it made it through and look where you are. And yeah, and But I will also say that a lot of that that saved my job apart from the wonderful people that saved my job and kept me employed was an attitude of not being above anything of of okay, how can I Like, okay, all right, look, I might not be the most athletically gifted. I'm not going to win a modeling competition. I'm not going win agree with that by the way. I'm not going to win a physique competition.. But like how can I how can I show that there is some glimmer of hope And it was like, okay, I have to be in the gym more than anybody else. I have to be in the ring more than anybody else. I have to be in the promo ring or the promo room more than anybody else. And it was always just trying to find that, okay, I'm going to be this roose bud for Adam Rose. do how do I be the best roose bud bud? Yeah. You know, what I think a lot of that is I think that I think that helps. a lot like are sure? I see I see it with with the The person I see it the most with right now actually is Maxine because I'm like, She got called up to the main roaser. Without having six months of training as a professional wrestler and has now been working and She has put in the work Yeah, put in the work. And beyond the work that she's put in, the attitude that she has Like I remember just seeing her and being like She's so lovable Yeah. She is so lovable and likeike the audience loves her because she is M stunning She is her. J just absolutely gorgeous She also like doesn't take herself too seriously. She's willing to be a goof. she's willing to do this and she's just willing to go out there Try fail even though she doesn't, but even if the audience sees her fail with. Yeah. and then when she does something really good, they're like, Yeah. Yeah you did it. with the attitude that she has, you know, like you can tell her anything. She wants to learn. She wants to get better. She wants to improve. So, you know, I think, I think I think if you I'm not saying she doesn't have talent. She has lots of talent. I didn't have talent. So if you don't have talent, I think you have had legy tell I don't think I'm naturally talented. You takely at anything. You are. fine. okay this sure in particular. What? Ric? Yeah. I have I have u An acumen for it? L have I have a good mental capacity for it. I understand I understand also wrest physically execute it very, very well. Pysically ye, ye, that wouldn't be my strong point. I don't think. like I'm not tenhing. like you actually are I mean, I know I know how to do all the things. I Okay I I have a good mind for it, right But I don't like I never had a natural skill for. I maybe have a natural skill for communicating on that part of it and the ability to be vulnerable Uhh the audience, I'm a very hurt on my sleeve. Yeah person, much to my detriment Mm much to my detriment. But but I think I think that can also help the audience and getting to know you and all those kind of things and that communication. But as far as the in ring stuff never really had that much of a talent for it. But what I did what Ied my work What it worked foraking my it worked. But it worked. even if whether or not you had this natural ability or not You work to improve. I work to improve. You worked your butt off and had an attitude of like Oh no, tell me tell me what I'm doing wrong. You're very coachable. How can I get better? R? How can I learn? I want to know all my mistakes and I still want to know all my mistakes because I still want to improve. I still How do I tell the best stories? How do I How do I get the best matches? What am I How do I How do I reach to the next level or how do I help other people reach to the next level? And I think kind of having that attitude really helps because I think sometimes People want the natural talent I think that can be a bit of a curse sometimes You know? Sure. Because I think if if you don't have to work as hard for it, do you appreciate it? Yeah. Yeah. And then if you have a thing that people are like, oh, you're so great, you're so great, you're so great, you get in your head, Oh great. And then that can mess you up. And then that can can mess you up. whereereas if you're like, o I'm a talentless schob. anything. That anything. I mean, when I think of you, that's what I think.. That anything. anythingthing that happens from there is a bonus. I. That' great. I just tell I gl I can findind it. I, I guess, right You knowhere to go it up. Nohere to gve it up. Yeah. Now I understand, you know, feeling like you're already at rock bottom. Yes, so don't push me down any. No, No you do it to yourself. But I do, I think that's It is consistent among the people that we've interviewed is that work ethic and that drive, but you're adding another piece to it, which is the attitude. Yeah. You know, and's that's really important too. and it's It's humility It's, you know never being too big for the job, like you said, no matter what the job is. You're doing everything you possibly can to study, to get better, to learn, to grow. and every different facet Yeah. And there's so many different facets in our business. so many I mean, it's It's never ended. Yeah It's never a treasure trove. and it's constantly evolving. Yes That also and as is the audience. Yes. You know, as is the mechanism for delivering the content. like as is technology, right? Like everything continues to evolve. who the audience is and what they like continues to evolve as well get hit with the kids But thank goodness we have kids because like I would never know what anything means. Yeah. I mean mine's fine So I don't know. No, it happens. Like you'll see. I mean, I'm down with Kpop demon Hunter. Yeah. Yeah Gabby's time frame. Gabby's dollhouse Oh that's the Yeah I'm out, I'm out. But then then around the business, you know, we've got Javon Evans. Oh, I know. who's twenty one. It's like my daughter's age Yos. Yes He's younger than my wrestling cre. He' with the six. He calleds me mom. I did see that I did see that because He said, yeah, Ma a red hair. Y. V funny. Because I'm old enough to be his mom It's a great feeling. Yeah. I do it. I'm so proud of I now. song I know. Look at lookook at you out there, main event and elimination chamber. I think he's the coolest. He is. He's so awesome. Like the confidence that he has and the ability that he has and his promo, everything this kits start. Right? And he has no idea, I don't think I think he knows. You think? Yeah, you's gotta know, man you's probably be that cool without knowing. I don't know. I feel like he doesn't know.'s why he's cool, he doesn't U no No, I've learned this. Oh because so When Brian Danielson was with us, he would always do these like different surveys amongst people, you know, really? And yeah, yeah like you'd have different things like Like who gets the best Lady pop on a show? Lady pop Lady pop You don't you knowre know a lady pop So, you know, okay, when when when when when the guys go out and they take off their shirt Right Jeff Hardy. That's the lady Party. Okay. That's one hell of a ladypop. Okay. Jeff Hardy. Thereshe. Hell of a ladypop. Okay. Maybe the top ladypop Really? Yeah Yeah And then and then it was debates about different people getting getting l lady pus. Yeah. I totally, you know took that in a wrong What did you think? Popping for the ladies, like the biggest female entrance. Oh, no, no, no. And then hearing it called a lady pop didn't seem Oh yeah. no like it's in the crowd.ere girl. All whereere the ladies. Where the ladies Where the l ladies Where the ladies pop go Yeah, ye. You know what I mean? Got it now ye now it's clear Sone And then there was one like whoo's the coolest person on the roster Okay. And we all unanimously said Jimmy, Usa Okay. And so then I was like, o, hey, Jimmy, who do you think is the coolest person on the roster Newday Me. So you know you know you know when you' cool. when you' you know what that feels like because I've never been cool. so but nor have I ever really played someone cool? so it's fine. It all works outool But But I'm good with it. But I'm good with it. I know I know my role So I think I'm cool. You are cool. You are cool. And you may tell Kobe. I'm like, I'm so cool. And You're not cool, Mommy was like you're not c You're not No, I think I'm cool. You're cool. I think'm no, no, no,mool. You are cool. You are very cool. Yes. What are your pants? I do have cool pants. You have a cool look Always Aw. Yes, Al. Thanks. I love your different looks. Thanks. Yeah. Any different looks, justust trying to figure out how to look cool No you're like, you know, you got like, some real like, you know, like Naomi is so cool. But you're the man. Thats cool. L R is so cool. You're cool. Yeah, yeah, yeah. ye. me. I'm also big time backs. Yeah. I'm so emotional. No, I know. I know all emotion. big time backs. But what I'm just saying, which is not that's like you're cool You're very cal. But anyway, Yeahah, lots of cool folks. to try and keep back to Javonne. Yeah, backack to Javonne. B to my son L to my son, I'm so proud of my son. Yeah. This Austin theory. I think I told this' so great too. I don't don't know. I don't think we've So he told me Did I? Yeah Okay. But so he told me how much I look like his mom. And I am sure he meant it like as the biggest compliment he could possibly give me, right? Like he definitely got a h looves his mom. He's definitely got a h h or not, but like he definitely loves his mom and that was a very big compliment. But he didn't realize as he's saying it to me that that means like, yeah I'm like your mother. I am your mother's age Like that is it's like it's a compliment, but it's also I'm a little older, it's a nice reminder to me pring chicken Spring chicken. It's pretty much fifty this year. And lookook at how great you look. Ni. September We We need a chicken m. compomilation of Every time she tells someone and they're like, Ohh Surprised to know. Part fifty but nobody doesn't sell the age Everybody's like Oh, fifty. Yes. Gosh, I feel like fif no she didn't. I didn't sell a homeouse. I know, you're the first person that fifty fiftyies fifttyies young fiftyies young, we're all just it just keep It keeps getting a decade younger like as I keep going up in decades. and maybe that's because I just keep making as well. I hit thirty, I'm like thirty's the new twenty. Yep. That's hit forty, I'm like forty's the new thirty.. Yeah stression. Y, maybe not These the new forty. Maybe we bring it down. I mean, I heard fifty is the new thirty five the new thirty five, I like that. thirty five. Yeah Jack Jackie's in. Jackies. Yeah we're' in We're in, but also like How great, right? How dude, how great? How great to be a you Right You know, Because like just making it. You know what I mean? Like I feel like there's this there is this thing about agent. and unfortunately, there's more of this thing about agent when you're a woman I'm kind of over this shit. Yeah. I'm so over it. And I'm so over everybody's I' as judgmental as myself. No, no, no, stop that. I know, but I am. Stop that And I'm like friend that way. And I'm like, you know, these wrinkles, I earn these wrinklesnings. I liift these wrinkles. the wisdom that I' hum don't see. wrink when I like at you. am You created life You do. I have created life And you have created life three times. You are God, right? You are God. I mean, aret I all? Yes three like three humans are living in the world. That's true. Like having all of these relations and relationships and you've gotten to see that and then the things that you've put out in the world, like the differences you have made and you've gotten to see it. For nearly fifty years That's awesome. Yeah it is. That is awesome Thank you Yeah. needed that perspective. N, I'm over this shit. Yeah. because I feel like we're all just expected to like freeze frame, especially as women. especially in this Instagramook Culture Like all I can look at is my neck. Every time I watch this podcast, I look at my neck and I'm like And nobody says Lady Neck. Yeah, but you're the But I'm the one who's like And I'm kicking myself apart. Yeah Yeah, always. But But like, why do we look in the mirror and look at all the things we don't like? And then we compare ourselves to whatever this twenty year old, the twenty year old is one day gonna be fifty and then she So let's just stop. Yeah just stop. Yeah, I agree. just like I love Yeah, I love I love I love I love aging. Now I'm all about it. Okay. You know, I'll still use skin creams a. Oh yeah products want good skin at any age, you know what I mean But I will embrace it. And also like, you know, we just we because we got to just we gott to just shed it. Otherwise it'll just keep perpetuating. Yeah. You know, got to set the example. We got to set the example. Yeah. You got to set the example. for your happens with yeah. Well, yeah, I tried to, but now like it's, you know, when you're F wasn't in learn nothing. It's one thing and that's the thing. Do we learn nothing? I remember when she was younger, when I was younger, she was younger, obviously we were both younger And and my mom I was like this is the most beautiful woman I've ever seen in my life. Yeah It was a beautiful woman And she would talk about her wrinkles and she would talk and I was like, what are you talking about? You're stunning. You're amazing You're the most beautiful woman that I've ever seen in my entire life, and she would talk about her wrinkles and she would talk herself down And and so I was always like, I want to have, I'm gonna have so many wrinkles. And then they started run in and then was l is that though? All right. I can understand maybe what she were saying a little bit. Come down a little bit. But I do think it's important to embrace. Yes, to embrace. And I need to be careful with it myself Because you know, it's just gonna to happen to all of us. I know. You can't just freeze frame and is true Although I feel like I've seen all of you guys. Like I look at all of you and I'm like, oh, that's the ideal body. The ideal look you know, you guys are such athletes and always so ripped and, you know, strong and beautiful and like that's That's goals when you say goals like that's goal Jacket off. I know. She's rippedabs, she's stretching. She's all like, you know, all like I just had book for please We watch you in the. We watch you in the ring and you look dynamite always. Yeah. And you have a natural gift in the ring. and maybe you didn't hit other sports Absolutely do in professional wrestling. You really do. And and you've worked incredibly hard to get to where you are and to be where you are You're also naturally gifted. Oh. I think if if I have a good good I have a good brain for it. I have a good brain for it. phhysically I still I have work again So can you not S the example. Uh of what Oh of talking myself. So with that, here's the thing. I don't view it as a negative. So me neither. Well what? Well well I don't think like for example, I look at the way Osca moves, right? R This is comparison, right. But I'm like,, man, wow, unbelievable, incredible. The way she moves is how I think I move. and then I see myself move and then I go Oh, o I don't move different style. Oh, I do not move like Osca. All right, that's what I think I'm doing. Allegedly I don't. But then I go, okay, but that's okay. That's okay. I have your own style. Yeah, yeah, I have my own style. and I'm not like I'm not Naturally gifted my hips med like Like her herers do, you know, and I don't, you know, the way she does and But But I do I have other talalents and I am good at the things that I'm good at. But like I say, I'm not particularly right at the I don't guess. I don't like move like in a real like way that is real smooth. And that's okay, but that's okay. Not every wrestler has to move in that. Right. but you are Your own style. Yes. And you're incredible. Thanks. Yes So what do you think is the most important lesson that you wna teach Rue? Or one of. Oh my gosh. Of. Heaven't A. I think think I think what I want to teach her is not what really needs to be taught to her because justs kind of inner, you know, J just about just being kind been generous, you know ' I think I find that to be kind of the best holidity and human beings And I think that's what we need more than ever. amen is Kindness and she's just she's just good, kind kid. I suppose other than that, you know, you want her to be independent You want her Again, another lesson I don't have to teach her is about being strong willed because o Oh my gosh. That's intimidating. like you're like, hey You know, whatever it is, you know, hey, put your shoes on And she's like, no, no. And you're like, and you see Oh yeah termin look in her eyes and you're like, Oh Oh no, I'm not gonna win this fight. Youel. rightight? Yeah Yeahah. like ye, Okaykay, fine. You know Or like whatever it is. she she yesterday I've been trying to teach her about money So, you know, she's been doing her clean in her room and all that's great saaving up money. And so instead of like buying her toys, now she can buy her own toys. That's so great. try and teach that And so yesterday we went to Target and she bought, you know, her Cody Ro's figure. Y Daddy's figure. She bought this doll,? And it was a tooth fairy doll And it had like a piggy bank and then it had a tooth thing where you put the tooth. And it came with little coins. And I was trying to tell her that the coins go in the piggy bank. And she was like, No, the coins go in the toothpot. And I was like, no, no, they go in the and she was like, no, mama They go and I was Oh, I guess I guess they go in I guess they go in the toothpck. wherever you want ' them to. But then I was also thinking, she's right, they go in the toothp. Because the tooth fairy would take right the tooth. and it would likely what put the money whereoney tooth And then it's up to the kids I know I was like, wow, your logic. right too. rights. Yeah. You're so smart. But that strong will of of the determination the, you know, of I so I think The biggest lesson I hope she trusts her gut. So I think that's what it comes down to That's my long winded way of saying Well, it's a hell of a question really. I want her to trust her goodut because I have a great in my life gone I wish I didn't trust my gut. Yeah. But when you haven't, but when you haven't, go I wish I trusted my g. I wish I trusted my gut. your gut doesn't steer you wrong. I agree with that. You know, and it's all those, I think back all those gut decisions that I made that changed my life. You know, there's actual scientific data that shows that there's a different type of it was like Andrew Huberman podcast I was listening to, so I'm not going to get it right, right? So this is one of those times where I remember hearing something and now here I am saying it probably slightly incorrectly. but It's the type of like sensory cells that we have in our gut that actually can pick up smell. taste different things that we don't associate. It's not in our mouths, it's in our gut. But like so if someone has a particular body odor we could get a gut feeling like if they're nervous, right? and their adrenaline' high Our gut can sense can sense that and we get a gut feeling Oh, something's off with this person or whatever it is. Yeah. So the gut feeling is a real thing onn top of just like instinct and intuition Yeah. again Listen to the Hubberman podcast. I interesterested in that. I'm sure I'm butchering it. but No, but I think that in general. Yeah, right? likeike justustin or so. But so like what one where you didn't Wh I didn't, As you said there's so many times God, probably just lads that I dated That's a great one Oh my God. How many times? like how many times that you're just like Wh Wh? L or like you need to get out of this? You're like, Yeahah, but maybe it you maybe things would get better Right, right? Just like what You know better. You know better. Yeah, you know? When you feel something through and through? Yes, Yes. And that's like a real whatever tame one, I'm sure there's been sure so many other things. But that's a great example. Yeah, ye yeah. But like you just waste time. when you're like if I just listened to my gut Yeah and just got it and out of here, I wouldn't have wasted everybody's time You know? So work ethic attitude. and trusting your gut. Yeah. Neattle get you God and then there's probably like a million times in wrestling where I'm like, o, I should have done this. but part of me said like I know this your This is the playbook. You know what I mean?? And you're like, well, if I had just done that, my d told me to do that, that happens in wrestling, I think all the time. Yeah. But now thankfully Thankfully listen to that gut a lot more. Yeah, that's good Well, I hope you continue to listen to your gut And I hope that we do have the opportunity to in some capacity, work together I'll be there. So but it would be so much fun. It would be so much fun. And I just am so entertained by you. I love watching you. You know, I love the heels anyway, but even though you wouldn't necessarily position yourself that way I love your character and I love all the things you do with it. how much fun you're having, the way you're playing with all these different people and personas and and your logic, which is undeniable I mean It's undeniable It's just factual. It is factual. It's factual change.. Yeah, it's just. I'm not crazy. You're crazy That you see We all crazy things that are going on around. Right. Yeah. It's unbelievable peopleople can't see it. they're just so clearly laying it out I mean, how many matches have you had In total, like But you would say percentage wise, let's say. So Jessica Carr, every time she referees, she screws you, rightight? Yeah. So like how how many matches have you had with other referees. and the past year So like Jessica's refereed forty percent of your matches, sixty percent. Oh gosh, look, these are details that I'm not sure of. Okay. But I can tell you I have won ten out of ten matches that haven't been refereed by Jessica Carr. Okay.'s. That's a lot. That's time lot ten That's a lot. ten out of ten Undeniable.ndeniable. You're undeniable. I'm not even sure that she has a refereing license. I haven't seen it. You know what, That's a really good point I've asked for it. Nobody showed it to me. And you need a lawyer to demand to see it.
